The hotel had a lot of guest. Not hard to sleep but a lot of kids running through out the lobby, halls , gym, and pool. The pool people had music blaring. Also parking garage elevator was broken and it was kind of sketchy better to park in the street.

I did not like my stay because the hotel has no liquor license - from past February - and hotel did not tell me. In fact, I received an email saying all was open before I arrived. I booked this hotel because it had a restaurant and BAR. But bar has no liquor license. Had to go out and few places open.

The room was terrible. Very old, cracks in the walls, water stains on the ceiling, it smelled, beds were uncomfortable, dinner was expensive and horrible. Everything. This was the second time I stayed here. Both experiences were horrible. The first time the heater in the pool and hot tub was broke down and they didn’t let customers know until they found out on their own, they had no sign up stating this, the restaurant was out of about half the food they had listed on the menu and food was terrible.

You can definitely tell that my room wasn’t properly clean due to the fact that I found a dirty black used glove under the bed, old water caps and a very nasty smell coming from the bathroom once to air freshener they sprayed wore up. my room had no number on there and the gentleman at the front desk. Didn’t take time to let me know that as well as that I need a parking ticket to display in the front of my car underneath the garage so I wouldn’t get towed.

The staff was very friendly the room when i first entered had water running from the faucet, all the way down to the floor. There were maintenance tools in the bathroom as well and after the maintenance employee assured me that the room was ready for habitation, the hot water was shut off in the bathroom sink. The hallway smelled of cigarettes in a smoke free hotel. Staff was than able to offer me a room change and were very friendly and apologetic due to the conditions of the room.

Room was clean, bed was comfy. Bad experience at check-in. I was allowed to check-in early and my keycard worked. But I walked in on another guest(?) still in the room. Very embarrassing. I had to go down and ask for a different room. Did not use amenities so unable to review. Poorly stocked convenience items for purchase. Tried to buy drink and desk person said she did not know how to charge me. Nearby restaurant was good. Very convenient to convention center. Parking garage was very tight, very low ceilings- dark/dirty.

No on-site restaurant/pub on premise, they make-up the room every 3 days, parking garage needs a lot of repairs as cement was chipping/breaking away from support beams. Rooms are outdated, lamps have burnt out light bulbs so you do not have a lot of light in the room at night unless you leave the bathroom light on. A/C-Heater is not controlled by the thermostat on the wall.

We used the parking deck because there was an event going on at the pull up at front door was packed. The garage was a disaster, the ground was in crumbles, falling apart. You couldn’t get out of your car without falling. Suitcases were getting stuck in the huge holes in the concrete and rocks all over. We made it to the elevators after walking around because nothing was clearly marked to know where to go. Then the elevators didn’t work. So we had an infant in a stroller suitcases, bags, pac and play that we had to haul down the ramps with on coming traffic because that was the only down with a stroller and all of our stuff. It was totally unsafe for our family and our baby. Espcailly with how bad the ground was we were tripping and falling or had to pick up the stroller at one point because of how big the hole was in the ground. This was unsafe and very scary. Then went to check in and they gave us a hard time because we booked through a 3rd party they kept saying and not through a website ?? And had to change the taxes. And I said no the whole entire weekend is paid in full so your not charging anything different. We had to wait 10 trips to finally be able to get on the elevator to get to our room everything kept cutting in front of us and the stroller. Being very rude with this bunch group of kids. All weekend we dealt with them. But they were had no control. They took over the hotel for an event going on. The staff was in staffed. There is so much more….

Parking ramp had low ceilings, very dark at night, water dripping from ceilings and puddles on the floors of the ramp - it felt unsafe, especially since we arrived after dark. We ended up parking on the street because of the ramp conditions. A picture was missing in our bathroom, there were just picture hangers on the wall above the toilet. Washcloths looked dirty and there was no body wash in the shower dispenser. The heating/cooling window unit was very loud. We paid $530 for two nights and felt this was incredibly overpriced. Breakfast was not included and advertised as $15/person but the total for two of us with fees was over $39. Also, we were put in “the West tower” so our room was not in the nicer main area. We were next door to the roof access and the big HVAC units were just outside our window. The low ceiling in our room made it feel like we were in a basement. The staff was friendly. The location was nice. Will not be staying here again.

I did not like that I could only go up to 73 degrees on the heater. They had it set that you could not go higher than this. it was below 30 degrees at night on this weekend. The elevator connected to the parking garage was out of order. the parking garage was not worth $10 per night extra. it was filthy and smelled like urine. I will not stay here again when I visit Peoria.

Location was good but the rooms were dirty and full of bugs. When we arrived back at our room at 9:00pm we noticed bed bugs and other bugs all over the bed and pillows. We were able to change rooms. The second room seemed better after a deep inspection but didn’t sleep well with the previous concerns of the other room. No offer of a discount or really any concerns about it, except to change rooms. I had to throw away clothes and other items that were on the bed during the day after I checked in at 4pm with the fear of bringing bed bugs into my house. Would not stay there again.

The lobby and amenities on the main floor were clean and nice. It reeked our way back to our room the whole way. Hallway stunk & elevator but our room didn’t and was clean and also had a balcony! We were surprised and excited to see that. We went to the Riley Green concert and it was a difficult but perfectly fine walk because of construction on every road. The water main break as well. Wanted to get dinner downtown but of course it was crazy busy! Ended up at the tailgate eating at the food truck. Came back in the mad rush of the crowd from the concert & everyone was kind and peaceful. Quiet sleep until the city woke up & it was kind of loud but nothing bad at all. I wouldn’t stay there again though. It was a “splurge” for us to stay here I thought from online and I wouldn’t say that’s reality.

