It was a better option than sleeping in our cars. I had reserved 3 rooms. One of the rooms was for my in-laws. My mother-in-law has mobility issues and cannot do stairs easily. When we checked in we were told their room was on the 3rd floor but there was no elevator. She would not be able to get up 3 flights of stairs. Staff accommodated them by giving a 1st floor room, but they still had to go downstairs to the basement level. How does a hotel not have a working elevator? They also had a broken chair in their room. Breakfast was very disappointing. My mom stayed in another room. Her tv wouldn’t change channels. Our room had some brown splatter on the ceiling.

My Room was absolutely disgusting there was hair in the tub, floors were filthy boogers on the wall, no soap to wash your hands they never came in to clean the room while we were there never took the trash out or even give us another trash bag the whole building is run down, not really ideal for a handicap person said they offered breakfast never saw that either

We left after 30 minutes in our room. The smell of smoke was terrible.We had to check into another motel.

A power outage of over 8 hours occurred due to strong winds, caused an uncomfortable night of sleep. The weather also caused part of the hanging ceiling to collapse in the hall outside my room, with insulation on the floor and panels hanging in the middle of the hall.

The room was ok. It was clean. I'm not sure the bedding was changed on one of the beds. Nothing that would keep me away from staying again. The breakfast was not much. The coffee was ok. The hallways smelled musty. I had to pay extra when I got there, I guess an extra tax came out of nowhere, even though I prepaid. The area was nice. You can hear the road traffic some in the room. The staff were helpful and nice.

Property is old and very dated. Room was clean but just enough. There were cobwebs throughout the room. Carpet and walls had stains.

There is no coffee maker in the room. There is no coffee you can come and get in the lobby if you want breakfast is a can of juice and a granola bar. There’s no breakfast coffee pot comes out exactly at six supposed to be a no smoking place, but the hallway reeks of smoke as soon as you walk in.

Desk staff was very helpful and professional. Room was comfortable , clean, and nice and warm.

Room #1 was outdated, sheets stained. Hair dryer didn’t work. Halls wreaked of weed. Room #2 was updated and clean.

Bed was like on sleeping rocks, hotel provided soap gave me contact dermatitis, poor general conditions. Would not recommend.

Dingy, mildewy. Stained carpet. wreaked of marijuana through out hallway. no coffee in room nor any in lobby. Yes, there were restaurants around but most people want coffee before they head out. Mold/ mildew in bathroom. Shower was cold never got warm let alone hot. My bad should have done more research. I'd not EVER recommend.

Nice staff and well kept property

The mattress on the beds where very noisy, uncomfortable, and we asked for them to be exchanged, nothing happened. Breakfast was only a granola bar and a can of juice, coffee was out. Horrible service

There is no free breakfast. There was only coffee. False advertising. The room was clean but bathroom floor towel was actually fully wet and just folded on side of tub.

Our stay was so disappointing - far from what we expected! Positive: the bed was comfortable. But - the back entrance that was closest to our room was dimly lit, smelled, and the entry rug had holes and curled edges that were a tripping hazard. Much of the furniture was gouged, utilitarian, but not attractive. One bedside lamp as pictured here was held together with packing tape. The base and top of the small pedestal table were weak. If items weren't carefully set in the middle of the table it tipped precariously. The surface of the tub needed a strong cleaning. After getting in the tub to take a shower, as a senior citizen with bad knees, I wanted to steady myself as I leaned over to activate the shower. However, the grab bar came out of the holes in the tub surround. We left it on the side of the tub so the cleaning staff might address this, but when we returned that evening, the bar was on the floor. My husband took it down to the desk. The attitude of the clerk was rather nonchalant. There are a couple of breakfast options including a Denney's, a pancake place and a McDonald's conveniently located nearby. I guess that would be helpful for guests who have time to go there, because the hotel's "free" breakfast consisted of pineapple juice, granola bars, and air pots of cool coffee. There was a pot in the room that allowed us to make our own. But we did not have time to go out for a sit-down breakfast. We won't ever stay there again.

