Reviews
The hotel's location is praised for its proximity to the Moda Center and other local attractions. However, the cleanliness and condition of the rooms are frequently criticized. The staff is generally described as friendly and helpful, but the breakfast offerings are often found lacking.
- Convenient location
- Friendly staff
- Poor cleanliness and maintenance
- Unsatisfactory breakfast
- 3/5
okay room, clean.
- 2/5
Very loud. People in the next room were audible. And very limited breakfast if you’re not craving waffles
- 1/5
Nothing waste of money. Smelled of cigarette, pillow cases looked yellow and dingy, after enjoying my night out with friends and family thinking we could sleep in we were awaken at 5 am to a screaming child that didn't stop screening till about 8 am. Not a regular scream either like a child losing it's breathe almost from screaming so hard and for so long. Slamming doors from same room we finally realized there was no sleep to be had so skipped breakfast dropped key off and went home.
- 5/5
Great location and friendly and welcoming staff.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and helpful
- 4/5
We traveled as a group, so we asked for the adjusted rooms. We greatly appreciate that staff rearranged their placements to cover our request. Thanks! It would be nice to expand the menu for breakfast. But thanks!
- 4.5/5
The breakfast is so good I haven't used a Waffle maker in a long time. We had a very good time sleeping and chat and everything. I can't wait to book this hotel again next year for Furlandia. I somehow see a damaged on the bathroom. We didn't caused that but it's there since we came.
- 2/5
When we entered our room, the garbage from another person was still in the garbage can very disappointing. At the counter, when he told us about breakfast, I said, is it good? He said, well, what we have of breakfast? We didn't even bother going to eat
- 5/5
The damages on the door next to the lock and on some on the bottom of the walls were a little concerning but we survived lol
- 5/5
The room was clean, they have underground parking and the staff there are amazingly helpful and friendly!! I’ve stayed there a few times whenever I go to concerts at the Moda Center. Plus, Red Robin is right across the street from the Quality Inn, so it’s really convenient!!
- 0.5/5
We did not stay there we were told we would get our money back. The property has not held any money from us. Booking.Com is ripping us off. What was advertised was not true there is no heated pool, but that’s on Booking.Com. We checked out within the hour.
- 5/5
Front desk staff are always helpful tentative and Berry helpful
- 5/5
Excellent for the price. Room and the bathroom was clean. Loved the stay!
- 1.5/5
The smoke detector beeped loudly the entire stay and I still have not received my deposit back and it’s been a week
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
It was quiet.
- 2/5
The room itself was nice very big. When we walked first walked in the room it smelt heavily of poop and mildue and did not go away once the whole time room 104
- 5/5
Everything was very comfortable and the location was perfect
- 1/5
Staff is not helpful with Expedia bookings. Do not book with them through Expedia as if you need anything, they don't care, since they already have your money through Expedia.
- 5/5
Waffles and cereal. Both delicious.
- 5/5
No
- 4/5
Amazing location near the Trailblazers stadium. Keep in mind they also charge parking for fans so the lot can get full quick.
- 2.5/5
Downtown accessibility The motel has kind of a shady appearance
- 4/5
The location and it was clean. Staff super kind and nice. It’s too old and breakfast is really poor. They need to renovate a little.
- 5/5
Decent A little cool in the hallway but the room itself was totally fine. Well kept well clean.
- 4/5
You can hear the road a bit
- 3.5/5
Location Old and outdated
- 4/5
A short walk to the Moda Center!
- 2.5/5
The location. Pillows were uncomfortable. Breakfast was waffles and juice.
- 4.5/5
Great location close to moda center
- 4/5
Clean room, comfy bed, fridge, walking distance to Moda Center for events.
- 3/5
Location Only short term
- 1/5
Non-smoking, but the building reeked of cigarettes. There are doors on the wall between room, and those doors had gaps at the top and bottom meaning the 3AM family loud conversation happening in the room next door was loud through the door gaps. Stuffing the gaps with towels didn't help much. The breakfast was limited with burnt coffee. 1 of the 2 key cards didn't work.
- 0.5/5
