    A bit far from the Grand Strand, but this makes it ideal for a busy time, such as Memorial Day. Besides, here you are close to Myrtle Beach State Park.

    Fire alarm went off 2 times during our 4 night stay ac unit very old...And believe it or not a guest helped break down the breakfast line..And the staff let him very odd...Only positive was the Waffle House right outside and ya can't beat the the location of the property easy access to all things Myrtle-Beach...

    Nothing Staff was rude. Put us in first room that had damage, trash. Switched us to a different room that had more damage than the first. Took lots of pictures of damage etc due to having to pay a $250.00 deposit for incidentals. Went down to talk to the desk and asked to speak to manager to get a refund. No manager on site. Was askes to send the pictures to the company email so we did. Desk worker was rude and proceeded to yell at us. Told us we needed to leave or they were calling the police. So we did. In the process of leaving my husband had fleas on him from being b in the room. Called back the next morning to speak to General manager and left message with the front end manager. Still have not recieved a phone call. Still have not recieved a refund for our stay that never happened. We were only there for a total of 30 minutes. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

We coughed the whole time we are in the room. After sleeping for a couple hours we all woke up wet Our clothes felt like we were super sweaty but it wasn’t hot. It was very unpleasant.     Our bathroom door handle was broken, and although we were told maintenance would return after hours to fix both the issue and address the smell, nothing was resolved. The lack of follow-through was frustrating. On top of that, the customer service especially from a staff member named Hailey was very unprofessional and unpleasant, which made the experience even worse. For a stay costing over $400, this was completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to avoid this property.

    Staff were very friendly and helpful! The suite was spacious, comfortable and included a microwave and fridge. Very close to restaurants Broadway at the beach, Target/Walmart/TJ Maxx everything is no more than 6-8 minutes away! Huge thank for to the breakfast staff! We went during spring break and they kept the food and drinks replenished with a smile on their face! There was a large crowd for breakfast every morning. Perfect location and perfect staff! I will stay again

    Upon arrival the Manager Michelle was very personable and she greeted me with a smile. The staff kept the continental breakfast fresh and the juice refilled. The front desk staff at checkout were nice. One of the young ladies took the time to explain they would check the room in a little while and release my deposit. The other young lady kept her head in the computer. I did not like that I booked through booking.com for the first time and did not know about the deposit for the facility.

    The breakfast had bruised fruit and waffle mix tasted stale. The location of hotel was a little unsafe as there was people hanging out near the back parking lot drinking and there was a pimp and their worker arguing in the parking lot on our 1st night. I didn’t like that the hallways with carpet as well as the rooms smelled like recent water damage along with stains.

    Room was easily accessible and a decent size for my needs I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast waffles & coffee each day The room wasn't as clean as it should have been. I was able to see evidence of previous renters such as pieces of their hair on the bed and trash between the bed/nightstand & bed/wall. The shower didn't remain hot during the entire stay. It was only hot the first night.

    The bed, pillows, and linens were clean and comfortable. Shower head was great, towels were good size and plentiful. There was ample supply of shower products and a good hair dryer. The space in the room was adequate for our family. The common areas were deeply dirty, the hotel smelled of weed throughout, and the elevator got stuck while we were in it. Lamp shades in room were all beat up or broken. Wood headboards looked like they had been beaten as well.

    This was not a great experience at all! Police on scene as we arrived for a disturbance - should have been a clue! The place smelled musty and there was mold evident in rooms. The service was not great either as we waiting for 15 minutes when we arrived for anyone to approach us, but there were staff members available just stating at us. We were close to just walking out! I also believe there were bugs in the room as I came home with large spider bites.

