Holiday Pavilion Resort on the Boardwalk

It is clearly an older hotel so it’s okay. Nothing fancy. The downside is it is very clearly a hotel for families so forget about a relaxing float in the lazy river. Kids were using it as a racetrack to chase each other and the parents were extremely polite but their answer was telling their kids to, “pay attention and say excuse me.” There was nothing relaxing or lazy about the lazy river. Then there was the party going on in the room below us. Extremely loud music and smoking weed on the balcony with the second hand smoke getting sucked in through our A/C intake. We had to shut the A/C off because it was effecting my asthma. I had balcony-to-balcony contact asking them to turn it down and they feigned inability to hear me. After blowing me kisses and gesturing heart shapes with their hands. I called front desk at 12:15 a.m. or so, and got a call 10 mins later saying security heard nothing. It was still going on and don’t know how they didn’t hear it! The next night more smoke coming in the A/C vent. It’s “no smoking” hotel but they can’t control balcony behavior.

Awkward, confusing entrance to lobby, had to unload everything in a crowded, tiny lot then park 2 blocks away. Check-in asked for ID for second guest outside in the car waiting (have never experienced that before) and other personal info I thought Expedia already had plus every single detail about your car. Creepy, dank hallway. Supposed to be ocean view but very noisy pool (until after 11pm) was in the way so couldn't open curtains to see view. Floor literally made my white socks dirty, yikes. Old carpet, bathroom, furnishings etc and had odd smell. Like it hasn't been updated since the early 1980s. Bed was made-up fine (only positive). I observed many indicators from check-in and nearby restaurants that crime is obviously a problem in the area, which I was not aware of previously. Had to worry all night about car parked in the open (no gates) two blocks away. Hotel is right next to amusement rides where people scream. Did not know Myrtle Beach was such a noisy, unsafe party town. Wanted to get out of the hotel asap and will never return to Myrtle Beach.

Great room with a balcony facing the ocean! Room had a full size fridge and a 2 burner stove...pools were clean and more than 1 option. Right on the boardwalk...awesome location. Would definitely stay there again

The hotel was within walking distance to several restaurants and venues .It was right next to the ferris wheel.We liked the fact that you could choose between outdoor and indoor pools.It was an enjoyable stay.

Two old timers here 62 and 63 both first time in MB. We picked Holiday Pavilion Resort on the Boardwalk during the week with a great price. The drive was great from Goldsboro NC. Parking for registration is also good with multiple spaces for that purpose. My husband is handicap and my complaint there is not enough handicap spaces ….. I counted 5….. and only in the lot close to the building. There are multiple lots ….across the road but no handicap spots that we saw. Check In was fast and easy. As we were leaving two others reported that their cars were broken into in the garage. We were happy that we moved our car. Our room was large and we were surprised there was a kitchen with oven stove and large refrigerator. Our view was facing the water and it was beautiful. Three complaints about room: the door would not close and lock without slamming it sometimes multiple times. We heard others slamming doors all night and we assumed they had the same issue we had. The room smelled like mold and mildew until we turned on the ac unit. Entire complex was not as handicap ready as we thought. Scooters are not ideal. It was hard to get scooter into the room and no beach access for scooter. Pool was great with a poolside bar plus two additional pools and a hot tub. Boardwalk is right outside gate with access to Beach and walking to stores and attractions. We don't have the energy we used to have so we did not have a lot to do.

The hotel room served its purpose and was close to where we needed to be. We had a few issues trying to stream movies with the internet but most may not have issues. Small tv issue when we got there but hotel staff quickly brought brand new tv to room. Staff were super nice and helpful. Living room next to balcony didn’t stay as cool but overall no big issues with the stay.

Staff was wonderful and very helpful. Nice outdoor pool area with Tiki Bar. Bar staff amazing. Only negative was carpet in room had maybe not been cleaned in a while. If you walk around barefoot, bottom of feet get completely black. Bring shower shoes. We made sure washed bottom of feet before got in bed. With such a high turnover location, probably had to have down time for deep cleaning. Rest of room was very clean.

