Great location - oceanfront view. Loved our condo and the staff was amazing. Every request was met quickly and competently. No issues. We will return!!!!

Great customer service...we had just left the North Shore Ocean Resort where we walked in out room to find bed bugs..we immediately left and found Atlantic Ocean Resort..they were very accommodating and very clean!

Staff is very rude. My daughter got very sick and we were running a little bit behind and charged me for a full day because of the late checkout by 20 minutes.

The resort is clean but doesn't provide any entertainment, and much of anything. But they will address any maintenance concerns. I would only stay again if I wasn't left with more feasible options.

This place is amazing we choose this over the closer to us ocean city md, we left early due to a family emergency. Destiny contacted us and understood our situation and ws a huge help. Thank you so much

The unit was clean and smelt sterile. The view from the balcony was amazing and the staff were nice. We had super easy access to the beach and pool all day!

Travel with family, the view of the oceanfront is very good but the kitchen amenities is very poor (no paper tower, no sponge to wash dishes, the condo has dishwasher)

This place was perfect for the entire family vacation. The kids and the adults all had their own rooms. The quick access to the beach and the pools were all HUGE hits. We would definitely consider staying here again if we take another MB trip.

Accommodations were great!

So I think this hotel is super accustomed to a not so honest clientele. 1st- I called ahead as per my usual and let them know I was on our way. (It was myself, my son and his BFF, both boys under 12, and I booked it like this) when I did I requested extra pillows and Blankets for the room, and was told to just request when in the room; which was no issue at all. However, after hanging up with the lady at the front, she called back and said she heard a dog in my car ( my dog was at home with my mother and is a 110lbs Shepard that is a protection dog and highly trained, but I do not bring her on these vacations ever) I politely told the lady that Nope No dog (I was 1 hour into my 3.5 hour trip at the time) She then proceeded to tell me the entire policy on dogs and I said I have no dog but you are making me nervous. ( I said this because usually properties that have had a lot of “trouble” in them usually are the only ones that feel the need to recite complete policy to customers. Mind you I got 4 emails from the property about their policies prior to this. Then we get there and get into room, it was not well cleaned, but I paid for this through hotels.com so it is what it is. I asked for additional blankets and pillows only to be met with a huge ordeal that boiled down to them needing to verify in my room it was just me and the two kids. How freaking awkward to be treated like this for some blankets and pillows. We won’t be back. I’ll stick with much nicer resorts and pay more.

Had a wonderful stay.

Very clean rooms the pools are very clean. The property is well maintained great access to the beach.

Had some hairs in our bathrooms at check in, also got placed on a lower floor. Lots of noise issues with neighbors, you could hear everything. Overall, it wasn't the worst stay I ever had but had multiple issues.

We loved our stay. On the ocean and steps away from the beach. Condo was very spacious and nicely decorated. Staff members were so friendly and helpful. First night we were there we had a problem with the hot water. They responded right away and had it fixed within fifteen minutes. Sand and pool toys were in the condo for guest use. Pool towels are provided but you will need to bring your beach towels. Would definitely stay here again.

Great view, very clean..nice location. I couldn’t ask for much more. The only thing I'll say is that I was choosing a place based on amenities and who had a lazy river. The "lazy river" here is a circle under the roof filled with kids. The kids took over that, the kids pool and the adult pool, which isn't huge (and not heated). Bring your own beach chair bc it's costly to rent on beach. Totally recommend

Also, if your room has a connecting door, be prepared for very little sound insulation. The walls are extremely thin, and I could clearly hear everything from the neighboring room, including children screaming.

The room was beyond what I expected, it was perfect for our vacation. The pools were wonderful and being right on the beach was amazing. A+ for having everything my family and I needed right there. The only thing were the parking spaces in the garage were a little tight.. next time I book i will use the extra space across the street for sure but other than that it was great!

We had an amazing time the weather was beautiful room was clean and spacious and the beach view was great all the pools was clean and not crowded even the hot tub. The staff was amazing I messed up my reservation and they fixed it with no problems on either side. We will be back again soon. This is a great place to stay I will recommend it to everyone!

We were very pleased with our stay. The Grand Atlantic was very family friendly,. The pool , lazy river all fantastic and the grandkids had a great time. We would recommend this place to everyone looking to stay in the Myrtle beach area. And thanks to Expedia for giving us a discount from a previous bad booking experience

Grand Atlantic Ocean Resorts, name and attractive but the facilities were very poor. Rent was so high but no complimentary water bottles, no cream, sugar and tea bags. Even papa-mama hotels provide those. We all seniors found it difficult to adjust. I booked two rooms but didn’t got it on the same floor even after requesting. Swimming pool doesn’t open before 9 am and checked out time is at 10 am. Did not enjoyed.

