The location was great! It was across the road from the beach. Staff was great and friendly. Clean facility, beds were comfortable. Our room faced the ocean so the view was awesome! The shower water pressure could have been better. Took a bit to get hot water.

The room was spacious and had a good view. Its location is perfect for walking to local restaurants and attractions. The staff were nice and very accommodating.

The property is so close to everything. Most days we didn’t even have to use a vehicle to get where we wanted to go! The signage outside can be confusing. The sign right outside says AquaVista instead of Aqua Beach.

Location was perfect. Staff was friendly and professional. Amenities (pool) was nice and enjoyable! Rooms were in better condition than expected and had everything we needed. We didn't receive a turndown service or even someone to come by to collect the trash, however it was fine and not a big deal. It's just usually expected in a hotel.

Not a lot. The room was not the cleanest. The bathroom was leaking from somewhere- I assume the shower. It was a mess of water all over the floor if the shower was used. Not the cleanest. The room was very outdated. The first night we arrived the balcony door handle was very loose. It ended up falling off the day we were checking out. Check-in host was not very friendly. There was no phone in the room if any issues were to arise.

It a nice, clean. quiet place to stay friendly people helpful, the only thing I forgot my kids water bottles. I enjoyed my 3 days staying.

Everything was fine, except there were no batteries in the remote, No iron in the room, No phone to call and let the front desk know of these things. No one came to give fresh towels. But the location was perfect. I was able to walk everywhere I went. Parking was great. Front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. I will definitely stay here again, but these are just little things that I know can be fixed. Thanks

Booking through expedia is a scam and I do not recommend. AquaVista had the same issue with multiple people and was able to tell me exactly what was happening. To my surprise no deposits for my trip had been paid and I was responsible for the entire cost upon arrival. I was not expecting for the deposits that were taken to be a fee for Expedia. I want my money back asap. Shame on you!

The best thing about this place was the location for us. The hot tub was closed and I was really looking forward to that. The pool had the hose running into it. The parking is not great. They allowed people to park trailers in spots that could have been used for car. The trailers should have been made to park in the secondary parking. Staff was super friendly! The room... Left a lot to be desired. The balcony door was broken and was super hard to open and close. The tub was extremely slippery. It felt dirty and out dated. The shower head was terrible. I wouldn't stay again but if you won't be in the room a lot and need a place close to things, it would be just ok.

The staff at the Aqua Beach Inn were very kind, professional and helpful from the moment we stepped through the doors. The property is quaint. Our room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom wasn't as clean as I'd hoped (mildew stains, bath tub had a slow drain and there was hair on the toilet when we checked in), but the staff did address my concerns. The floors could use a good mopping. My socks were filthy after walking around the room for just a couple of hours. I'm not sure though if it was from the bathroom or the sleeping space. Nonetheless, the property is older so I needed to keep that in mind. And the price for the space AND location couldn't be beat. If you have issues with the constant smell of marijuana, this place is not going to be for you. Also, it gets pretty loud on the strip. I didn't mind that at all, but if you are looking for a quiet place, this is not going to be your ideal location. However, if you are in Myrtle Beach and want a great view, want to be in the thick of things and have quick access to the boardwalk....THIS IS YOUR PLACE! Also it has free on-site parking. =D

To much was going outside , cars were getting towed , patio needs to be repainted it was a lumpy patio , scratches all on the tv stand smh that was not worth over 300+ I see why it don’t show all the pictures for the room . It was The fair around that time wrong time wrong location. Gotta be more direct of where to park at because why i arrived couldn’t find a spot because people was parking in spots they didn’t belong should have got there cars tow like other people being in the wrong spot .

