Reviews
The Pearl Hotel is highly praised for its exceptional staff, cleanliness, and convenient location near Broadway shows, Times Square, and various dining options. Guests frequently mention the quietness of the rooms despite the hotel's central location. However, some guests have noted issues with the shower and electrical outlets in their rooms, as well as a need for updates in the bathrooms.

Great location and a really nice hotel. Staff were very friendly and happy to assist when needed. Will be staying here again on our next trip.
- 5/5
Location was perfect for our trip which included multiple Broadway shows. Was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast, which was a nice way to start our day. Staff was very nice and helpful.
- 3/5
No bottled water provided. Spending $350 a night and no amenities is pathetic.
- 4/5
Great location, near all theaters and close to subway stations. Hotel offers free breakfast and snacks! Not that great of shower pressure.

First of all, the staff was incredible! Very warm and friendly and extremely helpful. Secondly, the location was hard to beat. The wine service from 5 to 6 was a nice touch.

Loved our time here. Great location (both to the subway and to Broadway, etc). Super friendly staff. Tasty breakfast (as far as hotel breakfasts go). Would stay here again.
- 4.5/5
Our room was spacious. Staff were nice and helpful. Location is great. A small thing: I would have change the carpet in the room. It has an old look.

The check in and staffs at the front desk. As a long time customer, they really accommodated me and I really appreciate it. The room was spacious and my friend enjoyed the happy hour and her stay. Thank you for another great time!
- 5/5
Excellent location
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable, and accessible to so many theaters on Broadway.
- 1/5
the manager, Jamie, was very rude to us. The check-in process was a disaster, with the staff not being able to promptly handle even a modest line of clients (three couples, including us. The staff also never told us that there was major construction works going on. Terrible stay !
- 5/5
Very nice hotel with large clean rooms. It was amazingly quiet and so close to everything. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
The room was large by New York City standards. Was across the street from Eugene O’Neil theater. The staff were helpful, always available, friendly. There was free continental breakfast but we didn’t try it, we were out in the city early and stayed late. Air conditioning was comfortable. The bathroom was so large and clean.
- 5/5
Okay, so breakfast is not that great, no food-food (eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, etc) coffee was mid. Everything else (room, lobby,check-in, doormen, bathrooms, staff) 10/10. Best place to stay if you are going to a Broadway show). Doorman will arrange transportation the night before. 10% off Steakhouse next door that connects to the lobby. At check-in received a free room upgrade. Called for early check-in, even though unavailable they did let us store our luggage until check-in. Shower took a long time to get hot. Tip: turn on sink to get hot water faster. It's an extremely nice hotel for the price and location, will definitely stay here again.

