Loop Breakfast was OK. Eggs were consistently overcooked while hash browns were consistently undercooked. Minimal fresh fruit. Coffee could grow hair. A second toaster would speed things up. Otherwise, selection was good and kitchen service personnel were attentive.
- 5/5
Always our favorite place to stay while in Portland. The room was clean, breakfast was great and most importantly the staff was very nice and friendly!!!
- 5/5
Front office staff are always efficient and friendly.
- 5/5
Great staff to greet you at the end of the day. Super cheerful, courteous, and as professional as the day is long! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
- 5/5
Breakfast was the usual hotel food. It was clean and neat area. Room is laid out well and very clean. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Location is good. Nearby food choices were okay. A little noise from the overhead flights. They are fewer at night and didn't interfere with my sleep. The reserve jets in the morning are a bit loud.
- 5/5
Clean and spacious room. The staff was wonderful and friendly! The breakfast was delicious! I would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
This hotel is just across the parking lot from the lightrail train-Max, It is great for transportation.
- 5/5
The staff was some of the best hotel staff I have ever seen. Everyone was so nice and attentive. Sade,Bonnie,Melody,Lilly and Ray were all 5***** staff members. We will definitely be back soon as time allows.
- 4/5
The location is in a relatively non central part of the city but public train was only 1/2 block away or so. The room was very comfortable. The facilities seemed clean and accessible. I heard families playing in the pool and business travelers lounging in the lobby. It’s a good hotel. Not central. Front desk only has one person managing check ins and calls.
- 5/5
Rooms were clean and beds were amazing. Staff was probably the best and most friendly out of any Hotel we have ever stayed at. They were more than accommodating to our needs.
- 5/5
Great spot!
- 5/5
yes
- 5/5
The room was spotless. The staff were smiley and helpful I had everything I needed in the room. I know I can trust Marriott. I will return thank you all
- 5/5
Probably the friendliest staff I have ever had at any hotel. So great to stay at a place where we feel welcome and respected. Thank you!!
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Perfect nights rest before flight out of PDX!
- 5/5
My grandson loved the indoor pool which is somewhat heated (3-5 degrees warmer would be better!) Its too bad they no longer offer a manager's reception. I asked and was told they stopped it during covid. Park at your own risk here! Car dings can & do happen and management says they are not responsible or even willing to look up who was driving the offending car when given a very specific description that I will not include here. Its easy to get around Portland from this location & super easy to get to/from the airport.
- 5/5
This is my second time staying at the Residence Inn in Portland. The room was beautiful. Everything was clean and the staff was amazing and very kind.
- 5/5
Early check in, spacious suite, location
- 5/5
Lots of space
- 5/5
The staff was extremely nice and friendly. We didn't use the spa or need the pet area but the room was perfect!
- 5/5
Our room was immaculate when we got there, and cleaned up when we left & came back. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was quiet and bed was comfy. Breajfast was delicious with lots of options. Next year when we have our conference in Portland we will stay here.
- 5/5
Residence inn was in great part of town and very close to air port and rental car return. Staff very helpful and place was nice and clean.plenty of restaurants and stores nearby.
- 4/5
All good but refrigerator cycled on all night
- 5/5
The receptionist remembered me from a call and though I was unable to call him back he remembered we were arriving late and made up the spare bed so we didn't have to do it.
- 5/5
I enjoy staying here for work travel. The staff is always friendly, the hot tub is great, and it's close to so many shops and restaurants. Target is next door which is always a plus and I love that they have the airport shuttle!
- 4/5
Close to airport, able to hop on the MAX when we wanted to go to the terminal. Standard Residence Inn otherwise, but quiet so well sound proofed. Breakfast is a joke at all US properties. Skippable at best. We walked to Starbucks instead. Also, the in-room coffee poor. Why not offer Nespresso like foreign properties do? Much better product and less waste.
- 5/5
Staff went out of their way to be helpful. We needed a unit with a separate living room as my husband had a medical procedure that required us to be there several days. Unit had that, plus a well equipped kitchen with a full-sized fridge and dishwasher, breakfast buffet with lots of options, exercise room, pool, and laundry. The unit was clean (I'd rate it 8.5 - 9). Rooms could use a bit of updating. I would have preferred a Queen sized bed as the King bed took up too much space and was too close to the window and curtain. AC worked fine, but I would have liked windows that open in the bedroom. Location was great...Cascade Station has a lot of interesting shops and restaurants, and is close to freeway access.
- 4/5
The room I stayed in needed several repairs. It was not as clean as I would like to see for the price. I was amazed at how quiet the room was.
