JANNNA IS EXCELLENT. Couldn't access main women's bathroom d/t it being closed down. Couldn't access pool with our key card d/t the scanner being broke and had to wait for staff to let us in pool

The property is in a great location and convenient to everything we needed (restaurants, stores, beach, etc). It was in a quiet area with a wonderful walking trail, pool, exercise room, and a delicious breakfast offering a wide variety. Very dog friendly. The staff were all friendly, helpful and exceptional! Nothing.

Loved the kitchenette and the spaciousness of the room. Everything was very clean. We appreciated the real plates/glasses/etc in the room which cut down on disposables, the recycling cans and the attention to sustainability. Breakfast was fantastic to have available every morning. We also used the laundry available so we didn't have to pack as much. There were a few items in the room that needed some maintenance attention (loose cabinet handles/blinds hardware, bathroom sink fixture) but we took care of those on our own for the most part. Close enough to Charleston (20 min drive) but not in the middle of all the traffic and it was more affordable. Overall a really great stay!

This is the first time I stayed at a home 2 suites hotel. I was pleasantly surprised at how large the sweets were. It had everything that we needed. The staff was excellent. Very friendly and welcoming. The only small complaint I had is that the pillows were horrible. They were paper thin. I don't know how these can even be called pillows. I asked them to bring up two more so that we could stack them up. The pillows that they brought up were a little bit thicker but still got flat very quickly. That was the only thing that made my stay uncomfortable. Trying to get a good nights sleep with horrible pillows.

Was not impressed with the breakfast. No hot eggs when we got there. Hard boiled eggs were over cooked and not peeled. No bacon the first day. There was no place for us to sit. All tables were taken. The pillows on the bed were not firm at all. Too flimsy. Shower door would not slide on one side.

The room amenities were very convenient

Plan for atleast one hour if you want to take a shower since the shower head is tiny and has very very low water pressure.

Local spot, very close to many restaurants and shops. You don’t even really need a car to explore the area- you are so close to so many restaurants. This is our second time staying here because we loved it so much

My stay was horrible. I found bugs in the bathroom, and the second room they gave me had a very strong smelly odor to it. I was on the first floor and all I heard was people stomping and walking throughout the night. It was not good at all.

We love staying at Home2 Suites!

The only thing going for this hotel is its location and proximity to the beach and Mount Pleasant Towne Centre. We unfortunately booked on a weekend where several sports teams were staying and they created noise disturbances past 9 pm which made it hard to sleep. Furthermore, our room upon check in looked like it had not been cleaned or used in awhile. There was rust in the bottom of the dishwasher, stains on the bathroom wallpaper and brown sediment came out every time you turned the faucet on. We reported this twice to management and maintenance only to be told that they had replaced the boilers so that was why. We were not offered a discount on our room or a move to another room until late in the afternoon on Saturday and only got offered to move after I suggested it. But we were leaving Sunday morning and didn’t want to cancel our plans just to come back to the hotel and move our stuff. The manager never called to follow up with us after check out. Think carefully before booking here.

Fast check in and very pleasant young man at the desk. Very clean in and around the property. Breakfast was good and nice selection of food.

Both blinds broke and they said wait until morning. My 79 year old husband crawled up and rigged them so the parking lot wasn't getting a show. Very devil may care attitude.

Close to everything in MtPleasant but off the beaten path enough to be quiet. I asked for a receipt and they weren’t able to provide one. Not a huge deal, but I had no idea how much I was spending. The rates changed from booking time, so I just wanted to know how much was left in my bank account lol.

Fire pit was not working. Hot water and coffee kept running out and they did not replenish on time.

The facility was neat, extremely clean and the room had great amenities for coffee, refrig, etc. We did not have time for Breakfast, but the area appeared very nice and well stocked.

This was a very nice hotel. We liked the staff, the room was clean and it was convenient to both Charleston and activities near Mt Pleasant. Our room was extremely large and had amenities for a longer stay. There was a pond next to hotel with a foot path around it. We were surprised by the many types of birds there!

