Reviews
The hotel has a beautiful courtyard and clean rooms, but some guests have reported issues with old bedding, dirty crevices, and a lack of amenities. The staff is friendly, but the property is old and in need of updates.
- Beautiful courtyard
- Friendly staff
- Old and worn out property
- Rooms need updates and cleaning

Two amenities were not functional: the hot tub and the gas firepit tables. Both look like there is no intention of getting either of them working anytime soon. Free continental breakfast was the minimum you could offer to claim that amenity, featuring industrial white bread products, corn flakes, Cheerios, yogurt, apples, and the worst coffee I can recall - I dumped it after a few sips. Go to one of the many nearby coffee specialists or use the in-room Keurig. Rooms have been remodeled and kept in fine condition, with a modern bathroom, mini fridge, microwave and a big TV. The spot is good for us when we are visiting friends in Petaluma and Novato, so as long as their price remains competitive, we will be back.

I loved how the center courtyard had shaded seating areas and fire pits. Children can play. Felt restful and relaxing.

The property was not as the pictures showed. Stains all over the room, front desk number was disconnected and bathroom as disgusting. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at.
- 4/5
Decent price for a nice hotel room, central courtyard with grass very nice but the outside circle of where to park needs attention. 'Breakfast' was cursory but coffee, fridge and microwave good.

I really liked having the courtyard out the back door of my hotel room and the free continental breakfast was really nice each morning really cool place to stay for a few days. The staff was also very very nice from the front desk to the cleaning ladies.😊

Breakfast was basic yogurt, toast, fruit and cereal. Fine for a quick bite to eat. Location was close to The gokart track which is why we were there. Our room only had two towels for 4 stayed guests on the reservation. Our bathroom was kind of dirty as well. There was a dirty washcloth hanging from our shower pole. There was also a few spiders and webs in our bathroom that I was not expecting. Rooms were a bit outdated as well.

I like the front and back doors, this is cool as I can park in the back, then go through to the garden area, which is really nice and a good place to go and relax, or just hang out with friends! They could do better with more breakfast items, like eggs and bacon/sausage so you don't have to go out to get some real breakfast. Also, they should consider getting someone in the closed restaurant, that would be great!

inn was ok

This is more accurately described as a Motel, there’s nothing “Suites” about it. We had to ask 3 times over 3 days to get two extra pillows, so we only had the pillows needed the last night. It was clean and a place to sleep but nothing more.
- 1/5
The TV did not work properly. It kept losing signal. The internet did not work at all. Cell signal was too weak to use. The only plus was that the bed was comfortable.

I was skeptical because the price was so low, but I booked a couple of rooms for a long weekend and was really impressed. The check in was quick, staff friendly, and the rooms were very clean. The grounds were well maintained. The only thing was that the hot tub was not in service, but it was absolutely fine since its not really the time of year for that anyway. Also, if you are looking for a full breakfast, you will be disappointed, but a nice snack to tide you over is what is available and the coffee was good. Would definitely consider it if ever staying in Novato again.