There is no WiFi for the tvs and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The pool was clean and easy access to the strip

The staff is very friendly, the location is amazing, there are high railings on the balcony (so, child safety), the pools are all open. I had no complaints at all. Everything was amazing. Even when I placed an order, they let the deliver know where to place my order

The location and pools were fantastic It said it sleeps 6 and it definitely wasn't set up to accommodate that many people. We were mossing a sofa bed it said it had and the other bed was a Murphy bed out of the wall. This bed had seen better days in general and the headboard area looked like it needed a scrub.. Then it was a sofa not a sofa bed. The beds were fresh but the floors felt somewhat damp/tacky.

As we arrived, the attendant that was helping us wasn’t very nice. There was an older gentleman that was did state will be right with us, but no one else really was there to help with questions when we were helped. The young lady asked if we’ve been there before we said no she did say well welcome but then not very helpful. The room was decent when we would go down and ask for more coffee. It was like pulling teeth, wasn’t very nice you know would we visit Myrtle Beach again probably not.

Our two queen bed efficency tower ocean front room was perfect. Full size refrigerator, microwave, stove, cabinets fully stocked. Listening to the waves while in the bed was so relaxing. 👍

Convenient location, steps away from the beach, boardwalk, shopping, restaurants entertainment. On site Starbucks. Comfy beds and spacious rooms. Cons: Very dated. Rooms & bathrooms need to be refurbished. Elevator flooring loose. (Potential fall hazard) Bath soap provided is the size of a sliver dollar! No liquid bath soap provided.

Clean room, carpet was moist, parking was ok but we had to have a tag to park. After coming back from dinner, many cars were parked there without tags and hotel staff did nothing. We ended up parking a couple blocks away. Outdoor pool was nice, view from balcony was beautiful

The beach was right outside my room.

The hotel is in a great location on the beach. One drawback is the noise from the street was very loud. There are many dining options on the main road the building is on.

The whole experience at the hotel was great with friendly and helpful staff. The tropical bar is the best in the area with 1st class barmen. I would say you would be mad not to stay here for a family holiday/vacation for a more personal touch. Me and my family have lived our time there.

Checking in was VERY slow and the guy at the front desk had an attitude about something. The tv in our room didnt work and neither did the phone or the bathroom door. Having said that, the location was very convenient and we really enjoyed the lazy river and outdoor bar. Parking near the hotel was always full so we had to park several blocks away and I didn’t like that much

Great location, right on the boardwalk within walking distance to food, entertainment & attractions. On-site bar at the pool with seating to see the ocean. Drinks were good. Clean room with full refrigerator, stove, utensils, dishes, pots & pans for cooking. Table & chairs in room to eat at. Bed was very comfortable. Oceanfront room with balcony view of pool & ocean. Check-in was quick & easy. Parking is across the street, no long walk, literally across the street from the hotel. 2nd time staying there, will use again

Good decent hotel. Great location on Boardwalk and beach. Room was clean. (Bring a wall block because there's no usb slots in the room at all). Pools and jacuzzi was clean and nice. Cute little taki bar by the pool area. I would definitely stay here again.

Indoor hot tub room for 10 people and lazy river

We had a great time. Staff was extremely helpful. Room was clean. Only complaint was the shower head lol. Definitely for people under like 5'6 otherwise for the price it was a great option.

The location of the hotel is well centered, all amenities were in walking distance. The pool and beach was well enjoyed. The only thing disliked was the parking, difficult to find a space later in the night. Otherwise, everything else was great.

The oceanfront rooms in the lowrise building were easy to access and we had an excellent view of the ocean on the 2nd floor. The only issue we had was the doors being very noisy when they close. The people in the room next to us opened their door at least then times in two hours after midnight so we didn't get much sleep. The cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful.

Pool seating was nice, and beach and boardwalk access just steps out the door.

Friendly staff, room was clean, called for maintenance for a simple issue and they came within 5mins of me contacting front desk. Receptionist at front desk was nice when checked in. Conveniently located near attractions and the skywheel where we had my daughter’s gender reveal.

Oceanfront View was Beautiful. Love that it's right on the Beach . Location is Great . Plenty of things to do within walking distance. The only complaint I have is that the hotel doesn't serve breakfast of any kind. No biggie due to restaurants in the area. Kid Friendly environment for sure !!

