My family and I had a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated that breakfast was available until 10 a.m. The location was also very convenient, with the beach, stores, and restaurants all close by.

Need to refill shower amenities. Ours were empty.

Parking Dated

Breakfast was awesome. Staff was awesome. Always clean rooms. Special shout out to Hector (front desk) and didn’t get her name but also the women (dark skin) at the front desk. Both were extremely friendly & helpful. They calmed me down - dealing with loud kids running up & down the hall while parents socialized in the hallway drinking. At 11:30 pm. They were willing to switch our room.

Excellent breakfast in a light and airy breakfast room. Good size room, comfortable bed, quiet location but well placed for our needs. Nothing that I can think of. It lived up to what I expected from my online research and what I would expect from a Hampton.

We made an excellent choice in staying at this location. All the employees were friendly, especially the front desk staff and Isabella in the breakfast buffet area. The buffet had a good variety and was well maintained. We were able to walk nearby to the Town Center for shopping and restaurants.

Rooms aren’t as nice as those shown online when booking. Place was just ok. Is in a good location. They put us in a room under the housekeeping laundry…very noisy during the day.

Room was clean, but outdated, had no door to bathroom. Really needs remodeling. Staff super nice and accommodating.

My sister and I come to Mount Pleasant at least two or three times a year. We always choose this hotel because it’s always clean. The staff is very friendly and make us feel so welcomed while we are there..

Everything about our stay was perfect! Everyone was so friendly especially the breakfast hostess three of our four mornings. She made a point to speak to each guest and ask them about their stay! It is people like her that make you want to come back to the hotel again!

This place could use updating. Mattresses were old and worn, your choice was the 'hole' that was there. There was no escaping it. Our sheets had holes in them and the bathmat was worn with a seam missing. This made the mat look tattered. I'm loyal to Hampton Inn,but will never stay at this one again.

was kind enough to get us another room with king bed, and had outlets for dryer and hair rollers. We took it, but then I needed to put the toilet seat down and it was covered with urine, I touch it with bare hands. I was upset, l calmed myself down and cleaned the toilet myself. I was very surprised cause usually your properties are in top shape.

The room was a suite, so the extra space was great.

Property was in a safe area. Hotel was clean as were the rooms. Staff was friendly and personable. Close to places to eat and shop.

We enjoyed the the room with the kitchette was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast everyday.The lobby was beautiful. People from your management team were there daily talking with your clients they were very friendly and offered to help in anyway they could. This breakfast has longer hours unlike other hotels. This allowed us time to wake up without being rushed to breakfast. The bed was very comfortable the sofa and the chair were not. We tried to watch a movie but the sofa really was so uncomfortable we had to go into the bedroom to finish the movie. There was a ceiling fan in the bedroom that did not work we mentioned it to the front desk and they explained that it was controlled by the wall switch. That was not the issue, the switch did not work. The temperature outside was cool so we really got along fine without the fan. Hopefully it will be fixed before it is needed in the future.

The location is great, walkable to shopping and restaurants. The lobby is very welcoming, was cutely decorated for fall. Carrie was thoughtful and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Nice place to stay! Wish they had more than one pool and maybe an adult only area with hot tub!

The staff was nice. The breakfast was good. We stayed in a suite with full (tiny) kitchen. The utensil tray was missing in the dishwasher. There are absolutely no towel bars in the bathroom to hang towels on or a change of clothes. There are only two small trashcans in the whole place with no trashbag liners. Gross. The ottoman in the living room was worn out. My son slept on the sleeper sofa and the springs were so loud every time he moved, that he couldn't get any sleep. House cleaning was supposed to come every other day, however, we left out around noon on the day they were supposed to clean. They never came to clean. We did ask for fresh towels at the front desk which the staff readily gave. Parking was fine and the hotel is in a nice area. Overall, an average stay. Not fancy. Old hotel.

Hotel was in a convenient location, close by to several restaurants and an easy drive to the beach. The hotel and the room were clean and comfortable. However, the best part of the hotel, was probably the front desk staff every time that I engaged with them they were friendly and accommodating.