Passable
- 3/5
Breakfast was very limited
- 2.5/5
Proximity to Novato They overcharge my credit card multiple times
- 3/5
Was a little disappointed that I was in a section so far away from the lobby. Was a little concerned for safety as I was traveling alone.
- 1/5
Due to a cancellation of an event I was attending, I missed my cancellation window by 2 hours and Travelocity didn’t allow my to cancel. Lame! Waste of $180
- 5/5
Nice hotel close to Sears Point raceway.
- 2/5
The desk clerk was not at all knowledgeable about the area as far as restaurants were concerned. He never even let us know where the breakfast area was or that there was one. The horizontal blind in our room had broken slats on one end so anybody walking buy could see in. The bath towels were sized for a child not an adult and I am only 5'4" tall.
- 3/5
They do not have a bar/restaurant like they advertised on their website. Very scary looking
- 4/5
Staff was nice and informative. The hotel is next to a freeway so there's that noise. Room was comfortable and clean.
- 4/5
Parking easy kinda dark lot but sweet classic set up easy in n out of your room to car. Pretty standard otherwise. Would stay again
- 4/5
Easy parking and close to stores.
- 2/5
Wasn't aware of a breakfast so have no idea if it actually is avaliable. Lots of flying insects in room. Rusty and old fixtures in bathroom. Broken coffee maker. Beds are older and need replaced.
- 4/5
Loved the grounds and very well kept. Enjoyed staying there very much while visiting friends in Novato.
- 4/5
Room was in a sketchy part of the property. Room was very small but clean
- 2/5
Not at all like the pictures! No restaurant or bar. Property is ran down & kinda scary. Doors boarded up others look kicked in. The back side where you enter your room looked shut down and abandoned. Hot tub empty with caution tape around it. Outside courtyard is cute but chairs are covered in spiders & bird poop. Cigarette butts on tables. I will say the room was clean but the towel rack is rusty & broken. It feels like housekeeping does all they can with what they have but rooms are in need of a remodel.
- 3/5
TV was not working. Asked to be fix but nothing happen.
- 4/5
Stayed for one night, check-in was easy. The motel is older but well kept, room in back was quiet and well lit at night. Nice lawn area with seating and fire pits for warm nights.
- 4/5
The property allowed us to stay with our cat and we had a good stay - thank you!
- 2/5
The room was ok, but the bathroom was barely clean with gaps in shower seals and the skylightwas dusty and had cobwebs. The pool was very dirty, the hot tub was out of order and the ice machine was broken too. Day staff was great, kind, responsive and helpful. The late night front desk was rude. I have a seriously sprained wrist and was in a lot of pain. When I realized the ice machine was broke, I walked to the office, sometime after 11 PM. I told him I needed ice for my wrist and he scoffed, barely glanced at me and said "we do not have any equipment that makes ice, so i can't help you." I then asked for a towel and he slammed the register drawer closed and rolled his eyes saying he'd have to go get it and stood there until I said, "I'm sorry, but would you please do that" Not having ice or access to ice was painful, but the rude employee was worse, especially when I was in pain.

For the price compared to other cities nearby, hotel was perfect. Very green, to be outside after a long day and able to relax with birds chirping. Area was cold because the weather but showers were really hot came in clutch would get this hotel again next time I’m up north
- 5/5
Clean. Comfortable. Nice garden view.
- 5/5
I had no issues and I’d stay there again
- 5/5
Clean and well furnished room. A standout from the nearby competition with which I have stayed nearly
- 3/5
Just ok. The room was clean and looked semi updated. Nice big screen tv. But unable to enjoy the outdoors. Lights were turned off and they would not turn on the fire pit. Based on pics I wanted to enjoy the outdoors. No gym either. Oh and they should invest in dual pane windows as it was so loud because freeway practically right outside. At least in the room I stay in 138.
- 5/5
This is a sleeping gem. Don’t pass over this property wherever you’re visiting the city, Marin, Napa/Sonoma, the location is central with quick access to both SF & wine country easily by uber or car. Management & Staff go above and beyond to be accommodating, the rooms are very well maintained and are a great respite after a long day. TV’s that allow access to your own content is huge for me - their smart TVs have all the apps and you can hook an HDMI easily. USB ports in the outlets all a win. Housekeeping is very sweet and always attentive. Our dog was welcomed which means a lot to us. Couldn’t do much better, I have since stayed here many times!
- 5/5
The rooms are very clean and comfortable.
- 2/5
First, I want to say that this is not an inn its a motel. So don't be fooled, you will be right off the freeway, hearing traffic all night. Second, my room looked pretty good until I discovered there was no water pressure, and the floors were so dirty they made my white socks black. Now If you are just traveling and passing through, this is a decent place to stay the night, but not meant for a long stay.
- 5/5
Room was clean
- 3/5
Little toilet paper or blankets
- 5/5
The room is amazing! Comfortable bed, great restroom, big TV with many options/channels/streaming. Staff is kind. The internet is patchy and service but luckily that’s not what a vacation is for. A little hidden gem. Beautiful ambience all around in a place you’d not expect.
- 5/5
This place is fantastic, and especially for the price if you book well in advance.
- 4/5
Room was excellent! Was a mild challenge finding the room on foot at night (the place seems best structured for people who have their own car) but other than that I was very pleased. Would stay again.
- 3/5
Hotel and room are OK. Bathroom was on the small side and the shower had a glass door with a drape on the side instead of a glass panel. Also no towel bars. Our heaters thermostat was broken and we could not set a temperature. We mentioned issue to management. Beds were comfortable and the unit was clean. Breakfast was limited, bagel, bread, cereal, apples, coffee and orange juice.
- 2/5
staff wonderful ~ room totally lacking! small mattress on large built in box that I stubbed my toe on ( badly)!as well as bumped leg on bare exposed wood frame! Heater VERY hard to make work and one VERY THIN blanket. Will never return

