Reviews
The hotel is generally well-liked for its convenient location near subway stations and popular attractions. Guests appreciate the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, as well as the friendly and helpful staff. However, there are frequent complaints about noise, both from inside and outside the hotel. Some guests also express disappointment with the lack of certain amenities, such as a working ice machine, free continental breakfast, and adequate parking facilities.

Excellent front desk people

Location was very good. Close to SoHo. Subway outside the hotel. Room size was decent. One of two elevators was not working during our week long stay. Front office staff were indifferent to the inconvenience this caused the guests. Hotel does not serve breakfast or any meals.

It’s clean and the cleaning lady was nice No breakfast
- 3/5
The air conditioning worked but no way was the temperature reading accurate - I was unable to achieve the temperature I was hoping for. The shower head also left something to be desired. However, location was great. It was clean and safe. No frills.
- 4.5/5
Very convenient for the group I was with. Very clean The only complaint I have is that only one elevator was working and it took a very long time to arrive.

Good location with lots of restaurants and a subway stop nearby. As previous reviews have mentioned, only 1 elevator was working. Shower water pressure was too high.

Apart from this - the hotel was clean and my stay was fine.
- 3.5/5
only one working elevator - the other was broken.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and roomier than most NYC hotels. Staff were super-friendly, attentive, and helpful. While the location is excellent, it's noisy AF, as it's so close to the Holland Tunnel. We still had a great stay and if you're looking for a reasonably priced option downtown, definitely give this place a go.
- 5/5
Relación precio calidad muy buena
- 5/5
The rooms are nice, even the smaller ones. One bummer was that there was only 1 elevator available because the other was broken the whole time of my stay. Also, priced more on the “reasonable “ side, at least $100 less expensive than others in the area per night
- 5/5

Great location. Clean and quiet (for location).
- 5/5
I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was. The only reason I did not give the staff a perfect mark is that no one could explain the meaning of the unusual name of the hotel!
- 5/5
This hotel in Tribeca felt more intimate although it’s Manhattan. They gave us hot chocolate and tea during our stay. The staff were extremely friendly, the hotel has a bodega right across the street and $1.50 pizza slices. You can pull off saving a few bucks or stick closely to your budget in this area. There are also many upscale dining places in the area.
- 3/5
The hotel I made my arrangements with was the Holiday inn express with a restaurant . When we arrived it was no longer a holiday inn and tgeee was Bo restaurant. We were never even notified of any changes until we were checking in.
- 4/5
Great location with many cool little spots nearby. Of you have a problem with street noise please get an interior room. I had a room with city view and it was non stop sirens and activity. Nice and clean room. Extremely hot water..be careful

Es la ideal si vienes de otro estado y no conoces es la ideal dejas tienen para dejar tu carro seguro dentro del mismo hotel tienen desayuno puedes entrar y salir del hotel sin problemas con una llave de acceso también con el carro todo excelente

I genuinely love it. Was there for only a night. Wish it was longer. I realized the restaurant AOA was bordering it. Its no longer in business, but that also was a good restaurant. We need more places like this that check out is at 12pm. Nice view of 6th Ave from the room no matter what floor you on. They'll be seeing me again 💪

I liked how spacious the rooms were, and that the tv had hdmi compatability.
- 4/5
Great location for what I needed and in a very trendy area. My only complaint was that the elevator was slow.
- 5/5
It was a clean and safe place. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. Checking in and out was a easy breeze. I would absolutely recommend. In a great spot near the train station and great eateries. Definitely would stay again.

We did have to call for help with the tv since scrolling the channels didn’t work. You need to enter the # you want. We liked the place and would return. Valet parking worked great along with morning coffee.

A simple hotel with all you need. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, this place is not for you. This hotel is slightly dated but it has every. Amenity that a reasonable individual could want. Subway is 50 yards from hotel. Nice people
- 4/5
Well I have stayed here during the height of covid and through hotel renovations. I also think the hotel has had a name change it was the Tribeca Hilton Hotel. In short, very nice but subtle if one is interested in the chic artsy European atomsphere of the neighborhood then this hotel will be best. Furthermore, the hotel appears eclectic enough to include family, single, and business travelers.
- 3/5
Pleasant
- 1.5/5
Knocking in the door at 9 am to ask tou stupid question. Are you leaving at 11? What a stupid question to ask someone that they have late sleep . We all know what check out time is
- 5/5
Staff was helpful and friendly, location was extremely convenient. Rooms and building were very clean. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and good quality, toiletries were nice too. But one of two elevators was out of order for the whole stay (4 nights) . . .
- 4/5
The lights in the room were a little harsh - might want to swap out the lamp bulbs with warmer color temperatures. The water in the shower was cold. Only on one day was it able to get warm so I took several cold showers.
- 2/5
I reserved a room with a jacuzzi, for my autistic son who loves bubble baths. The jacuzzi wasn't working, and we had to go home. He had a tantrum that lasted all evening

Only one elevator working (same as last year at this time) and one day even that wasn’t working. No coffee anywhere on the property. They said the machine was broken! For $50 they could have bought one at target! This property has very nice staff, tubs in the bathroom and we like the location. But the details get worse every year.
- 3/5
Room was decent, lobby was decorated nicely, evening staff was not very friendly when I checked in, however the day time staff was friendlier during check out and liked that they held our bags after checkout since our flight was later. The restaurant was closed for renovations which really was the only amenity. The subway was really close so going into the city wasn’t too bad.
- 2/5
The tv did not with at all and we reported this every single day- with a promise of a tech to look at it. When we checked out we told them again..,
- 4/5
Basic but clean and functional. Rooms quite nice.

