Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites - Waterpark by IHG

The rooms are clean and everything is well lit at night. However, there is no lifeguard that man's the pool area. There was so much running and dangerous horse playing with groups of kids and teens. I seen a few people get hurt, one child was jumped on while under the water and they were just jumping in and not even caring who was there. Knkcking people out of their way! I seen a couple different parents almost fight because of the lack of parenting. It really ruined it for us and my young grandsons. We had paid for a cabana and ended up leaving because of the danger at the pool. The gameroom is nice, lots of great games. Food court area is nice and has lots of seating.

I stay with my family and was super gods and enjoyable

The room could’ve been cleaner. The floor was very dirty when walking barefooted you can tell how much dirt is on the floor by looking at your feet? All the amenities were very family friendly. We love the swimming pool waterpark style. My child loved that arcade was right there.

Amenities 10/10. There options are endless: food, shopping, arcade, movies, waterpark, etc. Howeverr, my room was atrocious ☹️ images online are deceiving. Housekeeping was scheduled, never came over the course of a three night stay! Then our room had a broken shower, dingy and uncomfortable. I went to front desk multiple times about these issues. As a 2bedroom King Suite, I was highly disappointed! There’s more but I digress.

Staff were great, and the pool was excellent — my kids loved it. My only real complaint was the clientele. Everywhere we went, including when using our room, there was a strong smell of cannabis, clearly from other guests smoking around the resort. My kids and I weren’t fans of that. Another downside was the paper‑thin walls; we could hear conversations at all hours.

Very nice, staff was helpful pools were great, my kids really enjoyed the splash pad and the flow rider.

Everything was absolutely great!! It was a quick birthday celebration for my grandson that is on the spectrum and he loved it!! Family friendly, although you can have a date night if you'd like too! What a beautiful property! And all the staff were super friendly and helpful. Thanks for an amazing Birthday weekend. We will definitely be back.

No Bureau in second room. No enough towels and washcloths provided unless I called for them. Pool was overcrowded and not clean. Coffee maker was awful and plain black Coffee was just under $5.00 at the cafe, so I bought a $20.00 Coffee maker from Walmart and had delivered. Staff was friendly and tried to accommodate. Bed was comfortable

Day we got there everyone was helpful. After that not the best with some of them. Waterpark areas are nice, and my girls had fun. The Splash pad was under construction and had both restrooms closed at the same time, so that was not good. They have 2 arcades, movie area, a shop, and food places in the lobby. That was a big hut with us too!

The room was clean, staff was great, outdoor pool qas amazing. I also enjoyed the theater and the scenery around the hotel. Overall my family and I had an unforgettable vacation.

This was our second stay in this hotel.. the bad points were the first time the bathtub had stuff in it that looked like someone had dumped mop water in the tub and did not rinse the debris out.. the second stay was one floor higher and the main complaint would have to have been stains on the king-size bed sheets.. Both rooms had no locks on the bathroom doors.. So Nona had no privacy from the 2 ur old who kept opening the door..The good points were the swimming pools and water slides were a blast.. the food was convenient but a little high priced.. the arcades were great for the 5yr old.. we never did make the movies maybe next time.The distance to Disney was convincing..All in all we will be back..

I was assigned a room but another family was in that room so the front desk assigned us another room with upgrade with no problems It wasn’t too much I didn’t like about our stay. I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel (formerly Nickelodeon Resort). Unfortunately, our experience fell far below expectations. My wife suffered an allergic reaction after sleeping in the bed, raising concerns about the cleanliness of the room. In addition, my son used the sofa bed and we discovered gum stuck to the bedding, which was both unpleasant and unacceptable. To make matters worse, when I made the reservation, complimentary breakfast was clearly advertised as part of the booking. However, upon arrival, this benefit was not honored and I have yet to receive the free breakfast that was promised. Overall, this experience was frustrating and disappointing. I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, service, and transparency from this property. The waterpark And location close to Disney

Loved the waterpark!! Would be great if it opened earlier giving folks time to enjoy the amenities for a few hours before they have to check out. My bathtub was dirty with hair and sand. The pool was out of towels after 9pm and were not restocked other than that it was a perfect stay!!

Friday was nice and quite and family had a great time with the water slides. However, Saturday was loud and a child was left in a room with no parents to understand the crowed. Pay the extra money and stay somewhere nicer in my opinion. In all, the landscape was nice and the rooms were decent. The crowed.

This hotel is run-down. Parking is expensive and if you want to use their transportation to theme parks there is a cost of $13 per person, it’s cheaper to pay parking at the theme parks with a family of 5. Housekeeping needs to be requested and it does not feel necessary clean. Not many dinner options are available. Their only super nice asset is their pool. Hotel needs a make over. I would not stay here again.

I want to thank everyone at this hotel since check in until check out. I was celebrating my birthday, and I had a great time. The food was good, service nice. Also I had some problem at the room and immediately Jesus and Guillermo very nice persons came, friendly and kind. The only bad thing that happens was in the pool with one of the bartender they didn’t want to give us ice, I report it with the supervisor of food and beverage very kind I forgot his name and he understood the problem and toke care of it. A feedback from the rooms the floor should be change they are old. The people at the pool very nice too. Overall it was great we will be back for sure

This was a quick family trip and overall this was a great value for what we spent in the area. The location was top notch and within 10 mins of everywhere we wanted to visit this trip. The resort was clean and there was always someone cleaning up something within the resort. My kids loved the pool, slides, splash pad, park, ice cream shop, restaurants, and theatre. It was definitely family friendly and they’ve already asked to go back. My only issue the whole stay was that it was hard to rest with someone’s dog barking throughout the stay.

Was under the impression breakfast was included. It was $20 per person. The resort fee was over $50 a day... For what? Room was ok. Shower was warm, then scorching hot, the Luke warm, then burning hot. The pool was very shallow and shoulder to shoulder with kids. Parking was free so that was good. Overall I probably wouldn't stay here again

Dirty, loud, not a functional room. Small love seat with no arm rest. Dirty floor feet are black from walking on there. Moldy silver wear. Extremely loud all night until 12/1 in am.

We had a wonderful time!

Great kid friendly property! Waterpark and kid amenities were amazing! Only 2 complaints: the elevator broke in building 5 and had to walk up 4 flights of stairs with toddlers and there was no ice machine in each building.

Bathroom door came off the hinges twice locking my wife in the bathroom for 30 minutes each time until staff came to fix it and open it up cause it has to be late to meeting up with everybody at the waterpark one thing after another they need better maintenance at their properties

Waterpark for a 6 year old was not operating but was charged resort fees. We took my grandson for his Birthday so not being able to use waterpark was very disappointing. Our room was not cleaned in the 3 days that we were there.

Everything was going good until i saw they over charged me for my stay which was irrelevant and couldn’t explain why

Pay for parking was not listed in the booking site. $31 extra a night is ridiculous.

I ask to have my room cleaned and they didn't even bother to sweep into a dust pan it was swept under the couch or corners, floors weren't even mopped, the sliders were not working by building 11 which attracted us to the place bc it had splash pad attached to the slide area, when u have 5 small kids its nice to have a water area for all ages!! Rooms were super small we had the king two room with bunk beds super small not enough towels given location is great though

It was a great place to stay when visiting the Disney parks. The King suite has a kitchen with a stove top and a good sized fridge. The Uber and Lyfts were reasonably priced to the parks which made daily outings easy. The pool and surfing area at the hotel was such a hit with the kids that they wanted to stay at hotel instead of going in the parks (of course we made them go to the parks but they kids were always excited about the hotel amenities). It is a great place for families. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites Waterpark over Memorial Weekend and overall had a great time! The kids had a blast at the waterpark and the staff was very helpful. The only downside was the broken elevator, going up and down to the 5th floor every day with a baby and stroller was exhausting. Please get the elevator fixed. Other than that, it was a fun family trip!

