The only thing missing was Guests weren't able to grill food outside.

I loved the location. You can walk to the mall or local eateries. The checking in and the front receptionists were friendly. I loved that it included breakfast. My kids loved the pool. I didn’t have my room cleaned every day during the five nights I stayed because there was so many of us. So when I asked a maid to collect our trash or give us new towels, it seemed like I would get attitude or they would tell me yes they will and they didn’t. I understand it gets busy, but that’s something that is in their job description. The breakfast isn’t that great when I did find the time to go down there.

Lack luster experience. We had to move rooms because the first room had a terrible smell and black mold spores growing in the shower. The staff had a hard time responding to simple requests for towels and toilet paper. Additionally, the rooms weren’t well maintained; torn couches, worn wood, extremely tarnished and rusted towel racks, dirty irons, old AC units.

The room itself looked nice and was generally clean. However, housekeeping could do a better job with details like dusting baseboards and corners—I noticed quite a bit of dust along the carpet edges, especially in the closet near the ironing board. Turning on the shower was frustrating every time. The handle is on the same side as the showerhead, and with the glass door in place, I had to step inside, get hit with cold water, and quickly step back out. There didn’t seem to be any other way to turn it on without getting soaked. There were also two elevators, but one was out of service. Someone I rode with mentioned it had been down for about a year. The remaining elevator was slow, and at times a little unsettling—it would dip slightly when stepping in on the fourth floor. On a positive note, the staff was good, and the breakfast was about what you’d expect. Overall, the stay was decent, but there are definitely areas that could be improved.

It was okay, my room smelled like food so that was gross but overall I had such a bad migraine from the smell of spicy mayo in the room I had to check out a little early. Other than that it was so so. However I did get soap cause my soap was empty and they gave me a used refilled bottle that had mold on the pump so that frustrated me. Thats just gross.

Dirty sheets, called front desk and I had to change them myself. Graffiti inside the closet, nasty breakfast.

Stayed for one night for a family of 4. Although the room was big enough with a living area, the layout was off. Bathroom sink is facing king bed, which makes sleeping at night awkward as the lights are right in front of the bed if u need to use the bathroom. It’s carpeted around the sink also, which is kinda gross. Please wear sandal, shoes or socks at all times. The carpet is extremely dirty. Wore socks in the room, and being there for only about 30 mins, bottom of my white socks were black. A bit moldy in the shower floors (wear sandals when showering). Only one elevator was in service. So it took forever to get to the 5 floor. Leaving our floor took about 15 min, because it was always full and leaving with all luggages, stroller and family was a struggle. Also, it stopped on every floor. Location was good as it right next to Ontario mills outlet.

In addition, another first for me, I had to hold the toilet seat up every time I relieved myself. Other problems included only one working elevator, a room and bathroom in need of refreshing, and no shampoo in their dispenser (it could have been the dispenser was broken). In all, I recommend Expedia take this hotel off your site. Hyatt stole my money, plain and simple. I know I will not ever use another Hyatt again. Since I live near a flagship Hyatt and have regularly played golf there a couple times a year, have had family stay there when visiting, and eaten at their restaurants, I assure you their loss of revenue from me, my family, and business will far exceed this petty theft. Completely irresponsible.

the rooms were spacious, the staff was amazing, the only issue was one of the elevators was out of service, which made for a long wait to get to the 6th floor.

Staff were nice, breakfast was pretty good (coffee was cold), gym is small with limited equipment. Fine for a quick overnighter, but there are many other hotels in the area that might be worth looking into if you want something a little more updated and clean.

We came to check in and they had no record of our prepaid reservation thankfully hotels.com staff got us a new stay in a nearby hotel it was for no additional charge but the double charged us for the $150 deposit which we will not be refunded for 7 to 10 days. Other than that the new hotel was nice great location clean quiet and after ll a good stay. Thank you hotels.com customer service for helping us.

Lots of options for breakfast. They offer paper plates to take your breakfast to your room or actual plates to dine in the lobby, which is pretty small and can get pretty crowded. It's a short 5 minute walk to the mall if you're attending an event there. Our room was nice and spacious with a couch, decent size mini fridge, and an additional sink.

Location next to the freeway was very loud. Plumbing sounds rattled through the walls constantly. One of the two elevators were not functioning. The one that was working was slow and bumpy. The receptionist joked about the "sad" excuse for a bar, while mentioning that we dont even want to know how mush a water costs! The only good thing about this stay was that it was limited to one night.

