Heated pool was a nice surprise - great water pressure in the shower!

Room was filthy has not been cleaned for days. Stains and mold on ceiling has a bad stench. Needs to be closed down for the safety of customers

Old rooms and smells old and stinks.

What was good was the location
- 4/5
Located next to an In N Out. Booked the night to stay in town and rest. Next morning the front desk was full and the team was handling an irate customer. Not sure if she was for real but her comments made me skip the coffee and juice. Literally tossed it out at the gas station. These room are clean and spacious. I would stay here again especially because of In N Out. Keep food out of room for best results. 👍

The t.v sucks it kept g oing un and out of brightness and it sounded like people up stairs were gonna fall straight through the ceiling
- 1/5
Not a nice place to stay at all
- 1/5
Great location, terrible upkeep. Rooms are filthy and invested with mildew/mold. There were Bugs and black floors. Had to buy my own towels because of other people’s hair embedded in the towels. Would not allow my daughter to walk on the floors barefoot.

clean and quiet Good location

Employee was super helpful in getting our TV channels set up. The complementary breakfast was nice. Pool area was good. Floors were so dirty and made our socks and feet black.

Hotel. Is pretty rundownThe rooms are run down as well drug people hanging on the side of the building
- 4/5
There is built-in AC but it's totally useless The rest was good.
- 3/5
Great location, but the room had a bad odor. The rooms are old and the continental breakfast could be better
- 1/5
The room is totally trash. If you do not want to mess up your journey, do not book this room.

The room was okay clean but the a/c didn't work. Stains on the bedding and bathrooms and the beds were as hard as a rock. I wasn't expecting a lot but I was expecting a clean bathroom bedding not stain or for it have holes and the a/c to work. I understand that it cost money for beds and whatnot but it was like sleeping on a floor with really uncomfortable pillows. Motel 6 is better than this. Please upgrade ur beds or at least clean the a/c system so they work. The pool was the only nice thing. The hot tub wasn't that hot but it was warm. They do have a in and out right next to them but for over $100 a night I would expect a bit better not much.

Vagabond is your older beach city vacation hotel. The room size, bath and sink, TV and fridge are good. The continental breakfast is limited - 3 cereal, 3 bakery, and 3 juice options, coffee, no butter or jam for the croissants. The toilet paper and kleenex are cheap and shred easily, so you have to double it up. The AC is good but you don't have temperature control - there is however a fan switch on the wall that looks like a light switch (but labelled if you get close enough). The floor gets swept but needs to be mopped - it dirtied my socks. They offered immediately to switch my room when I saw some bugs. And there was a faint odor of smoke in the toilet/tub area - someone may have hoped the exhaust fan would take care of it and retreated there for a cigarette. It didn't bother me too much, but a fresh paint job might fix it. Considering the price, the value was ok - I hope management will take this as constructive feedback.

Deep clean on the room and ac vents
- 1/5
Horribly rundown motel that has needed renovation for decades! Vinyl flooring lifting and missing pieces. Vanity sink had rust all around it. Sink and tub needed new caulking. Smelled like cigarette smoke. Bed was super hard and pillows old and lumpy! No extra blanket, ironing board, iron or hairdryer! Felt like we were in the projects! Breakfast was all carbs (cheap pastries, cereal whole apples & oranges) with no protein items, not even real creamer but powdered junk for coffee. The only positive was it is located around services and In-n-Out Burger was accross the parking lot. Large families were literally cooking in their rooms with camp stoves with their doors open right in their doorways (appeared to be homeless). Not a safe feeling establishment!
- 5/5
Great Location for my events. Staff very friendly and helpful! Enjoyed the room and amenities. Quiet also.
- 4/5
Great location to many restaurants and shops
- 1/5
Smells like fart, floor is dirty, if someone taking shower or flushing the toilet on the other rooms you can hear as if you in the same room
- 3.5/5
Looked like some homeless people were hanging out in the parking lot.
- 3.5/5
It was a good enough room for 1 night while attending a concert close by. Looked like some homeless people were hanging out in the parking lot.

