Beautiful gardens and plantings that need to be taken care of. Would add another level of awesome.

Close to where i was Old place. Bad customer service. Double billed me and blamed booking.com. Said they can’t do anything to help me. Gave me a room that was occupied and I had to go back for a different room.

Breakfast typical nothing special. It’s a pet friendly hotel but it’s definitely missing some pet friendly areas. Location not very friendly for walks either.

When we arrived at the hotel, the administrator who was at the front desk was very rude.I asked to show me the room in which I will live. He was very indignant and waved his hands.When I entered the hotel, there was a very unpleasant smell. Therefore, I decided to check the condition of the room. The room was exactly in this condition. I I said that I would not live in this hotel, I would go to another one.The picture I saw on the site does not match what I saw live. Therefore, excuse me, but living in such a room for such money is indecent.Please refund the amount of my payment, which I transferred via card, because I will not live in this hotel.tank you.

Room was very clean and very comfortable. We faced away from the street si it was quiet as well. Parking was fine. Breakfast was excellent. If you have mobility issues make sure you tell the staff at check in. There are no elevators here.

The balcony is huge, but bring your own folding chairs. There were a couple of items that needed repair in the room, but the staff was pleasant when I mentioned them at check-out.

I ended up needing to charge my Tesla at their 1 only available semaconnect charger and was a little disappointed at the lack of convenience with that system. The price is also a bit higher for a level 2 system. Was able to charge so that I would say is a plus.

Wow the staff here went above and beyond to make my experience amazing. I had scheduled a stay here so that I can wake up in the morning and go have a proctored for our exam. I had a weird experience with the first room that I was given and was not feeling too comfortable with my situation. The staff went above and beyond and we're happy to accommodate me and made my stay incredible. I'm very grateful to them. I would recommend this place and I would stay here again and again. The grounds are beautiful the pool and the jacuzzi were amazing. My bed was super comfortable.

It is super nice place for solo travelers

Booked a room for a nearby hospital outpatient procedure. Lovely property. Top floor on the highway slopes down to the creek. Our double king room on the first floor opened onto the inner courtyard complete with miniature arboretum and large fountain water pond. Excellent quiet, available amenities. Bookmarking this Best Western as a new one of my favorites.

Room amenities were perfect for a family with young kids. The outdoor pool and hot tub sit in a lovely garden area with a fountain and shaded seating, and the hot tub temperature was perfect. Breakfast offered a good mix of hot and cold items, including a yogurt dispenser with toppings. The dining area was spacious with plenty of seating. Parking was free and plentiful. Area looked safe but dark at night.

Everything was amazing during our stay from check in check out. We were there for four days and it went amazing. Breakfast was great. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Parking was not a hassle at all. Room was great clean and spacious and comfortable.

Carpet in common hallway was very very old and in need of desperate update. It seems like they use a unique cleanser to clean the hotel as it had a pungent odor that was not terribly Pleasant. The soap in our hotel room left me with an itch. I'm not certain if the soap was old or if something was wrong with it. Free breakfast was free but very basic. Parking was free. I'm saying this is a get what you pay for a situation. It is a fair option for those on a budget, location was safe and not far from downtown. There is a fitness room and a swimming pool. We use the fitness room but it stunk seriously. There is a freshwater with a water filter in the fitness room. The water filter was blinking that it needed to be changed. Water tasted strange but I'm not sure if this is just a flavor of Portland Water. This is one of those hotels where despite what I have written above I would still stay again just in a different room.

The pool is really warm and we enjoyed it at night while watching the stars.

Nice room, got eight hours sleep

The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was amazing and so helpful. I would also compliment the restaurant/bar. Highly recommend for food and drinks. It was everything I could ask for and then some! My days were spent in a local hospital while my mom had surgery. Coming back to the hotel was like coming home. It was comfortable and peaceful. Thank You!

I reserved a king room and without even asking, they put me in a double bedroom. When i told them i wanted a refund and to cancel the room, they refused and said i would have to contact hotels.com. The room was disgusting and dirty. The bathroom was not clean at all. The chair had stains all over it and the location was in a terrible neighborhood.

Breakfast staff was phenomenal. The eggs were the best at any best western location. The pool and jacuzzi being advertised as open, but locked up for maintenance throughout our entire stay. Even the staff didn't know why it was down. The bed was too stiff and the mini-refrigerator was constantly making noises.