All was well everything was clean

I didn’t like anything about this hotel “resort” there was nothing relaxing about this trip or resort like. We flew in from Philadelphia to take our 3 children on a short trip and it was HORRIBLE! We checked in to a filthy room, molded bed sheets in the bunk room, live roaches in the tub and rooms. My kids are terrified of bugs! The shower did not work properly! The water slides DID NOT function the entire time there. When all of these issues were addressed to the staff they were so nonchalant and said we could leave and book else where if we wanted. Very rude as if we didn’t spend close to 5,000 dollars on a trip and “resort” that was falsely advertised. I will be disputing this and reporting pictures to my bank and health department.

Check in on time but have to wait until room ready! So we went out to have some dinner. Room look new but it is clean. no free water. When I opened refrigerator, I saw 1 bottle that has been drank. I assume that’s not my drink.

The only thing I didn't like is that you have to pay for the additional parking to the stay

The major water attraction is closed until further notice. No signs, no notice, nothing. The elevators were packed so SUPER slow and building 5 stopped working. Staff wasn’t helpful, more focused on talking to each other… The rooms were decent. Definitely has gone down hill in the past couple of years.

Needs tlc on walkways dirty hallways etc

Most of the water slides were unavailable to use, and the floor tiles were falling apart. The mini fridge did not work, and the shower/bathtub was leaking badly. The leak was so loud that my family had to shut the bathroom door just to get some rest. On the last night, my kids even left to stay at a teammate’s house because of how bad the situation was. We submitted a work order, and maintenance came to look at the issue but never fixed anything. We submitted another request, and customer service told us the work order was in, but maintenance still never came back. They said they didn’t know why. On top of all that, the staff and management were rude. I asked for a full refund because we were uncomfortable during our stay, but they only offered to refund the resort fee and parking fee. Overall, I would not recommend this place at all. 0/10.

I liked that everything was at hands reach such as food and etc. but the waterpark is really just slides in a pool in the center of the hotel, the waterpark was very crowded throughout the stay and the AC in room shut off in the middle of the night which have you waking up hot. Oh and the housekeeper bams on door very hard and if you don’t come when they knock they will open your door without you noticing. The stay came out as 5/10 for my family. I’m happy that we have annual passes to other theme parks around the area.

Had a fabulous time !!! Property was excellent.

Although the place was clean, the rooms were very snug. The picture on Hotel.com do not match with what is actually on the property we were under the impression it had a lazy and it did not. The picture shown was from Orange Lake which is a timeshare resort affiliated with Holiday Inn Water Park. When we arrived at 6pm thinking that is still a reasonable time to enjoy the water park, that was not so, it closes at 5:00 pm and to do another water activity there you have to sign up in advance. In reality we paid as much as we did and certainly did not get our monies worth.

At first glance going into the lobby we were super excited to be there. Check in seemed to go very smooth got our water park tickets as well as our parking pass. Half of our group went out to the pool to spend a few hours the other half left to go get dinner and bring it back. When we got back our room keys didn’t work luckily we had someone that was in the room to let us in. The next morning we went to the lobby to get our keys fixed to only find out that the resort locked out keys purposely!! Saying we owed money that was supposed to be due a check in but during check in nothing was mentioned! After sorting it out they reactivated our keys. We went to Disneyworld all day Saturday came back and our keys didn’t work AGAIN! We went back to the lobby and they had to send security up to our room to reactivate our door since it was locked previously by them when we got back into our room we saw that housekeeping had never came in even though we requested clean towels.Then the morning of check out we got a knock on the door at 8am it was housekeeping coming to try to clean out room for check out but our check out wasn’t until 10:00am! Even though we had this nightmare we had asked to extend our stay for 1 extra night as we found a deal for the same room for $100 they told us the cheapest they would go for 1 night was $249 which was almost more than we had paid for the entire weekend!!!!

I don’t like nothing about this hotel

Prior to booking this hotel all my six kids were super excited about the water slides that the hotel has when we got there it was out of order and my children were very very very unhappy to know that they would only have the pool area to use. this is unacceptable. I felt like before booking you guys should notify Customers that that year is not working because I did not plan to take them off campus to do anything else for an additional money so my trip was a waste. My kids spent most your time in the hotel room because they did not wanna go to the pool because they go to pool every day while we’re at my house. I hated the fact that it was an inconvenience. . I hated the fact that it was a inconvenience. Also, an arrival the bathroom had a broken fingernail along with a sock behind the door from I’m assuming the previous person that were there also, the remote in the kids room wasn’t working also the fridge not working I also thought there was no wash when we were ready to take a shower. We have to leave over 40 minutes to get some wash clothes. When we call the front desk to tell them our complain the person who answered the phone had no remorse. They just kept moving on the conversation. There was no apologies. Nothing was made. Eventually I went downstairs and I spoke with the manager and a resort fee was refunded.

We will definitely be back! Such a nice place with a very welcoming staff. The atmosphere was clean, family-friendly, and perfect for kids. We had a great experience and truly appreciated how kind and accommodating everyone was. Highly recommend!

I get that it’s a “resort” but for the same price, go to a resort that actually feels like one instead of one that’s a glorified Motel 6 For the same end price I could’ve and should’ve just gotten a regular hotel

Bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed. Had to call on the second day for room service. One day the pool did not have towels - we had to walk all the way back to the room (opposite side of the hotel) and grab our room towels. Overall not the worse, but not the best.

A great place to bring the family when visiting the local area. The pool and surf wave was a hit with kids. The king room with a a kitchen gave us the ability to prepare light meals and have access to a good sized fridge. I highly recommend this place.

Gaps in the floor to wall, ripped towels, lukewarm water, outlets coming away from way, blinds broken in rooms, desk breaking, behind the desk - filthy (was this ever moved), the music somehow went on at 5am in the pool area!!! How does someone get access to that??? I am actually an IHG rewards member...very disappointed at these conditions

Was good I will stay again. Location close to everything. Ice machine only on the first floor. They don't put directions as to where to go.

Room was clean. The staff was nice, however after checking in I was approached by an employee, who stated he had a gift for me. He then went on to say I had to participate in a timeshare and they had to put a hold of $50 on my account. Elevators were down. Waterslide was closed. Yeah, I don’t think I would go back.

Clean room

This was a really fun experience for The Family After our Disney theme park visit. Thr Hotel was 10 minutes away from Hollywood Studios. The staff were also nice and welcome, we were also impressed with the resort like upgrades like and have a food court, convient store, Arcade game room and the included other water activities. I'd like to give a special shout out to Ms.Habiba, who was very nice and helpful in offered us excellent customer service during our recent visit.. I recommend staying here if you are looking for family fun time

Property is old, dated dirty wherever you look. The restaurants at the property are well below standards of such type. Elevators consistently having problems.

The water park was the reason I chose to stay here to spend some quality time with a god-daughter. The only part open was the pool, which almost every condominium in Florida has, which defeat the purpose of spend the night there. The pool closes in the middle of the day for cleaning , including the food service within the pool area. Overall a mediocre experience.

I did not have a good time there first of all make it clear that you are only charging a part of it and I will have to pay the rest at the hotel. I did not like that you have to literly drive to your room and had a difficult time finding it. There was a lot of teenagers yelling jumping in to the jacuzzi and no security at the pool stopping them. No free coffee no free breakfest. They did not even have free hot water! I did not like the style of the hotel looks like it's stuck in the 90s. So they forgot to give my friend a parking paper for his car and the staff behind the desk said I'll give you another one implying that we already got one. A lot of noise at night but stopped shortly. I only stayed 30 minutes and still had to pay the resort fee its not like im going to do anything for a hour before I check out. I usually give these places 5 star reviews but this one does not deserve it. Also looks like the slides were closed and gated.

