    The curb appeal and enter ace made us want to turn around and walk away. It was not like any other Holiday Inn Express we’ve stayed at. We felt like we were in an unsafe area and did not even want to check in. The staff explained the building was being renovated so we stayed. Our room was completely renovated and clean.

    I enjoyed the breakfast and pool amenities. The hotel was also close to Niagara Falls State Park. I did not like that my credit was charged before I arrived on the property. I selected that I would pay when I arrive. Secondly, I did not like being charged for parking. Lastly, not having access to online streaming platforms such as Netflix, Hulu, or Youtube. The facility should add smart television to the renovation process.

    Breakfast was great. I'm vegetarian but had more than enough choices. Only disappointment was the $10 parking charge. No mention of this when I made reservation. Was told about the charge at check-in. Glad I only stayed one night. The daily charge could have added up if my stay was longer. I could understand the charge if it was covered or underground parking.

    The fire alarm went off 5 times during the night. None of us got any sleep. Construction on the room above our room was extremely loud all day. Also, the pool was closed. It would have been nice to know that before we booked. This was one of the worst experiences we have had in a hotel. I will say the Staff were great. That would be the only positive.

    Perfect family and pet friendly hotel for a trip to Niagara Falls. Convenient location and great restaurants and shopping nearby. Sam at the front desk was awesome and extremely kind/helpful! The room was a bit out of date. The chairs in the room and tables were stained. Overall OK condition. They are remodeling so that will help. Would stay here again.

    There is a $50 dog fee per pet per night! Plus a $10 parking fee for a parking lot full of pot holes! So our stay cost was doubled for our 2 night stay because of extra fees. The pool is not available because of renovations, but no mention of it until we got there. Hotel staff decided to explain how franchises work so to make a reasoning for the excessive add on fees. I assume they need $ to clean up the mess. We have travel ALOT and have stayed in many Holiday Inn Express, generally they are a favorite. But this one is the worst hotel I have stayed in in a long time! Take pride in your business and do better!

    Hotel is under going renovations, pool is closed, had to pay 10$ a night to park there. Room was pretty clean, but well used.     First room we checked into was filthy; shower floor was covered in muck. Luckily they were able to move us to a different room and upgrade us, which I felt more comfortable staying in. Still, the shower seemed to have mold and rain was leaking in from the window. Wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.

    The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, Price was affordable and the breakfast was good. I will say the hotel needs some upgrading and remodeling. We had to purchase an HDMI cable and hook it to my laptop to stream TV as it does not offer internet to stream and it only had basic channels.

    The room wasn't setup for 5 people. There were no blankets for the pull out couch and only 3 sets of towels. We didn't ask for these things since it was just a quick stop. I think they would have provided whatever we had asked for. I just wish we hadn't had to ask.

    There was a dead bug in our bathroom. Wasn’t as sparkling clean as usual. During breakfast the guard person made us uncomfortable watching us and looking at our plate as if to see if we took too much food. Never experienced this before.     We stayed here for 2 nights. The location is quite a ways from the falls and downtown , in an area that’s seen better days. Check in was fine and the front desk staff was friendly. The room turned out to be a jacuzzi king? Didn’t recall asking for that. No chair to sit on- just the edge of the jacuzzi. Bathtub was missing the drain plug. Toilet seems like it was made for toddlers. The shortest one I’ve ever seen. The refrigerator was noisy and ended up freezing our drinks. I should have checked the setting- hard to see. Carpet in the room was thread bare under the desk. The TV was difficult to figure out. The onscreen program menu was useless. Channels did not match what the guide said. MSNBC was actually NewsNation. Overnight, upstairs noise seemed excessive. Breakfast was fine with several options. Coffee was hot! Check it was smooth. Not the worst place I’ve ever stayed, but certainly the bottom of the list of all Holiday Inn Express and Suites I’ve ever been in.

    When we arrived to the Hotel the lot was filled with pot holes, I didnt see any outside cameras for my safty, Also we was charged $10.00 a day for park. I have stayed in a few of your hotels and had never been charged for parking. The rooms where dirty with mold in the shower and dirt in the corners of the room. The curtains were drity and only had one small trash can in the room that was pretty inconvenient when staying for 3 days. Aslo was yelled out by the kitchen employee because we didnt have a breakfast ticket? Come on it complimentary breakfast.. I paid over $500 to stay there and it just wasnt a very good experience...