- 5/5
Staff was really nice! Room was great! If you ant to be in Times Square, the location can't be beat.
- 5/5
Fantastic hotel. Car service is available to LGA & JFK for a price lower than Uber.
- 5/5
The Pearl is a home away from home. They have an amazing staff that makes you feel comfortable, safe, and welcomed. The Pearl is steps away from the greatest of NY’s broadway shows, Times Square, and great restaurants and shops. I’ve made it a point to stay only at The Pearl when I visit the city.
- 5/5
Nice updated rooms, large bathroom, and friendly staff. Wish there was a little more offered at the continental breakfast, but that is just nitpicking.
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
Excellent location, and very quiet considering it’s right by Time Square. Staff was very friendly and the evening wine from 5-6pm was great. Will definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
Awesome hotel- preferred a king size bed but it wasn’t available.
- 5/5
Great people, great place
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
Super comfortable. Good sized room for NYC, and transport options are excellent (two blocks from several subway lines, so easy to get up and down the island or over to Bklyn). Room was cleaned each day with fresh towels, the cafe was always available for a quick cup of coffee and wine in the evenings in the lobby. The staff is great, and always ready to help. Fabulous if you are coming to NYC for shows! It's in the absolute heart of the theater district.
- 4/5
Perfect location,
- 5/5
Breakfast was limited
- 5/5
Everything was exactly what I wanted. The location was perfect, the staff was friendly, and the rooms was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Great staff, location, clean, quiet. Nice little continental breakfast and snacks available all day. We loved our stay at The Pearl!
- 5/5
The staff at the Pearl was fantastic and very helpful. The room was clean and we had a problem with our tv which was fixed immediately, after hours, on a weekday. The happy hour with the wine was a fun surprise and I liked having the option to upgrade my room when I arrived. My only suggestion would be having a few more yogurt or fruit options for the breakfast. We had a gluten free guest who was a little limited. We would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
This was our third time to stay at The Pearl, and it has become our favorite midtown hotel. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, and the included breakfast is lovely. They also have a nightly wine happy hour, but we didn’t go.
- 5/5
The Pearl is now our go to when visiting NYC. It checks all the boxes. Glad we finally found you!
- 5/5
Continental breakfast was perfectly adequate, however, the use of disposable plates & cutlery reduces the feel a little of what was otherwise a perfect stay in a great hotel in the perfect NY location
- 4/5
temperature difficult to control. I was very cold my whole visit. Overhead light blinked constantly. As with most hotels in NYC there was no comfortable chair in the room. It is difficult but rooms with comfortable chairs can be found.
- 5/5
Excellent quiet location and lobby tucked in on 49th st near the subway. Top notch staff and room
- 5/5
A great place to stay
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Very clean. Perfect location in Times Square. Walking distance to everything
- 5/5
Spacious room, friendly staff ,great access to shows & restaurants
- 5/5
The room was also great and super clean Breakfast and wine hour are also fantastic!
- 5/5
This Hotel is great for visiting NY. It is located practically in Times Square, and it is convenient for mobility in the subway to all the points of interest. The two bed room was large and comfortable. Worth the small price difference from the big brands. Staff very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was convenient. Free coffee all day. Will definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing. Great Location.
- 4/5
Room was nice but need air freshening.
- 5/5
Great staff! A few minute walk to Time Square and “Chicago” was almost next door.
- 5/5
The room was clean and spacious (and quiet!). Staff was friendly and quick to be helpful. Continental breakfast was a nice amenity. Location is perfect for theater-goers. My one recommendation would be to add a water-bottle filler somewhere, whether in the gym or the breakfast area; that would be SO nice and convenient.
- 5/5
great location
- 5/5
Modern and clean property.
- 5/5
Walking distance to everything Time Square and theaters. Great food and easy walk to Central Park. Would definitely stay again!

Great location. Rooms were very spacious for NYC and very clean. The continental breakfast and evening wine hour added to the value of the stay. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was great and we especially enjoyed the convenience of the continental breakfast.

If only every NYC hotel was lucky enough to have an employee like Keegan! He is professional, welcoming, knowledgeable and AMAZING. We love The Pearl - clean rooms, great breakfast and in a great location. Our go to hotel for every visit!
- 5/5

- 5/5
Great experience. Staff was super accommodating with the pending snow storm!
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
Stay here.
- 5/5
There was one little hiccup when we signed in. I guess we missed that we had to have a photo i.d. to stay there. I had left my driver's license at home and my husband's wasn't good enough to carry us both. I lucked out by finding a picture of my passport on my phone. The staff behind the front desk was more than pleasant, efficient and helpful. Only complaint in the room for me was that the pillows were too firm. My husband wished he could have upped the heat as there was no extra blanket. He couldn't adjust the thermostat . We ended up being fine. Nice hotel, great location and excellent restaurant attached where you get 10% off if you are staying at the hotel.
- 5/5
Wonderful experience.
- 4/5
The staff is so friendly from the front desk to housekeeping.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel with courteous staff.

- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
The room was clean and sufficiently spacious, the staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful, and the location was superb!
- 4/5
The hour location is fantastic.
- 4/5
Muy buen hotel. Está de época. Lo único malo el desayuno, muy pocas opciones de comida sana
- 5/5
Excellent location, and room. We enjoyed our stay here.
- 5/5
It was a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and you couldn’t beat the location!!
- 1/5
Customer service was rude and terrible. Rooms were not clean. It smelled bad. The toilet wouldn’t flush. Breakfast wasn’t good at all. Before booking they said it was a buffet breakfast. Lies. It was some pastry, boiled eggs and juice. Very bad stay. I will never book this hotel in the future. Terrible
- 5/5
Great location and easy to drive to the hotel!
- 5/5
You enjoy an amazing experience. The breakfast amenities are excellent. The room is clean and quiet. You feel safe the entire time you were there The atmosphere was intimate and we are already planning to go back next year.
- 3/5
Took forever for the hot water to work and had some issues with toilet. Location and staff were amazing
- 5/5
Central location, good staff, nice snacks and breakfast.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Quick check in. Clean/nice room. Breakfast included. Wine at 5
- 5/5
Nice sized room. Big bed. Clean.
- 5/5
I enjoyed the breakfast options and, as a tea drinker, I greatly appreciated that the hot water did not come out of a container that previously held coffee (which ruins the taste of tea). Also enjoyed the breakfast room decor and seating options. It was really nice place to relax and have breakfast. The staff was very personable and helpful. The room was very clean which was appreciated and the beds were very comfortable. I'd just say that the room decor was a bit dated and a little worn but this was a minor issue. Lastly the location was super convenient to the theater district, Times Square and Rockefeller Center. Overall, it was a great stay and I would recommend The Pearl Hotel.
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful
- 5/5
Clean rooms. Friendly staff and a great complementary breakfast.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and accomodating and the room spacious, especially for Manhattan standards. We really enjoyed the location as well, short distance to many theaters, restaurants, etc
- 5/5
All of the staff very customer service oriented . Great location , great rooms . Definitely recommend.
- 5/5
Room was spotless & the hotel staff were attentive, very friendly & accommodating.
- 5/5
The hotel was amazing and the staff made it feel like home. Everyone was amazing! Thank you for an amazing stay!
- 5/5
Great stay! Highly recommend!
- 3/5
Our stay at the Pearl Hotel was good overall. The stay started out rough. After traveling all day, we went to our room and cable tv was out. They tried to help fix the problem, but problem was left until next day. And unfortunately, there was a musty smell in our room. Next day, TV cable problem and musty was resolved.Breakfast was basic and needs improvement. Our deluxe room was very nice, roomy for NYC standards. Bed was comfortable, shower was very nice, and room came with refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Housekeeping did a good job. Front desk staff were courteous. Doormen provided excellent help throughout our stay.
- 4/5
The hotel provided us with a room with tiny, blocked view, windows. It’s as if there are no windows at all. Small room, to be clear.
- 4/5
Very comfortable hotel in a convenient and quiet location that is reasonably priced for Midtown. Staff is very friendly. Continental breakfast is mediocre and in an awkward converted lounge space. I would stay there again but skip the breakfast option.
- 4/5
Everyone was very kind and helpful
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful and attentive. The location was very convenient for our stay as well.
- 5/5
The Pearl Hotel really exceeded my expectations. It is a boutique hotel and I identified it primarily for its location, as I had business nearby and it is near the theatre district and Times Square. However, the hotel was lovely - the room was very nicely appointed, it has a true restaurant and bar and the service was excellent. Some of the rooms actually have a sizeable balcony/patio. I would definitely recommend it and I would stay there again!
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff went the extra step to insure we were taken care of. Enjoyed the amenities like free breakfast and snacks. Location is excellent. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Amazing Hotel! Staff was great! Don’t drink the water in the room… it’s 8.00…there is water in the lower level for 1.00. Coffee anytime on the lobby floor! The room was clean and nicely decorated! We loved our stay!
- 4/5
All in all, we are glad to have stayed there!
- 5/5
Surprise room upgrade upon arrival! Great location close to broadway but the rooms were very quiet!