Big mistake staying on ground floor due to chlorine odor and damp carpet around bathroom. Also little children would knock on our door and then run away.

Check in was at 4pm. Checked in at 5pm. Only one of our two rooms ready. Checked in the other room at 7pm. Housekeeping poor. Lilly at front desk great. Fairfield better shape up with housekeeping. Ya know, they took $100 on hold for two rooms and I still haven’t seen all my money come back. Even the fridge doors open into the furniture so you can’t access the fridge. Details!!!

Our stay was amazing. Love this hotel. We only had time to stay one night but will definitely be back to stay for longer next time. We had a suite and it comfortably fit all 5 of us. The suite was clean, the beds so comfortable, had plenty of towels, and the desk reps were so nice and friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Check in was lovely. Room was excellent - pillows not so much. I wish hotels would provide at least one firm solid foam pillow. Four soft squishy ones just don’t provide any support for my neck and shoulders. Breakfast was adequate, though I would have wished for fruit and hotter water for tea for my companion. Dark roast coffee hit the spot.

The property was great, what I didn't like was Expedia charged me $359.00 for 1 night, the hotel charged $250.00. Such a disappointment, I will never use Expedia again.

We traveled for a wedding and stayed for six nights in a king suite. The staff was excellent, breakfast was fine for hotel fare, but the room lighting is dim and the bathroom set up is less than ideal. The closet is awkward and small, mirrored sliding doors were old and didn’t always cooperate, but the location within the shopping plaza, the comfortable bed and good sheets (I’m picky) and kind staff, compensated for other things mentioned that were less excellent. The pool area is nice and our kids enjoyed swimming on one of our days in town.

It was great! The room we stayed in was on a hall by itself and it was quiet and well maintained. The room was clean and staff was friendly. The kids loved the pool! It was also nice to have a kitchenette to keep snacks and things for the kids. The location was great too with its proximity being close to everything we did on our stay. It was great!

Someone forgot to send the confirmation to the Hampton Inn.We have no room for the night.l would appreciate if someone could explain to me and my husband why we force to sleep in my car.We paid for a room and didn't get one.

The day we arrived, my granddaughter sat on the right side of the bed on the right side in the left side of the bed pulled up. We went to the front desk, but they didn’t have any maintenance on staff until in the morning to fix the bed later on that day, my granddaughter went into the bathroom to use it, and there was a roach on the floor. She killed it and brought it to my attention. I went back to the front desk and she asked me to bring the roach to her which I did and she agreed that it was a roach. She then told me there was nothing she could do till the manager came in the next morning And would look into giving me a credit on my room, but because I reserved the room through hotels.com. The only thing they did was give me 5000 points on my Hilton account. The manager told me she would give me enough points so I could at least get one free night at the Hilton 5000 points does not give you a free night when I first went to the front desk about the bed the girls seem to have a little bit of an attitude when I came back about the roach her whole attitude changed.

This property has a very Charleston vibe and very close to Isle of Palms beaches, restaurants and shops.

Our room was very nice. There were staff everwhere working on different things and making sure the guests were taken care of.

Staff were very nice and helpful! Room was clean but the property has some age on it. Shower was very roomy with good water pressure. Faucet/knob needs tightened and sink was missing nozzle that caused it to spray weird - wet the counter and splashed a lot. Handles needed tightening too. Staff would make me want to come back and give another try. Good area we felt!

This property was very clean and the breakfast was great. It’s right across from a Trader Joe’s and a bunch of little shops behind the Trader Joe’s. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the Mount Pleasant area

Great place to stay! Clean and quiet and centrally located to everything we needed. Only wish our room had a bathtub in it or had the website had the option to choose to have a bathtub. Other than that absolutely NO complaints!!!!

There is a serious lack of handicapped parking. There are a total of 3 spots, very unsafe if you return after dark. This is a large space for so few handicapped parking spots.

For the most part it was a very nice stay, however there was a spot on the side of the mattress when the sheet slid up there was a gross looking stain !!!!!!

