    We arrived at 5:15pm and rooms were not available until 90 min later (and only available 90 minutes later because I complained at that time). Such a large delay in being able to get assigned a room made us late for the event that we came to town for/ were staying at the hotel for.

    We came into town for a concert; we waisted till 4pm to check-in once we made it to the desk they told us that unfortunately the rooms are not available yet and if could please wait and they will call us to notify; fast forward we waited 3 hours and others were too…they were not kind accommodating and not apologetic and not letting us know the real reason why us and others had to wait so long… we literally had to get ready in bathrooms and waiting areas…thankfully the concert itself was amazing and made us forget about the terrible situation at the hotel… probably will never ever stay there again.

    Standard check-in is at 4:00 PM. We arrived after 5:00 PM following a long day of travel in the rain, only to be told our room wasn't ready. We were placed in a queue and told it would be 20 minutes; instead, we weren't given a key until 6:30 PM. To make matters worse, the front desk completely messed up the queue, and we watched multiple parties who arrived after us get checked into their rooms first. Because of their extreme delay, three of us had to rush to shower and get ready for a 7:30 PM concert in under an hour. The location is perfect for events, but management seriously needs to fix their front desk operations. They promised to look into a refund, which is the bare minimum for ruining the start of our trip.

    The hotel was very nice. Had a smooth check in and the valet was great! We ate dinner at the hotel and met an amazing staff member, Unal! He made my mom and aunt’s birthday dinner amazing and full of laughs. We love Unal!

    Upon arriving I was greeted by George, who was awesome and so gracious as to tell me about the neighborhood and give me a map to the Kia Center and surrounding areas- Love it... I encountered Kayla the next day when I went down for drinks and then Jeffery when I needed silverware and a microwave the following day. I had an Awesome time in Orlando, I was there to celebrate my daughter's acceptance to Medical School and to support my son and his team at the Kia Center- which is why I chose the hotel for its close proximity. Everyone that I encountered was on point and the customer service was unmatched! Upon checking out I met and talked to Edmundo and he was delighted that we truly enjoyed the stay and all the team members were awesome.. * I will also like to thank the house man, the dynamic ladies taking care of the rooms and the young guys and young lady outside/ Valet they were awesome and made a great impression as well. I am grateful for the experience. I shall see you all hopefully in November for my birthday! Thank You All Sonia

    Close to bus hub, which made getting anywhere easily accessible. The restaurant staff would really ppleasant and helpful. The pastries had clearly been frozen, so were like eating stale bread. it would have been nice to have had a toaster oven to heat them. Cold water in the room fridge would be nice.

    Hotel was clean and I loved the bar and Starbucks downstairs in the lobby. I did not eat on property, but I did order room service one night and thought it was good. The hotel was close to everything I needed to get to. A walkable area and I felt safe. Only complaint would be that you can hear everybody and anything moving. From people talking in the halls and going in and out of their rooms. The doors could be a bit more quieter.

    The staff was nice and helpful. The room was fine and clean for the most part. Our shower leaked water on the floor and the hairdryer needed to be cleaned. The elevators were really slow. The football game crowd over whelmed the hotel restaurant so I wish management would have had more staff to handle the load better.

    My experience at this particular Marriott was horrible. I was sent to 2 rooms that were already occupied and walked in on people in the room. The third time they finally got it right. I was charged a bar bill that was not even mine and on top of that, was charged an additional $291 charge that I am continuing to fight a month later. The management has changed in these 30 days and now I'm having to file a case with the Marriott customer care department because I can't get through to an actual person who can help in Orlando. This would be the last place I ever chose if I needed a downtown Orlando hotel again.

    That they had a Starbucks downstairs It water don’t get hot after a certain hour. The room service is awful. In my bed there was a huge black stain. In the shower there was still hair from the person before. The hair dryer was sticky and full of hair from other people. The shampoo and body wash was empty.     This property was a loud one. The parking situation is insane. They have a parking lot on site they charge 20 dollars a night or allow them to park it for 30 a night. If you have a lot on sight do your guests a favor and just let them use it.