The hotel room was pretty clean and staff were very friendly. Plenty of things to do!. There was a bit of renovating going on during our visit so some areas were closed off at times. All in all was a lovely stay

When we arrived the pool was pristine on Thursday.. by Monday I must say there was cigarette but and hair and oil in the pool. The staff was amazing I'm only blaming the disrespectful guests.. that I saw spilling drinks in the pool. We honestly loved the property and location.. We will definitely hopefully visit again..

I had to pay a $40+ resort fee however half of the resort was under construction and unusable. Not up to par based on pictures and information. A low 2 star hotel if that. Very disappointed!

Todo muy bueno

Half the water park was closed without notices prior to booking this was a large part of why we booked. The pool area smelled like smoke and our room of pot as if someone was smoking outside the door. Pool are not clean and hallways were in rough shape our elevator to our building didn’t work so taking luggage up and down for 5 ppl was miserable. Hot water in our room you had to crank all the way to the hottest setting and wait for it to even got warm enough to shower, the phone didn’t work. We checked in early we were supposed to get a text when our room was ready instead I was waiting back in a very long line after the 4 pm check in to see what happened. Bus loads of ppl camps etc just way too busy. We only slept there and found other activities for a couple days. When we told the front desk my husband listed all of this off and the only thing she picked up on was that the water park was down she didn’t even listen to what we were trying to explain. My kids first trip to FL and we had a beautiful Airbnb decided to stay two extra days and we most definitely picked the wrong hotel for those days will never go back.

Fun place to stay with teens. You do have to bring your own basketball for the court and be sure to make a reservation for the Flowrider.

Room was big and had a good layout, but needed some updating or fixing, some wear and tear on the room noticeable. Did not like that We had to pay so much for parking. We did like how close it was to the Disney parks. Couldn’t use the waterslides due to thunderstorms, but the rest of the amenities indoors were nice to have.

Literally everything is wonderful and onsite you literally don’t have to leave the resort the movie theatre is in the resort the show room where the karaoke is and shows are is on the property the water parks are phenomenal there are 2 of them the pools are great hot tubs , the rooms are wonderful and there are a lot of things around maybe 1-2 miles off the property as in dollar tree chick fil a Wendy’s McDonald’s mini golf Duncan donuts Walmart and many more stores it is phenomenal please choose them you won’t be disappointed and there are plenty of eatery in the resort also and not expensive I absolutely will be returning

Parking charges are crazy high. Can’t get coffee or anything till after 7. Very confusing to find room with not a ton of help from staff

bed are filled with hair on blankets, king size bed had pee stains on sheets and mattress, room smelled like urine, you can see the urine stained sheets, the entire waterpark was not open which was a bummer, you have to pay extra fees for property, and parking.

The hotel has a lot of amenities. We loved the wave rider and water slides. However there was a lot of maintenance underway that was really inconvenient. The elevator near our room didn’t work so we had to walk up and down 5 flights of stairs regularly, the bathrooms at one of the pools was closed which was highly inconvenient and a major portion of the kids water park was also closed.

I think over all what this place has to offer is great but the condition needs some serious work. You absolutely need to check the beds before you lay in it. One of our mattress was completely soiled in urine. Seems like the cleaners just went in and redid the bed with the same sheets because the entire bed smelled! They did try to make it right and gave us a new room but that just shows the lack of cleaning but in doing so our room had different furniture and some accommodations missing. So not all rooms look the same. Bathroom light lags after flipping switch, toilets flush extremely loud so heads up lol. There was no ice machine on the second floor, elevator did not work, renovation seems to be happening on the restrooms by the pool restricting some access. This place is ok if you are staying just for a night or two.

Let me just say, this hotel is cool, but the staff is what makes it great. One of the few places where customer service is still going strong. When we checked in we arrived a couple hours early they had a room available for us to check in which was super convenient after our long drive, also he wished me a happy mother's day and gave me a voucher for two free drinks at the bar. The flowrider was so cool, the water slides were awesome. The only complaint we had and it's just gonna make us come back so we can try it, was one of the kids water slide activity areas was under construction or cleaning during or stay and our 4 year old was bummed because obviously it looked so cool, but the positive side they did have the two other slides at the other side of the hotel open, and there was a little toddler splash pad area, as well as the two pools. They have different food options in the marketplace, a coffee bar, the movie theater playing movies all day, an activity schedule for kids, and I think I saw two arcades! The room was big, and our daughter thought the bunk beds were so cool!

Pool and room was ok but I'am dissapointed for lack of clear communication between expedia and hotel, I pay 200$ for less than 14 hrs of hotel, I arrived at 6:00 pm and anybody told until pay for, that the water park close at 7:00pm so I did'nt enjoy nothing! and the check out was at 10:00 am as well. I ask for late check out and was impossible they said and the hotel was empty. So I feel that I waste my money. Plus they charge me 70$ for parking and taxes and expedia platform said it was 48$ so I dont understand

So much to do in one place! From the food, to the waterpark, amenities and so close to all the areas we were visiting! I would book again.

The shower light dripped all day when we arrived. We were on the first floor! No telling where the water was coming from. Two people in a two bedroom unit and they barely gave us a towel each and a washcloth apiece. The tv channels kept going out! Looks nothing like the pictures.

Spent four nights with my 6 ylo we did Disney. The stay was close to Disney and so amazing. Staff were friendly and efficient. The waterpark/pool area is great for kids and adults. My daughter wanted to leave Disney to come back to the hotel! I want to gatekeep this place we loved it.

Our room was clean . The door to the refrigerator was facing the wrong way so it was difficult to utilize. But unfortunately we were not made aware of the “ water park “ slides that was the selling point for my grandsons to enjoy during our stay was not open or operating the whole weekend. The pool was absolutely disgusting. Hair lots of hair floating and Stuck in the side drains . Cups and straws floating. There was a build up of brown greasy substance on the tile around the pool . The ground / rubber type flooring was littered with trash debris, toilet paper parts in the kiddie splash zone area and the only slide open for toddlers possibly up to 8 years old was being used by all ages that made it unsafe for the little ones to use . The pool chairs were ripped and stained . And a strong odor of a sewage type smell would waft through the kiddie pool / splash pad area . With all the pool / kiddie pool area rules clearly listed on the extra large sign , no one was enforcing them or following them . It is definitely not worth the value . We will not return . With the $31.00 per day for parking and the $39.00 per day resort fees you could stay on Disney property with much better maintained pools and grounds .

I recommend if you’re gonna stay at a hotel I recommended to pay directly to the hotel or try Travelocity

We stayed in the building 7. 2nd floor. No elevator and no Ice Machine. Stairs looked dirty. The water parks slides area was close and I don’t got a notice about that. Towels in the pool area was limited and I have to use the room’s towels..

First and foremost, the staff is very accommodating; the property is centrally located and close to everything; and the amenities alone are worth staying for. We really didn't need to leave for any reason if we didn't want to. The rooms were okay. We had a two-bedroom, and one of the bedrooms had a bunk bed that my 9-year-old loved. My only complaint is that we requested a wheelchair-accessible room, but it felt as if no one had considered it from the perspective of someone in an actual wheelchair. My mom lives her life in her chair, so the microwave being up on a top shelf, the body wash dispenser being locked away high on the wall, the shower head being fixed and facing away from the accessibility seat in the shower, or the doorways not being wide enough—all make things uncomfortable and unnecessarily so. If your hotel room only has 75% accessibility for people with disabilities, that can make a huge difference to someone trying to be independent while on vacation. If we had known, we would have chosen another Hilton location.