I stayed 2 weeks with my dog while my local home was being worked on. It’s a great place to have a dog because the large lawn with old growth trees and walking paths made it easy to open my door and take the dog out. People sat outside and chatted in their groups. Very pleasant and beautiful grounds. The room was adequate, but hot water ran out in the afternoon. You have to ask if you want your room cleaned. A good value for the money.
- 3/5
The place exterior paint. Pretty shabby. Suits need painting No rugs on floors freezing. Need 2 additional blankets. Staff courteous
- 2/5
toilet broke during our stay requested maintenance come in multiple times and fix it we got an excuse that they could not find a plunger so we had to walk across the property to the restroom in the lobby for 2 days
- 3/5
tv was difficult if not impossible to use, room had a strange odor with windows that dont open, no direct line on the phone to front desk
- 3/5
Negatives: the room was the one nearest to the freeway amd do you could hesr ths traffic. We arrived at night and the exterior was very poorly lit. Yjere was barely any astroturf in front of my room so not s garden room in my opinion I was told hotel rooms completely sold out but i could have a room change the next day or change to a room in back w different beds. I was reluctent as it was so dark that i did not feel safe. We entered our room via parking lot and the light was so low we couldnt see room number under the sign. Once inside we could not locate light swtch in the dark for 15 m. Side walk was uneven at entrance. There was a chain on the otherdoor that seemed insecure. The room was 57 degrees but warmed fairly soon. We got extra blankets. The next am i walked by the front of rooms at 9am. There were at least 5 vacant rooms near to mine as i could see the beds all made and blinds slightly open so it caused me to doubt about the lack of available rooms. I called a day ahead to ask them to insure hot tub would be warm and was told it wasnt working at all.
- 1/5
Worst experience staying at a hotel- half the amenities were non functioning (no hot tub, fire pits were broken). Small rooms, shower had no hot water, shady looking people staying in the room next door. If you’re coming with kids, do not recommend! Spend a little more and stay in a safe place that has warm water and has working amenities. I’ll be contacting management!

Multiple health and safety violations including: Black mold, no hot water, no soap, exposed insulation and toxic materials, windows that were deliberately disabled from opening, not changing the towels between guests and dead insects on the towels. I was in room 107 and then room 111. In room 107 there was no soap, no hot water, and the heat never got above 52 degrees. In room 111, there was black mold showing through a very thin layer of paint, dead insects on the towels that had been used to kill them by the previous guest or the staff, the door was coming apart with exposed insulation, the bathroom windows were deliberately disabled so they could not be opened for ventilation. I reported to staff, the receptionist "Griselda" and the manager "Namrata", as well as the maintenance worker. The receptionist and handyman both lied to me repeatedly, then the receptionist lied to the manager when she thought that I couldn't hear her. There was a long list of complaints about filth, pipes, and heating in a list with the corresponding room numbers, including no heat in room 108, sitting on the reception desk, but the manager tried to lie to me that there was no problem in any other room or with any other guest. This is a place of business that makes lying their standard. The first time I caught the receptionist lying, she tried to convert me to her religion and the second time she threatened me. They said I had to wait 2 days to talk to a manager, and then refused to refund me!
- 4/5
Nice room. Unfortunately ours was near the highway with lots of traffic noise. I recommend booking a room at the back. Breakfast was very basic. Good price for the Bay Area
- 5/5
The room was great! The getting there was the difficult part. Outside was very dark and you can’t see the numbers of the rooms. I found myself stopping and getting out of the car to try and see the number. Also there’s a way back area of rooms and as a woman traveling alone it’s not the best. Also it was loud outside and I found myself turning the lights off cause I felt I was so far back that if someone banged on my door it would be scary.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing from the room, the staff and the area

My partner and I chose this place specifically because it advertised having a jacuzzi. Even called prior to ensure that it was up and running, since it was non-operable the last time we stayed. When we arrived it was completely drained & no work had been done. Very disappointing. Also, I was told by the manager that my stay would have been $112.00 if I had booked directly through them and not gone through Expedia. Thought going through Expedia would save me money not cost me that much more then booking directly with the hotel.
- 2/5
Breakfast is either toast, bagel or cereal. Terrible.

