Reviews
The hotel is generally praised for its cleanliness, comfortable beds, and friendly, helpful staff. Its location is also frequently mentioned as a positive, being close to Vanderbilt Medical facilities and other local attractions. However, there are consistent complaints about the thin walls and noisy environment, disrupting guests' sleep. The breakfast provided is also a common complaint, being minimal and often running out of items.

Hotel is a little rough around the edges, but clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It has a good guest laundry, and rooms were well equipped (tv,microwave, fridge, stove, a/c). There's nothing at the location, but there's a bus stop right outside that'll take you Downtown for $2. Breakfast options limited, but okay, however oranges on dats 2 and 3 of our stay were shriveled.

Downside, our room did not have stocked items like dishes etc to grab some groceries to make dinner. I would stay again as the staff was great.
- 3/5
Smell of the laundry beside my room was awful, although the room seems clean but some cockroach to deal with. Also no breakfast, just a coffee and some snacks that each person were allowed to just take one.
- 2/5
This property was subpar to say the least based on the location. The a/c unit was loud and inconsistent and the refrigerator was loud and disturbing all night. When I reported this issue to the front desk, I was told that all of the refrigerators made this sound and I was probably unaware because we don't usually sleep near our refrigerators. The iron board was broken and I was unable to use the iron because the electrical outlets did not work in the room.

It was perfect for the short stay we had. The staff were helpful and friendly and the room and hotel were clean and well cared for. Next time however I will ask for a handicap room. It was difficult to get in and out of the shower and the water pressure was not great.

It was a decent stay overall but during our one night stay the a/c broke down and leaked all over. The water pressure in the shower was low. It was clean enough and the stuff was very accommodating. Free parking was a bonus but it felt a bit unsafe.
- 4/5
The property satisfied the needs we had but the AC unit in the room was not steady. It was either too hot or too cold and turned off and on a lot.

Great location with free parking …which is rare in Nashville. Room was more than we needed and we’ll be back

The room was surface level clean. When I got in the shower for the first time, I discovered hair all over the shower walls. Keep in mind I had not showered yet, so it was not clean before. One of the ladies who worked in reception was a real grump. Anytime you needed assistance, she would huff and puff about it.

The front desk attendant at check in was rude and not friendly at all. Thought it couldn’t be worse until I checked out in the morning and the woman was really bothered as she shouted out of somewhere “what you need?” I said check out and she needed to tell the friend she was talking to on the phone to hold on she had to give this woman a receipt. She was truly annoyed about having to do her job

THE STAFF IS AMAZING. Nicest people ever!!!
- 5/5
Staff was really helpful even though I arrived super late. The room was very clean and quiet. The only way it would have been better is if there were a hair dryer.
- 5/5
Easy check in, friendly staff, clean room.
- 3/5
The Mgr was so rude when we checked in… it was like he was trying to rush us. Then when we got to our room the fire alarm started going off and when my husband asked “if everything was under control” because the issue was in the room next to ours…. He rudely says “ I haven’t knocked on your door yet, have I?” What the hell….
- 2/5
The room was neglected and no amenities offered were in the room you had to go to the front desk to ask for what you needed and they gave it to you in a bucket to take back to your room. The fitness center is only 1 treadmill and a bike; so not a fitness room at all. The back door light was out so it was really dark to enter that way. It was like they did not care to even go around to check the property grounds at all to fix anything. Will not stay there again.
- 4/5
Clean room. The spacious of the room. The convenience of location.
- 4/5
The biggest negative is that we had had a huge ice storm which left me and 200,000 others out of power for over a week. Many hotels offered discounts to locals dealing with this but NOT Extended Stay America. I am very disappointed by this as this unexpected expense was not affordable for me.

We were highly impressed with the cleanliness and size of our room! It was very spacious, and the bed was comfortable. It was very convenient to have a full size fridge and microwave right in the room. Having free covered parking in the city was a huge perk. We will 100% be staying at this hotel in the future.
- 4/5
Overall a good stay, I was in town for some medical testing and the room was easy to rest in.
- 2/5
hotel was in renovation and was not informed until arrival. locked out of room after first night. had to pay on three seperate occasions. no amenities. staff was very polite. no where closebto capacity, but booked room right above me so i was kept up all night by guest above. would take a lot of convincing to stay at this chain again.