Parking and location to moda center Hallway and room smelled like mold. Toilet didn't work. I had to fix it twice. Window was previously broken and shattered glass still attached to window.
- 3.5/5
It was exactly as expected, older building but room was comfortable. Bed was soft, water was hot, had black out curtains, mini fridge and microwave. It was the perfect location for a concert at MODA Center. There was breakfast to get you started and paid parking. Breakfast was very sparse. Stairs to rooms had my most convenient one closed. Vending machines were mostly empty.
- 1/5
We didn't stay in the end because the level of cleanliness was so poor. We couldn't sleep in the bed because it was so dirty. Awful stains and evidence of bed bugs. The room smelled of urine. A waste of money and ruined plans.
- 4/5
Basic budget room, but everything was clean, bed was comfy, shower had good water temp and pressure.
- 4/5
Staff was great.
- 1/5
The room felt neglected. The lights next to the bed did not work flickered when turned on, the TV did not work, the security bolt was broken, and holes seriously looked like bullet holes on the outside panel of the window
- 2.5/5
The property location is pretty close to the moda center. The room was clean, nothing fancy but good for the price. My only complaint is the key cards to enter the building and room suck. My sister and I went to a concert at the moda center and had to put our phones in the special locked bags, the key card wasn't in the bag but after the show and exhausted, her key card wouldn't work because apparently those phone locking bags "ruin the magnetic strip". After they fixed it. We had food delivered, and my key card (which I didn't take to the show), only worked for the outer door to get in the building. It was just a very inconvenient thing to deal with
- 2/5
Mad
- 4/5
It's of waking-distance to the convention center and public transport.
- 4/5
Peter was terrific and very helpful! The highlight of our stay!
- 5/5
The room was clean and the attention in the desk was great.
- 5/5
Obviously, it's a 2-star hotel. Adjust expectations accordingly. But this is a fantastic 2-star hotel. The bed was really comfortable, the pillows the perfect mix of soft and firm, the water pressure in the shower was strong but not overly so, the desk was spacious, the room was clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for a cheap place to stay near the convention center, I can't imagine a better choice.
- 4/5
Plus in one or two times the heater not working good, cause the air wasn't hot/warm.
- 4/5
Parking was fine, but it would have been nice if there had been actual food at the breakfast buffet.
- 5/5
Everything good
- 2/5
From the photos it looks like a very good place, but in reality it’s not that great. The photos are quite misleading. But the room is comfortable considering the price.
- 5/5
clean room, close to the convention center, covered parking, bath available
- 2/5
Entire room had strong old building smell but also a faint mixture of something unpleasant like a dead rat
- 5/5
staff was very nice, rooms were comfy
- 4/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Clean quiet rooms and comfortable beds. Well stocked toiletries and room amenities.
- 2/5
Parking was fine but $10 per day. Breakfast was a joke, room was old and run down, smelled musty, doesn’t look anything close to the pictures. Just plain awful.
- 1/5
Sketchy
- 3/5
Amazing staff, made us feel very welcome and offered great advice
- 2/5
This was a terrible hotel. First of all, it just looks trashy and then when you get inside the stairway, there is a smell that’s not good. And then when we walked into our room, the smell was even worse. Our room smelled so bad that we had to walk down the street to the Walgreens and get some Febreze just so we could stay in there. The room itself was not that clean. The bedspreads were white, but they had little maybe stains or something that looked like dirt marks all over the top and then somebody must’ve lost their one of fake fingernails because on the floor in our room was a bright, red, fake nail. The beds are not comfortable and the edges of them are completely sunk in so when you try to sit on the edge of the bed, you sink down and practically slide off on the floor. The area that this hotel is in did not seem very safe. We walked to the Walgreens and there were people on both sides of the street that worried me. I definitely would never go outside the hotel after dark after seeing the area around it and the people that were there. The breakfast is a complete joke. There was just waffles and cold cereal. The waffles were terrible because the batter was so watered down that when you poured it in the machine, it cooked to nothing but a crunchy shell and the inside was completely hollow. I can’t even think of one good thing about this hotel, except maybe that I was so glad I had to use the key card to get into the hallway to my room!
