Love this hotel. Super clean and close to everything, with easy parking!

Amazingly close to the beach. The manager, Annette, was lovely and upgraded my room to an upstairs poolside since I was a single woman traveling alone. My room was perfect. They had chairs and towels for the beach. So nice to walk to the beach and pier for food and entertainment. So quiet and relaxing. I will definitely be back!

Hidden gem! This property is groomed so well and so clean it’s amazing. The location is steps to the ocean and close to great restaurants, grocery and shops. The pool is sparkling, room was spacious with a full kitchen, beds were comfortable and the bathroom was designed well and had a walk-in closet. I know why is receives 5 stars….it’s a treasure. Would DEFINITELY stay again!!

I was skeptical, as it’s a “motel”. But AMAZING! Quiet, newly renovated, clean, easy. Has all you need for a stay. Does not have any on site meal items, but food and food stores are only a 2 block walk. Very well maintained property. I would absolutely stay again!

This is an old school motel is excellent condition. The rooms are update and clean. The property outside and building are clean and up to date.

Everything was amazing except for the beds you can feel the springs in them I didn’t sleep all night neither did my husband or 19 and 16 year old daughters but we loved it overall.

The room was spacious 2 bed. Very clean. Kitchen fully equipped. Staff was very friendly and polite. Definitely would return when in this area again and recommend. Beach was within walking distance near shipping n food area.

One of the best places I've stayed in awhile. Get a room with kitchen, if not no coffee maker. But the owner fix me a delicious cup each morning. Great place, pool heated.

Room was super cute and clean. The young pretty lady who checked me in actually lives on the property so she makes sure the guests are taken care of. The pool was right outside our room and the beach is a very short walk out the back .

Stayed here while visiting Family. Close to ocean and walking distance to fishing pier and shops and food. Room was big with couch, chairs, big bed, large dressing area and large bathroom. Nice pool.No frills and i was ok with that.

This place was pristine. The staff was super friendly. Very clean room, and the beds were comfortable. And all of our for a very reasonable price I will absolutely stay here again.

Hard working family keeps this place spotless! Has everything you need at a very convenient location just a short walk to the beach! Very quiet and probably attracts an older crowd but a great value with the kitchenette very handy to cook up a breakfast or lunch. Parking is included and is right onsite too.

We had a wonderful little stay at Surf Side Resort, I was in town as a vendor for a tiki gathering and was looking for a quiet affordable place nearby. Surf Side was exactly what I was looking for! The place was spotless, quiet, with a lovely pool, ample free parking and a 3 minute walk to the beach!

Annette was very nice but responsable about to every guest follow the resort rule, and we like that, because this is the only way to keep this gem beautiful.

I have traveled all over the world with my work and the accommodations that the workers made for my girlfriend and I while we were there were incredible. Fantastic property, clean and close to the beach.

Everything was perfect, except for we were unable to receive our grandchildren (5yo, 7yo and 11yo) because of the policy of the hotel wich btw wasn't reflected in expedia page.

Across street to beach, very relaxing stay

The motel was very clean and location perfect for going to beach and then in evening to walk to pier. Our room was a corner room and was a little more light coming in at night but minor. Very quiet and would stay there again.

Upkeep of property, half block to beach, were main things we liked.

Very good location, easy to find, and parking is along the entire side so never had any issue finding a space. Parking is free. The owners maintain everything very well. The outside of the resort looks like it was just completely painted but I have the feeling they just keep it in good shape always. Even the landscaping around each parking space is perfectly trimmed and nice looking. Nice little pool and seating area. There's a street made of pavers behind the resort (between A1A & the beach) that goes the full length to the big pier (over half a mile I'd guess). Makes for a nice walk anywhere you want to go along Pompano Beach.

Location is wonderful. This is a motel. That being said, it's fine. Our AC unit was very noisy and they tried to fix it. Pool lovely. Sitting area nice. Quiet place, so if you're looking to chill it's great. No coffee pot in economy room.

I was very pleased with my choice to stay at Surf Side Resort. It was my first trip alone and I felt very safe. It was a choice between one of the bigger Hotels and this one but with all the excellent reviews and the price I was impressed. So very clean and comfortable. Thank You!

Great location steps from public beach access, clean, but very poor wifi.