This is our 2nd time in this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and quiet. The water in the shower can be a little hotter; other than that, our stay was lovely. The water in the shower can be a little hotter; other than that, our stay was lovely.

The pillows were too soft
- 0.5/5
Nothing. The fact that when our plans changed, it was VERY DIFFICULT to cancel the booking, and we ended up paying for a full night's stay. It's quite noticeable how easy it is to book but incredibly difficult to cancel. This could be a Booking.com thing, which means I won't be using them again,
- 5/5
Clean and great location
- 4/5
Drag that the restaurant was only breakfast. Staff were friendly. Not fancy, but OK.
- 2.5/5
Needs major renovations. Room needs a fresh paint coat. Patched everywhere. The fan is extremely loud and made so much noise I couldn’t sleep. There is no soundproofing in the hotel - you can hear all traffic and noise outside. There are no slipper or robe provided either.
- 5/5
Great location and very quiet
- 3/5
Te property is outdated and needs to be freshened up. The biggest issue is tha I thought I was staying and I had booked a hotel room at a Hilton hotel. Apparently this is not a Hilton property any longer and was sold a week or so ago. I was not made aware of this before checking in and it may have changed my plans as I am loyal to the hotel brand to help with hotel stay credits for status.
- 2.5/5
The location is good, however, when we checked in the hotel was in the process of changing over from a Hilton to this AMTD hotel. The staff was not fully sure of breakfast (no longer included and not sure there would be a breakfast) and we had to check in each morning to get a voucher. Bed was very firm and room was small. Bed was very firm and room was small. Also, coffee in the lobby was only out until 10 am, no time for second cup. Ice was only on floor 5 (though the sign stated it was also on 4). Lots of noise and bustle due to all the changes to the new hotel. Also, pretty sure there was mold in the A/C as my husband's allergies went through the roof each night in the room, but not during the day when we were out of the room (he is highly allergic to mold). And, the safe in the closet was not able to be opened fully (not usable), shoe rack shoved in the closet also not usable, and had we had any long suits/dresses we could not have hung them up due to the shoe rack. TV Guide on TV did not match up with the channels that were available either.
- 3/5
The reception staff and cleaners/maintenance staff were lovely and kind, helping with any questions we had. However the staff members in the restaurant seemed like they didn’t want to be there and came across a bit rude. Overall the hotel was a bit dated but it was clean and in a good location (right next to the subway to explore the city) so worth the money.
- 1/5
False advertising- was booked as Hilton. Arrived and no signage to say otherwise- but was in fact NOT a Hilton. Also valet service and guest service was horrible. I feel like I was lured into staying by Priceline’s deceptive practices
- 2/5
Room was not properly cleaned -- hair in the sink, toilet roll holder was broken, wallpaper near the door was peeling / torn, curtains did not fully close (only about 70%).
- 3/5
The convenience of the property was great. The HVAC needs to be updated. There’s a thermostat in th room but no vents and it didn’t control the window / wall heater. Only one elevator worked the whole trip. I did like having the mini fridge and the microwave. Beds were comfortable but trying to control the temp in the room was difficult.
- 5/5
nice
- 5/5
Great Location. Would stay again. Tribeca has great quite vibes and good restaurants but super close to SoHo, China Town, Little Italy. Do your self a favor and eat at Bubbys!
- 5/5
Great Hotel. Great location, this hotel has 3 subway station around it. You can walk to Little Italy and Chinatown. The hotel is very clean, the hotel staff are friendly and kind.
- 4/5
1 elevator was broken. The other was very slow. Restaurant was awful. Nobody ate there the 3 days that we were there. We tried but they were out of everything. I don’t think it is an active eatery.
- 4/5
Staff was very nice. Room was clean. Restaurant was horrible. Shouldn’t advertise that there is food on site. Nobody eats there and they are out of most foods if you try to eat there.
- 5/5
Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
- 3/5
Location is great. Lobby and restaurant option was good. Desk staff were very nice. The rooms are in need of upgrading.

Horrible parking, had to wait an hour for the valet to park and retrieve my vehicle. Room was small, room phone didn't work. Checked out on Saturday, couldn't give me a receipt when I left. The restaurant food was horrible 😫
- 5/5
Hot chocolate and coffee in the morning! It was all great.

