The room was clean. The hotel was beautiful. It was welcoming the iron we had to get replaced because it was dripping. The pillows was very soft and small. But overall, it was a nice, a little too expensive for 2 days. But nice. The atmosphere right was nice. It was nice to walk around to lots of places to eat and shop. just chilling in the area was safe (police department very near).

Great location
- 5/5
Our stay at the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge was very good despite having to shorten our trip due to a family emergency back home. Extremely helpful staff. Hotel appeared well maintained and clean. Quiet hallways and good location for nearby restaurants. Comfortable bed and spacious enough for three adults. Typical amenities of coffee maker and mini fridge in the room. The room did not have a microwave but we were able to request one from the front desk. Surrounding area was nice.

Our room was furnished with one 20 long leather couch. Har and uncomfortable but no where else to sit. Exposed wire running down the wall. Surprise $30 addon fee upon checkin

Nice room. Staff was great. Helpful. Only issue was couldn’t get maid service .

Very unclear on the details about the daily food and drink credit

Loved the location, the hotel, and staff. The "packaged" breakfast was even good considering it was pre-prepared and sitting on a shelf. The discomfort was with the hotels Business Model. The think what caught me off guard as the $30/day "Destination Charge" which I did not recall at time of booking but noted afterwards on the receipt from Hotels.com. The hotel provided a drink/meals credit of $30/day to offset this, but this required us to eat at the hotel to use of the credit. However, it was tough for 2 to eat less or equal to the $30/day amount; of course we went over. It's just very frustrating to be nickeled and dimed like this.

Excellent location, very friendly & helpful staff. I was traveling alone & felt very safe. Need better lighting in bathrooms…too dim for putting on makeup.

Great stay
- 3/5
The beds were small. When asked to be moved to a different room, they were sold out until the last day of our stay. Gave us a room with a pullout sofa bed that was not very comfortable.
- 5/5
Great hotel for solo traveling
- 3/5
My experience was okay. I've stayed at the hotel before, and I think it'll be my last time.

Only complaint is that the room needed a update or a refresher
- 5/5
Excellent stay & next home in New York this is where I’ll stay…
- 5/5
The room was very clean the staff was very nice
- 4/5
I thought since it was a Marriott it was a safe choice for a business trip but I was pretty surprised that it was looking dumpy. However the staff were very accommodating and nice.
- 4/5
Location wise pretty convenient, room size good, we stayed at higher lfloor facing Main Street and views are good AC not working. Even we called maintenance and they tried to fix few times but still not running well. hotel did offer to switch room for us. But we don’t want repack and stuff so

Perfect and peaceful
- 5/5
Two close accessible subways. Multiple walkable eating spots, can walk to Brooklyn Bridge, Transit museum, piers, and more. The location is pretty fantastic and the hotel is accessible. They will hold luggage before check in and after check out if necessary. I do wish their market was open 24 hours for drinks, coffee, and snacks. They close at 4:30 and that’s my only complaint because I’m disabled and their vending machine options aren’t great imo. I’m often too tired to walk to a local deli or fast food place.
- 5/5
Great location and very friendly and helpful doormen giving directions and recommendations Didn’t like that you had to join club to lget free wifi. Room was clean but could have been vacuumed better.
- 5/5
I would have to let them know about my room credit each time it wasn't automatically applied
- 5/5
The staff was professional and respectful accommodating every request and answering all my questions. I would have to let them know about my room credit each time it wasn't automatically applied

