No towels and no hot water

got in from a long travel day with many unexpected turns and just wanted to rest. The person at the front counter was rather impatient with me and tried telling me how i should have booked the room. Seeing that i wasn’t even supposed to be in this city i was frustrated when he rushed my check in process like i was wasting his time. I did not feel particularly welcome and felt as though I was burdening him. my reception

Pros- Price, location, lack of noise from traffic, decent breakfast options, pool Cons- noise from neighboring rooms and hall- could hear conversations and doors opening and closing, workout equipment (1 of 3 cardio machines working), could be cleaner in the room.

The check in was chaos. They charged me for my daughter’s reservation even after I told them it was wrong. Will never stay here again!! Very disappointing!! Please do not stay here!!!

The staff was excellent, the hotel was very clean, comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast. The price was a little high for the grade of hotel, but I think that was due to it being graduation weekend.

Front Desk workers were very helpful and nice. The room was not terrible but not the cleanest…dust and small particles were on carpet around the baseboards, curtains hanging lopsided. Bathroom was clean but hard water spots were in sink & tub.

I pad almost $300 for one night. And it was nothing more than a janky hotel. There was a spot on the wall tha was easily just patched over. I can hear everything going on in other rooms. The curtains only close halfway and it’s nothing but sun hitting you first thing in the morning. And the smell of the place…the smell…it was terrible!!

Very disappointed due to their false advertising. Need to update their website because the hot tub was closed and boarded over so it hasn’t been used in some time. Two of the machines in the gym were broken (one treadmill and the elliptical) and the bench for the free weights was broken as-well. Curtains in the room didn’t fully close so it was very bright in the morning. There was what looked like blood stains on the sheer curtains. We had to get the keycards replaced 6 times because they continuously didn’t work on the doors. Front desk was very helpful and apologetic about the keycards. I wasn’t expecting much but somehow it still fell short of my expectation.

The owner/manager is genuinely interested in making this hotel what his guests are looking for. That is very refreshing.

Parking was easy. The elevator was not working so were upgraded to a suite because we needed ro carry our luggage up one flight of stairs.

They stopped breakfast earlier than posted, the hot tub was closed. I was very happy with our first stay and chose to go back for another…that was horrible. We will be finding another place to stay next time.

I was here visiting relatives. This hotel was in the perfect place. Staff are lovely and could not do enough for you to make you comfortable. Nice restaurants and shopping around the area.

Hotel was very clean. Desk clerk came down to our room and showed us how to get the TV working right. He was very helpful. Gave us suggestions and directions and for dinner. Will definitely stay here again!

A guy tired to break my door down at 8AM. Staff claimed he was another guest and just couldn’t remember what room was his. It was insane. We had a shouting match through the door. The latch keeping him out. Said he was going to “cave my F***ing head in.” I call the front desk, they run him off. After the fact, front desk guy won’t budge form his story that the guy was a guest who simply couldn’t remember his room number.

Staff was amazing!! Mike helped me with my check in and made it go very smoothly. Only downside was ceiling leaking into pool.

Breakfast was satisfying with an acceptable variety. The poop was a bit murky but still warm and fairly clean but the tv stand was broken and the door seemed like it had been broken

It was located by our activity. It was clean. The hot tub listed was filled in with concrete, the pillows were small and the bed was hard.

the pool was cloudy and the hot tub had a board over it. The tables in the breakfast area were all dirty and there was only one other person eating when I was there. It was 9:30 am on a Sunday. The couch and chair in the room were not the cleanest. Management may have treated staff badly.

Staff are amazing they attentive

They didn’t have blankets or pillows for the hide a bed. They changed my card twice. We had to be at our tournament by 7 am so we couldn’t get anything for breakfast. Mark was very nice though. No hot tub was a disappointment.

This hotel needs updating. Lots is small things that don’t work, nightstand drawer would not stay shut, stopper in tub did not work, shower curtain too small, shower would soak the entire bathroom. Carpet very dirty. Lots of small things that need fixing. On our last night kids ran up and down the halls until midnight knocking on doors. Ver uncomfortable stay.

Upon check in they excitedly told me that they had begun renovations that should be completed within the next six months. I will be happy to try this property again once that has been completed because the location and the staff was exceptional.