    Police responding as we pulled up should have been a clue! The whole place was musty smelling from the moment you walk in - worse in my room with mold growing in several areas.     My family and I checked in this hotel this past Saturday at 3:45 pm and check out at 4:05 pm because we did not want to sleep with insects and shower in a dirty bathroom. So if anyone wants that experience reserve a room at this hotel and wear a hazard suit if you do. Roaches will greet you at the door and the dining area chairs and table still has food on them from breakfast. It was the worst experience EVER! 10 out of 10 - DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

    First off they charge you an extra fee for booking with a third party, which is not stated anywhere on the email. The staff insisted it was even after I showed my confirmation without the fees. The fees range between $250-$175. The dinning area was small and it was packed during breakfasts. The breakfast was limited. The fire alarm went off on the early hours on the weekend and everyone had to evacuate. House keeping just took out the trash and did not completely clean the room/bed. There was noise all throughout the night from cars passing , people coming in the which made it difficulty to sleep. The bathrooms could use an update. For the price they charged it was not worth it, $500. Did feel comfortable here.

    The lady at the front desk was RUDEEE she was rude to customers and to her workers of different ethnicity. Paid 500$ for one night, really ridiculous, got to the hotel and there was fees charged that were not listed or told when booked.

    We were exhausted when we checked in. One of the rooms we rented had drug paraphernalia in the bathroom and drugs on the floor. Room was not cleaned yet they put us in it. We complained and was given another room that had slice marks in the paint on the room divider. Clearly a party hotel. Would not stay here again and made me think twice about staying at a Choice Hotel again. We were also charged a $250 room deposit per room since we used Expedia to book. Never again.

    I had reserved and paid for this room in advance for a truck drive that works for the company that I work for. When he arrive he was in for he would have to pay a $250 deposit plus an incidental fee. He did not have that much money so he was unable to stay at the hotel since he arrived late Due to his flight being delayed. There was no one available to help him with this issue. So the room went unused. If a deposit is required to stay in a room, it should be done with that room is reserved now when you arrive at the hotel.

    I knew I was responsible for a certain a amount but not a high deposit I advised the ladies that I just didn't know. I travel there for work. And if I would have known I would have cancelled this reservation. I couldn't get the money back for the room. It would be considered a No Show! If it wasn't for me calling my son who is in the Navy who sent me the money. I wouldn't have had anywhere to sleep. They were not bulging! I was traveling alone.. Which made it worse for me.. They knew and could tell I was very stressed and upset.. No urgency to help or even to waive deposit. I've always stayed at Comfort Suites but in this case if I have to return to Myrtle. I will not stay here again. No compassion nor courtesy was shown ... That's All it would have taken.... When I checked out.. I even cleaned my own room and shown her photos.. And lefted house keeping a few dollars. That's just how I do things!

    The Hotel was having issues with Hot Water and failed to advise of the issue at check-in. We booked the room for 3 nights, checked out early due to no hot water at all. We did not get a refund of money or security deposit back. All we were told was sorry about the water problem.

    This was for a girls weekend. The hotel needs some deep cleaning. The front desk staff was not helpful or friendly upon check in. The room itself had black like substance on the ceiling and windows. The bathroom door didn’t not shut properly and was peeling. The room had a musty smell and dampness to it. There are no beverage vending machines onsite even though indicated. The only thing that made it 3 stars are the beds were clean and comfortable.

    My wife and I stayed here for vacation and overall we liked the place. It was clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed. It isn’t right on the beach but it’s only a couple of minutes away. It’s very easy getting in and out of the hotel to go places with plenty of parking. Would recommend.

    The housekeeping staff was average at best. We requested a cleaning because of leftover sand from our beach trip, and there were a few grains remaining in the bathroom and on the carpet. The staff could have been a little more welcoming as well. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but there was a little left to be desired.

    Absolutely disgusting hotel! We planned a last minute trip to Myrtle Beach this was the best "decent hotel" available. I have seen motels cleaner than this. We checked in at 3:30 pm. The room smelled moldy on the 4th floor. We then spotted hair on the beds. we asked the hotel staff to change our room. They offered us another room only for us to realize it smelled the same! at- least there was no hair on the bed. We tried to focus on our trip and just deal with the bad smell and headed out to dinner. Upon our return when we opened the covers shockingly there was hair in this bed too!! We called the front desk to ask them if someone can please change the bedding sheet set. The only solution we got was pair of sheets. EXTREMELY nasty hotel!

