Conveniently located right off freeway in Novato. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Room very clean, beds comfortable and goid selection of TV channels. Only downside, no free breakfast.

It’s a great place but the location is a little sketchy. They were accommodating though, to my late checkout needs.

The lobby, bistro, business center and outside area are excepcional. Great breakfast offering and Starbucks downstairs. The only inconvenience was we were not informed that there is no housekeeping and were unpleasantly surprised by this.

This was just an average room in an expensive area. For the price you pay, you'd expect free car parking and breakfast, but no. They cater to people going to the Sonoma Racetrack, as RV's and trucks get free parking. The room was almost motel 6 quality. No slow close toilet lid, cracks in 5 of the tiles above the bathtub sealed with silicone and food particles between the wall and the nightstand. The "sofa sleeper"? That's a joke.

The facility was clean from the front door in. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Accommodations were excellent. Having a decent place to eat on the premises is a plus. Well worth the price. The whole having to pay for parking on the hotel grounds is a little much. Not just with this facility. Most of the hotels have adopted this policy. Having to pay for the right to park on the grounds seems unbalanced. Give me something for my $10 . Show me a security guy, either driving or walking. Knock that off and youll be batting 1000!

Comfortable, very clean, NO ODOR of any kind including cleaning products, very good food, accommodating staff. Quiet. Can’t say enough good things. Would definitely stay again.

Room was perfect.

This hotel and its staff helped us get through one of the hardest times in our lives. It’s about 15-20 min from Marin hospital (the reason we chose this hotel), and it allows dogs for a 100$ per stay/20$ per day fee. This was much cheaper than other hotels in the area. We were in crisis mode when we arrived and the staff immediately helped us, gave us a massive pet-friendly room, and helped us to extend our stay and even price matched to help us with our 10 day stay. They even helped us keep our same room. Richelle at the front desk was absolutely incredible and was so helpful with coordinating our extended stay and made sure we were okay. The little restaurant/bar had surprisingly good food, that was made fresh to order, and perfect after full day at the hospital when we were too tired to go anywhere. Parking is 10$ a day, pool and laundry facilities on site, microwaves and fridges in rooms. Overall one of the best experiences working with a hotel I’ve ever had, the staff care, the rooms are clean and comfy. Nothing

Room is very outdated musty smell horrible never again with this hotel how can this be part of marriot?

The location is great and the fold out sofa was great for my son. My son and I have stayed here several times and I have stayed here by myself for years with no problems. I made a comment to the front desk about the dryers that guests can use during their stay and the next thing I knew, they said I wasn’t welcome there anymore. Utterly shocked, upset and left in disbelief. Very troubling.

Did not have breakfast. Very nice stay

We had a lovely time on a mini getaway celebrating our 3 year anniversary! The room was ready early, as luck would have it, and i got to enjoy a relaxing bath after navigating the rain. We utilized the gym and loved the convenience of having a little bistro downstairs. The bed was a little too hard for my taste, but that is a common thing for most hotels. It'a not their fault i have a bad back. 😂

It is an excellent choice if you are using the Marin Airporter as it is immediately across the street. Beyond that, it is well maintained, no free breakfast. No complaints.

We stayed one night to get out of chilly summer San Francisco, and it was the perfect getaway. Not a gorgeous location but so easy, and with all the amenities and conveniences we needed—a lovely and very clean pool (with great hours—6AM-10PM—with towels poolside, a set of nice casual eateries in a shopping center next door, EV charging at the shopping center, a huge TV in the room and a very comfortable small couch for viewing/lounging, an outdoor fire pit surrounded by cozy chairs. They really did a beautiful job of taking t a fairly industrial piece of real estate and making it welcoming and very comfortable and well appointed. And the weather was 10 degrees warmer than SF!

The place is so old and very smelly. The bathroom was so directly smelled so bad. The shower was no cleaned. The whole room smell like old garbage.

Mark was so very helpful and pleasant to my wife and myself. The outside area was very relaxing and well kept.

Overall, this hotel is good for my trip. I recommend this place those who are looking for a spacious and comforable place for lodging.