We had a great 6 night stay at The Pearl. All staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, and the breakfast was also a great way to start the day. Thanks so much, and we would definitely stay with you the next time we are in New York City!!
- 5/5
Love the location to broadway
- 5/5
Staff was cordial, helpful and welcoming. Despite the busy location, I was not disturbed by noise at night. My room was on the 2nd floor toward the back of the building.
- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
Everything about this hotel and staff was amazing

Yes
- 5/5
Excellent front desk service, and the room was lovely and spacious. The restaurant next door had a huge selection of wines.
- 4/5
Staff great but rooms are very dark!!0
- 4/5
Clean room and nice staff. A wee bit of noise during the day but it’s NYC - it settled nicely to quiet after midnight.
- 5/5
Nice, funny and friendly Staff. Free wine at 5:00 too was also nice.
- 4/5
Clean room, pillows were not to my spec as they were like stones, other than that all good!
- 5/5
Staff, rooms, location…my go to every time I am in the city! It is just an awesome place to stay!
- 5/5
Comfortable bed, nice staff, and close to everything
- 5/5
Truly, everything was perfect - the hotel staff is incredibly kind & accommodating , especially when our flight was cancelled & we had to stay an extra night! Keegan, in particular, went above & beyond to help us & was so friendly! The breakfast included was a plus, as well as the 24-hour beverage & snack bar & 5-6pm wine happy hour! The location is perfect for theatre goers & close to great dining, shopping & sight seeing! WE WILL BE BACK!
- 5/5
Awesome hotel and staff. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
This is the best Hotel in Times Square! Services was amazing! Room are clean!
- 2/5
Overrated with average service and room quality
- 5/5
Location,location , location!!!
- 5/5
The hotel room was clean and roomy. It was across the street from the theater we attended. The hotel was near many dining options and shopping. The staff was very friendly and accommodating!
- 5/5
Convenient location. Friendly staff
- 4/5
For the area (times square) it’s a decent hotel comparing to the alternatives
- 5/5
Room was reasonable size good bedding, great tv , and a good shower In the heart of theater district
- 4/5
Clean, welcoming hotel. Breakfast was an added treat.
- 4/5
The Pearl is located within easy walking distance to theaters, dining etc. The front desk staff are great! Check-in was very easy and we were upgraded. We really didn't have the full breakfast, my husband brought coffee and croissants and hard boiled eggs to our room, he said there were other options like pastries. Elevators are super fast, if you know NYC hotels you know that's a huge plus! Our room was very clean. L'Occitane amenities come in the form of dispensers which is fine, we bring our own toiletries and appreciate the extras. Water pressure wasn't the best but it was fine. Room was quiet which was much appreciated. Wine in the lobby was nice after walking all day. Overall a very nice stay, we would stay here again.
- 5/5
Not a newer property but blown away by the staff (the best I have visited in a while. The property upkeep was amazing! I cannot fully express the friendliness/proficiency and the desire to be of service, even including the breakfast attendant (continental) but just amazing! The check in/check out//the valet/ the doorman/room attendant, simply amazing
- 3/5
Staff seemed cold.
- 5/5
A surprising large room for NYC. Extremely convenient for theater -going. The staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
The staff was kind and attentive. One staff member arranged for me to get a car to get to the airport. I am also happy that I could store my luggage after checkout. This gave me the freedom to further explore NYC before my flight.
- 5/5
AMAZING staff. Very helpful. Entire hotel is spotless and the rooms are HUGE. It took quite a while to get hot water but then it was a great shower with plenty of hot water. I cant say enoigh about the cleanliness and location and staff. Highly recommend 10/10.
- 5/5
Yes to all
- 5/5
Very clean with very nice and helpful staff. The breakfast could be better. The area is the theater district so there's nothing that can be done about that but it is convenient to that part of the city.
- 3/5
Overall feeling is institutional. Hotel is basic for the price charged, lacks charm, not living up to its name.
- 5/5
Awesome - travelled with family and the stay was really pleasant.
- 5/5
..Quenn Anne maybe??
- 5/5
The property is nice, well maintained and clean with excellent staff. Breakfast, which was included in our package, is the same and could do with some improvement in terms of providing some variety. We had a couple of security issues with the hotel staff knocking on our door enquiring about complaints which we never made. The second time was much worse because it was at night, and a burly man opened our door after rapidly knocking at the door, not giving me enough time to reach the door. We've already brought this matter to the attention of the hotel staff.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Unbelievable service and amenities at the Pearl Hotel. We were well taken care of with 24/7 coffee/teas/snacks. Continental breakfast plus a happy hour! There is so much space in the lobby and 2nd floor to hand out or work. We felt at home and welcome to do anything. We will be back! Well worth every penny. Amazing location too.
- 5/5
Hospitality was very nice
- 5/5
Clean room. Staff knowledgeable, courteous and professional.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing, location is perfect
- 5/5
Upgraded to balcony which was lovely. Breakfast included which was very good. Convenient to theater and cruise terminal as well as Times Square with less noise.
- 3/5
Terrible bedding
- 5/5
I had a fantastic stay here. From the minute I arrived to the minute I left, the staff was friendly, helpful, and kind. I arrived a little early and was given early check-in and a room upgrade. The room was beautiful! Very clean, elegant, and comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to stay in the Times Square Area.
- 5/5
Lot of activity going on in the street and construction in the area. It was also UNGA week so lots of security traffic. Congestion (more then usual) to be expected I guess.
- 5/5
Great room!
- 5/5
Made my stay amazing
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and helpful, large room, clean
- 5/5
I would definitely stay again! It was very clean and convenient to everything!

