Very nice staff and decently priced, considering the area's general price level. I enjoyed my stay and plan to return to this accommodation the next time I'm in town.
- 3/5
Parking is scary, since most of the spots are narrow and buttressed with concrete poles. Took us a long time to safely park our vehicle without damaging it. The room was barely passable; the best thing was the bed. Everything else was cheap or in disrepair. Lights didn't work; outlets were worn; the A/C unit was unreliable. The shower stall was the same size as a cruise-ship shower with wobbly water fixtures and an immovable shower head—not to mention the shampoo in a sauce packet. The towels weren't soft or anywhere near normal size. Seriously, this was a mediocre place to stay and borderline terrible. Still, it did the trick for the one night we needed it. But you'd be better off staying at the Comfort Inn next door; we should have done that.

Room was a good size and clean. There was no glass in the room. Either plastic or paper. The air conditioner / heater unit was noisy and wouldn't turn off.
- 5/5
I appreciate the glass slipper inn.

The only think I didn't like was the parking lot, spaces are too reduced

Flies in the room upon arrival, old and dirty grout, peeling laminate floors, musty smelling pillows, dirty bathroom window sill and cracked window, horribly small parking spaces

Parkibg stalls narrow no smoke detector in room

Superb

No coffee maker, no ice maker, no facial tissues. No daily linen service. There is no public main lounge for coffee or breakfast. All transactions are done through a glass pane. The parking is a pain. You must park between very narrow poles. If you do manage to park, you might not be able to get out of the car, it is that tight! The cars are underneath the rooms. My smoke alarm went off at 4am waking me out of a sound sleep. I gave it to the manage. It was never replaced during my stay. But the room was clean!
- 5/5
At check in they were so nice and friendly, I got there unexpectedly late from the hospital where my husband was admitted and they told me everything nearby that was open incase I was hungry. The room was so well stocked too, I had to work remotely and the wifi was perfect with a super good desk setup. I was having a sad time, and this experience made me feel so much better. Im really thankful!
- 3/5
Parking spaces are narrow, no coffee, no smoke detector
- 3/5
Property is older and could use renovation. However the room was clean and comfortable. The biggest challenge is that parking is quite difficult unless your car is very narrow. You have to squeeze between the posts on each side of every parking spot.
- 2/5
The floors were sticky and the Tv looked like it had never been dusted. Paint was chipped overall very poor. And parking is not xtremely tight quarters
- 5/5
Nice place to stay. The beds are great

