I’m disappointed by how this situation was handled. Despite having a Do Not Disturb/privacy sign on my door, someone entered my room, moved my belongings, and opened the curtains. When I brought this concern to management, their response made it seem like they did not care or take the issue seriously. Privacy and guest safety should be a priority, and feeling dismissed only made the experience worse.

Great rooms, great breakfast. Probably the best courtyards I’ve stayed to date.

Additionally, the lights have sensors on them, and would randomly turn on in the middle of the night. So I would have to get up multiple times each night to go turn them off. The hotel staff were nice, and I've stayed at quite a few Marriotts before, but this one was a bit of a letdown.

Although I chose the pay at property option, I was debited for my stay about 10 days before check in without any communication from the property. That was disappointing to say the least. There should have been some language to that effect at booking. Otherwise, the price was way over inflated. Pricing shouldn't be dynamic in my opinion.

Little dissapointed in the size of room compared to pics and no bathtub very dissapointed but staff is great location great.

Housekeeping was abysmal. Skipped over our room and only had 2 cleanings for a 10 day trip. Access to hotel during holidays is awful due to it sharing a parking lot with a mall. Spent an hour in traffic just trying to reach location.

Enjoyed our stay. Check-in was quick and smooth. The hotel is very close to the mall, and there’s plenty of parking in the back. The room was clean and included a small fridge which wasn’t listed in the amenities. Our only complaints were that there’s no option to keep the AC running continuously, and the walls between rooms are quite thin, so we could hear normal volume conversations from neighboring rooms. Other than that, we would stay here again.

Front walk was very friendly. Location is perfect. Next to the mall and easy access to transportation.

Everything in the room was in good working condition and clean. We were hoping for a tub but there was only a shower. But not a big issue. A few things that I didn’t care for… the pool had the vacuum running and was out of service all morning. I asked what time it was expected to be open, and was told not until closer to 1pm (checkout is at noon). But, they are sister hotels with the hotel next door, so we were able to walk over and use their pool for a bit. Inconvenient, but it still worked out. I just think that’s something that should’ve been running overnight, since the pool is advertised as opening at 6 am. I was also a bit bummed by the breakfast options. There is complimentary breakfast if you’re signed up to be a rewards member (sign up is free) but the options were limited. The petite woman who rang us up was also oddly rude considering she miscounted that 2 adults and 3 children would somehow equal 4, and then when I corrected her that there were 5 of us, she scoffed and then proceeded to be very short with us for the remainder of the encounter. For being free, the breakfast was good and got the job done. Overall, we still very much enjoyed our stay.

A lot of homeless, car was broken into parked right in front of the entrance to the lobby. Staff didn’t seem to care or want to help out in any way. Website says spa and pool, only a pool. No ice machines, you have to get it from the lounge.

The location is very unique since it is right next to the great mall and just days skip and hop to the bar which takes us throughout San Jose. Great location to stay at.

It was easily one of the best stays I’ve had at a hotel! The staff were so considerate and kind. They helped me every step of the way and answered every question with honesty and respect! They even guided me to my room, promptly answered the phone, and provided all necessities on every cleaning! Thank you so much for making my birthday celebration special with decorations and lovely gifts!

I enjoyed my stay and everything was good but I had booked this specific hotel because of the jacuzzi which I desperately needed from a rough work week and it was being renovated along with the indoor pool. If I wanted to use a pool I had to go to another hotel next door and use theirs which was outside. It was just a let down. Aside from that I had no complaints.

The hotel is clean and staffs are very friendly. Cafe breakfast food are decent and tasty. My favorite was the breakfast sandwich. My only complain is the bed. They are not that comfy.

That said, I reserved a room for 5 and input ages. It was clear that I had 2 adults and 3 teenagers in one room. We get to the room and there are 2 queen size beds and a chair. The room is somewhat small. Thats it. So, I asked the front desk where the 5th person goes and she said, "Well, we have rollaways beds but we aren't allowed to give you one. I don't know why it says there is room for 5 in the website." Luckily, we always bring a cot because my kids hate sharing beds. So, we were okay. However, we then were only given 3 towels each day - even after we talked to them about it and said there were 5 people in our room. This and the fact that the pool was closed (which was one of the reasons we chose this hotel) were kind of frustrating. But the served our purpose, so I guess it was fine.

The staff made my stay at this hotel. The person at the front desk was so nice.

The room was clean except the restroom floor was dirty. The eating facility had limited menu and the prices were very high. The place had few guest considering is a very large facility. The staff was friendly, but seen that we are seniors, they should it assigned us a more convenient room location. We have stayed in Marriot hotels nd this one is comes short of the others.

The stay was marred because we found a man on the balcony doing repairs in the morning , while the drapes were open and my husband was naked. This is not acceptable . They had some renovations going on but then should have not assigned the room to us. I complained when we were checking out. She shared that our privacy shouldn’t have been compromised.

The shower would not drain. We were unable to take showers. Staff had to help us use another room on day one day two we didn’t get showers. Nobody would help communicate with us seem to be racially motivated horrible place would not recommend for anyone and I want my money back. I was ripped off and didn’t get any services. Also I was promised a breakfast and we did not get a breakfast. I feel like we were misled and lied to the entire time.

The overall experience on this hotel was great, friendly staff, clean and spacious room and lots of parking, if there was a negative thing about this property I would say the coffee at their Starbucks, worst Starbucks coffee I ever had.

Location is ideal for my purposes of my visit.

It was a great stay for it anniversary. Stayed the night there and then went to the 49ers game. We caught the vta which one of the stations was by home depot

The staff, room and property were excellent! The only bad thing was that the air conditioner smelled really bad when we turned it on ‐ it needs to be serviced.

This is by far my favorite place to stay in San jose. Staff was excellent. Check in was quick. I mean flash fast.

I really enjoyed the central location for access BART, light rail line & shopping. The check-in staff and the breakfast/bar staff were very friendly and personable. I found the rooms to be very comfortable, with the outdoor grounds being refreshing.

It was right next to the Great Mall. Plenty of options for the the kids.

Because the hotel is located near the light rail and railroad tracks, we experienced noise during the evening, but fortunately not during the night.

The Hotel is perfect for the traveler who loves shopping. It is clean and well maintained. The mall is walkable. Parking is very accessible.The only lacking is a microwave in the room. You need to go to the lobby to warm your food. Other than that eveything is good. Will come and visit again the courtyard Marriot in Silicon Valley in the near future.

Nice, modern hotel in a convenient location. The showers were great. We had no issues at all. Staff were very nice and helpful. The only negative I found is they just have 1 elevator and it is very slow. Other than that, great stay!

Room conditions were average seems old property ..missing USB chargers in the room to charge gadgets...

Overall experience, fantastic. My only complaint is some of the guests letting their children run in the halls in the morning but that is not Marriots fault. They have gentle reminders posted for people to be considerate with other people. I was at the hotel for business and had to do some work my room and overall, I am pleased with my experience and completed my tasks.

What a fantastic stay. The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful and the rooms were spacious and immaculate. It’s located perfectly if you like shopping as it’s so close to the mall. Thanks for a great stay!

The lady in the name of Rosie Avila was so accommodating. She went an extra mile in delighting us, which made our stay very comfortable.

We were once again blessed with excellent service and a beautiful and clean room. We weren’t there long enough to enjoy any of the amenities (we literally only slept and showered….were only there for a few hours this time around) but we definitely will stay again!
