Honestly the place i have stayed at so far. Helpful staff, beautiful and clean room! Amazing breakfast! and cheap shuttle from and to the airport!

I stayed at Spring Hill Oakland Airport for a wedding and I expected a good but pretty standard stay. I was happily surprised at how spacious and pretty the rooms were. My kids also loved the pool which was both indoor and outdoor, so comfortable for us sitting at the poolside. The highlight for our family was the housekeeping staff, all of them were so friendly and conscientiously greeting us whenever we passed them in the hall. I've never experienced (nor even expected) this from housekeeping staff, they're so busy, but this was such a hospitable gesture every time! I'd recommend staying at Spring Hill if you're visiting the Oakland airport area any time soon!

The room was comfortable. Staff was friendly! I called the front desk on Sunday morning & spoke with Elsa to request clean towels & for the room to get clean. I did let her know we would be out all day long. When we returned, our trash was still there, all the dirty towels still there, so basically no one had gone in to clean it. I called front desk again, a guy answered so I informed him & asked him to please send someone that we would be taking our daughter to the swimming pool & would be gone for the next 3 hrs. When we got back all they did was drop off some towels on top of the bed & picked up the wet ones from the floor. By the time we left on Monday morning, our trash was overflowing! How can we not get cleaning Service for the entire weekend if I paid almost $500 for Two Nights. We stay @ hotels all of the time & this was Very disappointing. We would not be returning guests @ this particular hotel.

There is large desk for work and a large bathroom. The hotel is very clean and close to the airport. The only negative is the area around the hotel which is crime ridden with homeless. The hotel is very secure.

Located in unsafe neighborhood. Had to checkout 1 day earlier due to unsafe conditions and hotel would not refund the day/night i didnt use. Hotel was conveniently located next to the Oakland airport. We arrived late (after midnight) and there was still plenty of parking. The staff was super nice. The room was so comfortable and with one of the best hotel mattresses I have ever slept on. Great hotel.

Hotel lobby and outside very nice. The hotel room was also nice. The breakfast was very good and it had a lot of variety even for me who is a diabetic. I called a week before arriving asked about shuttle service to the Oakland arena. I was told that they do have shuttle service there but don't guarantee a ride back. When we checked in I was told that they don't.

Flew in to Oakland for a girls trip to a few wineries & wanted to stay near the airport the night prior to our flight. Glad we chose this property! Check in&out easy. Friendly staff. Comfy beds. Clean spacious suit. Free breakfast was perfect. The dining & drinks were satisfying. The bartender made us very good Cadillac margaritas & dirty martinis!! The surrounding area is not as pleasant but once I checked in everything I needed was inside. Oh & free transportation to the airport was right on time!! I was skeptical at first but everything was great in my opinion.

This is my second stay here and both stays were great! Its quiet, parking isn't a headache, they offer shuttle services to Oakland Arena if Uber isn't for you, the room itself is very spacious, clean, and nice. Definitely worth the money. Thank you to the staff working here, you guys are what makes the experience a pleasant one.

Everything great, except they sent a Holiday Inn van to pick up passengers at the Oakland Airport instead of a Springhill Marriott Shuttle, which had me waiting about 30 minutes to get to the hotel, which was only abut 3 minutes away.

We had luggage issues. The driver took half of us to hotel then came back for us. So worry free.

Our room was large and nice, and very clean, as were the bed and pillows which were also very comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean, and good-sized, with ample counter top space to set up personal toiletries. The hallways on our floor were nice and wide, clean and properly well lit. Hotel staff at reception were also nice and friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Oakland Airport, and will not hesitate to stay there again in the future.

The room was very clean and the bed nice and comfortable. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Their lobby restaurant, London Bar & Grill, had excellent food and great service. This is going to be a regular pit stop when coming in and out of the Bay Area!

We stayed overnight and were met with great customer service, cleanliness, and the bar had a great bartender who was very sweet and made you feel very welcomed.