Great location, nice people around
- 5/5
I liked my stay. It was clean.
- 3/5
The staff is nice. It is clean. The hotel could use some updates.
- 5/5
Staff was great , room was perfect and amenities were good ! Hotel is conveniently close to a lot of the things we wanted to do ! Only down fall is no early check in (the staff were good about it and tried their best to accommodate our early arrival).
- 4/5
Room was tidy and adequate. Location is superb
- 5/5
The room was very clean and the staff was very kind and warm. I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and walking distance to SoHo, West village,Chinatown. Rooms are spacious.

Friendly, excellent staff service, clean
- 3/5
Elevators took so long. Breakfast options were very limited. However, I love that the train station was right next to the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful
- 3/5
Smile at guests, faster elevator, better explanation at check inntime
- 3/5
Okay but nothing special

Great location, great service! Reception was very helpful answering questions, and checking in/out was a smooth, efficient process. I would gladly stay here again!

Nice Location, nice hotel and clean hotel
- 4/5
Yes, room was very clean and staff were helpful.
- 5/5
The room was clean, the location was great, right outside the ACE Canal St station, and the staff was great
- 1/5
Horrible staff and they charged for Anita that I didn’t use and never wanted to pay back and their managers are never present, this hotel is a joke and should eject have these prices overpriced and overrated and I will never stay there
- 4/5
No free water bottle
- 5/5
Nice and clean
- 4/5
great location!
- 5/5
Really conveniently right on the Beach St exit from the subway. The neighborhood was nice, and the room was as-described. The view was of a brick wall, but I guess there is only so much you can do about that!
- 5/5
The front desk was amazing, we had a guy and a girl! The rooms were clean and spacious. The elevators took forever but obviously they have no control over that. We were able to check in early which was nice and keep our luggage stored until we were ready to check in and out. It was in the middle of everything and right by a subway station. Definitely recommend!!!
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Quiet room. Excellent heating.
- 4.5/5
Only one elevator was working, and it was slow. The other had no sign indicating that it was being worked on. So waiting to get up and down from my 6th floor room was slow.
- 4/5
Room was clean, service was good, just wish had a few extra blankets in the room
- 4/5
Clean nice place,

- 4/5
Size of the room was big for NYC…hot water great…coffee in the room
- 3/5
The hotel is clean enough and in a decent location. It definitely feels very dated. One of two elevators didn’t work the entire time I was there (5 days), and the other elevator was exceptionally slow. It was the only way staff could get up and down too, so you were often riding with trash bags or laundry, or having to wait because it was full. The staff was nice enough- not super welcoming, but they did their job. The heat was not controlled in my room - the system in the room was broken- and even after asking multiple times my room was always very very hot. I almost wanted to crack a window even tho it was snowing outside! The uber drop off and pickup is on a side street, so Ubers had a very hard time finding me and often cancelled after missing the turn, so allow a LOt of extra time for a pickup or just use the subway. (No elevator or escalator at that station, so just beware of heavy bags!).
- 5/5
The room was very clean, staff were very nice and polite.
- 3/5
The common areas and the room definitely need some updates. The paint was peeling. There were scuff marks all over the walls. One night the elevator stopped working, although they did fix it really quickly.
- 4/5
Hilton garden inn TriBeCa was a very conveniently located hotel with several subway options ranging from 2 mins to 10 mins distance. The rooms were clean, check-in very smooth and the staff very helpful. It’s could do with a bit if an upgrade on the rooms - somewhat worn and only one lift was working at all times so that was a bit of a wait. Other than that it was a great option for the price.
- 4/5
Thanks to the staff for making our stay and my daughters 16th bday memorable.
- 4/5
Great location. Nice rooms.
- 5/5
مرا خدمه رائعه وجميله ممن الفندق
- 3/5
The elevator was slow , only 1 was working, the restaurant and bar was closed.
- 4/5
Nice and convenient. Everyone was friendly. Just wish the elevators were both working.
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 2/5
There were no curtains on the windows. The windows on the neighboring building looked directly into my room an I couldn’t do anything about it. And I couldn’t block out the light so I could sleep longer. Inexcusable invasion of privacy
- 5/5
Very nice
- 4/5
The hotel restaurant was a disappointment the food and service were mid. The price was high (72$ for 2) tip was automatic 25% and the non attentive waitress asked for an additional tip. So be aware. The uber was around 80-90$ to and from the hotel if it matters.
- 5/5
everything good
- 4/5
The room was fine, the staff was helpful but only one elevator working was a major pain point. When on the 6th floor, we timed one afternoon at almost 10 minutes, after that, we took the stairs, do better. The restaurant is only open for breakfast, there used to be a bar here, and no place to sit in the lobby to have a conversation.
- 3/5
Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel and room are okay but tried.
- 5/5
Comfortable stay. Easy access to subway, right outside hotel.
- 5/5
Staff
- 1/5
Horrible experience, pretty sure the bed had bed bugs. We complained and were given a new room in the middle of the night, which was better, but hotel staff didn’t even bother to help us move our belongings. We had to carry our own luggage one floor up to the new room because out of the two elevators in the hotel, one was not in service. The elevator in service was extremely slow, so we were forced to take the stairs throughout the duration of our stay. I doubt I’ll ever choose to stay in a Hilton again - that’s how bad the experience was. And I’m a rewards member.
- 3/5
Room was clean. Staff was very polite. The wear and tear on the room was noticeable.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 3/5
WHAT BREAKFAST MENU? THE RESTAURANT ATTACHED CHARGED $20 PER ITEM, THE LOX SANDWICH WAS GOOD, BUT THE EGG SANDWICH WASN'T. PLAYED LOUD, LOUSEY INDIAN MUSIC. THE ROOM WAS VERY COLD. THE COFFEE BAR WAS REMOVED BY 9AM? I WONTSTAY AT THAT HOTEL AGAIN. AND ONLY ONE ELEVATOR ALL WEEKEND!
- 4/5
Great location, super hot shower, quite room
- 3/5
Only one working elevator. Restaurant only open for breakfast and didn't open on time. Got lake check out and key stoped working.
- 3/5
No breakfast, restaurant was not operating, and there was a $300 deposit that was not mentioned anywhere. But the rooms were tidy and the staff were nice.
- 5/5
Always a pleasant stay
- 3/5
The staff were lovely and very friendly. The hotel itself was extremely disappointing. There was only 1 elevator in service , an ATM that didn’t even work, no room service and the rooms were not what I would expect from the Hilton brand.
- 5/5
No breakfast but amazong customer service
- 4/5
Nice room.clean.
- 5/5
Nice staff, great room
- 4/5
Restaurant was never open too bad, the room was clean however it would have been better if both elevators were in service
- 5/5
Nice room and the staff are attentive , great area .