The hotel was extremely understaffed so rooms never were cleaned, towels never replaced, hotel staff was non-existent (the ones that showed up are amazing and you should pay them more). Parties of adults & kids running around and yelling and the staff could do nothing because there was usually only one person working. Terrible experience especially for the money. Waited over 7 minutes to be seated. Then the waiter finally comes over after we helped our self to be seated and say KITCHEN CLOSES IN LESS THAN 10 minutes. I stated it is fine we will place the order and just take it to the room, he responded with we don’t do room service I stated ITS TO GO. Yes it was busy maybe a wedding or something but that is crazy. People came in after us who received their food first. The service was POOR. The waiter didn’t offer us water or anything. We got to the restaurant at 931 and didn’t get any follow up until I asked how much longer on my order. The waiter seemed bothered, came back provided me with the check and walked away . Got his attention and he said they were waiting on 1 chicken wing to come out. I received my check at 1005. The service was ridiculous, no follow through, no nothing from the staff. My child was hungry as ever and while we were waited she was able to fall asleep. We received our food at 1018. No thank you. Sorry for the wait NOTHING set the bag down and grabbed the check . Looked confused to why he didn’t receive a tip. When we first arrived you had a group of guys in the front of the property smoking and I believe drinking not sure but my child and I had to walk up the ramp because they were right by the stairs

I had an ok experience at this hotel. The bed was comfortable and amenities modern. I can’t give it a higher score because the water for showering was COLD and would not heat up. I was on the 9th floor and the water pressure would pause and again, never got warm. Taking a cold shower in a hotel on a business trip is extremely annoying.

The fitted sheet on our bed barely held on to the corner of the mattress, fitted only around the top seam of the mattress. It of course popped off, leaving me to sleep on the mattress top & bunching up the sheet & mattress cover. I left a note for housekeeping to change the sheet. Didn't see it? Didn't change it. They also did not restock the coffee pods, though going back down to the front desk, the night staff was quick to supply me. The $15 per person breakfast buffet was not worth it.

I bought a room. I paid for the room. They did not give us the room I bought. They said that they did not have that room available and put us in a less expensive room and made us pay the same amount. That was the main reason for bad review. It’s a Marriott. We stay at Marriott all the time. This was one of the lower end Marriott that you really can’t count on. But I will say the restaurant was handy and good. The carpet smells like mildew. And there is water everywhere so don’t slip and fall.

First, I paid for a King size bed room, well in advance of our stay and when we arrived was given a dbl and found out when we went into the room. Went to the front desk and was told they didn’t have any and there was nothing they could do. We had to ask for bath towels for our room which made me wonder if anyone had even been in the room to clean. There was vagrants on the property, one was doing drugs on the side walk right outside to the left of the entrance. One threw only God knows what all over cars parked at the meter spaces out front at 7am in the morning. No security to be seen anywhere!! The only thing that was decent was the restaurant on site. Clearly someone is lying if they gave this place anything more than a two star. If we had not just drove 6 hours and had the ability to get another room we would have! Be Leary of staying here!!

The biggest issue we had is that it was impossible to get cold water. When the sink or shower faucet was turned to cold, the water ran warm and then hot. If you turned it to hot it got scalding. For drinking water we had to just ice everything down and then we didn't end up showering just because we didn't know if the water would suddenly get scalding. This was the case for both of our rooms which were on opposite sides of the property. The bathroom door barely closed, only when putting your whole bodyweight behind it because it drug against the bathroom floor. The door latch was installed backwards too making it harder. There was spotting on the tile floor inside the door when we got to our room, like something had spilled and dried up and then not been cleaned up. There were also several electrical wires just out on the carpet like the thermostat had just been changed out and no one bothered to clean up.

The staff was friendly, but the accommodations were not,had to take 2 separate elevators to our room, they don’t have their own parking, you had to park on street and pay or park in a garage 2 blocks away. It is not what you would think a Sheraton would be. The area is not ideal . Someone was smoking weed in the hallway all night, keeping us awake,we will not stay here again. Not to mention we had a view out of our window of all the air conditioning units on the roof, not ideal. I like to take walks when I stay at places, the homeless population in this area is abundance keeping me from doing that. A lot of abandoned buildings, homeless camping out, just not the cleanest and safest area.

Terrible. Checking in was pretty quick, but because there was some sort of convention going on the hotel was at max capacity and some people decided to get in the elevator way over capacity and the fire dept had to come , therefore they were down to 1 elevator for 9 floors and at max. 30 min wait times to get on/off. The convention basically took over the hotel and could not even enjoy sitting in lobby , outside, ect. Called down for towels early the next morning and never received them. Worst hotel stay and we stay at a lot. Also, homeless people all over right in front of hotel begging and workers kept telling them to leave. Would not recommend or stay there ever again.

Many unpaid guests in and out of the hotel the entire weekend. At one point a whole posse of people came into the pool area and had a party. Mostly people that were not staying at the hotel. Blaring rap music, extremely vulgar language and people fighting. Staff did nothing about this. 3. Homeless people hanging out in and around the hotel at all times. The carpeting in both the hallway and in the room needs updated. Walls could use fresh paint. The room had a very musty smell to it. The shower was very odd. Only hot water was available, no matter how you tried to adjust the handle. Which I guess was better than freezing cold? But it was so hot you had to jump in and out to keep from scalding yourself. The one nice thing I will say is that the bed was very comfortable at least. All in all though, it was a disappointing stay for the price.