The breakfast in the morning was great! Had eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, and then the normal continental breakfast stuff like toast, bagels, oatmeal etc. The kids enjoyed getting to help out making their own waffles in the waffle iron.

Jacuzzi tub was not clean upon arrival the front desk and a trainee had cleaned out the tub for me because there was no other rooms available. I traveled 2.5 hours to stay in that hotel in that specific area and I was definitely disappointed. The floors of the hotel looked as if someone just took a towel and went over it. When asked to speak with the owner/manager no one was available but I was told he would be there the following morning. Breakfast was not on time and cold the variety was horrible as well. The only good thing about my stay was the coffee and the area

Staff were nice and made sure to accommodate our requests. It was a a comfortable room and convenient location for a quick turnaround trip.

I later spoke with the manager, Vijay, who apologized and said he would address the issue. However, after I left for the gym (where the elliptical machine felt unsafe), the cleaning staff entered the room again, upsetting my daughter, who repeatedly told them to leave. Overall, the experience felt unsafe and extremely unprofessional—more like a low-quality motel than a hotel.

While the actual hotel wasn’t perfect (carpet stains and a broken hot tub) the extremely accommodating staff and incredibly affordable price ($80 plus taxes) definitely made this an excellent choice.

so many things - I have stayed at Country Inn & suites in other cities- this did not live up to what I have experienced at other locations. The room was not 'clean' the carpet had not been cleaned/or vacuumed very well. I in part chose this hotel for the pool/hot tub there was no notice that the hot tub was out of order so that was disappointing. Breakfast was a mix of cold cereal, a microwaveable sandwich you get at a gas station, fruit and bread/rolls. There was no ice in the ice machine and the only one I found was on the first floor. We were trying to leave in the morning, came out of the elevator and 2 housekeepers had their carts blocking the hall/elevator and didn't even make an attempt to move them or let us get by. Tried to shower in the morning and there was no knob to turn the shower on, apparently you had to pull down a piece inside the spout to activate the shower head, I have never seen this before. I was very disappointed with our stay at this hotel.

We ended up getting moved and the next room was better but had a broken chair that ended up cutting my son. Front desk was nice at check out and took my info saying they would call me back. Absolutely no word from them. They said they would refund me and then would not contact back hotels.com to give me the refund or answer my calls.

The shower did not work. I had to wash my hair kneeling and putting my head under the faucet. I was on the ground level and my curtains did not close. Anyone walking by could see directly into my room and there was a bright light that shined into my room all night. It was a bad experience

Stars are for the staff, they did the best they could. The rooms are poorly maintained and dated. Our room was not cleaned, so we were offered another dirty room. It was a busy weekend for the race in town, so it was pretty much sold out. The room we booked was reassigned so we had 1 bed and a dirty sofa.

A fine stay for single night. The property has signs up that they are in the middle of renovations. Our room (king suite with hot tub) had not been updated yet, but it was fine with only cosmetic issues - cracked tiles, not perfect caulk & grout lines, etc. Only minor complaint is that there were several youth sport teams and families staying so it was loud and chaotic in the halls, pool, breakfast area. But that is more of an issue of poor parenting than the fault of the hotel.

I cannot say enough about the politeness, care, & professional service from every member of the staff we encountered, from the front desk to the maintenance & housekeeping, all were very friendly & pleasant. The breakfast is well worth visiting, also. David ran a tight ship, keeping everything fresh & friendly, which made breakfast both days a fantastic experience. I'll definitely wait until the renovations are complete, but I shall give this place another shot. It's in a good location & plenty of services are just minutes away.

The first room we were in the air conditioner the belt sounded like it was going, they quickly put us in a new room. The second room the bed was hard as all get out. The staff there is friendly and in honesty if the bed was more comfortable we would always choose this hotel. We come to Peoria 2-3 times a year.

The pool and hot tub were closed due to a problem with the ceiling. This did not appear to be a new issue, so I wish they had notified us in advance to give us the option to book elsewhere. The beds were concave in the middle and none of us slept very well, but the rooms were clean and reasonably quiet.

