If you have an early flight out of PDX, this is a perfectly fine place to stay. The staff was great! It’s not deluxe, but the rooms are large, clean and comfortable.

Overall great experience. Not a great night sleep, the thermostat was across the room and on other side of partial divider from the cooling unit. During the night first you would get hot, then when it kicked on you would get cold before it registered with the thermostat and kicked off again.

What I liked about the Hyatt Hotel property was the welcoming atmosphere, professional staff, and overall cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, and the amenities made the stay enjoyable and convenient. I also appreciated the attention to customer service and the relaxing environment throughout the property. The location and overall presentation of the hotel made it a great experience. I do not have anything negative to say.

Tile, broken and shower floor closet door off track bathroom floor had urine on. It showed pictures to front desk.

Nothing , when I first arrived I had prepaid my booking. When I arrive at the front desk the lady told me I had to swip my card for a deposit. Without hesitation I swipe my card and she was attempting to charge my card $317.00. Luckily I use online banking like PayPal and venmo and I don't use my normal bank account. There policy is once it's paid you can't get the funds back. So that threw the first red flag I instantly started to think this lady just attempted to scam me . Because it clearly shows the room has been prepaid. Plus the room was $269.64. not $317.00 . Then I paid an extra $50.00 for deposit. When I booked this room it said free breakfast on the listing before I paid for it. Now when I contacted the hotel they claim it did not come with breakfast and so they charged me $33.00. for three individuals who ate. Okay , so they're that hard up for money I noticed all the other hotels have abandoned their sites as it's a ghost town by the Portland Oregon airport. Needless to say they tried to rip me off an extra $317.00 and when I called the person refused to provide me her name for legal purposes and instead started to get defensive and argumentive to the point she hung up on me all for asking what her name was because when I go back to there hotel to speak with their supervisor I'd be able to let them know exactly who I was talking with. If they had nothing to worry about then giving her name would not be a big deal.. So they sent me a bill and it's only $33.00 they refuse to send me my deposit not even the remaining amount after they run a false advertisement. This was my first and last stay at this particular hotel . I'll be contacting corporate about this incident to further making sure all customers are treated equally and are not swindled out of there hard earned money. Mistakes dont happen like that unless your a drug addict and have no brains left to think . I didnt like the fact that looks are deceiving. Nice on the outside shitty everything else on the inside. I can't believe the CEO allows this crap . Id have taken photos but I didn't want to remind myself how I waisted my life my time and my money on this garbage . I'd rather eat at the homeless shelter at least when they say it's free they mean it's free and it don't cost you $319.64 and a headache. So your to that staff member who decided to try to rip me off and who took my deposit claiming I owe $33.00 yet won't return the remaining. You can keep it, hopefully they fire you and you'll be able to use it for the bus fair to get to your next job . ???

I love the convenience of this hotel to PDX airport. I had a bookended stay and really love that I can just leave my car and it feels secure there. Parking rate is excellent. Love the spacious and clean rooms, the early coffee downstairs, reliable WiFi, friendly staff :) And I LOVE the real glass ware and mugs in the room - thank you!!

Cascade shopping center is across the street and Target nearby. Very convenient.

The view from the room was the mechanical ventilation for the laundry. Lint all over the roof area that the room looked onto. Plus the noise from the vents. Staff was helpful. Hotel just a 5/10 overall. Kind of disappointed for Hyatt standards.

Love the spacious rooms and the shuttle to the airport in the morning. Also appreciate that coffee is available very early. Comfy bed, clean room, and I particularly like that there are real glass and ceramic mugs in the room. Thank you!

This hotel is well kept and very clean, the rooms are spacious and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the mattress was not hard. Breakfast in the morning was very good. We will definitely stay here again.

Do not stay here, your car will not be safe. I stayed one night for a flight the next morning and my car window was broken out. Not only that but another one damaged. So now I have to replace two car windows, &the start of my vacation was so rocky. I will say the staff was great at helping cleaning the glass up. However, I left my contact info for the manager we left messages and absolutely no response was received. Needless to say, I will absolutely not be staying here again. The managers lack of professionalism and non responsiveness is what sealed it for me. Thanks for nothing.

Staff barely acknowledged us at check in and check out. Room was spacious but perfunctory, small stains on furniture and carpet. The AC/Heat unit was something out of the ‘70’s - so loud that I tried to sleep with a pillow over my head, until I turned the unit off in the middle of the night. Not the good nights sleep I was hoping for before an early morning flight.

Everything was great. It was a quick stop, just one night prior to jumping over to the airport. Bed was a bit squishy but otherwise perfect.

Did not attend breakfast as it is now $11 per person. At my last stay it was free. I also requested a microwave for my room to which the receptionist told me there was one in the lobby I could use and no microwave was brought to my room. It has never been an issue at my previous stays.

The room was fine although a little chilly and the thermostat would only work on Cool. The noise from the airport all throughout the night was awful. There should be better insulation. I was charged for parking, and notified of a charge for breakfast, which I declined. In the past, those were included in the price of the room. The lids for the coffee cups did not fit the cups. The staff confirmed this yet, they left them out to be used. Wasteful and frustrating.

Always a clean room. Great pool and hot tub for families with children. The morning shuttle to the airport was convenient. We love that the parking lot is well lit and IKEA is nearby.

Skip the breakfast though, it was rough. IHOP is two doors down.

Hotel smelled very stale and dirty. Room wasn’t very clean. Toilet was loose. With two toddlers in tow we didn’t have the luxury of complaining and switching rooms. We wouldn’t go back.

Our room was huge with a great design for the work area that didn’t disrupt my partner's sleep. We didn’t require breakfast so no comment to that.

