    I didn't like anything about this reservation, a hotel full of cockroaches, with a lot of musty smell, they don't change your towels, in the publication it says that it's with breakfast included and they only put coffee.

    The hotel looked clean and welcoming. The eating area s well. However, during breakfast we saw a wandering tenant walking on the wall while we had breakfast. The room seemed clean but the only overhead lighting was over the kitchen island so we didn't see clearly. The bathroom looked clean, and so were the towels. There was no issue until we met a few tenants later that night. Other tenants: We checked in before 7pm and left at 740pm to check out the sunset near the pineapple fountain then dinner. But when we arrived after 11pm, there were roaches. Lol. Our friends in another room found dead roaches so they were upgraded but when they returned, they also found roaches. Well rested? No. The pullout sofa looked decades old with stains and bursting thread seams. And after seeing cockroaches, no one dared pull out the sofa to sleep. So I slept on the love seat as is with my luggage as my pillow and the actual pillow between me and the backrest of the sofa. Extended stay residents: Maybe these residents (>1 week) should always be settled on the ground floor only, or the top floor only!? Recommendations: Shut down reservations for 2 weeks. Pay employees during shut down Engage pest control and thorough cleaning and have certain staff and management inspect before final payment.

    Roach motel times 10. We spent the early morning killing roaches. Asked other quests if they had the same problem. They all had roaches. I'm so glad I only booked 1 night

    The area around the hotel did not feel as safe as we would have liked. There were a lot of men standing around outside doors and there was some "drama" taking place at the time of check out. Not likely to return here.

    It was quiet & comfortable. Tried to report that the fridge seemed to be leaking... puddle on floor... but no one could e found. Ordered pizza & put leftovers in fridge & noticed beer bottle sideways on the door--bottle only half full & that was what the puddle was from. Told the front desk about it the next morning & she said she would have it cleaned up, but it was still there when I got back from my day in the city.

    Con’s: dirty (walls, windows, overall), hallways smell of smoke, elevator (never cleaned?), no hot water, bathroom lighting very dim Room 337 should be cleaner than most as I purchased some cleaning supplies from nearby Walmart and gave everything a good wipe down. You get what you pay for in most cases, so this stay actually should have cost less than an already ‘cheaper than most’ rate. Was on a budget so had to commit to this stay once I arrived. Would not stay again. Would not recommend.

    Arrived late, and didn’t realize the front desk closed at 11pm. I also missed seeing the sign on the other side of the lobby that had late check in info. I hope they may consider moving the sign in front of the desk area!! Friendly staff the next day. Room was clean but had some broken fixtures (such as TP holder).

    Inexpensive, but comfortable room with mini-kitchen & seating area. "Breakfast" was coffee & muffins. Location is close to shopping & restaurants with relatively easy access to interstate highways. If you just need a place to sleep but with few other amenities, this inexpensive choice may suit your needs as it did mine.

    The room was terrible. The smoke detector was torn out of the ceiling, there were tease smudges on the windows, and mold growing under the sink. There was no hot water! And no one to tell because the front desk closed at 11:00. Definitely not a good place to stay!

    Although i knew it was an extended stay, i was very surprised to find nothing in the kitchen, yes you could call down, if the staff was there, for necessary items, but whats a coffee cup worth without a coffeepot and coffee. Breakfast an hour in, was out of hot water for oatmeal and or grits, coffee was very strong, not much selection for muffins. Bed was comfortable, bathroom had soap and shampoo, plenty of towels for our 3 night stay, we knew there would be no housekeeping, so kept our trash emptied, but again no papertowls or wipes of any kind to use, no dishsoap to wash dishes or use dishwasher. I will not stay at another extended stay again, i guess i just didnt know what to expect.

    • The receptionist was nice upon check in. • The room floor was very sticky, and I’m not sure if was what they mopped with but our shoes stuck to the floors. • There was just a few ants in the bathtub when we got there and the next morning there was a small roach in the tub. • All night long you can hear people walking, running upstairs and doors opening and closing. • You also hear the airplanes taking off and landing near by. The only positive thing about our stay was that it was close to the Tanger Outlets and restaurants.

