Clean quiet refreshing

This was the first time that we stayed at this property. We loved it. Everything was close and easy to get to. The pool is amazing! The only thing that I would say was not the best was the water pressure in the shower and it did not get warm at all. The room was also very warm. It was set to 65 and it was not that cool at all. My family likes the room very cold and we struggled both nights because it was warm. Those were the only two bad parts!

This place is AMAZING! So many things for the kids to do. The water taxi is convenient for going over to city walk and it runs early hours to late night. Food is also really good.

Jack 39 from UK with an 8 year old girl and a decent wife just visited this hotel for a week. Very clean hotel, rooms are decent even when standard. Pool and slide is unreal and plenty of lifeguards. Booze is on the pricey side but cant complain. Boat to universal is great and quick, also a ride in itself. You can walk to volcano bay which takes around 7mins. Bus to epic, right outside the hotel. Honestly epic wasnt great. Original parks are the goat. Anyway im rambling. Great hotel! If youre from the UK, book it.

My teenagers and I really enjoyed our stay at Sapphire Falls. The staff members we engaged with were friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean. The convenience getting to and from the parks and City Walk could not be beat. I would definitely stay here or at another Universal property, given our experience.

The poolside was amazing. The people at the front parking were very kind and made sure I always got into the right Uber. We loved the ferry ride to Universal it was easy. When we checked out they had extra charges on our account When I told them they were not mine they took them off right away. The Cafe had decent coffee that was easy to grab before heading out. The hotel smelled really nice. Overall a great stay and we would stay here again.

My stay started well but deteriorated to the point I left a night early. The best thing I can say is they refunded my last night. The property itself was nice but you needed to tap your keycard going everywhere in the hotel, this would be ok if it actually worked anywhere other than the room. I could not get into the pool and got locked out of the grounds after going to explore. I had the card changed and the new card also did not work. It is clearly a common problem as other people were climbing over the pool gate as their cards also did not work. On my first day someone dropped ice cream all over the ground in the lobby, that evening hours later it was still there. The security lock on my door did not work which was not ideal as a solo traveller. One of the two beds in my room seemed broken when I sat on it, as I was traveling alone I did not waste my time pursuing it. The boat to Universal was handy but the boats back seemed quite infrequent compared to other resorts. The driver of the bus to Epic Universe was unfriendly. I went to the Strong Water Tavern for a drink and a bowl of nuts was set infront of me. I have a severe nut allergy and needed to leave the area but was ignored by the staff when I was trying to get my drink bill to leave the situation. I am well aware nuts are common but had the staff simply asked if I wanted them I would have known the bar was unsuitable for me to be in and left. My toilet did not flush all the time. My stay was very disappointing

This was a lovely hotel. Very close to Islands of Adventure and Universal with a frequent water taxi to them and a bus to Epic Universe. Pool area was excellent for families. The only criticism is the limited children’s menu in the onsite eating areas with limited side orders available to increase vegetable options.

Was hoping for a lagoon view room as that's what I booked and they put me in a pool view room which we were told would be ready between 3:30-4 and we didn't get in our room until 4:30 and a trip to the concierge to check on our room. Room was ok, looked like they rushed to clean it though. Beds were very hard and both me and my wife's backs were hurting, but some people like stiff beds so it's a preference more then negative. Pool was nice but not sure if it was due to it being somewhat windy that the side bar closed early. Overall not a bad stay, but do wish it could have been better. Lobby is gorgeous. Not one person working there was rude at all.

I didn’t find a hair dryer in my room, that’s the only constructive feedback from my side … Everything else was awesome!

The rooms were comfortable, but they definitely feel a bit outdated, especially with the carpet flooring. A room refresh in the future would make a big difference. The restaurants and food on site were decent and convenient after long days at the parks. One of the best parts of the stay was the water taxi to Universal Orlando Resort. It was easy, enjoyable, and made getting to and from the parks much more convenient. Overall, a solid stay with great transportation access and a relaxing resort feel.

The staff is fantastically friendly and helpful (everyone really, but especially Syl)! The property is lovely, and the location is terrific for entering the park. We especially enjoyed the boat ride to the park. The restaurant food was delicious, and my daughter loved that there were lots of vegan choices. The pool was huge and beautiful, and I had never seen such a great exercise room. I would 100% stay here every time I go to Orlando!

I loved this hotel! I reserved a standard room, but when I arrived I was told at check-in that my room had been upgraded. I assumed they put me in a standard room with a view but I was surprised when I found out they had given me a suite with a kitchen, dining room and living room, as well as a second bathroom. This suite also had an extra large balcony! It was absolutely gorgeous! The staff were all excellent. All amenities, such as the beautiful pool, restaurants, gift shop…I enjoyed so much. The transportation to the parks and Citywalk are fantastic…by boat , shuttle bus or walking path. This was a wonderful place to stay.