Everything was ok, unfortunately if given the opportunity I would not have stayed here. I was refused a date change with no reason given which ruined our birthday plans for my disabled brother. Refrigerator had to be replaced and when checking out front desk staff very unfriendly. Breakfast choices were very good.

We picked this location because it was close to Providence St. Vincent hospital. Needed a few hours sleep while dealing with a death in the family. Staff was extremely accommodating and empathetic. Room was clean and convenient. Room was right on the road

We ultimately cut our trip short and decided to leave early, which says a lot. The hotel feels like a “sleeper” property, not suitable for long stays and not good value for the price. The building is very old and poorly maintained, with visible signs of neglect throughout. Windows felt unsafe — many appear to have broken original latches and rely only on temporary metal locks, which raised serious security concerns. The lobby and room access layout is confusing, especially for families. As a family traveling with 10 pieces of luggage, it was extremely inconvenient that there were no luggage carts and no staff available to assist. Guests are forced to carry everything up and down multiple flights of stairs. No elevator, which makes the property impractical for families, elderly guests, or anyone with heavy luggage. Carpets are dirty and clearly overdue for replacement. The swimming area and garden are no longer maintained and look neglected. No readily available drinking water — we had to walk all the way to the gym area just to find water. The toiletries provided felt like old stock, and my wife was uncomfortable using them. Overall, the hotel lacks the basics that make a stay comfortable and convenient.

Questioned my ADA needs, Cable kept going out for bowl games, freezing room, hallways reaked of marijuana. Strip club and pot shop next door, no staff, areas closed, breakfast sparse.

Bathtub was dirty upon arrival with hairs inside, water pressure and heat was weak. Had the water all the way up to hot for 10 minutes and didn’t heat up to a comfortable temperature at all, even during shower. The power went out for several hours and the property refused to compensate in any way at all, even though I paid full price for full service. No partial refund, voucher, coupon or anything that would compensate for the inconvenience. I picked this hotel because it was closest to the hospital I was getting surgery at, and I was one day out of surgery and had to sit in a cold and dark hotel room for hours. They served unripe fruit at breakfast. Not worth it for the price. There’s no elevator and rooms are on a large hill, so it is not ADA accessible.

Booked this hotel because it was closest to the hospital I was getting surgery at. Stayed one night after my procedure and the power went out for several hours. Hotel refused to compensate in any way at all because they “had to uphold their cancellation policy.” I was one day out of surgery, sitting in a cold and dark hotel room for hours in agony. Definitely do not recommend if you expect to be compensated for any mishaps that happen at their fault.

I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to wander up to the lobby and assist me. I tried calling the listed number, but I couldn't hear any incoming phone ringing in the building. After getting to the room, we found pubic hairs all over the bathtub. The floors were not clean enough to walk barefoot on, and my initial request for extra pillows upon booking was not accommodated. Within the first hour, our toilet was clogged. We tried calling the front desk again, but had to walk to the lobby to ask for a plunger or some help. We were told that the maintenance person might be able to help, but didn't say when. We asked when it would be addressed and were told it might be in a few hours, when he arrived. We asked if we could get a plunger and handle it ourselves, and eventually, housekeeping brought us one wrapped in a plastic shopping bag. The following morning, we attempted to contact the front desk again, but there was never any answer. We had to drive to the lobby to speak with someone, but we ran into a similar issue to the night before: there was nobody at the front desk. We tried calling again, but no one answered. When someone finally appeared, we mentioned the issue with trying to call since last night with no answer. The person at the front desk was adamant that there was no issue with the phone. We made a few simple requests, specifically asking that housekeeping leave our beds as-is and bring pillows. Our beds were made, but the floors or pubic hairs weren't cleaned up.

Everything was good but the shower....worst water pressure ever! Breakfast was great!

A quiet place to stay

Rooms and corridors had weird smell. Bedsheets were not very clean. Amenities were fine. Staff was good but I feel the condition of this particular Best Western is not as per the standards.

Room was immaculate and house cleaning were incredible. The front desk was OK although they weren't in the mood to upgrade to a closer room to the lobby in spite of a lot of empty rooms. The biggest bummer was that Lou's Cigar Lounge is no more, a nice little feature that made the hotel one of my go-to favs. Heard that Lou past away and took the gem with him.

Check in was fast and friendly. Beautiful gazebo, pond and fountain. Nice pool. Bed was comfortable. Our room was spacious. We had a kitchenette and there wasn’t any paper towels or tea towels. No dish soap or dishwasher soap. Dishes were left in the dishwasher. The outdoor patio had spiderwebs and the chairs were filthy. Garbage left on the patio.