The room and staff was good. It was the remodeling with painting and what goes with that made it annoying.
- 3/5
Noise. Impossible to sleep if above you have a heavy footstep person

I cannot express how wonderful Angelina was. She was very personable and went above and beyond to help us. I would definitely recommend your hotel to anyone needing a place to stay in Nashville.

Very convenient and close to a lot of things to do and restaurants. Thank you.

One room was dated, second room was good.

Location is hard to beat with easy access to nearly everything. Friendly staff, and parking lot access to hotel is top notch.
- 5/5
All the above was excellent
- 4/5
Great location to Vanderbilt University. Highly recommended.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing! Great hard working staff. Easy to get around can not wait to visit again.
- 4/5
The hotel was very clean with a nice room. Breakfast was grab and go which included coffee, oatmeal, oranges, youghurt, and packaged muffins. Location is great for visiting downtown or medical appointments. Would stag here again and again.
- 5/5
Nice place!
- 4/5
Breakfast isn’t cereal bars and yogurt. No juice , bananas. Once I saw prepared boiled eggs .
- 1/5
Kitchenette, with no dishes no soap at sink and no paper towel. What is the point in having a kitchenette without these things? They expect people to bring their own dishes on vacation? Not clean, not good. Will never stay there again and over charged for none of these ammenities especially when you dont even get the right size bed!
- 5/5

- 5/5

- 5/5
Hotel in good condition. Quiet except for some noise from the room above - 4th floor (heavy walking during nighttime hours). I told the check out clerk, who advised me that I should have told him earlier. 15 minutes drive to Nashville International Airport. The kitchen was great to prepare quick meals. The grab-n-go breakfast next to the Front Desk consists of hard boiled eggs (in small refrigerator), muffins, coffee, tea, yogurt, and multigrain bars. Easy walking to Centennial Park (family picnic, jogging, volleyball, Parthenon) on West End Ave. McDonald's and restaurants in walking distance. Exxon gas station one block away. Easy ground level parking. Quiet lobby.
- 5/5
Great quick easy stay in Nashville!
- 5/5
Convenient to I-24 and West end. Breakfast was a token "takeway" breakfast.
- 4/5
Quick overnight trip. Location was good. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Parking was included with stay. My only complaint if I had one would be the minimum breakfast options. Only coffee was being served no juice options. Overall I recommend this hotel and would stay again. Would be a great place to stay for extended amount of time as there was a full kitchen.
- 3/5
The microwave was not working in room 202Arzetta and Tyjuan Stitt
- 3/5
Bathroom shower needed cleaning at edges of the floor pan. Using some kind of cleaner and elbow grease would probably do wonders.
- 5/5
Good area. Clean. Friendly service. Free parking which is great! I'll go back.

I paid for a room for the night of 07/20/25. We had to take a friend to the hospital in Nashville and we arrived at the hotel at about 2:30 am on the 21st but could not get in the office front door. There was a service phone outside the door. I spoke with the clerk who told me she could not check us in until 3:00am. We waited outside the building until 3. When I approached the front desk the clerk was extremely rude to me. Instead of politely asking for my ID she demanded it. Then she rudely informed me she wanted my car license plate number exactly. I went outside to get the license number and gave it to her. Then she said she would have to see my wife's ID. I asked why. Her answer was impatient and rude. I went out to get my wife's ID all the while fuming at her attitude. I finally went back inside and after exchanging some very heated conversation I told her to refund my money and we went to another hotel where I was treated with courtesy and respect. I have not received a refund as yet. I want my money back!

