Reviews
The hotel has a great location and clean rooms, but there are issues with hot water and noise. The staff is generally friendly and accommodating, but some guests have had negative experiences with unprofessional behavior and poor customer service.

- Noise from outside and neighboring rooms

Room was good. Check-in 3:00 pm is 3:pm took extra money for charges and taxes and deposit fee that was not mentioned while booking. Small breakfast area was a joke. From opening time to only bagel option. Need improvement in all respect.

No Keurigs despite coffee cups and coffee provided No towels No AC in two of the rooms even when one was switched no AC No hot water in shower Shower not working in 2 of the rooms And the disaster no mattress on sofabed just iron!!! Horrible

My AC didn’t work the entire time. Asked them twice to fix or switch rooms, but nothing came of it. Could be a cool place and in great location, but no AC made my stay fairly miserable.
- 4/5
We had 3 registered guests in our room, and the staff NEVER got the towel count correct. I had to call the front desk 3 times to get enough towels. There was no cup for the bathroom, the room was dark, loud street noise to the point we had a hard time sleeping, no microwave and the coffee tray was not refilled 2 days in a row. Also, the Bistro ran out of food twice while we were staying there.

The staff was friendly

This is a nice building in a nice location. Unfortunately it is not well-run. Our room wasn’t ready until well after the check-in time. None of the rooms had bar soap because they ran out (and seemingly lacked any urgency to get more). The gym had not been stocked with wipes and machines were often loose.
- 1/5
No working AC in our room the whole first day/night we were there. Left our reservation early because this was not fixed and we were unable to get a new room.

I like how convenient the location is and the staff was nice. I didn’t like that my room didn’t have a working AC unit, (90 degrees in nyc) housekeeping offered me 2 tabletop portable fans and the room had 1 towel/washcloth. For the price tag attached to that hotel, especially for on the weekend they should do better!!!
- 2.5/5
There was much to like but halfhearted cleaning and horrible smell of weed inescapable at times even in my room in made it unlikely I would book again. Unfortunate because it’s a good value and location. Pleasant enough staff Cleaning not thorough but it was the smell of weed which was at times inescapable

When I got to the property they told me that I didnt have a room. They over booked and sent me to the Hilton Downtown Brooklyn. I was very disappointed because the hotel was closer to where my daughter was to take her photos for prom.

Location! Front desk staff!
- 3/5
The hotel has such potential but the care of the property left me disappointed. I booked the room for two people, however they only provided towels for one person. Each day I had to ask the housekeeper for a second set of towels. I was required to pay a $35 daily usage fee to cover wifi and a pastry and coffee each morning from the cafe. However you were only allowed one pastry and one coffee despite the fact there were two people in the room. It was very awkward and felt "cheap". The entry light to the room was burnt out and I had to request it to be replaced. The most concerning was the fact the deadbolt to the room was broken. The staff said it would be fixed the day I reported it, however it remained non-functioning for my entire stay. The location was great and the building itself nice, but the management needs to step up to provide a better and safer experience for their guests.

It was ok but I expected more for the price.

Some of the staff members are not helpful and often quite rude. It was not nice to deal with.

Great spot, stay here whenever I’m in the area. Very convenient location.

Other than that the room was fine and very low priced for NYC.

Stayed at this hotel four times. Convenient location for visiting family in Brooklyn. Route into Manhattan is almost straight making trips easier than other places in the boroughs. We’ve stayed here four times. Outside noise level can be intrusive for rooms at the front. Staff this time around seemed indifferent.

Lobby looked ok, until you walked into the filthiest elevator! Property was not ready even at 4.30pm! Check in as at 3pm!!! Staff didn’t have a clue, young girls who didn’t seem to bothered , and were very unprofessional.

