It was the most Meh place I’ve stayed but the light was about to fall out of the ceiling and the area is sketchy

The listing is VERY MISLEADING. We only booked this stay for one night, thankfully. Did NOT feel safe in this area at all! There were a bunch of sketchy, possibly homeless, drug-involved people that clearly hang out in the abandoned lot right in front of this Super 8. They walk up and down the street screaming and yelling for each other and we did not feel safe walking across the street to the bus station. The parking lot was atrocious. The room photos are a FAR CRY from what the rooms actually looked like, at least for ours. The bathroom was incredible small, barely enough room to stand in there and the door was filthy! Sink area and closet was fine. The Tv remote didn't work. The mini fridge kept making a noise nonstop. The air unit was very loud and never cut off. People were screaming in the parking lot outside at 3am. The couch & chairs should be hauled off to the dump; didn't even sit on them. The mattress had very questionable red/orange stains on it and the wall facing those stains ALSO had stains...it was absolutely disgusting! Either the fire alarm or the carbon monoxide alarm had a plastic bag over it. We booked it because it was affordable and the ratings didn't seem that bad... but boy, was it wrong! Thankfully a friend from the concert we were in town for, gave us a ride back that night because we did NOT feel safe taking the bus back to that area!! (The bus that runs that route out of Downtown was the dirtiest bus we've been on...NYC buses ARE CLEANER!!)
- 2/5
The staff at check-in was on a phone call the entire time while we checked in. The room had a smoke-like smell for a non-smoking room. The shower/bathtub was dirty-looking. The tv and fridge were plugged into a power strip that had to be stretched and plugged into the wall upon us getting into the room.

Not one thing I could say positive about this place at all. Nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Felt like I was going to get an STD from sleeping there. Prostitution all around. Crackheads all around. Dangerous area. Standing water in the bathtub.

It was a place to sleep.

Is this place a front for organ harvesting. Very rude front desk. Do not recommend.
- 2/5
It's in a pretty sketchy part of town. The bottom floor facing the street overlooks a vacant parking lot that is occupied by prostitutes and homeless people. I think this is the side of the motel that is reserved for Expedia and other discount customers. I kept having to re-magnetize my key which the staff kept blaming on me putting it too close to my keys, but I don't know. The whole place was pretty dirty and not the usual Super 8 quality.

Clean and tidy. Good sized room. Friendly staff. Not too far from downtown or the airport. Food outlets very close. It was all as described. No real bad points
- 1/5
No running shower for my room, after they switch me to a different room. Not every cleaned at all, probably be my last decision to book.
- 3/5
It was Okay
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff was very nice, breakfast was very basic with very little variety, ice machine was not working but one of the workers went and bought ice and brought it to our room- overall not too bad for a one night stay
- 1/5
I chose this hotel based on the advertisements, but it looks nothing like the website. The maintenance is severely lacking: Cleanliness: Found hair on the bed upon arrival. Air Quality: The AC filters were clogged with dirt, which is a huge health concern. Facilities: The hallway floors are cracking in several areas. It feels like the management has given up on upkeep while still charging luxury prices. Save your money and stay somewhere that actually values hygiene.