Hotel was quiet and in a great shopping area. Public transportation steps away from hotel. Got super lucky with street parking as long as you read the signs. 👍👍👍

I drink one bottle water but was charged with two, I emailed the hotel but no one come back to me.

- 2/5
The hotel was overbooked apparently and, only upon check in, we were informed that the Upper Management had decided to forgo our 2 queen bed room for 2 separate king bed rooms. We were traveling with our 10 year old. These rooms were not adjoining and we were giving no choice in the matter. Our room was books months prior and at no time was I connected regarding this overbooking issue. The booking included the fact that we were traveling with a minor child. This situation was not okay.
- 4/5
The bed smells :(
- 4/5
Clean room, quiet.
- 3/5
Response was rude. No even greeting or smile
- 3/5
Staff fine Coffee in lobby fine We’ve stayed with you three or more times
- 4/5
Wonderful hotel except only elevator worked so it was somewhat inconvenient. Other than we really recommend the hotel!
- 5/5
Clean, cozy room! Loved the ambiance; walls are thin be ware
- 5/5
Very nice hotel in a great location!
- 3/5
Rooms were a bit outdated and damaged but location was great.
- 4/5
We had a great stay at this property. It's a no frills spot that works for a nights sleep and access to lower manhattan sites. We walk a ton, so we had no issue walking up to Times Square (about 45 minutes) if weather was nice.
- 3/5
Bedding linens need to be replaced. They advertise a restaurant and bar which they do not have!!! Very disappointing
- 4/5
Staff was nice