Location is top-tier. It isn’t *technically* on the beach, but it’s right across the street and I was able to get a great view of the ocean from my room. Under 5 min walk to everything you need! Sky Wheel, beach, restaurants, night life, boardwalk, tourist attractions (Ripley’s, etc.) Quick and affordable Uber to/from the airport as well! Very clean! Room was spotless, stocked, smelled good. Staff was awesome. Always welcoming and kind. Kept my deliveries safe! I Ubered, so I can’t speak on the parking, but it seemed very convenient with 2 entrances and covered areas for unloading. I highly recommend!

Only stayed for a night so no real complaints, for price. Check beds, ask for extra blankets before 10pm! Door latches were damaged so a key could unlock door… Staff was very friendly! And easy to deal with. Unnecessary deposit, to not check rooms and not really clean enough to be a non smoking property but STAFF was GREAT!! parking was a life saver!!

Great area plenty of things to walk to and the beach is right there. Room is very old and the floors had lot on them as if they haven’t been swept. The hot tub wasn’t working and nobody told me when I checked in, had to find out when I was ready to get into it. $150 hold for one night stay is a lot specially for the type of hotel when I stayed at higher end hotels and only had a $30-$50 hold a night. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here unless you are fine with a cheap stay.

2nd. Room smelled like bleach so bad it was hard to breathe. Front desk person came up and sprayed something that only helped for a couple hours. 3rd. mold on lamp shade. 4th. Broken lamp shade 5th after shower walked to the bed and bottom of my feet were black with dirt. Took a clean damp towel wiped small area of floor and it was filthy. 6th air conditioner barely worked. Had reserved 2 nights did not stay 2nd night. Expedia was great in helping get refund and a different hotel.

Very clean room, friendly staff, and my room had a beautiful ocean view (just like in the pic). Very conveniently located to beach and boardwalk, plus shops and restaurants, within 1-3 blocks. Also just a few blocks away (in the opposite direction) from the busier/bigger main road w/ more businesses (standard chain restaurants and stores, plus some mini golf places). It's not an upscale place, but I didn't need that -- and all other features mentioned before made me very happy with my stay!

The Bad: because it's so close to the strip its very loud.. the sliding doors help keep out the noise but it's still noisy. The smell of weed in the elevator and the town was unbearable. Sitting on the balcony gave us a slight high.(that's dramatic but the smell to us was awful.. not the hotels fault, just the location) noisy slamming doors.. again not hotel fault, just ignorant people. Was worth the money, but i would never go back to this particular hotel.

My room was spacious and clean. I had a small balcony with two chairs and a table. The kitchenette was nice sized and could allow for an extended stay. I was on the 3rd floor so my view of the beach was through an alley but I suspect it would be better on higher floors. This part of the downtown is pretty active so if you need deep silence to sleep that could be a challenge. I found the staff to be really friendly and helpful which is always a plus. I was always able to find a parking space right near the door so that was great. You are a two minute walk to the boardwalk and that was my main attraction so I would recommend this place. It is a solid offering for the price.

The walls were thin and the neighbors were LOUD! The room was clean enough but the bed was very hard with a plastic cover that rattled each time we moved.

We didn’t even end up getting to stay. We arrived there late at night. There was no parking. It was not very helpful or safe feeling.

Staff were very friendly upon check in and it was a smooth process. View from 11th floor was amazing. Bar and grill across the street had pretty good food and drinks/ I only stayed for a few hours due to my flight home being cancelled but I’d definitely stay here the next time I’m in town. Great stay for the price I paid!

We stayed 1 night on sunday night. The young man who checked us in was awesome, his name was romario! The hotel decor was so cute and amazing. We very much enjoyed our stay. It was a last minute decision and went very well. My only complaint was the shower was not working properly, it would not allow the water to come to the shower nozzel. After driving from ohio to myrtle a shower was definately needed! Other than that it was a great stay!

The lampshades in our room were both moldy.

First room smelled so strongly of marajiana smoke due to the neighboring room with a shared door. Requested to switch room which was much better. Room doors slam loudly which woke me up several times throughout the night.