Loved the place

Was fine
- 5/5
Area is a little loud but not enough to keep me awake. For the price having a microwave and fridge was a bonus. There were plenty of food options around the area. Upon checking in and checking out the staff was very nice and friendly. The hotel was a little far from my target destination but I would definitely return again if the opportunity arose.
- 5/5
Good for its price
- 4/5
Didn't need it.
- 4/5
Heater is not working.
- 4/5
Glass Slipper Inn was a pleasant experience in the toney and tech money Palo Alto area, where the median price home is $3 million plus! It is conveniently located and is a great value for the area it serves. This place is for the 99% of Americans who happen to be here just visiting the top 1% who live here full time. The Inn was well run, clean, and a great value given the neighborhood.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 3/5
The room was big, but, the parking was not my favorite thing. Also all rooms are upstairs. I didn’t know this until I got there. It’s hard for me and my daughter to climb stairs, but I had already paid. I don’t think I will stay there again.
- 3/5
They need to include in their advertising the fact that there are no ground floor rooms. You have to walk up at least one flight of stairs to get to the rooms. And things in the room were a little funky around the edges, but the bed was clean and comfortable. Whatever
- 3/5
Amenities such a coffee machine and a hvac unit that has simple controls
- 5/5
Has microwave and fridge... And is is very spacious
- 1/5
The parking spaces were so small I could squeeze in but had to climb out the back door. The room was so dated, with flooring coming up,mold around the tiny shower. We would NEVER recommend or stay there again. How you rated it very nice is beyond me. Also, it said it is 2.8 miles from the Stanford Health Center and it was close to 8 miles.
- 4/5
The room was large and clean with normal amenities. The heat was a little strange. Had to set to 80 F to get proper temperature, but I know the actual temperature was not 80. Shower hand came off in my hand, but if you were careful it stayed in place. Price was right. Lower than anywhere around. Quiet and acceptable.
- 5/5
The heater works great, and the staff is willing to help with any problems.
- 5/5
The staff will treat you great, and on a cold night you will not notice it
- 5/5
The room was very clean, and the staff treated me great.
- 5/5
The fact that the room was quiet, safe, clean, and the front desk went out of their way to make my stay great.
- 5/5
The room was great, and staff will go out their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible
- 5/5
Business travel rooms are spacious and clean. Parking is a challenge. Shower heads are very low. Front desk is very nice and professional.
- 5/5
So vey greatful 🙏 💖
- 5/5
the room is fantastic, clean and taken care of.
- 5/5
The room was very clean, but they need to invest in new heaters
- 5/5
The manager was so helpful with our stay and was extremely polite.
- 4/5
Yes for price and location it's the best. Super friendly staff person that helped us and super accommodating... We have gone there several times now and always consistent. Will definitely be there again in the future. 😁
- 2/5
The AC didnt work
- 5/5
The room is so clean and staffs especially front desk personnel is so pleasant, courteous, helpful and very friendly.
- 5/5
Super clean, quiet, friendly. Excellent
- 3/5
Night desk staff was great. Room was clean enough. Just had to sleep through the neighbor upstairs walking around. Could use more material to block or lessen wall noise from above.
- 3/5
Okay for the price! Could be better though with a little bit attention to the room amenities to be fixed and placed as advertised!
- 5/5
Yes staff was very courteous - friendly- welcoming/ caring- offering help when needed. Great staff!
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful. 🙂
- 5/5
Clean Room and peace and quite. A place to rest for the night
- 5/5
Very comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff.
- 4/5
Just nice clean cozy place.
- 4/5
Basic, clean room. Friendly check-in staff.
- 2/5
Ok and nothing impressive
- 5/5
Clean room, also good staff
- 1/5
No elevator, zero cold water, nothing but scolding hot the entire time was there. Not sure how this place got reviewed the way it does on Expedia but I think they need to check out their review system! I definitely would not stay here again
- 3/5
I had to be moved from the first room because the tv wasn't working. I will say the staff is very very nice. The first room and the 2nd room I was in were both very dirty. The beds were clean, though, except for the bedspread in the 2nd room - it needed a wash. The bed was very comfortable, however. Nice sheets. I slept really well. But the surfaces of all areas were very dirty/dusty and the floors were as well, and being a clean freak, that bothered me, especially in a place that's a big city with lots of travelers.
- 3/5
The walls are not soundproofed. Can hear neighbors speak.
- 4/5
Great Property
- 4/5
Nice sized room clean . No ground floor rooms.
- 5/5
Lee was exceptional, very friendly staff, clean and nice room and walkable to a few restaurants and most importantly good donuts! ;))
- 5/5
Simple, big room, lots of space, very clean and quiet
- 3/5
Cheap and close to Lucile Packards Children’s hospital.
- 4/5
Always like staying here while I visit Stanford. Room was a little noisy during the night. Drippy shower, ( room 105) Noisy neighbors upstairs which I know there is no control over. Great location with nice food options. Management and staff always nice! Will visit again next year!
- 5/5
Great staff, great place!
- 5/5
Definitely will be back, thank you!
- 4/5
I liked that it was a convenient place close to Stanford Hospital but the rooms were musty smelling and noisy upstairs guests. Also didn't see any smoke or fire detectors in the room.
- 4/5
Owner was awesome had great info and was nice. Room was mostly clean but the bathroom walls needed help... Prior people were rude- but overall it was nice and convenient. Not noisy. Great restaurants and gas stations near by. Not far from VA. Price was affordable
- 5/5
Had a fantastic experience at Glass Inn. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Everything was well-maintained and made for a relaxing visit. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
It was a last minute change for my family since we had aquired a new family member. They called me to check in and see when arrival would be. Very friendly staff and highly accommodating.
- 1/5
Parking was HORRIBLE! Only 1 handi-cap parking space., being used by a long term tennant and car was broke down.
- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay at Glass Inn. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making me feel right at home. The location was perfect — close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended, and I would definitely come back again!
- 4/5
Appreciate Mr. Lee. very accommodating pet friendly and welcoming. So peaceful so far able to rest good before a big adventure.
- 5/5
Nice location inn
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 2/5
Broken shower handle no coffee machine place wasn’t nice hotel
- 4/5
Even though it's an older property, the room was large and clean and the bed was comfortable. Check in was easy and the front desk clerk was very friendly. However, I was able to connect to the free wifi but it was so weak that I couldn't use it. Disappointing. I was given a hang tag for the room door to hang if I wanted it cleaned. I hung the tag but when I got back late I discovered the room had not been cleaned. Also disappointing. But overall, it was quiet and comfortable so it was ok.
- 3/5
It was clean and served the purpose. It isn't a luxury hotel by any means. Price was right as most in the area are really expensive. Definitely could use some updating and paint.
- 4/5
They need to make sure all tv,s are working correctly, which there not
- 5/5
this is a good choice for those who seek cost-effectiveness. I kind of like the white-noise from their AC. it's a good and convenient place.
- 5/5
Very clean and frienfly staff
- 4/5
Was fine
- 5/5
A great deal of lodging. It’s recommended for a budget.
- 5/5
We had an amazing stay. Everyone was so kind and helpful!
- 5/5
Was a great room and great check in
- 5/5
Was a quick check in and very easy check out
- 5/5
Easy to make reservations Clean and no bad smells
- 5/5
Great room & service
- 4/5
It’s pretty good extended state type of thing or you have people living there for period of time looks a little CD but it’s not everybody’s nice and considerate. The parking sucks though if you have an SUV, good luck there’s no elevator. See you’re walking upstairs. I hope you don’t have a lot of luggage. There’s three flights of stairs if you’re staying on the top, which is where I stayed but regardless, you’re walking up at least one flight maybe two flights of stairs. the rooms need some freshen it up they could really use a coat of paint, some scrubbing, the bathrooms, dingy dark. I get the impression that they’re clean, but you know I really think with the location of this place and the layout of the property if somebody would invest some money into this place, the return on their investment would be crazy outrageously high. This seems like the kind of place that you could charge $1000 a night to stay at but rooms are going for under 100 and it’s just because of a couple coats of paint And extended stay. This is a real real diamond in the rough here except for the diamonds a little rough still too
- 5/5
Inside very clean. Nice greeting. Good bed. Outside needs maintenance. Bit good value
- 3/5
Overall decent stay. The road is quite noisy and the parking garage is a pain but the staff was nice.
- 4/5
The inaide of the rooms are really nice
- 5/5
Lots of history to the hotel
- 4/5
The room was clean and nice sized. The a/c doesnt seem to stay on, the tv has a weird tint and no sound. The biggest problem I had was the parking. The parking spaces were tiny and if you left then finding another one wasnt a guarantee. Its an okay place for the price it is.
- 2/5
No smoke detector on plaque of where it used to be, microwave is rusted inside the door and paint peeling, paint stains inside shower pan looks dirty but just spilled paint, cords to tv,internet, cable, refrigerator, microwave and lamp are exposed on counter. Peeling non skid paint of stairway. Water leaking from outside light fixture from room 205. Very poor conditions
- 4/5
Safety climbing stairs
- 1/5
No elevator
- 4/5
It was cold in the room when I came and it took 2-3 hours to make it warm.
- 4/5
I appreciated the Glass Slipper. It's inexpensive, yet clean. Several good restaurants within walking distance. The Happy Donut across the street had good coffee and good breakfast croissants. Parking at the motel was challenging, but I was able to hone my parking skills. All in all, a good choice for a reasonable price.
- 5/5
Nice and comfortable
- 4/5