- 4/5
The hotel is in a great location, accessible to the subway. The rooms are okay, however not outstanding. They could be better cleaned, for instance there was a lot of dust behind the nightstands. We were a party of four, yet everyday I had to ask for towels because housekeeping would only leave 2 sets. One of the 2 elevators was not working, and you could tell the hotel was fully booked. Overall, it’s an average experience.
- 4/5
Perfect hotel for a few nights in the city. Front desk was very nice and helpful, we arrived early and our luggage was held in a locked room which I really liked. 9/11 memorial , Wall Street , ferry , Chinatown and little Italy are all 10-15 walking distance and there is a subway entrance/exit right outside the doors super convenient!!! There is also a lovely local dive bar across the street that I highly recommend Nancy Whiskey Pub. We stopped in both nights we stayed and would come back to location again. There is an alley next to the hotel and the trash trucks were outside at 1am and very loud that is my only complaint but a great location otherwise.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Little bit loud. Good location, close to subway, etc. Didn’t have much interaction with staff.
- 5/5
Convenient location
- 3/5
The outlet in the bathroom did not work, the exhaust fan did not keep up with taking a shower and you could not load apps on the TV
- 3/5
Room window had a long and big crack and if i would've done a complete check of tje room they would have charged me foe the broken glass. This is what tje front desk person told me. My advice for anyone staying here is to check your room as soon as you walk in or be prepared to pay for someone else's damage/ hotel staff who cleans the rooms after cleaning them.
- 2/5
Worst experience ever!!! I was placed on the third floor facing York St. I had a 3 night stay but couldn’t sleep due to the sound of traffic. There is only one elevator operating so at times it took forever to get to level 1. A few times I did get frustrated and took the steep stairs. The rooms were cleaned and well stocked. The prices were reasonable. Overall, the hotel is unremarkable but very close to MTA, SoHo, Chinatown, and Little Italy. I got to Times Square, World Trade Center, Pier 61, and Empire State Building in under 10 minutes.
- 5/5
The hotel was in a great location. Close to everything that we wanted to do. We only stayed for one night but would definitely stay again.
- 4/5
Clean rooms
- 3/5
Not at any point were we greeted. When we left I had asked about a taxi and she told me to use the phone. After I did this the couple in the reception went and asked the same question and got a taxi ordered for them. I felt very unwelcome here. The coffee machine was not working either. The best thing about this hotel is the location and the bed.
- 5/5
Excelente servicio, limpieza y tranquilidad
- 5/5
Very nice and accommodating staff. Clean room and overall very solid hotel. Great area too
- 4/5
Everything was great clean comfortable really nice just wished I had known that there is a $300 charge just incase of damages but on Hotels.com that part is not there
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
The room was clean & the location was great (steps to a very convenient subway line), staff was nice and mostly helpful. Two negatives -1 housekeeping forgot to restock towels and coffee, which took awhile to have sent up, 2 check in is 3pm. We made it back to the hotel at 4:30 and they still didn’t have our room ready. If cheapskate corporations don’t have enough employees so customers can check in at 3pm, then they’ve let greed get the better of them! Hire more staff you cheapos!
- 3/5
Also it is difficult to regulate the heat. It’s either too hot or too cold.
- 5/5
The room that was beautiful the staff was amazing
- 3/5
I was very disappointed that the website for the hotel stated that there was a restaurant and bar in the property. The website needs to be updated because the restaurant is closed. I chose this hotel because there was a restaurant listed. That is the reason for the 3 stars for property condition and facilities.
- 5/5
The room was comfortable for two.
- 5/5
Very clean warm and safe
- 4/5
No good view and a pistachio nuts were on the floor.
- 5/5
Nice staff, great beds and sheets.
- 3/5
Staff was great, room needs some refurbishing and could have been cleaner, there was a cockroach in our room that we had to kill, restaurant was only open for breakfast but was supposed to be breakfast lunch dinner. Location was perfect. Subway right outside & walking distance to many bars restaurants.
- 3/5
Close distance but only 1 elevator in function all weekend, check in
- 3/5
One working elevator makes it a pain to get to and from your room. 2nd time I've stayed here with only one elevator. Please fix.
- 3/5
Room was large and clean and the bed was comfortable, but you can easily hear the frequent honking/sirens/yelling on the busy street the hotel is on, even over the very loud AC/heater. Only one elevator was functional and it was very slow, so we mostly took the 5 flights of stairs instead.
- 4/5
Everything was great. Clean, easy check-in, location, quality…only 4 stars because one elevator was broken.
- 5/5
Room was great, service was good, make sure you ask about parking when you check out, they were supposed to give us a stamp to discount the parking and we didnt get one
- 5/5
It was fine
- 2/5
Sadly very poorly maintained hotel - stuffy lobby, lumpy beds, dirty carpet, water stained ceiling
- 3/5
Staff was nice-but the rooms are dated and the A/C unit is horrendous. Needs a revamp.

Pros: room was clean and large, location was near shopping and restaurants in Soho. Cons: received an email that the onsite restaurant Botte had reopened for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but upon arriving learned it was only open for breakfast. Only one of two elevators was working. Overall, a pretty decent hotel.
- 2/5
Loud and only 1 elevator is operational for years. I would never stay there again.
- 5/5
1st up, the location was perfect. Access to shops, the subway, could not fault it. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the seasonal decoration was a great touch. From booking in to checking out all the staff were warm, welcoming and beyond helpful. The room amenities were just what was needed. I recommend staying at this hotel, if I ever get the chance to visit again, I will be staying here 10/10
- 5/5
Great room
- 1/5
The elevator was so slow, the pantry was bare and we were told it would be restocked but it wasn’t, the restaurant was closed, we had to search for a working ice machine, and they only clean every other day. Disappointed to say the least.
- 5/5
Room was spacious compared to most NY flats. Had everything we needed for our stay! Staff was friendly. Very close to soho shopping and food.
- 5/5
Only issue was that only one of the two elevators was running - then the single elevator went out too. We walked down 5 flights with all luggage. Otherwise we would definitely stay here again. Close to all train lines - walked to the Hudson and fantastic bakeries and food. Book confidently.
- 2/5
Come on Hilton lets fix up your properties. And for gods sake doesnt Hilton Honors value their members?
- 5/5
The room was clean, the staff was nice, the A/C worked well. The only problem I had was the room didn’t have black out curtains and my window face the sun rise..
- 3/5
Cons: Stopper in sink broken and service never came to fix when they said they would - Imwe had to run after them to fix it. TV took 3 visits to fix cable reception. Thermostat on wall did not work so you had to fo to actual unit to manipulate it. Came back to room at 4:30 after being out all day and room had not been made up.
- 3/5
Clean room, nice staff. Efficient, no frills hotel.
- 2/5
Very run down, elevator broken and the other so slow it took 10+ mins to come to the 6th floor, no food or beverages stocked in lobby, linens are clean but not comfortable, bathroom and a/c need major updating.
- 5/5
Clean room, helpful friendly staff, metro station just outside the door
- 5/5
Great price
- 3/5
On my last couple of nights, new guests checked in and the entire floor smelled strongly of cigarette smoke — it was clear the guests were actively smoking at the time, and the smell even lingered into my room. I called reception, and thankfully they addressed it quickly. Still, disappointing to come back to that after such a nice two-week stay. Note to future guests: please respect the hotel’s non-smoking policy so everyone can enjoy their stay! Note to future guests: please respect the hotel’s non-smoking policy so everyone can enjoy their stay!