Old place
- 2/5
Shower in room had black mold and no ventilation. Grass outside is fake so it's probably hella dirty when people let their dogs do business on it even if the crap gets picked up. Things look nice in pictures but when you are there it's run down or nasty especially the rooms.
- 4/5
Check in was pretty seamless. Our only issue was one of the rooms, room 123, the toilet did not work. I had a colleague in that room as I had booked the hotel for everyone and she did not let me know until the next morning that the toilet wasn't working so I'm not sure how long they went without a working toilet. My few suggestions is to maintain the rooms and improve your continental breakfast. There was very little offered for the breakfast and for a long day of attending conferences, it's important to start with a good breakfast. Maybe some more proteins such as yogurt, cheese something along those lines a little more variety and better options for coffee. I would love to stay here throughout the year but I do you need a few more amenities to make that happen do need a few more amenities to make that happen

Beautiful stay, clean room, friendly stagf
- 3/5
Nice staff. Crappy motel freeway-side. Woman next room vulgar, could hear thru wall.
- 1/5
The room reeked of cigarettes, there were multiple burn marks on the toilet seat. The sheets and pillow cases were filthy and stained. The outside of the property was decrepit and dilapidated.
- 2/5
Room was very old, shower had mold. Drapes on the window was ripped. Food from prior visitors was on the table.
- 3/5
Room was okay. We never had our room cleaned. We had to ask for clean towels every day. It was a nice hotel overall. Good for our dog but if it had just been us we would have been very disappointed with the room.

The room needs updating, the thermostat wasn’t working well & was in a bad position.

Close to freeway exit, front desk staff was not friendly and did not pay much attention to my request. Older hotel, mattresses need replacement. Rest room was tiny with no bars or hooks to hang a towel. Water leaked from under toilet bowl. Good parking outside room.

Room paint and bathroom condition, poor . Toilet seat worn out enamel wood. Asked for a better seat, was told I could have 10 percent off on the room rate. When I checked out, they said no discount on room that was promised. Tell the corporate bean counters to spend money and fix this place.

Great property. Rooms are a bit dated, and it is right on the 101, so some noise. But the price is right, and the grounds are beautiful.
- 4/5
Nicely kept up older hotel. The room was clean and quiet. Be sure to ask for a room away from the highway. A very pretty courtyard area for dogs, kids, and relaxing. The continental breakfast was only white toast, bagel, corn flakes or Cheerios, but the coffee was good.
- 5/5
Good, clean, basic room. We were on the backside of the property that was quiet and had parking right in front of our unit. Breakfast was thin, mostly bagels.
- 3/5
Was a ok stay for on and out.
- 2/5
Was very disappointed that we chose this property for the jacuzzi and and fire pit and had neither. Is a great place to stay for the money but be sure to call ahead of time if you’re wanting to use the spa or fire pits. Stayed here a few months prior and the jacuzzi was out of order then as well. Only one fire pit worked and was being used by the employees.

Our limited interaction (as we prefer it) with hotel staff was friendly, proffessional and helpful. Our toilet paper roll fell off the first 10 minutes in the room and there could be better towel hanging options. unfortunate location of public trail nearby had 'interesting' people passing through the property, but seemed to be just near the main entrance. Ultimately we were near the rear of the complex, the driveway access was tight for my ½ ton pickup, but it was quiet and comfortable. Ac ran nicely and shawer is large with plenty of space for taller guests (im 6', likely suitable up to 6'2" or 4). I felt safe and the nearby areas seemed nice. Many food options within a couple miles, walkable or drivable without too much hassle. Centered very nicely between san Francisco and Napa, our 2 intended locations for day trips. At the end of the day it was a great place to stay, especially at the price point for the area. Will highly consider the location for possible future visits to the region.
- 2/5
This hotel might have been a gem in its heyday. Now it is bland and boring. Lacks amenities. NEEDS BLACK OUT CURTAINS!
- 2/5
Pool closed, stained pillow cases, crumbs in bed, thin walls. Photos look nicer

NOT WORTH STAYING!!!! ALSO LITTLE NATS FLYING IN AROUND THE BATHROOM..THIS PLACE NEEDS A MAJOR REBUILD!!

