Clean rooms convenient parking secluded safe and good breakfast.

First week of June 2026. #228 - Carpet needed vacuuming- debris between bed and bathroom wall. Debris on carpet under window ( M&M’s ) bathroom was clean & beds were comfortable and clean. AC unit was very loud- sounded like a garbage disposer- earplugs were definitely needed. Other than that the hotel is pleasant-no funky smells- elevators were quick- plenty of parking & a good breakfast also- overall I would stay there again if necessary

Nice clean place that offers breakfast what more can you ask for. This place is a must stay when visiting Peoria because it's also close to everything no need to drive far for anything such as restaurants or shopping.

Everything was clean and modern. Security factors (locks, exterior lighting, etc) all were in place and functioning. Room was comfortable and I liked the bed so much we may order one. We didn't use the amenities much, but I did have some breakfast in the morning, which was decent, if largely comprised of processed items. *Note to Holiday Inn corporate: Please consider shifting to reusable diningware instead of the extensive use of plastic utensils and styrofoam in your many, many hotels. It would make a huge difference in the amount of landfill waste you create and in the environmental footprint you leave behind. And the addition of a commercial dishwasher would likely pay for itself in a very reasonable and economically-sound timeframe. Thanks.

Had a bite mark on my hand when I woke up and that freaked me out. Check in clerk was rude. The check out clerk was older and soooooo nice, helpful, and did not ignore us and make us seem as if we were interrupting her. She deserves a 10 out vid ten. This place was an accidental booking, but it was very peaceful and quiet.

Breakfast was fresh and had your standard items. The cinnamon rolls were a bonus. No waffles or pancakes.

The room was very nice with nice furnishings and a comfortable bed. We didn’t have any cups in our room so we called the front desk. The girl working the front desk was by herself and trying to check in a whole bus load of people by herself, so I just got some cups by the coffee maker. When we left I wanted to get a receipt but there was no one working the front, so I had to call when I got home and the girl emailed me a copy. The room was overpriced as well

The cleaning staff did an amazing job. Every time I walked through the lobby or onto the elevator, it smelled and looked freshly cleaned.

The breakfast was not up to the standard I expected. The pancake machine was broken, the oatmeal was congealed and unable to be served. There were multiple empty serving areas. The juice dispenser was out of orange juice. So the breakfast options are coffee, bacon, and a few hardboiled eggs. Ended up going out to get food. Also the pool was freezing and the carpet in the room was filthy.

Calk in shower needs to be sprayed regularly with bleach and water solution to get rid of dark mold spots. Great staff and breakfst. Whisper quiet elevator. Good gym equipment. Pool too small for laps.

Nice and clean rooms except for the heater. The heater vent needs cleaning thoroughly. When you turn on the heat a sour moldy smell was blowing g out and you can see the dirt on the vents…gross.

I enjoyed my stay. Only issue is there was a sound every single night that sounded like a key card tying to access my room. I think someone's do not disturb sign was flapping on their door from the AC. Otherwise everything else was fine.

It was a good place to stay. Although I think they need to clean the upholstery in the rooms, the chair and couch didn’t look clean. The staff was very friendly.

We asked for fresh towels and trash to be emptied. Room service knocked on door early, I said we where leaving soon, they never gave fresh towels or emptied trash. Both rolls of toilet paper were almost empty when we checked in. So we ran out, went down to front desk and spoke with Ren, asked for fresh towels, and a couple rolls of TP, she would only give me one. I decided to go out and purchase toilet paper over trying to beg for it. Everyone else at the hotel was very good except for her.

Clean and friendly staff. Toilet leaked everytime you flushed it and soaked the floor. The television quit working several times. Other then that all was good.

Front desk staff was friendly. Lobby and room seemed clean, but my room smelled musty and bad, like sweat. Location was good, free parking and close to a river walk park.

Holiday Inn's are my favorite place to stay when traveling for work- affordable, very clean, and normally updated. This is one of the more updated Holiday Inn's. I really enjoyed it and the staff was friendly. Lots of drivable food options and a good breakfast and seating area.

Decent breakfast, great shower, comfy beds, well kept spaces, good pool for goofing around in, liked being across from Bass Pro Shops.

Made a short weekend trip to the area and found this hotel to be perfect. The service was good. Our room was very clean and comfortable. I loved the bathroom layout compared to other hotels where the toilet is right next to the shower, this bathroom had its own space. Breakfast was decent. Overall nice stay.

I felt the room could have been cleaned better. I don’t like seeing hairs on the bathroom floor or spots on the bathroom counter like it wasn’t cleaned. Something must have spilled on the desk cause I could see the mess on the wall under the desk

Looks like Expedia get rooms that are on the first floor which is not my preference. When I asked to change to higher floor, staff didn’t really mind. But all together nice hotel.

Your main problem is that you’re in Peoria, Illinois

Was given one price on Expedia per night and the nightly rate changed for the next day. Also, when checking in I was asked what service I wanted and was told to feel out a service request. I asked for fresh towels daily. Needless to say I did not receive fresh towels. Guests should be told to dry their feet when coming out of the pool area. Floor was wet in common areas from pool goers.

I was there on business and had to use the computer. Samuel was a great help with computer/printer!

Super nice hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. We watched the 4th of July fireworks from our window on the 3rd floor. Wonderful display! Bailey and Sam were great at check in and very helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay.

Upon arrival they had changed our handicapped two standard beds to a non handicapped king suite room. We had three adults in our party - one being our older mother with low mobility. Very frustrating.

Our stay was great. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, the beds were very comfortable, and overall it was a nice property. The only thing I wish was better, is the cleanliness of the shower. There was a bit of hair and soap from the previous visitors. Other than that, it was pleasant.

Let me start by saying the staff was fabulous. However we did have to switch rooms twice. Our first room was fine but the keys were not working and was determined the key reader on the door was broken. The second room was fine until we pulled out the bed on the sleeper sofa and found a few bugs. We also found a bug in the sealed bedding for the sleeper sofa. Again the staff was fabulous. Prompt and attentive to our needs and got us moved quickly.

The staff were so friendly as we walked into the hotel lobby, warm smiles and very knowledgeable of the area! They even helped my bf surprise me with flowers as they were in the room waiting for me. There is nothing negative I can say about our stay. The bed was very comfy, room was clean, and overall one of the better experiences I have had!

Convenient location by the river and near Peoria Civic Center. Nice staff. The bedding stunk, being on the first floor we heard stomping all night. The comforter had a stain on it. The towels also smelled. Okay price but definitely won’t stay again

WE had a weekend in Peoria with the grandsons. This place was great, a little hard to find but right next to Bass Pro Shop where we spent a lot of time. Wonderful facility

The room had a few crumbs the maid didn’t catch with the vacuum. Bedroom was very clean. The shower was very nice. It was very quiet on the 4th floor. Parking was very easy. Right by a Bass Pro Store. 😉

It was a pleasant stay

Our stay at the Holiday inn was great! Staff was super friendly and they had signs saying they enforced quiet hours strictly- and it was very quiet and easy to sleep. The beds were comfortable and came with both soft and firm pillows. If I had to think of negatives about our stay I would mention that our room didn’t have a non slip mat for the shower and there was one hair in the tub, everything else was super clean! We would stay here again.