Having a kitchen was a game changer.
- 5/5
Close to Broadway (2 miles)
- 3/5
Staff was not very friendly
- 4/5
The hotel room was clean, spacious, and appropriately equipped.
- 4/5
This property was perfect for what we needed. Appreciated having gluten free options for breakfast. Nothing i didnt like.
- 5/5
This is the first time in a long time that everything was clean, showers were clean, the drain wasnt clogged, and bed sheets and pillows were clean!!! Thank you so much would stay here again!
- 5/5
I booked through Expedia and they overbooked the room type I had chosen. The lady on duty called me when they received the notification and quickly booked me into an available room that still worked for my husband and me. She was super nice and polite when we arrived and made sure that we were comfortable in the new room choice. We would stay there again.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. I visited because my mother was in Centennial Hospital, and when I needed to extend my stay the managed it almost with our me. So greatful. I will stay there next time I am in Nashville.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly kind and helpful. I never walked in our out without a sweet greeting or friendly goodbye. I will stay here next time I am in Nashville.
- 5/5
We were there just overnight for a triathlon. Wanted safe & nice without having to pay the premium weekend rates. This location gave us that, would definitely go back.
- 5/5
Great space in the room, was clean and tidy. Easy to get around from, own transport or ride app.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay and would stay again no problem. Thank you
- 3/5
First of all there were no Hangers, the fridge was making so much noises I had to worn ear plugs + You have to ask like a child for getting pots and pans,,,,,But one thing I want you to know Your Staff was very helpful, professional and very nice 👍
- 3/5
Building and room was clean. Checking in took a few minutes because of some complaining about billing. Staff seemed non talkative and non smiling. The gentleman that did my check in required my credit card to be on file even though hotels.com handled everything. But other than staff being short and non smiling get ready for no ice machine, no coffee pot or custom cups or normal items you see in a room. Don’t ask about ice!!! The unhappy 5pm desk clerk will snap at you that you were told about ice trays!!!
- 3/5
It was adequate
- 4/5
Excellent but I would ask for a room away from the roadside of West End Ave very noisy rooms on that side of the property
- 5/5
the lobby was a little busy which was intimidating at first. But the check in was easy, and there was parking right up front, which made me feel secure. The room was my favorite part, spacious, clean, comfortable with a clean comfortable bed. It was my 1st time in an Extended Stay so until I got in the room, I didn't know you needed to request a coffee pot, other than that, I had no issues and fully relaxed in my room.
- 4/5
A great choice as the price is right and offers free parking, which is hard to find in that part Nashville. A bit noisy though, with noise from the unit above us and a leaf blower outside at 7am
- 1/5
Wasn’t a great experience. The staff was nice but the hotel needs a lot of work
- 5/5
Easy check in and out
- 5/5
The staff was beneficial and flexible with last-minute bookings.

Breakfast was very weak. Room was very comfortable & clean.
- 5/5
Our stay was short but great. Our room was sparkling clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Personnel was very kind and in a good mood as well.
- 5/5
We stayed here in between moving from one place to another. Great service, clean rooms, comfy beds. No problems at all.
- 5/5
When planning this trip, I was concerned about location/proximity to VUMC. I had bad luck in the past finding a lot of "dumps" in my price range and they were also further out from the hospital. This hotel was a very decent exception for location and price. The hotel was clean, nicely appointed and just perfect for my needs. The staff was friendly, kind and welcoming. They went out of their way to ensure my stay was perfect. Lots of dining in the area as well-lots within a short walk. The area felt very safe. They also have free parking!! A big bonus for this area!! The "grab and go" breakfast was simple. Only thing I would recommend is adding juice to the beverage choices. There are many fancy hotels in this area if you feel "bougie" is for you. I wanted a clean, comfortable and safe environment where I could get a decent night's rest within my budget.ill be staying here againThis fit the bill perfectly! Thank you!!

