Had a great one week stay! The free breakfast was great and amazing view from the balcony! Short walk to subway station :) Would definitely stay again!

The breakfast had a lot of variety. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Very spacious apartment with a really comfortable bed 10 minutes walk to the train with breakfast provided. Full kitchen with everything you need for a short stay or longer. I asked for a quiet room and was allocated one at the rear of the property which was perfect.

The room was clean, comfortable and well located. The staff was polite and helpful during the stay. I was charged an additional $400 as a deposit and was informed this amount would be refunded after I paid the full stay with another card. However, more than 10 days have passed and the refund has not been processed. This unresolved billing issue is very disappointing.

The hotel is in good shape. It looks new. Lobby is well in shape. Rooms are ok and spacious. I only had a bad experience with the cleanness of the room. I smelled like a bad smell on the pillows and the bed sheet. I even wasn’t comfortable to sleep in the bed. I slept over the bed cover which wasn’t also so clean. For such rate i was waiting for at least a clean room.

The note says that rooms are cleaned every other day during your stay. We only stayed for 2 nights, so didn't get to experience that. The staff is very helpful and kind. Parking on site is $55/night. However, you can park in the garage a block away for only $25-35/night (depending on your vehicle size). The subway is a 4–6 minute walk away, which is very convenient. It is about a 20-minute trip to Times Square and about 40 minutes to Battery Park. The only downside was the daily breakfast buffet. There was not much to choose from, and most of it was carbs and sugary items. I am not really complaining because it was complimentary, but I would have been disappointed if I had had to pay for it.

Great and spacious stay. Room was clean and quiet. Location was great go what we needed. Although the queen sized bed I was informed was a Hilton queen sized bed. I would say it was more like a double, which was only annoying to my husband who is 6'4".

Decent location, close to 2 subway stations.

Location was great one block from the subway. Felt very safe walking the one block as you can see the hotel from the subway station. The 24/7 controlled access doors made it feel very secure. The room was big enough for my husband and I and our 4 adult children and the staff was excellent providing us with all the towels and linens we needed for our bigger family. We would stay there again.

My only mild gripe is that the washer/dryer required me to download a separate app and load money onto it in order to do our laundry. However, the prices were reasonable and it was more of an inconvenience than a deterrent.

The room was great we had 2 queens beds and a sofa bed it had a mini fridge and freezer microwave even a dish washier sink and all . The staff was amazing Enzo and Jeff were so kind and so helpful with directions and the housekeeping lady was very kind she wasn’t rude or annoying . The staff for breakfast was kind and helpful the breakfast was better than I expected . This hotel is near the train and bus which is great to travel around queens or even to head to Manhatten and Brooklyn I will definitely be staying there again

The property was decent for our stay. I brought my family and had 3 kids. The room was clean and the Wifi was fast. Breakfast was just ok for the family. We’ve stayed at a few Home2Suites and the breakfast offerings seemed to be more complete. They stay was good overall.

Stayed for 5 days with 2 friends, everything is good 👍 had no problems with the staff, cleanliness, or provided breakfast. The close location to N, W, E subway was a plus too. This to me was also a safe neighborhood

The worst experience I ever had. No ventilation at all, and the AC is full of mold, which gave me a severe allergy. The staff said they don't have a portable fan, and they lied about letting a technician check because they clearly didn't. The shampoo and body wash are extremely thin and useless. The corridor is as hot as hell, another proof that their ventilation system completely broke down.

Was said we would get a continental breakfast but it was way more than continental. This is a great hotel. It is outstanding in its category. It's not five star - and it doesn't pretend to be. It's affordable, clean, quiet, great transport links, friendly staff, and fantastic beds and showers. The breakfast is nothing special, but it's fine. My husband is gluten free and was worried he might starve but after telling one of the breakfast attendants this, they produced several slices of gf bread within moments! Highly recommend.

The parking mentioned online was misleading as you have to pay $55 a night and surrender your keys. As a 72 inch person, it was very obvious that the advertised queen sized bed was only a full and my girlfriend was elbowed repeatedly because of it. Front desk staff weren’t very helpful.

Front desk was friendly and helpful. We arrived with a lot of luggage about 2.5 hours before check in, and they were kind enough to allow us to check in.

The room was larger than expected, nicely decorated and had all the amenities we wanted. Everything was seriously spotless, no signs of any creepy crawlies, the shower was nice and big, and we couldn’t hear anybody next to us in the other rooms. Front desk staff were quite cheerful and friendly, and the continental breakfast was solid, with great coffee. The whole hotel felt safe, as well as the surrounding neighborhood. We will definitely be staying here again as it’s the best place for the price we’ve stayed in yet.

The room was immaculate and spacious, everything they advertised. The staff were very attentive as well as extremely helpful! I became an honors member on the spot and that came with many perks like someone who I could text for anything I needed or just to check on me during my stay. I would definitely recommend booking with them.