Not enough towels, shower set up was odd, half a door resulted in water all over the bathroom floor. Had to fight with the Kuerig coffee machine to get it to work. I tripped on the carpet at the front door, no one even looked up from the reception desk to see if I needed assistance. Good location, tho.
- 2/5
The kitchen closed early, bar wasn't stocked, and the cafe opened between one hour and one and a half hours after it was advertised to open online and in the hotel.
- 1/5
I did not end up staying there. I booked a Luxury King, and was given a dingy, dirty standard room. When I showed them my reservation, they said that what they showed in their system was different. The staff person was rude and unhelpful. I called Expedia and they kindly moved me to another hotel entirely (EVEN -- much cleaner and professional). 5 days later, I noticed that The Tillary had charged me for the cancelled stay. I am in the process of trying to get them to refund me. The place was dank, dirty, dusty, and run down, and clearly, fraudulent.
- 5/5
Fully meets expectations.
- 2/5
Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Room wasn’t cleaned daily. Had to call for clean towels.
- 1/5
I arrive at the hotel at MIDNIGHT after traveling all day, and they tell me they gave my room away anyway. Their explanation? “It’s first come, first serve.” HOW does that even make sense when I already PAID for the room in advance and notified you multiple times that I was arriving late?! Then it gets worse. When I asked for a refund for the first night, they told me my delayed flight was “my fault” and refused to refund me. Absolutely unbelievable customer service. On top of that: Dirty rooms Only 1 elevator working Terrible customer service from start to finish
- 4/5
Could have been cleaner. One elevator was out of service. Staff was nice. Location is good, not great. Shower was odd - by design there is no door so it is partially exposed. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet.
- 3/5
TV in the room was inoperable
- 2/5
Do not stay at this hotel. The air conditioner did not work the whole time we were there and they only offered us two small fans. It was much too loud outside for us to open the window, so the room was hot. Also the room was not in great shape. The coffee table was broken, the entry light did not work and the shower head also did not work. For the price we paid the room did not cut it.
- 2/5
Just cold feeling.. no access to room service or having uber delivered to your room. Tough gig. Staff weren’t offering up assistance, either.
- 3/5
Overall not a great experience. Every morning of my stay I smelled a strong cigarette smoke odor coming from the restroom. I had to keep the door closed so it didn’t fill the entire space. The only available move was a room downgrade and I didn’t have a great experience when speaking with staff.
- 5/5
It Was A Cool Stay I Was Only There For 1 Day
- 4/5
I really like this hotel. The location is prime and its easy to get to Manhattan. I just think the hotel needs to upgrade and do a renovation ASAP. The day staff was kind, but the night shift was not friendly AT ALL.
- 4/5
The staff, however, was excellent!
- 3/5
Not worth staying here. Place was very dated, flooring and carpets are in horrible shape, stained; the lobby furniture was dated and stained as well; the main entrance door glass was loaded with fingerprints and just grimy looking. There were no pillowcases on the pillows for one of our beds, no hand towels or hand soap in the bathroom—the minimum things most guests would expect. The thermostat can’t be adjusted at all to make the room cooler/warner; elevators are the slowest I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. WiFi was spotty. Not much in the way of staff-seems a bit of a skeleton crew. The staff that was there was pleasant enough. I would not stay here again though and definitely would not recommend.
- 5/5
Very nice rooms staff is very friendly and accommodating. And the perks is a nice touch.
- 2/5
The hotel looks very nice at first glance, but is in need of updates and maintenance. The first room they assigned us reeked of cigarette smoke. We asked for a new room and then the AC did not work at all in the second room. It just kept recirculating warm/muggy air. Thankfully we were visiting in April; it would have been unbearable in the summer. We decided to deal with it since we were only there for one night and at least it didn’t smell like we were sleeping in an ashtray. The “destination fee” amenities are not up-to-date and all we got out of it was a small lukewarm coffee and a sad pastry. Location was ok, price was nice, but the stay was miserable. I recommend looking elsewhere.
- 3/5
Rooms are fine, it was clean and everything was in working order. Hallways and general spaces could use some TLC, noticed a good amount of wear and tear.
- 2/5
Although the staff were lovely the property has seen better days. The beds were too soft, and the room had no closet for hanging clothes, or drawers or substantial shelves for clothing. Safe was broken and we had to call down for a duvet and more than two towels.
- 5/5
Clean. Great
- 4/5
Good location. Easy access for Ubers. Voucher for Java and muffin each a.m., tho selection limited. Could have used a warmer bed covering/duvet, but overall a positive stay.
- 4/5
Front staff was great and all the people working there. It seemed like there were parts falling apart.
- 4/5
Nice, clean, just a little bit of remodeling needed, but still in good shape
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was friendly, no complaints.
- 5/5
Staff was very courteous and amazing on check in and check out. The room was clean and tidy as you’d expect for a nice hotel in New York. Breakfast was a little wonky with a very overstuffed gal trying to do her best. We ordered two sandwiches and they were cold when we ate them but pre-made. She took her time but the line was 6 people deep behind us. I appreciated that she hung in there! Great staff overall and a nice place close to The Barclays.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly. Room was clean. The hotel itself, could use better upkeep. The furniture in the common areas can definitely use a good steam cleaning. The breakfast was disappointing to say the least. Overall, not a bad stay. It was ok for a one night getaway, but I won't be rushing back.
- 4/5
There is a resort fee of about $35 per night which in part funds 1 daily free coffee and 1 pastry per room. Sadly during this latest visit, they had no pastries available and staff couldn't even offer other snacks due to hotel policy. That was annoying. I'll be back again if the price is right b/c the rooms are of quality experience. But The Tillary needs to revisit the value of the resort fee
- 3/5
My bed was lumpy however for the little time I was there it was ok. Need plastic cups instead of glass.
- 5/5
The room was clean and check in and check out was very smooth.
- 4/5
Good location
- 5/5
Excellent
- 2/5
Bar was adequate with friendly staff. No hair dryer, ironing board in room. Closet too small to hang clothes due to safe and refrigerator. Foul odor left in room once cleaned after second night causing me to open window to fumigate. I would not recommend.
- 4/5
Awfully noisy which I know isn’t their fault. I would just assume that a place with so much traffic around would have more soundproofing in the building! It was like I was sleeping outside Double white noise and we still couldn’t drown out the city noise. Once again, everything else about the hotel was amazing and would stay there again. But just be warned of the noise level
- 3/5
The hotel is in good location and very modern rooms. However, the walls seem to be paper thin and it’s easy to hear conversations next door and can be a problem when trying to get rest.
- 1/5
Some things that were issues: Only 2 carts for luggage - both had flat tire No working safe No working light (very dark) No comforter on the Bed Had to call House keeping for ice. the brought it in garbage bag. no ice buckets. One set of towels go the room Dog hollering in the next advertised as soundproof rooms. Can’t control thermometers from 71 degrees No luggage stand No ironing board Also we heard the lady at front desk asking for a credit because her water wasn’t working in her room Refrigerator only can fit a few water no bar, small cafe with snacks that closed at 2:30pm We had to wait extended wait time to check in and they could not find housekeeper to help us with our room, but we were able to walk-through and find housekeeper Strong marijuana smell on the third floor When checking out at itinerary at the Tilery, the lady said she wasn’t surprised that we’re leaving When arriving at Hampton, she said she wasn’t surprised that we were coming Didn’t know that the cafe was closed - after 2:30 pm. Furthermore Orbitz was not very helpful in this process in helping me get money back but that is separate review. extremely disappointed with them as well!
- 3/5
The Tillary has so much potential but it is in need of a refresh. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Their “suite” is not a suite, just a room with a pullout couch.
- 1/5
I raised the issue at the front desk the same night. Staff were polite, but the hotel couldn’t resolve it. Ended up leaving and booking another hotel at significant additional cost. Disappointing that a reservation can be confirmed but not honored, and then still treated as “non-refundable.”
- 5/5
Did not go to the bar. The breakfast was your choice between tea/ coffee and a pastry
- 5/5
Really enjoyed it! we also got a free treat from the cafe!
- 4/5
Great location great value. Free pastry and coffee in the morning a free drink and appetizer in the evening is a nice combination.
- 4/5
Free drink and coffee was cool. Operating the AC was similar to calculus lol. Bed was cool, pillows were too soft to my liking and the room wasn’t soundproof. All and all I would stay again.
- 5/5
yes, everything was excellent. I love this hotel.
- 1/5
There was mold & mildew in the shower of the first room, 2nd replacement room, and toe nail clippings visible on the side of the bed as soon as I moved into the 3rd room. The dust was so unbearable it triggered my allergies & I had to take meds. No upgrades were available for a suite or anything better due to staying for a week. The coffee & pastry options for $34 daily resort fee were lackluster. The free drink/appetizer selection at the bar was decent if you drink well liquor. Overall, it was the lack of cleanliness that ruined the my stay. Towels not replaced after housekeeping cleaned. Had two sets for two people only one set replaced. Fire Alarm starts blaring around 11am no warning….My spouse and I were about to exit my room, along with other guests on my floor, but before we did, I called the front desk and was informed random testing would occur until 3pm. Would’ve been nice to know in advance. I won’t be coming back. Too many things to ignore…

We needed an iron in our room .
- 3/5
There were no towels in the room when we checked in. I prepaid for a king room but they gave us a room with 2 fulls. The coffee maker in the room didn’t work. The hotel was attractive and staff were fine.

