The room had recently been remodeled and it was wonderful. Clean and well apportioned. Will definitely stay there again. We had a top floor and the stairs were a bit much for us so would request a ground floor room, otherwise the experience was great. The steep stairs to the second floor.

The location was perfect for me. It was very clean and well maintained. This mattress was too hard. Other rooms I’ve stayed in on the first floor the mattresses were good. Next time I will request first floor. Also, the stairs were difficult for me. My stay was generally very good.

Big room, fridge, coffee machine, microwave. So good that I had 2 beds with different types of mattresses, it was solid and my back stayed straight and I could sleep really good. Also their swimming pool was nice and warm and they had a barbecue place , free WiFi and parking The air conditioner was little bit noisy

We love the pool, its heated and there are nice clean BBQ's to cook dinner and sit outside under the gazebo protected from the sun and rain. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The motel is clean, the towels are soft, there’s a mini kitchen(microwave,stove, coffee maker & big fridge) there’s also Plates cups to use. My husband’s comment : the best motel we ever stayed in Niagara Falls,On. We will be staying here again if we come back to Niagara Falls.. N/a

Clean, spacious, quiet, comfortable, convenient.

At my request I was given a quiet room which was actually a free upgrade as I booked 1 bed and received 2 beds. The manager/ owner is a lovely couple who are very friendly and accommodating . Although checkout is 11 a.m at my request I was given 1220 to 1230 pm at no extra charge. Although this is a motel the room was as well appointed if not more so than much more expensive hotels I generally stay at which was super clean, complete with fridge/ microwave, hot plate, toaster, kitchen utensils, dishwashing liquid, complimentary coffeemaker/ coffee, more than enough towels, soap,shampoo, clean toilet, a lovely deep bathtub/ shower combination , TV, air condition, plenty of firm towels etc. I had forgotten my toothbrush/ toothpaste and was quickly given a brand-new store quality toothbrush/ toothpaste as opposed to other hotels who give a simple wooden disposable toothbrush with a small amount of paste. There was a table with 2 firm chairs which was perfect for eating in or could have been used as a desk. There are plenty of electric outlets etc. It may have been the best motel I had ever stayed in and a fantastic value. Although I didn't use it there was an outdoor swimming pools and comfortable seated area. There was nothing of significance. The bar of soap was very thin but it wasn't a problem washing hands/ bathing as there was about 4 of them. While the bathtub was excellent perhaps a safety bar could be installed but I managed very well. Perhaps they have special rooms for clients who identify as disabled . Another thing which some may find off-putting is that there are chairs outside of the rooms where some customers sit and smoke. However I understand that if they are not provided it increasing probability of people smoking in the room although its a non smoking motel. However no smoke entered my room. This is not a criticism of the motel as I knew this when I booked. The motel is quite a distance from the Falls but this is one of the reasons its much cheaper than hotels near the falls and doesn't have all the extra falls view charges. There is a public bus across the street but I did a combination of walking and uber. If one has a car it's not an issue and there is free parking in the motel.

For a motel, it was pretty clean, cozy and neat. It was also affordable. The receptionist was nice aswell. Will come back here.

Ive been here before I love this place loved the jacuzzi in the suite. Im coming back :)

Very clean rooms for a Niagara Motel. Having a kitchen was a bonus. My group had 3 rooms and two of us had kitchens we didn’t expect. All our rooms were dated but very clean. Staff were friendly and very easy going.

Bed and pillows uncomfortable, shower tiles were cracked. Very cold room, needs a lot of updating. Way too much for such poor quality.

As always is a great place to stay. Highly recommend. Owners and staff are top notch.

The room was a good size. Microwave and fridge were both clean. For a mini fridge it was a good size. Front desk Kevin super friendly and helpful when I tripped the circuit breaker because I had to many appliances running lol.

Clean rooms

The staff was kind when checking in. We had a 2nd floor room, I asked if we could get 1st floor…no problem! They were pretty full. Full size coffee maker in room. Clean and comfortable!

Nice clean room and close to all amenities. Niagara transit has replaced Wego and it requires a transfer to get to the falls.

Comfy bed. Well maintained property. Lot of smokers outside the room though.

