The location was ok. Was a little far from most things Language barrier checking in. No rails on steps. Steps actually falling apart. Had to park in back which was sketchy to say the least. Asked for a blanket did not know what it was and said no they didn’t have any. Mattresses so bad if you have any back issues do not stay there. No outlets.. extension cords everywhere . No plastic cups but had regular coffee mugs filled with all kinds of stuff for coffee, but dirty just to drink from. Would not stay there again!!

It was quaint not your standard hotel room, decor from the 1970's The room was clean but beaten up and dark and dated, could have used a fresh paint job. The maid didn't come in and make up the bed or restock the room.The breakfast wasn't very good. There was no elevator so if you aren't able to manage stairs stay away. Most of the staff couldn't understand english

Breakfast included freshly made waffles, sausage, & eggs. Spa tub was a nice treat.

The heat barely worked, hot water was hit and miss, and when i drained the jaccuzi tub, it backed up the shower drain got the floor wet. Also brought up all the grime from the pipe. 0/5 stars, id rather sleep in my car

Everything was good and the staff are all very friendly and nice, if I ever come back to Niagara I will definitely stay here again, thank you all the staff for ur service

My friends and I had a great time. We got use of the pool, parking was literally outside our door, walking distance to shops and restaurants. The only issue was the coffee machine in our room was not working. I will definitely come back. The staff was wonderful, friendly kind and efficient.

The overall stay was great. Breakfast was great! Staff was very tentative to our needs and questions. Rooms were very clean and spacious. The pool however could be a little warmer. The pool was a nice set up - very tropical.

Spacious and convenient to US

Very nice staff. We had a great stay.

Couldn't shower, the selector didn't work, the water ran the complete time and wouldn't shut off. No hot water. The vanity sink would barely drain so you couldn't have the water run for very long. The rib would fill up will water as well and drained very slow. Told the front desk person and it and the answer was just "ok" when checking out. Won't go back, will spend a little more money and get a place that you can actually take a shower.

There was water damage around patio door, carpet not cleaned and the room smelled terrible.

Parking seemed safe but there were homeless people outside near the bus stop which was seemed unsafe.

The pool was frigid! I’m from Alaska so that tells you how frigid the water was. There is no hot tub, it must be broken because it wasn’t filled with water for quite some time it looked like. Our Keurig was broken, so they replaced it for us. The new one had mold in the water compartment. The breakfast was limited, the line was long, and they literally served hotdogs for breakfast. You could wait in a separate line for a waffle, but again had a ton of options for them to redeem themselves.

Big room, clean and tidy but somewhat dated. Lovely front staff and very amicable as well.

pool not functioning

pleasant staff, lots of parking. Breakfast average, but not available until 830am which is late for many travellers who want to get on the road or have work/meetings. pool hours also very limited, start 230 pm. Rooms need a good cleaning, visible dirt on walls near heater/ac system, no bath matt provided, no recycling bins.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this place has been kept despite it being an older property. The decor was outdated but overall very clean, had all of the essentials, reliable internet and a smart TV. Great for short trips with lots of food options within walking distance.

You get whats expected for the price you paid. Good price, comfortable stay. Its decent and clean enough. Not the most up to date but i wouldnt have expected 5 star for the price.

The beds and pillows were very comfy! The place could use a deep clean. The breakfast was boiled eggs, sausage, vegetables, cereal, waffle, toast, yogurt.

The room was in great shape and was clean. The rest could use some work. Cluttered hallways, dim lighting in the main area and a mediocre breakfast at best. The sausages were good, but hard boiled eggs were hard to peel and they didnt even have ketchup. Simple but also shows a lack of attention to detail.

Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Rooms and property were well taken care of. Staff was friendly.

My only remark is to have a few more options for eggs for breakfast(or have the hardboiled eggs peeled), heat the pool, and have the hot tub available. Other than that, the staff were amazing and it was a beautiful hotel.

Overall good location, friendly owners. However the bed in my room was very wobbly, and sound isolation is terrible. bathroom and washroom also needs major renovation. For the price though, it’s a great choice.

The only positive was comfortable beds and clean sheets. Would not recommend.

Quiet location, free parking.. did not avail breakfast as it was too late for us (8:30am) before we head home...

The AC/heater didn't work, the couch was broken. One of the bed sheets had blood spots on it. Washroom was very clean, the Jacuzzi was also very clean. The pool water was extremely cold, also the pool are would be freezing closing duiring winter. It's definitely not a heated pool. My room didn't come with a ice tub for the room, it say the hotel was under reservation for 6 month. This hotel was extremely outdated, definitely not sound proof. I was disappointed, but made the best of my trip.

the carpets could use a change, the scent of the lobby is full of chlorine because of the pool but the beds were clean and comfy and you have a bus stop just in front of the property and just 10 mins to the falls by car and you have many restaurants around the property

The rooms were clean, but one of our bed springs were broken making it not comfortable. Also we booked because of the pool. And the indoor pool was very cold. They turned off the heating for the pool.