Older room but great relaxing setting with calm area

Only reason i came up to novato was to get sum on pool side , their pool was out of order
- 3/5
Is it clean and relaxing option close to freeway to get to other locations. Staff was friendly, but property is better online than in person. Fire pits did not have working propane. Front (exterior) of room units was not clean. Dog friendly property, but all the doggie bag dispensers are empty!? Continental breakfast was very basic.
- 4/5
I was only there overnight for the Sonoma raceway. Beautiful and cottage like. It’s reminiscent of a 70s camp but adorable. There is a very nice garden area complete with restful hammocks and seating areas with fire pits. I would stay there again but maybe longer.
- 3/5
The center area of the property is lovely. The pool was closed (in early August). The continental breakfast is really minimal, and on our first morning was not available at the time mentioned on the web, and that was an important consideration for us.
- 2/5
This used to be the Alvarado Inn when I was a kid. Place hasn’t been updated in years. It’s weird funky and odd. The room was kind of big, but we were in the back in this weird dark area. There was a Grateful Dead hand painted hippievan that was parked in the far back. It was kind of fun staying there for nostalgic reasons, but really it’s a dump.
- 3/5
I booked this hotel to enjoy the hot tub and fire pits with my girlfriend. Unfortunately, both the hot tub and fire pits were not functional. The grounds were beautiful, which didn't make the hotel a total loss, but it was a complete disappointment since those amenities are why I booked this hotel. The room was nice with comfortable beds. If those two things worked, I would give this hotel a much higher mark for sure.
- 4/5

Service dogs welcome at no charge. Nice area to hang out, walk your dog and enjoy the weather.
- 3/5
It was ok. Our room had a stained chair and the mattress and flooring were not in great shape. Breakfast was below standard with very limited options even for a continental breakfast. Fire pits did not have propane. Staff was ok. High price for not great value.

Only problem we had was hot tub was taped off and pool looked like it needed cleaned. Room was very nice.

Could use a bit more TLC but still nice stay.
- 5/5
Amazing!
- 3/5
The location is great and I love the architecture of the place. However the rooms need an upgrade. And ensuring that at least each room has an ironing board and iron. And the bathroom towels upgraded. You can increase to the cost of stay with overall complex upgrade to reflect 2025.
- 3/5
This was my 3rd stay (every year in July just to sleep while busy all day at sporting event). First year (2023) was about a 3.5 to 4.0 (out of 5) since I received a “garden” room in the 101-121 block. It was a pretty good stay in an old & aging motel, so I came back. 2nd year was Room 165 on the backside (noisy apartment party next door over back fence), so it was a sub-par stay. I thought I’d give the motel another chance this year and requested a “garden” room and got Room 140 (check-in clerk said it was a garden room). This room faced the 101 Fwy and was only 50-100m from the freeway. There was road noise all night and I had to leave the AC/fan and TV on all night to drown out the noise. I think this was my last stay. I didn’t see any investment/improvements over the 3 years, just more aging. Unless you get a room between 101-131, you will probably be disappointed even though you may save a few $’s over the other local hotel/motels.
- 5/5
Loved the facility, only disappointing factor was spa was not operational, all else was top shelf!
- 2/5
The Inn Marin and Suites is in a very convenient location. I stayed here for four weeks, not including weekends. Unfortunately the rooms need a lot of upkeep—-lots of mold in bathrooms, overhead lights don’t work, refrigerators not working or freezing all food, tv didn’t work…..the frosted glass in the bathroom made changing uncomfortable. The roads around the property had huge potholes that were hard on my car. I am disappointed because it is pretty convenient and inexpensive…. But too many simple things didn’t work. The lights were fixed for one day and stopped working again. I was told to try unplugging and plugging in the tv (didn’t work) and I just fixed the toilet on my own each time. I requested room service but didn’t get any. I won’t be staying her again. Oh well.
- 5/5
I loved the garden portion.
- 2/5
They don't clean the room and don't even you called.
- 4/5
in 4 days, they didn't clean my bedroom not even once
- 4/5
The property had updated decor.
- 5/5
So charming and sweet… can’t wait come back!
- 5/5
The rooms were quaint wooden floor rooms. The bathrooms were older style with wooden shutters for the window. Our room did not have very much water pressure in the shower. The shower floor was a little slippery. The pillows were great. The breakfast was limited to cold cereal, toast and bagels.
- 3/5
The exterior of the property is poor. I believe that they are working to improve. If our room hadn’t been recently updated, clean and comfortable, we would have gone to another hotel. The lobby and continental breakfast area and offerings were good. The staff were all good and accommodating.
- 4/5
Property is very basic. Clean & comfortable. Location is good. Property is quite old, kept up well.
- 2/5
Toilet seat was loose. No overhead lighting in room. Very sparse "breakfast"
- 2/5
The photos on Google looked beautiful, but when we actually got there, it was disappointing from the moment we tried to enter the parking lot. The road to the check-in area was so narrow it only fit one car, so we had to park in the back lot and walk all the way around the building. Our first impression of the inn from the back was... "Oh no, this looks so crappy—we’ve been tricked." All the photos on Google only showed the inside, but the outside, especially around the parking lot, looked like an old, run-down motel. To make things worse, I nearly passed out when I saw cockroaches crawling on the bathroom walls in the middle of the night.