1)The flooring had rips in various places. 2) there was one bedside table. 3) the bathtub had no anti slip mat. 4) there were no handle bars in the bath to have a shower. To avoid potential accident we skipped the shower.

Stayed for two days in September 2025. Room had a king bed and a kitchen. Kitchen was well stocked with all dishes, pot and pans you would need if you wanted to cook meals at the motel. Room was very clean. Motel looks like it is from the late 1950s and has had some updates but our room was a little tired but was good value for the price. Would recommend

The Blue Moon exceeded our expectations. Room 23. It is motel style with 2 levels of rooms with outside entrances. The room was slightly smaller than most hotel rooms. It was spotless! 2 queen beds. They wash all bedding, including the top spreads after each guest. Room included a large refrigerator, hot plate, full size coffee pot with coffee, full stock of dinnerware and glasses. There were 2 chairs and a small table outside on the balcony. The landscaping was beautiful! There is a large heated pool with plenty of seating around it, including 2 lounge swings with comfy cushions. There is patio seating with grills and picnic tables avaliable. All outdoor areas also well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed this place and will be back.

Nice, bright, but visted on a busy weekend so a bit nosier

It was quick one night stay as we were passing through the area . The reviews made me book this motel . I am totally confused as to this motel being called excellent. Easy things like painting need to be done badly . The room has a few bugs . It was ground floor so maybe it’s to be expected in summer . Flies were also pleasant and mosquitoes. It’s old and needs a total remodel . Even the furniture was very old and shows more wear than should be expected. On a positive note , the check in was great and so was the gentleman at the desk . We slept well also and the shower was small but worked well . I must say that the reviews and pictures are misleading on this property.

Rented multiple rooms at the Blue Moon Motel this past weekend, as we were playing in a ball tournament. First of all, when I requested that all of our rooms be close together, that request was honoured without question. The rooms were very clean and the property was well maintained. My room had a full kitchenette which was very handy. Boston Pizza is right across the street and Chuck and Charlie's just up the street, so we did not have to go far for food or entertainment. Staff were very friendly as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Woke up to a cockroach in my bed 😏

The cooking utensils and cutleries need replacement. The night light from the lamp outside the door comes through the glass of the door, too bright on the eyes. Avoid using scented detergent on laundry of bed sheets. The floor needs upgrading. Curtain needs replacement also. The shower faucet needs to be checked -- water flows out along the edge of the tub during shower, leaving puddles of water on the floor afterwards.

Last 2 trips pool was very hot32++°?, this time better re cool nights, owner asked, said he was heating daily, still 30++°. WHY HEATING??? VERY DISAPOINTING. HARDLY USABLE, NEVER A PROBLEM WITH PREVIOUS OWNERS!!! May not return??!!

Above average landscaping to create a quiet retreat

I hate giving a negative review for anyone, but we had a poor experience at this motel and I felt I needed to share. We saw the glowing reviews about the pool and cleanliness and were incredibly excited to give it a go. On the positive, the reviews were right that the pool area was adorable, they had a great BBQ area and the rooms were very neat. Negative: I realized we had a problem when there were ashtrays in front of all of the rooms. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke, so that was a red flag I would have liked to have known this before we booked as it would have been easy to avoid this issue. When we got into our room we could hear our neighbours every move, so we prepped ourselves for a noisy night. However, it was our time at the pool that changed our minds about the place completely, as there was someone smoking hash in the kids playground beside the pool. We had to leave because the odour was horrible. It was the first time we left a hotel before nighttime even hit. I told the front desk person about the issue as we checked out, but he didn't really say anything. I truly hope this was just a one off experience and it can live up to its other reviews.

Reminded me of the homey atmosphere of motels we stayed in before the big chains took over. This motel appears to be a well run family operation that the take pride in. The rooms are simple but renovated nicely by quality tradespeople. Very clean. I am impressed that they provide this quality and care for such a reasonable price. I would recommend this place to somebody who values their dollars.

Fantastic place! Comfy beds, nice new flooring, great air conditioning. Pool and playground equipment was perfect for all age guests. Very accommodating, even with late arrivals( had to watch FIREWORKS with little guy) for any reason! Recommend for anyone, will definitely stay there next visit to the Falls!

Room was clean, beds were comfortable. AC worked well. Didn't get a chance to use pool as our stay was only one night. No complaints.