Liked
- 5/5
We love The Pearl. Our family of five always struggles to find hotels that will comfortably fit all of us. The rooms here are spacious and actually built for larger groups
- 5/5
The Pearl is a small boutique hotel right in the heart of Midtown (Broadway, Times Square and Rockefeller). Walkable to everything. Staff is nice and helpful and the rooms clean. It is our Go-To.
- 5/5
Amazing facility! Rooms are beautiful and very nicely decorated. Location is superb. Will definitely go back again.
- 4/5
Courteous, friendly, helpful staff
- 4/5
Very nice staff and a clean room. The room was generously sized. My only complaint was it was impossible regulate the temperature. You can lower the temperature but then the system would kick off, the temperature would rise to an uncomfortable level and then the system would kick back on. Other than that it was a very nice day. The breakfast was a little less than I thought a four-star hotel in Manhattan should provide but it is what it is.
- 4/5
Great location, and a real plus that continental breakfast is included, although it’s nothing fancy.
- 4/5
Thisbwas my first time staying ar The Pearl. It's Location is right smack in the middle of the Theater district, next door to one of my favorite restaurants Lillies Victorian. The doormen were friendly, the front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, which is a nice change from the New York attitude you normally receive at other places. The room was a little dated and maybe the color scheme could use an upgrade, Burgundy and Gold makes anything look older than it should. The room was clean, the bed was too. I recommend staying here if you're looking for a decent stay without the obscene charges you see at other hotels
- 5/5
Empire steakhouse in the lobby. Convenient and delicious!
- 4/5
We were very happy with our stay. The location was excellent. The hotel staffs were friendly. The facility was clean. We would definitely go back again.
- 5/5
Our stay at The Pearl was short but wonderful. The amenities and convenient location made it easy to enjoy our time, but what truly stood out was the service. Vani was exceptional—warm, attentive, and such a pleasure to interact with. We’ll definitely be recommending The Pearl and look forward to returning soon.
- 5/5
The staff were friendly
- 1/5
When I checked in at the front desk, the staff informed me of a mandatory $30 facility fee. This charge was not included in the room price shown on the booking app, meaning the advertised rate is misleading. Such hidden fees reflect dishonest practices, as the hotel is simply trying to extract more money from guests. Be cautious and double-check before booking here
- 5/5
The staff was amazing!!
- 4/5
Excellent location near Time Square, walkable to many Midtown attractions and restaurants, rooms are surprisingly quiet even the hotel is in Broadway district, good deal for the price being paid
- 5/5
Very convenient location and clean.
- 5/5
Very convenient. Well air-conditioned and quiet. Real gem in the heart of the city.
- 5/5
The staff was extremely helpful. Rooms were well equipped and spacious.
- 5/5
Hotel was in a great location to a lot of things. Noise from outside was minimal in room. Breakfast was pastry type options and fruit.
- 5/5
Good place!
- 5/5
Nice place. Highly recommend
- 5/5
The location was perfect - within easy walking distance to all of the theaters we were going to. The room was very nice and spacious. The bathroom was updated and shower was great. The staff was so helpful and nice. This is definitely where we will be staying on trips in the future.
- 2/5
The hotel is very dated. Staff are friendly and helpful but the rest of the hotel is old. The free breakfast was disappointing and subpar.
- 4/5
Great stay. Location and service were great. Elevator out for weeks. One usage breakfast plates, bowls etc and utensils and coffees taste was bad. Like I said, overall people and room were nice.
- 5/5
Great location by Times Square. Staff friendly & helpful. Bed very comfortable. Hotel offered extras, including complimentary 24 hour coffee/tea bar, continental breakfast and wine hour.
- 5/5
Great facility and location.
- 5/5
Fun girls trip. Everyone was helpful and nice. We were able to leave our bags at the desk when we arrived, even though our room was not yet ready. And they kept our bags before we left town as well. It is one of the quietest hotels I've ever stayed in. Perhaps because we did not have a street view. Never heard a car honk or siren.
- 3/5
One pet peeve of ours is the "Resort Fee" of $30 per day. We didn't feel that there was any value added to our trip by this frivolous charge.
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
Small hotel, 8 rooms per floor. Clean, quiet, excellent customer service. Nothing bad to say about our stay there. We will be back for sure.
- 5/5
Good check in staff and clean
- 5/5
The pearl was an excellent place to stay in NYC. The room was clean and spacious and we loved its location in the heart of Broadway. Many attractions were within walking distance and there were several tube stations around, as well. The staff were great, too. Highly recommended!
- 5/5
Very helpful, attentive