Definitely need to upgrade there photos of there place. Did not look like what was in the pictures.

At other times they didn’t seem to be paying attention to things.

The property was very nice. I love the amenities of the washer and dryer. There was a small leak under the kitchen sink not quite sure where it came from because we had just checked in and we were just looking over everything. The living dining area patio was all very nice. The bathroom was very nice to sink. Had a clog which when I figured out to pull out the drain, it was full of hair so I end up cleaning that up myself because maintenance did not come within the first call not sure if they ever came. We were given extra towels so we did not have to have housekeeping come not sure if housekeeping would come every day so that wasn’t an issue. The property did offer on the last day if we need to stay extra a very considerable discount, which was very gracious of them. The reason why I won’t give this property five stars is because we were staying there between the 21st and the following Sunday the 24th and it was bike week in that area. One day we came back from being out enjoying the weather and the day and there was no parking and we were told that we couldn’t park on the second floor because that floor was designated for bikers. My only issue with that is we are all paying customers so we are all paying we should be able to park wherever there is availability at this point it was almost 2 AM when we came back to park and there was not one parking spot available. We were then called by the front desk until that we will be towed if we don’t move our car across the street.

For the most part it was good, coffee condiments were lacking and the coffee maker was a fire hazard in that it would not turn off it had to be unplugged.

The condo was immaculate and the staff were both professional and friendly. We highly recommend Grand Atlantic Ocean Resort.

Beach view

The room was clean, the staff were fantastic, the grounds were immaculate and the beach view allowed me to watch the sun rise each morning while drinking my coffee. The last morning I was able to see a pod dolphin from my deck. I will be back again!!!

Clean room, great beach view, staff was friendly. Pools were well maintained and very nice. The only surprise was the condo had no paper products, other than toilet paper. No papers towels, Kleenex, sponge's, dish soap nor salt and pepper. Read what is included in your unit. My son’s condo had all these items. Read the description very carefully to see what’s included. If it’s not listed don assume it there.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The pool area was very nice. I really enjoyed my stay.

I came here June 2025 and it was under renovation. And although it was nice then I really loved it this time. The color scheme. The locker filled with bonculars and flashlights for exploration . Not to mention everything I needed in the kitchen to cook down to the blender and mixer and I loved the view. I definitely plan on returning soon . Pool area is pretty basic with the lazy pool but there are 2 jacuzzis, and pool for kids play and one regular out door and in . I would recommend

I like the the cleanliness of the property. The room was excellent.

There were no local channels on the television only a fire stick. There was one old chair in the room.

We were greeted at the front desk with Tasha. She is the nicest, friendliest most helpful person. The rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful as well. We also frequented Scooby's where the staff was very friendly too.

The beach view was beautiful. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and willing to accommodate our request. The condo unit was basic but met our needs. Our one complaint was the bed. The mattress was not comfortable. We were only staying one night but if it'd been multiple nights it woud have required a change of rooms.

The condo was clean and in a good location and had a nice view from the living room. The cons are in room 305 the sockets were loose in several rooms when trying to plug things in the wall, the trash never got picked up after calling front office nor did maintenance never come to check the sockets after calling the front office.

The front desk staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The main downside is the rooms are very dated , the beds are not very comfy, the location was good and the poos are nice and large. We walked around the room barefoot on the carpet and our feet were pretty dirty so i felt the carpet was not too clean, my main complaint all in all !

Hotel right on the beach with 2 hot tubs, 2 pools (1 heated) and a heated lazy river. Within walking distance to public pickleball courts, Walmart Neighborhood grocery store and other shops.

The property is well maintained, I had a king room. The bed was far beyond its useful life…… very uncomfortable. AC was great. Water pressure was excellent. Shower head was just ok. Adequate parking for a large hotel. Beautiful beach area. Hotel located at the end of south Myrtle Beach. Much quieter than other areas.

The poolside seating was comfortable and the view of the ocean from our room was as described, the staff was very professional and helpful, would recommend anyone to stay when in MB.

Room was very nice but a few spiderwebs. We loved the room and balcony view of the water. Unfortunately some people did smoke on the balcony. We will be coming back! This is our new vacation spot.

Everything is very good

I really expected the room to be more up to date. The floors were so dirty and sticky. The pool was by far the best part of the stay. Hopefully 1day they’ll renovate!

The room had a stale smell and bed sheets were thin and severely worn. The carpet in the hallway is filthy and needs to be replaced. During the entire stay the floor we stayed on wrecked with the smell of marijuana; therefore, the hotel needs security to patrol the hall for smokers.

The room was very basic. You can tell it hadn't been cleaned very thoroughly. It was very average.

The staff was amazing at helping with loud guests on our hallway; however, the property showed lots of aging and some areas were not clean with visible trash on the floor. Would have also enjoyed an on-site breakfast option.