- 3/5
Parking place is too narrow
- 4/5
Nice big room.
- 5/5
Excellent value for money. Enjoy!
- 4/5
Quiet
- 4/5
Comfortable bed and very clean, unfortunately no coffee maker.
- 3/5
Staff was nice, room was clean. My biggest complaint is with the parking. Spaces are very tight and difficult to get into and out of.
- 2/5
Could hear neighboring footsteps all night long
- 4/5
Large rooms, good location, no high def TV. Just standard picture. No toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Good thing I brought my own. All in all I'm satisfied
- 2/5
The hotel is bare bones and quite noisy. The unit above was making a lot of noise and the maintenance guy was banging a bucket one morning all throughout the parking lot. The heater didn't work. and there wasn't a screen on the bedroom window, though the bathroom did have a screen. The room was clean but the shower curtain had mold on it.
- 1/5
Nobody came to clean my room any of the days. Windows would not lock, Bed was dirty, People live in this hotel. Abandoned vehicles were in the parking area.
- 5/5
Overall the room was very nice and clean. The manager was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The parking had very small spots, had to let my passengers out before pulling all the way in because there wasnt enough room to open the doors. But overall we were very happy with our stay.
- 5/5
The room was very large and updated. Very clean and well priced. I would get a 2nd floor room next time bc the parking garage is below the room and loud cars will wake you.
- 3/5
Good for a bargain motel. No laundry though and the nearby laundromat is nearly unusable -- broken change machine, broken detergent dispenser, most machines don't work. If you need to do laundry, expect to take a taxi or the bus to the next laundromat down the street. It's a 30 minute walk to the next laundromat.
- 5/5
Inside of the rooms are very good
- 5/5
Staff is very nice, the rooms are big and well furnished. A gem in the heart of the Silicon Valley
- 5/5
Good.spot
- 5/5
Clean, climate-controlled, basic King bed and room. Management is great.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 4/5
AC was not cold enough
- 2/5
Not even coffee machine for an advertised 3 star facility. Outside areas dirty and require major upgrade, Bad wifi connection and uncomfortable bed.
- 5/5
the place was good for the price
- 1/5
The shower had no water pressure and no hot water. The shower was extremely small, the door switch didn't turn on the lights and the walls were so thin I could hear people talking in normal conversation so it was extremely awkward when I hard people having sex all night long.
- 5/5
Very comfortable and close to many shops
- 5/5
Was like an apartment, Cozy.
- 4/5
2 queen in one room and king in the other room.
- 1/5
Room was terrible and dirty out of date
- 5/5
Perfect I
- 5/5
The only thing that was great was leaving the parking area. Otherwise this hotel is clean, large rooms and located in a convenient area.
- 5/5
Very clean and friendly staff
- 5/5
As a resident of the area for many decades, I’ve always been fascinated by this property. For some logistical reasons, I needed a place to stay, and it was as comfortable and clean as any place I’ve been.
- 4/5
The staff, the location.
- 5/5
Nice large unit with comfy bed and balcony. Very nice condition. Pleasant management family. For sure staying there again. Affordable for Palo Alto Stanford area.
- 3/5
I needed to book somewhere to stay a few hours before turning in for the night and glass slipper inn gave me a clean bed to sleep in. The accommodations were not luxurious and the room had an interesting smell to it, but the rooms were entirely clean and usable. The bed was comfortable. It fulfilled its purpose.
- 3/5
The staff didn’t seem so nice, he was just okay
- 1/5
internet what internet they give you a password and the signal is so weak it wont conenct on ANY of the connections,. the toilet was running al night and the tv stopped working,.. and they charged a PROPRTY fee what the F((K is that!!!!???? 125 to stay in a cess pit...