- 1/5
This was a horrible experience and I would like a refund.
- 4/5
Good
- 3/5
It's dingy.
- 4/5
Clean and spacious suite. My only minor complaint is that coffee isn’t brewed until 0600, and they only had sweetened coffee creamer.
- 4/5
I wish they told us breakfast ended at 9:30 on Saturday. We got there at 9:30 & it was over. The beds are hard. The place is spotless. The crew is friendly. You can definitely bring your kids. This is family friendly. We are coming again.
- 3/5
I just didn't feel comfortable there. The floor in the room is all hard surface (bedroom and bath) and the recliner is leatherette - nothing warm, cozy or inviting about the room. The grab and go breakfast was disappointing as well. I guess I got what I paid for.
- 4/5
Our stay was overall good and we would return. Few small annoying things - tried exchanging towels at the front desk but no one was available even after ringing the bell and waiting quite some time. Have to ask for anything “extra” in the room - dishes, hair dryer etc. Water pressure was absolutely terrible. Otherwise, it was clean and newer appearing. Free parking was a huge bonus. Quick uber to Broadway.
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
Staff was amazing during our stay
- 4/5
It was nice and quiet. Beds were great. No frills. I felt safe. You need to ask for things like a hair dryer and cups. No coffee machine The free breakfast is basic grab and go stuff. Location was great! And parking was free. It suited my needs.
- 5/5
This place is perfect. Angelia was so helpful woth check in and also with helping with a couple requests I had. I will stay again.
- 5/5
the stay was great. staff was accommodating with everything we needed. there were plenty of kitchen options as far as add ons went. the only gripe i have is the breakfast is pretty mediocre. there's no hot food and basically no variety. it's a little disappointing for an extended stay but we had plenty of groceries for the week.
- 4/5
The property was very clean and safe. Most of the staff were very friendly.
- 5/5
The stay was very pleasant - clean and tidy with a small kitchenette if needed. The staff are lovely and there are some fantastic dining options nearby.
- 3/5
Clean hotel in a central location. Breakfast was below average with one table and 4 chairs in the dining area. Could do a little better to get to 3.5 -4 star level.
- 1/5
the listing was wrong
- 3/5
It's a fine hotel for its purposes, but it's very utilitarian and definitely intended for workers etc. who will be staying there for long periods of time for construction projects etc. No cups or coffee makers in the rooms; you have to request at front desk (although they are happy to accommodate when you do). Short walk to Vanderbilt Univ. Area feels safe.
- 5/5
We chose this location for closeness to the hospitals for surgery. Parking was tight but then again I drive a full size truck. It was on a busy street but crosswalks and a nice park were very close. There are a lot of dining options from fast food to delivery to upscale. I would stay again and this particular hotel was recommended by a friend who has stayed several times.

Liked that it did not have carpet. The room was clean with comfortable beds. Didn’t like noise heard from other rooms and hallway. Bathroom shower head didn’t have enough pressure.
- 5/5
Very friendly and personable staff. Excellent location.
- 3/5
The staff is rude and disrespectful.
- 4/5
The area around the property is not very pretty or pleasant, but hotel was functional and staff were nice. Fair price for what you get.
- 4/5
Only passing through for one night but noticed how convenient it was - short distance off the interstate yet close to Vanderbilt campus and easy drive to all the music venues and honky Toni’s. Safe neighborhood.
- 5/5
It was great, thanks!!
- 4/5
Justin made checkin fast and easy, room was good size and clean.
- 5/5
Good room, comfortable bed, no ice makers, you do your own clean up and trash disposal until day you leave, and ealls are very thin, bring own shampoo and conditioner.. Staff is exceptional though
- 1/5
When we arrived at the hotel yesterday, the check-in staff asked if we were there for the hospital or for something else in Nashville. This surprised us a bit, as it seemed like the hotel primarily served guests who were visiting the nearby hospital. The atmosphere felt more like a place for those who needed to be close to the hospital.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay, nice big clean room, air was nice and cold, quiet place. Alex at the front was courteous and very helpful. Perfect experience!

Rooms are spacious, clean, with uncarpeted floors (preferred). Kitchen area lacked paper towels, refrigerator and ac a little noisy, leather-like chair a little worn, and there was no luggage rack available, but, otherwise, very comfortable, good bed, and, most of all, clean. We did our laundry there (not cheap, but, clean laundry room)—bring your own detergent or pay $2.50 for one load’s worth of detergent. Pleasant staff and pet-friendly a plus. Careful about red ant hill in the back—May want to walk dog in the front or side. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Enjoyed the stay!
- 3/5
Have to think ahead. Do you want to use hair dryer, plates, or silverware? Have to ask from desk. Didn’t realize there was no hair dryer until I went to dry my hair after a shower.

It’s a really nice extended stay.

Staff was fantastic. Someone was always available to answer questions or provide something I needed no matter the time of day or night. Room was very clean and comfortable. They even had some covered parking. The 3 rd floor was quiet. I highly recommend this facility

- 3/5

- 4/5
Lived the kitchen, but nowhere to sit down and eat. Didnt like that we had to ask for everything, use. Dishes, silverware, blow dryer.
- 3/5
It is average hotel. Would be good if we have breakfast so we don’t need to drive outside