Very well connected to the parks by boat for a 20 min journey going every 15 mins, or a level riverside walk of around 15 mins. Very impressive building. Nice pool facilities Spacious rooms. Helpful reception desk staff Not much to do in the hotel with kids during the evening other than sit around in the spacious lobby. Food and drink was super expensive and of average quality.

Had an excellent stay for the weekend. Just a boat ride or walk away from Universal and City Walk. Great pool area for adults and kids.

Pool closed due to weather - which is understandable; however, hotel understaffed to handle guests on property without the extra amenity available.

The rooms were very clean and you were able to get around universal studios. The parking amount was horrendous.

The room was in need of rehab. Damaged walls, cracking floor. The staff was overly friendly and very helpful.

The poolside cantina was awesome! My husband, our kids and I all enjoyed a low key but amazing dinner by the pool with yummy drinks! The bartender was great and even changed the channel of the poolside tv’s so he could watch a bball game he had been looking forward to seeing. Great atmosphere!

Clean but pretty average. No fridge, the hotel food options left something to be desired. Check-in was nice and front desk very helpful. Didn’t take advantage of bus or boat service to the parks though it is offered. The pool is gorgeous but you see a lot of abandoned trays of food sitting out in the sun next to the beach chairs and toys scattered all around

Room was clean and comfortable albeit small. Amenities were nice and clean. Even on the busier days we could always find good pool chairs. Food ranged from being good to just okay, a little bit expensive for what it was, but overall we enjoyed it. Overall 10/10!

At over $500/night this hotel fell far from expectations. The room was very average, much like any Hampton Inn. The landscaping around the outside wasn’t well maintained with dead palm trees and no flowers. The restaurant had an extremely limited menu of mostly fast food options and was overpriced. We all expect to get ripped off in Orlando, but this was nuts. My bed wasn’t even made every day! I’ve stayed at Loews in several states, this one is simply not good enough for the name.

We've stayed at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort several times now and each time was as dare I say 'magical' as the last. We love the quick boat ride into the park and even just days at the pool. We'll be back.

Rooms are clean and staff were nice. I would categorize this as a value resort based on amenities and activities. There are limited activities at the resort.

Third time staying at Sapphire falls and I'm sure we'll be back again! Probably the best smelling lobby I've ever been in 😂 I miss it already.

The perfect location to be in the heart of all things UNIVERSAL STUDIOS. This a must stay resort perfect for all ages. We will be back!!!

We loved the water taxi and garden walk options to CityWalk. The food was very good/excellent. We appreciated the quicker, less expensive grab-and-go food and drink options at the New Dutch Trading Co as well. The Caribbean-themed resort was fun and lovely. The room was cleaned and replenished every day. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The pool and hot tub were great. Towels were always available. Ordering and receiving food poolside was quick and easy. Unfortunately some areas of the grounds were in poor shape (brown plants and tree leaves) apparently due to the recent cold spell in February but we soon got over it because almost everything else was in excellent condition. Our room showed some signs of wear and tear like marks on the walls and some aged caulking in the bathroom area. Our clothes iron’s retractable cord didn’t work so we had to ask for it to be replaced and it was on the same day. A large water feature with a water wheel and falls was out of commission during our 7 day stay. It looked a little unsightly. Upon arrival we found ourselves a little underwhelmed as we were comparing this resort to Cabana Bay which we stayed at last year and really loved but with each passing day we liked Sapphire Falls more and more. 8.5 out of 10.

I only had a one night stay, however this resort was beautiful and I wished we had more time at Universal’s Loews Sapphire Falls Resort. It was perfect in every way. The outdoor pool area was large and beautiful, rooms spotless and the staff so helpful and accommodating.

Comfortable room, great customer service, great location across the road from Cabana Bay and Aventura hotel. Beautiful grounds and gardens. Walking access to Royal Pacific, Hard Rock and City Walk. Great pool area with fire pits when temperatures were low. Excellent pool staff and bar service.

Everything was great except for the long wait in line to get the boat back to the hotel. I think they could have put one more boat in the rotation to shorten wait times.

Room was clean, staff was great location of hotel amazing. Only reason for 4 stars room we got 1206 was right next to a staff cart storage. First night around 2am someone came crashing through the door with the cart thought they were in our room. Complained then the rest of the time you can still hear the fumbling noise.

Check in was easy. Rooms were beautiful! Staff across the property were friendly and helpful.

The only let down was the single vanity unit in the bathroom area. Two sinks would've been ideal as a family of 4 sharing.

This is the second time my husband and I stayed at Sapphire Falls Resort and our time spent here was fantastic! The convenience of the water taxi and the shuttle bus is fantastic and early park admission is an exceptional added benefit. The food at Amatista restaurant was very satisfying and a morning smoothie at New Dutch Trading Co. was exactly what we needed before starting our day at the parks. The pool is one of the largest we ever encountered and the staff is always willing to help with whatever you're needing.