The rooms where very clean, the staff was also helpful, and the pool area was nice, and clean. My kids enjoyed the stay at the location. Plan on coming back in the future for another stay

Room has air hockey that takes your money, there is no puck for table but they don’t have a sign up that it is not workable so it makes you put your money in it but cannot be played. Other than that we had a great time and would come back for another visit.

Me and my family came here for spring break and it was okay. I booked a penthouse I felt it could’ve been cleaner I found hair in the freezer the beds were a little uncomfortable with very thin comforters. Also water wouldn’t get hot so showers were very quick because it was too cold. It was advertised that we would receive a hotel credit of $200 however when I checked in the front desk associate gave me a coupon book worth $200(bad advertising) but what me and my family like the most about the resort is the heated pools and hot tubs. The ocean water view was amazing! The stay could’ve been better if we didn’t experience the things I listed above.

Beach view was less than partial but overall a nice stay.

The only complaint was all the drains in our room drained really slow. They were usable enough it was just frustrating but it happens and not the end of the world.

The only thing visible from our balcony was debris from construction. We were supose to have a partial ocean view. The only way we could see any part of the ocean was if we stood sideways and leaned way over the railing. Disappointed. The beds were not comfortable.

Like many resorts in Myrtle Beach it is older but it is well maintained. The indoor pool and hot tubs were really nice for a cold January. Would definitely stay there again.

Room and resort were spotless, staff was super nice. Pools and hot tubs were SO nice. One of the biggest hot tubs I have ever seen.

I must note my suggestions, though. The area rug in the middle of the room needs to be trashed. Tripping hazard & dirty. We tripped over it so many times & had to place something on top of the corners just not to keep tripping. The room doesn't even need the rug. Would look so much cleaner without it. No rug needed. The refrigerator & microwave needs to be upgraded to stain steel. Those 2 changes would make this room appear much more cleaner & updated. Also, the towels should be WHITE. The wall colors / trim should all match. Those changes would do WONDERS & they're fairly inexpensive to do. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but the rug was a negative. I wanted to move it completely myself.

Parking felt unsafe

Room has fridge and microwave. Cons: The room we had didn’t have a table to eat at. There’s a small plastic table in the balcony and one bedside table. There’s a coffee maker and coffee but no cups, creamer, or sugar. I end up going to y K for coffee. Parking garage is very tight. You’ve got to be careful going in and out. I will not stay here in peak season when there will be a lot of cars. Overall good for 2 days. We didn’t stay in the room much except to eat and sleep.

We were there New Years Eve and it was pretty quiet. Room was lovely as was balcony. Great location to get out to restaurants. Everything was clean.

Parking for a one bedroom Condo that sleeps 5 or 6. Family Drove from separate locations and was told by staff that only one vehicle could be parked in their garage but parking with security could be obtained across the street at convenience store. Walked out within an hour and Someone was by the Mercedes that was parked in what was suggested and a person was standing by it with their hands on the window, saw us approaching and ran off. Family member was upset and was direct in asking for parking in garage which had plenty of empty spots and offered to pay an additional fee but was told no it wasn’t allowed. He never cursed no one or threatened anyone but evidently according to them just talked over them and that was not appreciated so they called the police and we were asked to leave. He spoke with the police when they arrived was told that has happened there before. We ended up at a place 1/2 mile from there and checked in at 9:30 with great amenities and ample parking for 2 vehicles. I understand rules but if they had knowledge that this had happened before then they should not suggest someone park at that offsite. What would their reaction be if it happened to any one of them? After the fact I was later informed I had to leave because he “showed out” ? A police report was made and video from the attempted break in was pulled from the “secure” store parking.

Beach view was unobstructed. Very friendly staff. Parking available in a multilevel garage. Room was very clean and well equipped to include kitchen and laundry.No restaurant on the premises but there was a nice fitness facility. Location is very easy to access with restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Would definitely stay there again.

By and large this was a great stay. Had a small hiccup that caused a lot of stress but in the end was handled well by the hotel. Just remember to read the entire check in document. That way you are not given a heart attack over something that would seem minor.

The room was GREAT! Everything was very clean. Bedrooms are a good.size and the bathrooms are spacious. Having a washer and dryer was awesome. Our only frustrating item was the parking deck, it is TIGHT! Watch the mirrors for cars coming toward you.

Everything was great

The staff was very nice and attentive, however, the hotel is listed as a 4 star hotel—and that is one of the primary reasons that I booked it—and in no world should that hotel qualify as a 4 star hotel. The hotel was very outdated and smelled musty and gross. The amenities were extremely lacking and the room was extremely bare bones. The Refrigerator was very small and very old. Additionally, the phone was extremely old and the tv was extremely small for the room size and distance from the bed. I would recommend you others to stay here based on proximity to beach, however, they should not expect 4 star accommodation.