Very good
- 2/5
This happened the last time we stayed here in January. Cleaning staff never cleaned our room despite my stopping by one of the staff on my way our for the day and letting them know I would be out of the room for about 5 hours.
- 5/5
Breakfast is great and fast, nothing fancy but they have everything it’s needed
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful and very accommodating.
- 4/5
Breakfast was grab and go of mediocre quality. Otherwise the hotel was fine and we will probably stay again.
- 5/5
Weird view of the roof but the room was amazing
- 3/5
This is a great hotel for downtown Brooklyn if you can get it for a good deal. Try to stay in the south tower as the rooms are much more modern. The one thing I’m really bummed is that they got rid of the swimming pool and just have the gym now.
- 5/5
Nice dinner and breakfast selections. Very responsive staff and great location
- 5/5
Amazing view
- 5/5
Excellent
- 4/5
as always, Marriott showers smell like mildew. I have to say the staff at this property went above and beyond with any question, request or attitude. It was really amazing to see such great customer service within New York City. Please extend my thank you to everyone who covered the front desk, concierge, security, and the conference that was going on. If we can just get rid of the smell in the bath tubs or shower curtains, which I have come accustomed to at Marriott’s, my review would be so much better.
- 5/5
The breakfast choices to purchase was very limited
- 2/5
Every night staff would be vacuuming after 10pm in the evening. The food and wine selections were pretty bad as well.
- 4/5
The bedroom curtains would not close fully, but that wasn’t a big proble.
- 4/5
Coffemaker in room was not functional.
- 5/5
The hotel was centrally located with everything right outside. Food, coffee shops and shopping was right outside or within walking distance. There were also buses and trains close by. The staff were amazing. From the time I checked in at the front desk they were very warm and accommodating.
- 5/5
Good enjoyable room
- 5/5
Enjoyed the staff rooms are spacious
- 5/5
The only thing I didn’t like was the mandatory resort fee plus! - disguised as a $30 credit to purchase breakfast or lunch from the 2nd floor cafe.
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet with a great view.
- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
Thank you!
- 5/5
Perfect location downtown Brooklyn really nice rooms bed etc good food
- 4/5
Room was wonderful, but they could have a sofa in the room or comfortable chair that’s the only thing sit on the bed I enjoy my view The drinks wasn’t too strong. I had a Long Island iced tea.wasn’t strong very expensive. The breakfast is OK I would’ve been a little more healthy little selections. I will come back again.
- 3/5
There was no restaurant. Just prepackaged food and coffee. More like a bar menu and food was not good. Exorbitant fees of $30/day whether you used their "restaurant" or not. Staff was nice and attentive but food not worth it at all much less $30/day
- 5/5
I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS EVERYTHING WAS ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING
- 5/5
The hotel and staff were great. The bathroom was a bit dated and needed a good deep clean.
- 5/5
Clean well kept room, staff was amazing and polite, gym was fantastic and clean.
- 5/5
My only complaint: I was charged $29 for a Long Island Iced Tea. The bartender added his gratuity without asking or letting me know that he was authorized by Marriott to do that. That is very RUDE and unprofessional.
- 5/5
This Marriott Hotel is beautiful, well placed for easy access to Manhattan and Brooklyn. Everyone was very professional and helpful. I will be back to enjoy it again.
- 5/5
From the moment I walked in, it was amazing!! The director Scott I believe was amazing and helpful. All the staff definitely served with bright smiles. This is my go to hotel when visiting Brooklyn NY.
- 5/5
Great staff, especially the bellman. Very helpful and informative.
- 5/5
Seen a Rat in the parking Garage
- 5/5
Yes, many shops downtown a gym a pool amazing
- 5/5
This location was so perfect. The area was nice, quiet, the perfect views. The subway was just a short walk.
- 2/5
the staff was very rude, and not helpful at all, simply couldnt be bothered. had a small issue the staff made it worse by being rude and condescending, promised to make it right and made it worse...
- 5/5
Great room, great staff
- 5/5
Phenomenal customer service and convenient location.
- 5/5
Front Desk staff were extremely friendly and courteous. Answered all questions with a smile. Will be back!
- 3/5
This time right from questions over the phone a week before check-in, to actual check-in, we were treated like a nuisance getting “sighed” at with any question or comment, and replies given with a clearly annoyed tone while rushing us off with nobody waiting and not taking any longer than a normal check-in, and trying to be pleasant. We’re not sure what happened this visit, but we will be re-evaluating what kind of experience and guest support we want to spent our money on.
- 5/5
Excellent staff, they were all super friendly and very helpful. But The veiws of the city were the best part, absolutely incredible! Every thing was also very clean and the bed was like sleeping on a giant cloud. We wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed more of the services they provided.
- 4/5
We liked how the maids came each day with clean towels.
- 5/5
This hotel is closed to subway and provide $30 breakfast for each room. Lots of restaurants nearby. Cozy and clean for Chirstmas trip.
- 4/5
House keeping was great
- 3/5
The room and carpet smelled extra musty. Smell traveled with us on clothes, etc. The room needs updating.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Great location close to two subway stations. Walkable neighborhood, safe and lots of restaurant options. Hotel room was huge! Very quiet and comfortable. It was strange but the light in the bathroom was very dim- hard to see. Staff was nice, especially in coffee shop and bar. Would stay there again!
- 5/5
Everything was perfect. Thank you.
- 3/5
Check in staff was amazing! I did not get her name. Rest of the stay was okay. Rooms are a little out dated. Top comforter had a stain on it but we didn’t use it. Hotel restaurant staff could be a little more attentive.
- 5/5
Great room, comfortable bed and professional staff.
- 3/5
Room could of been cleaner sheets had stains and the vents where extremely dirty left at 8 am didn't even wait for check out
- 5/5
They didn’t have complimentary breakfast. But the staff at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again
- 5/5
The lady at the front desk was courteous and welcoming at check in
- 5/5
Menu was fresh, room was clean. Business friendly was not applicable to me as there not a business trip
- 5/5
A little pricey though
- 5/5
Very comfortable hotel stay! Friendly staff. Hidden gem is the coffee lounge. Armando runs the operation and he is the Greatest.