Favorite hotel by far.

We got 2 rooms, both were very dirty. From the smell of the rooms to the dirty bed sheets. Would not recommend this hotel at all. Got sick from the air in the room.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was with our keys. Room was not ready so we went to the park for the day coming back late. Received a text that our room was ready but our keys did not work and we had a long long walk back to the lobby to get keys reissued.

Hotel is beautiful, clean and very well located , take the boat and be at citywalk in 5 minutes. The pool is really nice also. 100% recomend the stay

We never ate breakfast there. The air conditioning system worked great because we like it a little warmer and we had connecting rooms so worked out perfectly for the three of us. The only flaw was not renovating our room 2312 as compared to connecting room 2314. We had an old school shower with a shower curtain. 2314 has a brand new glass door and brand new tile with a bench in the shower. The room was clean and the staff was great. Your concierge service is five Star All The Way. Great ladies !

This is our favorite hotel. The pool is beautiful easy to enjoy after a day in the parks or just to take a break from the parks in the middle of the day. This hotel has easy access to the theme parks, easy to walk to. Food options are basic. The staff is extremely helpful and very pleasant.

I’ve stayed onsite with Universal many times in various properties but never stayed at Sapphire falls until recently - the hotel was immaculate,rooms well sized,comfortable beds,great facilities and upon check in we had a complimentary upgrade to a suite - which was just fantastic!

Wow, this particular hotel has never been on my bucket list. It is definitely on my list for future visits now. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, the view of part of the park is super cute and fun and even for a very busy miss America weekend there’s still plenty of staff space and Offerings for everyone.

The rooms are noisy. The walls are very thin. The pool is not accommodating for adults. There’s no water deep enough for an adult to swim only for little kids.

Very nice. Our room could have been air dried prior to arrival to get rid of the damp/cleaning products smell given there were no windows to open. Other thank that, enjoyed our stay and would stay at Loews Sapphire again.

I liked all the amenities, the cafe was convenient, pool was great, air conditioning excellent. Room was a suite but only one sink for us, water pressure weird at times, sliding door didnt completely shut for toilet/shower area.

We had a great stay at Sapphire Falls. We enjoyed the ease of getting to the Universal parks and its central Orlando location. Our room was spacious and clean, however lacking a balcony so struggled to dry wet swimwear!

Enjoyed staying once again. Staff were friendly and gave prompt responses. It’s situated conveniently to walk to restaurants and attractions.

Front desk literally lied to us when we asked for the highest floor possible she said they don’t have anything available after pretending to go and talking to the manager. And she placed us on the first level with a view to the dog park, turns out these rooms are for families with pets and kids when my wife is allergic to dogs. They did fix it by moving us to a different higher floor level that “ was not available” when we actually asked for it.

I love the way we where greeted by the front desk her name was Mariangel and she went above and beyond to welcome us and start the trip off with a huge positive she even gave us a complimentary breakfast and a room upgrade facing the lake and jetty for river boat taxi because we where celebrating our honeymoon she is a very helpful universal staff member great to have this when you arrive.

Overall this is a 9 out of 10 for us! We will be back! My main recommendation is to order DoorDash to save money on on the go food prices and drinks. For the expense can get out of hand over 7 days! It takes 10-20 minutes to setup and order. They meet you right at the front many families did it so don’t feel odd or cheap to do it. It’s just smart plain and simple. I highly highly recommend staying here as I said this was our best family trip ever!!

Great on site restaurants, easy access via water taxi to Universal Citywalk and the two Universal parks. Cant be beat. Hallways could use some repair (baseboards coming off and scuffed badly, lifting carpet), sometimes dirty.

Great hotel! The only reason I gave them 4 stars was because the pool staff was a little short and not really friendly. There was some weather going through and they very quick to close the pool area, when we questioned one person she was very rule and quick to stay “I don’t make the rules”. We live in Florida and know the rules for weather but 15 miles is a lot to close the pool for non lightning clouds.

We returned here because it is a great place to stay. It's an easy walk to Universal if we don't want to wait for the ferry. The room was quiet and very comfortable.

The hotel itself is very very very clean as impressive that everything was very convenient. Staff was courteous Maui complaint would be from the outside. It didn’t look spectacular when I drove up but it’s better inside.

Only fault I could possibly state is that the parking should be discounted (if it cant be free) if you go to the theme park. The other guys (the ones with the mouse!!!) down the road provide free parking if you stay at their resort.

The room, while being a suite, was noisy and there were no mini-bar. Carpets provided allergies to my kids and my wife, I suspect they were not regularly washed and cleaned. In short, this is a place to avoid.

