Terrible. Filthy. Skip this place at all costs. There wasn’t even a single working light bulb in the room. Filth on the floors and bed sheets and cigarette burns all over everything. I honestly can’t believe that Howard Johnson’s or Wyndham actually puts their name on this place. Entire hallways smells like cigarettes and weed (not stale, actively smoking). Doors banging all night long. I wish I could upload pictures.

Not enough towels, only two small pillows on a king size bed, lighting very poor and a rodent eat my wife's candy bar. To many people hanging around the building. Someone knocked on my door at 1:00 am without properly identifying themself.

The breakfast was 2 granola bars and juice, the doors would not close properly, no shower curtain, mice were running between rooms, walls were stained and it smelt like smoke. Wifi also non existent.

I informed at the reception about the rats and droppings I was told that room will be cleaned in sometime as I was again going out for some work. Room was the same as I returned so I had to leave the hotel as I don’t wanted smell the rat pee the whole night break was just granola bar orange and apple juice and coffee. Sorry to say but I did paid $75 per night for 2 days I stayed only I night and 3 hours I want my refund back if possible or guide me where to get refund from . People on reception have no idea about the property.

The rooms were extremely dirty. If you pay through a third party app, they place you in the lower end rooms. I stayed there for weeks, and I regret it. This place is mouse infested, the mice literally run right under the doors and all over the rooms. I even cleaned up rodent droppings while staying here. The entire staff acts as if they dont know what they are doing and they take advantage of people of color... The complimentary breakfast is a lie... they put out apple juice and water.

Only 2 TV child. The boarders were coming off the carpet. The room and entry to the hotel had a bad odor. Hot didn’t work. The continental breakfast was just juice. And it started late. Did enjoy the stay. The heat worked though I will say. The bathroom water spout leaked.

The first room they gave me smelled like urine and all the bed sheets are burned. The second room they gave me was just as bad and dirty as the first room. This place is a hazard. There are no smoke alarms and has wires exposed on the ceiling. There is also mice running around the floor.

The place was a mess. hallway carpet hadn't been vacuumed in ages, ceiling tiles were missing everywhere. The first room we were given the lights didn't work & one was hanging from the ceiling. In the second room, we had light, but they had no lamp shades.

This property was a unpleasant experience the bathroom was dirty the bedspread had stains on it looked like fingernails polish and a brown stain The bathroom door had a hole in it The room had a bad smell there was no elevator the chair was extremely hard and I just couldn’t sit in it Also the desk chair was s dirty I had to cover it with towels so I could sit in it.

The advertisement of the hotel was great though ratings was great. I get there. The room is in a disarray. There’s racks to put your towels and washcloths on. The breakfast area was nothing but juice in a container and some breakfast bars a mess. I will not be seeing there again.

Dirty comforter, absolutely no water pressure to take a shower. The hotel knows this which is why they list room as non refundable to literally rip ppl off renting a room they know is insufficient BEWARE!

Howard Johnson’s should remove their name from this property . Checked in at 15:00 and checked out at 15:30. I would not board my pet there. I have pictures, I want my money back!

Unfortunately not as advertised. The hotel is overtaken by illicit activity. I did not feel safe. There was blood and who knows what else on the bed (I just looked in the room and left). The night staff member I have to thank because he knew that it was not suitable. He tried to warn me by asking me to see the room first before he checked me in. It was really late and I was exhausted but he made himself clear. He accepted the cancellation with no problem. Thank you to this staff member for looking out for me. I hope you can move to a better environment.

Controls were not great

I had to come to town for a medical procedure so looked for something close to where my doctor’s office would be. I don’t know how the ratings for the place were so good. It was terrible, not cleaned and shady people. I booked a king non-smoking room and literally opened the door to a fresh smoked cigarette. Went and asked for another room, gave me a double bed instead. Can smell the smoke in there too but not within the last hour at least. But, room was dirty, the door did not seem secure, there was writing in magic marker on the bathroom mirror, mirror was broke and covered with tape, pubic hair on the toilet seat and the wall was holding up the small tv. Also burn marks on the stand the tv was resting on. The bed sheets were dirty and well. I told them I could not stay and checked out within 15 minutes of getting there. Worst Howard Johnson I’ve ever been to. I’d give negative stars if I could. 100% do NOT recommend

When I received a text message from them I called them to explain that the reservation was canceled they still found it in the system I said please cancel it I will not be able to make the trip the response was I can’t do that you must call expedia the phone number went to a sales pitch could not get a hold of them will not use you until you start provide phone numbers