We love being in the Town Center - there are great restaurants and shopping close by and easy access to IOP connector and other places we were visiting.

We had a great anniversary getaway and enjoyed the location of this hotel. It was convenient to several things we wanted to see and only 10 miles or so from downtown Charleston. Staff was very friendly!

Everything was great with my stay, except that I was given a room next to multiple rooms of teen girls and their families here for an event. Surprisingly, the evening was quiet, but they were traveling room to room from 5:45-7:45 a.m. To make matters worse, the doors slam shut every time they close. It made for a not so restful sleep which was what I really needed.

Very comfortable bedding, clean. My roommate made use of the free breakfast and said it was delicious, hot and fresh.

The hot water was scalding. Since the vav sink had two faucets it took a while adjusting the flow from both sides to get the right temperature without burning. There was a drip coming from outside my room which was so loud it woke me up in the middle of the night and I couldn't go back to sleep. Walls are also thin and transmit conversations. Breakfast was like you might expect for a Red Roof. Overall this place is past it's prime.

I was staying without transportation and occasionally had time on my hands. I felt safe walking at night snd during the day, and great dhopping within walking distance. This was my third time staying here with a fourth stay already booked. No need to look or stay elsewhere. The bed was comfortable, room is always spotless, the staff is amazing and so friendly, and they offer a decent breakfast.

Our room was very neat and clean. We had the suite and the layout worked well for my family of four. The staff from the front desk to the breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful.

The location of the property made it extremely easy to get to restaurants and shops nearby. The staff was very pleasant and quick to assist when needed.

Very clean! Check in was real easy. Resturants are close by easy walking distanced. Customer service is outstanding! Make sure you check every night stand in your room. My husband wedding ring was in a nightstand where he put it and he forgot it. I called back to the hotel and was told it had already been clean. I told the front desk clerk and he went to check and it was not in the night stand. The cleaning team said they did not see a ring!"Yeah right" It has the Lords Prayer on it!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel! My husband, 11 yr old son, and myself stayed for 3 nights and the bed and shower was IT for us!!! Bed was comfy and shower gave what it was suppose to give. We were 4 miles from the beach (Isle of Palms) and we enjoyed it and was crowded, however daily $20 parking tho :-( There was a plaza across the street and We walked over and had early dinner at Charleston Pub. Food was good.

All was good until the last day. Our confirmation email had a checkout time of 12:00. The front desk clerk told us we had to be out by 11, that the booking company was using outdated info. We rushed to get ready and began loading the car. While we were taking some luggage to the car, the cleaning crew began cleaning and turned in some items to the front desk. This was at 10:50 am. He made it clear that bookings from a third party site are discouraged and those with such bookings won’t receive the same level of service.

Bathroom was in bad shape, especially the tub which didn’t drain very well at all. Everything else was ok…not bad, but not great. Except the staff, who were great. Very friendly and helpful people.

My only complaint was that the first night of our stay, a kids baseball team was having a birthday party and occupying the entire pool area and it was very loud and not a place I would want to be to relax and swim. I e never seen a hotel allow one party to monopolize the whole of one public space with no previous warning. Otherwise, the stay and room itself, worked out well.

My stay was great however the smoking ashtray/object is directly outside the side entrance door and non smokers are subjected to inhaling cigarettes residue entering and depart building while smokers are near door smoking.

Property is very outdated. The carpet and decor in the rooms are very dated, in major need of an update. But the worst is the hotel is doing roof renovations, so there was construction junk everywhere but especially in the breakfast buffet/dining room with buckets catching water drips. Gross! Brings a whole new meaning to drip coffee. Dirty construction buckets, tools, etc all around. This should have been disclosed on the reservation for sure. Not up to par.

We are repeat customers. We really enjoy staying here when we come to Isle of Palms. You can always rely on Hampton Inn's as they are always consistent in every way. We love staying here too, because it is close to Isle of Palm and we enjoy going there for the day to stay on the beach. Clean, Quiet, Great Breakfast, and excellent location. Definitely recommend.