This hotel was fantastic. I had some unusual requests (I needed a spot to shoot and interview for a documentary) and they were so helpful. They also guided me to subway and assisted with other requests. It’s a little older hotel but everyone is so nice and accommodating - plus they give you free coffee and yummy pastries in the morning and a drink and entree in the evening. The managers are really good at what they do!
- 5/5
Quite
- 4/5
The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The room was "average" and things worked as expected. Parking will be a challenge, but can be accomplished
- 4/5
This hotel is in a great location in Brooklyn and the staff was super friendly. We had to request a coffee maker and couldn’t figure out the heat/ac in the room, but other than that it was a positive experience
- 3/5
The front desk staff were great and attentive. The room was comfortable, there were a couple of times when the television went off and or froze & one of the light fixtures in the bathroom was loose. The lobby has a vintage look and the furniture seems a little outdated. Overall experience- 3 out of 4 stars.
- 3/5
The fixtures were European complicated. I never figured how to turn on the big shower head, so I was stuck with the hand sprayer. I coukd not get the air to cone on so I spent 2 days in a room that was hot. The description said there was restaurant that really a small shop with coffee and pre-made food.
- 1/5
2 star dingy dirty filthy extremely dim an desparate need of remodeling. Towels were so used i wouldn't put my foot on.False advertisement. Expedia should checkout hotels before listing them. I left after first night . It was to late to find another but I did the next day i want my money back
- 2/5
Rooms are so tiny. Bathroom space and room has no privacy. From the bedroom you can literally hear what’s going on in the bathrooom
- 5/5
Hotel is in a great location.
- 5/5
I left 2 days early due to the weather, so i didn't experience much of the hotel.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing and the service
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff were great but was disappointed that they advertised that there was parking and it cost me $75 to park in the city parking lot wbere i was directed to go. For a hotel of that capacity 12 parking spot as per customer service is very deceiving .
- 3/5
Not the best for the price
- 5/5
Absolutely beautiful
- 2/5
Check in was pretty quick. Front desk person was pretty short. I booked a junior suite, which is like the size of a standard room in every other state, but for location, it was a good size & the layout was nice. Unfortunately, the room was a bit worn and not as clean and kempt as it initially appeared. Lots of black mold in bathroom, super wobbly coffee table, dirty pillows, random tape all over the wall near bed. They did nothing to resolve any of this. Housekeeping never came, I had to go down & ask several times & they had my room marked as clean. I booked here specifically because my departing flight was later in the day and when I called prior to booking, they said I could book a day room to extend my stay beyond late checkout without paying for another night. This worked for me, so of course I booked immediately and made my way. When I confirmed with the front desk on day 2, I was told they’re “not booking day rooms at the moment.” I explained the info given to me prior to my stay and she insisted that I couldn’t do it. Very annoying because I could’ve booked another hotel for half the price had I known this would be an issue.
- 5/5
Great staff
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff
- 3/5
The room was okay. A lot more wear and tear than I expected. The cleaning service needs to be better there was still tape left on the walls from the room being previously decorated from a past stay, and tissue and candy trash on the vanity area. The heat also took forever to come on. There should also be more pastries available early morning it was real sparse when I came down at 9:45-10 am. The biggest thing that needs to be addressed is someone at the front desk told me to come and pay cash at the front desk for incidentals, when I arrived the man at the desk ensured me that wasn't the truth. The number I called I showed to him it was indeed the front desks number. That was a little sketchy. Other than that The Tillary served its purpose.
- 4/5
However, room was small in size for price.
- 3/5
My stay was okay
- 1/5
Front desk receptionist came at 3 am and asking me this room is not in
- 5/5

- 4/5
Great amenities and area. Loved the surroundings and the staff was very nice. On the downside, it's not a quiet stay. Guests were extremely noisy and because of the close proximity of the rooms you can hear everything.
- 5/5
Room was spotless.
- 4/5
Yes the stay was good
- 2/5
The bed was sooo uncomfortable. For a 4 star hotel i would expect a lot more and it left a lot to be desired. especially when it came to the bedding -I was cold. I asked for another blanket and was told I would receive but nothing seemed different. The street noise was also not good - I didn't sleep very well and was sick. The restaurant was not much of anything either.
- 4/5
Rooms were clean. Staff was great! The rooms are a bit dated and suffering from wear and tear, but overall it was a pleasant experience.
- 2/5
Customer service was poor. Parking was terrible. Price was low, so all in all was OK but not a good experience.
- 2/5
Check In - three workers at front desk that did not seem very interested in checking us in - no explanation of hotel or where things were located. Room - dated and in need of a deep clean and remodel, bed was concaved. Also, after our first night, the room cleaning team only left one bath towel for two people?, and forgot water and creamer for coffee. Hallway noise and noisy neighbors ( I did call the front desk and they were going to send security but I never heard them come up). Gym - was decent but also in néed of cleaning - some walls and baseboards were beat up. Location - was good for our stay and daily coffee and pastry was very good.
- 3/5
Room walls are way too thin. Could hear traffic outside and people in the next room. Was hard to get a good nights rest.
- 5/5
one of the best rooms i’ve had in all of nyc! spacious, room for storage, clean design. had the best weekend here! highly recommend for barclays center concerts or games
- 5/5
Good stay
- 3/5
The Tillary was just okay. Staff was fine, but everyone lacked personality. Everyone was very bland and seemed as if they hated their jobs. Breakfast hours were posted wrong and they opened very late both mornings, so we had to go out to breakfast both days. The public restrooms on the 2nd floor were GROSS!! They hadn’t been touched, one was so plugged it was unusable, and the others were out of toilet paper. The actual room was okay, but the lack of lighting was terrible as we could hardly see anything. The temperature control was impossible to maintain. We were freezing in our room during the entirety of our stay.
- 2/5
Check in slow and dysfunctional, room was oddly/sparsley furnished. Winter time and no blanket in room. Thermostat non functional from what I could tell. Incredibly noisy, no sound insulation at all, you can hear noises at all hours like there are cars driving through your room.
- 4/5
Room was clean and staff was courteous and helpful.
- 2/5
This hotel has many of its rooms at 60-65 degrees in the winter (while I was staying there, the city hit a low of 25 degrees). The ROOM ITSELF HAD A WIND CHILL FACTOR. That's not acceptable. 70 degrees is what's comfortable for people and a few degrees above that would be nice. ESPECIALLY in the cold winter. And if the staff KNOW that the rooms are cold, they should FURNISH THE GUESTS WITH A SPACE HEATER (at the very least). While the hotel looks nice and was clean, the rooms are uncomfortable in the winter. Bring your own space heater. Also, half the staff is rude about the rooms being incredibly cold. When it's 25 degrees outside, 65 degrees is not acceptable inside. There were also no microwaves in the rooms and only half of the staff "allowed" the guests to access the only off-hours microwave. A community microwave should be accessible at all times if every room isn't going to have a microwave available. This hotel has issues.
- 1/5
Smell like smoke Not worth the cost Photos are not the same in person
- 4/5
Room was clean. Staff was nice, when I checked in the staff didn’t tell me that I needed to scan my key to take the elevator, it would have been nice to know that.
- 4/5
The room was clean. The curtain on the left side of the window was broken so it was hard to shut it all the way. The walls were a little thin so I was able to hear my neighbors in the morning but this didn’t impact my sleep. No comforter or blanket (just double sheets) on the bed so it was a little chilly at night.
- 5/5
Such a clean nice place. Would stay again
- 3/5
Common areas didn’t feel clean.
- 3/5
Okay property. Nice staff. Other guests making too much noise in hallways at night.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly at check in and gave complimentary drinks at the bar would go again
- 5/5
Very clean, nice staff, great location.
- 3/5
The room was not that clean when I got there, specially the shower. But overall, was a nice experience.
- 1/5
Did not have a coffee maker, had to ask twice, only had one bath towel (for 2 guests), had to ask twice for a hair dryer. The front desk staff did not seem very empathetic or concerned.
- 4/5