Overall was great

Rooms were very clean. The pools were clean, but on two of the three days we were there, they were closed. HOT TUBS WERE ALSO CLOSED FOR TWO DAYS. The gate to the beach was locked until the third day. The lady at the desk said she would have it opened, but didn't. I don't think we would stay there again.

The room had a bad smell try all they did was spray a odorless spray. Try to get another room and they wouldn't do it. The hotel was not booked.

The washer in the room was full of mold and mildew. I called the front desk for service and was told to just run a wash cycle to clean it. I personally went out and bought stuff to clean it because they didn’t try to clean it.. Then maintenance guy comes up the next day and took pictures and said oh no cleaning it won’t help you need a new washer. Then the manager Amber calls the room and said the owner would have to replace the washer. I was not offered another room but she said she said she gave me a refund for resort fees. Oh how nice when one of the amenities is a washer not a moldy washer! I spoke with her and after how rude she is I won’t be staying there anymore. I know that doesn’t mean anything to her rude rump but I can spend my money somewhere else. I had stayed there several times since they have opened with family and friends but that was my last visit. Need a better cleaning crew that pay attention to these things or home owners that update their property because too much money is being spent for it not to be. But mostly get a manager that has a better attitude and know how to speak to customers. I don’t think she realize that customers coming to the hotel bringing revenue pays her check.. Ocean view was fabulous from the 10th floor the sound of the ocean was serene. Rooms were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. Loved the kitchen but needed soap to wash out glasses and more coffee inserts for the coffee machine

The property looked very nice on the outside. The pool water on the indoor pool was a bit cold too cold to swim in our room was nice and clean the furniture though in our room was terrible and uneven recliner that didn’t recline there was no arm to pull. The other furniture in the room was very uncomfortable and non-supportive. The dining table was shaky and had to be used carefully. I would not want to stay in that room again with the furniture. The bathtub was slippery as I fell once when I was in there, I’ve stayed at your facility before and have had no problems. i’m not sure that I would come back again.

we had such an amazing time here in september. we booked a suite and the space it had was incredible, bigger than apartments weve lived in the past. great views of the beach and very easy to walk to. pools were nice but maybe a little small if it was busy, but ocean access more than made up for it

The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly the only complaint is the furniture n tv’s where out dated in the bedrooms but we still enjoyed our stay

The pools were great and the landscaping was beautiful. For the cost of the room I would have expected a much nicer room. The bedspread was acceptable but not luxury like I would have expected. I needed more than one parking spot but they would not give us one even though the hotel was not anywhere near full. There was coffee but no sugar or creamers. There was no table on the deck. I would not expect to put our drinks on the floor while sitting on the deck. One chair was nice and the other was one of the $2 white plastic chairs. $250 a night on off season was too much.

Only complaint was the quality of the bed. It was very uncomfortable for both of us. Bed needs to be replaced before I would consider renting that unit again.

parking garage was very narrow. difficult to navigate. area around hotel was sketchy,giving you an unsafe feeling. the televisions/cable system need to be upgraded.

We didn’t realize it was a time share type property instead of a hotel. There was no staff. Too many rules on this time shares.

After a previous stay at a different hotel on the beach at Myrtle, I was a little wary. Once I arrived, I was very pleasantly impressed. The whole building is clean and very well-maintained. It is apparent that the management does continual upkeep and update. our condo was spacious and very comfortable. It appeared to be newly painted. And again, very clean. I was impressed!

We really enjoyed our stay and the property was clean and lovely.

Place was beautiful and our unit 1903 actually did look exactly like the pictures. The pool area is completely renovated no construction to speak of. Will definitely be back!

Key cards was a little confusing, but all of my questions were answered promptly.

The beds were comfortable sheets were clean. The room was old the carpet needed to be changed it was very basic served its purpose for the weekend. The pools I think we're very cloudy they needed to be maintained better. It was sand in the hot tub which I understand can happen but first thing in the morning shouldn't be there. The grounds in the back area were very pretty with lounge chairs facing the beach was a nice touch. Front desk staff was very nice. Access to the beach was very easy parking was plentiful especially for a holiday weekend.

I liked everything accept the cockroaches that inhabited my trash cans!

The staff called me and asked to book another room for $750. They threaded me that I need to book another room and show them the proof within 1 hours else they will evict us. They exploite to sell me another room. I had to book anther room in other holder within 1 and half hour and show them the proof. They didnt spare me even after that. They sent security at 10:00 pm to cound the number of people in the room. They ruined my families vacation. I never had such a worst experience in my life. They treated us like thiefs not as a customers. Never recommend this hotel even to my enemy.