Breakfast has good and decent selection. The gentleman that oversees the cleanliness and re-filling of items was friendly and approach-able.

Super clean. Staff was friendly. We stayed with a bunch of concert goers and it was surprisingly quiet. Also decent complimentary breakfast. I’ll be coming back again!

Friendly staff—front desk and bartender. Clean ! Close to airport with a shuttle. The happy hour was wonderful. Breakfast was less than expected. The medium coffee urn was empty and even though the staff came into the area to check on the area, the coffee was never refilled, over a 40 minute period. The packaged pastries were still cold(frozen??) and no way to heat them. The oatmeal “toppings” were half empty and the containers appeared to need a good cleaning.

The room was so comfortable that I decided to stay in and rest away my traveler’s exhaustion. Would definitely stay again.

It was super clean, bright and cheery. Our room was spacious, clean, quiet and the bed, bedding and pillows were super comfy. The restaurant and bar were also a surprise as it was pretty good for a hotel and the free breakfast was one of the better ones I’ve had. The parking was also nice, clean and right against the hotel. It is extra so beware but it didn’t bother me as this is very standard these days. Super close to the freeway but far enough to be quiet like I said. Staff were great! Will stay here again! Literally can’t think of anything.

Springhill Suites in Oakland didn't disappoint. Felt safe as soon as we pulled in. Beautiful and clean. Breakfast was on point. I really appreciate the gentleman in the breakfast area. My daughter was looking for waffles so he brought them out for her. He was very polite and happy to be there, just as we were. Our stay was wonderful. Thank you!

Top tier hotel. Great food at restaurant. Hotel room is amazing, fresh and clean, with all the amenities. Convenient to the airport. Area around the hotel is NOT safe, but hotel is very safe so hang there and you will be just fine.

Convenient location, pleasant room, comfy beds, and surprisingly quiet for an airport hotel. Being charged for the shuttle to the airport was a surprise, and we didn’t get to take it. My adult kid had broken their ankle a couple of days earlier, and couldn’t get up the shuttle steps—not accessible at all. We also could have used more help with bags in the AM. I’m 82 years old and had to load the heavy bags onto a cart by myself.

if you are traveling through Oakland airport and need a place to stay, STAY HERE. Super friendly staff present, from the time we were picked up by their shuttle, through check-in, and then dinner at the bar. Surprisingly good food, had salmon salad and chicken wings....great selection of draft beers (including local) and even a few good wines. Breakfast the next day featured (real) scrambled eggs, smoked bacon, great oatmeal, and many bread choices, The chef came out to say hello and bus some tables, even provide some coffee refills.....are you kidding me?? The property is new (4 years old) and is immaculately clean. We saw several flight crews here, along with some MC clubs, ALL PEACEFUL, people just hanging out. We will also be staying here when completing our trip back home. Do yourself a favor and STAY HERE!

Manager did get back to me about addressing issues I have in detailed review, but still won’t be returning. Didn’t even offer discount for my inconveniences or anything, so apologies and promises to address it are pretty meaningless to me.

Nice hotel with great staff. Just didn’t care for the surroundings outside of the hotel.

The bathroom was a little too unique, sharing the room with my adult son. It would be better to have the toilet/shower apart from the lit makeup mirror.

Our room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. There was a nice sofa for lounging and watching TV which could also turn into a trundle bed if we had more guests. There was also a refrigerator and microwave which were convenient. The room was quiet and the bed soft and relaxing. We had an early flight the next morning and the airport shuttle was waiting for us. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to have any of the complimentary breakfast. We will definitely return. Great stay for a reasonable price.

Bus and Bart are not easy to access so you need an Uber/Lyft or taxi to get here from the airport. Once inside you feel welcomed and the facility is clean and quiet

I had a fantastic experience at the SpringHill Hotel. The staff were incredibly courteous and professional, and the entire property was clean and well-maintained. The front desk team was especially helpful and welcoming, making check-in and any questions a breeze. Everything about my stay was smooth and pleasant. I truly had one of the best hotel experiences and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

Went to Oakland for a concert this was the hotel we decided to stay at. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, and the room was amazing!! Very clean very comfortable!! I give it a 10 out of 10 and 2 thumbs up.