    Arrived with a prepaid reservation on hotels.com and at first it took a half hour for someone to arrive at the front desk. Then there was no record of my reservation and the manager said he didn’t honor prepaid and had cancelled my room. Credit card was charged and disputed

    I went to check in, and the hotel only uses 2 rooms that are pet friendly. One was messed up, from the discussion I was listing to, and the other was unavailable. The desk clerk (Asia) said that I would have to find a different hotel. She could tell by the look on my face that I wasn't pleased with that answer, so she said she would have to call the "Boss Lady" and see if they could use the second room. She relented and let us have the room. I quickly deposited my luggage and left, not very happy with the room. The floor was oily, bathroom was filthy, and the security latch was broken off the door laying on the counter. I mentioned that to the desk clerk on leaving to be sure she didn't think I had done that. I was in a hurry as my wife was in the hospital and we had to go get her. I described the room to her and when we arrived smokers were smoking outside the room drawing it in and she wasn't having any of that. So, I went to the front counter and Asia was still working and explained that we couldn't stay in such a room. She said she would reverse the charges and I would get a refund. According to Hotels.com policy, refunds would be issued within 24 hours. IT WASN'T! The ONLY thing positive I have to say is that Asia was very pleasant to work with. She mentioned it was a third party reservation that it would take some time to remedy, however the pet deposit was made directly to the hotel, and still haven't heard back from them on that either!

    My stay was not what I expected. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the cleanliness of my room. As a single female traveler I did not feel safe. The bed and pillows were not comfortable. The refrigerator had baby roaches, the water was not hot for my shower. For the price that was charged I expected more. Needless to say I will not stay at this hotel again

    pros: 1. room was clean, and as per description. 2. Close to airport and gas station, Walmart, outlets from shopping pov. 3. distance from Charleston downtown is ok - 20 mins drive minimum to go to any spot. CONS: 1. Customer service was very terrible. We reached early and was informed that room will be ready within 2 hours which is before checkin time. we went to roam around city and came after 1.5 hours of checkin time and got to know that room is still not ready and will need another 20 mins. we wanted to freshen - up and get some rest for evening but no options even no pubic restrooms. Up on asking to front desk lady - she bluntly said you can check out if you want, we were driving all day and at then end if you hear this is not at all good. 2. we got two room keys one of which never worked, which is ok. 3. Description says inside property is smoke free but could smell every where. 4. Pans and Pots were available for purchase - I don't expect this in suits, not mentioned in description too. even coffee maker was not in room/no kettle. 5. Check out experience was also same. No one as at front desk for 30-35 mins from time given. and it was not mentioned to leave room keys in room, we waited. while telling about feedback of checkin she started making excuses and was not ready to listen at all. I won't recommend this place as you don't want to ruin your mood at start of vacation and leave with same experience

    Hotel staff apologized in advance that there was no dishware/silverware in the room. The shower curtain was barely long enough to keep the bathroom floor from getting wet. There were two bath towels and two washcloths but no hand towels. The TV control did not work, so the staff provided another. The TV worked for one stint and would not turn back on thereafter; I did not bother the staff to fix it. The bed was comfortable.

    Small parking lot, parking was free. No ice machine, no pool or hot tub. Great location near restaurants and shopping centers. No dishes or silverware. No trash cans. Housekeeping only available every 2 weeks. 4 floors only. Dirty elevator. No access to the gym. Laundry room and vending available. Rooms were clean. Small beds semi-firm. Property stated free breakfast, and it wasn't available.