The staff room and service plus amazing location. Loved it.
- 5/5
The staff.
- 5/5
Bartenders were great!
- 5/5
Great bed, room, spacious, shower w really good water pressure, food tasty. More expensive than other hotels but worth it. Literally had to leave a Hilton property hotel bc the mattress was so awful. Lesson learned (costly bc Hilton would not partially reimburse me a penny) but I’ll never make that mistake again. Marriott all the way!
- 5/5
Did try breakfast
- 4/5

- 3/5
Room was outdated, bad view, small window so not enough light, bed was ok but not really comfortable.
- 4/5
Room was spotless and staff
- 5/5
Room was spacious and clean. Staff were veru friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Clean and spacious but quite noisy. You can clearly hear people talking in the hallways from inside the room. Great location. Easy to take subway into Manhattan.
- 2/5
No housekeeping
- 5/5
We were very impressed by stay at the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge. Staff were exceptionally helpful upon checking in and we were able to get in our room four hours early, which was unexpected and appreciated after a morning of traveling. The hotel stay charges a resort fee, which is about $30 a day per room you receive that credit back in terms of using it at the bar or the breakfast place. We were able to get breakfast for a family of six using our two room vouchers. Rooms were very large by NYC standards and elevators were so quick. Conveniently located near numerous subway lines we were able to be in and out of Manhattan without much stress. Would highly recommend.
- 5/5
Great service
- 5/5
All staff were very helpful and kind!
- 3/5
Staff was attentive and helpful. Room was spacious and clean but it felt like there was a renovation that was not complete. The bathroom lighting is terrible. The bathroom door is beat up and needs to be painted. Bedside tables seem to be missing!
- 5/5
All of the above
- 5/5
Location Excellent
- 5/5
Loved it, will book again!

If you’re minority don’t recommend…Rude staff. there’s a man called Vincent, he claimed to work in the bar area. I was resting waiting to the restaurant he knock the sofa where I was sitting yelling at me saying that I can be there sleeping ( I was not) and demanding that I have to move from the sofa because he needs to clean. He immediately called security. I sat in front of my husband, the security guy asked if there’s any situation which my husband trying to explain. The bar guy ( Vincent) approached with a broom swiping and ask my husband if he can clean, husband rises his legs and he clean (Vincent). When Vincent approaches to me I rise my legs so he can clean, well this guy demands me to move to the first place that I was sitting because he needs to move the chair. The security guy told us that we need to follow the rules. What rules? We ended leaving for not aggravated the situation. And second we woke up two days in a row with with a strong smell of cigarettes coming from the next room. I reported both situations but I it was handled poorly.