Staff could be more helpful.....I had jst lkst my place to live and had my stuff in parking lot checking out and a older black woman who was about to start her shift says hanging out car window is all that my stuff I replied yes and she says well we cant have that I needed to move all my stuff into another hotels parking lot? It didnt make sense that after 3 days with them they wld be so rude. I was already going through a rough time because I paid rent to someone who took it and ran knowing she had already been evicted and in middle of winter Im put out in the cold. Have some heart.

Rooms clean, Myrtle Beach in general doesn't seem to understand how customer service is suppose to work. All hotels in US are a front for something far more sinister.

The room was great! The staff were great! Hotel overall is prettygood, especially for an older hotel. Great view from the 11th floor! The area is not the greatest. Sirens heard throughout the day and night. Unhoused people lingering. However, for the price, i would stay here again.

Letting people know ahead of time. Pool is shut down for winter and no jacuzzi. Privacy in this world we live is a must but my main door deadbolt couldnt be locked and back slider was busted so only closed with a rod in it. Its kinda disturbing that if someone wanted to, could climb

Price charged was not the price the website said the total amount I would pay. At check in they wanted me to sign a form saying I would put my linens and trash in the hallway. The also wanted to put a $300 charge on my credit card that I would not get back for 3 days.

I could not believe the price it was so inexpensive very clean. Everybody is super friendly as far as the price and what you get 11 out of 10.

Had to ask 3 different times for wash clothes. Huge gap when door closed. Furniture banged up pretty bad. Room needs more lamps. Bathroom was very clean.

This hotel was a random find while doing a search on Expedia and I’m so glad I chose to stay here! The staff were friendly and helpful, quick check-in and checkout, great location, the room was clean, and the lobby is fun & unique. My room was on the 6th floor and my balcony had a great view of the NYE fireworks. Plenty of things to do within walking distance. I highly recommend!

Well, I wasn’t aware of the one hundred and fifty dollar deposit for the room. I booked the room through Expedia. However, I was registered to 11/26/25-11/30/25, unfortunately I wasn’t feeling the vibe so I didn’t get to check in on 11/26/25, but on 11/27/25 and I checked in. However, I was still charged for 11/26/25 and that’s not fair. I will not be ready for that Hotel experience again.

When checking in the young man at the front desk could not find my “reservations” and informed me that I had to call Expedia to have them send over the information. My question is why did I have to call? Where is the customer service? Second problem was during my stay there was no hot water the very next day. A different young man gave me a key to room #904 and told me that I could use the room to shower because the maintenance man had not arrived yet. Go to room #904 and someone suitcase is lying on the bed. The room is currently occupied. WTH. Go back downstairs and inform him of the situation and his response is “what do you mean”. Really!!!! Now I am given room #1001 to use for showering and thank goodness it’s not occupied. Later on go downstairs to the front desk again and the maintenance man is there, therefore, I explained the situation regarding not having hot water. The maintenance response is that the hot water would not be fixed today. So my options are to move to room #1001 or continue to go upstairs and shower. Both options are inconvenient to me because I would have to pack up all my things and move up there and in the morning I am lugging all of my toiletries and clothes to take a shower. All I can say is that you can’t make this stuff. The hotel itself is a nice hotel and very close to the boardwalk and beach. The only issue I had with the room itself is that there isn’t much lighting at all in the room. The staff is very incompetent and inexperienced.

Upon arrival, another guest had walk away from the counter to address something with her party. I walked up to the counter just for my parking pass and he made me wait while she went outside, came back and finished her transaction. The halls were filthy. We had no guide to how to get to regular channels and had no hot water last night or this morning.

The hotel is very close to Ocean Blvd and the wheel. Meaning, within walking distance of Ocean Blvd. Also, one can see all of the “happenings” on Ocean Blvd from the hotel balcony. The property is ocean view and NOT ocean front.

There was a storm and the window was leaking. We had to change 2 rooms and had similar issues.