- 1/5
Went to try a knock on neighbors room to get them to stop, looked to see if the noise was coming from roof. Went to front desk for resolve. They did nothing offered nothing. Left at 12:30. Asked for a refund since we live in Seattle area an had to drive home in middle of night due to noise in room. Nothing was offered in return not even half. Horrible customer service wouldn’t stay there
- 4/5
Good
- 2/5
Looked absolutely nothing like the photos. I wasn’t expecting much for a budget hotel but wow, very run down. The lobby had a VERY strong scent that appeared to be trying to cover up an odor. The man at the front desk proceeded to tell us he’s had people sneak in chickens to the room, so not a great start. There was hair all over in our bed sheets, toilet about to fall out of the floor, screen on the window looked like it had been busted out before, and only one of the window locks worked. There was red tape all over a light bulb for whatever reason, the plug ins were so old that noting would stay plugged in, things were very old and very janky. I highly recommend splurging a bit more for your hotel stay if you are trying to make it more budget friendly.
- 4/5
Breakfast options were very limited
- 3/5
The place was very run down. Beds were comfortable though. The room I was in had a connected door to the room next to me which I could hear everything through including children crying at midnight and moderate volume music and talking.
- 4/5
Great location-5 minute walk to Moda center for a concert!! Really kind and friendly staff!
- 5/5
Property
- 5/5
I think it’s good. Everything good people the customer.
- 1/5
The check-in process was easy enough, and the young man at the front desk was polite. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. When I got to the room, it had a very strong, unpleasant odor, and I didn’t feel particularly safe or comfortable. The grounds themselves are in need of serious upkeep and an overall refresh, which only added to the uneasy feeling. I decided to check out right away and stay elsewhere. I booked the room based on the proximity to the convention center as the events hotel block was full — I should have spent some time reading reviews.
- 4/5
Great staff. We stay there every time we go to the Moda center for a concert!
- 5/5
Good value for Portland
- 5/5
Good stay
- 3/5
There was a cream larva with brown head in the bed. Could not sleep. Son was getting married that weekend and ended up taking an Uber for 2 nights in a row in middle of night to his fiancee grandparent's house. The website stated there was an indoor pool...hasnt been working for a year. Horrible experience.
- 1/5
Bad experience
- 1/5
The staff were lovely but unfortunately that's about where the good things end. The hotel was awful, run down, creepy and smelly. Hallways were worrisome and creepy, and the room was old with a terrible smell (not as bad as the hallway but only by a little). Bed was sort of ok clean, had black hair in it and stains on the cover but sheets seemed ok. Roof was stained and flaking off. The bathroom was clean though and looked recently renovated - pity the same care wasn't given to the rest of the room. Breakfast was small but enough. I arrived late at night, honestly if I thought I could have left and found somewhere else at the late hour I would have. Would not recommend, as a solo traveler I didn't feel safe or comfortable at all. Very disappointed especially considering it wasn't cheap.
- 5/5
Good place to be
- 2/5
Dirty, old, smelly. Cigarette burns in the mattress. Stay away
- 4/5
It was comfortable. The neighborhood and surroundings were ok but a bit sketchy.
- 3/5
Overall sketchy area, seemingly more transients than other folks on the sidewalks, and I am very familiar with rampant street disorder that the West Coast tolerates and I like to walk around.. the worst thing though were the inconsiderate guests blaring porn at 2am and others noisily coming in later at all hours. So no sleep is a dealbreaker! The actual room was ok, and there is a good Indian restaurant nearby (Naan and Curry).
- 1/5
This property is conveniently located near the convention center and local transportation
- 5/5
It is clean, comfortable, and close to everything.