- 5/5
Great location in Brooklyn
- 4/5
The room was great. Nice and spacious.
- 4/5
Clean room ,friendly.
- 5/5
great location, near two train stops, the water, very walkable and central.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing and so accommodating when I locked myself out of my room in the middle of the night!
- 5/5
Location is great and staff were unbelievably welcoming, kind and helpful!
- 5/5
Nice room and desk staff
- 3/5
Very disappointed. Earlier visit about 10 years ago was excellent. Facilities have gone downhill, especially the rooms. Restaurant is early years was good, but dinner on Saturday night was mediocre. Not worth the exorbitant cost of the room, although location is convenient. Valet staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. But will not stay here again.
- 5/5
Great hotel. Classy
- 4/5
Nice rooms but very expensive.
- 4/5
This is a modern, updated Marriott. The location is within walking distance to restaurants, public transport and the famous Brooklyn Bridge. Check-in staff were friendly and efficient. We wish the hotel had a proper restaurant vs bar / eating area, and the upholstery needs a cleaning from food stains. Breakfast consists of only pre-packed foods, pasties, etc. The room was clean and serviced well. We liked to see the tub/shower vs shower only. On the other hand, there are no drawers to store clothes for those who like to unpack. Our room had a lot of HVAC mechanical noise (sounded like dampers banging open and closed). The bell stand service was unreliable. No time for us to check out the fitness facilities.
- 2/5
This property was in a great location but some of the staff were rude.
- 5/5
Very good
- 4/5
Excellent location. Convenient to everything.
- 4/5
Room and hotel was clean. I find it odd that for the price that you pay, there is no pantry available after hours where hotels much less costly has this available 24/7.
- 4/5
Great location to catch subway, walkable to Brooklyn bridge. There’s many places to eat and shop in the area. The hotel is clean however it is showing its age.
- 5/5
The staff was fantastic and the hotel room was perfect and very comfortable
- 4/5
Great location near a lot of restaurant and close to the subway
- 2/5
Front desk person condescending
- 5/5
Room was awesome!! Big & spacious. Great staff & lots to do around the hotel:)
- 5/5
Close to metro
- 2/5
The staff and employees were all kind and considerate. The rooms need a little more love and upgrade for the amount I was charged. The hotel smelled like weed in hallways and elevators. It was awful for someone that has upper respiratory issues. I won’t be staying here again.
- 4/5
The rooms were nice and clean, staff was pleasant. I would definitely stay again. Close to Barclay's Center and NYC Transit .
- 5/5
Wonderful experience. Great amenities and service.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing!! The hotel is in a great location, there is a lot to do around the hotel area. Parking is expensive that’s the only downfall. For 9 nights I had to pay just under $600 usd just on parking. The rooms are nice, amenities were all good and the hotel is a busy hotel with people checking in all hours of the night. Very comfortable with a lot of nearby shopping.
- 1/5
Dirty room
- 5/5
Convenient for me
- 4/5
The room was spacious with great views of the City. The shower & two sinks were perfect for our party of 3. The bed was comfortable, but the sleeper sofa was outdated. We didn't pull out the sofa as there weren't any bed linens for it.
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my stay
- 4/5
On the positive side, the breakfast options were good, and the staff were generally very friendly. I would especially like to thank Rosemary, the housekeeping staff, for her attentiveness and care. The location is excellent—many restaurants nearby and very central. Transportation is also very convenient, with a metro station and bus stops just about a one-minute walk away.
- 3/5
The hotel is quite roomy for a New York City hotel. When we checked in the WiFi didn’t work in our room. They moved us to another room but the reception/internet service was still poor. Other than that, it was a good stay and in an area that is accessible to restaurants and some shopping.
- 3/5
Hotel is tired and needs to be renovated. Some of the loo y lounge furniture very dirty. Rooms ok. On the plus side the staff
- 4/5
The cleanliness of the facility and the courtesy of the bellmen.
- 5/5
Welcoming. Clean. Modern. Easy.
- 5/5
Comfortable, safe and friendly hotel with lots of things like good, drink, exercise room and pool that made my stay FABULOUS!
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
The location is perfect! East to get around and go in and out the city.
- 5/5
What made the biggest impression was the courtesy and friendliness of the staff, from the Front Desk to the cleaning staff to the guys at BRC, everyone was pleasant and seemed to be enjoying their work. Housekeeping and facilities (bad refrigerator) requests were addressed very quickly.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Great hotel. Super quick and easy check in
- 5/5
It was amazing from Check-in to Check-out. They greeted us when we pulled up to hotel. They grabbed our bags. They offered us complimentary water and Ice cream . They gave us a room upgrade. When we made requests, we were immediately accommodated. Upon departure they said "We hope you enjoyed your stay".
- 3/5
The property is tired and needs renovations. The room was in need of upgrades. Amenities were limitled. One bar of soap for the entire room that included two lavatory areas and a tub shower. . The concierge breakfast was not good at all. Definitely not up to Marriott standards. I would not stay there again unless they implement improvements. .
- 5/5