Checked in on a Saturday at 4:30pm, landscapers were still working on the property. They were blowing away stuff right outside my window. My room smelt like fresh paint. When I notified the front, they couldn’t put me in another room because they had no other vacancies. The bathroom was tiny and overall, the room was not impressive at all. Jacuzzi was out of order. Breakfast was coffee and store bought bagels, that’s it. We opted to grab breakfast elsewhere, it really was a joke. I would never stay here again.

Floors were dirty. Toilet didn’t flush properly.

A single story motel in a park like setting with beautiful grounds. Plenty of spots to sit and rest. Gas fire pits, a hammock and plenty of shade trees and a well maintained pool. Breakfast, however, was very meager.

Stayed there for a couple nights. Lots of insects and flies in the room, bed and sheets seemed like they were damp after laying on it for a little while. There was no warm water for a couple hours in the morning. Not the cleanest in general, and rooms are pretty old. It’s meh basically, if you want cleanliness and comfort then this isn’t it. Stay safe everyone.

Attentive service. QUIET hotel despite being at the freeway. Pretty grounds.

For instance, there was only 1 towel hook in the bathroom (the 1st room* we were in had Zero- 0!) *(We moved bc we wanted a garden room). The new room had not been upgraded, but everything looked ok. Unfortunately, we found out the next day there was a plumbing problem- no hot water & low pressure. They should have known this. We moved. This room had white blinds that did not block out the light....it DID NOT have any curtains, blackout or otherwise. The shower enclosure was a 3/4 swinging door that let water spray everywhere! It also seemed like the shower pan was leaking. Also, they have a pool & jacuzzi/hot tub- pool was dirty first day & a half. Jacuzzi not filled & dirty. So to sum up: Pretty property with potential... Fairly comfy beds Decent customer service NEEDS: Blackout blinds/curtains More towel bars/hooks* More transparency on quality of rooms

it felt unsafe

Huge amount of mosquitoes.

It was nice place very clean has a nice outside patio

The room given to us was wrongfully assigned to and used by different guests prior to our arrival time. It was used and not in order and the hotel manager told us they couldn’t do anything as the housekeepers were already gone for the day (whom we later saw on the hallway) and their rooms were fully booked for the day. We were even told that we could look for a different hotel to stay and they could give us a refund. Clearly, the manager didn’t care! [stayed on May 24]

Also could not get wifi signed on.

Easy to find. Ample parking. Queen sized bed seemed like just double bed in size.
- 3/5
I’m not picky about hotels but this was disappointing. It felt like a Motel 6.
- 2/5
Clean, spacious and quiet room. Soft bed. No trash an in room. Property felt a tad shady, dated and dirty.

We chose this location because of the pool, hot tub and on site restaurant. It was 90 degrees and a staycation was the call. When we arrived the staff ignored us and weren t greeted . Went through the quiet, unexplained process. A robot would have been more personal... room was as expected but the hot tub was inoperable and the restaurant had closed 3 months ago. Some notice on website would have helped and we would have stayed elsewhere. The stay was okay and we delt with it... jus dissapointed.

It was ok

Unfortunately, the adjacent restaurant/bar had closed down, but is undergoing refurbishment.

Pretty good place. Nice staff. Meagre continental type breakfast. Our room was near a noisy group (2 kids, a dog and loud music, banging doors, arguments) it piped down by 11pm. We were about to call the front desk, then the noise stopped.

