    Front desk staff and housekeeping is very nice. Prime location in Naperville and close to the highway and lots of shopping. Very comfortable beds and nice room design. If you use booking.com your reservation might not be received properly. There was lots of miscommunication which was frustrating at first.

    Got 3 rooms. When my son entered his room, someone was already occupying it. His family got upgraded to a new room no charge, but it smelled like fish and we elimated the smell with body spray. My other son's room smelled of mold and there wasnt a plug for the daughter to take a bath. My room was very nice and clean, but our coffee maker, a light, and a plug in did not work. Workers came up to one of my son's room late at night verifying someone was staying in the room. Very thin walls. 2 Grandkids were kept up by banging of a bed against the wall. If you know what i mean. Again, kudos to Kenney, he is a wonderful individual. Thank you for your warm heart.

    The gentleman at the front desk was so nice! He had such good hospitality & gave us good recommendations about things to do while down here because we are not from Illinois. We had been on the road for a long time and they don't have a public bathroom. He was kind enough to let my sons go behind the counter to use the employee bathroom. He was honestly the only good part of the experience there. This place is a dump. As soon as we walked in, it smelled like active mold. I go to turn on the heat & sure enough there is active mold in the vent. There was mold at the baseboards in the bathroom & on the ceiling. They didn't even give us enough towels. You could tell that the floors had not been mopped bc they were dirty. I would never come to this place again.

    Awesome service at the front desk. Very friendly and courteous. We were assigned the first floor but last room at the end right on 59. We were worried about the noise but it was fine inside. The parking lot had a few stragglers making TicTocs. Over a fine stay. But I’m not sure why it’s advertised as a RR plus.

    Room Review: Two Double Bed Deluxe - It looked exactly like the picture on Expedia. I'm not joking. Beautiful. - Fridge and microwave were clean and worked like they were new - I'm not sure what the upgraded to Premium sheets were like, but Deluxe sheets were soft and cozy. - The water pressure was terrific. - Only two towels in the room, my only complaint, so I would call ahead and make sure to pick up more upon check-in. - The bathroom and sink area were not only spotless, but with the decor and decision making put into the actual shower/bath combo, toilet, and sink style, I would have guessed I was in a hotel similar to where the rest of our team stayed. Wonderful!! - I am hands down picky about a bed. I am very happy to report that when I say the bed was comfortable. IT WAS COMFORTABLE. Even my picky teens were thrilled after a full day of soccer games and driving 5 hours to get there.

    The light over the bed was out when I checked in. I advised reception. Nothing was done. The toilet tank ran constantly, making noise. No housekeeping during my stay. Lots of chipped, worn paint, plus the corridors particularly around the elevator are quite worn. Not much maintenance for some time, apparently. You get what you pay for.

    Brother is handicapped. Made reservation for 2 nights—Friday and Saturday in a handicapped room. Called the Hotel itself to verify he had it for 2 nights. They couldn’t give him a walk in shower for both nights, so we opted for the tub with safety rail for both nights. He has a serious balance problem and needed this safety measure. He opted for use card on arrival instead of using prepay because he wanted to use a different card than the night before. While he was at a reunion event they cleared his room, rented it someone else, refused to give him his things back, and refused to give him a receipt. Now they are charging him twice as much for a whole NEW reservation for tonight, and he needs the handicapped room, they haven’t got another, and needs to get ready for tonight’s event— which was the main reason for the trip in the first place.

    There were no soaps in any of the dispensers which was listed in the description so i didn't have what i needed plus the TV was having issues working. The toilet didn't feel stable so i checked and one of the fasteners that holds it in place was completely off. Staff is very friendly though. It did feel clean. Just a few hiccups.

    Unfortunately when I checked into my room the bedding was filthy and the sheets were covered in hair I immediately notified the front desk and was given another room upon checking my 2nd room I observed that the air conditioner was broken missing the face of the air conditioner it didn’t work how it was supposed to but at that point I was in deep need of a place to sleep for the night so I didn’t complain the bedding was clean so that was okay with me.

    The property was in good condition and rooms clean. My low rating is because I prepaid through Expedia and am seeing additional 90 and 50 dollar charges from the motel. My understanding was I paid a refundable deposit and an early check in fee which was the 50 charge but I'm not understanding why the additional 90 dollar charge. It's as if they charged me as a walk in on top of the prepaid Expedia rate I paid.

    My stay was okay at the Red Roof Inn but my room had a lot of wear n tear to it. The faucet was shaking and the sinks hot water was not getting hot. The doors had dents and tears to it and the key cards given to us had both marks on them. The room was presented as clean but there was still dust on the hair dryer and ironing board. Then because it is summer there were fruit flies in the window and we had to constantly fight them off. When we tried to get clean towels and trash service there staff is off for the weekends out there so I had to obtain the towels myself which was not cool.

    I always grew up thinking Red Roof Inns were really cheap and on the “lower quality” side due to the low nightly cost and average amenities. This Red Roof Inn Plus+ had both the awesome nightly rate AND higher comfort levels than I’d normally anticipate from a motel. The room was so comfortable and well maintained and was the most accommodating accommodation I’ve stayed in on my week long roadtrip across the country. I would stay here again and again.

    Did not check out the condition of the room until after I completed check-in. BIG MISTAKE. The property was in disrepair and it looked like subsidized housing with people living there regularly grooming their dogs outside, vehicles with smashed windows etc. Walking into the room I almost choked from the smell of smoke. Went back to the lobby, Kendall the front desk agent (very pleasant) went up to the room, came back and agreed it was unacceptable but could not process my refund and told me only the Manager could complete a refund who wouldn't be back for 4 days. They asked if I wanted a room swap, I said sure, as long as it didn't smell like smoke. Agent left for 5 minutes, came back and said they didn't have a room that would be suitable to swap me to (can only assume the other rooms they were considering smelled like smoke too). I emailed the Manager and will have to wait to see if I get my refund. Note: the room itself looked fine if it wasn't for the smoke smell. Also note, all rooms are accessed from an outdoor corridor so safety may be a concern for some.

    The hotel was close to my destination. Service at desk was not particularly friendly or expedient. Property was dingy, from the elevator area (piles of garbage and laundry) to the rooms (a/c and heat unit was grid with wear and tear, stains, and dried food debris stuck to unit). Bathroom was tidy. Floors were clean. All doors face outside, which made the traffic noise from very busy Rte 59 a constant barrier to peace and quiet. I was not impressed.

    Building is getting old and shows it. we had kids running around late outside our room but we were right on top of the elevator.

    Firecrackers set off in the room next to me and lots of banging on the wall. hotel ran completely out of coffee for the rooms( at least that is what the person at the front desk told me) I was there for2 days and my room was never serviced. Also, cops hanging around, not for security but because there aparently was an incident

    My family and I did not feel safe here. The front desk clerk that checked us in was nice, that was about the only good thing about this place. I booked 2 days only stayed one. My son was getting bitten by something. Told the front desk they did not seem yo care. Do not recommend this place.