- 5/5
Love the location, The staff members were very friendly.

the hotel is lovely. the room was huge especially considering usually hotel rooms in nyc are tiny. we had a lovely time and slept really great. everyone was very nice. smooth check in and out process.
- 5/5
Nice decor nice for parties
- 5/5
Spacious room, clean bathroom, helpful staff. Location is very convenient.
- 5/5
The Bad: Trash cans had no bags in them the first night which is no big deal. I would do it again and recommend to other people.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and very accommodating
- 5/5
Excellent staff, great service and a wonderful room.
- 5/5
Was a great experience.
- 5/5
Great hotel. Great location.
- 3/5
Very dated- even with remodel. Beds were small- and remodel was not great $600 a night for step back to the 1970,s. Service at bar was poor- front desk and doorman were good.
- 5/5
Loved
- 3/5
It was fine but the cat that you added on the parking price and the internet was charge on top of a pricey night...

This is a great property for the conference. It has easy access to the meeting rooms and is surrounded by many restaurants and shops, all within walking distance. I would return to this property.
- 2/5
Only good thing about this hotel is the location but it is absolutely not worth the money. Our pillows had blood stains on them!!! It took 6 hours one time to get fresh towels and also nobody cleaned our room when we were gone all day. Not worth your money.

Staff was kind and helpful
- 4/5

- 3/5
.
- 4/5
Room a little smaller than expected. 2 double beds for 4 people is fine and appropriate - but sometimes nice to have an armchair available.
- 3/5
When I checked in, I was told that Marriott adds a destination fee to the daily room charge. This came as a surprise to me. Big name hotels should be upfront about such imposts at the time of booking.
- 5/5
We had two rooms and they were clean and next to each other. The morning cafe was efficient, clean, and delicious. Every teammate (from the front door to hotel rooms) at the hotel was pleasant, helpful, and made our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel for visiting both Brooklyn and Manhattan. We had events planned in FiDi and Williamsburg and could easily travel over the bridge for all events. Best Weekend.
- 5/5
The friendliness and helpfulness ofv the staff was wonderful!
- 5/5
Efficient staff and close to JFK
- 2/5
Still trying to wrap my head around a $30 a day destination fee to travel to New York City, I’ve never experienced that in my entire life for traveling and I’ve been to a lot of places. Also, once I was closing out, I was having no trouble reading the receipt and one of the gentleman that was checking me out was absolutely no help. He was irritated that I was asking he was verysarcastic about his remarks and I did not appreciate it after paying $750 for two nights total, and then getting there and having to pay another $81.90 no I was not happy.
- 4/5
Staff were courteous and helpful. I would stay here again.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay. The location was great and it was easy to get everywhere we needed to go. Great food in easy walking distance. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
The concierge reps were great with directionss and greeting guests. In the morning, we went to the restaurant to use the voucher. One of the workers (manager?) was rude. People were lining up and didn't notice the sign. The staff person was like read the sign and follow the arrows in a daah tone. Overall the food was fine and everyone behind the counter were professional, kind, and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. The hotel location was great and valet parking easy.
- 5/5
nice hotel in a very convenient location
- 4/5
It would have been more worth it if there was an actual breakfast buffet
- 5/5
It was very comfortable
- 5/5