- 5/5
Absolutely enjoyed
- 5/5
Beautiful room and fantastic view (but the shower head didn’t seem to work). Great stay.
- 4/5
Great location, excellent service in our room was really spacious. I would give it five stars except that the bedding is really just sheets. They don’t use blankets or duvets which isn’t for everybody. We were fine as long as we bumped up the heat a bit.
- 2/5
Worn furniture, dirty carpet, poor water pressure and inconsistent temperature.
- 4/5
It was a decent stay. Unfortunately, despite how warm the room was, the bathroom remained an icebox. Please have someone look into that...
- 3/5
DUMBO and subway stations lines J-Q-R-6-F, however Staff doesn’t take ownership of any issue/situation. Room was OK, it includes coffee machine, fridge, however safebox wasn’t working; housekeeping leaving 1 towel only for a room occupied by 2 guests, no shower gel and other amenities. Using lobby for external photo shootings, not safe at all.
- 4/5
The room was clean. The double was a little small for my taste.
- 2/5
Lobby was clean and well maintained but i found a vape on my bed as soon as i lifted the blanket probably left by the previous gues Makes me think if the bedsheets were even clean. Management needs to ensure cleaning staff does their job well
- 3/5
Hotel was pretty decent staff a bit rude breakfast not so much as what they advertise you’re able to get one pastry and one coffee for free at breakfast other than that decent place to stay if you’re not gonna be in town for too long
- 2/5
The room and the amenities
- 1/5
This was terrible
- 5/5
i've stayed in many NYC hotels and the cleanliness, size, and convenience cannot be beat for this pricepoint! the rooms are chic and mine was available early (11am!). will be back!
- 2/5
The room felt sust, old, dingy and like a prison. Scratched doors and furniture. The room is not sound proof.
- 4/5
Nice
- 5/5
wonderful stay! loved the hotel
- 2/5
Wasn’t told of the breakfast so didn’t have it. Staff seemed inexperienced, hotel room was very dusty, lots of police cars around but that being said walking in that area felt really hectic, didn’t love the neighbourhood etc
- 5/5
Clean rooms
- 2/5
It was outdated, the breakfast card was a scam . You only get a pastry & drip coffee for free and the rest you have to pay yourself . The cashier he was a man that was serving us in the Tillary cafe was really rude. But the room service was great.
- 3/5
Dirty bed sheets; bed too soft; broken plastic layer under sheets. Floors dusty. But Staff is great.
- 2/5
Room was understocked. Only one towel for multiple people. Kept calling the desk to have towels brought up. They just kept giving excuses and never had towels delivered.
- 4/5
Room was fine
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly

The rooms have seen better days. Most of the furniture in the room is either chipped or the paint worn off. Door to room would not close properly unless you slammed it. Lower floors (we were on the 3rd) can hear the subway very loudly in the room, like a boom box in a car outside the hotel. The whole place is in dire need of an upgrade. Elevators smell like a stale joint. Had been smoked in them. The hallway also had that same stale smell. Rooms are definitely not soundproof, paper thin walls. Not worth the money even though the location was pretty decent.
- 3/5
Service. We got a room where the TV didn’t work. We called the concierge and they said a technician would come right away. He never came. We were told they would take $35 of the bill…that never happened either. We stayed at the Tillary multiple times. We were not happy with the service. The Hampton in is a block away. We may consider staying there next time.
- 5/5
Great stay and amazing room.
- 1/5
I pay 800$ for one nigh , room was very small , only 1 towel , never again
- 2/5
Entire room smelled like weed, I come to Brooklyn often wont be staying there again. Need to do a renovation everything is old and weird looking and stains on chairs.
- 5/5
Their was to many teenagers in front of the hotel playing loud music out their car
- 3/5
This was listed as a luxury room with king bed. This room was far from "luxury". Very basic with no luxury amenities in the room. Bathroom had one towel when they knew two people were going to be in the room. I had to call to get more towels and wash cloths each day.
- 2/5
I don’t like but deposit is expensive room bathroom is to poor not a clean room is narrow. Compared the room to price is to much expensive
- 3/5
Also, the Tillary has some kind of "resort fee" thing going on - I think included in the price - so don't forget to use those benefits. It gets you coffee in the morning at the hotel cafe and I think also a food item from the bar too - but the server at the bar didn't inform me of that and gladly accepted my credit card instead. Whoops...