Fully satisfied with this hotel. Room is large by Manhattan standards with two separate beds, plenty of floor space and a full bathroom (full shower tub and sink/counter area). Location is great, the A/C/E subway is literally right outside the front door, and not right in the middle of too much action so it's actually pretty quiet at night. Canal Street is right there for food and amenities anytime. The front desk was helpful and they stowed our bags after we checked out since our flight didn't leave until later.
- 4/5
Beds weren't the greatest. But manageable
- 5/5
Close to the Hudson River Park, tons of fun things to do nearby.
- 5/5
Location is perfect with easy access to all services and shopping.
- 4/5
Nice clean room. Centrally located to the subway. Lots of options for food or shopping. Only downside, only one elevator working.
- 3/5
Our door had a 1” plus gap at the bottom and a partial gap along the bottom of the vertical edge. It closed and locked. Fortunately there wasn’t much traffic in the hallway.
- 5/5
Great location! Felt safe at all times. Walking distance to all Financial district, 9/11 memorial and SoHo, canal street shopping. Subway is located steps from the door WITH an NYPD substation and gets you uptown quick!
- 4/5
Single, slow elevator.
- 4/5
Property was a bit outdated. Elevator was very slow.

- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
One of the elevators was not working so most of the time we had to take the stairs to the 5th floor. Carpet in the room is very old and feels dirty.
- 4/5
Nice property with good sized rooms for New York. It could use some updates, specifically the restrooms in the lobby/restaurant. Close to excellent restaurants. The staff and service were excellent!!
- 4/5
Cleaning staff were great. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.
- 4/5
Dislike: one of two elevators is out of service, ice machine is not operational, loud AC in room, exhaust fan in the bathroom is out of service.
- 1/5
Staff - morning to noonish are the rudest of all . Not a pleasant customer service , seems like this two women working on a Wednesday morning on sept 4, 2025 is just miserable on what they do . Sad coz ive been a hilton member for years and i am always happy on the service but this two are sonetbing else . Flat out rude when u ask them a wuestion dorsnt even look at u in the eye . Just flat out rude !
- 5/5
Everything was great