    We need to start with the disclaimer that this is a very economical place; the saying applies “…you get what you pay for…”. The best thing of this place was Asia, the front desk clerk: courteous, knowledgeable, kind. All else is below average: the room decor is a visit to the 1970s. The first thing is that the kitchen is empty! Not a cup, not a pan, not a fork! Forget about a toaster! It had a two coil burner, a mini microwave and the fridge. If you want anything, it is for an additional cost. The bathroom was dirty, the curtain was place so high that when you took a shower all the water ended up on the floor, not the tub side! The floor in general was so very dirty!!! I dropped some water and when I went to dry it up the napkin came up brown in color!! The most annoying thing was the door key card and the lock. I had to go every single day once or twice to remake the key cards. I kept them away from my phone and still…. There was a morning (6am) that after walking the dog I could not get in. I had to wait 30 mins for someone to come down (desk is closed until 9am) to remake keys for me! Safety wise, I was never in danger. I walked two miles every morning and never saw danger… Stay at your own risk!

    Room had bugs when we arrived and the floor was dirty. Shower was unclean and had hair. The elevator opens on its own all the time. The front desk attendant is a hit or miss as to whether someone would be there and the exterior card access doors do not lock overnight so anyone can walk into the hotel at any time which is not very secure.

    Not like ANY Extended Stay I've stayed at. Will never do the "America" ones again. If there's a kitchen, I'd want to maybe cook and not have to buy pots etc to do it while traveling (then do what...pack the pots, silverware etc to try to travel home with??). Not catered for the vacation traveler.

    The staff were nice and you could tell they tried to clean, but it was so old and in such bad shape, it was almost impossible to look and feel nice. It smelled from being old, there was weed smell coming from multiple areas and I felt so not safe, we left before we could go to sleep

    Don't stay here! An hour after my boyfriend and I checked in, we found German cockroaches on the walls, under the wallpaper, and under the furniture. We did not feel comfortable staying there, so we left. The property would not give us a refund for the night. Appliances and vents were dusty and covered in a yellow layer of tar from smoking. Stay elsewhere in the area!

    My room, although on the bottom floor, was dirty and had roaches. It had mold on the refrigerator, the carpet was grimy and dirty. The carpet's black grime was on the bottom of my three year old grandson's feet and I used the one washcloth I was allotted to clean his feet. There were live baby roaches in the bathroom crawling around. The sink did not have a drain stopper. It was advertised on the Expedia website as a suite with a fully equipped kitchen, and there was a sign in the elevator stating the same thing. It was not. I was given the choice of buying ONE set of dishes for ONE person and a small set of cookware for an additional fee or I could go to a local store and buy what I need. It was also supposed to have a dishwasher, it did not have one. For the amount of money I paid for these rooms, I feel that I should have been given what was advertised and it should have been much cleaner than it was. I have pictures of the dirt and dead bugs that I want to submit. Not that it will matter to whomever reads my review, but I will never ever stay here again and I will not recommend your establishment to anyone if they were to ask. Karen Pothier [email protected]

    Overall, our stay was ok. In my room with King size bed it had areas for improvement. In the other room with two double beds it had a plumbing issue and there was no fitted sheet for sleeper sofa. The facility advertised complimentary breakfast, there wasn’t. Laundry service available but didn’t work properly. So I give one room a 7 and a 6 for the other. The staff…Ms.Asia was.very personable and extremely nice. It was decent. It had a lot of men, especially, but people who lived there. But most were friendly.

    They told us it was too late to check in when I’ve called the hotel a day before to let them know that our flight arrived at 11:50 PM and we will head there from the airport. They left us with nowhere to go a family of 12 with children. They gave me to run around over the phone. The person who works overnight wouldn’t come down and talk to us they said they can put us somewhere else but they only have one room and that would not accommodate us. I end up having to call our hotels in that area and this is after 12:30 AM to find somewhere for me and the children to sleep

    Very clean and conveniently located near everything. If you're not particularly fond of the airport being close by and seeing the planes flying low for landing wouldnt recommend that area. But, was a very nice and enjoyable trip.

    The room smelled terrible, there was actually a cockroach on one of the beds, staff not very pleasant, bathroom was very unpleasant, very umsafe feeling throught the parking lot. If we weren’t so exhausted and didn’t have an extremely early flight, we definitely would’ve found other accommodations.