- 1/5
The street noice in room 209 was loud as hell. The room smelled like a damp coffin and one of the lamp lights were burning a whole into its shade.. No shower gel or shampoo in the containers. And the queen bed felt like it was slipping away from beneath me. I guess the saying is true. You get what you pay for. And that is the case here. Be warned.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, soft cozy bed, nice cool ac on a hot summer day and delicious waffles in the morning. Great central location. Affordable off street overnight parking also a plus.
- 2/5
From the first time I walked in the front office, the smell was musky and stale. Front counter person customer service was nice.. The room was neat found unwanted hair within the body towels, the light fixtures around the walls, and on the table dusty my pillows were musty. The room smelled damp and dreary, stale, and for the price of one night wasn’t worth it whatsoever. and as far as the continental breakfast, I’m not sure if I needed to get there at 7 AM to enjoy the best of the food. At any rate, I will not be returning.
- 4/5
Very convenient with access to the convention center. The surrounding area is a bit sketchy. The rooms were very clean. The continental breakfast offerings were lackluster, but it’s very close to other options for breakfast on your way to the convention center.
- 3/5
Front desk asked for additional up front depisit which took me by surprise! I was not able to pay the full amount they were asking. But they accommodated me, and returned the cash depisit i gave upon checkout. Parking fee of $10 seemed WAY EXCESSIVE!
- 4/5
Could use a 45 to 55 in TV
- 2/5
The bed was awful. We left the property after the first night because it hurt.
- 3/5
The one thing disappointed in me is breakfast selection. They had waffle, cereal, yogurt and apples.
- 5/5
The property it was OK. The only I’m concerned and now really happy it’s about the breakfast providing it was not too much selection and it was not enough space from the room. It was excellent. I was having issues couple times with the keys trying to enter to the door and it was a couple times I had to change it in the front lobby with no problem. The location is excellent. It’s not too bad is close by where I went with my kids so it was OK for that.
- 4/5
It was a perfectly fine hotel room, it just seems like little of the building has been updated or maintained since I was last there nine years ago. I'm also more than a little concerned by the sharpness of the ledge counter in the shower. It was the kind that made me afraid to slip in there, since that would cause some damage.
- 1/5
This hotel was decrepit. I found blood stains on my sheets and the mattress as well as other signs of a previous bed bug infestation. Who doesn’t throw out a bloody set of sheets?? Chipped paint on the walls, filthy seats and old carpet in the room. The only saving grace was the pleasant front desk service and the bathroom was clean. This part of Portland is also very sketchy, I literally got followed by someone in a car while walking back to my hotel.
- 3/5
Room was clean, bed good. Breakfast very lacking elevator to parking garage then having to walk outside to lobby was shady at first, then got used to it, but made getting coffee. Breakfast in morning more trouble than worth it. Key cards kept going bad. No matter where stored ( not next to other credot cards or phone. Etc) so that you couldnt get in room, and then coukdnt use elevator, had to climb back up or down stairs. Thru underground parking, back to lobby in another building to get someone. . If it wasnt for the misplaced lobby, location w as grest and i believe it was safe, but when not from the area, the appearance of using a tiny service elevator that opens up under a parking garage beside dumpsters is just not a good look and made me feel unsafe initially. Staff, edpecially main guy were nice.
- 3/5
Great area location good parking. The facility common areas were dirty mix match paint splotches and dirty walls and floors. The room was very clean though. The common area smelled awful lobby and hallways. The building itself needed maintenance . There was large gaps under the door to our room. Parking was inexpensive and easy out vehicle was safe and secured. The staff was friendly.
- 4/5
Nothing
- 3/5
Noisy, no staff at night to deal with complaints. Outdated furnishings, but pretty clean. You're just not going to sleep here without pharmaceutical assistance. Very shady spot- I promise you there are better options available!
- 4/5
Property a bit beat down. Above bed were sconces with no apparent light switch, even day manager knew not what to say about that. My wife had the same problem at a motel in Newark, N. J.
- 2/5
I picked this hotel based on pictures expedia posted and the hotel didnt have what was pictured. I was hoping for a breakfast. I didnt see anything online about $10 parking fee either that i had to pay. I will be stay at the Inn an the convention center next time. The room was clean and quite whicjmh was nice
- 4/5
Yearly trip to Portland for the Gathering of the Guilds. Second time we have used this facility. Nothing fancy but it suits the needs.
- 2/5
Property not kept up, dirty and rude staff
- 5/5
It was great! My stay was quiet and comfortable!
- 1/5