    Found this hotel last minute after our other location had some issues. Booking less then 24 hours in advance and the pricing was pretty reasonable. Good breakfast, great welcoming staff. We needed a few extra towels for our room and had them within minutes of requesting them. Staff was so friendly and helpful with finding good local places to eat

    On day 2 of our stay, we were out almost all day and returned expecting our room to be cleaned but only the bin had been emptied, and a few towels replaced. The beds remained undone, bathroom unclean. Why enter the room at all if you wont clean it? The carpet in the corridors need a good vacuuming. The staff for morning breakfast were very nice and accommodating, however, too many houseflies!

    Day one everything ok Day two, my family and I went out all day, came back around 11:30 pm so garbage wasn't taken out, bathroom wasn't clean, no clean towels, no toilet paper, bed sheets weren't changed. Have to go to service desk and ask for some supplies and personnel helped me and give me supplies that I needed. he left a message so room service can do their duties for next day. Day three went out at morning and see room service personnel by the hallway servicing other rooms and see that ours will be serviced too. so came back again at night and see that they only set the same sheets from day one , pillows were just stacked in a pyle like a wall and for our surprise a bottle of water was left under the blanket we were surprised, checked bathroom and didn't leave any shampoo and floor wasn't swept even carpet wasn't vaccumed small papers were on the carpet too. It was our first time staying on this hotel and probably will think if we will stayed again in a future time.

    Found out via email less than a week before trip that pool would be closed. Too late to rebook elsewhere. Also, 3 night stay but no housekeeping at all? I understand sheets are not changed nightly most places anymore, but trash not emptied, no fresh towels. Keys deactivated at one point and had to have desk reprogram.     Our family has enjoyed holiday inn for over 40 years but this property is in dangerous condition. At first the room seemed fine a little outdated for a holiday inn but tolerable. We kept wondering why the floor was wet in the middle of the room(tile area) we thought our grandchildren had gotten the floor wet after a pool visit then we considered a leak in the shower coming from bathroom then it got worse the eve before we departed we discovered it’s leaking from bathroom (must be plumbing inside wall) in addition to mini fridge leaking which someone had stuck 2 sponges under fridge to absorb leak -they were saturated. The chairs were in such poor shape the metal was sticking out of upholstery which one of my grandchildren was cut on. Duvets on both beds were ripped with filling coming out. Can’t believe someone hasn’t been injured in pool area the tile surrounding pool was slick for an adult much less a child. Everyone who worked there was friendly and went out of their way to help especially Danielle at front lobby she was so welcoming when we came in very sweet and professional. The gentleman running free breakfast kept everything stocked up and clean. Our family have been loyal holiday inn visitors for over four decades this was our first disappointment. Hopefully someone will repair and update this property before someone is hurt.

    So, a couple of things. Added extra charges like parking and a $30 a night charge for incidentals, I don’t think this is the best area. We come up here quite often and I wouldn’t return. There was a dirty wash cloth in the elevator for the first 24 hours. The beds were ok. The staff were very friendly and responded to requests with a can do attitude.     The free breakfast was excellent. Hot and cold food. The guy running the breakfast rush does a fantastic job of keeping things as they should be. Unfortunately my room 312 gets an F. The furniture was dirty and the TV has choppy and very limited service. There was a smell in there that couldn’t be removed. Hoping it wasn’t mold since we breathe that in for 3 days. I was given a discount for it but i definitely made for an uncomfortable stay. I’m hoping they deal with that issue asap. Thank you to the staff for trying.

    My best friend and I stayed for 2 nights to see Niagra Falls which was on our bucket list. The hotel was in an easy place to get around town from because it is on a main route with plenty of places to chose from to eat just down the street and just 3 miles, an easy route to the Park area. The room was fine but the beds were hard to get on; too high for us! The air conditioning unit was noisy and the tub seemed a little slippery. With no fan in the bathroom, the mirror got fogged up and was a little embarrassing with no way to clear out smells! On a positive note, the breakfast was good; we loved the bacon and scrambled eggs with a warm cinnamon roll and the employees were all very friendly and helpful. Tried to get into the building from the back parking but door was not key operatable so couldn't get in from the back to our room which might have been a closer route to our room. Finally; we both enjoyed our time at Niagra Falls and the Holiday Inn Express!