.
- 3/5
Also lots of street noise from traffic etc. Otherwise it was fine.
- 2/5
There is layers of dust on table and lamp , in spite of letting the front desk know they did nothing . When I first came in and used bathroom it was not flushing . They just didn’t care
- 5/5
My go-to spot when I visit nyc!
- 3/5
The location and property was good. Having only one working elevator which also sometimes got stuck was quite an inconvenience. We had to climb the stairs multiple times during our stay after waiting for more than 5 minutes for the elevator.
- 4/5
Looved my stay, amazing location, great room and friendly staff. Would recommend.
- 4/5
Went for breakfast at Botte, the hotel restaurant, and they were open, but there was no service, no FOH staff, so we left and went to Caffe Bene around the corner. Room cleaning a bit haphazard. Had to request coffee supplies and once we only got decaf.
- 3/5
The choices for the included breakfast was too limited.
- 2/5
Front desk agent at check in (female) was not professional or polite. Only one elevator was working. Restaurant was not open. WiFi was spotty and did not connect well. Housekeeping staff was friendly and rooms were spacious and clean.
- 5/5
This hotel was great, staff is wonderful. Only one working elevator which is the only thing that sucks. Still an amazing hotel would recommend!
- 5/5
Excellent stay. Hotel is conveniently located, metro station up front. Rooms are on the small side but are clean. Hotel has good service. Would recommend it without a doubt.
- 2/5
2 children 2 adults we received 2 wash clothes 2 hand towels and 2 bath towels. Had to ask for more towels. Day 3 housekeeping finally comes at 5pm when kuds were napping and we were getting ready to go out so asked they come back in an hour but they didnt. Told front desk needed fresh towels, out of toilet paper, and needed trash taken out. Asked to please send housekeeping at a reasonable time and they said I would need to remind in morning. The beds were made when came back but sheets not changed and bathroom was barely cleaned, mirror was filthy. Only one elevator worked the entire time there. Staff not friendly at all. I was so very disappointed in Hilton hotel for the first time. Not sure I will stay at another Hilton.
- 5/5
Great neighborhood.
- 5/5
Centrally located
- 4/5
Beds were a little uncomfortable, but did the job. Location was great for food, pizza nearby was the best we had while in the city. Easy to walk to Chinatown and Little Italy. Super close acceas to subways. One elevator was down, which made waiting feel long.
- 3/5
Management is hapless. Before coming I wrote through Expedia where I booked asking for details on parking. No response. After checking in I received a message asking for my feedback. I indicated I wanted to complain. The elevator was out and I wanted to complain among other things. I was told the manager would call me. That never happened. They wrote asking for a phone number so the manager could call. But no call was received. The repairs on the elevator continued for five nights of our stay. By day two there was oil smell coming from the elevator filling the lobby and corridors. All in all, the management is poor.
- 3/5
One elevator was not working, so there was only 1. We needed to wait for easily 5min. sometimes. Staff never say hello or welcome unless you approach them and start. a conversation. In my unit, coffee machine was not usable. Tech person was nice and fixed it. But I expect hotel to make room ready for a guest.
- 5/5
Fabulous location to ACE line, just steps outside the door. Location is perfect if you want to be by SOHO, but not directly in the masses that stay there. Room was comfortable and clean. Only one elevator was working at the time and it seemed like it was due for maintenance pretty soon as well, so hopefully that is resolved soon. Also, the ice machine on our floor was not working which was a bummer, especially during summertime. Overall, I would stay again if the price was right.
- 5/5
Close to everything in Manhattan. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!
- 4/5
The property is a very convenient area to SOHO and also very close to Little Italy!
- 4/5
Great location for walking, dining and access to transportation. Clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
near everything and everyone!!!
- 5/5
Perfect spot
- 5/5
Great property, quiet, and convenient!
- 5/5
Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca was great. Location very walkable to restaurants and shopping and subway. We would stay again.
- 5/5
Great neighborhood. Close to Chinatown.
- 5/5
This place was perfect for our stay over 4th of July weekend. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and cozy.
- 5/5
Great size room and perfect location!
- 5/5
Centrally located to all of our outings and events.
- 4/5
Just remember that 6th Avenue is the same as Avenue of the Americas. This would get confusing if you're a tourist getting out of the subway stations as the location is on a six-street intersection.
- 3/5
Bathroom fan did not work. Advertised bar and room service but resteraunt was closed
- 4/5
Great trip to NYC. Tribeca was a wonderful location close to great shopping and restaurants. Close to subway to explore the rest of Manhattan and Brooklyn.
- 5/5
Excellent customer service, nice hotel, big rooms. A lot of dinning options, close to the subway.
- 3/5
I waited to check in to my room until 11.30pm atlist then they told me the room its taking already the good thing they offered me 2 rooms for the price of the one with 2 beds
- 4/5
Had bigger queues than a ride at an Alton Towers.
- 3/5
The staff is amazing. But the room is a little dated. There are no blackout curtains and there was a billboard shining directly into our room the entire time. The elevator takes forever. If you are not comfortable taking the stairs, you will spend several minutes waiting for the elevator each time. The restaurant is not as advertised either.
- 5/5
Great location-close to SoHo, Tribeca, Chinatown and a short walk to the Village. Super convenient to E train. Lots of restaurants nearby. Friendly staff and very accommodating of requests. I would stay here every time in NYC!
- 5/5
Good value for money, friendly staff
- 5/5
Nice and quiet
- 1/5
Not a good hotel . Very old amenities, not clean . Even the toilet did not work well, the bathroom in general extremely old. Not worth the price
- 1/5
We arrived late in the morning to check in. However the hotel apparently wanted us to call if not checking in during daylight hours and they cancelled our hotel room and gave the room away. We had a lot of difficulty finding a new room over Memorial Day weekend and had to lug our luggage around the city trying to find a place to sleep.
- 3/5
On the plus side, the staff were lovely for the most part, and the room was very comfortable, if not fully clean.
- 3/5