Facilities are very clean. Very convenient transportation to theme parks and surroundings are beautiful. Hotel dining options are also great. Highly recommend

It is a beautiful property with excellent customer service and wonderful amenities. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to serve us. I hate not remembering the name of the young man at the front desk because I intended to highlight him. However, I plan on returning and I will make sure to get his name on my next visit. The restaurant staff were also wonderful and the service provided was excellent. I can honestly say the same for the pool staff, regardless of the draining heat, he kept a smile on his face and was very attentive. I will come back and recommend this wonderful hotel.

Everything is so cool and nice

Welcoming, it makes you feel at home. This is our third time and every experience has been amazing. Thank you to the staff!

The rooms were very small. They really don’t qualify as resort rooms. They feel tiny for a family of 4. There is no balcony, the windows don’t open, even if you have pool view. The pool is the highlight, but we would not stay here again.

My only complaint was the parking charges. It's very confusing. We were told that it was $35 a night through the hotel. However, we didn't know that we needed to keep the room key to exit from the garage to not get charged again. We had to pay another $106 to exit the garage for a 1 night stay!!! So in total we spent $141 for parking over 1 night. We called the Billing team and they told us that they would contact the manager to get a refund but we never heard back and never got a refund. I would caution others to check how parking works and make sure you understand what to do so you don't get overcharged like us.

This is a great property for families who don't need to have express pass and want to save some money.

M room was never cleaned after 2 requests, 1st request on day 3 and 2nd request on day 4. Eventually cleaned my room on eve of my check out but it was the worst cleaning ever, used towels were left on the floor below the sink.

Absolutely fantastic stay as always. Our 4th time here and this is the only place we'll stay anymore! The pool is wonderful and relaxing. The staff is friendly to a person, everyone greeting us in the halls. The food either at the tavern or Amatitsa downstairs is wonderful - fresh and delicious at breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks. The location to the parks and other resorts is so convenient but its such a beautiful property to just lounge at, get snacks by the pool, watch a movie and RELAX. The room prices are also a fantastic value.

I also thought the 1.7 oz of lotion was a bit stingy. Even when I had used most of it, there was no replacement the one day staff came to the room.

A lot of unsupervised children in the swimming pool and hot tub. Rules of the hot tub are not as visible as needed. Hot tub should be adults only no children. Most children were jumping into hot tub. Empty cups and alcoholic drinks around the hot tub where children can easily obtain. Mangement should consider life guards monitoring the hot tub area and enforcing rules for the safety of children.

Nice property but you should expect to spend a lot. Parking is $35/ night and breakfast for 2 is $70. We had dinner elsewhere

Excellent place to stay!

For the first time in 15 years we went to Universal to see how it has changed over the years. The hotel is clean with excellent walkability and boat access with terrific service to the parks. I will say for the price I would expect better self coffee service in the rooms. There are those of us where it's very important to start the day - and it seems like a money grab for $5 every morning to get us to buy a coffee downstairs. The restaurants were expensive but absolutely wonderful, and the ease at which you can access everything at the hotel is beautifully designed.

If you enjoy traveling with your pet, this property offers the best value in the area for a higher end hotel with amenities, dining options, plus location to both Universal Studios and Disney World. Staff are attentive to your pet and they have a big pet area. Definitely recommend.

The location and water taxi to Universal is key! The room needed new quilts (had some loose threading) and new carpets (our room had stains). The staff were great and I loved room service 24x7 after some long days.

A great place to stay in the universal area. Easy to walk to other resorts and universal city walk. Resort has a lovely foyer area to hang out in and facilities were all great. Would stay here again!

Our stay was clean and newly updated, the rooms were comfortable and the staff were all incredibly friendly. The food was also really good, especially the pork tacos at Strong Water Tavern. The only downside to our stay was the music being played in the lobby and courtyard area next to Guest House 3 was quite loud all throughout the night, and there were a few guests staying a few rooms down from us who were extremely loud at 1am. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything going on outside of your room but other than that, we’d definitely stay here again. The pros far outweighed the con.

The lobby is very welcoming and relaxed. The staff is super friendly and accommodating and can answer any question you may have as well! This is truly one of my favorite places to stay when I come to Orlando.

we loved that we could walk to everything or get a ride in the ferry. The staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurants were different and convenient The parking situation was not ideal. They told us that parking was included with our room but we were charged anyway to get out of the parking garage, so I had to go back in and fill out a refund form with the staff, its been two weeks and they still have not refunded our parking fees. Normally I wouldn't complain about these things but it was more than hundred dollars.

We have stayed twice at this hotel. It is very clean and the pool area and the boat to CityWalk is awesome. We will be back for sure.

Very nice

Pool and jacuzzi entrance layered with slick tile. Causing me too slip into the jacuzzi and injuring myself. I was treated like it was my fault that the do not use anti slip materials on the stairs that enter the pool. I spent the day getting X-rays and icing injuries instead of enjoying my birthday.