First red flag? The lobby is in a completely separate building and locked, which should’ve been my warning. They required a $150 deposit and still charged $10 for parking—which is wild because they should be paying me to risk leaving my car in that garage. There were people openly drinking and hanging out in there, clearly not guests. The hallways are unheated and freezing. The whole place smells like a mix of mildew and old grandma’s house. It’s located next to a bus stop where folks were clearly high and yelling at nothing. The remodel looks like it was done by a landlord on a dollar-store budget. Honestly, I need a bumper sticker that says “I survived the Quality Inn Downtown Portland.”
- 3/5
Too many steps !
- 5/5
This is our go to hotel when attending events at the Moda center.
- 2/5
The location was great for the basketball game. Both the front desk out and the housekeepers were lovely. However, both beds were saggy. The sink was very dirty, and when we went for the continental breakfast, there was no butter, no coffee or coffee cups. We ended up having to go to Denny’s for breakfast. One of the reasons why we booked the hotel was because of the breakfast and the location. Also, it seems that someone was living in a motor home on the property?
- 3/5
The overall condition of the room is good exept the air conditioner that was very noisy. The breakfast was poor but i didn't developed any expectations for this price. It total it serve our need fir one night.
- 4/5
the hotel used to be busier and better, but still it is a good value for the money. the hotel is clean, and parking is available for additional fees. Simple continental breakfast in the morning. The swimming pool is closed permanently. nice location and access to multiple surrounding services and shops. staff are friendly and kind. The room has everything you need: fridge, microwave, iron, etc. some people complain about the noise and that depends on the location of the room, if toward the street and if there is an event in the Moda center. but overall, I did not notice the noise during my stay.
- 3/5
Musty hallways and rooms, unfortunately. The free breakfast was waffles, yogurt, cereal coffe/juice.
- 4/5
Great location for walking to Moda Center. Old but clean rooms at a fair price.
- 5/5
It was nice and an easy walk to our destination
- 2/5
The price was great. We booked this property for the price, walking distance to convention center, and breakfast. The hotel was very old, stinky, and dirty. Breakfast was basically waffles and juice. I'm quite positive the elevator is not up to code either. It served it's purpose for us but, we won't stay there again.
- 4/5
Can’t beat the price. Overall was okay - not too noisy and clean as it could be. Nice location for Moda center (walking distance). Staff was super nice!
- 2/5
Decent price for quality of stay. Location great for Moda Center and buses. Area was unsafe and dirty. Beds uncomfy, staff were polite and kind. Wouldnt stay again.
- 1/5
The building was dirty Dungy felt like I walked into a prison on the outside in the hallway peeling paint on the walls and doors it was grunge. On outside of building and inside the building we're very much outdated. One would think this building from the outside and the hallway and elevator was abandoned. I will never book a stay there again but very much unsatisfied.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and check-in was easy. The property looks a little run down and shady on the outside but the rooms are quite lovely inside for the price. Beds are comfy. There is a $10 charge for parking your vehicle anywhere on the property. Also, I prepaid for my rooms but was charged a refundable $150 deposit upon arrival. Free breakfast was coffee, juice, cereal, yogurt, waffles and mandarin oranges served 6:30 am - 9 am. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants and the Moda Center.
- 5/5
Stay was great. We got there earlier then originally planned, it was not a problem, hotel allowed us to check in early sonce our room was ready. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Hotel was convienently close to the train and bus routes. Only negative would be small selection for breakfast.
- 1/5
Bad
- 3/5
el staff fue muy amable
- 1/5
The lobby was dirty. Paint marks all over the walls, not matching. The garage was not secure for my vehicle. There was homeless people walking around the garage. The hallway was dark and dirty and stinky. The room was dirty and stinky. All furniture was old and marked up. The bed was not clean. There was a piece of toilet paper with semen in it under the sheets. The bed never got cleaned. Disgusting.
- 3/5
.
- 2/5
Great check in staff, however room is smelly, bedsheets have lots of hair, doesn’t look like it has been changed after the previous guest checked out, no answer at the Front Desk
- 4/5
Pool is closed and breakfast is now continental.. just waffles and cereal
- 5/5
N/A
- 1/5
Only waffles, yogurt, and old fruit for breakfast. Hotel room was dirty with evidence of the guest. Pool was drained and permanently closed. Will not be staying here again and do not recommend.
- 1/5
The place looks old and not well manteined.... did not clean the rooms dayli...
- 2/5
staff was very friendly! but sadly they closed their pool down permanently and that’s the main reason i booked there. the large amount of stairs is also a draw back when you are on any of their floors, yes there is an elevator but it’s noisy and feels unsafe. the room was alright, bad water pressure for the shower.
- 3/5