disappointing. advertised facility below actual. Expedia relocated me. now i'm struggling to get my deposit back after two weeks! i had to declare a dispute and call back to get a resolution. this is like ordering a bag of troubles instead of hospitality.
- 1/5
There’s was no hot water
- 4/5
Beds were so so. Lobby was too brightly lit and not very inviting.
- 3/5
Only one towel provided. Tissue box had one tissue left. Crumbs or sawdust—visible dirt on the floor. Coffee and a pastry provided for breakfast was good as well as cereal provided to purchase. Price was good. 3 Stars.
- 4/5
Great staff and location.
- 4/5
Overall an okay stay. With no complaints, other than the cafe on the property food prices.
- 5/5
Good location for walking around Brooklyn and walking to Manhattan. Train access within 10 minute walk. Grocery/Deli 24 hour access across the street.
- 2/5
Tener el cuenta las filtraciones en los baños y un poco más de limpieza en los pasillos ,las áreas comunes y los baños
- 2/5
Tempature in shower was hot or boiling. Shower would back up and not drain properly. Staff was not rude but not very friendly. Great location.
- 1/5
We had a room confirmed. I called the hotel to let them know that were close and would be there soon. They said you are booked for two days and we will see u soon. When we arrived the told us and may other guests that we didn’t have rooms. They had overbooked. They did offer to send me yo a hotel near JFK which is 35 minutes away but that it would be comped due to thier mistakes. I said ok but only if I do t have to pay for it. That hotel is not close to here. When I got there I was made to pay for it anyway. The Hilton called them and said you need to give me a card to pay for the room and they wouldn’t give it to him. So I had to pay anyway and drive far away from Brooklyn.
- 3/5
staff was great although we didn't have too much interaction as we were there only overnight. The rooms were clean but the common areas looked very worn and the rooms are dark and somewhat dingy. Some lights weren't working. It's a shame because the place has a lot of potential.
- 5/5
Walking distance to Brooklyn Bridge Park and DUMBO. Good size room and pleasant staff.
- 3/5
room was just average but okay, lots of things missing that we had to call the desk for, only one towel, no wash cloths, room was booked for two, no hand soap at the sink, no coffee pods for the keurig etc. Not a great stay for the price but location was good.
- 4/5
THE ROOM I STAYED IN AND SETTING FIR BREAKFAST
- 1/5
This left me stranded late at night with a suitcase and no accommodation. I had to urgently book another hotel, which ended up costing $500 more due to limited availability at that hour. This experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. If adequate steps aren’t taken to address this issue and the added costs, I will be hesitant to use Expedia in the future. I look forward to a prompt resolution.
- 1/5
Do not go to this place unless you enjoy rooms that smell like cigarette smoke covered in cheap cologne. I'm not joking when I say all the rooms we went into smelled like this. And I say 'all the rooms' because when we told the front desk staff that we could not stay in such a smelly room, they had someone manually go into every room in the hotel one by one to try to find another place for us. You read that correctly: the staff did not even know which rooms were empty. So as we followed them around, they barged into multiple rooms that were actually occupied, terrifying the people inside them. When the staff finally found some empty rooms, they all smelled like cigarette smoke covered in cheap cologne. Does this sound like a hotel you want to stay in? Please stay somewhere else.
- 4/5
Only downside is there is little to no sound insolation. You hear people’s convos clearly in the room next door. So on a weekend and with people coming in at all hours I was woken up a lot. Despite being a very sound sleeper, the hotel room doors are very loud when they shut it would startle me awake repeatedly throughout the night. But beds were comfy. Rooms were nice. I just recommend packing earplugs.
- 5/5
Easy!
- 3/5
Loud road noise and subway noise
- 3/5
I did give a snarky retort “Do you think we want to share?” The room was very small and dated.
- 3/5
However, our rooms were not super clean on arrival - there was visible dust on the desks and dressers, and gritty floors in the rooms. The ceiling above my bed was covered in red adhesive spots as though something had previously been hung there and had been poorly removed. Both rooms were stocked on arrival with only one towel and no bottled water (although on subsequent days water was provided and two bath towels were left). We had two luxury king rooms - in mine, the bathroom had been updated to a wonderful walk in shower but my colleagues was a tub combo with a kinda mildewy shower curtain. The
- 1/5
Mediocre hotel at best. Curt and unwelcoming front desk. Nothing to warrant a repeat stay.
- 1/5
Do not stay here! Our room was full of flying gnats - when we complained and asked for a different room the desk clerk said they had been getting calls all night and the whole 6th floor (ours) was infected - they did move us but why wait until we complained - the entire floor should have been evacuated. There were service elevators for the staff but they were always using ours. The place was filthy and gross. There is a nice looking Hampton across the street that I will try next time.
- 4/5
Clean great location
- 3/5
Front desk staff wasn’t very friendly. Room was just okay. Beds were surprisingly comfortable.
- 3/5
356 a night one expects better!
- 3/5
Staff was slow to respond. I wouldn’t stay again for the price
- 5/5
Great hotel experience!
- 4/5
There was no laundry room avail as mentioned on our booking site. The initial staff was good as she was able to hold our luggage and was very pleasant. The downfall was that our room was not ready upon check in and threw off our day. The staff was ok , not too hospitable especially since our room was not ready. The staff got better by our third day and check out.
- 3/5
Comfortable bed and room. Very nice roof top bar. Our only issue was housekeeping. Two people staying in room but only 1 towel and no washcloths. Called in the morning when we were waiting to shower and it was over hour before the arrived with more towels. By that point we had given up and were ready to leave
- 4/5
It is a good hotel.
- 3/5
There was no parking on site as posted. Our room did not have a Keurig as posted and front desk said they were sold out so no extra Keurig was available. Room did not have towels and washcloths and the staff that came to bring them bought 1 and the reservation was for 2.
- 3/5
the man on reception was abrupt and not too friendly. had a small problem and he seemed fed up with being asked a question. Over all state of hotel was shabby especially caret condition. Beds very comfortable and good bathroom. would not use this hotel again
- 5/5
Clean great customer service
- 5/5
The room was clean with a beautiful view of the bridge. The staff was nice and friendly. Although there is no onsite parking and street parking is not guaranteed, there is a parking garage on the next block. We later found out the hotel has a parking option that can be added to your booking. We would stay here again.
- 3/5
The hotel was well placed for us although the traffic was very noisy. The room was nice although the tv didn't work very well probably due to a poor signal. The main feeling was the hotel was poorly managed and could be much better if greater care was given.
- 3/5
Probably one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on. The staff had pretty dismissive answers to any questions.

Didnt like anything it was dirty and felt like a 1 star motel. I wasted my money and would like a full refund. Towels and rags were dirty and full of holes, the room was dusty and right now there's stale bread behind the bed room 319.
- 1/5
We stayed for one night in the junior suite. It was a horrible experience. The sofa bed was broken and junior suite was not separate bedroom which description listed on website. The front desk was rude without providing a solution
- 2/5
The hotel smelled like cigarettes. Took us 5 calls to reception, another 45 minutes to get an ironing board. Room wasn’t ready even though we checked in at 4pm. Call the elevator? Add another 8 minutes to your schedule.
- 5/5
Staff was kind and room was clean other than a few questionable spots of brown in the bedding.
- 3/5
Everything was fine, except the shampoo and conditioner dispensers were broken
- 5/5
Our room was very clean. It was a nice view and overall just really loved our stay
- 2/5
The chair was scraped up.
- 5/5
Quite. Simple
- 2/5
The staff was rude (3:00 pm staff) , there was a roach in my bathroom crawling on the mirror and the shower was not clean. I’ve never experienced this the first time I stayed at the Tillary hotel, the first time was very pleasant and the room was clean.
- 3/5
Enjoy my stay stuff was ok.
- 5/5
It is affordable beautiful small hotel. Perfectly located. Nice location. Kind and easy going staff . I highly recommend Tillary Hotel:)
- 4/5
I loved the staff! The area is very secluded and the room was obviously not not cleaned thoroughly before we arrived there were mint wrappers on the table
- 4/5
Good stay
- 5/5
The rooms are nice abd clean and the bed is super comfortable
- 5/5
The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was clean and the location was conveniently for us. I will absolutely stay here again.

