    I liked the price and free parking. THATS IT! The first room the lady at the front desk (Suzanne) gave me was extremely hot, the AC didn’t work, and it was a puddle of water all over the bathroom floor like there was a leak. I went down to tell her and asked for another room which she gave me right away. The second room I walked in looked and smelled like it hasn’t been cleaned for months. It was food(old/fresh) all over the counter top, clothes all over the floor, and just SMELLED completely DISGUSTING!! I went back downstairs to request a refund and Suzanne was sitting in the lobby playing Uno!! She gave me a refund and told me well the room was marked cleaned, which was very unsettling! If the room was marked cleaned how are people getting in and out. The bread on the counter was fresh. The clothes on the floor looked like someone was taking there pants off and just leaving them. Luckily no one was in the room at the time! Elevators were running extremely slow! Just overall not a good visit this time! This was room 219

    There was no coffee pot, no kitchen towels, housekeeping was once every 14 days so no clean sheets. Only 2 bath towels and 2 wash cloths provided. No soap. Cabinets showed signs of deterioration and were damaged. Very disappointed and will never stay there again.

    Also, the front door locks after a certain amount of time but the phone to contact the staff doesn’t work. We were stuck outside for 30 min before we were able to get a hold of someone. Will never go back!!

    The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. But I got no sleep because it sounded like they were bailing hay above my room. Doors were banged shut constantly. The room would vibrate from all the noise. I was woken up at least once every half hour for every night I was there. I would not recommend this place if you want to get a good nights sleep.

    The poor guy was running everything. The room we were given first that he was told was clean had no sheets or comforter on beds no towels either. Units looked run down but manager was trying. Room needed lot attention. Tub needs reglazed. Cabinet doors looked like from 80s. Pillows flat. Alarm clock has annoying buzzing sound we unplugged it.

    says break fast included, but no break past says kitch and utencils but kitchen no utencils, when asked we have to either purchase from hotel or bring our own.. says 5 pwople sleeps but did not provide blankets for 2 people. bath roon has just soap no shampo, no moisturizer no Iron , no hair dryer.. room full of bad odor.. overall worst than motel (ps i never been to motel) bottom line waste of money and i really thinking stop using hotels.com and as well as extended stay for life..

    We’ve stayed here 3 times. Each time we come visit our family in Chicago from Florida. We come stay here with you guys.. it’s very convenient and the staff is very nice! The first room that was given to me smelled like cat urine and I did not want to stay in that room. They moved me to room 133 downstairs to a new room with two beds and that room was much better, but the floor was all sticky, and the sink in the bathroom was clogged all the time so we had to use the kitchen sink for everything but everything else was exceptional and things happen

    If you get to this hotel before check in time, good luck getting anything out of it. The front desk opens at 10am and you need a keycard to get into the lobby, there's no bathrooms available before you get to your room and the dont allow luggage to be held at the front desk. The floors of the room are sticky and the only amenity they provide is a soap bar. They only saving grace of the hotel is the front desk attendant Justin, who is by far the kindest hotel employee I've ever dealt with. He saved my trip. The employee before Justin said no to literally every interaction I heard. Im not sure why that person was even there it felt like talking to a wall.

My family members had the same problems and on of the rooms the door would not lock.     The bathtub was clogged. The guy at the front desk named Justin I think put an order to be fixed the next day. The next day, the lady working in the morning was very arrogant and said that there is no maintenance until tomorrow. That day, I was obligated to shower, but the next day was my check out after wasting over $200 to get that kind of a suite. I am very disappointed. No more booking in there.

    The only reason I did not give a 5 star was because my skin reacted to the bedding material, which although was quite clean, I couldn’t really use the beddings and pillows. But hey, I was able to drive a short distance to the dollar general to get blankets and other basic supplies and I got the comfortable stay I wanted! Tip: it’s like home, you could bring your bedding and supplies or get from target/ other stores, there’s a plethora of choices close to the space; this is if you’re like me and picky about bedding material.

Keycards worked probably half the time, and the elevator door closes like my grandma walking down the stairs (it also blares a siren whilst the door is closing).     The space between the window and heating unit allowed lots of cold air from the outside into the room. Unfortunately, we felt the bitter cold because temperature was at its coldest in Chicago and surrounding areas. It was unacceptable for any hotel! I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

    My stay would have been better if the fire alarm wasn’t going off for 1 1/2 hours and had people going into our cars and it was extremely cold out. I had no car and had to stand outside for that long and it shouldn’t have took the fire department 40 mins just to get there and to turn it off.

    We came shortly after hours and no one was at the desk. We had to wait outside between the doors, call the main number, then they called the hotel and it was another 10-15 minutes before anyone came to let us in. Then rhey said the wifi was down and it took another 15 minutes to get checked in even though we had reservations. Our room had a broken door, no items in the kitchen, only 1 bar of soap, a broken closet door, no iron, a latge bug in the bathtub, and we set the air on 60 and it maybe got down to 72. Additonally, someone was definitely smoking weed and I had ny child with me. The smell was VERY strong on the whole floor.