Pros: Common spaces were clean and staff was very friendly. Beach is very nice and pool was great. Didn’t have any trouble finding lounge chairs by the pool. Location is easy walking distance to touristy shops and restaurants. Cons: The rooms have not been maintained and are showing signs of age. Our room smelled terrible. All we could smell was mold/mildew constantly and sewage at random times throughout the 5 night stay. The couch was disgusting and had black stains on it which I assume are mold. The towels are tiny and feel like sandpaper and the shower is barely useable if you are over 5 ft tall. Rooms have a kitchen but the kitchen is poorly stocked. Hotel has a cafe but it only serves coffee and some snacks. Definitely need a car to get meals unless you want to only eat at a waffle or pancake house. There is no water filling station which never would have crossed my mind. I haven’t been to a single hotel in the last 10 years that didn’t provide drinkable water via bottles from housekeeping or a filtered filling station.

We got to our room the room was very outdated and dusty. Shower head not working. We went out to enjoy the broad walk and came back to cockroaches in the bathroom. We expressed our concerns to the front desk and no one would help us until the next shift. The upside is that the location is ideal.

The room was very clean. The only issue was the bathroom door could not close completely. Most of the staff was very friendly. My issue was the gentleman that checked us in. He was very surly. Seemed irritated that we reserved our room on Hotels.com. I asked about military discount, he said you booked with Hotels.com, your out of luck, I can't do a thing for you. Then smiled about it. The lady in the coffee shop could use some customer service skills as well. When you entered you felt rushed to get your stuff and get out. If you looked around she stared at you like you were a thief. The rest of the staff amazing, very helpful. Make sure to bring a credit card, they don't take cash. The pools were great, well maintained and temperature was perfect. Didn't get to use the hot tub, due to people staying in too long, drinking. All in all a good experience.

I booked another hotel and left this property an hour after checking in. It was SO LOUD, parking was impossible, everything felt ‘sticky’, and I didn’t feel super safe.

The room was clean but a bit outdated. It’s right on the main road so there is a ton of road noise. The pool are has no bathroom so you know all those kids are going in the pool.

Watching the sun rise every morning and hearing the waves crash at night was a gift. Very clean. Staff friendly. Beach access incredible. Many restaurants nearby to walk to. Beds are very firm - a thicker mattress pad would help that. Pillows were not in the best shape. We bought pillows from Walmart. Pool area is lovely but the daily afternoon music from the poolside tiki bar was extremely unenjoyable loud. We still had a nice time all in all.

The property is run down. The lock on the door had issues. The toilet ran constantly and had to giggle the handle. The shower dripped constantly leaving the bathroom floor wet. The safe did not work. The lamp shades are not only dated but filthy as well. No amenities such as coffee or water in lobby. The bed slopes and had to sleep in the middle in order not to roll off.

Not what I expected to be a resort. The room did not look as perfect like the picture online. I did not want to be on the side building We had to walk upstairs to 3rd floor. I rather been in the main building…I’ve gotten my car towed because I did not know where to park thought I parked in the right place. The outdoor pool was wonderful for my kids.

The stove wasn’t working properly, check in lady was rude, wasn’t true sea view, hot tub never worked, the list goes on.

I’ve never left a bad review, but this is easily the worst service I’ve experienced. The rooms and amenities were not at all as advertised. The room was filthy. We arrived with dirty sheets and could not get housekeeping to change them. The wires to the television were hanging out and rusted. The balcony door would not latch and lock which was a huge safety concern because we were traveling with children. I saw multiple great reviews when I booked, but I’m honestly not sure how. I did attempt to address all of my concerns with hotel staff and management. The sent maintenance to fix the lock, said it was fixed, and it still was not. Housekeeping came by and said the would not change sheets until we had been there 4 days and left. I spoke with management again. They would not offer a refund and said they were booked with no other rooms available. The only plus side was the location being directly on the beach and boardwalk, however, for safety concerns, lack of service, and unclean rooms I would NOT recommend staying here.