Not super close to any trains, dirty, poorly staffed, not very comfortable bed. It’s cheap, but that’s all.

- 5/5
Great experience. Have never stayed in a Hotel in Brooklyn, NY!! It was a nice change. Hope to stay again for future trips!!!👍👍👋👋
- 1/5
I advise not to go there not matter what very bad service and rude attitude staff also bad area also charge for open buffet but never get any thing
- 5/5
Only issue you can hear everything that goes on in every room in example we spent two nights listening to loud music and things we didn’t want to hear
- 4/5
Nice hotel that has seen better days. Still, it’s clean with nice helpful staff. Not a good location in terms of restaurants or conveniences. Big busy intersection. But very good value. I would stay here again when I have business in Brooklyn.
- 4/5
The property was well situated for our needs. It was about an 8 minute walk to the nearest train platform. The room was quiet, spacious, also nice and dark for sleeping and the AC worked very well.
- 5/5
A beautiful please to go just to get away from everything and forget your worries and enjoy yourself
- 3/5
Our room appeared clean until we got to the bed. There was hair on the sheets and one of the pillows. The bed was very uncomfortable and when we asked for extra pillows, the front desk said we could get some but they never came. We chose this location because it had a cafe, which was well stocked in the morning, and a bar/restaurant for the evening. We wanted to have a quick and easy dinner after a day of travel, but they were only making chicken tenders and fries for food, nothing else was available on a Friday night. Overall our stay was ok. The location made up for most of the shortcomings of the hotel. I think I would look to the newer hotel across the street if we travel back to Brooklyn in the future.
- 3/5
Does what it needs to do for price. If you want something nicer for your stay and have budget for it do it if not this will do.
- 3/5
The TV wasn’t working- the picture would flicker in and out and the audio would get off track with the video. Out of shower gel or the mounted dispenser was broken- other than that- nice shower. Previous guests trash (empty phone charge box, empty jewelry bag, wrapper) left in the bedside table. There is a not small facility fee which is for all the hotel amenities- but they had literally nothing for Monday guests. No bar or food service, no grab and go- nothing- had to walk to the bodega in the rain to grab some basics that I’m sure they stock when that area of the hotel is opened and staffed. Scheduled a wake up call for 3:30am (early flight). And it never came- thankfully my alarm was enough to get me up. I got a good price because I booked at the last minute for a Monday night, it was like 35-40% less than the weekend night cost- I wouldn’t stay again at the full price- but it was a perfectly fine hotel for what I paid.
- 2/5
For the price I expected to get wash cloths but we didn’t, the bathroom was broken the first night. The receptionist on the day we checked in was very cold.
- 2/5
There was nothing I did like.
- 5/5
Overall pleasant experience. Would definitely book again.
- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property itself was beautiful, and the rooms were spotless and well-maintained. The highlight for me was the incredibly comfortable bed…one of the best I’ve experienced during my travels. The overall atmosphere was relaxing, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. I would absolutely visit again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and inviting place to stay.
- 1/5
Also the temp in room was cold and no one helped they said to adjust the thermostat but thermostat was not functioning Overall for the price you pay it’s not worth it

Employees at the front act like they don’t want to help you/ do their job - just get a new job lol. Hotel room was disgusting when i checked in but they cleaned it pretty quick
- 5/5
This hotel was so nice, I loved my bathtub and the rooftop balcony. The front desk people were so kind and supportive too!
- 4/5
The best part about my stay was Ivette (at the front desk)!! She helped me when I was frantic about messing up my reservation, made sure I comfortable while multitasking other patrons and then got me checked in! Overall nice stay walking distance to Barclay Center. Cute cafe. Didn’t enjoy the half door shower because water gets on the floor or that you have to go to the lobby then walk up a flight of steps for the ice machine. The staff was accommodating, especially Ivette. 😊
- 3/5
Wish that we had different options for breakfast not just pastries. Also wish that the café would be open much later.
- 4/5
We really enjoyed this hotel! Spacious room, comfortable bed and sofa bed, easy to use thermostat. Would have loved to have a microwave in addition to refrigerator. The hotel is conveniently located in terms of transportation. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only issue we had was the shower had a half glass partition and no curtain so the floor was almost always wet. I wouldn’t recommend a stay here for families with small children.
- 4/5
It was good.
- 1/5
This place is a scam. Was absolutely filthy and the beds were lumpy old trash heaps
- 2/5
You will find out when you see a charge on your statement without any previous disclosure information OR even a receipt. Furniture is chipped, & humidity in the bathrooms.
- 2/5
I experiencing many annoying things. The TV would drop the news every minute or two and I would have to reconnect it. I gave up. The coffee maker would either not brew at all or brew two cups at once so it ran all over the place. Trying to take a shower without getting water all over the floor was impossible as getting the shower aimed right would result in it not showering the wall instead of me. The Tillary was honest in saying they had microwaves but why a safe instead of a micro? the refrigerator did not cool the food at a proper temperature so unsafe to use. the cleaning staff was good. My one compliment is there was very little noise in the room.
- 5/5
Stay was great. Area felt safe. Parking onsite or close by available.
- 4/5
Enjoyed the stay. Great location and super nice staff. My only issue was the vaping smell on the floor hallway and upon entering the room.
- 4/5
Clean. Good service.
- 4/5
Room was clean, gym was good, some of the staff was friendly, bed was good enough. Nothing exciting, but everything you need to sleep and shower not too far from transit. I can’t believe they don’t complimentary drip coffee or a water station in lobby.
- 4/5
Bed comfortable, early check-in appreciated. Carpet in hall is stained and needs replacing, bathroom vanity needs repair, toilet roll holder broken. Television turns off by itself intermittently. Ok, but not great overall.
- 5/5
Service was great and property was nice and clean and safe.
- 5/5
Nice stay and close to the city.
- 3/5
Great location and the front desk customer service was pleasant. However there were not adequate supplies for the room, especially if you have two guests (housekeeping was only placing out one washcloth and not replacing the toilet paper rolls). Had to continuously contact the front desk for replacements. Plus hearing the other guests noises such as their laughter and doors slamming was a nuisance. Had a meal at the rooftop restaurant, again pleasant service but a quarter of the items on the menu weren't available.
- 3/5
I would stay here again as it was very convenient to my daughter’s apartment, clean and comfortable. However in our room, the toilet seat was broken off and the bathroom floor was always wet, I think due to a leak. The shower was also very complicated and had one of those stupid half doors that then resulted in the bathroom floor only getting wetter. Other than that, it was fine.
- 1/5
Overbooked. Denied at the door at 11pm after told room was ready.
- 1/5
The front desk person told us we didnt have a reservation. Then once he finally found it, even though I told him I booked via expedia. He didn't tell us where anything was in the hotel. I overheard him telling different group of ppl. Then we were given keys that didnt work. Not only didnt they work but when they finally worked someone was already in the room. Dont get me started on the parking situation. If it werent for Julissa we would have left. She was our best moment. We will not return here nor will we recommend this hotel to anyone.
- 2/5
They had problems with the reservation… couldn’t find it (even thought it was prepaid in Expedia), we had the information in the App. Check-in was difficult. The place is not as it appears in the pictures.
- 3/5
Average overall! Luxury mattresses and pillows will be a strong suggestion. However, it was a clean, neat presentation.
- 2/5
Toilet was not clean The room was dingy. Wouldn’t stay there again. WIFi was not working
- 5/5
This property was nice.
- 5/5
clean and supportive staff!
- 2/5
Their bathroom and phone wasn’t working we tried changing but it was to late to do so
- 2/5
The front desk was very unhelpful even when a smoke alarm went off in our room (a hairdryer) and the shower ran cold and overall, it’s a very dingy, unkept hotel for the price.
- 3/5
Not great for the money spent, bathroom has only one door and shower water get out of the shower. Also be aware the increased the security deposit is 250+ taxes now.
- 3/5
There was nothing amazing except the location. There was something on the ceiling above the bed. There was very little lighting in the room. There was one washcloth in the bathroom and the towels were thin. The service at the T Room was passable. The restaurant closed early on a Saturday during the holiday weekend. If I were staying for more than one night I would have complained.
- 2/5
It was ok
- 1/5
Don’t be fooled. This isn’t a boutique hotel. It’s a run down money trap. Choose the Holiday Inn instead.
- 2/5
This was a terrible hotel experience, I had an unhappy stay here. The hotel is incredibly short-staffed to the point of extreme inconvenience. There's only one housekeeper on each floor, we let the staff know that our room is ready for cleaning when we head out, but when we return after a long day, the room still isn't cleaned up. We have to wait in the lobby for two hours even after repeated urging for the room to be finally cleaned up. This happens every single day. The wifi was extremely slow. The price is completely mismatched with the quality of the hotel. The entire hotel basically run by just a handful of staff.
- 3/5
Excellent location. Shower was very good and room was clean.
- 2/5
It was run down!
- 2/5
Room has poor lighting and somewhat dreary Bed was sub par Restaurant closed Just nothing to make me want to return ..
- 5/5
I truly enjoyed my stay at the Tillary. This was my second stay at the hotel. I was met at the door by Roberto who greeted and helped me with my luggage. I was then helped by the front desk staff of Brianna and Jalissa who helped me figure out my options around. They were friendly and patient. I enjoyed my floor and room which were clean and spacious. All in all a great experience at a good price.