The bed is the best we’ve slept on in a long time at a hotel. The bathroom didn’t seem clean, might be that it just needs updating. But the floor looked dirty. The flooring in the living room area is really damaged or evidence of sub par work of whoever installed it.

Upon check in room wasn’t ready, check in at 4… arrived at 430… and after driving for 4 hours, planned whole day, for room to not be ready was frustrating… then they put me in a smaller room and I was charged extra, felt like a tactic, they corrected by moving me to my original room, with a 25$ refund Super busy… full occupancy… Pleased No blow dryers in the room, so bring a blow dryer 😳 Everything else was great! Food, coffee, pool, Waterpark, staff Can’t wait to go back !!

A hotel should provide a safe and sanitary environment for its guests, and this clearly did not meet that standard. I strongly urge management to thoroughly inspect and treat the rooms to prevent this from happening to other guests. I hope this issue is taken seriously and resolved immediately.

Check inn was 4 and room wasn’t ready until 8pm. I was told they would wave my parking fees but that was not done. When arriving to room the carpets were soaking wet. The thermostat was set to 70degrees F but the room never once reached below 77 which was very stuffy and uncomfortable to sleep in. Overall room was clean. The staff was friendly. The pool was very clean minus the dying / sick raccoon by the kiddie pool but staff did handle situation professionally and safely. Won’t be booking through Expedia again. Prices are very deceiving and unreliable. Was hit with unexpected fees a day before check in.

Me my daughter and her dad went for 4 days and all I can say is that wow I enjoyed it so much. They upgraded our room without us asking and it was directly in front of the swim area nice view: the entire staff was helpful as ever. Room was super clean and we had ball. Can’t wait to return.

You literally only get 30 minutes the whole time you’re there so not worth it if you asked me and then a little bit of rain they shut everything down and the staff was so happy about it kind of rude. If you ask me as soon as how were the ones spending money.

There were lots of amenities because of the water slides and pools. Our room had ants and it. A lot of ants. There were some on the bed and then from the bathroom into the little futon room. The bed didn't have a ton so we didn't complain. We just cleaned it up. There was also a stain across the sheet. The parking fee was very high and I do not feel that Expedia did a good job highlighting it otherwise I would not have chosen this hotel in the first place.

My Daughter and I came for a cheer competition. We had the best time at the pool in the waterslides. The water surfing was for 30 minutes twice a day for free with the package we got and she absolutely loved it. When we were there, I do not think that the restaurants staff at the pizza restaurant was prepared for the amount of people that were there that weekas they’ve messed up our order two nights in a row, but everything else was amazing.

Room was digusting, bed sheets, comforter and pillow sheets all had different color stains. Wood floor broken. Glass mirror stained. Took an hour for room service to come in and change sheets late at night.

I’d give it a 3.5 out of 5. The room was clean and I liked the bunk bed and decor in the room for the kids. I didn’t like the fact that I was put on a high floor with a broken elevator without a heads up before booking. It was inconvenient to have to use other elevators then walk across multiple hallways with 4 kids. There was some remodeling being done which obviously didn’t look the best. For example when using building 3’s elevator you get to the top and there’s a bunch of mattresses and box springs being stored where the ice machine is. I also didn’t love the surf board process. You have to schedule to use it online & it’s not simple- I thought I booked a slot for my daughter and it turns out I didn’t complete the process. It was a bummer she never got to try it. During check out the next day I discovered another waterpark I was never informed of. To my understanding that area was closed to construction but it turns out half of it was open- another missed opportunity. BUT overall it was okay/pretty good, maybe next time we’ll get to fully enjoy all the amenities.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel from the on site food options, the arcade, movie theatre, water park and play areas it was the perfect stop on our trip and our room was absolutely perfect! Will definitely stay again

Great family vacation spot.

Staff were not that attentive. Life guards in the pool area were not really paying attention. Had to switch rooms first night after traveling with kids in the middle of the night due to the Ac breaking. Second rooms was ok. Mini fridge barely worked. Main slides were under construction. A lot of construction hazards around the whole site. Will not be coming back to this hotel.

I only reserved this for my kids because of the water park the earliest you can check in is 4 PM but the waterpark closes at 7 PM so by the time you get through the check-in process, you don’t even have time to swim so they told me in the morning the kids would still be able to use the waterpark even though we had to check out come to find out the waterpark is being renovated so it’s not even working and when I called to the front desk. They brushed it off and told me basically to just use the regular pools that are working and dismissed. Me completely. Could’ve been a good experience completely disappointing never again.

The stay was exceptional! We booked out adventure tickets in advance however learned once we got there, there was more than enough for us AND the kids to do without leaving! Room wasn’t to bad but we had to call for hot water three times in the one week visit to be fixed , one of the hotel workers walked in our room without knocking when he realized we were there he shut the door and knocked. We also come back to our room about 430 and there was two female workers when we unlock the door when was sitting on the couch playing with her phone. The other one was working.

The water was cold in the shower 2/3 days during our stay. There were no wheelchairs. Room service walked in without knocking. Resort fees should be included in the advertised rate. Pokémon cards were beside the bed. Mysterious stains were on the cloth couch.

We got to the “resort” and we’re not aware that more than half of the waterpark was closed and/or under construction. The main pool was open but the slides were also closed. We also were charged way more than the amount disclosed left on our reservation due to “resort fee changes” from the time we booked to the time we arrived. Just very surprised we got charged more only to have more than half of our waterpark inaccessible. We picked this resort because we have kids solely to go to the waterpark. When I asked about it the person texting me said there were more amenities inside we could pay for. Also our room was not clean. Our socks were black after walking for a few minutes. The kids room smelled like poop and wasn’t vacuumed. Don’t know if we would be back.

Check in was great. I extended a day. I was actually thinking about extending one more day since our days spent were on the cooler side of the weather and we didn’t get to go to the pool. However an issue yesterday rapidly changed my mind about extending. I went to the front desk to ask for toilet tissue. The rep at the desk said they would be right over with the tissue. I waited about 30 minutes and still no one arrived with the tissue. I sent a text over because i needed to use the restroom and i was in my room so i didn’t want to go back over to the lobby. I sent the text at 4:22 pm asking about the tissue. I received a response at 4:24 saying someone is being sent up with the tissue. So i figured “ok i will go ahead and get on the toilet and one of my kids can just hand me the tissue once they arrive”. At 4:56 NO ONE had shown up with any tissue. So i text and asked if u send my son over to the office can he just grab a roll from them. I got a response at 5:03 saying “yes”. So i sent my son to the lobby and he was told “ok one moment” a moment which was over a 5 minute wait. So he spoke with another desk staff about the tissue and he was then told to wait that they will bring it over to him there in the lobby. He waited in the lobby a total of over 15 minutes JUST FOR TISSUE that i had already reached out to the about. So i spent an HOUR waiting on the toilet for tissue. After originally stopping by the desk around 4pm requesting it. An received tissue around 5:25 after.

I understood there is a pricey parking fee and resort fee per day, but they double charged me nonetheless.

Hotel is a Motel…. Old and in need of cleaning and refurbishing. 14 buildings so it was difficult to get around. Dirty stairwells, broken irrigation pipe spraying water over pathway. Broken elevators, one vending with ice was found on a ground floor over one building. Room smelled like bleach and chemicals which was toxic to my sinuses. Instant headache. I felt like it was crawling with bugs but didn’t see any. Got in after midnight so nothing could be done. Accidentally stopped in front of the wrong room the next day. My key opened that door. Immediately shut that door realizing that wasn’t ours. That’s just scary!!! Obviously the rooms are not secure. I booked hotel hurriedly ( without research) and was unaware of the 200.00 parking fee. Fees made room almost 300.00 a night for this dump.