The room was a nice size but the room had some plumbing issues that flooded the bathroom out our last night there. Was not able to take a shower before we left because the carpet was soaked with feces. The pool area was nice besides the teenagers entering throughout the night

Great Vacation location

This is a 2 star hotel at max. Pool is ok. Hotel smells bad and is outdated. Not a family friendly place. All you smell is weed smoke and a lot of shady characters lurking around. I was advised by many locals not to go out at night. I wouldn’t even let my wife walk to the Starbucks in the lobby alone. Had someone follow us to our room and almost had an altercation. Like I said not family friendly. In college and want to go on vacation with a bunch of the boys? Perfect place.

I was highly disappointed in this resort. The rom was clean but smelled. Carpet definitely needs to be changed. Parking is horrible!!!! The only thing I can say was GREAT was the staff. Will not be returning

The staff did not clean the room! They were supposed to come clean the room, the beds, etc. and they never came. We always asked them twice during the week and they said they would, but never did! Horrible service.

Yes, it was amazing. We had most definitely gotten th e best room. We were able to see the beach and the main area. The place was very clean. The staff who gave us the room were so kind, as were the other staff members.

The lounge chairs by the pool are very comfortable. The Tiki Bar was fun, but needed to stay open later. We loved staying here, just wish they offered breakfast because food on Ocean Blvd is outrageous. Would stay again.

We had an awesome room on the corner facing the beach. Our room had a kitchen with an oven and full size refrigerator. It was such a bonus to have that! We also loved the Murphy bed in the living room. The housekeeping staff was top notch and the bar tender at the tiki bar is the BEST! The location is also so convenient!

The property and the staff were great. The pool area was really nice. The rooms were nice. Here's the thing though... If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place for you...There were A LOT of children. Young screaming children. From morning to night in the pool area. If you don't mind that, then this is definitely the place for you.

Room and staff were really good. Wish we would have been up atleast one more floor, (2 floor). The palm trees were in the way of ocean view, pool area was just below and that was noisy.

Great ocean view from our room. Right in the middle of a lot of stores, restaurants and attractions. Checkin was easy. Staff very courteous. Room was clean. Shower stall looked brand new. Our room had a small kitchen with stive and fridge. Even had dishes and utensils to cook and eat with. Spa and pool areas very well kept. They do require a clean room deposit that is returned after checkout as long as the room is clean, dishes washed, counters clean, etc. We had a great visit and look forward to booking with them again.

Oceanfront view was fabulous and balcony was spacious. The property is older but everything is very clean. Having a heated indoor pool, hottub/spa, and lazy river in addition to a heated outside pool with bar is great through all the seasons.

I booked through Expedia, went to check in and was told there was no vacancy. Instead of a refund, I was offered nothing and me and my children were left with nowhere to sleep after a 7 hour drive there. Expedia nor the hotel were helpful. I spent 2 hours trying to resolve the issue but was told nothing could be done because the hotel kept hanging up on the Expedia agent.

Ww only stayed 1 night, I wanted to hear the ocean as I slept and see in the morning. The staff was friendly, the room was very clean and decently appointed. We checked in late and checked out early so didn't do more than sleep and shower. The person at the Starbucks was kind enough to sell us coffe before opening at 7: 00. It was a pleasant experience.

This was a very enjoyable stay. It's right on the boardwalk and the beach. Nice kitchen and had a separate bedroom from the living room. Only negative was the bed. Soft and kind of worn out.

The only restaurant/lounge was a tiki bar outside. Not open. Lazy river wasn't heated. Pool and spa were heated.

Room neglected. Tv stopped working a couple times, most plugs didn't work. Front desk staff not as accommodating once she found out we booked through a third party. Pool area down to repairs. Over all place is a dump. Would not recommend.

Lack of amenities and staff wasn’t responsive

Came down to Myrtle Beach to celebrate our wedding for one night. The receptionist, Dee, at check-in was proficient and friendly. Latoya, our cleaning lady left the room very clean for us. The maintenance men promptly came to fix our telephone.

Loved the hot tub and lazy river! The staff was also amazing.