    The staff were nice when checking in. The room was nice but glasses should come in the room especially when there is a kitchen. The shower did not work correctly and the towels were not that nice. Overall not bad for the price and a quick stay.

    About what one would expect for the price, which was the lower one in the area. Would have been nice to have in room coffee, perhaps some shampoo too. There was an area for the typical breakfast buffet, but they choose not to offer one for some reason. Also, the room had a kitchenette, but the microwave didn't work at all. Just glad we didn't buy hot pockets or something and only needed to warm up pizza. Otherwise a okay.

    Ms. Asia at the front desk during the daytime was very helpful. But the other front desk staff were not. We got caught in traffic and called to request a late check in. We were told someone would be there to let us check in. But when we arrived, the front desk was closed and locked -- leaving me stranded with four children and nowhere to stay that night.

    My door was kicked in and looked like they tried putting lock bock on but the lock was unlockable, I was supposed to be checked in for two days but I checked out an hour after my check in… still haven’t had anyone respond to any of my messages even Expedia.

    the room we were in was very dated, pullout bed had no sheets, I had to ask for them was was told they were out and we could use blankets, bathroom door is sliding door and is very heavy doesn’t close all the way.No ice machine, refrigerator has two little small ice trays, fridge was all beat up, beds were hard, the last night of our stay, I found roach bugs in the bathroom. I wish I had taken pictures!

    My partner said it was like sleeping in a dank kitchen towel. The whole experience was kind of depressing. The room has seen better days and was warm and humid, even the carpet felt damp. Sheets and towels were clean but very rough. The trash in our room hasn’t been emptied. There was something that looked like gum sticking to the tub wall. Front desk staff were friendly but overall it was not worth the price.

    There were roaches all over, coming out of the door cracks, out of the sink, broken cabinets, peeling cabinets, showers feeling like you were going to fall through, semen on the pull out bed, elevator got sick, foul and rotten smells in the hall ways, no laundry soap in the lever room.

    The worst place ever. As soon as we opened the door there was a gust of heat coming out. And once we strayed to get comfortable we began to see big and baby roaches crawling out of the ac unit and crawling around the window. We instantly went down stairs to exchange the room which they had no more of which left us to try and find another hotel at 1am. Still waiting on a refund..

    Not the best quality hotel. The beds were hard as a rock and I had to go to the desk to ask for sheets. The floors were also moist and the bathtub was not fully clean. The place also smelled like marijuana. Do not recommend staying here for $285 a night.

    No respetaron mi reserva incluso ya pagada !! Llegué al otro día porque en Tampa cancelaron el vuelo por mal tiempo, cuando llegué me dijeron que mi habitación ya habían entregado a otra persona.     Never have I seen more disgusting conditions as I have in this hotel. On the day we arrived, we found five roaches clawing on the rug, on the kitchen counter and on the bathroom vanity. The following day, more roaches were found. Some of the pillow cases had what seemed like blood stains on them. The bed sheets had a variety of stains on them. The stench of smoking was revolting. There was even a hidden metal protruding from bed, which lead to my brother injuring his leg. Never was the room cleaned while we stayed there. When I spoke with the front desk about this, I was told point blank that they would not send anyone to clean nor change the towels. To add to that, the front desk explained they only service rooms EVERY TWO WEEKS. That same morning I complained, several other guests came down to protest about the same or similar conditions in their rooms. According to the front desk, they are short staffed. They only have one person for housekeeping for the whole hotel. For your safety, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HEALTH VIOLATION OF A HOTEL! I don't know how they have not been fined by a health inspector by now. Don't go by the photos they have advertising their rooms. The photos are not truthful. This is a hotel of horrors.

    I booked this place on expedia because it advertised as pet friendly. Well what they dont tell is that you have to pay a extra fee per day for your pet. They also only allow certain breeds to stay. The place smell like marijuana all day long! Not a great experience for me. Will not be staying here again.