Room was aged. no wash towels. found 2 hair clips a pair of reading glasses and a toy under my bed with God knows what else. vending machines stole my money. majority of waterpark you see on map hasnt been built yet. they have 2 slides and the wave rider which is cool. Random Karen lurking in parking lot accosting people. kinda hilarious if you have never seen one in the wild maybe check it out by the Lobby. No alligators. Definitely will not be back.

The staff was friendly however our room was severely neglected. Multiple issues which involved maintenance and engineering until 11pm on two separate nights. Broken things in room. Dirty feeling. Bed size not what we booked. All around bad experience in the room. Construction caused the water slide area at one of the two pools to be closed. Not a huge deal but would have been nice to know. Staff was friendly enough, pizza and breakfast were good enough. Unacceptable room condition. Will not be going back.

The hotel was under construction. Some of the amenities like the wavepools for kids and slides were not operational, and they didn't explain that on the website. Or when you checked in including elevators being down and construction, being down, it made it unbearable. For someone with a disability to walk around the resort plus for my grandchildren's birthday party. Having the kids amenities under construction without them letting you know, made everybody head of a terrible time. I am requesting my money back fully. And we'll never go back to that hotel again.

Way too difficult finding room. The map you get when you register is NO HELP at all. Spent about 1 hour or better trying to find my building let alone my room. Why isn't someone specific outside the lobby helping people? Maybe some type of gps system would be ok. I find there is no personal interest in your guest once you're through checking in!

Lack of organization from staff. We were put in an unclean room, then relocated to a different room. Housekeeping apparently doesn’t clean rooms on daily as we saw our room still as it was before we left for the whole day. After reporting a malfunctioning lock, for two days we still weren’t able to use our keys to open the door. Only after the third time of talking with the staff we were able to get a worker to fix it. Breakfast charges are higher than in restaurants.

Locking me out my building was not a good experience regaining access to the building after joining the park

Rob the bell hop was awesome !!! He really took the time to help me when I needed help. Lange and Ericka I believe for entertainment were a vibe ! They were awesome. Maria at the ice cream shop was awesome. The staff were very attentive and answered right away and followed up to make sure your request were answered. I wished they had hot tub and more entrance to water park area to more areas. The price was affordable ! They should offer better breakfast packages instead of per day paying per adult. Everything else the amenities were spot on ! They offered shuttle service but not to universal which sucked ! It should be offered to all parks . The rooms were cleaned, the dressers were more older had a little damage but nothing to major. They offered other food options but door dash was still available. A plus they had a microwave and a mini fridge in all rooms ! Overall I would go and stay there again. The front desk and everyone else were very helpful.

The room was somewhat dated, but it looked like certain areas were being remodeled. It was a good-sized King Suite. The front desk personnel were excellent. However, the bar & grill area was terrible. We waited 15 minutes to get drinks at the bar one night and 5 minutes to be seated at the restaurant the next, and left both times they were not busy. Close to the theme parks and Disney Springs. As a older couple not a great place to stay if by yourselves , but we had family there. Lots of screaming kids. Good thing they close pools down at 9pm, then it calms down.

The first two nights were awful because we were woken up at 5am with the construction going on. We ended up getting our room moved and they said just pack everything and we will move everything for you and that never happened. We couldn’t access our things upon returning despite being told it would be in our new room. They said they were getting someone to move it right away. After waiting over an hour we called the front desk to ask where our things were and said they were getting someone. Ummm hellooo that was over an hour ago. It made us late for dinner. The new room was okay..no shower liner, toilet holder was broken. We got one night of good rest, that was it. Stilll waiting to be reimbursed resort fees. Everything fells like a lie here. We came here for my daughter’s competition and family fun and it was anything but that. Oh..they also never gave us wrist bands for the pool and had to go retrieve those. Completely unorganized!! Out of all the vacations I’ve been on in my life this was by far the worst!

The bathroom floor was dirty. The villa had a twin beds for our kids but we were only able to use 1 bed because the other one kept tipping over it was unsafe for kids to use. They didn’t put enough towels in our room. It was okay. Paid too much for it!

Hotel was very loud, sounded like people bouncing off walls all night and stomping on floors. Elevators were extremely slow.

We took a weekend getaway, something I hadn't done in a long time. I chose the hotel based on reviews, but from Friday to Saturday we were woken up at 5 am by the noise of construction outside our room window. We didn't sleep at all; it was very noisy, with workers talking and machines mixing cement, people carrying iron bars. I won't be back. If we had known the hotel would be under renovation, I would have chosen another one.

No water pressure from the shower at all! Water dribbled out. Cable TV was horrible. Safe did not work. Restaurant was closed most of the week. Not an ideal place for someone who has no vehicle. I felt trapped and had to end my stay 5 days earlier than I had planned. Had to book another hotel and left halfway through my stay.

The rooms were ok and spacious for its price given that they have their own waterpark and arcade as well, I think the only major problem is that the heater on our last day did not work, and the house keeping forgot to lock our room when they clean/give a new sets of towels, when we came home at night it was open but nothing was missing and we did not have time to complain cause we are very exhausted and since it was our last day we just let it pass. But yeah our room locks has some problem. With regards to staffs they were all nice specially Maria D from the dinning.

This hotel looks nothing like the pictures. I requested a room switch as soon as I arrived. The young lady I spoke with had a nasty attitude. Although the housekeeping manager, Jason, did move me to a different room, it still smelled of bleach, and the bed sheets were still dirty. There were stains on the curtains and pillows. If I hadn't come to Orlando to visit the amusement parks and had relied only on this resort, I would have been really upset. That wasn't even the worst part. I was met by the concierge, who offered "gifts" for staying at the hotel. They didn't mention all the facts and ended up in a 90-minute timeshare presentation that was introduced as a new resort being built, and we were told to check it out. I wasted 3-4 hours of my day telling multiple people that I did not come here to buy a timeshare. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Everything was on point. Room was clean and warm. They brought extra blankets in a reasonable amount of time. Staff was friendly. Quick and easy check in and check out.

Staff was courteous, check in was a bit of a wait because only had one person checking in until we located someone letting them know they needed assistance. Room was clean but shower leaked and door didn’t fully close or lock. Room was cleaned and trash taken out and dirty towels picked up but towels not replaced without a request. Plenty of options for children from pool to daily activities.

There was a party going on right beside your room until midnight. They then left and came back at 2am and continued to be loud for another hour. I had two kids trying to sleep as we had to get up early in the morning for a flight. The doors and walls are paper thin!!!. I called the front desk twice about the noise. And nothing happened. They didn’t do anything about it. Will not stay here again. And wouldn’t recommend. The only positives are the water slides,pool and flow rider. Other than that the hotel needs a massive makeover.

Friendly staff (aside from mainly Spanish speaking), room was clean and well kept. Overall good experience aside from dining experience at the pool restaurant (served us raw chicken burgers twice) to makeup for it we received a full refund & free dinner at the main dinner restaurant which was nice. Good luck trying to get in the hot tub which was packed full of kids everyday of the week, not much for kids to do on a not so warm day as the only “waterpark” feature left for little ones spray cold water.

The stay was much better than at the Disney resort. More privacy, easier access, better service, and more control. The laundry facilities were much closer, and the food was better!