Loved this place. Having easy access to the beach especially having my mother on a wheelchair made super easy to move her around. And the staff so friendly and kind. Definitely coming back to this place.

The overall atmosphere was family-friendly, and we felt very comfortable during our stay. Our room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. This resort is a great choice for anyone looking to combine the beach, pools, and family time. We definitely plan to come back!

It was very nice

I have never had a hotel make me want to go home within an hour of arrival. And I almost did if it was not 800 dollars for 3 nights. Only nice moment we had was the front desk for check in. We then parked our car and headed to our room. we scanned our keycard opened door to hallway to be greeted by the overwhelming stench of everything that has ever been spilled in the hallway carpet. I Opened door to room musty stank smell eminating from bedroom carpet looked and felt like it had not been cleaned since it was installed. felt gross to feet. Stains in area rug in sofa area and on chair. A plastic chair and metal one on balcony no table. Coffee table leaning needed to be replaced. light bulbs out. Hair dryer broken. shower faucet broken away from wall. Microwave all rusted out inside. Wanted to call down to lobby but of course both phones in room did not work. told desk about phones they were like oh they work in other rooms. Went to store on property older gentleman asked what we wanted then shut door in wifes face. We were like ok went back next day asked his hours of operation he yelled at her again saying 3-7 cramming a sandwich in his face. The resteraunt on site well is ok considering there is nothing else around. This place is way overrated. I still have not brought anything in from my trip due to the lack of cleaning i am going to fumigate my luggage first to be safe.

The property location is conveniently located to popular restaurants, retail stores, and pharmacies. There are many family fun activities nearby as well. But the overall benefits were the exquisite condo and spectacular ocean view.

We had a short but lovely time. As we walked back from beach we found the pools and hot tub, but didn't have time to jump in. Only bad surprise was we were told we wold have to rent the chairs and umbrellas that were on the beach for $50 for the day. We only had about 90 minutes to spend so we sat on a towel. We thought the chairs were provided by the hotel. But still enjoyed our time at the beach.

I hated our room.It was very outdated, chairs had stains all over them and although it said partial ocean view I was literally looking at a building and parking lot and had to lean over balcony to get a small sliver of ocean view. I tried to upgrade but staff refused to waive the fee for initial room and allow me to upgrade even though I was willing to pay the higher rate. The pool area was nice.

Wasn't far from all the places we attended. The space was good. I didn't like that we had to ask for towels and toilet paper. One of the tvs didn't come on even tho we didn't watch them. There was a roach in the room. Not good at all. The gnats were bad and a fly was irritating. They didn't spoil our trip but I never delt with bigs staying in resort in myrtle beach. Also that Scooby plave a roach was crawling on the wall and the 2 ladies working in there at the time was rude.

Well looks like great on the pictures and when you access hotel it's all new filling. Smell inside in the room it's really bad. I don't recommend this place needs renovations .

All round good stay, no surprises. Parking garage has really tight turns and spaces hard to get in and out. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Coffee supplied for drip coffee maker. Kuerig machine also there but no k-cups

From our room being ready early after our long drive to any request being responded to expeditiously by all staff, I was very impressed and satisfied with the Grand Atlantic. Condo was clean, staff was friendly and helpful and all the amenities located onsite were as described. Having the onsite restaurant Scooby's was such a benefit, all the food was great! We look forward to staying here again next year! Thanks for making our family vacation a comfortable one.

The floors in the hotel room turned my children's feet black so we then all had to where socks which all ended up black as well. My husband had to buy a swiffer, but that only helped on the hardwood floor, not the carpeted flooring. The access to the beach is closed between 11p-7am and you have to walk around to the front of the building to gain access...no big deal just inconvenient, but the worse part was there was no where to spray your feet if you went out during these hours because the foot sprayer was locked behind the gate. (Low tide is around midnight and is the best time to go shelling- so this was a major detractor). The elevators continuously smelled like weed and I had to subject my children to that awful smell every time we wanted to go anywhere, practically getting a contact buzz in the elevator. In addition, The lights in the one bathroom kept going out and shorting the circuit, nothing was plugged in, just by turning on the lights it caused it to short. The doors were very loud and squeaky which made it hard to be quiet when entering the rooms with sleeping children in the room close by. The front desk staff that checked me in was absolutely wonderful and pleasant to talk to. When we called about the bathroom lights, staff was quick to respond and fix both times. Unfortunately, due to the cleanliness (lack there of) of the floors and the beach access at night, we will not be staying at this location going forward.

Fire alarm went off in building and everyone evacuated. No alarm went off in our room.

Stay 4nights / 1st night was not good. The room was ok but the beds were beyond bad. We called front desk but couldn’t get another room until 2nd day which were definitely better. So I asked the hotel please do not put guests in that room until they have updated/remediated this situation. Lost one night but hotel did not offer any refund or discount.