- no bed bugs - great water pressure + hot water! - AC worked well if you like it cold Cons: - super dirty - roach was found in the bathroom - friends room had mold - bed was literally a box spring - limited breakfast options - no blow dryer
- 1/5
My room was filled with spiders, the bathroom door doesn't close at all felt disgusted i checked out after an hour
- 1/5
The room was supposed to be a non smoking room. It reeked, with a newborn baby and a 2 year old they tried to spray the room with downy to remove the odor and we said that was unacceptable. What kind of response is that? We asked for a room change and they didnt have one, so we asked for our deposit and refund and they didnt give us back our money. That placed should be visited by the city because the sanitation in that environment is not acceptable.
- 0.5/5
The bed was comfy. The place was disgusting, unorganized, and too expensive for what it was. They obviously did not clean the floor (white wash cloth was used to wipe water and came up black), the thermostate/AC was outdated, the sink was crusty, and the desk was wobbly The icing on the cake is that the room reels of mold, and I mean the kind that can kill people. To top it off, I heard the managers arguing with a couple of guests because their room had bugs, and they wanted a refund, which was not offered nor received. Poor management, cleanliness, and care for guests. I'll never stay here again.

All wood floors, no carpet. Floors were dirty and cracking, which had sharp edges when it was lifting up. Tissue box wasn’t even replaced and was in a ball in the box. Trash bags were on a rack in front of our room and the next morning a truck parked next to us with all the trash loaded on the back. The people above us had like 10 people in the room and stomped on the floors all night. Overall experience was regret. I couldn’t wait to get out of there. Guy at the front desk was nice though!
- 4/5
Breakfast was sufficient though minimal. The only issue is there is no sitting area for breakfast.
- 3/5
Cheap and conveniently located with in &out in parking lot. Pretty sure I didn’t get deposit back while solo and kept room clearered. Base boards filthy. Walls filthy. Will stop there. Checked out early came back cause work called me back. Still charge deposit and early check in, she asked for my previous room number and got same room with our room being made up or towels. Cool in a pinch. Don’t ever bring your family or a girlfriend here going to Disney land. One last thought is it was chilly and the heater didn’t work. Receptionists played ignorant and said flip the switch.

Hot tub was great, very clean very peaceful and so was the pool staff was amazing not to mention the in and out burger in the parking lot lol i had a good time
- 3/5
Average room, nice pool, could definitely use upgrades in the bathroom, shower. Staff is friendly, and lots of parking, convient to restaurants.
- 5/5
It was great nice to have an inout just in front of the hotel pool was nice and clean
- 4/5
The best thing was that In-N-Out Burger was nearby. The gas stations convenience stores are not very good.
- 1/5
Room got flooded place was nasty. Staff was rude and unhelpful and unwelcoming. Would like a refund
- 3/5
Not bad
- 3/5
The staff was friendly, but I wouldn’t recommend this location for a young family or a group of girls. The area surrounding the hotel is fairly decent, with a lot of restaurants nearby, and it shares a parking lot with In-N-Out. However, there were definitely some interesting people staying there who made our stay a little uncomfortable. We chose this hotel because we wanted a cheap place to stay for a week-long beach trip, and I can say we got what we paid for.
- 3/5
Unfortunately this trip was just not going my way. I really wanted to take a hot tub which is a big reason I choose this Vagabond and it was cold. Total bummer!!! At 6AM the fire alarm went off in the room next door and was on for20 minutes. It was the 1 day I had planned to sleep in until 8AM. Got my day started early that day. the TV channel I wanted to watch had no sound? I don't know why. Usually this is a solid stay for cheap with this huge old Gunite hot tub with amazing jets. The staff is good, and things go smooth. My stay was okay, but not what I am use to at this site.
- 4/5
Everything was clean and they were polite
- 5/5
Fun time lots of places to eat specially in n out and Dennys
- 5/5
There’s was. Smell through out the room.
- 1/5
Worst place I’ve ever stayed.
- 1/5
We requested a refund and they refused. We will never stay here again. Also expedia refused to help, even though we book hotels every week for work, to the tune of 30k per year. Great job losing our business expedia. And we're in costa mesa 4x a year for work so for job loading our business vagabond Inn
- 3/5
The staff was very friendly. The place was very unclean.
- 3/5
The room was kinda dirty not enough towels
- 1/5
This place is disgusting. All the walls were rotted floors were dirty. Nothing was clean. I found a dead bug on the beds. The sheets were disgusting. The AC barely worked it smelt terrible I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Raja the front desk manager was excellent! Room was very clean, free coffee was good and the hot tub and pool are fantastic.
- 1/5
Our feet and socks turned black from dirt When asked to clean the front desk didnt even apologize. House keeping didn't come over once. Had to go to the front desk every time we wanted a towel change and fresh toilet paper. Also had to remove trash ourselves.
- 5/5
Friendly front office staff, beautiful grounds, clean rooms, good parking.
- 5/5
Staff was courteous and room was fine. Thank you for making this a pleasant resting place
- 5/5
The staff is great. The owner is friendly
- 2/5
The manager was hard headed, not friendly at all, and treated his employees rudely and poorly in front of guests. Raja, the man who checked us in was polite and helpful to the best of his ability. After staying at over three hundred hotels and motels in my sixty seven years, I can say no to this one.