- 4/5
However, by night two it was evident the a/c wasn't working bcuz it was 79 in the room even though I turned it down to 72.We asked the hotel to check it while we were out for the day, when we got back they informed us that the a/c was indeed broken and moved us to the rim next door. This rim was exactly what I'd requested, a King suite with a lobbying rim and a bedroom. A full size couch, Jack and Jill sink, and just more space and a working a/c. The rest of the stay was perfect which is why I still gave them 4 stars. Keep ur windows closed bcuz the fire trucks, when traffic was heavy, and police sirens can get loud. We found that out on the night we tried to get some air bcuz out room was so hot. We eventually just took cool showers & shut the windows, sleeping on top of the covers.
- 3/5
I liked the courtesy of the front desk and the courtesy granted for a late checkout, I loved the hospitality of the guy in the breakfast area, he was very attentive and helpful.......These are the dislikes, the lobby carpet definitely needed to be vaccumed, also the elctronic sensor door from the lobby to the garage area was broke, i had to force it open with my hands to get in from the garage which meant i had to put all my bags down. You guys need to get that fi ed for $295/night.
- 5/5
Great location! Walking distance to dining, coffee shops, highly recommend this place for a quick one night trip!!
- 3/5
The room was small and the front desk attendant was very nice, but there were a group of men constantly hanging around smoking weed, either outside the building or inside in the hallway. Also you can hear everything going on outside the room in the hallway. Walls are very thin. It was “inexpensive” for Brooklyn but not inexpensive enough.
- 5/5
Hotel and room was nice and clean, and we were able to check in pretty early, so that really helped with our flight arriving in the morning. Staff was nice and helpful, and the price was really great for the location. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again!!
- 5/5
This is my favorite hotel in my favorite city. It’s so beautiful and clean- luxurious yet affordable. The rooftop bar is to die for and the bartender is so nice. I’m moving to NY in a year and genuinely will be sad that I wont need a hotel as often because of how much I enjoy staying here. 10000000/10 can’t wait to come back!

- 4/5
Really convenient location for travellers. Subway station is a walkable distance and there are stores and restaurants close by as well.
- 3/5
I did NOT like that the property’s restaurant was closed. Nothing stated that when I booked. Also, the cafe had NO fruit for breakfast. I specifically booked this property based on them having an on site restaurant and breakfast. Neither of which I was able to enjoy. I like that at least I was able to walk to a restaurant and grocery store.

The Lady at the front desk was so rude and unprofessional for starters. If she didn’t want to work she should’ve stayed home. The hotel walls and floors was old and peeling. If I could give this place a 0 star I would. The parking is 60$ to park on a metal ramp. Only 8 cars can fit so it’s first come first serve. I drove around for a hr looking for parking. Mostly all the streets close to the hotel has no standing signs. Which mean u can’t park, sneeze or die in that area. I will never stay there again.
- 5/5
Everything is good

There was a dirty condom under my bed that did not belong to me also housekeeping failed to properly clean my room and I stayed from Friday to wednesday

Great stay!

It’s ok for overnight, decent walk too Barclay Center
- 2/5
When I got there, I found out that they were overbooked and a room was not available. I was at an event late. While I was booked at another hotel free of charge, it was really late, and I had to take an Uber to another part of Brooklyn. I picked this hotel for the location. It was very inconvenient.
- 4/5
It wasn't what I expected
- 2/5
Property is nice and convenient, but I was disturbed to find out my pre-paid bill was increased by $30/night (plus tax). Outrageous!
- 5/5
Great stay! definitely coming back :)
- 5/5
Great place
- 2/5
I had to have my room cleaned again prior to unpacking. No ironing board, no toiletries, no wash clothes, broken body gel dispenser, foul odor in halllway, front desk rude and unprofessional . Cafe not rated and not open regular hours. Lounge furniture dirty - room surfaces dirty - no comforters provided had to request
- 2/5
The reception area is the place that sets the tone of your stay upon entry. The middle aged Caribbean lady at the front desk had such a HORRIBLE ATTITUDE. For the price that the hotel charges, I should not experience the unpleasantness that I received from her. Furthermore, I did not use the amenities and was charged a resort fee. I believe that should be optional based upon the guest and what they have used. It was convenient to stay there, would I go back, no.