Room are clean and the service is awesome. Good restaurants around and close to downtown and airport.
- 2/5
It was 12 minutes from my venue The location wasn’t great but that was my choice. I didn’t research the area. The structure of the property was very old and outdated. Could use a deep cleaning inside and out. Homeless people walking around the parking lot.
- 4/5
Despite horrible weather and a 27 hour power outage, the staff was very helpful and as accommodating as possible under the circumstances.
- 2/5
Room was nasty, they gave us one towel and one wash cloth for 5 people when asked for more they said it would be the next morning they needed brought them, no remote for the tv, the bathroom was extremely small and the door rubbed the floor, the toilet kept running all night long, the microwave didn’t have the turn table on it, the carpet had staples coming through it, none of the outlets worked accept one so we had to unplug the tv to charge our devices, the bed was extremely comfortable though so that was a plus! The staff was very nice and approachable, I also told my husband the wrong room number and he was actually able to use our key card to get into that wrong room so we felt a lil unsettling knowing we could use our card for other doors! Lots and lots of homeless around the property and on the property! I never felt unsafe though! It was a place to sleep we’re not a very picky family
- 5/5
Good service
- 1/5
The rooms were outdated, but like I said I expected that there were cobwebs in every corner and mold growing by the door that I didn't notice until the day we left. Another big problem was when I checked in and got our keys. The man in the desk announced our room number while there were other people in the lobby and it was just me traveling with three young girls.
- 4/5
Breakfast was really just coffee and cereal so I never bothered with going down for it. Bed was big and soft (and very tall, too) Room and location was quite close to downtown with bus stops right out front, but the walk to my room was still a good 600ft, up slope. Ice machine was long since broken, but helpful office staff brought some nightly from somewhere with a phone call.
- 4/5
Ac was good
- 3/5
The staff was helpful at check-in but after that not so much. It took 3 calls to get towels and I never got the hangers I requested. The room was mostly clean but very very old. The bed was comfortable and clean.
- 2/5
website said continental breakfast, the only option was cereal and a honey bun
- 3/5
But very poor maintenance here.
- 1/5
This is probably one of the worst Hotel I have ever stayed. The card is using very old system, and I have to basically go back to the receptionist to get a new room key every time., the hotel is very out of maintenance and things are barely working. The most disgusting thing is the Hotel is very gross. Things does not seem clean and the bedsheet smells. I have even seen a chunk of hair on the hair blower.. OMfG
- 1/5
This place NEEDS TO BE TURN DOWN!!!!!! i wouldn't let my dog stay here. The place smelled like someone peed in the ac unit, It was so dirty and stunk, we didn't stay. Unsafe hookers and homeless people around, we didn't feel safe at all. The location wasn't ether. Asked for a refund and got denied, but we left anyway. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone.
- 3/5
You get what you pay for: While fairly close to downtown Nashville and reasonably priced, the hotel needs lots of work: the door to the bathroom could not be shut, the shower leaked water onto the floor, and the A/C had trouble keeping up with the heat. In addition, to get to the room, we had to walk through a covered outdoor area which had many bird nests dropping bird poop all over the sidewalks and stairs. Very unsanitary and gross!
- 2/5
The saying goes you get what you pay for. Stated here just to crash for the night. Nothing special, the pictures are definitely done up then what’s actually in reality.
- 2/5
Beds were comfortable which earned this motel another star. Shoes had to remain on because the floors were so dirty. "Breakfast" was supposed to be offered but they only offered fruit loops and raisin bran with whole milk. Room stated that it sleeps 5 but really it had 2 queen beds and a chaise lounge chair.
- 5/5
Area around hotel is a little rough
- 1/5
Room was smelling like cigarette smoke and toilet was broke. Then they transferred me to another room and shower poll was broke and cigarette holes all over bed sheets and graffiti all over bathroom. Supervisor was rude and did not want to refund my money when I asked for it. But I left anyway. I told them they should check rooms after people leave.
- 3/5
Burn holes in covers. It was a smoke free room and it smelt like an ash tray in the room. There were no condiments set out for shampoo and soaps.