Genuinely clean and comfortable ,Vagabond employees professional and courteous ,clean rooms for overnight and safe >
- 1/5
This was the most disgusting place I’ve ever been to. The floors seem like they’ve never been mopped, mold everywhere, uncomfortable beds. Too expensive for a room that doesn’t even get cleaned between uses.
- 4/5
Clean room. Good location. No problems.
- 5/5
Comfortable room, great welcoming staff at checkin and checkout. Convenient location off the 405 and near many restaurants including In N Out. Will be back in the future!

Christmas satisfaction I was killed with kindness yet no last words were given on my behalf besides this.. I arrived late at night my microwave door was sealed shut and would not even turn on. e shower plumbing was atrociously loud and forgiving and on the front office they told me the owner does not like dogs I have my serious animal for my epilepsy. The night worker said this is the reason why they would not give me a new room after pleading with the night clerk and stating that there are three rooms open directing extra money it still cannot switch me rims for more comfortable accommodations... Then on top of that there is no temperature control to the room only a miserable fan that was loud as well..... Lastly it being a very cool night for me and my service animal who is my family he would not bring me a space heater after notifying the front desk as well about there being no heat in the room. My leg is in sore mission and it is a challenge to walk especially with luggage and they had no luggage carts. So with all being said I had done customer service and they would not refund me only offer me 15% off my future stay. This is appalling to myself and anybody else with medical conditions.
- 5/5
Was in a different room this time on busy roadside across from funeral home will ask for different area next time road noise was excessive couldn't hear tv and it was turned up alot other issue was low shower pressure in bathroom and only 1 working ice machine working on property