A nice place to spend a night. Nothing fancy about the place. We had someone trying to enter our unit a few times. I was told that it is the person from above getting the unit incorrect.
- 3/5
The cleaning could be a bit more thorough
- 2/5
This motel has always been basic but over the years it has steadily downhill. This will be my last stay here, as it has fallen into such disrepair that it was not pleasant to stay here. The entire place smelled strongly of mildew, the pool is permanently closed and it is generally very run down. I don’t require much from a motel that I will really only use for sleeping but this place has fallen outside of my modest comfort zone.
- 4/5
Decent room. Beds were comfortable and room was very clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
- 1/5
Horrible. I left and lost $500 for two rooms and got another room so where else
- 4/5
The inn was definitely showing its age, but it was extremely clean & comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The waffles were delicious. It was in a convenient location to walk to many different places and right near light rail for more adventures and an easy trip back to the airport.
- 4/5
Room was nice and clean. Good water pressure. The lobby was a separate building that was locked throughout the day. Breakfast selection was meh.
- 2/5
Homeless people there
- 4/5
Aside from that, I love this place. It’s affordable, clean, and located in a great spot. I will definitely return.
- 4/5
Staff was nice
- 2/5
Fantastic staff, but cleanliness was bad. The building is in need of a deep cleaning and drywall patches and paint. Musty smell very strong.
- 3/5
Thin walls ...you can hear every sound , including people outside. Could not connect to internet. Nobody answered the 6 times I called the office. When I went to office, nobody was there. Bathroom door hits shower curtain rod. Bathtub is very narrow. Vending machine was almost completely empty. Room smelled musty. Every light needed to be turned on manually, except bathroom.
- 1/5
The morning manager was rude about room key not working also ran out of breakfast an hour after opening breakfast. The room smelled moldy and is very outdated. The evening crew was very nice. Will not be staying there again
- 3/5
When we decided to book the room it had a pool which was drained when we got there. It said continental breakfast but the only things they had were 2 manual.waffle makers and coffee, a handful of yogurt, small bowl of little apples an a liyttle bit of milk, 2 types of cold cereal wiyh tiny bowls. If thatcwasnt chintzy enough it was supposed to be open ftom 600 am to 1000 am and the guy working the desk grabbed everything at 930 am before i coukd even get a second cup of coffee. Usually a continental breakfast has somd eggs, meat, toast, fresh fruit if a few varieties and maybe some hashbrowns. Very subpar and then to be eushed out esrly was not a welcoming or decent breakfast which was part of the reason I got this room. Decent location though, and clean rooms with comfortable beds. Cheapest place in thatcarea, but a little disappointing in a few key areas. Not sure if id go back because of this.
- 5/5
The guy at the desk that checked us in was very friendly and professional. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
- 3/5
I was here to see my grandson in the trauma ward at Legacy Emanual Hospital.
- 5/5
Wasn't able to sleep with the noise around my room. Police activity around the property and strange looking people asking for money and getting angry when you say no.
- 5/5
Good service.
- 1/5
when checked in, inspect the bed linen. it was not clean; full of someone else's hair. the breakfast is nothing like what the photo shows. it is a lie. absolutely mediocre. the yogurt is so expired and tastes like cream cheese. the room was supposed to be non-smoking but it smelled like cigarette butts and worsened my asthma!!!!
- 4/5
The building was dated but the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Every staff member was nice and helpful. The breakfast had very few options.there was a Red Robin annd dennys directly ancross the street. Walgreens annd McDonald’s a few blocks down. Overall if I needed to I would stay there again.
- 4/5
Did the trick for what we needed. The beds were very uncomfortable though
- 4/5
Affordable; continental breakfast
- 3/5
The room smelled
- 1/5
Esta horrible, no se queden alli…
- 2/5
Very dirty, smells very bad not happy
- 4/5
Safe and clean for the price. But the area around the hotel is sketchy.
- 5/5
Respectful and smooth checkin
- 3/5
The room was okay to sleep in...skipped the breakfast as it looked lame. Homeless people outside made it eerie...but I guess I got what I paid for.
- 5/5
Ok
- 3/5
Hotel was adequate for my needs, attending a conference at the convention center (very close by and near transit hub). The property seems to have some cosmetic issues; the pool is 3 ft deep and depressing. Breakfast only offered coffee/tea, Yammi yogurts, make-your-own waffles, and two kinds of cereal. The beds were soft but felt old and not supportive. But it sufficed for 3 nights. 2-star hotel only.
- 2/5
Room had a very nasty smell, actually the whole hotel did. Old, out dated, bedding had a stain on the corner of one of the beds. Didnt look like the pictures on Expedia, very disappointing stay. Alot of foot traffic and homeless people all around the hotel. Not safe for any single females to stay at. Wont be staying there again.
- 2/5
Property was very old and outdated

