Had two rooms, both never seemed to fully cool off. Stopper in sink for the 1st room was broken, so sink didn't drain. Staff was very helpful (and pleasant) though, moved us into a larger room right away. Breakfast was good. Check in and check out was smooth.

The first people that attended us were really nice and night shift guy was nice. There was just one of the staff that were a little bossy and would not allow us to be in the lobby area. He was always making us move to another area.

We stay in Hampton Inns often and this was the only poor one.

The staff was great. There were some minor repair needs to my room door lock, though the staff was attentive and great. I booked thinking I'd enjoy the pool on sunny days -- this is not an environment to 'lay for sun poolside' for which you'd think otherwise from the photo. It's fine for kids to have some downtime. Parking was well-lit. Breakfast bar was good, staff again was great. I wish hotels offering breakfast would offer less generic bland foods that are more institutional than of hospitality. i.e bland chicken sausage patties.. but to their credit, with a week stay, they did change it up daily in cholces. The area to eat and catch up on news, coffee was very nice. Also good is walkability to restaurants and basic shopping. Very convenient location. Roughly 30 min to DFW Airport.

The 4th floor smelled so bad. I thought it was maybe the ice machine but then realized that the smell was everywhere. The sink and the shower in the room, smelled like the water traps hadn’t been flushed or the building had an issue with its sewer line. I felt it was unsafe to use the water, so I ran out to my car, to grab bottled water, to ensure I had water to drink and water to brush my teeth and wash my face with. I’ll never stay there again. Had I not been so tired, I would’ve left the property. There was hair in the bathroom, in the shower and the sink. I know it’s an older building but that shouldn’t have anything to do with the level of cleanliness.

Check in on 3/1 about 4 PM was a bit rough, asked the gentleman on duty to move me to a different room to avoid the loud children next door as I had a 5 AM wake up. Got a song & dance about their not having a similar room available...no other king bed room in a 4 story building on a Sunday night with 25 cars or fewer in the parking lot...that does not ring true. Asked for a flat sheet, took 3 tries before the word "flat" registered with the gentleman at the desk. Flat & fitted sheets are visibly & tactally different! I know good help is hard to find, but good training is easy to arrange.

I was unable to travel due to the bad snow/ice storm and I contacted both the hotel and hotels.com to switch the dates by one week ...when the weather was better and I was told by hotel to contact hotels.com I contacted hotel.com and was told I could switch but it would cost me another 96.00 so I would be paying for two nights instead of one .. I was traveling to Tx and the company I was traveling to was closed.. my flight was cancelled.. I just wanted to switch the date and was told no..I will not be using hotels.com ever again. I had also purchased the protection plan.. what for???

The manager on duty was very friendly and professional. The water pressure is excellent. However, there was no conditioner in the bottle in the shower, the bed is very firm and uncomfortable and the TV is difficult to work. There was no TV Guide available, the channel button hardly worked at all, and you couldn’t punch numbers in on the channels, so you’ve had to very slowly scroll through each station to find something to watch

The property really nice and clean. It’s located next to everything and close to free way but away from the noise of it. The room was very clean and spacious. The microwave was super clean and so was the fridge.

The room was PERFECT—clean, comfy and quiet. Bathroom had good lighting, where many hotels don’t really bother. Breakfast had a nice selection of options. Lots of nearby shopping and restaurants, plus close to all major freeways in north Dallas. 100% recommend this hotel!

Neighbors kids a bit noisy too late, bathroom sink area too small, light above sink is placed too low so hard to see myself. Short a bath towel when checked in and light in tub area didn’t work. Really liked the two cup coffee maker. Nice full bar and evening food choices.

The room was very relaxing with dim lighting. Perfect for a getaway.

My sister and I were there for 3 nights and not once did the cleaning staff come into our room! And the shower went from very hot to painfully hot!! We could not adjust it at all to make it bearable! But, the front desk staff were extremely nice!