The hotel and staff were very nice. I had a handicap room and the only negative comment I have is the the toilet was standard height and there were no grab bars around it.

We had a room with 2 beds. One bed was okay. The other was lumpy and very soft with a low spot in the middle. Well beyond its useful life.

The bed was comfortable and staff were helpful. However the room was very dusty- I wrote ‘Dusty’ on the top of the microwave! The bathroom floor had hair (more than one) on it which was not from us. A bit gross. To be fair the bathroom tiles were sitting above the grouting so it was probably not easy to clean. I wish I hadn’t unpacked though. The location was great for our purposes.

Michael, the chef, was excellent. I had an omelet that was the best one I have ever had and I travel a lot and my favorite meal is breakfast. I had the Avocado Toast that was better than the one I make myself everyday. I would love the lemon ? dressing recipe. We probably won’t be back because we came from Texas and Oregon to visit our old family home for the last time. This hotel was a perfect place to stay. Easy on and off the freeway. Safeway close by and last but the most important the best beds.

We loved the location of the hotel. The staff were lovely and made us feel at home. They are great with kids 😊

Check in gal was amazing and helped me out with Marriot Bonvoy membership assistance. The room was nice and black out curtains were top-notch! However, on the only day of housekeeping, there was no bar soap nor lotion provided. Also the shower curtain was pretty thin and threadbare. Otherwise it was a very clean hotel and served our needs quite well.

I had turned off the air conditioner and fan, but the machine attached to the wall still made noise. I liked the room but not this noise.

Nice hotel for a quick one night stay

Quick one-night getaway for Labor Day weekend, planned one hight in advance. Picked Courtyard by Marriott since it's always been a winner wherever we've stayed in one, and this one was just as good as expected: staff always friendly and helpful, rooms and building new and clean.

Clean and convenient. Good dining options, but you need a car to get anywhere besides McDonald's. Easy 30 minute drive to Sonoma and not too far from Muir Woods too.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights to attend a family event. Lovely communal area for meeting up/dining/breakfasts. Small gym and pool that were both great. Spacious clean room. Great staff and service. Big Safeway, Mcdonalds and other cafes and restaurants nearby.

Accommodated an early check-in. Offered complementary water bottles. The room had large windows; a well-functioning A/C /heater. Breakfast was amazing as well. One of my favorite stays.

I enjoyed it

We liked that there was a shopping center in the vicinity. It is located in a nice area. In terms of the room we were a little disappointed that we didnt have a microwave, or mirror, and we had to request bath towels. Also, we could hear the train and neighbors. Overall the room was clean and the limited staff were friendly.

Breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30. This was important because I had a nearby meeting at 7:00, which is why I chose this hotel. Breakfast was NOT ready at 6:30, so I had to leave and go to a McDonalds. NOT HAPPY.

We stayed at a different hotel every night and this was by far our favorite. Great friendly staff who paid attention to the details, the design of the room and lobby created ambiance wherever we went. We liked being able to easily walk to the Safeway for snacks. The bistro had delicious food.

I did know that the smart train was near. If someone didn't know that, it could be noise disturbing. It's a pleasant stay. Close to store and restaurants and trails for a morning walk or run.

I checked in and felt that the room I got was a bit noisy due to the freeway traffic so I called "0" and Marco the concierge that checked me in with a big smile helped me to switch a room within 20 min. Thats what I call good service. Thank you Marco.

Amazing hotel, amazing staff from Olivia at check in with her friendly demeanor and info about local restaurants, to the Baristas from Starbucks and the bartender from Brazil. Pleasant and kind, lots of thank you's and come back again. The hotel was quiet, clean and winderful. Parking on site was a plus. Highly recommend this hotel.

Rooms were pretty small but overall was great

Check in was seamless, front desk also gave us a 2pm late checkout without any additional charges! Room was clean & comfy. Only complaint was we had an early morning appointment (6:30am) on Sat and the bistro didn’t open until 7am on weekends! So no coffee available except for room instants!!
