I liked the cinnamon rolls at breakfast. Bathroom could have been cleaner in the shower. Found a cherry tomato on the towel shelf in the bathroom which I wasn't expecting.

Yes the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of different choices. Staff were really nice. The rooms were as expected clean and comfortable.

There's a bunch of restaurants nearby and stores are like a few minutes away. Definitely the perfect hotel you can stay at when you need to drop off someone at the airport. The shuttle service also came in a plus! The staff were excellent too!

Excellent reception on phone and upon arrival after a trying morning at airport. Full breakfast and diligent attendant helping keep buffet tidy and warm. Request for bus to airport when overslept promptly provided.

First room I had- very loud high pitched sound coming from heating/cooling system. Staff said to request new room in 15-20 min if didn’t stop. It didn’t. First room also had garbage on the floor. Second room- ok but unplugged refrigerator because of motor noise. Hotel was quiet outside of these noises. Breakfast- poor- cold cereals- floor loops, Frosted Flakes and Raisin Bran all full of sugar and unhealthy. Oatmeal watery Eggs ok Almonds were rancid Fitness room- good selection, mats, free weights. Very very dirty. No water in water dispenser. Nice touch-packaged cookies available 24/7 Hot chocolate had marshmallows and cinnamon and chocolate chips available- didn’t use so don’t know quality Location- excellent if flying

When I first got to the floor my room was on, it smelled horrible. Then I get to the room and found a pool of water leaking from the room fridge. Told the front desk about it. No one came and ended it up having to use the room towels to clean it up. The staff was nice for the most part. And they got rid of the smell the next day. The bed was too soft and the nose from the airport woke me up on occasion. I properly won't come back to Holiday inn Express as a brand.

There was a bunch of hair in the shower drain when I arrived. Additionally, on the first night of my visit, one of the elevators smelled like marijuana

Airport shuttle was easily scheduled and can on time. Our driver Will Smuth was very helpful and friendly. Check in went smoothly. This property was extremely clean and well maintained.

The toilet kept blocking and we were provided with a plunger. Out of 10 nights, our room was refreshed about 6 or 7 times. When we requested clean towels there were none left. Staff were friendly and tried to assist but problems not resolved.

Wry concerned ie t for a one night stay near the airport flying in at 9:30 pm. Nice breakfast before checkout and drive to Blacksburg VA.

Wonderful stay! Front desk associate was so helpful - I was exhausted from a red eye flight and she looked closely and found a room that I could go to right away. Really appreciated that extra effort! The breakfast was great, nice vending area and comfortable room. Will be back!

My fire alarm would not stop going off in the middle of the night. We didn’t sleep. Had permission to remove it from the wall from the front desk because the maintenance crew wasn’t in yet. I removed the battery and it was dated 11/2019! 6 years since it has been replaced … not safe and will never return.

Great stay. The check-in attendant at the time was unfriendly, but some people are just like that. The room was clean and fresh. The beds were very soft and comfortable. My only complaint is there is no ventilation in the bathroom. After a shower, the ceiling was dripping water and there was standing water on the countertops, toilet, and floor. I had to dry off everything, including my hair dryer prongs. This is a fire and safety hazard.

Everything was very good. Only exception was exhaust fan in bathroom did not work. Looked like fan has not worked for quite a long time. We did not notify desk.

I also want to thank the shuttle driver who picked me up at Avis rent a Car at 10:45 at night, after I had returned my rental.

Our room was clean and nice! The front desk was always helpful. The biggest bonus (we stayed at 2 other hotels this week in different locations) was that the AC was working in the lobby and breakfast area! This heat wave is awful but it was the best stay partly because of the AC in the lobby!

The lady at the front desk was lovely. She was dealing with several people who arrived at the same time. She moved quickly, was pleasant, and was helpful. When someone arrived and couldn’t figure out if it was the right Holiday Inn Express, she was reassuring and helped him get things figured out.

Holiday Inn always delivers a friendly staff, clean room and great locations at reasonable rates.

99% of staff & cleanliness was great. But it is where the planes take off ,so you will hear them flying overhead ( loudly). And try not to use their canopy when checking in or unloading luggage , otherwise their shuttle driver will pull beside you and continuously honk his horn (like he did us). Thank goodness all other staff knew how to use their words and was very helpful.

All other hotels only check IDs just to verify identity, the clerk input my info into their system, why? Also, can’t use Apple Pay for security deposit even after verifying the card. I was told it’s company policy. Fraud alert !

Kind of price shopped around looking for a place to stay for a college graduation. Pricing was better near the airport, and still less than 15 minutes from NC State in Raleigh. Hotel staff were great, place was super clean, and the morning breakfast is great. Very pleased, would go back again.