I was New York for a concert but for only a short time at the hotel it was a great experience and atmosphere. The checking in and out for quick and nice the room itself was amazing and it had the best view
- 3/5
Noisy, needs a refresh.
- 5/5
Checkin was fast and easy. I like that there were 3 food options in the hotel. There were near by take out options available. The room was spacious with a nice city view.
- 5/5
It was convenient
- 5/5
Very friendly staff and great location
- 5/5
Location, bar and staff. Very clean, larger rooms
- 5/5
Enjoyed NY…
- 3/5
Dated,room temperature won’t go up to 71F
- 4/5
Room was very spacious.
- 5/5
Unfortunately, due to traffic, we arrived later than expected, and had tickets for a show. I was annoyed with myself because of this. Samatha, at the desk, saw my frustration and saud she’d make this the easiest check-in ever. And she did! She even arranged for a taxi to be waiting as soon as we were dressed and rest to go. Samantha was amazing. Thankyl you so much.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 4/5
great experience!
- 5/5
Clean comfortable rooms. Friendly staff
- 5/5
This is a great hotel, the staff is super nice, the room big and the cafe at the lobby has a great kitchen. At walking distance from Dumbo, subway station, restaurants and many shops. Definitely my family and me are coming back very soon.
- 4/5
Visited NYC for Christmas. The Marriott at Brooklyn Bridge was a good place to stay. Just across the bridge from all the sites and shopping in manhattan. Clean hotel with nice staff. Not many restaurant options in walking distance.

Mostly good. Instead of a daily $30 credit at the Marriott food place I would rather have $30 off the daily room rate and I can go out to one of a number of nearby places to get food, coffee. Or i could chose to pay the somewhat high hotel food price

Good overall. The only issue is the cafe dining is awful because it has a 45 min line each day. I don’t understand why they don’t give numbers for people getting coffee and let people who just want food and drinks check out quickly. Poor management.

The room was fantastic, very comfy beds, very spacious, super clean, great bathroom and shower. The breakfast food is delicious. The only bad thing is they charge a daily $30 fee for food and beverages (that can only be used until noon) even if you don’t use it.

It was a very very nice hotel, staff was awesome. Whem ever I had a question or needed something I was always greated with a smile. Check in was easy. Even though I arrived two hrs early, the bell hop took out bags so we can wait and walk aroind the city. We only had to wait an hour for room. The only issue that I wasn't fond off was the long line for the panrty "breakfast line". I understand it was a busy time of the year, and that is was a major hoilday week. But I waited sometimes over 30mins just to get to the food, and another 20 just to be cashed out at the coffee "bistro stand". One morning we didnt get breakfast becuase the food ran out, or the kitchen was having a hard time to keep up with the influx of people waiting. That would be my only issue, but it was a busy week for Brooklyn and NYC anyways. Overall, i will definitely be staying at the Marriott by Brooklyn bridge again. The best part was it was a 15min walk to the bridge and another 30min walk to get to NYC. Again I was very pleased with our experience! Happy New Year 2025!

The staff was remarkably helpful. The lack of a restaurant where a good breakfast could obtained or a salad, etc was wholly disappointing and unacceptable.

The water pressure and cleanliness was great and the staff were very nice. The food was also great. Next time I’ll ask for a higher floor away for all the noise.

My family enjoyed a 2 night’s stay at this hotel. Clean space and service was great. Joseph at the front desk especially was kind and friendly. We loved the location- close to 2 subway stations, lots of restaurants and shopping.
