1- About the room, it was very comfortable and quiet during the night. Just one recommendation to keep improving. There were some dust behind the TV table, next to the 120V power split that connects a few devices(microwave, fridge and the TV ) 2- We (my wife and myself) were very well impressed with the front desk attendant's proactiveness during our check in. She followed us to the room to make sure that it had all the appliances and that they were working well. We made a quick check on everything and she went back to the front desk. Great job Mrs.(I don't have her name).

Sheets had holes in it. Bathroom sink was clogged with nasty stuff coming up. Bathroom walls had stains and mold looking marks. No fridge in room. Very noisy crowd staying. At check out there were 4 police cars in the parking/lobby area! Definitely not returning.

There was no breakfast. Its old & dirty looking place. While waiting pool side,We witness a women urinating, right in front of us inside the property . She was removed by police. Plus it's far from the airport. Staffs are the olny positive part of this place. We will never go there again. Too many lizards roaming around.

The staff is awesome! The property is adequate, but for the price in the area it is in, is surprisingly affordable. The Restaurant next door is incredibly affordable, and excellent food. Think NYC pizza from Sicilians, without the high cost. I will stay here again. The comp coffee in the AM was a nice treat!

Room was fine. Seem clean. Updated, parking was good..last night Other attendants, Very loud through all hours of the Early morning, NOT GOOD.

The sheets were clean and the staff was polite but if I hadn’t booked this online I would never have stayed here. This property is run down. All surfaces needed replacing 20 years ago.

Here’s the full review: “I was disappointed with my stay. The bathroom light couldn’t be turned off because a taped sign said ‘Do not turn off,’ lighting up the room all night. On top of that, the door lock broke, and I had to be let in by staff every time I returned. I stayed for two nights starting Friday, feeling uneasy about the security of my belongings and myself. To make matters worse, they told me the lock wouldn’t be fixed until Monday, well after my stay. Overall, a very unsatisfactory experience.” That’s direct and covers it all!

A place to lay your head and nice hot water pool area nice has elevator nothing special

Just smelled pot being smoked. Not much good to say about it except it was cheap in an expensive area.

Check in was fast and easy. Staff was friendly at 11pm checkin.

With the exception of a clump of long hair in the shower and the floor has a dirty film on it. Every time I stepped on the bath mat... it stuck to my feet. That didn't happen after I take a shower. Other than that, the room was okay.

Hole. No hot water. Bugs. Absolutely horrendous. The 1 star os because it was cheap. Lesson learned.

Mattress was very comfortable. Linens and towels were questionable. Staff was excellent.

I asked for a hair dryer as the rooms are not equipped with them, and o was told by the staff member that it was the 2nd time in her 5yrs of employment someone asked for one and that the hotel didn’t own any. If you are staying without a vehicle (we flew in) you will need to urber to any shopping areas you wish to go to as nothing is close by.

Although the hotel is older it has a elevator, the mattresses were comfortable and quiet. The room smelled fresh and wifi was good. For the price it was more than I expected.

How is terrible to sleep in?

I was informed upon check in that my rate had gone up; after having pre-paid they wanted $30 more for the night. This was when I arrived so late due to unforeseen circumstances and they thought I'd pay the upcharge. I did not and left with a "refund" of $50. I'm out over $200 now.

The staff was very pleasant no complaint there. This property should be considered a Motel not a hotel. This property is old like I think Abraham Lincoln may have stayed here. I had duct take sealing my door. The beds were more like military cots. The mattress had springs digging in my back with a bar going across as well. We just left at 4 AM because we couldnt sleep. The room was clean so staff doing there best. The AC was smaller then my laptop and louder then a jet plane. I know its hard to fund a independent and owners probably doing there best but it needs some investments its in a decent area.

My experience was terrible, the room was very old , in need of renovation, the bed was a spring bed from the early sixties and there was noise from adjoining rooms all night long. The washing machine in the hallway was on all night and my room tv would not function. There was no iron in the room . Do not stay here. Hotel was built in the sixties.

Room was kind of ok but there was a lot of noses coming from the Room above me and my room was close to the Landry room people were going back and front couldn't sleep and earlier in the morning there was lot of people talking very loud in the parking lot i didn't sleep at all.

Amazing staff and clean room

Check in was great. Lady was very nice. Room was dated, but very clean. Outside was run down and elevator was not working. I have a very hard time navigating stairs due to a disability, so this was very frustrating. 1st floor rooms were full. Ended up on 3rd floor. I understand that these things happen. Overall, it was an okay place to sleep.

This was one of the worst motels I’ve ever stayed at. There was a roach in the bathroom and the paint was pealing. Didn’t even feel comfortable enough to take a shower or in zip my luggage. It was too late to find anything better. 0 stars

No plug for computer - had to put computer on chair to reach electric outlet. No room for cosmetics in bath area - no place to plug in electric toothbrush - absolute worst hotel accommodations

Unfortunately, my stay did not meet expectations. The room itself was very outdated and appeared unkept, which immediately stood out given the price of the hotel. The bathroom especially could have been cleaned more thoroughly. While the customer service was friendly and professional, I did experience an inconvenience upon arrival when my room key did not work and I had to return to the front desk for assistance. Overall, the cost of the hotel did not align with the quality of the room, which was disappointing.

Did not use the pool, rooms were great for the price. Stephanie helped with check in and was able to check us in a little earlier after getting off the cruise ship.This is not your fancy hotel and for an older property the room was equipped with a medium size refrigerator and microwave with a comfortable bed. We will definitely stay here on our next cruise out of Fort Lauderdale.

Great, relatively inexpensive option. There was a coin laundry right outside our room. Dryer was $2 for like 30-45 minutes. Almost nobody at the pool, and it has a nice view of the canal. Our room didn't have a fridge or a trashcan for some reason, but there were huge trashcans with the laundry area. I chose mostly for the ample free parking (had two cars and lot was only half full) and proximity to beach. Would definitely stay here again.