My stay was fine. The property could use some maintenance. The hot tub was empty with clear traces of rust and the water in the pool is too cold to enjoy it. The rooms are not super clean as there were dead bugs on the carpet by the window but beds are very comfortable and super clean. Bedrooms are quiet and the staff is very friendly and kind. Breakfast is very basic with the best food being freshly made waffles. Things that could be changed: proper maintenance and attention to detail; for instance if a room is booked for 4 people, they will clearly need more than 2 towels and a small piece of soap. Overall we slept well and the property has potential, but we will probably not be visiting again as at the current conditions it’s pricey for the service provided

Clean but could use updating.

We had a small spot of blood on the sheets. We had a half eaten sub under the bed. The bathtub was clogged with a mound of hair. The hotel didn’t use air conditioning in the halls or main area. The pool table was $30 per hour. The breakfast wasn’t even breakfast. Hard boiled eggs, sausage and some frozen vegetables and fruit. The staff didn’t speak much English. There were no dressers for clothes. It was a shared microwave and toaster. The pool opens at 2:30pm for some stupid reason. Breakfast is from 8:30-10:30 which is very inconvenient. There was no SportsNet or TSN to watch the Jays game. The hot tub wasn’t working. There was no jacuzzi. It was severely overpriced for what it was.

This is the worst hotel that I have ever been in. Only reason we stayed was room had already been paid for

Staff were nice..rooms clean...hallway carpet a little old and musty smell but room was clean...

The room was very clean and quiet, the staff were friendly and accommodating, the free breakfast was mediocre at best, hard boiled eggs, steamed veggies, toast, yogurt cups, cheerios, apple juice, sausages and waffles with corn syrup instead of maple syrup. We ended up opting out of breakfast the second morning and going to the all you can eat buffet nearby. There were only 2 outlets that were usable and one of them wouldnt stay plugged when we wanted to charge our phones. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. The pool was refreshing and well decorated. Unfortunately the hot tub was empty and unusable. Overall a good place to stay for a decent price. They ask for a refundable deposit of 100 dollars that you get back 5 days after you checkout, so something to keep in mind when booking.

Most of all, althought a bid old, the owners ans staff kept it clean!!

Any of these particularly the room says it has cable TV but it does not I like to watch my news every night I don't go on vacation to watch TV but I like to watch the news and they give you a piece of paper how to run the remote but it does not work the hot tub in the pool area is empty it is not in use the desk there's nobody there you have to wait all the time breakfast all they have is boiled eggs cereal and bread for toast but no peanut butter no jams and the lineup to get a waffle is ridiculous I was totally disappointed with the breakfast part I rate this place for out of 10 there is good things about this place it's parking lots parking stuff is friendly when they are there to see you and the place is fairly clean and the bed is very comfortable and we had a room facing the room you could not hear the traffic at all so as well insulated

Hotel was just awful, dirty (hair in the bathroom, good on the carpet) paint was peeling from the doors, panels falling from the wall exposing electrics. Couldn’t wait to leave

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience during our one-night stay at this hotel. The rooms were extremely dirty, and the bathroom was in terrible condition. The breakfast was almost non-existent and of very poor quality. Honestly, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I truly feel like I wasted my money. We were traveling with another family who had a 6-year-old child, and they were also very unhappy. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Outside looked very nice. Free parking. Room was very large. Pillows weren’t so good but beds were comfortable. Breakfast was fine — waffles, sausages, veggies, boiled eggs, apple juice, tea, coffee, cereal. Person cooked your waffle for you which seemed much more hygienic than other places. Kept up for most of the night because it sounded like a smoke alarm battery went dead and was pinging. Staff were very friendly

The 2-queen room was roomy. It had a comfortable love seat and a desk with chair in it. The breakfast was a bit strange for American tastes. They had apple juice, but not orange juice. There was a choice of two cereals: Cherrios and a granola (but they were out of granola the second morning). They had eggs and sausage, but the eggs were hard-cooked, not scrambled, and some cooked vegetables. The building itself is not very handicap accessible. The breakfast room is in the basement, with no elevator.

They had a exit door towards back. When i opened it, was a jungle. They never maitain their property. There were no towels for pool area. Bathroom had only 1 towel for a family 5. Never again

Poor ventilation throughout, particularly in basement for breakfast. Towels were dirty at check in. Room was not cleaned or serviced during the day. Breakfast starts late at 8:30 am and swimming pool won't open til 2:30 pm.

And washrooms are very clean however the tap of tub is not working properly and drain of sink is not working properly. It is holding water.

It was ok, worth the price.. only one thing to mention that one of the bed was not fixed (broken slab) causing the head mattress tilt-able cause no support underneath, i mentioned it to the guy at the front desk but nobody came to fix.

One of the people in our party was in a wheelchair and we struggled getting her in and out of the building in the front entrance. The check-in attendant was there watching us. We were never informed that there was a ramp at the back until we were leaving. That was disappointing.