This hotel near the airport that was great for a stop over. I have a toddler and they had lots of nice free gear available, I borrowed a noise machine. They also have a crib and other items. The pool and hot tub were a nice bonus and the parking was quick and easy. The mattress was comfy and they had a mini fridge which I appreciated. Also the breakfast was surprisingly good! I’d recommend!

Room was fairly clean. The tub faucet in the bathroom was coming unattached from the wall. Hotel was in a very convenient location to food and shopping.

This is an excellent option if you want to be close to the airport. The complimentary shuttle was excellent. The room was clean, comfortable, and efficient. Ambiance was utilitarian and a bit corporate, though staff was quite cordial and helpful. The bed was superb!

I had issues with that night front desk staff because their system was down and they took over 20 minutes to get me a room then gave me the wrong room. The next more they doubled charge me for a stay that I already paid for but luckily the morning staff was much better and talk to the manger and they were able to help me.

We enjoy this hotel. The size of the rooms is a bonus. The air conditioning works well. The parking is excellent and affordable. We didn't use the pool, but might if we stay here again in the future. The breakfasts used to be included, along with one night of parking, and that now comes with a fee. We enjoy the ceramic cups for coffee. There used to be wine glasses in the rooms also, but not this time.

We stayed briefly overnight to be able to get on a flight the next morning, everything about the hotel was fine.

My concern was check-in. I requested in my reservation that there be no feathers/down in the room. When I called from the airport for the shuttle I confirmed with the front desk and the staff agreed that my request was noted on my reservation. When I arrived, there were 4 feather pillows and a down comforter on the bed. One of the pillows had small (appearing to be) bloodstains. I promptly moved the bedding to the hall and called the front desk. The staff apologized and I let them know the items were in the hall as I am very allergic to feathers and have a reaction that gives me an instant headache and causes breathing difficulties. Everything else about my stay is good. In the time it took for me to wait for the shuttle the bedding could have been changed (at least verified as hypo allergenic). This tired traveler’s lungs are still recovering.

The flooring in the hallways was getting a little threadbare. Other than that, the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The alarm clock went off at 2:30 am and at that time I realized how hot it was in the room. I discovered that the power had gone out in the hotel. I eventually went to the front desk to get an update and the front desk person said she didn’t really know how

It was a great stay at the Hyatt.. All the staff was very friendly and helpful!! We enjoyed the breakfast and also spent some time in the pool and jacuzzi..

Hyatt Place Portland Airport worked perfectly for us. We stayed 2 nights. The Cascade Station is a 10-minute-walk, so you can easily take the Red Line and get to downtown. Also, there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance . The hotel offers free shuttle to the aiport.

Where do I start. We affectionately called this place poo palace after the poo marks that were evident in the bathroom. We flew in late and didn’t realize that there was faeces in the bathroom. Needless to say NEVER AGAIN

We could hear upstairs foot steps at night and early mornings. And a mechanical humming sound that I couldn't figure out what it was. The shower could use a brighter light. Otherwise, a pretty comfortable stay.

Gave no info about the hotel (breakfast hours, no info on check out time etc.) the room was clean and the beds comfortable but the walls were so thin every time someone in another room flushed a toilet or ran the shower we could hear it in our room., also the AC was SOOOOOO LOUD.

Property was convenient. The only few things that weren’t ok was….we had a WIFI problem and i went to the front desk for help and the staff member was a bit rude and unhelpful. The other thing was i didn’t know that i had to request my room to be cleaned. That wasn’t told to me at check in

I checked in around 11:30pm. I arrived from the east coast and was exhausted. The front desk clerk was horrible. I was standing in front of her and she started checking me in and then let taking phone calls and also talking with the shuttle driver coming in and out. I had to wait for all the commotion to stop before she recognized that she still needed to finish checking me into a room. Very rude and unprofessional!!! Clearly customers standing in front of employees do not come first at this Hyatt Place! Would not recommend!!

This was a one night stay near airport. Clean, quiet room. Walked to dinner. Most important was the early morning shuttle to airport was on time!

However, this time the room was definitely showing its' age. The couch looked shabby and worn, including several areas where the cords that formed the piping around the edging were sticking out. We still like the hotel, but it definitely needs some freshening up!

Loved to shower only bathroom. It was great having a low rise shower bottom and a grab rail. The glass sliding door for the shower was spotless. Really enjoyed how the room was partially divided and felt more like an apartment rather that a hotel room.

I had trouble checking in because they told me that Expedia was a third party reservation and they had not received payment from Expedia even though Expedia had already charged my credit card

Staff and accomodations were excellent. Hannah at the front desk and the other staff are rock stars. Asked for both early check in and late check out - no problem. There were also familiar with the area. Room was great - clean, bed and pillows great, WIFI worked, hot shower and clean towels. Will definitely be staying here again and recommending this hotel.

We stay here the night before all of our early departures from PDX. It is very conveniently located to the airport, rooms are sized well, and walking distance to Buffalo Wild Wings. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay the night before a flight.

The hotel was great, room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. However, the $9 for parking was a surprise and the front desk staff should not be gossiping and talking about staff politics in front of guests attempting to enjoy their breakfast.

We needed a hotel to stay at as we were flying out of Portland Airport the following afternoon. We decided on this hotel because of the convenience and the restaurants located near the hotel. It is a very nice hotel and the check in was easy and the lady at the desk was so nice and helpful. She gave us a corner room, which was nice. The ONLY thing I have to complain about the room is that the fan was VERY squeaky for the first few minutes of it being turned on. It did stop after five mins., but it was super annoying at first. The room was clean, the bed was nice and soft, and though it was angled weird, it did have a lot of square footage. Nice hotel, helpful staff, and I love the tea served throughout the whole day.