Everything was great. The comforter had yellow stains but clean. Its ok. Other than that. The walls were thick enough for us to not hear any noise around especially in the morning when the maintenance comes to other rooms to clean. We were very pleased. Definitely coming back for future stays in Ontario. Check in and out was fast and smooth. No complaints about anything.

The location of the hotel was great. The rooms were a little outdated, but we were told the hotel would be going through a remodel soon. So maybe it will be better? The hot water seemed to be having issues getting hot during our stay. It would be lukewarm at the highest temp. But it was possible that they hotel was fully booked at the time? It did get a little better each night we stayed. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and accommodating! Props to them!

The noise from the construction across the street was intolerable! Who wants to awaken to beeping noises coming from construction trucks? I was so upset that I got out of there as quickly as I could on my departure morning! How long will that construction take place? I enjoy staying at your hotel when i visit the area.

A bag with pills etc was taken also a bra and panties, which were on the back of the couch, the bag on the floor Creepy? Nice to know after someone entered our room whilst we were sleeping. We asked the hotel to comp our room and they said that it was up to Expedia to tell the hotel to do so. Later as we were on the road they called and said bag was found in the swimming pools area, which was locked. We will pick up the bag on the way home . Some items seem to be missing, which we will know for sure when we get to see it. Only one person was on duty, the desk clerk. There was no one in housekeeping, we had to go down stairs to get bed linens which were not in the room. Do you think this was a good experience, I think not. It is a great case for further action considering the omission in not comping the room. We did make a return reservation, which we have been advised to cancel. What a horrid experience. I am 89, my husband 94, and our friend 83. Jean

Horrible they give me a disgusting room.. it was like a smoking room.. I order a king size bed for me and my partner and they didn’t have another king room available that didn’t smell like cigarettes so they give me a double bed room.. so mad and upset.. glad I booked for one night only.. I was planning to stay longer but i will never come back it is like a motel ugly feels dirty too.. I went around the corner to Ayres Suites and it was a much better.. stay away from this place not what you will expect fromHyatt.. the rooms are odds, the sinks counters are outside in front of your bed.. shower and toilet only in a separate little room.. 0 Start

Everything was very nice except one of two elevators was operating. It took a very long time to go up 6 floors and down 6 floors. People were tired of waiting and took the stairway instead. Im disabled so i had to wait for elevator.

I liked the fact that it was so close to Ontario Mills and many other dining and shopping options.

The room was nice and glad to have a connecting room with family.

It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t enjoyable to think that I’d stay here again. Only one staff member ever said hello, she worked Thursday night brown hair. She was welcoming and provided excellent hospitality everyone else wouldn’t even say hello or greet people when they walked in.

As far as the breakfast goes, it would have been nice to have sausage one day and bacon the next. Also, I prefer the self made waffles which are fresher than the frozen ones used at this particular Hyatt Place. The one plus was that this Hyatt was located right near the Ontario Mills Mall and mulitiple restaurants.

Did not sleep well bed was very uncomfortable. Room smelled like humidity and AC blew out this humidity smell that made the stay very uncomfortable. Staff was nice , but the hotel needs updating

We stayed here for a wedding so it was conveniently located near the venue. The staff was super helpful and really nice. Breakfast was OK. The bed and couch were uncomfortable. The toilet was like a foot off the ground. And the shower was extremely dated. It wasn’t dirty, but it could use a facelift. Good staff, though. Just not the most comfortable.

Staff was friendly but management didn’t work with us when we departed a day early for an emergency and didn’t issue us a refund. The door lock to our room had recently been changed and unlocking was a challenge every single time, stayed 2 of 3 nights and every morning the breakfast items were exactly the same with no variation in a single item. Found roaches roaming on parking lot next to pool on both nights we were there. Had used this hotel for a one night stay before and made decision to stay again for a long weekend but based on this trip would not stay here again, there are many similar options in the area

The room and hallways smelled of rancid water and mold. I asked the front desk if they could move me to another room bc I noticed I was across from a maintenance closet and stairway. They told me they could not accommodate me. Definitely not Hyatt quality or atmosphere. Very disappointed

This hyatt was accessible, really nice and clean, very professional.

1 weekend night stay, the room was a great size. The only part we didn’t enjoy was the parking, it is limited. The breakfast was very good but the eggs were cold. So we took it up to the room, unfortunately no microwave in the room. Food was still good tho lol I would stay again

The night we arrived the ac was very loud and when u turned it off it blew hot air. Reported to the front desk in the morning they said they would send an engineer. Engineer must have been there cuz the cover to the ac was loosely on and still making noise when we came back at 8 pm out all day. Next day reported again since now the thermostat was not working. Didn’t even have power again went and reported to the front desk and nothing asked for a fan didn’t even have that. Went to the front desk the next morning at check out to remind them. The time there felt like we weee paying to be ignored. No offer for future discounts no I’m sorry about that just a nod of the head and ok from the front.