- 5/5
Great service for the price. I really enjoyed my time here
- 3/5
This property advertised a free breakfast and the facilities was not set up for that at all. There was cereal out that looked like it was there for years and fridge with water and juice for a charge. The room was outdated which was fine but no one cleaned the room for entire stay. 3 nights. It was noisy as the door had a gap at the bottom. The pool that is advertised was not in service. Closed off and not even running. The area isn't the greatest either. Would have spent extra next time and stayed downtown.
- 4/5
Shower had no pressure and did not go above tap warm. Freezer was frozen over and made a lot of noise. Room door did not lock on it's own, came back after being out for the day, keycard didn't work, but door pushed open without key. Staff was friendly and addressed issues.
- 2/5
Saw two roaches inside the room. TV remote didn't work.
- 3/5
Nothing
- 2/5
Whata Dump but the price wasn't bad
- 1/5
The deadbolt on the door is like a front gate, not safe at all. Curtains won’t fully close. The comforter had burn holes on it. Painting fell off the wall in the middle of the night and hit my friend in the face and made him bleed. The lamp’s bulb was hanging off the side (electrical hazard). Also there was mold coming out of the shower head. The TV speakers were so quiet we had to turn it up to 100 to hear it. The bathroom smelt like pee as soon as we got there. They don’t change sheets or towels for three days unless you ask for that. There were stains on the sheets of the bed. Honestly wouldn’t recommend to anyone and would love to talk to the owner of this hotel.
- 5/5
Pros: affordable, easy access to the MTA bus line into downtown Nashville. Desk folks were very nice. Cons: I left a pair of shoes in my room which mysteriously "dissappeard". I guess my boots were made for walking and left the premises on their own. Disappointed that I wasn't able to arrange for them to be mailed back to me. My fault for accidently leaving them.
- 5/5
Old school room
- 2/5
If you are looking for just a place to sleep, this is fine. Beds were comfy and neat but everything else was old and worn. Didn't want to take my shoes off. Saw some bugs too. Bring your own shampoo if you want anything good and when we went down to have breakfast at 8 (so, not even very early) the door was locked and no one was there. Tried again a bit later but still no one and we had to leave.
- 1/5
There were multiple lights out. Daisy chaining extension cords that I almost tripped over. Mold in the bathroom. Cigarette burns in the blankets. Actual semen on the bedspread. So unsanitary I wouldn't even let my animals stay there and they refused a refund.
- 1/5
Honestly the must disappointing hotel I’ve ever stayed in…I left before my booking was up, I saw so many roaches, the painting on the wall fell onto the bed, key card worked only half the time, the door would move even when locked, burn holes in the comforter and curtain, and it doesn’t seem like it has been cleaned to one’s best ability.
- 1/5
Needs upgradee
- 2/5
Now to the not so good…went to take shower next morning, shower head was leaking. Managed to get it tightened enough to get showers so we could start our day. Went to have “ continental breakfast” it was only cereal and coffee from what we could find. Also told front seat about shower. Came back from our day of site seeing and shopping, to no shower fixed, no trash can emptied, bed not made, no clean towels. Now I can deal with the towels and the bed, but we specifically asked about the shower. The next day the toilet wasn’t flushing right. Again told the front desk, and again it wasn’t fixed. So all in all our trip was great, but would be nice if the hotel would fix things when they are told about it.
- 4/5
Convenient shopping. Lots of restaurants and food choices.
- 1/5
I had to wait for my Uber driver outside in the cold because he was going to check the rooms.
- 1/5
The hotel is NOT clean. I was approached on site by a prostitute while with my family. The toilet was not secured to the floor at all and moved to the point of Leaking when used. All over the walls were bodily fluids, boogers, food, blood etc. It was a miserable stay and id never do it again. Talked to the desk they said leave whatever review i felt necessary. RUN. They don't care and will not listen.
- 3/5
I had no heat in the first room assigned, and I had roaches in the second. The water was hot in the sink, but luke warm in the shower
- 1/5
Friendly staff but this place is nasty crack pipes in the parking lot
- 1/5
Not friendly
- 2/5
Got cat fished. The pic is different the beds are correct but the couch was small and crusty
- 2/5
There were cockroaches in our room. It was dirty and felt very unsafe.
- 5/5
Very nice customer service
- 1/5
Cigarette burns and semen stains all over the bedding, door patch job where it had been kicked in, carpet was so hard from not being cleaned in years, black mold throughout, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night several times, every surface was disgusting, couch torn, furniture broken, ownership aggressive and racist. Literally the least safe place I have ever stayed.
- 3/5
Experience was standard for the price, customer service was good.
- 1/5
Dirty room, with a strong smell. Bed linens with stains. Half a roll of toilet paper, clogged toilet, dirty bathtub, sink with hair. Dirty ironing board. The reservation was for 4 guests and there were 2 towels, when we requested more, the hotel key was not there. Trash cans in the hotel's common area were full. There is no breakfast!!! What they have is bad coffee, cereal and an open gallon of milk. Terrible accommodation, I do not recommend it.
- 1/5
Wifi didn't work, paint was peeling off the walls, outlets don't work
- 1/5
Scratchy pillows and bedding, doors that I wish closed more, and terrible lighting just scratch the surface. The final nail in the coffin for me was the laundry. They don’t provide laundry services. I know because I asked the front desk where laundry was and was told to go down the street. I was a little confused by this, the property had listed laundry as one of its amenities. I showed the lady at the front desk this and she said that the “laundry” was for bedding and other hotel uses. When I said that they should remove “laundry” from their amenity list if they don’t provide it she started yelling at me. All around terrible. Spend the extra $20 to be treated decently.
- 2/5
Dirty. Dingy. Run down.
- 5/5
Acceptable stay. I would use the facility again.
- 2/5
The property needs to be upgraded
- 1/5
This place is gross
- 1/5
Worst hotel ever. This place should be condemned!
- 4/5