It's a nice property. The rooms and corridors were clean. The only issue was with the in the wall A.C. unit that wouldn't produce heat. After two attempts from the maintenance tech it finally started working. They have to have more scheduled maintenance on those units the coils were dirty. Other than that the stay was ok.

Front desk staff are inconsistent. I requested a housekeeping multiple times throughout the day and confirmed over the phone that the request was fulfilled. But when I returned to the room, nothing was done. They were unapologetic and gave me a hard time to get housekeeping as it’s almost 4 in the afternoon.

The breakfast is a nice plus, although seating was hard to come by during our stay due to the amount of people in the hotel. They have a good amount of options with eggs, waffle makers, cereal, yogurt, etc. We wish there were some more fresh fruit options and they need to change the layout because the drink machine is located in the corner and creates quite the lines in the morning. We were on the 10th floor and had an amazing city view. I definitely recommend the city view from this hotel. Unfortunately, the ice machine did not work on our floor and we didn't bother going to other floors to try others. You do have a full fridge and kitchen though, which would be nice if you want to cook in the kitchen. Additionally, the shower is very spacious and we always had plenty of hot water. All in all, it was a great stay and we would stay there again.

The room is very spacious with two beds, a generous living area, a kitchenette with a dishwasher and a nice large bathroom. There are lots of cabinets and shelves and hooks. The moon was very clean as well as the rest of the property. And the kitchen is fabulous. Only one building away from the m&w lines. A wonderful coffee shop directly across the street.

The hotel always looked clean and had a fresh smell throughout. Our room was large like an apartment, with full size appliances. It felt very “homey”. The staff were very courteous and pleasant. Louisa was particularly very helpful to our family. The hotel is in close proximity to train stations/sub, which we used as our main mode of transportation. We felt safe in the area, and we are considering staying here again when we visit New York.

Time of stay: Oct 26 - Nov 1, 2025. Breakfast is good. Lots of choices, gets you ready for the days activities going around the city. Room is clean and good size. Staffs are friendly & accommodating, let us checked in early since the room is ready & available already. The area, I would say safe located along in a row of hotels & different business and office establishments. Restaurants, there’s some few on walking distances. Subway Dutch Kills station is just a block away that takes you to TS in 12-15 mins. Very convenient… price point vary depending on the season. Autumn to the holidays gets pricier, rest of the year is reasonable compare staying in Manhattan area. I would stay here again getting a chance to visit NYC in the future.

Loved the size of the 1 bedroom hotel room. Unusual for NYC. Great value compared to similar cost rooms at other hotels with much smaller rooms. Subway train was just a block away.

The room was well stocked and surprisingly the pull out queen sofa had a great mattress (which is atypical in a hotel chain) that our adult daughter slept on quite comfortably and never complained!!! Location was a block to the subway that my family used multiple times per day in/out of the city. No concerns with safety in/around the hotel and subway (39th street/Dutch Kills). We made sure to be extremely aware of or surroundings as this is the city and we were in/out out early in the morning and late at night. Did not encounter the first problem and never felt unsafe. The subway to/from the city was quick and easy, never felt like more than a few minutes all over the city. We ended up using the subway/bus ( M60) to get back to LaGuardia, took about 10 mins on the subway to Astoria Blvd and 30 mins on the bus ( makes a handful of stops), just print a transfer ticket from the kiosk outside of Astoria Blvd station - drops off at all domestic terminals. Would definitely stay at this location again, great option for cost savings!

Staff was especially wonderful, namely Donna and Emilie. So great to have a big, clean kitchen. Parking is first-come first-serve so that part was the only snag we had; we had to street park until a spot was available. Other than that, a great stay! Amazing view of NYC from our window.

The room was clean and comfortable. Street parking was okay due the lack of actual residences in the area. Train is a block away for added convenience.

Appreciated easy access to the subway (take the N or W toward uptown Queens). Was convenient to have sufficient breakfast. Staff responded quickly and sufficiently to our needs.

We have returned for a second year and plan to make this our choice for accommodations for our annual trip for the foreseeable future.

Nice and spacious room. Hit shower, room equipped with mini kitchenette. Free breakfast, 2 min walk to train station. Only downside is the air conditioner was making strange noises, but not bothersome. It's hard to find a great hotel with a big room and get value for money.

Parking expensive and not very good. Not very good facilities compared to other Home2 I have been to. Bed for queen size is more like a full size. Not worth the cost I paid

Nice, clean and comfortable

I’m not sure why this hotel has such good reviews. The main area was decent and check in and check out was easy. However, the room I was given smelled like wet dog and the bed in the room sunk in when I tried to sit on it. I don’t think that’s ever happened to me at any hotel. Also the A/C didn’t seem to be working and the bed sheets and comforter were flimsy. I did manage to change rooms but the bed was still not what I would consider appropriate. Definitely not worth the stay especially for the $400 a night that I paid.