This property was very close to the beach/amusement area. We had a view of the beach as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was okay but for the price it was great! Would stay here again.

The beach was amazing everyday, the view from our room/balcony was amazing. Staff was very polite and respectful , and knowledgeable. Definitely would stay again when we return . It has everything you could ask for including a pool.

Decent hotel. Certain areas are in need of an update. The pool looked very shabby and the hot tub was closed (the reason I booked the hotel was to use the hot tub)

Front desk staff was very friendly, attentive and informative. My only issue was with the shower head and the low water pressure. This was in a 4th floor room.

Good experience staying at The Aqua Beach Inn. Parking spaces were kind of tight but there was additional overflow parking which helped. Beds were made neat, bathroom tub and counters were clean. Kitchenette area was clean. Dishes are provided. You have to wash the dishes if you use them. If you do not, you will be charged additional fees. My only gripe was the floors. They were in extreme need of mopping. I took a shower, walked on the floors for maybe 20 minutes and my feet were black on the bottom. Only suggestion I have is that they mop the floors. Other than that, this hotel provided enough accommodations for one to enjoy their stay.

For the price!! A very nice stay at the Aqua Beach Inn.. The hotel is right across the street from the beach. Next to shopping and restaurants. The pool did look like it needed some work. Rooms were clean.. Would definitely stay again for the price and convenient.

Very close to beach and nice that there's a full size fridge. Hot water was quick and plentiful. Wood in room is warped from moisture. Check in was slow. Clerk wandered around the lobby while I stood at the counter with my luggage. Finally, I asked if he worked there and he said "are you checking in?".... Should've seemed obvious

I wouldn't stay here again. Hotel is not maintained, didn't feel the safest, the key card reader kept making noise at night, lots of random noises coming from the hotel. Most of the staff was friendly, one of them maybe a little too friendly. It's was okay for 2 nights, biggest perk was the location, walking distance to beach and foodery. Sand everywhere, there was a dirty towel left in the room making me wonder what else they missed

Hotel was clean! Very cool entrance and lobby. Pool was funky but still fun. Spa was broken. View of ocean and Ferris wheel is beautiful. Great location. Friendly employees. Beds comfy! Only one elevator, but never too long a wait. No smoking, even on the balcony, that kinda sucked.

This hotel is three rows from the beach. It’s close to some little shops and restaurants. It’s an excellent location for the price. It also had a tiny kitchen and appeared clean. In all honesty, we did not spend the night there because I only booked a room so we could shower off from the beach before driving home. There were four of us, but only two towels in the room. So that was disappointing since the room would accommodate four (2 queen beds). However the front staff was less than helpful so we didn’t bother him to ask for more.

First room smelled like weed so bad we couldn’t stay in there. Second room - patio door didn’t lock, tub and sink both didn’t drain. Horrible hotel

Worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. Walls a paper thin and had to listen to the couple next door fight cuzz and shove stuff all room into early morning hours, and first thing in the morning. We didnt know if they were going to crash thru the adjacent door to our room. Then there was the loud base poinding music at nearby establishments going on into early morning. Don't fall for the low price, pay extra and have a relaxing safe environment.

Considering that I saved half the price of ocean front hotel, Aqua was definitely worth it. 1 block from beach & could see ocean clearly from balcony. Free parking and excellent location near multiple attractions. Negatives: 1 elevator to accommodate 11 floors and cleaning staff, clean but saw old stains on linen, no daily housekeeping service, had to take out trash and get clean towels from front desk, beach towels not provided.

The location is amazing, near all the places. The view in the night is stunning. Staff is friendly. The only con is the building is a bit old and as it was rained so much during our stay, the room get a bit wet.

Overall not bad. Did not like the $150 surprise safety deposit. Room was average.

Hotel was right in the middle of EVERYTHING, and super close to the beach. The room was pretty clean aside from dirt/sand on the floor and dressers, but shower and beds were very clean.