Stayed one day, staff was super friendly and helpful!

Nothing but a positive experience. The room felt clean and everyone was so professional. We felt safe and the location was in walking distance to everything we wanted to see including Central Park, the theater, and Time Square

What a “hidden gem”! The customer service was wonderful from the Doormen to the breakfast service. Everyone was very helpful especially Keegan who helped answer questions upon our arrival!

The hotel was in a great location, staff was friendly and accommodating.

Excellent, as always!

Free wine everyday from 5-6pm. Perfect for those going to a show. Breakfast doesn't have much and the coffee is bad. Rooms were average. Good luck with the shower/bath faucet, it's unique.

This hotel could not be better. From location, cleanliness, comfort and staff, this is a hotel done right.
- 5/5
Location is fantastic and hotel is exactly as expected

The hotel is very well situated and most of the staff are very friendly. I had an issue with a sink tap in the room twice and the team were very professional and quick to respond. The room was big and although a bit dated, was clean and perfectly suitable for my stay.

Great experience. The staff upgraded our room at no cost. Very polite and friendly.

It is a great location. The building is older and needed updating in the lobby and elevators. The room was large and spacious for New York.

Good central location, very basic breakfast and tired rooms

Nice Hotel, Great Amenities, staff was accommodating. Great surrounding restaurants. Only down part outlets in the front of the room did not work properly. Only the nightstand outlets.

The front desk data are excellent ! Great customer service ,so welcoming and accommodating.

Location is great

If you want to be in the heart of times sq, and don't mind noisy and bright, this is a good option. If you like peaceful, more serene, quiet, etc. this is not it. Pluses - they have robes, coffee, bell men are attentive, rooms are spacious. On the downside, the rooms are a bit dated, dark carpets, basic plugs, breakfast was very basic. I did not like being charged $30 upon arrival because i booked Expedia. Was told for breakfast, wine time 5-7 and wifi. Still no bueno.

So amazing!

We had a great time at The Pearl. The hotel is comfortable and in a great location, particularly if you are enjoying Broadway Theater. We had a deluxe suite, which is a great way to enjoy the hotel. We also enjoyed the many little extras, like the coffee/tea station with snacks, the surprisingly good continental breakfast, daily housekeeping, and the gym. You’d want to pay a little less per night - but quality costs I suppose.