- 1/5
The staff are rude not only to paying guest but towards children as well, If I knew exactly who it was I would state names. I will never recommend this place or spend money here again EVER!
- 5/5
We got in super late due to a weather delay of our flight. The shuttle driver Keisha was super helpful and courteous. The room was excellent. We went to bed soon after we got there, but would’ve happily spent more time there
- 5/5
Loved my stay for a conference. Easy and convenient to the airport and metro rail. I would like to see the rooms updated at some point.
- 5/5
Great Location

Booking.com did not have my reservation. Hotel staff was nice enough to honor reservation, but did not have the room size I had originally reserved. I had to make a separate one and it still is not resolved.
- 5/5
Love how close it was to the light rail.

My new favorite place
- 4.5/5
Room was large and had plenty of room with a small kitchen and a king size bed plus a nice size bathroom. The breakfast in the morning had a nice mixture of stuff and the only thing I would have liked is bacon but all they had was turkey sausage but it was good. Everything was wonderful
- 5/5
The best!!
- 2/5
Only one person was ever at front desk. I used Expedia to find a hotel with free parking. Then when we checked in we were charged &9/night for parking.
- 5/5
Fair room location was fair
- 2/5
At check in was informed of a visit limit of 5 people. Questioned my quest and had them sitting in the lobby. Supervisor of day very rude and room and bathroom not clean
- 5/5
We loved our stay thank you
- 5/5
The front desk person was amazing. Sadly, my flight was canceled due to the ice storm and I only was there for 45 minutes. Didn’t even use my room. Hoping for a refund and they said they would try. The staff is incredible. The rooms are beautiful and it has everything you need and super close to the airport For your flight.

I hate it when I book a regular king room and end up getting an accessible room. The water in the shower was lukewarm at best. Ended up skipping a hot shower. Bummer. Room was huge.
- 5/5
Lovely staff
- 4/5
This is a nice property with easy access to the airport, shopping and restaurants. The breakfast fruit was lacking in that they only had overripe bananas. I felt like they gouge their guests by charging $9/day for parking when there is ample parking all around. This property is next door to a Target with a huge lot.
- 4.5/5
TV remote was not in room. Front desk provided a new one promptly
- 5/5
Very clean, convenient location, friendly staff None
- 4.5/5
Nice room. Clean. Good shuttle experience Airplane noice
- 5/5
Kitchen was also perfect for cooking instanly and Target is located right next door. Perfect accommodation.

The shuttle drivers were super nice and helpful.
- 4.5/5
They charge to park now and the jets were not working in the hot tub
- 4.5/5
Very relaxed, friendly Hotel would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Quiet location, clean and spacious rooms, friendly and professional staff
- 5/5
I liked the convenience of the location and that each unit had its own kitchen. It is convenient for long stays. There is a $9/day parking fee
- 5/5
Great place to stay!
- 3.5/5
Good
- 3/5
They only serve turkey based products under the guise of being healthy while still serving heat and serve processed sandwiches. So overall the breakfast was less than satisfactory. The room furniture, sofa specifically was old, worn and uncomfortable.
- 4/5
Loved our stay and the property. Good room for the amount of people we had.
- 5/5
Feels like a mini home away from home. I had the studionwith fireplace, full size refrigerator, microwave, and stove. So I was able to bring my own food and take out food and reheat in my room. I also appreciated the staff for allowing me late checkout till 2p bc of later afternoon flight. Very close to airport, next door to target, and many shopping and restaurants at cascade station. Location was very convenient. Would gladly stay here again when I come back to Portland.
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 3/5
There’s a disgusting stain on the sofa and underneath it that almost made me sick to my stomach. Office chair is broken on the arm rest that could slash the user if not aware. I almost had my palm slashed.
- 5/5
Convenience to airport and local amenities. The room layout was excellent (we had a king suite) NA
- 2/5
The first day we are told our accessible room was given away so I had to use the bathroom down the hall all day and night. The bed was way too tall for me to transfer on my own so my husband had to help my 7m pregnant self. And couldn’t bathe because I can’t get in and out of a tub. The second day we were switched to a better..ish…room. The bed is lower and more ADA compliant things, but the shower chair was broken and very unsafe. The chair at the pool to transfer people in and out was also not working, when I called ahead of time to varify they had one and it WORKED. We were told we could swim at a neighboring property, the front desk would give us a call when they set it up. No call or anything. So the ONE thing I wanted to do on my last vacation, I couldn’t. I’m not a happy pregnant lady, needless to say.
- 3/5
staff helpful and facilities clean. Breakfast not the best, same things served daily. I've had much better breakfasts at other chain hotels. Having to pay for parking. Did not understand why.