Huge TV, nicely appointed nook with microwave and fridge. The microwave is big enough for full meals. Drive up to rooms, lots of trees and lawns with Adirondack chairs, pool. It's a beautiful place for a budget traveler, we stay here occasionally to unwind and use the pool. Tasteful and laid-back. Very decent Continental breakfast. The assistant manager Griselda is lovely and there is a lot of laughter in the mornings as she and the staff keep the breakfast service running. She is very hands on and does rounds of the property and rooms for quality control . Staff seems happy

Very charming, and lovely staff! Just a little noisy at night and early in the am, but we will definitely stay again when we are there in June!!

The shower door in my room opened a strange way, and there’s no way a big man who wears a XXL size shirt can squeeze around the shower door. The WiFi was out the whole weekend I was there. The phone didn’t work, so I couldn’t call the front desk. I don’t recommend this place

Not at all what the photos show, property is old and not elegant

Nice and peaceful place!

Love it

Not much of a free breakfast. Everything else met the expectations

The hotel was good. Service was good. Everything was good. The only problem I have is that I booked the room for three nights stayed there two nights had to check out one night early because of some family emergencies and the hotel would not refund that third night most hotel policies you have to stay at least one night and then they’ll refund the rest but not that place.

The courtyard grounds are well manicured, the room was clean, and the bed was comfy. The complimentary breakfast was convenient to catch something quick before heading out for our adventure. The only surprise we had, was how close this location was to the freeway. Our room was closest to freeway noise which wasn’t our favorite, but we did end up having a great sleep.

Just used the place to sleep. Slept well and at 6am I was out again.

We loved everything about it. Cozy quiet and romantic. Too bad the restaurant is not in business anymore.

Don't be fooled by the pictures like I was. This is not an elegant hotel. This is a dumpy little MOTEL by the side of the noisy freeway. It's old. I picked this property because there was a restaurant on site. The restaurant wasn't even open on the day that I was there. I don't think it's ever open. Maybe it's open on weekends, I don't know. It's a dumpy little place with an inside courtyard but don't be fooled by the pictures.

The electricity went out twice on us in our room.

It was an old outdated hotel but fairly decent. We just stayed one night so it was ok.

Great place! Definitely a hidden gem. Excellent service, affordable price, great location. Perfect for families.

I stay here weekly. It’s cheap, has a nice pool, and is close to 3 or 4 good restaurants
- 4/5
Check in/out process went smoothly and the hotel was very cute! Only thing I was disappointed in was the hot tub didn’t work and the staff couldn’t help. All in all, it was a good stay!

Parking is plentiful, there is a beautiful garden area to lounge in hammocks and swinging egg chairs, there is a pool and hot tub, they do serve breakfast, and your room does have 2 doors: 1 opening up to the parking lot side and 1 opening up the central garden area. What I was not so fond of was arriving back to the hotel and being locked out of my room. This was due to having to renew your room keys each day. Small inconvenience but still odd and not advertised. I also did not feel the safest as a solo traveler due to the amount of damage around my room's door. There are also chain, bolt locks inside each door that must be latched to lock the door completely. I also was hearing a few weird noises in the evenings, but that could be wind or something else. Staff was friendly overall and I did not try the breakfast. Overall it was fine, but I will not be returning.

Absolutely beautiful grounds/garden area. The buildings are a little dated, but it has comfortable beds, large flatscreen TV, and a generally peaceful environment.
- 5/5
well taken care of with great customer service
- 5/5
Really quiet peaceful place to stay and very friendly staff. You do need to call to get ahold of someone for check in as there isn’t really a front desk, but it’s a pretty easy process to get the keys to your room once someone helps. Breakfast was delicious!

My husband and I were staying here after a long hiking trip and were hoping to have some of the amenities like the hot tub and the restaurant. The restaurant is closed down, so there was no continental breakfast like advertised, and the hot tub was not hot. When we asked if they could raise the temperature, the front desk staff called the maintenance person for us but they weren’t able to fix the issue. Since we came pretty much for those reasons, we decided to just leave. The front desk staff did give us a full refund.

The rooms weren’t clean the headboard even had handprints on them which was just disgusting.

THE ONLY PROBLEM THE MANAGER AT THIS HOTEL HE TREATS EMPLOYEES AND COSTUMERS VERY BADLY

Because it had rained, the area outside our door had pools of water and mud and there was not mat or rug to wipe off our shoes.

The manager was not very helpful.

The property is right on the freeway making it impossible to sleep. We had to leave at 3A and sleep in our car on a side street because it was just impossible to sleep in the room. Management promised us a refund through Expedia and then refused to honor the promise when we went to secure the refund. Bad property. Bad management.