Great water park but didn’t like the “extra” fees, resort fee and parking fee in a parking lot that is open to anyone, you have to walk a lot to park next to building 8 cause there is a construction site and the parking is closed in an area next to bldg 8. In resort fee and parking add another 50 plus usd a day!

Staff were all friendly. Needed more attention by cleaning staff. We did not get regular white towels, instead towels from the pool side. Trash was taken out late at night around 7pm.

When I got there, there were extra fees that I was not told. I was supposed to pay a $117 for parking, and then my keys for my room did not work on the second day. And I went back down to fix it, and it still wasn't working. And it was cold outside. Customer service is horrible

More outlets in the rooms would be good. There’s not enough to plug in the clocks and lamps in the rooms. The lamp cord was actually stretched across the bed to plug it in which is neither safe nor convenient.

Location In fact, it is around 20 minutes via car to Disney Spring and around 25minutes to Universal City Walk and Universal theme parks. Uber rides to these cost around $25 - $35 depending on time but it is easy to get a uber due to loafs of uber in the general area.There is a 7/11,Walmart,Ross,Publix, cvs and tjmaxx within a 5minute drive also. Breakfast/ Restaurants on Property Breakfast is $25 per person and Kids under 12 eat free with a paying adult. This was not affordable for me because it would cost me $100 per day for breakfast alone.I just went and got groceries since the rooms have microwaves

Somehow they run out of bath towels for our room and beach towels at the waterpark/ pool areas so please pack your own or go to Walmart and get some.

If I could give a negative rating, I would. Room service & housekeeping:** Rooms are only cleaned about once every 5 days, which is far from acceptable for a party of 6 staying in one room. Towels and other basics were in short supply, despite repeated requests. Amenities & maintenance:** No hot water in the room. The in-room coffee machine was broken and replacement issues persisted. The elevator wouldn’t reach our floor, making the experience inconvenient and time-consuming. Pool & resort conditions:** The pool area is shaded, and the water was freezing, making it unusable for enjoyment. Check-in experience:** At check-in, there was no information given about the room number, building, floor, or how to locate the room on the resort’s layout. This led to confusion and a lot of wasted time. Aggressive sales pressure:** We were repeatedly approached by staff trying to sell timeshares, which felt intrusive and detracted from the stay. Overall impression:** Given these issues, I would not stay here again.

Was disappointed in multiple things though liked may things as well. Communication amongst the different departments there was horrible. For example was told pool and hot tub was open till 10pm each night by guest services and the life guards closed it at 9pm each night. Have many other communication issues if at some point you’d like more. There were never any pool towels. Had a hard time getting some one to fix toilet that backed up. Asked about were we needed to go to for 3am chexkout and was told lobby and then as I’m there they had a sign that said I need to go to overnight spot in marketplace which was on opposite side of the hotel which was an inconvenience as we were trying to get to the airport to catch a flight. Staff especially at the Chinese and Mexican place there were outstanding. There was a young lady who was the best and so friendly and polite.

The room was in ok condition it does need to be updated. I had family staying in upper floors and their rooms were more updated than mine which was on the first floor. We were also placed by porta potties and asked to be moved and were never moved and they didn’t follow up. We were so busy that eventually we just stayed put. The resort itself like the pool and water park were great but they never had towels.

The cleanness of the room was bad. It was dirty. There was no ironing table, and the safe is not working. And no one did nothing about it.

Bottom line is management has no idea what their staff is saying/doing & vice versa. Day one: check into our room, seems okay, drop our stuff & head to the pool. We come back from the pool & find water seeping up through the floor, water running down the wall, into the outlet of which is making a sizzling noise, as well as the smoke detector hanging out of the wall. We request to move rooms, told a bellman will come get our things & move to a new room- that person never shows, so we move ourselv

I was not pleased at all with this resort/hotel. Initially upon check in and going to our room there were no towels. When I reached out they informed me that they had run out and was waiting on a shipment there next morning. Well that turned into 2 days. That was very frustrating. The shower liner was also not cleaned well and the TV was not an updated TV; the channels kept skipping in and out. Overall a very bad experience.

Called the front desk three days in a row to get my room cleaned and no one showed up. Expedia sold me a room and when I got there it was a mistake and they asked me to pay almost $800 CAD more if I wanted the room I had booked. To get fresh towels and bedsheets I had to go and get them myself. AC was broken, no phone to call front desk. Only person who made us feel welcomed was Rob the person helping us with our luggage. Thank you Rob!

Nice experience to stay , we don’t have any problems the room was clean and we got no chance to use the water park cause it was so cold, I will recommend 100% and Jovel the valet guys was so helpful for giving us more more information how to checkout.

TV channels were very slow to change, and loud kids’ pool events during the day could be heard throughout the room, making it unsuitable for anyone working remotely. We were also told there was an amazing water park, but it was completely under construction when we arrived. I would not stay here again.

Heated pool was a plus! Everything was great until I had to request towels 3 times and didn’t receive them until my last night. We are a family of 5 amd we received 3. I ended up wash towels on the resort so we could have enough towels.

The rooms were very clean smelled great. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Outside was clean. Parking wasn’t great but overall it was an enjoyable experience.

The rooms srunk like marihuana. I called rhe fromt desk they offered change rooms but as soon as we walked out of the room there were three men standing right outside our door smoking . I did not feel safe walking down the isle with my kids

When we checked in, the agent was lovely. But it ALL went downhill from there. We were NOT advised of check out time the next day. The sheets had black dirt specks on them in the small 2nd room. ( everything else WAS clean). There are no instructions on how to call front desk or when and how to check out. Standard check out time is normally 11AM, but we tried calling from room and guessed by pressing “0”, but not answer. So we went to get breakfast while calling on our cell. We had to call 3 times before we finally got the front desks. Each time a 15 minute hold. When I got an agent, he was EXTREMELY RUDE as I told him we needed extra time as it’s impossible to get ahold of them to see what time check out was and to extend our time. He repeated to me that we could not extend Check out time & had to do that earlier. I prefaced that we tried multiple times & my husband eve went and stood in the line in lobby but the line wasn’t moving. So I explained we just paid $50 for breakfast and there was NO WAY we would be able to check out in 30 minutes. He the told me checkout was 30 min PRIOR and I should’ve called earlier! I told him I tried multiple time!!! Not sure if he just wasn’t listening or didn’t care. And pls beware. The give you washcloths for pool towels. You may want to bring your own. What a horrible experience. Will not go back to this hotel.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn was good! The room set up was perfect for our family with little kids. The main bedroom had its own door and was separate from the living area and other bedroom so we were able to put the kids to sleep and th adults stay up without waking them. The bathroom is definitely outdated and the tub faucet was broken. We had to hold the tub faucet until the tub filled up or else it would fall down to the hottest setting becuase it was so loose. The TV is also very outdated and there were no streaming services available. The kids splash area was very cold and since we were there in December it was way too cold for the kids to play in, but the pool was heated and perfect! There was a lot of construction going on so the water slide pictured is not available at the moment.

Before booking for a last minute stay we wanted to double check if we could check in early @1pm we didn’t mind paying. We got there and got told otherwise waited over an hour, it was 3pm I spoke with a manager and she handled the situation well. We checked in. We were unaware that the main waterpark slides were down for reconstruction which made us highly upset because we didn’t see it anywhere on the website. The other side with the 3 watersides and surf board was okay. And also my thing is people with handicapped parking decals really shouldn’t be paying $30 per night for parking atleast half that price but hey whatever. Our room wasn’t all that cool in the middle Of the night we all Woke up Hot for some reason even with the air on 69 . Water didn’t get all that for showers and the bar at the pool we only ordered two drinks and paid $43 which still isn’t sitting right with me. NO BLEACH SMELL in the room, furniture in the 2nd room to put stuff on, the correct amount of towels in the room for the amount of people staying, Pool towel supply at the pool available and being told sorry we don't have anymore the truck did not arrive, door knobs that don't fall off, a phone in the room to contact the front desk instead of having to call on our own cell by logging into your website, irons that are not dirty and ruin your clothes, Bedding available in the room for the pull out couch bed instead of having to call and wait for the bedding to arrive, instructions posted telling you how to work the fan lamp in the bedroom, A tv in the front room with a remote that works the TV without having to stand 24" inches in front of the TV and be able to sit on the couch and change the channel (this was after they brought us a 2nd remote because the one that came with the room did not work at all).