The parking area was pretty safe, but the bathroom was not very clean. The tissue box is half used and look like it had used tissues inside of it plus the bar soap holder on the sink was dirty with stains all over it. Other than that the room was nice

After approaching the. Heck in desk, it took about 29 minutes for me to get a key card and go to my room. After asking why it was taken so long ( the attendant had made multiple trips up the elevator to “check rooms” I was given attitude and a dirty look. Didn’t even want to tell me what room number I was in after giving me the key card. Most unprofessional hotel greeting I’ve ever experienced.

Shower doors wouldnt stay shut. Bed VERY uncomfortable with HUGE dip in middle. My husband and I kept rolling to the middle of the bed. No way to do laundry on site. You get the bare minimum in this clean hotel.

So my likes personally was the bed, it was very comfortable, the room was huge, the TV was big, and it was pretty quiet. Dislikes weren’t too major, however, the Internet totally sucks, being a gamer, I’m very big on hotels, having strong Wi-Fi, not only can I not connect my game, but I couldn’t connect my phone to the Internet either. But granted, I was already sleepy, so I didn’t bother me much, as I work on the road and it can be draining. Breakfast was meh, nothing really stellar about it, the biscuits were soft. The juice was really watered down, but decent. It’s gonna be a typical breakfast when you go to a hotel, for the price, I think it was a great stay, and the only thing stopping it from being a perfect day was definitely the Internet. I would stay here again if I needed a big room, though

Couldn’t get A/C to work using buttons on unit in room. Found out you use the thermostat on the wall. Also shower is different. Turning on the faucet, hot is first then cold. Excellent facility and people!

I changed this reservation after I booked it for that Wednesday. It saved when I changed it, but it didn’t save after I left Expedia site. Expedia tried to get them to put the charge for that Wednesday and they wouldn’t accept it, knowing I was there and needed a room. I left and booked the Holiday Inn Express next door. Much nicer building and staff!

However, when I asked for clean towels on the morning of December 26, the clerk said that he would take care of it. However, when I returned to my room that night, the clerk had not "taken care of it." I had to go back down to the night clerk and get a set of towels. A minor problem, but irritating when I thought that I could rely on the Hampton staff to do what they said that they would do.

Toilet was clogged spoke with front desk and they said they would send someone up as soon as they arrived so we deciced to unpack and go out for the day while it gets fixed. When we arrived back the toilet was still clogged and we also noticed the shower was a bit dirty. They offered to changed rooms after we unpacked everything. We ended up leaving a day and a half early.

The sheets looked clean, but were not crisp. They felt like they had been slept in.

The stay is good and just that washroom seems to be old or renovated.

The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the staff. Their welcoming attitude and friendliness stood out as exceptional, proving that good hospitality still exists even when other aspects fall short. Unfortunately, cleanliness was a major concern throughout the facility. The bathroom door in our room was particularly dirty, and we even found a used dental floss pick on the bathroom floor – an unacceptable oversight in room preparation. A thorough deep cleaning of the entire facility is urgently needed to meet basic hospitality standards. The staff was great and I enjoyed interacting with them. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. I only have two negative comments; the rooms are only cleaned every other day if staying more than one day. The shower water pressure was very low; on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest, the pressure was about 3.5, making it difficult to get the soap off oneself once applied. The staff was aware that some rooms were like this, but not all rooms. Lastly, the complimentary breakfast was very good. It would have been nice if breakfast items were available during the entire breakfast serving time. I entered the breakfast area 30 minutes before closing and the eggs, sausage and potatoes were all but gone. I asked if more was available and was informed, no.

We were there for a quick trip and no complaints about this property.

We got two rooms. The rooms smelled bad. My son said his room smelled of smoke. Ours smelled old and musty. There were two young men laying on the couches in the bar/cafe with their shoes off as you walk in the door. Did not see anybody working at the bar, so not sure if they were guests or workers? The desk clerk was nice. Lights went out in the whole place for about half a minute.

I didn’t like the hotel’s room cleaning” policy! We had to beg the front desk staff to clean our room the second day of our stay!!! He said he would try to see if the cleaning crew was still available to do it! This was really frustrating for us! Other than that we had a great time in the area. But unfortunately we will not be back because of the experience of the room cleaning!!

The property was clean and breakfast was good with a very helpful service. However reception was clearly short staffed. We had to ask multiple times for towels for both of our rooms.
