Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center

They dont have free breakfast so be warned. The AC was terrible. When it was hot outside it was hot in the room. When it was cold outside, same thing. They didn’t bring me any amenities or clean my room the first two days. They told me $300 deposit for four nights (75/night) although I heard the guests in front of me in line were told only 55/night. Not sure why but that was upsetting

We always stay here and it is always top notch quality and cleanliness. I did not find the staff helpful as they were dismissive and ignored me multiple times.

My room had a view of an exhaust pipe and furnace. Absolutely no other view. I booked a King corner room. And when I complained to the front desk, the attendant told me that the corner rooms have the best views. Definitely not the case.

The hotel was clean, but they wouldn’t come clean your room every day after they ask you did you want them to come clean the room every day besides that it is nice big rooms I like that and very convenient convenient in the Oak Brook area. Everything is in Oakbrook that’s why I stayed over here and that’s a perfect location. Do not stay at O’Hare. Stay in Oak Brook if you come stay in Oak Brook area really nice.

Room was incredibly clean. Staff was extremely helpful. Front desk and through the chat app. Breakfast ended up being voided via vouchers, free of charge! And food was very good. We will absolutely stay here again! Literally have nothing but good things to say about this resort/hotel!

The staff at the front desk was a little off, made me feel like I wasn’t suppose to stay at their hotel. I’m a Grown-up so I didn’t make it a big deal. I stayed my 3 nights and enjoyed Chicago and went on my Mary way . I will definitely stay there again because the property is beautiful and the housekeeping staff, dining staff and all other staff except the front desk were very friendly.

Even the valet guy stopped us from using a luggage cart just sitting in the lobby. Apparently, he is the only one permitted to use it. But, then of course, be ready to tip… Overall, I’m not sure if all the problems were caused by the “third-party booking”, or the uncooperative staff. Either way, our check-in was disappointing.

Always a great experience coming here, that’s why we are coming back over and over. From amazing personell and service, to gorgeous golf course and garden views, to very clean rooms and so good food at hotel restaurant. A gem! And don’t miss the golf course, is really nicely maintained and very good course. I will be back..

It was big and clean. Staff was friendly and it is in a convenient location. The pool lights were falling off and the pool floor is really cracked up. While I was there the room next to me was parting loudly and it took security until 1 am to go up and quiet them down.

This hotel would be perfect if they had a hot tub and decided to bring a full time world class spa here. To make an appointment to bring a massage therapist on call is ridiculous. Hilton killed the class of our original Oakbrook Hills when they bought it out.

The view was nice. The bathroom was clean. The bedding and mattress were not comfortable, and some of the linens appeared to be unclean. We ended up calling to get a new blanket and the bed was poorly made. It wasn’t even like made properly. The sheets were coming off the bed they appear clean. I hope that they were clean, but I wasn’t 100% sure nor was I comfortable my husband was not feeling the best during the day so it was hard for me to for us to relax. This was our honeymoon weekend. Additionally, the base of the bed was noticeably worn and damaged. There was no microwave available in the room, and the shared microwave in the lobby was not well maintained. I was also disappointed with the housekeeping service. We were required to call in order to have the room cleaned, which was not clearly communicated. As a result, our room was not serviced as expected, and we had to request fresh towels and coffee ourselves. In my experience, routine housekeeping should be provided without guests needing to make a request. Unfortunately, the overall service did not meet expectations. Staff interactions felt minimal and lacked attentiveness, and the general atmosphere suggested a lack of engagement. Given our experience, especially while my husband was unwell and we needed additional support, this stay was quite disappointing.

No breakfast included, at that rate it should have been. Clean comfortable rooms. Staff mostly friendly but not overly outgoing. Lots of teens/young adults in the lobby due to it being new year's eve, just loud and there didn't seem to be any staff keeping control. Mostly people just hanging out listening to loud music, treating the common area as their personal space. Uninviting in my opinion. But overall a good stay. Not sure we would stay there again, but definitely not on a holiday weekend.

I was kicked out of the hotel Friday night, didn’t stay at the hotel one night and they will not give me a refund. I was harassed and provoked at the hotel bar having dinner, eventually defended myself but did not throw any punches, I was arrested, kicked out of the hotel and trespassed from the hotel. I would like assistance getting a refund. I have stayed in hundreds of hotel rooms in the last 20 years and have never had one single incident.