Room was clean but beds were awful not comfortable and didn’t like that our room was right next to the water park. We arrived early and had to wait a hour but they never contacted us that our room was ready we had to keep inquiring after they said they would call. Good location for what we needed to do

Unfortunately our trip was not as magical as we had hoped for for the holidays. My family spent 5 days at the resort and we continuously did not have hot water. We reported the issue to front desk and was advised on 3 separate occasions that someone would be up within an hour to fix the issue. So we stayed in our room for over 4 hours waiting for help only for no one to show up and when we went back to the desk they said the maintenance man marked it as completed. Not only that. What was worse was our fitted sheets had blood and brown stains on them (I have photos of this as well). We ended up having to repack our 5 kids and move to a different room.

This hotel was a 10/10 I would highly recommend! This resort literally has everything you really don’t have to the resort for anything. It looked exactly as pictured plus had other activities that wasn’t listed. My favorite was the movie theater that showed Christmas movies.

The room was very clean and the beds were super comfy I just wish the twin beds had an extra pillow. My service was great Andres was such a sweetheart and very professional. I unfortunately didn't get a chance to try the breakfast, or get to checkout the resort. But it looked like fun!

Best value foe families in Orlando.

The whole staff was super nice and accomodating. The kids had fun just staying at the resort with the Flo Rider, arcades, movie theater, hot tubs and heated pools with slides. It was fantastic. And we loved the staff so much!!

It was truly fine. There were no huge slides and water park area unless it is under construction. They don’t tell you that on top of the $28 resort fee for said water park etc, that there is a $30 per night parking fee. Very expensive so when the price looks good plan to add an additional &58. Room was fine for the get away that we needed.

We love bringing our grandkids to your resort. They always have a blast. The only improvement I can suggest is more hot water. That seemed to be an issue in the morning when we wanted to take showers.

Very dirty floors and scary dirty looking linens

Room was smelly and fire alarm kept going off at 10pm when we were all asleep. We were woken up and scared ran out to make sure we were safe and there was no one anywhere. I tried contacting the front desk from the room phone but was unsuccessful as it was dead. After about 3 attempts, from my cellphone, front desk finally answered and had no idea a fire alarm was even triggered and never sent anyone to check it. After it went off the second time and completely freaking my entire family out of sleep, I called again and insisted that someone comes and checks it out. They sent an engineer that didn’t speak a work of English so could not answer any of my questions. He left and came back with a battery for the smoke detector. Changed it and said it’s fine. At this point I called again and demanded an explanation as to why it was triggered in the first place and the front desk told me that I must have been cooking something to set it off. So I said it would be impossible as we were all asleep and there was no cooking stove or any other cook g devices in the room. So they said sometimes a hot shower steam will set it off but again I explained that we were all sound asleep when it happened. They told me there is nothing to worry about to just go back to sleep. I did not feel safe and my children were panicked and wanted to go to another room or building. We went to the front desk and I was told that if we weren’t happy we like leave and go somewhere else. So we did.

This is my second time staying at the Holiday Inn resort Orlando suites. I actually love this resort because there is so much to do for the entire family. It is also minutes away from so many other fun activities and restaurants. We were also really close to Universal Studios.

The staff was nice but nothing at the resort was working so they should have reduced or canceled the resort fee. All the water slides online were gone except 3 that they closed at 6pm when check in is at 4. Thats ridiculous. My kids were very disappointed from the pictures I showed them online. Looked nothing like the online pictures. Most of the restaurants were closed also. Surf rider was broken. Very dosappointed & will be writing to return my resort fee.

Lots of construction outside of the hotel, lots of ants in the room, restaurants were closed inside, sales man trying to sell resort packages every time you come into your hotel. Had to pay for parking.

There was a ton of construction half the pool was not available. 2 days we were there there were no pool towels available. The deck chairs were moldy. The marketplace was half empty, there was bo selection. The breakfast buffet was overpriced for the food that was available. On check in the lobby was impossible to find and you had to drive through a haze of marijuana smoke to get to it. The bed sheets were too small for the mattresses we had to re make the bed after every use. The coffee maker cord was not even long enough to be made use. When you book it says there is a fee on check in and when you do check in it is double what the website told you.

Lock was faulty. The room keys didn’t work and we had to wait in the corridor for 10 mins, until a technician let us in which seemed like a long time after a long Disney day, then he had to keep the door open and fix the lock. The shower curtain was torn n taken down but the maintenance staff just left it on the couch. Long walk from check in to the room.

Added hidden fees of $29 for parking. This fee didn't show up while booking. After showing employee hotel listing on Expedia, they couldn't find the be listed. After getting with hotel manager, they found a text description of the fee under amenities. They are lowering the price for 3rd party booking sites just to add this fee in later. Rooms are definitely showing their age. Half the restaurants were under construction. Water at slide was freezing as the heater wasn't turned on. Surfing area was turned off. Kid area with large slides in pictures was blocked off as they were tearing it down.

I booked this hotel based on the waterpark and slides. When I arrived I was told they were currently down. No big deal, we will swim in the pool and go on the slides when they are repaired. Come to find out a few days later, they were completely removed! If you can change your hotel, do it! This hotel needs A LOT of work! It feels very run down and dirty. The flooring in the room was a laminate floor, that moved every time you stepped on it. I am not normally picky but I will never stay here or another Holiday Inn every again. Most of the staff were nice and doing multiple jobs. There is only two restaurants. The others were closed. One pizza place and the other a sit down restaurant. The food was terrible. Even the buffet for breakfast, bland and hard food. The hotel felt outdated and deserted. They have recently changed their picture on the website to not include the waterpark. They should have let customers know so that they could have made alternate arrangements.

We were switched into another suite the 2nd night, it was much better than the first, there were actually cabinet doors under the sink, and by the fridge, so it looked much more put together. Movie theatre and one restaurant was closed or under construction. 3 entrances were blocked off, we had to move cones to get into parking lot. The stay was ok, breakfast was great and we’d stay again, in hopes that the stay will be as pleasant as we had 4-5 years ago.

Housekeeping stole 2 pair of Levi jeans from my room

Room service. We called and called and called no answer. Yet when we called with our cellphones they answer. And when we told them we were calling from room their response was come to the front and walk over. Totally unexceptionable.

It was ok

The hotel is under renovation and there is very little activities for the kids, slides or places to eat. I have been going to this hotel since it was the Nickelodeon hotel and it was one of the best for kids and families in Orlando. It’s best to wait and go when the renovations are over and see how they come out to stay here.

Room had a lot of good storage. A little beat up but overall good. Unknowingly showed up and the the slides are gone and under a major renovation. They did not charge us the normal fee though due to that which was appreciated.

Some areas and things at the pool/lagoon are not open or shown as advertised on the website. At the new slide water park, there was no way to enter the pool area. There were only exit areas. The staff and lifeguards watched us with our children walk all the way around the pool looking for a way to enter. No one offered to help or open a door to get to the new pool areas. Fellow parents and guests were opening doors for people. Until we walked into the check-in marketplace to ask for help, no one office to helps. As a business owner, this was poor customer service experience. - not friendly staff, they obviously weren’t happy to be there and didn’t realize they are employed in a customer service area, expect the pool areas.