We were put in the 3 story over flow building next to the tower and the that changed our experience from times we have stayed here before. The building doesn't have an elevator and you have to walk across the parking lot to get to the pool. Not a big deal if you knew that was the building you were staying in but I didn't like the surprise. I probably would have stayed somewhere else if I had known.

The amenties were great. There were not too many people crowding pool area which was an absolute plus. The room was a little tight in entry way but overall space good for me and my girls for overnight a longer stay woupd have not been big enough. View was perfect. Staff was nice and check in was fast. We checked in Christmas Day!

Excellent hotel

Room was clean, but they expected you to clean dishes without dish soap, the bed was scratchy, and the tv does not have smart tv capabilities. The hot tub has tiles falling off and there are no nozzles on the pvc jets so the bubbles go straight up and push a ton of water out of the tub and make it hard to sit near the edges. The pool and the lazy river were nice and heated, but there was a window missing to keep the humidity down, but the cold winter air ŵas jarring each time you pass it on the lazy river. Great location, tiki bar was even open on Saturday. May stay again if some upgrades are made.

The indoor pool area was nice. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. Conveniently close to everything!

Entering the room required a very firm butt bump to open the door as it sticks and is very heavy. Exiting the room would be almost impossible for someone elderly. The toilet runs continually, so when you try to flush it, there is no water in the tank and it always required 2 flushes. I tried to use the phone in the room to call the front desk and when they answered, they could not hear me. I used my cellphone to call and report the toilet issue and the phone issue. Neither were ever addressed during our 4 day stay. We tried to use the oven but there were no numbers on the knobs or the stove to identify what the knobs controlled or the temperature for the oven. So, I turned what I thought was the oven knob by process of eliminating the burner dials, but it never turned on and did not heat. We came home after a show one evening and all the handicapped spaces were taken. A security guard sent us to park across the street, but allowed another vehicle to park in a temporary registration space for the night. Finally, I found 2 very small roaches on the bath mat in the EXTREMELY small bathroom one morning. DEFINITELY find another location to stay, This hotel would be a NEVER again location.

Everything was beautiful, this is a place I will definitely come back to. The view was absolutely amazing and the beach access was wonderful. It was rainy and cold but it was still beautiful. The only issue we had was that our television would not work and we could not get an answer from the front desk. If I can, I will rebook for my grandchildren's spring break in April. They will love it!!!

Very easy check in. We arrived quite early, but they were very accommodating and got us checked in with no issues. Everything including parking instructions was clear. Room was very clean and the beds were most comfortable. Best part was the location. Right next to the boardwalk and beach.

The hotel was lovely. parking was a bit tricky, and we had to park a couple of blocks north of the hotel. We were right in the heart of Myrtle Beach with in walking distance of pier and shopping, we really enjoyed our stay. Room was clean, staff was welcoming. They have a small cafe for a cost, we went to Friendly's for breakfast, it was yummy.

Room was very clean. Hallway was a different story. Every day there was what I assumed as “dog hair” in clumps in the hall way. Our room was very clean, no issues whatsoever.

We had room 201 (separate king bedroom suite) toin the tower, so our balcony view was obstructed by a big palm tree, so I would choose a room higher up. The grounds and buildings were very clean and well manicured. We liked the clean pools and jacuzzi, too. We will definitely book here when we visit again next fall.

Amenities and location were great. With the boardwalk you have plenty of restaurants and entertainment within walking distance. The staff was friendly and attentive and the room was clean.

We were there in November and there was lots of noise starting at 6 am. We couldn’t sleep.

Amenities were nice, housekeeping staff was very friendly and accommodating. Desk service needs improvement. The two women at check in were rude and condescending but other front desk staff friendly.

Everything was really nice and clean, check in check out was easy, loved all the pools, especially the lazy River, all the outdoor amenities, and really liked the access to the boardwalk and beach…we will be back

We love staying here, especially sitting in the heated pool and the regular pool. The regular pool was a bit cold it could've been a little warmer since it cold outside. Overall, we love coming here to unwind.

The room was ok, the microwave didn't work properly, the fridge bottom part kept falling off every time you open the door, the tv speakers sounded terrible. I booked with expedia, and it said beach view, and my view was towards the parking lot, anyway it wasn't that bad.