The only thing that I didnt like is the tv blutooth wouldnt work with my youtube or Pandora, it did at first but went out and the tv kept flickering not qble to open up the youtube application.

Art work is so fun, beautiful, and inviting. Hotel was clean and free of bad smells… unlike some beach hotels I’ve been to. Great experience overall!

Comfy rooms

People are front desk, allowed using foul language in front of guests, which was not appropriate for my kids to be hearing. Dishes were dirty when there’s a sign that says dishes have to be clean.

We loved the location of this hotel. It was a very nice room. The only problem was there was almost no water pressure in the shower. After coming from the beach it was hard to get clean.

Property is dated but clean. Took a $150 deposit for a $147 one night stay, which makes no sense. Room was clean but property and room was dated and needed some minor repairs.

The room was clean, decently sized, and included a balcony and kitchenette, making it a good value. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are many restaurants nearby. The beach is two short blocks away and can be seen from the rooms.

This property is about a block or 2 from the beach. It was convenient to restaurants and the boardwalk.

There were a few cleanliness issues and I’m still waiting on my deposit back but the area is near all the fun.

One complaint - when you left the room the electronic door lock did not lock. If you pushed on the door it would open without key. From the inside you could lock with interior flip for safety.

The room was clean and pretty updated and the location was great. It's in the middle of the action and walkable to everything. also, the view is pretty nice. The hotel common areas are run down and dirty. The pool looked gross. Overall even though it had it's nice parts I don't recommend it.

The hotel is in the perfect location if you don't have a car. There are many restaurants, amusements, the beach across the street, a pizza shop past the sky wheel to grab subs to pack in a cooler for the beach. There's a mini mart in front of the hotel to purchase beer/wine and snacks to store in your fridge, also a fantastic pancake house next door to the mini mart. None of the locals know of the Entertainment Express! It's a FREE trolley (during the summer) that follows a specific route 11am-11pm. It takes you to entertainment locations such as Broadway at the beach, The Wax Museum, Ripley's, etc. The bus/trolley picks up at the sign in front of the Yachtsman hotel across the street from ABI. You can even track the bus if you google the name. It picks up about every hour. You can rent 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella for $50 a day on the beach to the right, each consecutive day a cheaper rate. Next time we will purchase 2 chairs and an umbrella for the week and gift them when we leave (much cheaper). The top 3 floors have excellent views of the ocean, skywheel, and the activity below. It gets pretty interesting when the sun starts to go down :D The room was very spacious and the kitchen was greatly appreciated. We thought the beds were very comfortable and we slept well with the a/c constantly on. Although the water pressure wasn't the highest on the 11th floor, showers were hot and did the job. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. An excellent lower $ hotel.

I’m giving a 4 star rating due to the towels. They are very thin and small. Over all great place and I would recommend to all friends.

We had a great stay and were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and welcoming the hotel was. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and well-appointed, and the location was convenient for everything we needed. The only downside was the pool and surrounding area, which seemed dirty and unkept during our visit. It took away from what could have been a perfect relaxing moment. That said, everything else was wonderful, and we would definitely consider staying again—hopefully with some improvements made to the pool area.

Came down for my birthday trip and i must say i definitely enjoyed my stay. Easy check in, got a room where i wanted it, and staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back!

Overall we had a nice stay and enjoyed being close to popular activities. Checking in went smoothly the staff is friendly. Our porch door handle was broken which I had to make note of in fear my deposit money for the room wouldn’t be refunded. Thanks for having us!

everything was just OK. nothing fancy about this place, but relatively clean. However, we stayed for a weekend, and we never had maid service. It’s a busy area and the streets are pretty loud at night, but the price for this hotel was very reasonable.

Service was excellent! The staff was very friendly. The lobby is clean and welcoming. The furniture in the rooms are not in the best condition but it is clean. The beds were a little hard for our liking but overall the quality for the price we paid was expected. The view was perfect and right in the middle of the action.