Hey, do we have ice in my building? We only have ice and two of the buildings during my stay. The room was clean. The grounds had construction work happening. The staff was nice. Check-in was a little tough because it was so loud. You could barely hear yourself talk. I had to check in at a different spot because the main check-in was closed at that time (5:00pm) that I check-in. The water park was not open once we got to the hotel. Luckily I did not pay to have the waterpark. Parking price is a little pricey if it’s just a parking lot In my opinion. The walls are very thin. You can hear your neighbors. We did not have time to eat the breakfast.

Very dirty

I chose this Resort because of the included water park. Upon arrival I was informed the park was closed for maintenance. Secondly, when I was out to dinner I was contacted by the staff they needed to enter my room to check for a water leak. When I returned my shower had been disassembled and could not be used. The next morning I contacted the office to complain. They offered to arrange to let me use the shower in another unit. I got upset and requested to speak with a manager. After more than a half hour being bounced around, disconnected and ignored I finally spoke with a manager who grudgingly agreed to move me to another room. Again after an hours wait and repeated calls to the office a bellman came to move us to another room. The other room was on the opposite side of the resort with a view of the parking lot farthest from the pool I was told by management that the resort fees would be refunded. Despite numerous calls to the resort this has NOT been done nor have they returned ANY of my calls, texts or emails. I will NEVER return to this place nor will I EVER recommend it to anyone. I WILL warn anyone I speak with to stay the hell away from this RUDE LYING place.

It was clean. The last day there was an accident. The toilet in the bath tub was plugged all night too early morning, but they came to fix it when it was time for us to check out so we didn’t have time to take a shower cause we had to wait for the cleaning aid to come and clean the tub. We had a late checkout. I still haven’t gotten in my refund for a day.

I stayed with my family and kids, pool was nice, movie event was nice. Could of been better, pictures online dont justify what the actual location is, overall cant complain much price was right for what you get. I left something behind in the room, which i am still waiting a whole week to hear back. I had to fill out form in seperate webpage never heard back. Item was important i just wish someone would notify of me results. I am sure who ever found it in the room kept it. Just a bummer.

This Hotel was once a great place to stay. This trip, it was run down, construction everywhere, elevators that did not work, pool slides that needed maintenance and a lack of security for the property grounds.

The hotel was dirty and I asked for room service to come clean and they didn’t clean very well just made the beds and half of the hotel was closed . The food section was only pizza . Pool was dirty

We had to change rooms 2 due to the smell of mold in the first room. The second room had a huge plumbing issue with the pipe rattling so loud we could not take a shower. The 3rd room had a ceiling fan was pair to another rooms control and in the middle of the nigh the light would turn on multiple time due the room next door people turning it on. We could here all the interactions with the people next door and issues with the fan and lights.

Everything was nice and clean

Half the amenities were closed and they still charged a resort fee. All elevators but one were non-operational. Check in took an hour. Room was okay.

I booked this property for the water park and pool experience for my kids, and I proactively called + messaged to ensure my prepaid room would be ready early morning after our red-eye flight. We arrived around 8 AM, and the hotel made us wait over 3 hours just to get a room. The staff showed zero empathy, kept giving vague excuses like “housekeeping has not checked the room,” and showed no urgency at all. I had to literally keep going to the counter again and again while my family was exhausted. Then it got even worse: They dumped us into a tower where the elevator was not working, and our room was on the 5th floor. The water park (the entire reason we picked this hotel for our kids) was not operational. Even the swimming pool was closed when we tried to use it later in the day. None of these major amenity closures were communicated at booking. This stay was a complete disaster - misleading advertising, zero empathy, no transparency, and no accountability. I wasted hours of my vacation dealing with incompetence and indifference. I have lost trust in this property and honestly in the IHG brand after this. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Aside from a single front desk person and a few other employees who were nice in passing, the stay was atrocious. It was well over hour to get checked in and after waiting in that long line,

- Rooms outdated, toilet covers peeling, table falling off the wall, In the shower the shampoo was basically water, the body wash was lotion - Elevators super slow and at points would take you to the top floor and not open and take you back down. Also elevator tiles cracked. - Waterpark was closed due to construction. We were not notified ahead of time. We did appreciate a 50% discount due to this and commend that level of making it right. - Splash pad water was ice cold that the kids couldnt play in it, just the pool. - Only restaurant open in the marketplace was the Hide Away Cafe and Antoines Pizza. It showed on the website the mexican and asian restaurants were open and when we went there they were both closed and looked under construction. The Hideaway staff and food was great, they did a great job the two times we dined there and were very friendly. - We got house keeping one of the days and although they cleaned the beds and garbage they did not restock the towels and coffee. Had to call two separate times to get coffee and towels delivered to us. First time getting these things delivered to us in a garbage bag. Never seen that before. - People selling time shares need to be upfront. We were told something different then trapped.

The room was disgusting when we checked in. Counters where dirty with stuff stuck too them. The floors were peeling up from water damage and the room smelt of mold. To make matters worse, I reserve the room because it had a waterslide and waterpark in which I stated to the representative from hotels.com and upgrading my room as well as the people at the hotel but when I arrived upon my surprise for my son‘s birthday, the waterpark side of the hotel was completely closed. The whole reason we came there was for the waterpark and it was closed, so somebody could’ve told me that ahead of time when I was booking the room you could put on the website or something. Hey by the way, the waterpark is not accessible right now it’s under construction. I told my kid I was gonna take him for water slides, and we got no water slides. it was the worst weekend ever.

The waterpark was being repair, and the offer half of my admosion back. Nice gesture.

When we come back again to Disney World, we are 100% staying at this location again!!!!!! The waterpark, the pool, the staff, the amenities…. This place speaks family 100%!!!!!!!

The food court is amazing but nothing was open at all during our stay. We had to evacuate the building in the middle of the night due to someone pulling the fire alarm. Pretty rough night with kids. No hotel staff contacted us to confirm a false alarm. We all just decided to head back to our rooms. No apology or anything. The room was clean and spacious.

There where no ice machine on 3 floors heat us , no elevator for stroller was broken

The pool was kind of fun I took my son to spend his birthday and he had lots of fun

Cons: very confusing check in. Says renos but didnt see a reason the main lobby couldnt be used still. Long walk to rooms. Never had face cloth/hand towels for restock. The kitchenette would be great to have a toaster & kettle, bigger fridge. More blankets. Thinest lightest blankets, frozen lol. They did send more when asked. The week was peaceful, weekends got busy. Skip the timeshare "welcome" package and save yourself time and headaches lol bummed with it being their off season so the mexican ans chinese food was closed. Far to walk to places. Had to uber everywhere. The disney shuttle svhedule was free but limited. Half the time we had to uber.

The most alarming incident happened on the second night of our stay around 3 a.m. — there was loud, aggressive banging on our door. I immediately tried calling the front desk and security from the room phone for over 30 minutes with no answer. Out of desperation, I called from my personal phone, and only then did someone finally pick up. Because I couldn’t reach anyone for help, I had to call the police for assistance. This is a major safety concern. The fact that I couldn’t contact hotel staff during an emergency is unacceptable. After the horror of someone trying to break into our room we decided to cut our vacation short and checkout. The manager refused to refund us! I will never stay here again and strongly recommend others to avoid this hotel for their safety and peace of mind.

This was a horrible the elevator was not working we had to take toddlers and infants up 5 flights of stairs. The Waterpark is outdated the outside area is dirty and smells like dog and urine.