A gem of a hotel.

Added to this, the pillows smelled of body odour so wasn’t convinced that the pillow and /or pillow cases had been cleaned.

Staff was very friendly, spacious rooms and great location

Like I said, look no further!

Two main points: - The AC makes more noise than any other AC system in any other hotel on the planet. We would have happily turned it off and opened the windows but the AC noise was preferable to the 24-hour construction noise originating directly across the street. - The bed, itself, was a disaster. The quite-comfortable HIGH-PROFILE mattress was topped with a thin LOW-PROFILE mattress pad and a thin UNFITTED bottom sheet, both of which untucked the instant a human body lay on the bed. For the rest of the night we'd be trying to sleep while laying on bunched-up sheets. On our third night, we resorted to stripping the bed and sleeping directly on the mattress, then refused room service to hide our crime before our final night there. There is no way - none - that the latter complaint is unknown to housekeeping and, we assume, by management. This one-star review is for a management that cares more about cost savings than about guest comfort.

Everything was terrific. Only issue was the construction noise across the street, which the hotel can do nothing about.

Excellent choice for hotel stay. Professional and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
The room was very comfortable (beds great) and the bathroom was large enough for 2 to get read. The continental breakfast was very good with yogurt, oatmeal, fruit fresh bagels and pastries. They have great coffee too.

Neat hotel, comfortable, spacious room.

The Pearl was excellent from start to finish! The front desk personnel all were helpful and welcoming. As a visitor from rural Kentucky I had several questions of where and how. Each question was answered and assistance given graciously. I’d encourage all theatre lovers to stay right there.

The location of The Pearl is super convenient. All of the staff at The Pearl were incredibly friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Broadway.
- 4/5
The location is perfect for enjoying the ties square area. Quiet!! Which is a huge plus. “Breakfast” was disappointing. But they hosted a wine “time” daily. The service, the people were outstanding!! Friendly, remembered and welcomed us each day whether coming or going. And felt very safe. Definitely would stay there again

My second time here in 7 months. This place is so comfy and, street noise aside, quiet. Thank you for the soundproofed rooms! Love the TV in the bathroom too (can watch the news while getting ready for the day) and the microwave & fridge. Wine reception is a nice touch and the staff is really friendly and helpful. I swapped hotels to go to a conference after two days and am regretting it! I’m hearing all the rooms around me and my fridge is broken! Will stay here again next time I’m in NYC.

I love staying at The Pearl when I come to see a Broadway show. The rooms are comfortable and surprisingly spacious, the location is ideal, love the bar and the free cocktail hour wine, and the hotel is fairly quiet. My only complaint on this visit was a lack of hot water in the sink, but am assuming this is a fluke. Oh, really appreciated the free upgrade too. Will come back for sure.

Perfect location !

Within walking distance of many attractions.

Good location if you want to catch a show. Center of the tourist area.

One of the lift was broken, we waited it for a long time. It was annoying.

Great location
- 5/5
Staff extremely courteous and the room was clean and very comfortable.
- 4/5
The Pearl did not have any air conditioning and heating. Fortunately we were upgraded to a room with a balcony and removed the hotel fee. Since the temps were in th le 60s so neither hot nor cold, it worked out in the end

This was our 2nd time staying at the Pearl New York. It's so close to all the attractions you don't even need to get a taxi. we will always stay at the Pear New York when we visit.
- 5/5
Excellent staff. Very helpful. Excellent location in the theater district. We walked everywhere or took the subway. Continental breakfast very nice. Only one elevator worked during our visit. This was very inconvenient. I understand that the hotel was waiting for a part to arrive.

Only suggestion ... need bigger television in big room. Couldn't believe a 24-30 inch flat screen was it . There is a small tv in restroom which is nice but would rather have a bigger tv in main room! The seating in breakfast area could benefit form longer hours than 7-10 maybe 10:30 or 10:45?