Not much to do within walking distance and were told by locals it is not the safest area. Overall, it worked for our short stay but would not book here again.

Convenient with decent access to the OCC but kinda noisy and a little on the older, more dated side of things. Decent price though.

The staff were helpful. The room was fine. No default cleaning except every 3 days but honestly that was fine with me. My main disappointment was the free breakfast. It was terrible.

Cheap and centrally located. Price point matches the venue

Front desk service was amazing and location is great for basketball games. Hotel has a bad smell, showers were filthy and beds are uncomfortable

A night out of town away from home with friends. Friendly staff, decent breakfast. Beds are comfy and room was clean.

The front desk agent that checked us in was incredibly kind and very helpful. He was honestly the best front desk agent that i have ever encountered. Room was clean, comfortable and felt very safe especially for being in downtown. We chose to stay at this hotel because of it being within walking distance to the moda center. And i highly suggest staying here if you plan on seeing a show too! My kids also really enjoyed the hotel pool.

I did like the front desk service and room being clean. I did not like the carpet dirty in the hallways, Elevator not working, and the carpet in the room.

Very close to Moda centre

Perfect for walkingbto concert

It's great for what it is. It's surrounded by nice hotels that are better upkept however, if you need to be on a budget, this works just fine. No complaints!

Stay or recommend again. The free breakfast was toast.

The stay was fine staff was friendly, beds are a bit firm too firm.

My shower was cold, there was no hot water. Room smelled musty and wasn't very clean. Breakfast was okay considering the overall experience.
- 2/5
The room was real musty, mold on the window edge. Paid to stay there and then was charged for parking also. Hair on the sheets like they was not changed.
- 1/5
Not sure if they changed the bedsheets and you still have to pay for the parking even if you're staying at the hotel.

The staff was outstanding. They were so helpful during an ice storm in Portland

Luke warm hot water, couldn't connect to wi-fi because i was given wrong log in information. Just felt overpriced for what I got
- 3/5
It is our usual inexpensive place to stay. We don't expect it to be first class.

Noisy squeaky heater ruined sleep

Room was clean and spacious. Could walk across steel bridge to downtown, and easy driving access onto the I84

I like that the property was quiet and the rooms were clean and spacious. Also they served breakfast and there was a lot of parking space.

Orange mold not cleaned out of bathtubs. Oh and wow! Our room, you had to forcibly push the door closed. Our friends room you could absolutely tell the door was (previously) broken into and the attempt to fix it was way sub par. The frame was down to the metal. And the toilets… um taking those from an elementary school and using them for hotel toilets is unbelievable! The toilet was the shortest toilet for a hotel room I have ever seen! I went to check out the free continental breakfast and he saw broken equipment, dirty tables, trash on the floor etc. Really upset that no mention we had to PAY to park to stay at this hotel. It is underhanded and wrong! we asked to have that reversed and was told by staff “no, I just work here.” Had to park to park in below level parking. The dumpsters(at least 4) were full and the smell was DISGUSTING. These were near the only elevator, which there was no signage. The elevator smelled and worked like it was from 1970. The parking area had trash strewn everywhere. I needed ice for my knee from recent surgery and that was out of commission.

There was hair on my pillow and a few of the towels not sure if room was cleaned properly. But for the price it is what it is. Kind of run down

Great hotel with great rates

Hotel was decent but not exceptional. Smell in the rooms. Bathroom updated. Limited breakfast but included.

Very near the Max train line and convention Center so we were able to walk and ride all over the area. Our favourite was the Rose Test Garden and Lan Su Gardens.