- 5/5
It’s really good place
- 4/5
Same breakfast every day. Need some variety. Some of the desk personnel need to find a different job not working with the public
- 4/5
It was very last minute decision to stay here after arriving in town to find our other accommodations wasn’t suitable for us to stay. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfort of the room. Whenever and wherever we stay, when away from home, we wipe down everything with Clorox wipes and spray down things with disinfectant. The place was so clean that there was no dirt or dust on the wipes at all! The bed was comfortable and our check in and check out was seamless. We would definitely stay again!
- 4/5
Everything was overall great.
- 5/5
Clean spacious rooms, great quiet area and super friendly and helpful staff.
- 5/5
Great service and room.
- 5/5
Nice room, stayed in room 234 it was quiet. The pool area was clean, fyi very chlorinated if you have issues with that. The staff was helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Excellent service and incredible hospitality all through our five day stay. We enjoyed the pool and gym, as well as the amazingly delicious breakfasts. Staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable, safe, and happy.
- 5/5
Iman was friendly and efficient, as always.
- 5/5
Highly Recommend
- 5/5
Convenient
- 5/5
Love the location excellent customer service and nice hotel close to the airport.
- 5/5
Staff was so helpful, knowledgable, and fast w all transactions and requests. However no late arrival shuttle so they called a Lyft for transport from PDX, which once was done, also quick!
- 5/5
The studio suite was huge with a kitchen. Conveniently located next to Target. The laundry room was clean and handy.
- 5/5
Great as always for myself & 2 kids visiting family in NE Portland for a few days. Pool, breakfast, a major department store on one side of the parking lot, PDX light rail stop on the other. We’ve stayed here a dozen times over the years, still our go-to.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and hotel areas were clean and well attended.
- 3/5
Usually when I stay here, it's a good experience. But this time I had to deal with Ray at the front desk. I had the bad the bad luck of interacting with him once before, and it's always a bad start to the stay. He's rude and cocky. At first I thought maybe he hated women, but I've come to the conclusion he hates people in general. The other couple that was checking in with me said they avoid him whenever possible, as well. All the other staff is great! One other thing: I reserved a two-bedroom suite with a king and a queen. The other couple complained that their bed was a double, not a queen, and that the bed skirt was king-sized so they kept tripping on it.
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean and ⅞:::nice looking. Staff was great. Wouldd definately recommend and stay again!
- 5/5
Very nice
- 3/5
The bathroom floor was sticky and the mirror was hazy. The hide a bed mattress had huge bloody stains and was old and worn
- 5/5
From the warm welcome at check in, to the friendly guests and employees. This was my first time being here and I will be a returning customer! The manager and Supervisor are the best!
- 5/5
The staff was very kind and helpful. We liked our room very much. The food was decent, and it was nice to have a little snack area in the lobby. It was conveniently located by the airport.
- 4/5
I have stayed at several Residence Inns over the years. This property was nice but somewhat run down. The front desk staff was very nice.
- 5/5
Fully satisfied with our stay. The kitchen makes the difference for family as it limits us from dining out.
- 5/5
So this is a weird review for me. 5 star review, but there we some issues. Our stay was a Saturday night so in checking out on Sunday, there is a bit of a skeleton front desk staff. We raised our issues with the front desk but no manager was there to address them. I get that. The FD worker gave me the manager's card. So I wrote. And he responded and he stated our stay wasn't to their standards, and took care of us/honored our request for making it right. The bottom line, though, is that no place is perfect. But it's increasingly rare that people/places own their issues. SO, a 5 star for sure!
- 5/5
Many great things-bright, cheery lobby, great breakfast, room layout with amazing kitchen and pool and fire pit area to name a few!
- 3/5
In one week we had only once cleaning in the room, even though we asked several times.
- 5/5
Welcoming staff, comfortable room and thoughtful amenities. The only downside was that the in-room coffee maker clogged and overflowed
- 5/5
.
- 1/5
There was hair in the bed on one of the beds. Unfortunately, we didn’t realize until we went to bed that this same bed smelled like urine. It was so powerful that I couldn't sleep. On the other bed, there were stains on the sheets. Also, the mattress on the pullout couch had mold on it. I will never stay at this location again.
- 5/5
Spacious room. Quiet despite being close to light rail and the airport.
- 5/5
Check-in was a breeze, the folks at the front desk were super nice, and the accommodations are great!
- 5/5
Good stay. Convenient, very close to airport. Overall recommend.
- 5/5
The staff was outstanding in friendliness and customer service!!