- 3/5
It's okay...
- 1/5
Not the best
- 1/5
One star
- 3/5
I would like to say the location is convenient foe anyone traveling to the beach areas. Much to choose for fast food or dining areas. However, the cleanliness of the rooms could use better practices and preparation. The staff was willing to relocate me to a room I saw dit for my family's stay. From inspecting a few rooms, I noticed that renovation or even some paint in some areas of the rooms would be great. Up to date additions in the rooms are needed such as fixtures for lighting and sockets. Pool area was decent and had many tables and lounging chairs. Clean. Some suspicious people were walking in the area but no apparent threat to my observation. The continental breakfast was decent as well and plenty for having seconds. Good cereal, pastries, juices, and hot coffee. Overall theres much to be desired from this stay, however it wasn't a nightmare. From someone who's stayed in many cities, this was a solid 2.4 out of 5 stars.
- 2/5
Stain on the sheets, no heat, had to switch rooms twice. Please refund 10%
- 1/5
Bath tub was unclean and leaking. Floor and walls were dirty. We got bit by many bed bugs.
- 1/5
It smelled really moldy and I feel like I got sick because of the stinky moldy smell. I would request a refund and request the city to inspect it because it’s not healthy breathing mold
- 1/5
Someone hacked my Expedia account and used my credit to book a one-night stay at this place. I contacted Expedia immediately to report the fraudulent charge, but they claimed they reached out to the property and couldn’t do anything to refund or reverse it, even though I reported it right away! This is completely unacceptable. Both Expedia and the hotel handled this situation terribly and showed no accountability. It’s disappointing to see them allow and enable this kind of behavior instead of doing the right thing.
- 5/5
This hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, the rates are low, the hot tub and pool are great, there is always coffee available in the lobby, in and out is in the same parking lot so it seems to be pretty safe and the shower water pressure is unbelievably good. The manager, Kelly is fantastic! This location is extremely convenient next to the 405 freeway in 10 minutes from the beach. Incredible amount of restaurants, markets, and stores in the area. There are no major luxuries at this hotel, but it is a great value, clean room, and all you need for an affordable night or two in OC!
- 5/5
Great customer service, we truly enjoyed our stay!
- 1/5
The room was run down and dirty. The toilet seat had chips on it and floors had dirt all over.
- 3/5
Nice staff. Old rooms and kind of sketchy area at night.
- 5/5
Not impressed. Scary! Filthy! Beds Awful! Bugs!
- 5/5
All great.
- 2/5
The room 162 absolutely stank of SMOKE ! . The bed sheets felt dirty bit everything else of - Dos not take my clothes out of the suitcase as I feared they would smell .
- 3/5
Good location with many amenities nearby. Parking is free and available. Staff was helpful. Room smelled musty. The drapes were dirty. Breakfast was ok could have been better. The front desk person should at least smile when talking. You are in service business.
- 5/5
Great location, great television and vlean room.
- 1/5
No worth
- 4/5
The air blower in the bathroom was making a lot of noise so I did not turn it on
- 1/5
When we first arived the initial room we were given the door would not open after a few attemots with different cards. We were given a second room and smelt like cigarette smoke and mold. What looked to be blood splatter on the front door and floor. People living in their vehicle in the parking lot doing drugs and flying kites. Definitely did not feel like a safe environment for myself let alone anyone at all. Bathroom had rust and mold all over and the bedding was stained as well as the ironing board. Once the manager checked the room we had he fluffed the pillows to make it look like no one had ever been in there. I was given a refund but charged a $10 cleaning fee.
- 2/5
Price dictates what you get.
- 1/5
Yes, thank you I requested downstairs as I am suffering with physical injuries, Expedia took my money. I went to go check in. They didn’t have a downstairs unit. I would’ve had to walk upstairs so I canceled no sadly I see Expedia will not give me my money back. I will not be using Expedia again very nice man at the counter he looked couldn’t find me a unit downstairs
- 1/5
Neighbor. Thought we would save some money and try it out, now just regret it.
- 3/5
really bad smell of the room even we used air freshener still the same.
- 2/5
Staff was very friendly. The room was a non smoking room but reeked of cigarette, there were burn marks on the comforter. The fridge smelled weird and the toilet had to be flushed 3x to get everything down. It was good enough to avoid driving home drunk as me and my husband attended a concert nearby. Uber was cheap from the hotel to the venue and back.
- 1/5
Terrible place. Camper trucks with people living in the parking lot. Filthy breakfast area with no coffee and incompetent staff. Stay away.
- 3/5
Not good nor bad
- 3/5
Body wash and shampoo only enough for one person, the room too dark and too small
- 3/5
Rooms are not mopped
- 3/5
Super run down, rusty furniture, door that does not seal, can see light around it. Mattress is old and worn out
- 3/5
Floors and bathroom very dirty👎
- 3/5
Cockroaches in the bathroom
- 3/5
shower was not super clean. you can tell they tried but really needs a refurbish
- 2/5
Floors were filthy. Not swept nor mopped. Socks were black after walking around in the room for a few minutes. Shower head was cracked so showering with water just trickling out or putting shower on all the way and flooding the floor. Bath tub looked as though they never scrubbed since installation. Coins were on the floor in the bathroom so you know floor wasnt clean after prior guest. Its a non smoking room but smells like cigarettes were smoked in there. The hotel did try to fix by showing us different rooms but one room smelled like marijuana, one room's bed was sagging in the center. Location was good. A lot of places to eat. I would not recommend this place.