We enjoyed our stay very much. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Home 2 Suites. We did not eat breakfast as we met family early. Staff very friendly and personable. Room size great! Bed not quite as comfortable, however, we were in a queen vs king, room clean, bright and quiet. We also had partial city view which was a sweet surprise!

Located in a quiet area, 3-min walk to a subway station, the spacious room was housekeep daily. App-operated washer/dryer available for self laundry. Free breakfast serves the same food daily.

I enjoyed my three-day, two-night stay.

Food options are a bit limited, however access to the metro is just a few steps away for access to other food options. Bed comfort was OK, no complains.

Main concern was around the area around the property and the cleanliness which is why I had to shift the hotel mid way. Definitely not a family place.

A great location! The room was clean and the staff was nice. The only issue was minor, my AC struggled to keep up with the heat wave. However, my room is still comfortable.

The only negative thing was luggage storage was $10 a piece and as we had 7 pieces it was prohibitive. Wish that had been stated on booking as it may have swayed our decision. Oh and the Wifi was choppy at times

Nice hotel with many amenities, is very safe and clean. Easy access to transportation.

The rooms were clean frequently but you have to ask for everything you need to be replenished - toilet paper, shampoo, coffee, etc, they won’t do it themselves. Breakfast is nice to have, but gets very busy especially towards the end, right before 9. The staff and the guests all shove each other trying to get to the food. Location is really nice, a 4 minute walk to the subway, a few delis and restaurants around as well, though nothing spectacular. There is a cute terrace on the 7th floor with a nice view. Overall we liked the hotel and the value.

The stay was incredible. Beautiful hotel and hotel room. The breakfast was amazing so many options for everyone. The staff was absolutely phenomenal, between Omar, Emily and Jessica, to name a few , the staff were so kind and welcoming and so helpful ! Super close to the train station. No real downsides to mention but maybe an ice machine on the 8th floor that was down but we just hopped the next floor to get some. A wonderful stay, thank you to everyone here at Homes2Suites. Would 1,000% recommend.

Clean, comfortable room and the breakfast area is cosy and spacious. Breakfast variety is limited and food is cold. Hotel is near to a subway station which makes travelling convenient but there's limited dining and shopping nearby.

The hotel is in a safe residential neighborhood, pretty quiet, plenty of people walking around. There are several little stores for food and beverages within a block or two also several restaurants/bars nearby. The staff was very friendly and polite. The included breakfast was good (waffle machines, pre-made egg paties, hard boiled eggs, bacon, English muffins, bagels, vanilla yogurt, granola, berries, trail mix, oatmeal, cheerios, raisin bran, fruit loops, juices, coffee & tea). The only negative things were that the weekday breakfast hours (6AM - 9AM) really should go an extra hour til 10AM. It was super crowded from 8AM to 9AM which is when most people would go. It was hard to get what you wanted. On the weekends it stays open until 10AM but really, the entire crowd problem (which seems to be the main thing that causes any negative reviews about this hotel) could be easily solved by just staying open until 10AM. The room itself was very spacious by NYC standards. It was also super quiet, which is very important to us. We never heard a peep from any of the other rooms or from the hallway even though the hotel was filled to capacity. If you're looking for a clean, safe, quiet hotel that's close to Manhattan without the Manhattan price tag, this could be your perfect spot. Also, they do not charge that obnoxious "resort fee" that Manhattan hotels tack on.

Great location for Govball and right near the subway!

This hotel was amazing and met my family’s needs. The room was very large and we even had room for a blow up mattress! We had the two beds plus the pull out sofa bed. The parking was easy and convenient. The breakfast was amazing! They offered more than other hotels we have stayed at. The subway was close and easy to get to. Everyone was so kind, polite and very friendly. The area around the hotel was safe and clean, even coming back from the subway at midnight we felt safe. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for families!

It was great because of the staff!! Very welcoming and helpful. One thing I have noticed on my last couple of visits is there is some wear and tear on the cupboards, bathroom, drawers. The table lamp was missing. They brought a floor lamp immediately when I asked. But did not fit. When you are staying for several nights, kind of a home away from home, you expect that you will have light to work with. I do always chose to stay at home 2 suites when in Long Island city. Hopefully there won’t be anymore changes.

The room itself had everything I needed. Decent size with kingsize bed, a little kitchenette and the bathroom was cleaned almost everyday during my stay. I appreciate that the staff when cleaning my room nicely left my stuff to the side. Front desk was very helpful and friendly.

Really nice property. We’ve stayed here several times. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good central LIC location. Close to two subway stations. Unfortunately, breakfast is over at 10 am, even on the weekends. I wish they would extend it to at least 11am.

Near a subway line. Immediate area outside hotel felt safe. Further away, near the F line felt less safe, we avoided that area.