    Upon arrival,Hallways and our room was very smelly. Smelled like animal urine. I had to spray air freshener every time my kids and I entered the room. Floors were dirty. Housekeeping needs to dust because it was spiderwebs on light fixtures. Entering the room the door looked like it’s been broken into and they tried to fix it but not stable. Bathroom door handle was on backwards.

    The room was dirty. I spilled water on the floor and when I wiped it up the paper towel was filthy black. Under the bed I found a used band aide. The sink stopper was forced down in the bathroom and would not drain. We stuck a spoon in it to help the sink drain but it was slow. I asked three times to get the basic two cups, glasses, plates and silverware. I had to call three times and then I went down and picked it up. The guest general meeting room was closed and blocked off for an apparent leak in the ceiling????? This was a 3 story building. This was supposed to be the best price through Expedia but they had cheaper rates posted on their website. Very disappointed. I rented two rooms and had people over for a gathering. All guests were equally disappointed. I feel that I should get some of the $450.00 I spent on the two rooms back. Extremely disappointed. When I reported the sink they told me no one would be there that could fix it until Monday. If I had a screw driver I could have fixed it myself.

    To make matters worse, the front desk staff, including the manager Crystal, displayed unprofessional behavior. When I asked to speak with the manager, I was left on hold for over 15 minutes before being told that the manager was "taking out the trash." This lack of respect and disregard for customer service is unacceptable. Additionally, I was shocked to discover roaches in my room. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, I was told that a work order would be put in and someone would follow up with me. However, I have yet to receive any further communication on the matter. Overall, my experience at this hotel was marred by unprofessionalism and a lack of basic customer service. I would not recommend staying here and I certainly will not be returning. It is important for hotels to prioritize guest satisfaction and this establishment failed to meet even the most basic standards.

    Not the best experience...the service desk ran out of key cards, which wasn't very convenient. When asked for extra towels we were told that we needed to bring the used towels we used to exchange for clean ones. There were strange smells coming from the room next door. There was no late check out. Just not the quality expected from Extended Stay America. I acknowledge that this is not a 4/5 star hotel but this location can and should do better.

    First room assigned to me reeked smoke, nasty carpet, walls were discolored and hair was in the bathtub. It was so bad I requested another room, the staff was nice and found a better room for me otherwise I would have left and found another hotel. I was only staying for one night thankfully. I don’t recommend staying at this dirty place.

    This is a very basic hotel, you have to request amenities such as coffee, pot, and cups. The floors of the lobby and the elevators were always dirty, there is garbage piling up around the property room really needs to be redone. It is very worn down and although the staff was very accommodating and nice, they are only there from 7 AM to 11 PM.

    The room window was open & had bugs flying around. The A/C was not on, dusty lamps & chairs, the fridge was completely off... so I had to go out and buy my own cleaning supplies to clean the room & bathroom myself. This is what I get for looking for an affordable place to stay

    Staff was rude upon check in. No extra blankets were available upon check-in. There were no coffee pot, cups or cooking pans for the kitchen. Breakfast was just coffee and prepackaged muffins.

    Beds comfort clean microwave dirty floors needed to be swept carpet stains room didn't stink fridge work excellent TV worked bathroom could use a better cleaning counters dirty in bathroom and kitchenette but front desk helpful cleaning staff rude wouldn't take trash told to throw away myself directed me to room where it goes next to elevator where she went down.

    It was okay. Nothing special. Outdated. No remote for tv. Had to get front desk to try 5 different ones u til 1 worked. One tiny 1oz bottle of shampoo for 2 adults with long hair and no conditioner.

    Except for instant oatmeal, there was no or little breakfast, when it stated it was included. Had to change rooms because first one was in bad shape. Personnel did whatever they could to satisfy is. But Manager never showed up.

    There were roaches crawling out from the sink and on the bathroom wall. They were also in both garbage bin areas. The breakfast had just oatmeal and drinks. Muffins, granola bars were promised, but not available. The smoke alarm went off Sunday morning and it was a long time before it was turned off.

    I didn't like that i had to drop of my dirty towels and linen 2 hours before i needed to use them to be washed each time. A very big inconvenience when you are on a limited time schedule. they should have clean linen and towels already to be switch out. rude staff and coffee was very weak and bland.taste like they only used half the pack of coffee grounds.

    My room was oversold. I was stuck with a smoke infested room. I switched to another room but that one had an odor as well. I was so tired I just dealt with it. Almost everything in the room was broken. I didn’t enjoy my experience there.

    Rented 4 rooms for employees. 2 rooms had roaches in the beds. 1 room had no shower curtain. Breakfast option was granola bars. Cops were called on somebody at the property. Guest selling drugs outside rooms. Christmas lights up in windows in some rooms. Do yourself a favor and pass on this place.

    My room was freezing cold because the AC/Heating did not work. They said they couldn’t move my room and maintenance wasn’t available until the next day. My 4 kids and I had to suffer through the night bundled up. Then we were awaken at 7am to the fire alarm going off and everyone had to exit the property until the fire department came . We had no update as to what happened and they didn’t tell us it was safe to come back in. We were all still outside in the cold lost