- 1/5
The walls had knife holes in them. The curtains were torn and looked like they had also been damaged by a knife. There was damage to the front door that looked like someone attempted to repair. I do not recommend staying here!!!
- 5/5
Excellent !!
- 1/5
to start the property was dirty and had shoe prints in the bathtub. when checked in and settled a man came into do construction with no notice. the hot tub did not get warm or have jet covers. the staff was unhelpful and lacked the knowledge to assist. no management on site ever. The cereal was stale and the food was rotten that they did supply.
- 5/5
Location and quietness and excellent pool and spa and different places to eat drink and visit close to 405
- 5/5
Nice pool area great location
- 3/5
The toilet was cracked on the top. The staff was friendly. Good location. Best priced with 2 beds and the location with Continental breakfast
- 1/5
I will never stay here again, so gross. The mold in this place is not worth it at ANY price.
- 3/5
The property is old was fine for one night
- 4/5
USA newspaper BUT. no plug for basin and no instructions for tv
- 2/5
The staff was amazing. The rooms not so much. AC was horrible, the room was 100% smoked in regularly. The walls were dirty. The ceiling was dirty. Old curtains and bedspread. I do not recommend.
- 5/5
👍
- 1/5
The ceiling tiles were broken and super dirty bathroom. We travel a lot and this hotel was a total 0. Outside the room were abonded cars and junk all over the ground. It was $137 for a saturday night and shouldnt be this awful.
- 1/5
My partner and I came to stay here after celebrating my birthday. When we arrived, as we were getting out of the car some car came speeding in and pulled into a spot almost hitting other cars. A guy and a woman came out and he was screaming at the woman. After we checked in we came back outside and the guy began yelling at my partner and I and the woman he was with. He was incredibly verbally violent and was saying he wanted to beat my partner up and how he bears women. He then started saying no homophobic remarks and We did not feel comfortable to stay so we checked out and thankfully got a refund.
- 4/5
Price was cheap
- 1/5
Not clean at all, doors, walls, bathroom, hanger rack all nasty. Fridge nasty didn’t work nor did the phone in the room work the pillows felt like they put cottonballs in them, and the room smelled like a thrift store and we couldn’t sleep with some lady outside screaming. I wouldn’t recommend the Vagabond hotel in Costa Mesa to anyone
- 4/5
Nice, comfortable bed. Quiet area (my room was on the back side of the hotel, along Gisler Ave). Friendly, efficient staff. Two suggestions for improvement: provide more nutritious breakfast foods, and renovate my room. Facilities, bedding, and towels were clean, but the room should be updated soon.
- 5/5
Nice little motel. The staff was great. The pool was nice and clean. Many food and drink options close by. Would definitely recommend and we plan on coming back.
- 4/5
Accommodations actually exceeded my expectations. Except for the TV not working everything else was acceptable. The front desk was told about the TV but nothing was done
- 4/5
That's always MONUMENTAL! We booked two days and decided to stay two more without checking out of the room --- and mind you, the first two days --- we chose NOT to have housekeeping enter our room. We exchanged towels and cleaned the room ourselves. The final two days, we booked with Expedia again and we had to pay another deposit for the final two days! Makes no sense, so now I have to monitor my account to make sure my two day deposit money gets put back! Yes, I've had to call 2 hotels during my travels when it wasn't put back! But on the second deposit, the amount was $60 and the front desk guy said, the extra $10 was because we didn't change rooms. Okay, next time I know --- if/should we do come back here! Well check out for five hours and get (supposedly) a totally clean room!
- 5/5
good
- 3/5
Rooms are very outdated, but clean. AC is an on/off switch only, you don’t get to control the temperature! Bed mattress is pretty thin and uncomfortable Their definition of breakfast meant not so fresh Costco croissants and some cup cakes. At least they had coffee! At night they close all entrances but one that is shared with in n out burger! Yes you will be standing in the famous in n out line to be able to enter the hotel. During the day they open other gates which makes it easier.
- 1/5
The room has a humidity smell. We found a bug everyday we stay there..first noght was a big spider on the celing by the bed. Then a roach the next day and then a moth and a roach the next day. Front desk is not friendly at all. I wont ever stay there ever.
- 3/5
Relaxed atmosphere, nice pool area, and welcoming staff.
- 4/5
Convenient location and friendly atmosphere.
- 2/5
Upon arrival the lobby was welcoming and staff was attentive. This issue was entering the room. Walking in the mini fridge was left defrosting with towels on the floor and in the fridge. Restroom and vanity and smelled humid. Ceiling in these areas had water stains and some mold.. In the restroom there was spots of black mold all over the walls. Poor ventilation in the restroom kept smells and humidity in the restrooms.
- 4/5
The room was clean and the staff were nice. Loved that the rooms had hard floors instead of carpet. It was an older property and had that older hotel smell, and it’s been a while since the rooms had been painted from the wear and tear. They are doing some sort of renovation with some beds and furniture out in the parking area. Great location with walking distance to both food or grocery. Felt like they were doing their best with an older property, and for the budget conscious it is convenient and a good value.