- 5/5
The facilities and stay overall was very good. Great bargain and value. I have my suspicions re: some of the staff though unfortunately. Recommended otherwise.
- 5/5
The toilet doesn’t flush properly, but it’s a decent place to sleep for the night. There’s some food options across the street.
- 1/5
Feel unsafe in the hotel and not clean at all the service is also very bad. Had to leave after first night (3 hours after check in) because I felt unsafe. And the hotel won’t even refund for the second night.
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful, I have limited walking ability and the staff went out of the their way to help me. The room was quite large and styled very nice.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Owner could not be nicer and room was spacious, if bare-boned. Located on a very busy street. Off-street parking, very well lighted. Microwave, TV and fridge but no coffee pot or toiletries. Very satisfactory for a minimalist stay.
- 1/5
The parking lot was too tight and I felt unsafe. The room smell bad..
- 3/5
Parking was difficult and stairs were required to reach any room. Checking in felt like entering a prison facility. Room was large with chairs and desk. NO COFFEE!
- 1/5
Yikes. I don't know if management changed since 2 years ago but this hotel has really gone downhill. My husband stayed this past weekend and had to drive out to buy his own toilet paper and water because there was nothing in the room. It also took about 35 minutes for the hot water to come in (which is sadly a waste of water too). There is no housekeeping so you clean your own room, even on a 4 night stay. Parking is extremely tight so make sure you have a tiny (Smart car) vehicle. His 4 door rental car was way too large. Won't be back.
- 1/5
After being onsite for 5-10 minutes and seeing the property/room we felt unsafe and kindly asked for a refund but were told we wouldn’t be getting one. So we left and drove around until we found a room in a safer area. However the man at the front desk was extremely kind.
- 5/5
The staff here is amazing! Very helpful and professional at all times.
- 2/5
Property is very run down and shabby. The "non-smoking" room absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. Water pressure in the shower is laughable, don't even bother trying to bathe. It's cheap, but not even worth that price.
- 5/5
I was to stay here after my husband's surgery at Stanford. Due to complications, I needed to stay in the hospital with him. The host was very kind when I called each night to explain why I was delayed. This will be my favorite place to stay from now on. The staff member's kind words helped me through the day.
- 5/5
Good service
- 5/5
Conscientious and helpful staff, peaceful building, easy parking, and blocks away from coffee and dining options.
- 5/5
The staff and specially the front desk are really friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Great size room and it was super clean! Wish the A/C fan would just stay on, each time it would turn off it would wake me up. However, I will come back to this hotel when I need a room again!!
- 2/5
Electrical wires exppsed in box with no cover.
- 4/5
easy check in
- 5/5
Don’t judge a book by its cover. It’s a classic hotel with a quaint, feeling the only thing different that would’ve make it more pleasant would be a coffee pot.
- 5/5
It looks dated from the outside, but the room was really nice. Quite clean, and comfortable.
- 4/5
Good place for the price, clearly an aged facility but practical
- 4/5
Room was cleaned, but parking was narrow and tight. There were several unused car parked in the garage.
- 5/5
The staff was awesome