- 1/5
Bad service
- 5/5
comfortable beds and soft towels
- 5/5
It was a beautiful room, very clean and I would have said it was perfect except the toilet was wobbly when you sat down.
- 4/5
This hotel has wonderful rooms. I had a room with a King bed, and a full kitchen - so nice for extended stay. Bed was comfortable, rooms were quiet and clean. The only drawback is the parking lot. It was very full and I had to park towards the back of hotel. As a person travelling alone I was a little leery of parking so far from the front doors, but all turned out okay. Hotel may charge for parking so make sure you look into that before committing.
- 4/5
Stay was great. I would have been perfect with an airport shuttle.
- 5/5
Wonderful as always! Everything was ready as soon as we showed up. Friendly service. Rooms continue to be spacious. We’ll be back always! Maybe a friendly reminder to pet owners on pet etiquette….(I am myself one who usually travels with them) that it’s not cool to leave your animal in the room to howl and bark at 6am.
- 5/5
This place was so nice and roomy- I stayed in the corner fireplace 1 bedroom suite, and it was nicer than my apartment!
- 5/5
We had an early-morning flight out of PDX, and this was the most convenient hotel to the MAX line—literally out the door and across the parking lot. It couldn't have been more convenient, and the room was spacious and comfortable.
- 4/5
If these issues get fixed, it would vastly improve the chances of my using the same location on my future visits.
- 5/5
The only thing that disturbed me this time was the 747 noise of the huge fridge. Usually it's fine and noiseless. I always wait forward to come stay at this nice hotel.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay. The first room we were offered had loud neighbors, and we were moved without any problem.
- 5/5
I've always enjoyed staying at the Residence Inn. The rooms are so spacious! Too bad the pool and spa weren't open due to COVID
- 4/5
Another customer across the hallway had a dog that was barking constantly.
- 4/5
I know it is right beside the airport but it was extremely loud. Everything else was perfect which is exactly what I have come to expect staying at Residence Inn properties.
- 2/5
I had no idea the pool was close, since most hotel pools are open.
- 5/5
Nice 2 bedroom
- 3/5
Stayed here after our flight was canceled because the listing mentioned a free airport shuttle. Unfortunately, the airport shuttle is not currently available. The hotel is at least conveniently located near restaurants so we were able to walk to grab dinner.
- 5/5
Enjoyed the room size, bed, and customer service at check in and out. However, the shower had random hairs all over which was a little gross all other areas appeared well cleaned. The pool and exercise room were closed due to covid but I did not see the notice of these closures at purchase. Also, note there’s no shuttle to the airport the max is located on the property and very easy to use.
- 4/5
Hotel is very nice once you get your temperature to a desirable level.
- 5/5
Room was lovely, attractive, clean and quiet.
- 5/5
Great place
- 4/5
Excellent location.
- 5/5
We loved the hotel. My kids even commented on how friendly the staff was and how clean everything was. When arriving at 9:30 p.m. and we couldn't find food, we were happy that Target was close and that we could cook in our little kitchen. Additionally, it was very quiet there and the bed was super comfortable!
- 5/5
This was are last night of vacation before a early morning flight. Couldn't have been more please. Clean & comfortable. Within walking distance to shopping & a few restaurants.
- 4/5
Convenient to airport. No breakfast buffet due to pandemic.
- 4/5
Very good
- 4/5
Modern and clean hotel. Breakfast bag take away was sub par.
- 3/5
There was mold on the shower curtain
- 5/5
Full kitchen Easy location
- 2/5
The property is the usual nice Residence inn, but the changes in service were not made known until we checked in. Specifically, no airport shuttle ( which is why one would stay at an airport hotel) and a disappointing sack breakfast. The limitations should have been posted on the site when booking. COVID restrictions are understandable, but should be included in the description
- 5/5
Lovely stay. Bag breakfast during pandemic appreciated, healthy & variety. Too bad pool & jacuzzi closed due to virus, but understandable. No service on tv, but technician arrived within five minutes to correct connections. First time stss as ting & will come again.
- 5/5
My overall stay was great but what I didn't like was the 250 dollar deposit I had to pay for being local and especially because it has been over a month and I have not received that money back yet.
- 4/5
Great place to stay!
- 5/5
The staff here is great. The woman who checked us in was truly friendly and helpful. I have nothing negative to say about this stay. No complaints, very happy.
- 3/5
While the housekeeping staff were friendly and all wore masks properly, the staff that was cleaning the lobby did not, and I couldn’t believe how cavalier they were about it; one staff member didn’t even have a mask at all, and he was mopping the main lobby.
- 4/5
Stayed here several times over the years. Love the convenience to shopping and the Target next door.