I had to search for housekeeping when they were on the floor to get items. The location is good, but their service is poor.

It's a lovely hotel in an excellent location. Great customer service.
- 3/5
A boutique hotel that needs some serious TLC, room size was good w/2 double beds, the sliding mirror in the bathroom that connected the bedroom and bathroom was interesting, these had to be apt before... no free coffee or water in the lobby, no breakfast options, no microwave anywhere, so have reasonable expectations but for the price go room to room and fix the small things, add a microwave or have one available..polish this plave back up then the price willl make sense, they had umbrellas for use which was amazing...
- 5/5
No complaints.

For the amount of money spent for two nights (approx $530 $250 security deposit) I absolutely would not stay here again. For starters, we found multiple orange stains on our bed sheets, including some of the towels. Some of the wood furnishings were chipped or slightly damaged in some areas. The bathroom did not seem thoroughly cleaned, we spotted several black corners on the sink and in the shower (possibly mildew? From sitting water). There was no overhead light fixtures so the room was pretty dark besides the four lamps placed in each corner of the room. Not to mention there was only one mirror and that was in the bathroom; no full body mirrors. Lastly, very odd, but taking a 20 minute hot shower consistently caused the room to feel unbearably humid with the vents going— the only relief was turning on the ac, however it’s currently 28 degrees in NY so that wasn’t very pleasant either. This was not what I was expecting whatsoever for a 3.5 or 4 star hotel.

THEY ARE THIEVES! I left my earrings on the bed they told me they had them on the phone when i got back fo retrieve them they said they didnt have them so now im out of a pair of earrings!!! NEVER STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE THINGS THAT MEAN ALOT!!! My grandfather who passed away in 2020 bought them for me & now they are gone because someone who works for this hotel stole them!

Bad front desk staff. Room and hotel lobby/entry are not clean. Room had bad lighting, shower does not have closed door plus have to ask for bath towels.
- 3/5
There were a few things that were a bit incomvience like not having a shower door or no way to control air conditioning but we weren’t in the room much so it didn’t matter
- 3/5
There was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom, so it was lucky that I brought some conditioner. The shower was odd in that the glass pane wasn’t large enough to keep water in the shower. A door would have helped, or an extended piece of pane. The couple of times that I visited the front desk, they seemed annoyed that I had walked up. But the room was comfortable and quiet, and it’s a great location.

This is a great hotel if you need a home base , a spot to sleep and keep your items.

Only one elevator worked the entire weekend and it took 10 to 15 minutes to get up&/or down. Nowhere to park besides the hotel for $60 a night.

Nice and calm

I like staying at the Tillary as I can use public transportation to visit folks. The rooms are clean and it’s easy to get services from staff.

This is a repeat visit for me i love it there

Overall Cleanliness is okay. Visible dust and pillow case was a little dirty (mold or something). Service is not bad

Very convenient

It was very convenient to travel back & forth to midtown.

Great stay; great service.
- 3/5
The hotel is in a good location - walking distance to shops, indoor food market, train stations.

I immediately informed management, and while they responded quickly . I’m still concerned about cleanliness and pest control. I would strongly recommend that future guests check their bedding carefully before settling in. Hopefully, the property takes this issue seriously and addresses it properly. Would not return unless I’m sure this problem has been resolved.

I paid for a Kingsize room but got a Queen size bed with a smaller room. Didn’t receive the room that I paid for & didn’t get refunded for it. The lady at the front desk was no help.

I had to kill two insects roaming around the room before i could even enjoy my valentine. It Felt uncomfortable and when i went to tell staff that same night, I felt like the staff didn’t believe me

I love the hotel and would stay again but maybe when its warmer. Everything was perfect minus how cold the room was.
- 3/5
the towels are not clean. Black marks on the towels. And then pillow sheets are really old. The TV doesn’t have share screen function.
- 4/5
It was so quiet and very clean space.

They gave me the wrong room. When I told them about it they told me I was in the correct room . Which was a lie. Our toilet over flood when we had someone come look at it . The guy said they wasn’t suppose to have you in here because they needed to fix the bathroom . Used all our towels because the floor was wet asked for towels and no one ever came

The pictures are deceiving. This is hotel is run down. From the lobby to the room.

The view from the room is BEAUTIFUL. Staff is friendly!

I have stayed at this property a few times in the past and always had an exceptional experience. This time was different. Staff seemed disengaged and were not very friendly. I was moved to a new room after night one, due to cold water in the shower. The new room was a bit dirty, coffee stains on the wall and on the light switches. One of the wall lights in the room was broken. Also, not a fan of the shower, as there’s no way to shower and water not spray out onto the floor - poor design (pretty, but not practical). On-site parking is expensive. You must ask for housekeeping services the day before, and it’s not guaranteed. Hallways always smelled of marijuana. Lastly, the cafe was closed the entire time. A completely different experience than the prior time. Very disappointed in my stay this time.

Not a good experience! The room was not clean, there were other people’s hair on the bed and in the bathroom. The heater didn’t work and it was really cold during the night. Staff were not welcoming or friendly.

Enjoyed my stay, good location

Property tried to charge additional fees on top of what was already paid, and required cash deposit of $250. Every hotel in the world takes a credit card for incidentals etc… They wanted 250 up front but they will only refund that $250 in 7-10 business days. I already paid for the room. All I had to pay was $34 for hotel fees. It was not disclosed in anything I was not about to try to rebook a room at that moment.

Amazing stay easy check-in and staff were very professional
- 4/5
For NYC the rooms were bigger then anticipated.
- 2/5
I loved the area but the night staff was confrontational and rude just for asking simple questions. I would definitely not recommend to anyone I know.
- 2/5
It was small, the service was bad.

Ok

Some very unsavory characters walking around in the loddy it was obvious that they were not staying at the hotel.. the fact that this hotel charges $60 for its gas. It's a park there. It's ridiculous. I definitely will be staying at the hotel across the street whose customers don't have to pay an outrageous amount of money to park there.

This is a nice property but it can be a LOT better. The front desk check in was sketchy with a suprise $68 charge to have a coffee maker in my room. Didn’t make sense to me either since i bought a package. The room was nice, very hip and sexy but the TV never worked properly despite many attempts. Great water pressure in the gorgeous bathroom-- but the hand towels were a step above a paper towel. They dont clean the room until the 2nd day which means a 2 night stay will not recieve housekeeping. Great location, walkable, safe. The Tillary is OKAY but can be great if they tighten up some small but important details.

They lied about the price and tried to over charge me

The pictures definitely looked better than the actual property.