The room was stink, I seen a mouse running around the hotel. There was a stinch in the room I couldn’t stay I gave my key back and just left. I couldn’t sleep and wasn’t at ease. The phone was not in the wall but in the drawer, the smoke detector was gone

Rundown and seedy

I checked in real late, the front desk was very polite. Checked me right in. The lobby looks fine. i walked upstairs to my room on the 2nd floor and was a lil freaked out. Its 3am, and there were some doors slighty open and the floors and walls are not very clean. Im tired so i just want to get into my room. The door was too small for the frame. There was about an inch of space all around the door... when i entered the room it smelt like someone was blowing cigarette smoke right into my face.. it was grose. I didnt want to go back to the lobby, im going to wait it out until morning. The bedding did not have bed bugs, i always check...however there were many cigarette burns and stains on the sheet and blanket... i.put towels on the bed,slept in my clothes and wore my sweater over my face as a filter. When the sun came up i changed rooms. Now im on the 1st floor not far from the lobby so i felt a lil more.comfort. I couldn't get the door open, so i went back to the front desk, and a maintenance man opened my door for me. He used his key flipped the door handle up and did 2 body slams into the door to get it open.... i said your joking right, this is how i have to open the door??? The room was cleaner and it didnt smell. He said most the doors are like that, and that i was in one of the better rooms :/ my coworker showed up and we stayed 5 nights. On Saturday Ppl hung outside my window, and i had strange nocks on my door, would not stay here by myself.

Very dirty disgusting didn’t stay left to another hotel

already checked what the positives. the actual room left mush to be desired. very poor condiitions as far as furniture that was falling apart, the carpet was filthy, the night stand was uncleaned. the king bed, had only 2 small pillows. limited bath towels present too. fluorescent light above microwave didn't work. there were no hangers for the closet. even with calm weather the wi-fi, was spotty and buffering constantly. that meant endless wait times on laptop, and terrible tv reception. no in-room phone to call desk for service. although the staff was helpful and friendly, i would never recommend this hotel to anyone, and i would certainly never book there again.

I never checked in when I learned there was no hot water. Since I had a reservation hotel could have notified me before I wasted time going to the location and having to find an alternate hotel. Front doors were wide open during a heat wave so suspect air conditioning didn’t work either.

This was the worse hotel ever. This needs to be removed. It is old, smelly, nasty, and not a good area. I would NEVER stay here again. The pictures are very misleading. We used a whole can of spray and the room still smelled. They have never cleaned that carpet.

The property was nice from the outside but that was the only highlight of this trip. We stayed at this location as it was fairly close to the cruise port which made it a convenient place to stay the night before our cruise. We walked in to find an almost friendly person working the front desk. As we entered just past the desk we saw buckets all over the floor that were catching the water that was dripping from the ceiling in numerous places. Then we had to watch walking to our room so we didn’t fall walking past the ice machine as it was leaking all over the floor. Entering our room was even worse. The room clearly was a smoking room at some point as it absolutely reeked of a cigarette. It was so bad we decided to take our suitcase and any belonging we could back to the car. There was no way we could sleep in that room with the smell. It was on everything. The beds, linen, towels, curtains. Everything. We ended up driving to the dollar store down the street and got 2 bottles of Fabreeze that we spayed constantly in the room. We could smell it in our hair and on our pajamas by the time we left in the morning. (Our pajama smelled the entire 10 day cruise). Breakfast was not any better. We ended up walking across the street to McDonald’s for breakfast as the only thing available to eat was a honey and oats granola bar. At this point no one trusted the water or juice they had out. There were only like 6 chairs in the breakfast table and one of the staff was sitting in a chair.

The property was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. The furniture was chipped with missing drawers. The bed the bedsheets were terrible. The quilt on top of the bed was too thin, and it has cigarette burns on it. The shade on the lamp was dirty and had holes in it. The AC cover was dirty and the window. The curtain was dirty and hanging off each end. My room had an adjoining door and the lock was broken. It was held close by a table there were no hangers in the room . The staff was not rude, but indifferent to the fact that we needed an additional blankets and a pillow. They said they didn’t have any. The carpet was dirty. It was just the most horrible hotel experience I have ever had. I’m allergic to cigarette smoke, my eyes were itchy. My throat was itchy. I have pictures of everything if you want to see them.

Pool was closed.. cops was always showing up.. the nicest thing about my stay was the price and the lady at the front desk. She was really nice and friendly.

It was awful. A dirty washcloth was on the floor when we came in. The breaker panel was painted over. A dirty sheet with a visible footprint was revealed once the comforter was turned down. The toilet paper holder was rusted out and no longer able to be used, the roll of toilet paper was the sink. I'm not sure what is growing on the mini fridge. The dresser had no drawer and was ready for garbage day. The tv stand/dresser had seen better days/nights. The odor of something foul filled the air. We left immediately.