Overall not a great stay. They are in the process of updating their hotel but we had a lot of issues in the room. One of the TVs didn’t work, other TV cable kept going out, dresser drawers would not stay shut, and they had no pillows or blankets for the sofa bed where my kids were sleeping. A couple positives: staff were friendly, not busy at all, pool open til midnight, and free cookies.

And hot tub were kept clean and towels stocked.

I didn't know they were working onbthe hotel during my stay. I didn't like the fact that we had a ride to our event and then in the middle of our event we get a call saying we can't pick you up we have to get someone else. Why didn't they tell us before they took us so we couldn't enjoy the rest of the event had to worry about getting back to the hotel. The bed was very firm and off centered. The only good thing was the breakfast. It was really good.

Slightly dirty as we found some hair floating in both and we went swimming at 8 am so would expect it to be cleaner Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold items. Staff was friendly. The facility is in need of updating, and construction is underway to do that very thing. Unfortunately, the room that we’re in wasn’t very clean and had quite a bit of disheveled appearance across the property in general. Staff were very nice, however. Looking forward to once the remodel is done and coming back again For another try.

Update the photos to give the guest an opportunity to decide for themselves if they want to stay here or not because once you're here you have no choice but to stay or lose your money and not to mention the beds are horrible and uncomfortable.

I needed a place to stay that had a shuttle to the airport and where a dingle traveler felt safe and comfortable. Havinf a free breakfast on site was also a plus. This placev did not disappoint. Was very satisfied.

Nice place. Good stay. There was some construction in one wing. I didn't hear anything, but it did distract from the overall look and feel. Obviously they are doing a remodel, so that is good to see.

The Breakfast was the best since before covid. We travel cross Country as a family of 5 at least once a year. This facility & the one bedroom double queen room more than met our requirements. Many dining choices nearby. Staff very friendly & helpful.

This is a quality hotel that is a good choice. Although it is dated, it has good bones, is quiet and is roomy.

Overall, it was a decent stay. The one issue, and it was a bigger one, was with the individual who prepared and served breakfast. There were multiple instances where he verbally harassed my athletes. Fortunately, my athletes handled these situations well, but he made unnecessary and disrespectful comments to my athletes while they were eating breakfast. Hope this doesn’t happen to other guests.

Second room I was given smelled odd as well, not like smoke, but I didn’t want to move rooms again so I bought some spray from Walmart and just dealt with it for 2 nights. It is insane how low the standards have gotten with a $150 a night hotel. Gotta spend $200+ for one night in a clean smelling room and not have to encounter drunks in the hallways and have the employees smoking weed in front of the hotel while on the clock.

The TV in the bedroom did not work and the room was not serviced by housekeeping at all during our 3 day stay. We did not have enough shower supplies, toilet paper, or towels. Had to ask for them.

The door from the parking lot was open for anyone to come in/out without a key. The room had a bad smell (mold/mildew)…but then so did the hallways. The bathroom had large areas of mold along the tub.

People next door slammed their door constantly until 12:30 am when I called the front desk. No garbage can in the room , the tv was a mess. I think families are living there.

Staff was nice, checking in and out was easy. Loved that I was able to bring my two cats with. Room was spacious but poor lighting, some lightbulbs were out, tub drained slow, front desk didn’t have much supplies after housekeeping left like pillow, trash bags etc. We asked for a trash bag and we were given a ziploc size bag (which was confusing)

The room was disgusting. The red armchair in the front room was covered in what looked quite exactly like dried sexual fluids. When we opened the freezer, there was loos ice and blood in there. There were no other suites for us to go to, so the poor front desk attendant, Skye (who was the best part about the hotel) had to load up a different refrigerator on the trolley and replace the refrigerator in the room by herself. I couldn’t help because I have physical deficiencies. Poor Sky was covered in thick dust when she pulled it out and dust went everywhere. Furthermore, the fire alarm went off three times in the very early morning (I was told it was a wiring problem). I tried to speak with the manager who was not there. I left my number with the front desk attendant. I still have not been contacted almost a week later. Ps. We were also told that wasn’t the first blood issue the front desk had to daa was l with that day.

When I arrived, the afternoon/evening staff members were so welcoming, fun and kind! Morning staff was NOT. The area seemed safe enough, I had no problems with this. Room cleanliness was good.