The room was clean. The clerk was super helpful with a problem we had with parking. The amenities are none. Four od us in a room with 2 towels. Asked for more, never got them. Probably would have of we kicked up a fuss. They are remodeling two of the buildings. Sketchy parking lot inhabitants and poor location.
- 1/5
Every time we entered the room the key card would not work. Needed assistance EVERY time. Had to buy $10 worth of water bottles because no change in office. Cockroaches in room. Kept suitcases and personal items on tables/desk to avoid bugs. No refreshing of towels. Would not recommend this hotel.
- 2/5
I Do Not recommend this hotel to Anyone staying in the area. Cheapest rooms and i guess that's why, i got what i payed for, never again.
- 3/5
Found a roach in the room and took a picture. She said she was going to call me for another room but never did or bother to call me.
- 1/5
Shower head did not work and I was too busy on a work trip to deal with changing rooms. Had to take baths using a cup of water which was not fun. Area isn’t the safest, had a few sketchy people wandering the parking lot at night.
- 1/5
There were roachesnand it was in disrepair. They did provide a complementary roll away bed for my kids.
- 1/5
Terrible conditions. Very old and run done. Musty smell. Bedding, pillows all very old.
- 3/5
Not terrible
- 2/5
Came in and the lamp for the desk was broken on our room, sink stopped draining, let the front desk know and never got fixed
- 1/5
It was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Horrible. Insects everywhere, shower doesn’t work, iron doesn’t work, very poor lighting in the room. Service is beyond terrible. Every time I wanted anything they had a paper saying “Desk clerk is helping another customer” and there was no one there. There’s a terrible smell at the front desk, which consistently remained there for three days. I had to change the door card a couple of times because it stopped working. I had a sense of unsafety staying there and I checked out two nights early because of them. Such a bad hotel, I cannot stress this enough. Never stay there.
- 4/5
its good
- 3/5
The room smelled like a dump, the sink and shower were broken, the bathtub was filled with water and felt like it was going to cave in. Plus one of the lamps was broken. Glad I only had to stay for one night. The beds looked good at least
- 2/5
Room wasin abandoned building and dated with old square box TV. Door barely closed.
- 1/5
The room was stale and smelled of smoke. It was a non -smoking room. The bathroom that I had to straddle the toilet to get the door closed did have a shower with running water! The baseboards of tile were laid against the wall, because the wall was rotten. The room opened overlooking a gas station.
- 1/5
Room was “non-smoking” but wreaked of cigarettes. Rust in shower looked like blood. Ash was found throughout the room, doesn’t seem to have been cleaned thoroughly. Have stayed in the area before but this place felt unsafe. Checked out before we even stayed the night.
- 2/5
The tv didnt work and no one came up to fix it !! They keep tello g me someone will be up to look at it never did. Had to the other hotel to get coffee and they didnt serve breakfast.. not.a good place to stay mo clean towels said we will exchange them when you check out!!!
- 3/5
Broken shower head, dirty tables, duvet cover filled with burned cigarette holes!!!! Absolutely disgusting. Upon arriving back one evening stumbled upon a naked patron peeing on the balcony who later peeked into my window. Unsafe :(
- 2/5
Key card did not work most of the time. Walls were dirty.
- 1/5
I did not feel safe and there were people outside my room talking most of the night. Broken elements: shower handle, refrigerator, hair dryer No internet and limited tv Motel is built into a hill so I had trouble parking and getting to my room.
- 3/5
Manager was rude.. facility is old.. limit excess to plugs..no USB access...tv did not work. Lights are old....this place is run down..
- 3/5
Run down. Curtains had tears. Residual smell of years of smoking. Drawer handle broken. TP holder torn off wall. Just plain sad.
- 1/5
Cockroaches and bugs. I would not return to this hotel, very bad experience.
- 1/5
The room was not clean had no towels the whole stay my toilet was stopped up I went to the front desk and they did nothing to fix it I asked for the manger they wasn't available 250 dollars just wasted
- 2/5
The staff was friendly but the room smelled a little weird. You could see daylight through bottom of hotel room door. There were holes in wall. Black powder or mold around door hinges and when we went to get breakfast there was only 2 kinds cereal and honey buns, coffee, apple juice, and orange juice. I got a cup of orange juice took a sip then noticed bugs floating in it so i showed the desk clerk pored it out and proceeded to clean it with some napkins. Then poured again still a couple bug and showed them and said you should clean inside it... if i get sick from taking a sip of bug juice i know from where
- 1/5
Cockroaches, key pad was broken, refused to switch rooms when asked.
- 1/5
We had a reservation and when we got there it was no rooms available for us...Terrible service!!!
- 1/5
Disgusting room obviously an ex smoking room- left and asked for money back
- 4/5
Could be cleaner. But fine for the money
- 3/5
At check in, lady didn’t speak English
- 2/5
We found a couple of roaches in the room. A pair of underwear was behind the TV stand along with lots of dust. There were at least 3 boxes in the room for bugs. Needed to be cleaned better. The gentlemen at the desk was very nice. But we will never stay there again.
- 1/5
Employee was not nice at check in, conditions in the room were even worse (holes in the wall, drywall falling down, graffiti on walls, would love to have a refund have pictures to prove, have never had such a bad experience with super 8.
- 1/5
Dirty, got bites from bed bugs and rooms smelled of smoke even though non-smoking room. Shower didn’t work and didn’t have the room we reserved upon arrival. Gum stuck to walls and stains. Old food from precious guests left in the fridge. Pretty sure they didn’t change the sheets. Foul. Wont ever stay here again. Don’t risk it
- 2/5
After checking in, I found the room in a general state of disrepair, though to my surprise electricity and running water were available. However, the bathroom sink did not drain at all. It was completely occluded, as all the water I used to wash my hands was still present in the morning when I left. No insects were visible, likely owing to the multiple glue bug traps I spied under the bed. Door bolt worked, thankfully. On the plus side, I was not stabbed, in which case I would have been forced to assign this property only one star.