    AC was not working. We slept in the heat and we're very uncomfortable. We did not talk to the front desk about it because my 1-year-old was asleep and we checked in close to midnight. I am pretty sure all they would have done was offer us another room and we could not afford to move because that would have woken up the baby who was extremely tired and crying all the way to the hotel.

    Staff was extremely friendly upon our arrival. The room was not clean the Jacuzzi tub we cleaned ourselves before using. There were stains on our bed. Room was out dated. We wanted to use the indoor pool to take out grandson swimming but the water was freezing. Breakfast was decent and had a good selection.

    The refrigerator would work off and on, the walls were paper thin, the shower hardly worked at all was a fight to get the hot water! The first night we arrived the pool was open but a kid got cut in it then the next night the pool was closed down because the ceiling was falling down!!! The inly good thing about this hotel was the staff was super nice and helpful.

    After patiently waiting she checked me in for the evening, she advised there was a parking fee, and when I asked why is that it’s policy. I was upset with parking fees for the fact that the parking lot along with the grounds were not maintained. The lot was not plowed, you could not see where parking was and the grounds were extremely unsafe without the walkways being plowed or salt on them. Someone as myself not familiar with snow slip several times. I enjoyed the sitting area to have breakfast but the tall African American male that worked there just standing staring at everyone was a bit creepy. He also took a cigarette break I believe when he walked out 1 of the side doors and left them ajar for easy access back in.

    The pool was closed, which is 1 reason why I booked there then the keycard to get in the room, the lock broke, offered another room but I already had everything unpackef. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was great with fresh hot food options. I personally think the inside needs upgrading and the room wasnt very clean. Dirty tables and debris in drawers, curtains would not close all the way, had to clip them together for privacy in jacuzzi.

    I would not stay in this hotel again. Spider living in the bathroom, old dirty water in the bottom of the fridge, crumbs on the sofa and stains on the chair. It was just disgusting and I’m upset that I even stayed there. I didn’t get in until 130am so I didn’t see the dirtiness until the morning time.

    The property is old, dark and feels like depressing. most of the staffs are friendly and welcoming except to the man facilitating in the breakfast area. The hotel policy said we can’t leave our pet unattended in the room, I and my partner are both starving, so we decided to have our pet come with us on the breakfast area. Our pet didn’t bark to anyone or showing any aggressive traits (he was on leash too) I was just sitting, holding my pet until my partner comes back and waiting for my turn to grab mine. Until, this guy approaches us rudely that our dog should have a red “vest” and told us that he is not safe in front of a lot of people. We felt embarrassed. At that time, all my excitement to have a breakfast is gone, we go back to our room as soon as possible. We didn’t eat the breakfast and toss it on the bin since we already loss our appetite, and just decided to pack our things and leave.

    Used to stay at this location years ago. Never again. Old and dated. Can’t believe I was charged for parking. I’ll be checking hotels.com it shouldn’t have been charged. Walls paper thin. Could heat the people talking next door. Very noisy. Pail in hallway full of water from a leak. So many new and nicer in the area. I chose because of past experiences never again.

    Checked in then went out to dinner when we finally came back and got ready to go to sleep, we pulled the covers back, the bed appeared to not have been remade after the last guest….. top sheet was crumbled at the foot of the bed along with lint, crumbs and hair on the fitted sheet!

    This has always been our go to place to stay when visiting Buffalo. The hotel has not been maintained well and is starting to look rundown. Our room had dirt in the corners and under the bathroom vanity. It did not feel like a clean place to stay. Our room had to be moved since there was no cleaner and the room we were supposed to have wasn’t clean. There were signs on multiple doors indicating rooms were not clean. Does not instill much confidence in the rest of the hotels cleanliness. We had booked a larger room for 5 people and bad 2 towlels. Had to go down to the front desk 3 times before the laundry was finished at almost 10 at night to get towels. Each time we went out of the hotel, front desk staff was outside the front door smoking so had to walk through that to get to your car. Definitely won’t be staying here again!!

    The room had new bedding (i think) and thats about it. The air conditioning unit looked like it has never been cleaned. Some items were dusted some weren't. IF the room was vacuumed it was main traffic area's only, there was still dust bunnies and other stuff on the floor.The bathroom, a clump of hair in the corner. Honesty I could go on, but id like to forget this stay even happened.

    Then why was it open to us to cause us misery. Do whatever possible to get us a refund. My old parents almost slipped in washroom as the curtains in the washroom were not properly installed causing lot of water spilled in the washroom