Went to Oakland only for a concert and Springhill Suites conveniently served that purpose being only 6mins away from the airport and less than 10mins away from the arena.

The rooms were amazing and large, beds comfortable and plenty, rooms dark and clean with super friendly staff. We’ll be making Spring Hill Suites our standard for family travel plans from herein.

1. Hotels.com is a rip-off if you sign up for an account. They charge you more (how backwards) than you pay as a guest. 2. Hotels.com has specific rooms in these hotels. Basically, the “lower quality” rooms. This must be how they can offer “discounted” rates. The rooms that were available before I signed in were no longer offered once I signed in. 3. I can't prove it, but the hotels.com rooms are creepy. Someone is always hovering around in the vertically adjacent rooms. There has got to be a better way to book. Once upon a month or two ago, I swore by this hotel. Now, I'd be surprised if I ever go back. I couldn't sleep because someone was stomping from 11PM to 4AM. It was terrible! The hotel staff is amazing, very polite, and professional. However, they have hidden fees (parking), even though California has steep penalties for that. The interior design is aesthetically very pleasing. I am assuming they put me in a high-turnover room. It lacked proper tlc.

Booked last minute for a concert. Room was clean. I forgot to ask if unscented products were available. I forgot my soap & shampoo at home. Breakfast and dinner were convenient. I would stay again and just bring earplugs and unscented products with me.

Nice room. Felt like a safe location. There was a flashing light on the smoke alarm that was annoying and the housekeeping staff was super loud early in the morning. Walls a pretty thin so not super quiet.

This stay was for a work trip in San Leandro. Close to my meeting site and reasonably priced. Maybe give the parking lot more security. The hotel is nice, but the surrounding area is sketchy.

Perfect location, amazing staff, they’ve got an airport shuttle and you can park your car there while you’re away for much less than the airport charges. Breakfast in the morning was a huge bonus for us! 10/10 would recommend and we will be staying here every time we fly out of Oakland

Perfect stay before our early flight the next morning

In general, the hotel appeared to be quite new, with the rooms being reasonably clean and the staff being really nice. The breakfast was really good as well. Unfortunately, there were some noisy and inconsiderate guests, and the surrounding area isn’t particularly safe, raising concerns about potential car break-ins.

Cons: There is one elevator for the wraparound building. It's kind of a bummer if your room is far away from the sole elevator. It depends on whether you have a lot of stuff. But it's not a problem if you have one bag or so because the stairs are everywhere. That lake or whatever that water reservoir is stinks, so opening the window while possible is probably unpleasant! Pros: The pros are that breakfast has alternative meat options (turkey). This is definitely a first! Usually, it's just pork. Parking is available near every alternative entrance. About four or five entrances and exits around the building are very convenient. The furniture is Farley new, beautiful, and quality. Built-in streaming capabilities on the TV. Just log in! The staff is so helpful and respectful. They never have an attitude or complain; they do everything with a smile as if they are genuinely happy to serve (that's so rare!!). The bad reviews must be due to individuals not wanting to share this place because it's quite amazing.

With one exception, this was a great place to stay. We liked the location close to OAK and the car rental center, and easy access to I80. Having a bar and restaurant next to the lobby was another plus. The front desk staff was friendly and responsive. BUT, for some unexplained reason, the housekeepers skipped our room for 2 days in a row, so we had to call for fresh towel and supplies.

The staff was kind and accommodating. Not really busy maybe due to holidays. Up to date exceptionally clean, I would recommend this place to anyone who is visiting the Bay Area.

This hotel is a nice place to stay in Oakland. They have security on the premises to watch your cars and making sure to you have a parking permit.

The room was nice & big and set up well except the lighting in the room was very dim…should add some LED lights to brighten up the room. The free breakfast was excellent with lots of food options & the staff managing the breakfast was very nice.