Not what i was expecting. The in room ac/ heat didn't work. The beds were fine and the toilet didn't flush correctly. The tv worked. The breakfast was just pineapple juice and a cracker. Lucky there is a BK and other place near by for real eggs. No tea, only coffee. Not happy for the price.

My expectations were pretty low due to the low cost, but it was pretty bad. Dirty carpet and coffee pot. The bed had small black things (not bugs). Toilet barely flushed when it did. Hole and cracks in wall in bathroom. Light that flickered. Very noisy AC unit. The included breakfast was in a bag and had a bottle of apple juice and granola bar. On the good side the TV worked and the person at the desk was friendly.

They tried to be nice and friendly and made an effort to keep it clean—if you can call it that. But what is old stays old, and a little bit of attitude won’t change that. The entire place needs renovation. If you’re looking for medium to good conditions, find another place.

I check in and spent 5 minutes in our room making another reservation because my daughter and I could not stay here. It was dirty, smelled awful and furniture was broken. Leftover shampoo from previous guest. We left unsafe and left.

The water from the sink in the bathroom at full blast was barely coming out. The heater/air conditioner in the room would not heat. The floor around the bed was sticky and I could see what looked like big crumbs sticking on the floor. Walking, barefoot, some of my Bottom of my foot would stick because of the need for a wet mop and not just a dust mop. When I left, the maids that had their carts in the hall, didn’t have any mops or bucket with water in it, so I’m sure that until the floor gets so bad… They don’t wet mop.

Checked out of the room at 1:47am the room was infested with cockroaches

Hotel is not good the smell is awful the room was dirty and had roaches. My son took blanket off one of the beds and bugs came out. The refrigerator had blue stuff attached to the frozen ice. I had to leave my son there with his team I went down the street to the holiday inn. Don’t waste time or money these are pics from the room I stayed in

The service was horrible since we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist did not treat us well, the hallways building and the room smell a lot like tobacco and the room we asked for was not to smoke, we asked for an extra pillow they did not have, a blanket for the bed because the ones they had were dirty and they did not have, all we needed did not have, breakfast was supposed to give breakfast and what they offered was an apple and a small apple juice, house keeping not taking the Sabura and I don't fix the beds. I am completely disappointed and upset and would never return to this place and I do not recommend it to anyone.

Arrive late, front desk man was short and direct about the rules of the property, not a happy man for sure. Cigarette burns on the bed cover, old furniture, a desk with no chair, flickering lighting in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable, parking was by the window.

This had to have been the worst place I’ve ever stayed. It smelled the finishings or the remodeling was poorly done. They did not offer breakfast, even though they said they had breakfast. They tried to give me a apple and a juice from under the counter.

We pre-paid for our room thru Expedia and when we arrived the outside and inside of the hotel did not look up-kept like the pics on Expedia. The place smelt and the person at the front desk was rude. Expedia gave then the incorrect credit card info and that was my problem. We stayed in hotel next door. No refund was given. Stay away from this place!!

Not a single lamp worked in the room along with all of the room’s electric wall outlets. Charged me $20 for an early check in which was right at about 30 minutes before check in time in spite of informing them that I had travelled 7 hours before arriving there and simply needed to rest. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

We went for a walk and found the constitutional trail nearby. Very nice trail to get some exercise after a long day of driving.

As soon as you walked into the hallway to get to the room you could smell weed smoke throughout the entire building. The mattress had a terrible lean on the middle to one side. In the morning there was a cockroach by the sink.

I wouldn't recommend it. Good price, I guess. But it smelled like smoke, a can of beer was just sitting in a cone of the stairs, and the front desk man was nice, but asking too much about my nationality.

The pictures show a hot breakfast but all they offered was Granola bars and juice. I probably won't stay at Super 8 anymore because their quality has gone down and their price is almost as high as the better motels. The room was clean but pretty old.

I wasn’t expecting a high end hotel, but I thought it would be more updated. It was fairly clean, but just outdated. The woman’s the front desk was very pleasant, and the “breakfast” was an energy drink and a granola bar given to us in a bag. Not ideal.