Parking was a nightmare and the rooms were dated but clean and quiet, surprisingly. When we saw a group of college kids next to us and the loud party outside of the hotel we thought it would be so loud but we never heard a thing. We would definitely stay again. Rooms do need more outlets though, was super difficult to charge 2 phones at the same time haha

If you book partial view you are in the side building which is equivalent to a motel . If I was staying longer I would have changed rooms but wasn’t worth the hassle . The pool and beach access are beautiful and convenient.

We had never been to Myrtle beach. The experinve we had with all the workers and the tourist was amazing. We WILL be making this a yearly trip

The room was clean, however the fact it was promoted as an in kitchen unit, it hardly had any kitchen supplies. Only one steak knife, no cooking utensils, it definelty lacked your badic cooking needs. Also they did not inform of where there was additional parking. Almost had our vehicle towed.

We love the vinyl plank flooring (7th floor). No more carpet...Good prices at Tiki Bar...

Hotel was great couldn’t ask for better

The hot tub had cat feces in it and the refrigerator did not work - causing our groceries to spoil. There was also a day we did not have hot water in one of our rooms and one evening there was a strong propane smell that we could smell from inside our room. We contacted the front desk 3 times before anyone came out to check and it turned out that the grill propane tank in the courtyard had been left open. Parking was a bit limited in the front lots, and we had to park in the lot a couple blocks away. This was fine during the day but at night it was not lit and gave us an unsafe feeling. Overall, it was an okay stay with family, but for the price, we would probably not stay here again.

Oceanview is amazing. The staff was absolutely amazing. We have never been to Myrtle Beach...we WILL be going back and we WILL be stayi g at Holiday Pavillion.

The room was clean. Staff was great. Only complaint was the bed had a dip in it and was uncomfortable. Eveything else was great. Close to everything.

check in was awkward, as it was on 2nd floor. parking options were also strangely confusing and not clear but all across the street and very tight spots. did not know about refreshment store which was on 2nd floor across from checkin desk (all items cost to purchase). exercise room was on 3rd floor (again awkward location). room could have been cleaner, very musty, doors not sealed well allowing outside air in room. nice large full size refrig and microwave/stove. nice view of beach from balcony (was on 6th floor). tv remote did not offer sleep timer or it did not work. limited plug in outlets in room. elevator safety was nice (have to use room card to access floors above 2nd). would probably stay somewhere else next time. weather was not great-so did not check out pool or outside seating options. tiles were super slippery from pool to elevator-high risk for falls.

Great room right on the beach next to pier 14 and the SkyWheel. Plenty to do within walking distance with short drives to the Boardwalk and Mall if you wanted to go in town. Indoor pool facilities were great if you need a break from the sun, the lazy river is a nice touch.

This hotel was in a great location with easy access to the beach and pools. The rooms were a little dated and parking was not convenient having to drive through 4 different parking areas up to 2 blocks away from the hotel to park and unload your luggage.

This place was great! Beautiful view from our balcony, and the location was really convenient. We swam in all three pools and walked the beach every day. Id will definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed a quick little weekend getaway here. I loved everything from the lazy river to the tiki bar. The only downside was the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but I didn’t spend much time in it. Location is perfect close to everything.

There were about 6 items that I reported on upon leaving however I think that they will be corrected and we plan on returning and staying there once again. I don't know who is to clean the ashtrays on the boardwalk but many of them on the entire walk were over filled.

Right in the middle of myrtle, right on the beach/next to pier 14, and right beside the sky wheel. The room was comfy and well cleaned, the pools were so much fun, the only downside was the parking and no complimentary breakfast. There was barely any room to park and unload luggage, as their parking lots go down about 2 blocks.

Quick Trip the staff was great, room was clean i will be back soon.

Perfect! My husband and I celebrated a belated anniversary, and my birthday just so happen to fall in 1 of the days we were there. So many shopping/dining/fun activities, we couldn't get through them all. The Gay Dolphin is a MUST SEE store. You can actually spend all day there. Our favorite by far! HOWEVER...when heading to the beach, take note, the chairs/umbrella are for rent, which we didn't know bc there's no signs stating otherwise.