They advertise free breakfast, but it's a lie. There is a dry cereal dispenser that sits out all day and night. One is empty and the other looks like it should have gone down with the Titanic.
- 1/5
This property needs to be shut down. There were 60 bugs in my bed after being told my room had just had pest services come through
- 3/5
I seen four cockroaches seriously it’s true I did. I don’t know if that’s common are not. Sorry for having to bring this to your attention, but it made me think if they would be in my clothes are not. It made me a little nervous. The next morning I told the front desk I seen them. Lester Paul Quinn.

AVOID!!!!!! Checked in a 3pm drunks passed out outside the rooms. Went to our concert came back at 1 am someone was in our room. The guy ahead of us at the customer desk was given a room and walked in on two people in bed doing the dirty. They asked for a different room and was given one with roaches. There were no rooms available so they asked for a refund. In which case I asked also. We were denied and at 2 am I’m not arguing. When Expedia called them they told Expedia we checked out at 11pm. Which is false the concert was not over until 12am. Avoid at all cost!
- 4/5
Nice two star
- 1/5
We checked in and checked out within minutes. Drug deals and prostitutes in the parking lot of the hotel while we were checking in. No pool as advertised and they are turning the majority of the rooms into apartments. Would not recommend
- 1/5
Disgusting - cockroach infested room, running on Tv console, walls and floors. 2” x 2” hole in bathroom wall teaming with cockroaches. Booked 2 queens and sofa bed for 5 of us - sofa bed not made. Absolutely gross, dirty room.
- 5/5
Beautiful little Gem! Great size room, beautiful carpet, and lots of Peace & Quietness.
- 1/5
The staff was nice but the room was dirty, cockroaches n the room, two of the lamps didnt work and one didnt have a light bulb in it, the toilet wasnt screwed into the fllor and the toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall and the hair dryer cord was cut from the wall. The breakfast was just cereal. Im not going to stay there again. The bathtub felt like it was going to fall thru any minute
- 5/5
I liked that this was close enough for us to continue with our trip without going to far off track. Awsome customer support!
- 3/5
I had a good time in Nashville and the hotel was ok. Just needed some TLC on the room. I tripped on the carpet that was stuck folded up to many times to count 😔. But all in all it was a cool place
- 3/5
Went to the concert & didn’t go back
- 2/5
Bugs in the microwave oven when you heated your food. Writing on walls in bathroom. Hole in the wall by the bathroom But the bed was comfortable.
- 1/5
Awful. Any dollar spent here is too much.
- 1/5
My window along with 4 others had their window smashed out and 1 car was stolen.
- 5/5
Closer to good gas and liquor
- 3/5
Felt unsafe
- 2/5
Yuck. Semi warm shower. Won’t stay again.
- 1/5
Not a place I would personally stay at , checked in and checked out within minutes , no refund but my own fault should of done some research on the place , bugs in room , stains on bed sheets , no thanks .
- 2/5
When I arrived they told me I had selected a smoking room (I NEVER do that) and that they only had non-smoking rooms if I upgraded to a higher priced room. The parking lot
- 5/5
Run-of-the-mill super 8 no frills no fuss. Only three negatives were the loud noise the shower made it sounded like a saw was cutting through the pipes
- 3/5
This isn’t a place I’ll come back again when I have my daughter with me. If it’s just for a quick sleep for a night yes. But the “sofa bed” didn’t work and it was very out dated.