I was pleased with the hotel room. We booked a two-bedroom oceanfront room. The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The tv's in room 1605 were flat screen but outdated from the early 2000's. Overall, the room was worth the price. We will definitely stay there again.

Our room was very nice and clean and had an amazing view of the ocean. I am not giving 5 stars because during our stay the fire alarm had gone off multiple times (false alarms every time) while we there, waking us up very early the only morning we wanted to sleep in. It went off around 4:45am and it continued to go off for about 45 minutes. Having to evacuate at that hour or listen to that alarm go off for 45 minutes was definitely an inconvenience for a false alarm. It went off 3 or 4 times during our 4 night stay. That is my only serious complaint. The parking garage is a little tight so definitely be sure to utilize the mirrors they have in place to be aware of oncoming vehicles coming around corners.

Loved that is had direct beach access and separate bedrooms. Had laundry and all the kitchen utensils. However, the fire alarm went off everyday we were there and on the last day of our trip it went off at 5am. There was no fire but a problem with the alarm and no compensation was given for that inconvenience. My kids were frightened and we were frustrated because no one was addressing it. Pools and lazy river were nice since they were indoors

I like the fact there was a place to get food and drinks down stairs. However the room was not up to par. They need to do renovations. The room had a funny smell and someone also pulled the fire alarm at 4 am causing everyone to evacuate.

Good beach access, room was small but fairly clean. The bed was pretty uncomfortable and I woke up with my back hurting each morning. The towels were small and scratchy. But it had everything we needed and got us to our goal-the beach!

Enjoyed another wedding anniversary with the Grand Atlantic Resort! Beautiful room with a beautiful view of the ocean. We stayed last year in August and came back this year in July. We highly recommend this hotel for couples and family vacations.

Well this is my second time staying there I love the condos I love walking around in the area but my kids love the pool. The lady at the front desk was very helpful with answering questions that I needed. And the cleanup crew was nice

We got the 2 room condo that has one king bed and the 2 doubles. It also had 2 full bathrooms. I didn't realize this is a building of privately owned condos when I booked, so there will be slight variation in the decoration or style of the condos. Also, you will need to suply some things like your own paper towels. We were able to use all the appliances without any issues. These include the clothes washer and dryer, dishwashing machine, stove and microwave. We were provided with 2 packets of coffee, plenty of towels, plenty of TP, and 2 packets of dishwasher soap. The kitchen was fully stocked with flatware, plates, pots, pans, colander, cutting board, etc. The balcony offered the perfect view. The beach access is convenient, and there are 4 hoses to clean all the sand off when coming back after beach time. The lifeguard post is extremely close, which was reassuring. You can also rent beach umbrellas and seats from the city (note, Myrtle Beach ordinance means umbrellas only, NO canopies or shibumis!). The indoor pools are not in an enclosed space. The "indoor" and "outdoor" pools are right next to each other. The kiddie pool was out of service for most of the week, but was repaired before we left. It's a cute pool for littles with a couple water features and only 18" deep. All pools max out at 5' deep. There were extra towels in the pool area. There is a Walmart a couple blocks away, tons of shops and restaurants. We'll be back!!

Great Hotel

The front desk clerk wasn’t helpful. She never spoke of internet service at the hotel. I used my hot spot. I wanted a room on a lower floor due to my disability and my service dog….she would not accommodate. I ended up on the 16th floor. When she gave me the key to my room she said very loudly, the room number where all guest could hear. I told her this was the first time a front desk clerk ever did that. I felt vulnerable and very upset. She was most unprofessional.

The say was okay, very clean the only issues are some of the key code entries from the garage into the hotel don’t work, and the doors are broke very inconvenient when trying to get stuff in and out also, there was a lot of construction going on putting in a new hot tub very loud machinery right at the pools during our whole stay and they had the hottub closed off every day until late in the evening. One of the best times to get in are in the morning so we went back upstairs and had to wait each day this was a big inconvenience other than that everything was ok.

We've stayed at Grand Atlantic before this trip. We always are pleased and return. I usually book directly with them but booked through expedia this time. I wasnt told by expedia when booking that the outside pools and areas are under construction. This was a short weekend trip and thanks to Josh at the front desk for helping make it a more pleasant experience and stay despite the construction.

We had a fabulous stay! The staff was helpful and friendly. Scooby’s (the bar and grill connected) is amazing!

Probably one of the worst places we have stayed at in Myrtle Beach. They are currently under construction and didn’t provide notice beforehand. Little to no amenities, customer service was subpar. ⭐️⭐️

The property is Greay, its the Motel full of crackheads across the street from it thats an issue. The parking garage doesnt accommodate vans and we had out kids with us and had to park by the trap

Staff was friendly the room was clean. There was small Items that I am accustomed to that were missing. I was accustomed to small dish liquid, small paper towels and creamer sugar stir with the coffee. So I didn’t bring those items. The view was great. I didn’t realize the beach access and pool were under construction until I got there.