Looks OK at arrival and front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Then the elevator only one working and slow as can be. Check out waiting for it and then is full has no excuse. House keeping staff simply unfriendly. The streets noise of New York is made for New Yorkers. That is no fault of the establishment. Avoid the Avenue fazing rooms if at all possible. Stayed at 5 different hotels during the last 10 days and the only thing I can say that was next to the venue we were attending. Location can make it worth putting up with the rest.
- 5/5
Nice and friendly Hotel. Very convenient location.
- 5/5
Excelent place
- 5/5
This is hands-down, one of the best locations and steps from the Odeon’s most wonderful french fries in the world. The staff is top-notch and it will feel like home even after I don’t your first day.
- 5/5
One couldn’t ask for a better location than this. However, you can tell the tone from the top here is that every guest should feel welcome and special. They do just that here. Every single member of staff is courteous and wants to help and will do anything they can to make your stay better and I stayed here for almost a week after having eye surgery and they could not have been nicer. I probably had the quietest and darkest room in the building, but the staff made everything bright.
- 5/5
Clean, comfy, nice sized room for Manhattan. Use a white noise machine. One of two elevators worked and was slow but stairs were great. Pleasant front desk staff. Close to Holland Tunnel so easy to get in and out of the city. Very close to A/C/E and 1 trains. Though Canal St isn’t my favorite part of Manhattan, this is very close to cute parts of the city like Soho and Tribeca.
- 5/5
Clean rooms would definitely stay again
- 2/5
BED BUGS- ankles, arms, & waistband areas covered with bites upon awakening!!!!
- 5/5
Its great for price and location! Rooms are huge for nyc
- 3/5
The staff was friendly. The property was clean. Bed was comfy. Great central location. The condition of the hotel was less than desirable. Only 1 elevator was functional and it was brutally slow. My room was on the 6th floor and only the ice machine on the 2nd floor was working. The restaurant was not open the entire week of my stay despite it being advertised as open 24/7.
- 1/5
I've experienced better accommodations at LaQuinta.
- 5/5
Great place to sat in NYC
- 4/5
It was fine but dated. The pillows are way too soft and the A/C unit was loud. Not many restaurants within walking distance. Clean but very vanilla room. The restaurant was not good and calling the waitress a server was a stretch.
- 5/5
Didn't like that the service only comes every other day to make beds, bring new towels, etc. There were only 2 towels for 2 of us that we had to use for a 2 day stay. I understand the need to cut back but maybe then start with 4 towels.
- 3/5
It was okay
- 5/5
Catherine and the house keeping manager stepped up and found something I left at the hotel. They went above and beyond my expectations. I appreciate it.
- 5/5
Really nice
- 4/5
Great location, however I've stayed in better quality Hilton Hotels. The rooms were somewhat dated.
- 3/5
Only one elevator was in service fort entire stay making wait times
- 1/5
This property is a scam. They DO NOT offer room service. Elevator was broken. The corridor outside the room someone have thrown up and the smell was horrible. The staff was very rude. They didn’t have milk for the coffee downstairs and the a/c was not working just a windows unit that was very loud. Ice machines were all broken aside from one at a lower level. I’d like my money back!!
- 5/5
Great Staff and Great location!
- 4/5
The hotel is a little outdated but clean - bu the room is large for new york and if you get a room facing away from the street it is nice and quiet!
- 1/5
Then checked in only to discover someone else has been given my room. This was a trio to celebrate my daughter's 10th birthday. We were rain soaked and tired after a 4hr drive and a working a 12hr overnight hospital shift. We were offer 1 drink and one snack and 10 breakfast voucher for a family of 4. We were extremely disappointed for the birthday girl's NEW YORK experience.
- 5/5
We often stay at this hotel because it's easy to get to from Penn Station (Amtrak) and easy to get around. Quiet and clean. One thing we wish they'd work on: at several recent visits, only one elevator was in service.
- 5/5
Great downtown location, quiet at night, clean room.
- 5/5
Excellent service and cleanless
- 4/5
The address confuses Uber drivers and cabs - we had multiple problems.
- 5/5
Stayed a couple times. Great location
- 4/5
Well looked after, staff very friendly and helpful. Building is a little dated and therefore there's a lot of noise bleeding from other rooms.
- 5/5
I like the area.
- 3/5
Older property. Clean. Snack options limited. Not many good food options around.
- 5/5
The bed and pillows were top quality and the room was very clean. The AC unit was slightly noisy and there appeared to be a filter or something broken that some little black pieces flew out of. The elevator was extremely slow and being on the 3rd floor we often took the stairs. The gym was great with Peloton bikes and a nice selection of equipment. The parking garage they validate for was a little bit of a walk, but ended up being cheaper then other garage options. Got to walk by the Ghostbusters headquarters on the way. The hotel is right on the blueline which made it easy to go uptown and back again.
- 4/5
The hotel is nice and clean. Staff is friendly. The metro is extremely close which makes commuting great. The only reason I have a good rating is because parking is sooo far away.
- 5/5
Wonderful time beautiful room and the snacks where an added happy moment of staying in nyc
- 4/5
Cons: We stay in a doble den room and it was too small
- 5/5
It was a great experience
- 2/5
I connected to their standard Wifi, which is slow. I asked the staff member how to switch to their premium wifi, nobody knows how to do it.
- 4/5
Fair place for the price, good location, clean, staff could be more friendly.
- 3/5
The room was nice, comfortable king size bed, and a LOT of electric outlets (a dozen?), although the pillows were disappointing. The toilet flush was insufficient on our final day; glad it happened then or that would have been another thing to fix. The ice machine on our floor and on the next floor down were both running, but not connected to water, so no ice. Internet worked fine. They only clean rooms every other day, so our 3-day stay never got cleaned. The ”free breakfast" was odd. First, almost everything on the alacarte menu is $21 to $23, so why limit us to $20? But it didn't matter; the hostess took our coupon, and gave us a much shorter free menu. Still odd, since these 5 items were also on the alacarte menu and only $2 cheaper. Why not just include everything? Bottom line: a decent hotel at a good price, but way too many little problems
- 5/5
I like the quietness around the area
- 5/5
We always stay here, the staff are professional and friendly
- 2/5
Other than old out of date bu close to surrounding areas I wanted to checkout was easy get to from JFK Airport