The next morning, before I took a shower, I saw an ant on the outside of the tub and several more inside the shower. I brought this to the attention of the front desk, and the manager kindly offered to move us to another room. However, by that point, the experience had already been ruined, and we decided to stay elsewhere. Although I had paid for two nights and checked out by 11 a.m., I was informed that a refund for the second night would not be issued since a room change was offered. While I understand this decision from a business standpoint, I believe a more flexible approach would have been appropriate given the cleanliness concerns and discomfort caused by the ant issue. A compromise in this situation would have gone a long way in preserving customer satisfaction.

Hotel was clean. Stuff friendly. A lot of places to eat around the hotel. The restaurant and bar inside of the hotel was good and convenient. Facility has a nice pool, garden around, nice kiosk, Jacuzzi.

The man that checked us in was extremely chipper and welcomed us as soon as we walked in. He was very polite and easy to talk with. Such a great way to start our evening!

Just basic motel!

There are 5 buildings so you sort feel as if you are on a college campus with parking all around. The location was convenient to restaurants and shops (less than 10 min). Traffic can be a bit hectic if you are traveling to downtown, but again it was a straight shot off the hwy. We will be back to this location... Kudos to all the staff from the front desk, to the custodial staff, housekeeping, and the grounds crew.

Our accomodations were excellent, but the upstairs neighbor was doing international business and pacing the floor at 11pm, 1am, 3am while on the phone. Once we told the office, the noise complaint was handled quickly and efficiently.

The biggest downside to this hotel is that it’s on a STEEP hill and has no elevators. Prepare to hike uphill anywhere you need to go. I highly advise against this property for anyone with mobility issues.

It was close to so many things! I will definitely stay here again.

One of the very nicest Best Western facilities I've ever been at - the staff were incredibly nice and professional, my room was spacious, perfectly clean and entirely comfortable and best of all, the atmosphere was quiet and calm. Breakfast was good and plentiful in a lovely dining area and they have an outstanding bar/restaurant for late afternoon or evening times as well.

The property has changed owners and some of the things that drew me to the hotel are no longer there: a great neighborhood bar (I used to live in the area) with an excellent and varied menu a full bar with long standing employees. The room was clean and newly remodeled- the sheets still have a weird smell to them- that hasn't changed. The grounds look better- trimmed and green, but the constant piped music in the outdoor area is tedious but likely some patrons like it. Staff was helpful. I hope you get a full bar and a great restaurant in there. I will be back to see what the changes are.

Everything was muddy around the property is difficult to take our pet dog out to relieve himself. The vinyl floors in the pet friendly rooms were slippery and unsafe for small dogs who would come up and jump off the bed as dogs do other than that. It was pretty good stay for the price

Yhere was a problem with the thermostat but it was fixed after a little wait. Overall a good experience. The staff was nice. There was even enough coffee in the room for the full stay.

Ester at check in was amazing. I was a little early and she made sure I could check in. She even let me store my baggage in the lobby while I walked down to Budget (5 min walk by the way) to pick up my rental car! The room was clean and the house maids refresh it daily. Breakfast is included and has a bunch of options to start your day! Unlimited free coffee in common lounge area and at breakfast. I would definitely stay here again!

The place was well-kept and attractive. We had dinner at the restaurant because it was convenient, but it turned out to be quite good! We appreciated the laundry facility and enjoyed the spa and the garden. Staff was friendly and competent. We would return to this hotel if in the area.

Hotel was great, super clean and comfortable, all I have to add is that your enter sign needs to be lit as it is not too noticeable from the road and its a pretty sharp turn in when you can't see it

Housekeeping came only once and didn't take out the big bag of food trash that I had set aside, nor empty/take out the melted ice container (which I actually wanted to use again). The common areas were hot (AC units seemed old), carpet was stained, worn out, and the hotel as a whole seemed run down. The people I did interact with were kind, although I knew even before the booking change time/date that I needed to cancel my last day, and both Expedia and the property were of no help. Safe to say, I won't be back.

Customer service at the front desk needs improvement. They gave me the impression that they were doing me a favor. The room TV did not change channels. The volume buttons on the remote worked, channel surfing did not.

I thought the hotel had a nice layout, beautiful landscaping, and was quiet. The restaurant food and drinks were great, and the free breakfast was exceptional. Even the fitness center was pretty modern. Thank, BW!