It was a really nice hotel and in a very good spot, but the parking was horrible. The spots are very tight and the garage fills up, so you’ll end driving around waiting on someone to leave. Also, everyone was out on their balconies smoking weed all day and night, so it stunk horribly bad there, even inside of our room. The parking and weed smoking may had been due to it being bike week, which we didn’t realize until after we got there. But overall it was a super nice resort and very, very clean. Just need to crack down on the smoking in the balconies. Definitely would stay there again, but will make sure there isn’t any crazy holidays going on.

I would definitely stay again. I loved our one bedroom condo. It was very comfortable and very roomy. Our ocean view was beautiful. The pools are being renovated but, I didn’t really care. We were busy biking. I look forward to staying again once the pool’s are finished. The staff was friendly and professional as well. I don’t have anything negative to say at all.

The hotel is clean and nice location

On our last trip, we stayed at this property and were very pleased, which is the reason we stayed here again. At the time of booking, we requested a three bedroom, three bath and at check-in were given a two bath, which we were told could not be changed because there were no three baths available. Several of the outlets had loose connections and would not hold a plug. We were told a maintenance person would be sent up, but one never came. The apartment desperately needs redecorating. The lining of the drapes in the master bedroom had holes in it, the top of a lamp was broken and the furniture is worn. We do not plan to return.

I liked that it was quiet. On the beach with a great view from the balcony. It was clean and had dishes to use. The sofa sleeper and Murphy bed were very springy and uncomfortable. The king bed in the bedroom was very firm. It was tolerable. The check in was hard to find. It’s under construction so some things weren’t available.

Then a miracle happened, I was able to secure 3 nights at The Grand Atlantic using my FAVORITE app hotels.com. I was honestly terrified after what we just went through but I kept my faith. Sure enough hotel.com & Grand Atlantic did not disappoint!! Our trip went from a “National Lampoons NIGHTMARE” to a “dream a come true”! From the moment we checked in to check out our trip was breathtaking. Our room and the view was beyond remarkable and the hotel staff were helpful and polite. We had an amazing time and I am so grateful we stayed at Grand Atlantic because it was simply marvelous!

They were doing remodeling or something! It was a work thing that workers stand on blocking the view of the ocean it was terrible!

The best thing about the condo was the shower and location. The high pressure shower was amazing. The condo is close to everything (driving). Beach access and the oceanfront balcony were also a plus. Aside from that the condo is dated and in need of A LOT of repairs. The kitchen sink leaks. The baseboards are dirty and furniture should be replaced. The king bed is HARD. If you have a bad back then this isn’t the place for you. Most places offer a start up of a small dish liquid, paper towels and at least a salt and pepper shaker. This one had nothing and the listing didn’t specify this prior to arrival. The property advertised a smoke free environment however there was cigarette smoke odor everywhere. There were no pool towels during peek times and the elevators were always wet. The walls are thin so music and loud talking from the hallway and neighboring rooms bleed through the walls.

My kids and i really enjoyed the newly renovated room! We will be coming back :)

It could have been better if the pool was opened. My overall stay was as okay. My room, condo, whatever - surprisingly had everything I needed for the kitchen minus the food! Full sized kitchen Asher and driver. It was nice… but I couldn’t get my remote to work in the bedroom. The parking garage is tight! And would be really bad if it’s a full house! Would I stay again. I don’t know, but if the price is right, Yes!

Did not like how they stored black bags of trash on the ground level in the parking spot it smelled horrible. However, my stay was great and staff was excellent. Convenient ice cream and bar and easy access to beach.

It was amazing, i enjoyed looking at the ocean. The room was so clean, had washer and dryer with a full kitchen. Overall i enjoyed the stay.

Getting help with anything is difficult or impossible. We were there for four days and could not find anyone to help with soap or a trash bag( which sadly they still use the small hotel trial sizes and we know how horrible that is for the environment). The front office doesn't do anything but check you in and say to call for service, which you can't get through on the phone.The area about a 10 min drive has lots of fun and food options. There is a place downstairs with late night food and drink and they were fast, friendly, and the food was okay. Overall it wasn't horrible, the suite was clean and great size for a family. We stayed in the 2 bedroom with three beds. I don't think I would stay here again unless the rates were significantly less than others. It is right on the beach and that is nice.

Our initial thoughts were very large space. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms . It appeared cleaned but upon inspection it needs to be updated with the ceilings and the corners of the bathroom need to be cleaned. The other guest that brought food/groceries in may be the reason why we seen roaches in the 2 bedroom suite that we stayed in. If the hotel is fumigated quarterly or monthly, I’m sure you wouldn’t have an issue. If we had to stay longer we would go elsewhere. The location was ok. Prefer a gated area, but it was decent. Now that we have seen Myrtle Beach , we will definitely seek another location. Nevertheless, it wasn’t a total bust.