Need serious updates. If you are going to offer breakfast then do your research or just do a continental. Remove dirty carpets and replace with flooring. Fresh paint does wonders. Tissue and extra toilet paper a must as is proper shower curtains and shower mats. If you want to run a motel then learn how first

For a cheap motel this was ok. expedia rating was highly inflated.

This hotel is in a convenient location with excellent Italian restaurant across the street (La Strada). The employees were very nice and there was plenty of parking. The furniture in our room was dated and there were a limited number of bath towels (2) and no bath mat. The room had a good shower with real hot water. The room also had a nice TV but we had trouble because it was all streaming and we could not find a regular channel to watch like NBC or a ball game. The air conditioner was really noisy so we had to turn it off to sleep. Otherwise our room on the back side was quiet. There were no outlets by the beds to plug in my CPAP machine or my phone except behind one bed so we had to pull out the bed to get to the outlet.

Very clean, comfortable beds. Hotel is older, slightly worn but ok for the price. NO bed bugs experienced.

The property is old so a funky smell comes with that. I did find mold on the ceilings in the stairwell and hall. The breakfast was lackluster and nothing to be desired, just glad it came with the stay. The shower was clean but didnt work well and dont expect it to be hot. Overall i wouldnt stay there again i would pay a bit more and get something much nicer.

No security at night. Secure FOB to enter the building from the front and back. Back was dimly lit. Access to the building from the car park was good. Staff was leaving when we arrived from dinner. He didn’t stay around to make sure we got inside. Very unfriendly. We had to say good night to get a response; otherwise he would have passed us straight. Breakfast staff was helpful. Need variety of fruit serving. We got cold pineapples. Add apples or low-sugar fruit for diabetic persons; or even bananas, they’re cheap. Eggs, and broccoli were cold. We didn’t take the sausage. Needed a microwave to heat up breakfast. Limited hot beverage options. Only coffee and Chinese tea was available, already made. Some tea bags and hot water would be nice for choices. The bathroom was clean, but there was a long hair on the bathroom tub; It wasn’t mine. The TV came on, but no volume. The volume control on the remote wasn’t working. AC worked well but noisy. The pool was open at 2:30pm to 10:30pm. We stayed one night and returned from dinner at 10:30pm; which meant we did not have access to the pool the next morning before checkout. Disappointed. No Threadmill in the exercise room. We went out to walk on the street. These concerns are a deterrent for future stays.

C'est tres vieux, ca manque de rénovations. Le lobby, ce nest pas tres invitant, ca ne sent pas super bon. Les chambres sont correct mais sans plus, aucune climatisation a notre arrivé, il faisait 30° dans la chambre, le personnel aurait pu démarrer la clim.. a 250$/une nuit, cest tres cher payer pour ce type d'hebergement.

Breakfast was extremely disappointing. The options were limited to eggs, sausages, bread, yogurt, canned pineapple, tea, and coffee. There was no variety, and everything looked cheap and unappetizing. The sausages were clearly spoiled — we felt sick afterward. The canned pineapple tasted bad and was not fresh. When I went to request an iron, towels, and an ironing board (none of which were in the room), I had to walk around the hotel for about 5 minutes trying to find someone — again, no one was at the front desk. On the positive side, the room itself was clean, and the hotel’s location was convenient. Other than that, we were very disappointed and would not want to stay here again.

Overall, the things it does well are amazing, and the things it lacks are really bad. I did enjoy my stay though. It was clean and comfortable for the most part.

‘Manor’ is a big stretch! The photos online do not reflect the terrible condition within this motel. The room I stayed in may have been the most outdated room I have stayed in in 25 years. One and done!

The property offered rooms with three beds, which was great for our needs. Very easy drive to the falls and a lot of dining options nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. checking in and out was quick and easy. The space breakfast was served was not very pleasant. The food offerings were okay but we chose to have breakfast elsewhere after our second night. We did not use the pool but it was clean and would be great on a hotter day. The guidebook in the room was helpful but could use an update.

Staff was friendly, I liked the furniture accents in the room, it’s a more dated inn which makes it unique! It was clean enough but felt like maybe it could have used an extra vacuum! Over all stay was good!

the amount I paid was not worth the stay. I've been to hotels or properties earlier in same price point. But the facilties here was not good. There were no sleepers given in washrooms, no cutlery in the room. The sink in washroom was clogging a little. The washroom was kinda clean and why there was no door near sink area .

The outside of the property is beautiful, and well maintained. The lobby and rooms are adequate, but dated. We had no issues, and the staff are all friendly.

This was extremely disappointing as the room was not clean. We were on the main floor and you could not lock the screen or sliding glass door. The light in bathroom didn’t work, the mirror was damaged. Outside was shabby. Breakfast was not good. We stayed one night if a three night stay we didn’t feel safe .

Leak in bathroom ceiling, TV did not work, desk falling apart, chemical smell, poor breakfast choices. That said staff were very nice. Switched my room when TV couldn't be fixed, nice mattresses, bus stop right out front