The picture of the room does not look like the real room. The room was very run-down and with minimum furniture. The whole hotel smells of smoke. There is really no breakfast. Breakfast is supposed to be from 6:30 to 9:30 and we came down at 9:15. There was only "coffee" (no taste, almost like black water) in a thermos, a jar with water and another one with apple juice. When I asked about the food, they said they had run out. It really looked like there had been no food at any time. I do not recommend this hotel and I am surprised something of such low quality is even available via Expedia.

This place was filthy and so poorly maintained that I was shocked it even had a 2 star rating. Absolutely disgusted. No phone or clock in the room. The ac unit had its cover on the ground and was so blocked with debris that it barely worked. The mightstands drawer had been ripped out. The bathrooms doorknob was so loose it didn't shut. I found a used washcloth, complete with someones hair in the bathroom. The floor was sticky.

The headboard of the bed was broken, and they still rented the room, and the curtain was torn, so all the light came through the window. It was a bad experience.

It is not cheap the night . So it could be better looking. The people that work there are very nice that i do like a lot . I live in PA but my boyfriend work over there so i do need to stay at a hotel a lot.

The hotel is reasonable, however its not in the best location and this hotel has lots of roaches. The facility is quite old and outdated. The linen and beds are outdated. The hotel list breakfast included, however there were no breakfast.

Worst hotel I ever rented, Dirty/Nasty room, smell of Weed, no elevator, I rented it for two nights but stayed only for one hour and booked another hotel. Please don't even think about renting this hotel. Waste of money.

Had a working pool, hot shower, fridge and a bed. Under renovations - one wing should be completely closed, not through the whole place at one time. Filthy carpets, unsafe lighting, mouse bait in the 2nd floor room. Wood furniture was functional, but very scarred. No coffee maker, no breakfast. Would have cancelled if we had not prepaid. Take Lysol disinfectant, we did.

I didn't mind they were renovating. The room was unsafe. The door was previously kicked in and not teplaced. There was a hole in the ceiling inside the shower. No hot water. Someome was banged loudly on the door and several doors startling me out of my sleep at 8:30am. I told front desk. I got a sorry and a oh that was maintenance. I was going to stay another night but that place is horrible

Absolutely atrocious. Nothing like the pictures on the website. Holes in the walls, doors, chair and bed spread. Dirty carpet. Bugs. I have never felt the need to leave a hotel without staying the night after I spent my money to stay but I made it maybe 3 hours before I could not stand it anymore.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I understand rooms aren’t perfect but I couldn’t sleep in the room! The smell of urine was so strong as soon as you walk in and just lingered, the bathroom had holes in the wall and doors you could see through the hole of the door. The front door was very dirty and had blood on the door. Sheets had multiple holes in them too. There were so many other things wrong, if you need to stay here just be aware of how it really looks inside.

The Hallway smelled like onions. There was no breakfast as advertised. The blanket covers had numerous cigarette burn holes. The underside of the commode seat had a blood stain. The place looked aged. A Roach was present. Saw it twice.

Multiple items in the room are broken, including doors, walls, and fixtures. The carpet, bed, and bed sheets are old and in poor condition( smoke burned). The appliances are outdated, with the microwave even being rusted. Despite being advertised, no breakfast is provided. I would not recommend this place to anyone; it's disappointing to stay in accommodations of this standard.

The stench was very obvious as soon as the main door was opened. The carpets are extremely dirty which probably contributes to the smell. Paint was peeling off the dirty walls. The bathroom sink and entire bathroom was deplorable!

There was mold in the room. The bedding had holes. The molding where the carpet goes up the bottom of the wall was coming off. There were roaches in the room. The front desk was asleep. The room smelled stale and disgusting. The molding around the bed frame was broken and missing; leaving exposed nails.

I was in this room for all of 10 minutes. That's how long it took me to find another place to stay. The carpet was way past needing to b e replaced. The bed, if that's what you wanna call it, was maybe a foot high from the floor. The bed felt like it was made of straw, and should have been burned. I kept getting the feeling that bugs were crawling on my legs. When I went back out to the front desk, I asked if all the room were like that, they said yes. I checked out . I didn't even argue ab out paying! I have traveled across the US, many times! MANY TIMES. I have never refused to stay in a place. But I did this time.

Manager was very pleasant and respectful. Hotel needs to be cleaned more from the front lobby to the rooms. When I went to check the room after check in the comforters and bedding had cigarette burn holds in all the bedding. Besides customer service being pleasant I would never stay or recommend anyone to stay here again.