They let us know in advance that the outdoor pool was being renovated and that was ok. The indoor pools were recently renovated and heated!! Our room was perfect for our family of 4 with plenty of room left. Very spacious and clean.

We just stayed there and were extremely disappointed in the atmosphere we were only notified the outdoor pool would be closed nothing about both beach accesses being closed, and the construction at 7am above our bedrooms was obnoxiously loud woke us all up out of our sleep first thing in the morning and there was nothing on the website before i booked about not allowing golf carts on the property or we wouldnt have stayed there because my husband was on cruches and needed the golf cart to get around we couldve stayed somewhere for half the price on the beach and allows golf carts never again we will we stay here !!!!

Amazing view, clean room, and comfortable bed. Walls are a little thin, I could hear music playing late at night from next door, but your on vacation so you just roll with it. LOVED hearing the waves crash at night and seeing the moon rise over the ocean.

The space was adequate for my family. Love that each bedroom had its own bathroom! Property was not very clean! When we walked in the sliding glass doors were plasterd with finger prints and smudges. Ceiling fans in the great room and master bedroom were filthy, piled with dust on the blades. Sand was in my daughters bed when she went to lay down!! Utility closet was a mess!! I ended up cleaning the sliding doors and organizing the utility closet!

Overall the hotel was fine. It was unfortunate that so many renovations were going on while we were there as the environment was noisy.

There was construction going on on the pools, and some of the condos. We were unaware that the pools were not going to be open due to the construction. The indoor pool on the first night was dirty and was not open. The second day the pool was open however it was very cold. The lazy river was not accessible.

Check in was easy and the facility was in a convenient location. Our resort fee was waived due to the Expedia status. The indoor pool and lazy river were being reworked, so I would have been upset if we had been charged a fee when there was no indoor pool. We had loud neighbors after the "quiet time" and when called, the staff handled the noise. Check out was easy. The front desk staff were friendly.

I think it was more on Expedia than the property, but we booked specifically for the indoor pool. When we arrived we were told the indoor pool was closed for renovation and it should have been posted on Expedia. The only renovation that was posted was about the outdoor pool and hot tub. I not sure who needs to update the information but it was a complete bust for our grandkids. There was another couple checking that was the same way. They had specifically asked about the indoor pool and the check in lady told them the same thing.

At first i was nervous about how our stay was gonna go, they called and said there was some construction going on...gladly, there were no problems and never heard any noise. The room was big and beds comfortable. The partial ocean view was nice as well. The front desk ladies were sweet and willing to help with any of our needs. Will book here again, hopefully in the summer months.

Staff was very friendly. Hotel was under MAJOR renovations everywhere (constant saws and jackhammers). No coffee or anything in the lobby, and the coffee in the room was all there was (so stir sticks, sugar, splenda, or creamer). Hotel was pretty clan and parking was easy, though garage level 2 got blocked off halfway thru the stay for more construction. Will probably be a better stay by mid summer.

The room was so dirty upon arrival that our first day we spent cleaning the unit. I was not told about not being able to use the balcony till about 2-3 days prior to arrival but was told we would still have a view but we did not. The balcony was wrapped in white plastic. Was also told we would have access to the outdoor heated pool and hot tub but also a lie. If you email them about anything they don’t answer and you don’t have a number to call! Don’t waste your time or money book else where!

All facilities l available like dryer washer microwave everything included in the room & also all cooking facilities also

Nice hotel and nice location. Only complaint was the the loud drilling construction noise that shook the whole room and was a drilling noise. It woke the babies up and we had to leave the room.

Don't like being on the 18th floor

The room that I originally got was not the room that I ordered on Hotels.com I explained this to the front representative. My employee who’s room I also paid for got the correct room, but I had to pay in order to get the same room as I paid for my employee. Fortunately Hotels.com at great customer service and they paid difference.

The service was great! The room was clean, and very spacious. The swimming pools were very warm and clean. The pools and lazy river did not smell like chlorine but they were warm and clean!

Problème no 1 et majeur: Hotels.com annonce cette chambre en $Cad, sous-traite cette location à Red Awning (inconnu jusqu'alors) qui interprète la facture en $US, donc surcharge de 25%, ce qui n'est pas rien. De plus, Red Awning confie la remise de la chambre à VacationMB qui brille par son absence à 15h après m'avoir confirmé sa présence jusqu'à 16h30. Je retournerais à cet endroit, mais pas avec Hotels.com.

Beds/bedding could be upgraded. Other than that our family had a good stay!