    But wait…. You may have seen that the Choice Hotels website says there will be a $25 fee for early check in. It was 2:10 PM when we decided to try to check in and was indeed told it was considered early…and that it would be $50. Not $25 as the site says. No explanation was given as to the discrepancy. We said no thanks to paying an extra $50 to get in the room 50 minutes early. We returned to the lobby at 2:50 and they finally did let us check in fee-free! It just sends a very unwelcoming vibe to your customer to have money-grabbing policies like this when it’s very likely the room was ready regardless. As mentioned above, the room itself was fairly nice and clean. Ubers are pretty cheap and you are a 5 minute trip from Broadway at the Beach and 10 minutes drive from the boardwalk

    This place was very quiet and close to the beach and a lot of attractions. Breakfast is great and staff is so friendly and welcoming. A downside was that our rooms phone and microwave didn’t work and our kitchen sink didn’t have no hot water but the bathroom sink did. I had to wash my baby bottles in the bathroom sink which I didn’t like but managed if you’re a parent you know hot water is essential to washing bottles. Overall I would give this hotel a 4 star rating just because some things in our room didn’t work in our room!

    Room rate fits expectations for a 3 star hotel. It’s an older property but room was clean. The bed was mid range quality so wasn’t firm but wasn’t like a pillow top. Everything worked but looked worn. Breakfast was a step up from the standard continental and had scrambled eggs and sausage. Breakfast room attendants kept everything filled and clean.

    My husband and I arrived 30 minutes before check in and they wanted to charge a 25 dollar fee for early check in. The receptionist was rude and short talking. The room was roomy but smelled like urine. The bedding had stains on them. The bathroom wasn’t clean. My husband and I always bring cleaning materials so we cleaned up ourself. The bed was hard as a rock. The bed sits on a metal box that is bolt to the mattress. I love a firm bed but this bed was extremely hard. It felt like I was sleeping on cinder blocks. My body ached the next day. The remote to the tv didn’t work and the rude receptionist told my husband he had to come get the batteries himself if he wanted them. When checking out, the receptionist did not even ask how was our stay. I guess this is what you get when you don’t book with Embassy Suit, The Hilton, Holiday Inn or any other popular hotels

    Hotel was nice. Only downside is it’s next to a bar that plays really loud music late into morning. Bring earplugs if staying during a weekend. Other than that very nice. Great breast breakfast. Friendly staff. Would stay again.

    Do not stay here. The very definition of misrepresentation. Pictures of this hotel are false. They don’t show the dirty shower with rust in the tub and a clogged drain. Bugs on the counter. Mystery stains on the ceiling, ripped and frayed carpet, a ripped and stained couch and a swamp cooler ac that doesn’t work. Couldn’t sleep and didn’t want to touch anything in the bathroom. What a fantastic waste of money and put a huge damper on the entire weekend.

    When we got there they couldn’t find our reservation and then after finding it we get to our room and the floor look like it haven’t been cleaned in years. The cover had stains on it. The ceiling had water damage and the curtains had food particles all over it. The shower head in the bathroom had to be replaced. We took pictures and we told the front desk about it and have asked for a refund. We paid over $300 to lay in a dump! The manager has not contacted us back about getting us our money back and we talked to the supervisor of Expedia and they tried calling the hotel and couldn’t get them on the phone. The lady at the front desk gave us the email and personal number to reach the manager and STILL NO RESPONSE!!! At this point WE WANT OUR MONEY BACK ASAP! And unless there is no rooms available at all please don’t stay here!!!!!

    I had no shower curtain at all. The coffee pot was not cleaned. The old used packet was still in the dispenser. What else in the room didn’t get cleaned or sanitized from the previous stay? The furniture was old and worn. The king bed was broken in the middle and sank. Any movement during the night was noisy and uncomfortable—worse sleeping experience in years. The ATM in the lobby was out of order. The fitness room was closed, out of order, and used for storage. No staff at the desk the next morning to even complain to. Rang the bell…no response.

    Moldy smell in lobby. Room did not have a shower curtain for the shower. When asked to get one, was told they don't have and gave us extra towels to use to dry the floor. When complaining that there was no shower curtain to give us, was told we were rude and inconsiderate. Really?