On 2nd floor hallway smelled of smoke. Annoying for a non smoking hotel. Room fan was very good, so smoke smell in room was dissipated. The kicker was the "breakfast" which was a granola bar, can of juice and an apple (good one) all put into a plastic bag. We had a real breakfast at the nearby McDonald's after checking out. King size bed was very comfortable, coffee maker in room worked and the plumbing was good. We had a good night's sleep, so all was not lost. They definitely shouldn't advertise the "free breakfast".

There was a cockroach in the bathroom. Also, an electrical out was not covered and the tub was not clean. I will never stay in this hotel again!

The young lady at the front desk was very kind and sweet. The hotel needs a little updating it’s not dirty but it just needs freshened up a bit. They do not offer free breakfast nor do they sit anything out either. I did not try to find any vending machines so I’m not sure if they have them on the property or not. The hallways smelled of marijuana very badly, The rooms were nice except the beds were on rollers so I had to push mine up against the wall so it wouldn’t roll. There was no carpet so the floor was dirty. We were only staying overnight so it was a good enough place to just rest our heads. If I was staying longer I would if been upset.

There was a situation with my ID that was handled but it was like pulling teeth to do so. While I appreciated the fix the rest of our experience was not great. The first employee interaction was not good. The 2nd seemed like he was afraid of people. The 3rd (at checkout) was not very talkative but was fine otherwise. Along all baseboards in the room was dirty. The carpets had a moist feel but were dry. I don’t know how else to explain it. The whole room smelled kinda mildewed. There was a moldy spot on ceiling of the shower. Thankfully we did not need the shower. It’s fine if you need a place to stay. Just barely clean enough. Outdated but that’s fine. It’s the mildew that’s off putting. Disappointed in THIS specific Motel 8

It was filthy. Bed Spread had some obvious stains that it is just unbelievable they would put it on the bed. Asked for it to be replaced and it was with another spread that had cigarette burns. I am not kidding completely burned through the spread.

For the price this hotel was not worth it. Bed was very uncomfortable. The bathtub/shower was not clean.

Front desk personal was excellent. The hotel could use a few fixes, broken security chain on the door, room 104. Advertisex frer breakfast, only a bar anf juice available. Coffee in the room good. Dirt on the floor by the adorning room. Bed was comfortable, and for the price it was good.

The room was clean and roomy enough. It was a non-smoking room but there was plenty of smoke odor in the hallway back to the lobby. Many of the fixtures and furniture in the room were older and worn. A couple of times the toilet flushing handle got stuck and I had to jiggle it to get the water to stop.

Disgusting hotel ! Horrible on the outside and even worse inside ! Our room was down under ground level !!! The whole hall smelled like cigarette smoke .. the room had paint chipping everywhere , missing towels , mattress that was pretty much just a box spring . We went back to complain at the front desk and he couldn’t believe we were complaining and wanted our money back . We walked out 5 minutes after walking in the s*it hole ! DO NOT STAY HERE !!!

I have honestly never stayed in a worse place. The hotel was rundown, dirty, and smell like mold and smoke. Upon check in the employee was rude. Once I left the lobby and entered the hall toward my room I was over, with a terrible smell of mold and smoke. Our room was outdated with red plush carpeting that smells like stale smoke. The television had smudges all over it and quite honestly I was afraid to get into the bed. I only stayed here because it was the only hotel available during family weekend. I had to wash all of my clothes that were in the room because they smelled like smoke. I even had to air out my luggage because it also smelled. DO NOT STAY HERE.

This property was old and smelly, but there was no coffee or breakfast in the morning. The man behind the desk wanted to charge me for drinks and snacks. The price was similar to the Super 8's who have breakfast.

I would not recommend because the rooms are very outdated. They don't seem to clean from one person to the next. I was in 109 and when I went in and the TV was on. I tried the remote and it was not programmed to the TV. I found condoms in one of the drawers. The carpets were very dirty with cigarette burns in the carpet and chairs. This property needs to be updated. It's way overdue.

Staff interaction was nice. The property needed fixing and updating (cracked/ broken pavement, cracked toilet, sink, and furniture showed lots of wear). I appreciated the electronic locks. There wasn't a continental breakfast which should be standard. The hotel served its purpose and I would return for an overnight, but not a weekend stay.