It was a nice spot but further away from the touristy area than I expected (it says 5 min drive to Clifton hill and it ended up being more like 20). But the property was well maintained and the owner was accommodating.

Our stay was lovely. The heated pool was clean and it was great to have a playground for the kids.

Such a cute and charming motel! The owners are lovely people and the property is very clean and well taken care of. I was travelling with my family and we loved our stay. Was quiet at night and the beds were so comfortable.. we had a great night sleep. The heated outdoor pool was an awesome bonus! Kids had a blast :)

very ordinary place

Good location

It is a very nice place with all the facilities. Freshco right in front, free parking with swimming pool and the best part are the plants. The owner takes such nice care of the plants, they are very well maintained and watered. It felt like home to me. The rooms are very clean with clean blankets, small fridge, a coffee maker and a microwave. I loved my 2 nights stay .

Pretty easy to access. Close enough to the Falls. Lots of restaurants in the general vicinity. Safe. Cute pool. Staff was friendly.

The washrooms should have an exhaust fan. The doors were jammed(hard to open). I requested if they can extend my checkout time by 1 hr but the manager refused. This is the first time, a hotel has rejected my request for extension.

Booked for last minute stop in Niagara. Hotel was clean and property was very well taken care of. The fridge and microwave in the room was very helpful.

The owners were lovely and when we asked about soap for doing some laundry....they have a washer and dryer on site...he asked how much we needed and then gave us some soap tabs for free! The laundy was $3.00 to wash and $1.00 to dry. They also have a lovely pool area if you are travelling with kids.

Cute older motel. Attentive owners. Delightful heated pool. Good location away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for a short drive or bus ride. Right on the bus route. Very clean and well cared for.

When we register, we were told that the back rooms to the motel were very quite and no noise. However, at 9:00 PM when we went back to the motel the noise was unbelievable. I went to the office to complain about the noise. The person at the desk mention quiet time was from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM The noise settle down in the pool. But in the outdoor shelter for eating, there was still a lot of noise until 11:30 PM

The pool looked very clean. The BBQ area was a nice touch. The staff at check in was quick and pleasant. The room was very comfortable and clean. A very nice, simple stay.

Best motel in Niagara region, Canada.

The room was clean, but very small. Furniture was dated. The bed was fairly comfortable, but the sheets were not fitted and were too small for the bed. Though the inside was clean, I felt that more attention could be paid to the outdoors. Christmas decorations and lights in June? That was offputting and may have tainted my thoughts on the property. The pool seemed clean though we didn't use it.

The room reeked of cigarette, despite the fact that I requested a non-smoking room. I could everything happening in the next room and on the street. When the guests next door would shower, the sound was such that it felt like they were in my own bathroom.

Of course, I didn't expect such a cleanliness when I booked the motel. But it was surprisingly clean and well cared. It was spotless. The beds were comfy, pillows smelled good. The bathroom was beyond what I could expect from a motel. It was spotless and odourless, well cared. The kitchen was nice. Though there weren't enough dinnerwares for a 4 people room, 😂 we could manage. I didn't see a heater inside the room, but it wasn't cold. The room was air-conditioned. Parking could be done right Infront if the room. Overall, it was beyond my expectations. I admire those guys keeping the place clean and nice. And it deserves all the stars I can give.

Room was great. Stayed in a double bed with kitchen room. Very reasonably priced and kitchen included all cook and dishware. Very satisfied, this is the 3rd time Ive stayed here and will definitely stay here again.

Dated motel, but you get what you pay for. Everything clean, bed comfortable, location is great with lots of food options and walkable distance, was here for an event across the street where they charge 4 times what I paid here’s so really can’t complain. I would love for the owner to upgrade the room door with better lock system, feel a little unsafe as anyone can easily pick that lock, at least there is a lock chain, but really please upgrade the lock. Otherwise the neighborhood seems like any other GTA city, I was comfortable to stay there, will do it again if nearby.

This property had great reviews. Unfortunately neighbours loud with talking and slamming doors at 6 am. It was quieter in the day then during the night time. You could hear noises from other rooms. Did not get the quiet experience I was expecting. Very disappointing experience. Feels like I got ripped off for the money I put into it.