It was a very busy time of year in that area. The hotel was great.

The room they gave us when me and my family got there smelled like urine so I requested another room but they claimed they were sold out, the next morning around 8 am and returned back to request a receive a new room and to my surprise they had one available, mind you the cleaning staff had not even arrived to clean rooms. When I made the transfer that morning I left my headphones in the old room but didn’t realize it until a few hours later. When I went back to the front desk to let them know they told me the room was occupied but would have the manager knock on the door to ask the guest there to check but to my surprise when I tracked my headphones it no longer showed them in the hotel but 14 miles down the street. I believe someone from the cleaning service who went in to clean the room that morning stole them. When I confronted the manager all they gave was excuses and that no one lived near that area. What’s funny to me is when I checked out the headphones magically appeared on line because I had not been able to track them until I left! They are nasty and thief’s I would not recommend that location.

Stayed here on the way to Vegas and overall it was a fine stay. Rooms were okay and spacious and felt pretty clean. Breakfast was a very standard continental breakfast, however the area was very small, so not much offered. The location is great with it being right next to Ontario mills and walking distance to the mall. Great spot if you’re just stopping by.

We had a pleasant stay. The room was clean. It had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We asked for more towels and no problem getting them. Breakfast was delicious. They served scrambled eggs, fresh salsa, sausage links, oatmeal, waffles, bagels, bread, muffins, cereal, juice, coffee, hot chocolate, and more. The people at the front desk were very kind.

If you're a light sleeper like me, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel due to its location right next to the freeway. The sound of trucks passing by throughout the night made it hard to sleep. On a more positive note, the pool was a highlight: clean, quiet, and hardly used by other guests. I also used the gym, which was well-equipped with towels and a water dispenser readily available. The front desk clerk, Sierra, truly made a difference. She was incredibly friendly, empathetic, and addressed all my concerns promptly and professionally. The best part of the stay was the breakfast. The variety was impressive from cereals to hot, fresh Belgian waffles. Everything was well-stocked, fresh, and guests weren’t limited in their selections.

Would like breakfast to start at 6 am on wknds. Travel times are longer in California. Would be nice to grab some food bwfore hitting the 7 am traffic.

We have stayed in Hyatt Place many times and this place wasn’t up to the normal Hyatt Place standards. Room had a misty smell to and the water pressure for the shower was just awful. Bathroom was super tiny. would not stay here again.

Our room in particular was mainly clean, however the sofa was torn apart and was pretty dirty. Water pressure was non existent in the shower. And maybe I’m wrong, but the hotel had no cameras on any of the floors. Usually there are many and obviously placed. Caught a guest sneaking out their very large dog, (Rottweiler) through the stairs and side entrance to the parking lot. They gave me the shh finger to lips when I saw them. Again. Cameras would have caught that.

The hotel was oversold. Staff was very rude about it and turned me away at midnight. I’m sleeping in my car now.

The stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. The customer service desk was very friendly and helpful. I came for my university graduation and it was a perfect place to stay. It was close to the mall, restaurants and Toyota arena. Would definitely recommend!

My family and I stayed here for one night. Hotel is dated but was clean and rooms were spacious. For the continental breakfast they offered waffles, scrambled eggs and sausages, oatmeal, sliced bread, bagels and some muffins, coffee, apple and orange juice. Parking filled up fast on site but plenty of parking across the street.

We returned here because when we came 2 months ago they had a heated pool. When we checked in we were told the heater was broken! Very disappointing.

This used to be a great place to stay. Now it is run down and in great need of some general upkeep. The last two rooms I stayed in had large stains on the carpets, hair in the shower and a musty smell. Worst part pf the last stay was the cockroach in my room. I've stayed here dozens of times over the years, but never will again.

Everything was great and comfortable staying at Hyatt place. Breakfast was ok not that was what I expected. I have not had any good breakfast when breakfast is included in the hotel price. Pics look good on the website but technically continental breakfast.

Power outage at our apartment so invested in staying at this hotel for my 92-year old mom and me. Very disappointed in the numerous issues encountered-toilet didn’t work, ADA shower had no mat so very dangerous for my mom to walk in/out, even with hand rails. We changed rooms, but it was more stressful for my mom. We left a day early, paid for “loss” of third night. I would not recommend.