Moldy ceiling horrible smell checked out right away couldn’t spend the night, horrible conditions, didn’t even offer a refund despite how bad the smell and the mold was.

It’s suitable to sleep in

It has a great pool and Jacuzzi! Also provided pastries for breakfast.

Everyone was nice

It was ok for price paid, breakfast was just honey bun juice and coffee some scrambled eggs, and sausage patty . Nothing exceptional. Room was clean but dated. Location ok a bit of noise from the 405

Kind and helpful staff members and management. Clean pool, avarage rooms, and convenient location in general.
- 5/5
Very affordable pricing and breakfast included just a great stay. We used it for a project and really appreciate it.

Check in was smooth and the host was pleasant. It has a great location. Coffee (complimentary) is available at all or most hours and the breakfast of fresh baked goods is decent. The grounds are well maintained and very pleasant. A nice, comfortable stay.

terrible.

Bad: The room was smelly and there were a few spiders in the restroom and room as well!
- 3/5
Convenient right off the freeway, but that was about it. Rooms were poor, beds hard, towels thin, bathroom grimey, bedspread had burn holes, floorboards buckling. Our first room smelled like vomit, so we requested another room. At least the second room smelled like mid-eastern cooked vegetables.

I gave this property a very high rating and itnis because for the price you pay this is as good as it gets. The rooms are certainly older so they have their wear, but the pool and hot tub are very nice and the property while maybe not updated is well kept, the service is nice, and they have coffee, cereal, snd assorrwd breads in the office in the morning. It is also right next to tbe freeway and not too far from Newport Beach.

When we arrived, we were given a key to Room 1. Upon opening the door, we were immediately hit with a strong musty/moldy smell. The furniture and walls looked dirty and neglected, and the bathroom had visible black mold around the baseboards, along with signs of water damage that still appeared wet. We didn’t feel it was a safe or healthy environment for our kids. We went back to the front desk and spoke with Aaron, who was kind and understanding. He offered us another room to try. Unfortunately, the second room smelled strongly of cigarettes and marijuana, despite clearly being marked non-smoking. It was hot inside with no thermostat — it looked like it had been removed and never replaced. This room also had mold in the corner of the bathroom ceiling, and even worse, we found what appeared to be blood stains on the walls both inside and outside the room. We immediately returned to the front desk and asked for a refund, only to be told that no manager is on site Friday through Sunday, which seemed odd given those are peak days for hotel stays. We left the property and booked a different hotel. After multiple follow-ups with Hotels.com, we were told the manager finally responded — and refused to issue a refund, even though we never stayed the night and returned the key right away. This hotel is misrepresented online.

I read the reviews and I almost canceled. Once I checked in I had no problems.

The pictures doesn’t match the room at all, and the staff weren’t friendly or had any customer service skills.

Ac did not work and it was hot. From the sound of it they say sorry but they do not fix the ac they just rent it out the next day, i asked a dozen times and they would keep saying they are working on it, the maintenance came in and said they cannot fix and they just left never returning. The rooms smell bad and its musty and hot. They first offered a discount but after talking with them for a while and letting them know i came from az to get out of the heat and having to sleep 2 days in the hot room was very uncomfortable the guy gave me the managers name to have hotels.com give them a call so they can give a better discount and he wrote me a note saying they approve the discount so we will see how that goes. He said they never have this problem but i asked all the ppl staying around us but they said they had to go out and buy fans because it was so hot in the rooms and it felt better outside then it did inside.

Air did not work was told over and over and over they were fixing. Went whole weekend in a stuffy hot room. Didn't offer to move rooms no one ever came to our room to check it. Upon check out they world not print me a new receipt with new total to show me discount. Which I need to get discount since I booked through 3rd party. Unwilling to help. My family and I will not stay here again.

The room has a terrible humidity odor, and the walls are dirty.
- 1/5
I would not recommend it. It was an environment where people lived at the hotels. Kinda scary.
- 2/5
Slow checking, poor service, noisy, police were arresting some drug addicts, construction on adjacent rooms! They should shut this hotel and give it a remodel from top to bottom! Then get new management!

Dirty, disgusting, had to leave early and find a different place to stay because of how bad it was. he only gave us a partial refund

Don’t stay here. The place is a dump. Floors were dirty when I checked in. Staff is rude. Housekeepers are very nice though.
- 3/5
I would not recommend staying here. The room was in poor condition upon arrival. There was visible mold on the air vent, dirty baseboards, and what appeared to be a used towel left hanging in the shower from a previous guest. The bathtub was grimy with debris, and the door had stains and marks all over it. This level of cleanliness is unacceptable and honestly concerning for health reasons. I expected a basic, clean stay, but this felt neglected and unsanitary. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses these issues for future guests.