It’s kept very clean and it is very quiet. Very wonderful staff, no charge for parking right outside my door was the highlight of my year. Short walk to the (uncrowded part) of the beach is fantastic as is the pool 😁

This motel was perfect for a weekend getaway with my mom and daughter. The hotel was very clean and the owners are very attentive and accommodating. The room has everything you need in the kitchen - full refrigerator, microwave, sink, stove and oven. I loved that the shower and toilet were separate from the bathroom sink so people can get ready while someone was showering. The pool/courtyard area had a lot of tables, chairs and palm trees (which were lit up at night to make a cute atmosphere). The pool itself is big enough to swim, and it was very clean and warm. The motel is far away from the busy areas by the public beach and downtown, but within walking distance so you can still enjoy all those places have to offer. It was also a very short walk to the beach. All you have to do is cross through a cobblestone road/driveway and you're at a quiet place on the beach away from the crowds. This place was perfect for a quick relaxing weekend getaway. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

It was very close to the beach, it had a pool, it was very clean, the cleaning staff were amazing, the owners obviously took pride in the property. The property was walking distance to all amenities, including groceries, the canal, restaurants etc. One could easily get around on bicycles. Would stay again.

The moment we chdckes in, Annette was nice. The room we stayed in was very clean and smell fresh. Furnitures were new, pots and pans were clean and not cheap. Pool was well maintained. The beach was very close by. It’s peaceful and quiet. We will be definitely coming back. This will be our go to place every time il have a week long day off from work. So relaxing

We only stayed overnight but it was easy to find food and beverage within a short walk. The beds and pillows were comfy and the entire place looked well taken care of. Easy to check in with friendly staff.

The motel was very well maintained and impeccably clean. It was well equipped and very close to a public beach access, had a beautiful pool and sitting area, and was very convenient to drive to and from, with adequate parking on site.

Love this place!

Absolutely beautiful property, such a cute and quaint old school motel style. So clean, the rooms are so nice and spacious! My only issue was the lack of hospitality, If you aren't out of your room by 10:15am they charge for another day. I was walking out of the room at 10:03 when the lady who runs the place stopped by, looked at her watch, and asked if I was almost done. I then felt like my car was going to be towed when I left it there to walk down to the beach with my kids so we cut that short. We weren't there when it was busy, there was maybe 5 cars in the parking lot the nights we stayed. This place just wasn't a place that I'm going home and raving to friends and family.

The next night we stayed in a studio room, which was a little more expensive, but it was certainly roomier and the air conditioner was in a much better location. Also the studio had a bathtub/shower instead of just a shower. The rooms seem a little old school, but they are clean and well kept. The pool area with a plaza is nice, and perhaps the crowning achievement of the hotel is that it is less than a one minute walk to a nice beach. I would stay there again, but definitely in a studio room and not a regular room.

We loved the Surf Side Resort! My wife works remotely for a South Florida business, and when she has to be at the office for meetings I typically travel with her since my work can be done from anywhere. We normally stay at a typical business hotel near her company. This time she had several appointments in the North Lauderdale / Coral Springs area, so we decided to stay near the beach... and this place was perfect! Lots of space in the room. Very short walk to the beach, a nice quiet pool area, so many wonderful eating places nearby. We will return!

No frills but clean and friendly atmosphere. Close to beach and easily accessible. Wish the provided coffee for the coffee maker, but otherwise it was a nice stay.

No breakfast included but there is a stove ! The room are comfy and very clean But I wouldn't call it a resort more like a motel The staff is from Europe friendly and efficace !

Great place to stay ! So clean everywhere . Only downside was no vending machine for water or sodas or coffee machine in room . Owners are very friendly . Would definitely stay here again !

Nice quiet smaller place. Everything was great except on Orbiz it states they are located on the beach but the hotel is not but is easily accessible so we were somewhat disappointed as this was one of the reasons we chose it.

The room was very clean and spacious. The beds aren't great but still comfortable enough. Beach is nice and close. There was a lot of seaweed while we were there but that has nothing to do with the quality of our room. I would recommend this place.

It rained while we were there so we couldn’t appreciate the surroundings. They offered house keeping yet there’s a sign ‘ if dishes were left out there was going to be a fee!’ Could do with a hairdryer. No good coffee maker so we had to go out and get coffee! It’s a motel not an Inn which we discovered too late ☺️

Our stay was fantastic. Nice and quite. Very short walk to the beach. Beach was not crowded. Room was very clean and comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. Some nice restaurants within walking distance and very nice restaurants a short drive away. It was exactly what my wife was hoping for. I got major points with my wife for planning this get away.

Immaculately clean- perfect location. Only problem was that the bed was painfully uncomfortable and the loss of sleep affected our trip.

Bring or buy your paper towel, napkins, coffee and filters which aren't supplied.

Room was very clean and inviting. Only criticism was no tissues and toilet paper was thin, obviously inexpensive. Other than that we would definitely return here.

Great place. Super clean. Just a block to the beach. Small.pool. get a pool side room if you want to easily jump into the pool when it's empty and use the patio. Or get a parking side place if you don't want quiet. Owners are very friendly and kind.

Clean, beach access, spacious room, good location.

This is the best place to stay, in Pompano. The service is amazing, the rooms are comfortable and so clean. The pool area is delightful. My husband and I had a very enjoyable stay. We will definitely go back again.
