Very basic old Motel. Didnt feel welcoming upon arrival buy it served its purpose as a budget friendly Motel close to Music Row. Easy 10 minute ride into the city.

Great Stay

Towels and wash clothes appeared to be dirty or stained. We had our own. Sheets were wrinkled and also had old stains. We swept out the bed and sprayed Lysol for our own peace of mind. Shower was hot with good water pressure. Expensive but we slept well. No coffee maker in room. Ty.

In the room they moved me to, I had to kill a big cockroach on the wall. There was no way to take a bath only a shower. The heater in this room was not working so the staff gave me a space heater. Weirdly enough, the tv was not set to cable settings however a staff member did come up and fix it.

There are literal prostitutes approaching vehicles at this motel. Do not stay here

The room smelled like cigarettes. The bedding had cigarette burn marked in it. The whole room was completely filthy the half bath shower had pee stains on the bottom of the tub. The light switch doesn’t work very well so you have to and I quote from the receptionist, “jiggle it a bit.” We stayed in room number 28. We definitely will never come back and will never book a hotel with reed hotel or any hotel that is associated with reed hotel. Do NOT BOOK your stay at this horrible hotel, you will regret it.

I’m ALWAYS one to check ratings and reviews before booking. This place must have made up their own reviews! They must’ve paid family members to make stuff up. The minute I pulled into the parking lot I had a feeling of unease. Looks NOTHING like it did online. It also says it’s close to music row. NOPE it is NOT! It’s like 10-15-20 minutes away depending on traffic. When I went to check in and they don’t open the window enough to be able to talk to and hear them it made it worse. You can’t walk inside to check in. You just stand by the window outside feeling like you’re doing a drug deal or renting it by the hour. SKETCHY and SKEEVY are two words for the ENTIRE vibe of this place. I saw several of the unoccupied rooms were just open doors so anyone could walk in. Red flag. I checked in and thought maybe it’s not so bad in the room. I walked in and right back out! It was a big NO I am NOT staying here!! I tried to be friendly and simply explain that I did not feel safe to stay here overnight. Could I please just cancel the reservation. Of course it’s non refundable. $200 that I lost on this mistake of a reservation!!! You’d think a $200 a night room would be decent. Final thoughts are DO NOT STAY HERE!!! It DOES NOT look like the online pictures. I’m really not boujie or super fancy. I’ve stayed in a Motel 6 and Super 8 and been perfectly happy. This place is an absolute nightmare.

If you'll notice, this Motel is a historic motel; was built in the 1960s and still maintains it's original outward charm. It is important to keep these kind of motels alive.I would definitely stay there again. Thanks to the staff for their outstanding service.

Staff was friendly. Room was available very last minute. No unexpected charges. Not the cleanest, most comfortable room. But it was quiet and staff was nice. Great for a quick one night stay.

nothing bugs(cockroach) in bathroom, couldn’t reach air conditioning to turn it on, no working lock on the door, no wifi access
- 1/5
hardly nothing the beds are terribly uncomfortable as well as the pillows they give you. the towels are very small. By far the worst shower I have ever experienced in my life with non existent water pressure. The tv had very poor picture quality and remotes hardly worked without smashing the buttons. The place is nothing like what’s in the pictures. Looks very ran down would not go back again