Kind of strange...lobby is on the 2nd floor and parking lot is across the street. Our room was next to the hotel...wasn't attached. Small bathroom. Very convenient to beach, boardwalk, shopping, rides, restaurants and pier. Great trip.

The location and view were great. On-site parking was mostly blocked off when we arrived, which made the check-in process a bit difficult. The room could use some updates, but it was nice to have a small kitchen and a full-size refrigerator. Overall, we enjoyed our stay

Ocean view was beautiful and kids liked the pools.

The area is great for walking to almost everything. The halls smelled of mildew. All parking is across the street as they have only drop off spots in front of the hotel and those are taped off so they can't be used. Beds were ok. Balcony view is blocked by palm fronds. Hotel is a good value for the price you pay tho. Pools were nice. The hot tub walls were crumbling from the jets.

Although the Holiday is a little dated, it is very well maintained. The location was perfect for what we wanted. On the beach, close to the shops and park on the boardwalk, 2 pools, a tiki bar and coffee shop...what more do you need! We would definitely go back.

No bathrooms near the pool. You have to go to the second floor to use a restroom. The area was sketchy. We were told by three local couples not to stay on Ocean Blvd after dark. Other areas of Myrtle Beach are nicer: Broadway at the Beach is one of them!

Had a wonderful time the room smelled so good and was very clean even the floors were clean and most of the hotels floors are not cleaned but this one was cleaned cuz I always take and clean the floors but didn't have to at this hotel the only thing I seen I didn't really like was the couch at spots on the back where people put their head at so I took some towels and covered it up with their towels not only do I really look for a wonderful smell clean room I also love to sit on the balcony and watch the ocean and this hotel I could do that any time without smelling cigarettes or marijuana and that's what I really loved cuz at other hotels we weren't able to sit out there cuz of the smell especially with little ones with me will be back to stay

On the stand in our room there were dirty prints, housekeeping clean with oil and not disinfectant! We did not use table!

It was close to the ocean

The Holiday Pavilion is the place we stay when we go to Myrtle. It has become our go-to for beach stays.

When I book the I didn't see where it didnt say it wasn't handicap we had to drag our luggage up three flight stairs went I ask I was inform no elevator I washing offer to change room I have some who couldn't hardly walk so we had to stand in back and help her up three flight of stair , the bathroom door wouldn't close the sink was stop up it was clean.

I will most certain be staying again.

We loved our 1 night stay here and appreciated the free parking, lazy river, free chairs/umbrellas on the beach, pool bar and best of all the location. The rooms were spacious and clean and this was in a great location within walking distance to anything you could ask for. The kids loved the beach, pool, hot tub and lazy river and we got the most bang for our buck here and would definitely stay here as a family again. Thank you!

A bit outdated but nice pools, rooms were nice ,staff very friendly.

Good, not great. It is outdated and the pictures make the rooms look better than they are. Our room and floor we stayed on were pretty clean however. Some of the common areas (like the bathroom on the second floor were not super clean, but they are used by a lot of people). And the staff were all very friendly and accomodating which made up for it. Other than that, the location is great. Lots of things within walking distance - restaurants, shopping, entertainment (arcades, rides, sky wheel), and you can’t get much closer to the beach than this place! I also can’t stress enough how awesome it was to have both indoor and outdoor pools available for use, especially when the beach was too hot or the ocean waves were too vigorous to swim in. We felt relatively safe here, however, there are unhoused people that hang out (and sleep) along the boardwalk and our friends did hear a fight/assault take place right outside the hotel. Beware of your surroundings just like any other place you would travel to, and you should be fine!

Location was great, a big plus. Only negative was the hotel doesn't have a nice big lobby or offer free breakfast, other than that it wasn't a bad deal for the money.

The pictures online did not match what our room looked like. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our toilet was broken when we got there but maintenance was able to fix it in a timely manner. The outside pool was very nice. The grounds were well kept

our room wasn’t ready until 6:30 pm. We had scheduled arriving after 4 so there wouldn’t be a problem getting in quickly. I had to ask for compensation , we were given 25$ to spend in thier bar or coffee restaurant. Not cool.