Everything was excellent and clean. My only complaint is that the breakfast attendants don’t restock anything if you come in the final 30 minutes of breakfast hours. I wouldn’t be surprised if that wasn’t instructions from the owner. Often, they try to be cheap as well as by not restocking shampoo and soap with what’s advertised on the bottle in the rooms.

I highly recommend this motel. We plan to look for Home2 Suites by Hilton whenever we travel.

The room was nice and spacious. We had to fiddle with the shower quite a bit to get proper water pressure. The breakfast was great and replenished right up until it closed at 10:00am. Would definitely stay here again.

I asked for a room with a few of the pond. After being told there wasn’t one, then was told I will be in a room o relooking the pool and instead got a room looking at the backside of the auto shop. When I told the FDA about it, he said oh I thought o put you in an even number room. I said nope and I’m disappointed. Nothing else was said to remedy the error. The room was clean, but the error in room placement was very disappointing.

Every time I need help with something, the staff always help me out with courtesy, I was grilling enjoying the nice view, and with my family we enjoyed, comfortable room and amenities, my kids loved it!!!

Hotel room smelled like dog - when I told Irish the desk clerk she stated it was a pet friendly hotel and she would let house keeping know- never offered us another room. Laundry available yet one of their dryers was filled with rust and had no out of order sign on it - If you put your clothe in before you realized they would be ruined ! It was that bad (the dryer)

Room smell was nauseating. The initial room we were given smelled like a wet dog so we asked to switch rooms immediately. The next one was just as bad. We limited the time in our room to just sleep to avoid being in there. They started putting up breakfast before 10 am.

The hotel was very nice and the rooms were big, clean and up to date. The staff was very friendly and polite. The location was excellent for all of the venue’s that we toured. The breakfast was very nice and clean.

Overall hotel was fine. The first night got in late and room had odd smell. Realized in morning water was dripping in room. They gave a new room. Location was good, room is big and loved stocked kitchen. The bad part was the little league travel teams that must stay a lot because they had a poster just for them with rules. Wish we knew that because Saturday we were going to unwind by pool but it was completely taken over(grills,music,kids everywhere) by families of the ball teams. Definitely not relaxing.

We were given the wrong room at check in and had to go back to the front desk and get that corrected. The staff was ok but didn't go out of their way to make us feel welcome. The bathroom sink didn't drain the best. The bed was ok, not super comfy and the pillows were worthless, flat as a pancake. The breakfast is mediocre at best, didn't have forks available half of the time. Seems like its gone down hill a bit since staying there 2 years ago. We like the locations as its close to IOP.

Pullout sofa is super think, creaky and made for a horrendous night sleep. Other than that, stay was fine at the hotel. I would stay again if they upgraded their pull out sofa mattresses for our family or 5.

We have stayed here a couple of times! We like the suites that have a small kitchenette as we can do a little bit of cooking while on vacay!

Our pillows smelled like mildew swamp, people upstairs were were so loud that there was no sleep or nothing. We asked to be moved which they did. Still not sure why the people upstairs were conveniently residing there and disturbing everyone.

Great staff who were very helpful when anything was needed (extra Kleenex, toilet paper, towels). this location was very accommodating and accepting for our softball team. We enjoyed the free breakfast which included waffles, eggs, cereal and a wide variety of breads to make breakfast sandwiches. There was a nice pool area with plenty of seating. Also had 2 large grills for cooking out.

Overall our stay was very good. What brings down my rating from excellent is the bed not being as comfortable as expected.

Everything was great other than the fact that we had the room right by reception/the main hotel entrance/the breakfast room. We heard every conversation and phone ring at reception. We asked for another room but they didn't have one on a different floor so we settled for ear plugs.

The place was immaculate especially considering it was pet friendly. Great pet areas. The pool was clean and beautifully furnished and well lit. The included breakfast was delicious. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The landscaping was beautiful and the hallways were clean and well lit at night. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would recommend and stay there again if the opportunity arises. The suite we had was also spacious and accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The one bedroom suite was nice. Our only complaint were the beds. The pullout couch in the living room was very uncomfortable. The king bed want much better. It would be great to actually have a blanket on the bed and not a mattress protector as your only covers. Very strange. Still a great stay and would definitely stay there again.