The location is wonderfully secluded and you have the feel of being in the country. Was there in the winter and had one of the corner rooms. Wonderful views out the upper floor. Rooms were very clean and the staff at the restruant were very accommodating

I live 8 minutes away and will definitely be back for a choice getaway… Next time I will check out the golf activities when more time permits👍👍👍👍👍 Thanks for your hospitality😊

The staff was incredible. Especially, Audra at the front desk. She checked multiple times to be sure I was happy with my stay. They were very attentive when I asked for refills of the lotion bottle in the room. The restaurant staff was pleasant , smiling and also very attentive. I will definitely stay again in the future.

The hotel was nice and the room large. Very nice front desk staff. A bit outdated, but it didn't have an unpleasant smell, which is essential. The glass elevator is very nice and runs smoothly. There is a small convenience store with a self-serve Starbucks near the front desk. You get in with the room key, choose what you'd like and pay at the front desk. The room was a quiet one-bedroom. There was a fridge and microwave with a coffee maker. Nice stay.

We were stuck in the elevator for 15 minutes and the manager stayed with us for support. She also comped our dinner. I’ll stay there again.

The Hilton Oak Brook Resort in Illinois was a very clean hotel with great amenities. The staff was very attentive and professional. This will be my go to hotel when staying in Oak Brook.

The only problem I had was the communication between a receptionist and I. We had a later checkin and it wasn't pleasant. All of my questions weren't answered, the way things were said were as if there was a problem that I was unaware of. I didn't like it.

Found hairs that were not mine on the toilet and in the clean folded towels. Yuck.

The hotel itself is nice and I try to stay here when we need to go to the Chicago area. However, I booked my room 10 months in advance with a room with 2 Queen beds. When I arrived they put me in a room with one king bed because they were “overbooked”. I was told there was nothing they could do short of canceling the room. One of us had to sleep on a rollaway bed which was frustrating given how much I payed for the room.

Liked the proximity to our family who live in the area. Liked that there is both in- and out- pools.

There was a security guard beating on my room door scaring my kids at 11:00 at night, said he had a noise complaint but I truly believe he was walking pads my room and made a bad judgement call on his end because we were not loud and he was rude about it. We left the hotel at 11:30 last night I never experienced anything like this before and truly was embarrassed

The hotel and staff were great. The only knock we had was the air in our room didn't seem to work very well. We had it set all the way down to 60 and it still didn't seem to get very cool. The pool was nice, the room was great, and the bed was comfy.

2 resturants at hotel. The one told us their was a family room downstairs in the restaurant only to get down there and it was closed due to a water line break. 4 elevators & only 1 working we were on the 4th floor

I just stayed one night after a wedding due to proximity and cost. I think that I can overlook some negatives, but the "resort fee" seemed unnecessary. The 6am wake up call from slamming doors and rambling ice machines were unfortunate but such is life.

Convenient enough location for our stay in Chicago. I would raise attention to the staff at the front desk. The greeting was not friendly, no smiles observed in my arrival as a guest. A matter was resolved with our double reservation by Expedia and was appreciated. However upon checking out the same experience in approaching the desk was consistent. While asking for our final bill, it was billed to the card on the account without considering my wishes first. I wanted to pay in cash but the card was billed with no consideration of that request. “No greeting, no Happy Mother’s Day!’, no, “How was your stay???” No appreciation for considering your property. It was cold and unfriendly.I would not for those reasons consider your location again. There was also the sent of marijuana in the bathroom that evening upon our return. Unsure how you monitor that but there needs to be some consideration to the guests who don’t indulge. Customer service rating is a 2 at best.

We always enjoy our stay at Hilton - Oak Brook hills. Lots of room to roam about, good rooms, great bar/restaurant and the location (western Chicago Suburbs) is superb.

The pool was great! My daughter and her friends had a blast. Staff was helpful, my request for connecting rooms was granted. Service at the restaurant was excellent. Unfortunately our room had a very strong chemical cleaner smell which was pretty awful. I would have changed rooms but the connecting room was fine and my daughter and friends had already settled in.

Our stay was very enjoyable, lots to do and nice facility. Grand son loved the large indoor pool. Room was comfortable and clean. Downside was the shower water pressure and took three calls to finally get our wash clothes. If not for last two things mentioned would have been 5 star rating

Had a wonderful stay at this Hilton. It was within walking distance to the FMC Natatorium which was a huge plus. Staff was very friendly and helpful and catered to all our needs. As we walked a lot, it would be nice to have a sidewalk from the hotel to the main road. The food at the restaurant was always amazing.

We love coming here!! This year I rented a suite for our annual Oscar party. It was great. We wish we had an extra table for our food.