    Every time I was in the lobby, the front desk was empty. When I checked in, the staff member came from a back room. Nobody told me anything about the property, amenities or restaurants. I don’t even know if they had any restaurants. I was expecting more from the surrounding area. I was hoping to be able to explore the city a bit but there wasn’t much at all (that I found) within walking distance. Room was average but clean. Air conditioning barely worked and the shower head was broken. Overall, my stay was average. Definitely not what I was expecting from Marriott or for the price that I paid!!

    I went and spoke with the two women at the front desk and one of them asked the other to take care of and she said she wasn’t aware that the kitchen shut down early. She said she would ask but never did she was to busy talking to another male worker. Needless to say we weren’t able to eat. We were not they only group that couldn’t eat.     The property is not clean and dated. The best thing is that there is a Starbucks on site. But the signage is so bad and it’s behind the restaurant it’s hidden. So you don’t know it’s there. The gym is really bad. The belt on the treadmill I used was torn and made me trip. What a mess.

    I’ve stayed at a lot of Marriott properties. This one was my least favorite. Bathroom shower water wasn’t working that well. The bed was very hard and noisy very uncomfortable. The restaurant in the hotel food was very well made when dining in. But when we ordered for carry out it was really bad. When my husband went down to take it back he was told we couldn’t get a refund because the person working didn’t know how to do a refund. So he went to the front desk and was told the restaurant was a part of the hotel😡 I hope if we decide to stay here again things will be different.

    I was grateful it was within walking distance to the Kia Center. I was able to be early for my show and wasn’t too worried about the journey back to the hotel afterwards.

    Check in was not great. Had 2 rooms booked via cheaptickets. Connor at desk didnt have a solution for only 1 room showing. Had to ask for management or suggest him to get help. Ridiculous. All he had to do was volunteer that there were rooms available. He needs some customer service.training

    Most horrible experience ever from cleanliness to customer service. We complained about our blankets that were moldy and dirty and received a paper thin blanket in response. Told to wait for morning to speak with management, then in the morning was told management wouldn’t be in today.

    All people checking in were training. Gave wrong type room. Long lines to check in. Other management were observing and not helping. People were cutting the line and the staff said nothing even after “we” the line did.

    The shower was one of the worse experiences at a hotel. No microwaves in the rooms and it definitely didnt feel as clean at all. Definitely would not be staying here again. It is convient to the stadium and downtown.

    The rooms could definitely use some sprucing up and the exterior needs a good clean, but the staff was so wonderful. Our AC unit was making a weird noise and the engineer came. When that didn’t fix the problem they immediately moved us.

    Everything about the hotel was great. Just outside of the hotel (walk to venue) was sketchy to say the least. This is not a reflection of the hotel, more the area of homeless, thug a few blocks away.

    Nice hotel. Friendly staff/service. Room was nice. AC was limited in room. Couldn’t get room to a stable temp. Too humid. Shower was nice with wall sprayer and wand sprayer, some wear and tear overall in room but overall decent place to stay.

    Hotel was nice, food from the hotel restaurant was priced well and great! The rooms on the other hand were short of my expectations from Marriott. First room was dirty with spoiled food left in the fridge. The second room had a smell too and I woke up the next morning with irritated allergies. Bed was hard, pillows too soft. Just not a very good nights rest. I was up at 3am and left by 4.

    Arrived to drop off the car at the valet and the entire area smelled like marijuana. Some guys seemed to be arguing once we got there and was very rude. The room was a bit dirty and had to wipe down certain areas. Staff was alright. Not the experience we were hoping for but will say we will not be staying here again

    No matter where you went on the property it smelled of mold. There were even signs of previous water damage and the windowsills in the walls and on the floor. We had to be moved to time because the smell of mold too strong as well as water coming from underneath the floorboards.

    The room's decor was also dull, with muted grays and browns, again the appeal to the business traveler, however, a more vibrant decor would liven it up a bit The front desk staff were friendly enough, not overly. The restaurant staff did a great job of assisting me with my order, but the meal itself was lackluster. I had the shrimp quesadilla. It was greasy, the tortilla shell wasn't crisp and the shrimp were overcooked. I was underwhelmed by my stay here and for the cost, would likely have been just as satisfied in a less expensive sister hotel.

    Amazing stay at Marriott Orlando. Location is very convenient to walk to Camping World Stadium, Kia Center, Orlando Pride Stadium and Downtown. Also not to far to the airports and Kennedy Space Center or Disney, Universal. Super nice and kind staff!