It was dirty and loud. Never going back. Perfect for a cheap night out.
- 3/5
Although the price was decent, the room was extremely dirty. The walls and floor had not been cleaned. A regular maintenance was apparent, but nothing more. The room we stayed in was extremely smoke filled. We asked for a new room, only to be placed in a room without a working AC unit.
- 3/5
There is no air conditioning thermostat to control temperature so the room was stuffy and hot at times. When I asked it the temperature could be turned down it was suggested I open my window. There is no channel guide for the TV and when I went to change channels I had to press down really hard. I had no idea there was a free breakfast until I walked into the lobby the morning I was leaving. The construction going on limited the amount of parking spaces. The staff was somewhat friendly but not always available. So it was overall just "meh"

Nice pool & jacuzzi. Excellent location

Attempts to speak with a manager went nowhere. I was told the manager wouldn’t be in until 3pm, then was unavailable, and I never received the promised call back. The place is very old—at least 45 years—and it seems like they have an ongoing pest problem they’re not willing to invest in fixing. That’s a scary thought when you’re trying to sleep. Avoid this place unless you’re okay with bugs, poor customer service, and outdated facilities.

The room was disgusting. We asked them to come clean the floors and she did a quick sweep and used a towel to wipe the floor. The floor was still black. We had to wear shoes the entire time. There was mold in the shower. There were stains on all of our towels. We asked for new towels and those had stains too. House keeper came the next day to clean while we were gone and nothing was cleaned, they made one out of the two beds and put new towels in the room and nothing else. The floor was still disgusting. The continental breakfast was some store bought mini donuts, cereal and juice.

I want a refund there was semen on the top bed sheet we left five minutes after we checked in

No rooms had thermostats. Centrally controlled and freezing. No vent cover. Could not sleep. Front desk no help and of course no refund.
- 1/5
Horrible and dirty, we had to cancelled out reservation cause it was not even a place you can sleep and rest in at all .
- 4/5
The receptionists were courteous & attended to all of our needs. The room was average.. needs to be cleaned & a new paint job is sorely needed. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Vagabond Inn.. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you for accommodating us!

Uncomfortable beds, no remote for tv.

The first room we were given smelled incredibly moldy, there was drywall dust on the floor and the bathroom was disgusting. Baseboards were peeling off the walls. So they gave us second room. The second room smelled better, but the air conditioning was on in this room, which is probably what made it smell better. You could see water damage along the baseboards. We ended up getting a refund and went somewhere else. I’ve never seen a more atrocious place.

We tried 2 other rooms and they are all the same. Our group of 6 rooms all checked it and got refunds immediately and we went elsewhere. Do not stay here!!

It was very dirty, Paul couldn’t even be swam in and they were giving vouchers to homeless people. NOT worth the money.
- 3/5
I stayed in this property since it looks nice from outside. However, rooms look outdated, and property needs some renovation.
- 4/5
Property grounds were beautiful and well kept. The rooms were nice, the bathroom was clean but it could use a revamp. Stayed here because it was close to The Observatory (went for a concert) and for the price I paid, I would 100% stay here again.

Discussing nasty property. They need to upgrade and clean a lot. The air is freezing and the sheets were nasty. Won’t be back ever and do not recommend to anyone
- 4/5
The place is perfect if you just need a place to sleep. Beware there’s no AC.
- 5/5
Great time, great place

Great rooms and super clean. Extremely satisfied

Old property. Room smelled bad, sheets had holes from cigarettes it looked like, hair on the pillows and sheets. Dirty overall
- 3/5
t included, but it did not. The site also said restaurant was on site. There was none. Also i booked this site due to having a pool and hottub. Went to use the hottub, but it was totally cold. The wife complained that the room smelled and that the TV was way to small. Was not happy.
- 2/5
The trip overall was okay but the hotel had roaches it had a shower faucet that just didn’t turn off so in the morning the whole floor was wet. There was people yelling in the rooms, like if they were doing surgery or something in there
- 1/5
People smoking weed, being noisy, drinking outside the room with loud music.