It was nice to have a fairly well-equipped kitchen in the suite. We used it quite a bit. The sofa was terrible! The cushion was uncomfortable and sloped to the center. Needs to be replaced. Room was not what i expected for a $250+/ night hotel room. Breakfast was nice, but the hot bar disappointed. The location was ideal as it was next to my daughter's apartment complex. We could walk to it with ease. This part of Mt. Pleasant is very nice.

We had a suite as we’re remote working between two weekend family visits. Room was great - small kitchen - two separate functional work areas. Staff was helpful, nice. Breakfast was way above average. Shopping mall and many restaurants nearby. Very nice neighborhood for a visitor.

The property appeared fine and clean, however my stay was ruined when I realized the bites that showed up on my arms and legs were from bed bugs! This ruined my two day getaway since I had to spend a lot of time and effort cleaning my packed clothes and my luggage so that I didn’t bring an infestation of bed bugs to my home.

The room was nice and clean, so I guess the housekeeping staff know what they are doing, which is more than can be said for the front desk staff. Our check-in was not processed correctly, so we got a phone call at 1am from the front desk trying to figure out who was in the room. Never even got a "sorry to bother you" or "we are sorry that that happened. "

Loved the location and property of this hotel. Had a wonderful selection for breakfast and walking distance to coffee. My only complaint is our suite had a smell. I think someone had smoked in the room and it was never dealt with properly. Everywhere else in the hotel smelled great (even the stairwell). Other than that we had a great stay.

Great place, especially if traveling with a pet! There is a beautiful reservoir with ducks and walking trail to walk the dog. Very clean, loved the option of having a great kitchenette in the room. Breakfast offerings were plentiful. The only negative is for a pet friendly chain the price of $75 a night is rather high!

The rooms are very spacious with lots of room to store You’re belongings on a longer trip. The furniture could use a little steam cleaning. There were stains on the couch and the chair. Note that there is no safe in the room and if you are booking through Expedia or another travel site and have special requests for the hotel, such as a tub in your room, you will have to call the hotel directly to request because they said Expedia doesn’t send over that information.

I do not have big expectations for these hotel free breakfasts but thought this was subpar at best. No yogurt, not much in way of fruit and premade breakfast sandwiches were kinda cold.

The third floor’s AC was pumping freezing cold air the three days we were there. The rooms had one vent pumping the freezing air and a wall unit pumping heat. Asked for maintenance and they weren’t available. Asked for manager, not available.

If you are looking for microwave breakfast and frozen bagels you you might say there is a breakfast offered. Filthy office chair in the room and some holes on top of the dishwasher that rather be closed. It wasn't too bad experience, but far from excellent

The room was great. Having the fire alarm go off 3 times (9:30 pm, 2:30 am, 3:30 am) was not great. The first time brought us all to the parkin lot and brought the fir dept over. Glad there was no fire! It would be nice if the hotel even apologized, but no. Breakfast was meh. Plant based creamer or milk seems common at hotels these days, but not here.

The fire alarm was briken so it was turned off completly until it could be fixed. The fire pit was broken and advised the front office staff and they said that someone broke it and they had to call someone out to fix it. 2 days later another guest fixed and said it was a tripped circut. The breakfast is not wrll maintained. One day there was no milk fir the cereal. They offer microwaveable breakfast bowels that they heat up and leave under a heat lamp for you. The room smelled when we got there. The doors are cleaned with a wood polish and left greasy to the point that you dont want to touch them. We had no issue with the hot water.

Staff was excellent and the room was decent, and very spacious. Had an alarm system malfunction multiple times during the night, which is why the low review. It was just unlucky timing

Was much more than expected. Check in was lovely and the room was even nicer than expected. Very impressed with it all

The rooms were large, beds were soft and comfortable and walk in shower was wonderful

We stayed at this property for 4 days with family. The rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. My only concern was that the employees were making their breakfast with the guests and sometimes taking a long time as they would be making multiple waffles for other employees. Also was a little disappointed that the fire pit did not work. I would suggest getting it fixed or update your website that it is not working. Even though I didn’t bring my don’t was nice to see that they were very pet friendly. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
