Not much for breakfast

Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. A/C went out on the 2nd morning. Notified staff and they were able to switch rooms before I had to go to work. 2nd room was nice and cool when I returned. For the money it was a descent place to stay. I would use them again. Breakfast was good. Waffles and toast, cereal and milk, juice. It served its purpose.

The room was clean and the staff was helpful but the exhaust fan in the bathroom was not moving air, just gets hot without the door open and the a/c in room 105 has issues. My house is kept at 72-73 degrees but had to keep turning down the thermostat just to make a change. At setting 65 it was too hot to get under the covers but go down to 64 and it starts cooling and makes it a bit too cold. Seems like a thermostat issue but I’m no expert

This Super 8 is a good value. An older property, major maintenance has suffered--for instance, my bathroom sink was cracked and the shower fixtures were badly worn. But it was basically clean with a good bed, enough towels and pillows, microwave and fridge, coffee in the lobby, and convenient location.

Breakfast was mediocre. Mini Safe in the room did not work(no battery in the key pad?). Bathroom light and fan came on at the same time so it was noisy at night. Bath towels were small.

Room was not clean, pee odor as soon as I stepped in, the fridge had old food in it which I showed them as soon as I walked in the room. As soon as you entered the hotel, the first thing is the laundry place, the odor was just not pleasant at all. They charged me over $250 a night so I thought I was paying for something nice!!!! They only option they had for me when I told them everything was to give me a credit for next stay. I told them I don’t see myself staying here anymore. I was in town for my son soccer tournament and there was barely any place to stay but we live almost 2hrs away and the game the next day was possible at 8am. Very disappointing!!!! Then they say they can’t give me any credit back on my card because I paid through a third party…I told them it still didn’t make sense to me because i paid more than half of it with my debit card…..I am just speechless….all they said is management said they are sorry there is nothing they can do. I hope your company enjoys my hard earned money! Thanks

Checked in later than I wanted. We unpacked & pretty much went to bed. Would like to see conditioner in the rooms

Most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on

It was 8 minutes from my my destination Suite was dusty and the king bed mattress was sunk in on one side.There was a chip on the floor when I lifted the blanket.And an old lottery ticket by the headboard between the bed and the wall.The microwave didn’t work so they brought us another microwave.I was there for a funeral so I was to tired to deal with switching rooms.

Nothing It was dirty, loud and the bed was uncomfortable.

Bathroom door was warped!

The first week i stayed they replaced towels and garbage bags every other day and refreshed the room. This week not so much there hasnt been 1 time in the last 7 days that i got garbage bags changed or towels replaced. I can see 2 or 3 day stays with no room service. But when you are there long term, daily maintenance should become a priority .

It's in a great location

A little bit older than other hotels, but still a nice place to stay.

The rooms were fine

Room was ok. Batting had an issue Had a rubber mat attached to floor of tub that was very loud. Tv channels on tv sucked.

Very friendly, staff is great

The room was very clean and had everything I needed. The refrigerator and microwave were just the right size. The bed was very comfortable. Had a great night.s sleep after a long day on the road. Staff was exceptional - because of the cold and windy conditions the front desk lady helped me unload my car and get my things to my room.

Everything eas ok but the room smelled damp and all morning the ladies that where cleaning the other rooms where so loud yelling up the hall at eachother and yelling about how pretty the snow was. So did not get to sleep in like i had hoped

Just right cleaner than expected

The staff was very friendly and check in was rather quick. That was large. The bathroom was gross. The ceiling was peeling off. We wouldn't use the shower or tub because it looked moldy and nasty. You could hear everyone and everything that happened in the building especially from the rooms above where guests were slamming and yelling till 2 am.

The room was filthy. Carpets had not been vacuumed. There were crumbs in the dresser drawers. The tub had someone’s hair left in it. Thankfully the sheets were clean. We would have left but it was the only hotel available in the area and we arrived late. The complimentary breakfast was sparse at best. Would not recommend at all.

Hotel was easy to get you quiet area and a very comfortable bed.

I’m hoping that by next year the rooms are remodeled or updated. I heard some workers upstairs working on a room then and the service staff mentioned that as well. It didn’t bother me just was hope I’m hopeful for updating.

Facility in need of updating carpets in rooms and improved shower/tub hardware.

Location was great Beds were uncomfortable and the amenities like showers and bath facilities were not of the highest grade. Needs serious updating

The staff members were efficient. The bathtub in my room made creaking noises when in use. The bathroom floor tile was cracked. The elevator was out of service.

The room was dirty. The free breakfast was very limited. I would have kept driving but I was just too tired. I won't be back. Just pay the extra money for the Holiday Inn down the street.

The room was comfortable but when I started to turn down the sheets there was a bug on the bedspread. The room was very outdated but it was comfortable and I didn't need a Ritz Carlton type hotel. It served the purpose for a one night stay. The breakfast was subpar. I overlooked a lot of these things as this is a budget motel and you get what you paid for.

THis hotel has the highest rating for customer service and cleanliness I've been to in years! Closs to shopping,food,activities,gas, everything! Wish there was an establishment like this in every city I visit!

Excellent staff

The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Staff was nice the General Manager however seem to not be the most personable person. "Lot Lizards" all over the area at night was even approached by one. Was here on business will stay in Champaign next time

When you walk through the doors into lobby it smells like an ashtray , room not as bad but still smells. No hooks in bath area , dirty wash cloth left hanging on shower rod. Hotel needs a good cleaning and some fresh paint!

The breakfast was pretty much nonexistent. I guess if you like cereal and toast it’s OK. Nothing hot.

Tough last minute

This hotel is extremely dated. The whole hotel smells like smoke. I would not take my sandals off in the room as the carpet was so old and dirty. The lounge chair was gross, stained and dirty. The room needed a deep cleaning. The only nice thing about this hotel was the staff was nice

The place was nice but its old. Not modernized. It has potential to be better. The room use to be a smoking room. Still smelled like smoke because the carpet was still the same. It also had burn marks in it. Bed was comfortable. The place was convenient for the baseball fields. You would have that it was updated with the Wyndham name attached to it but dont let that fool you.

Suposed to be a non smoking hotel, but the smell in there is not breathable, not all locations are the same, but this one it’s ain’t the one.

The stay was good but the whole floor and the bedding was damp. We where just there basically to sleep so we didn't let it bothere us but we slept in sweats and sweatshitrs because of the dampness in the bedding. Other than that the stay was good and the staff was very friendly

Horrible

This is a very old and dated property. Only reason I stayed here is because hotels in Champaign were charging four times regular rates for graduation weekend.

Check in is super easy and everyone is so friendly. Room far exceeded our expectations and the staff definitely makes a valiant effort to keep up with the facility that hasn’t been very recently updated, but definitely has in the last 10 years or so. Clean and comfortable, perfect for our one night stay!

2. Refrigerator stank of rotten food. 3. Comfortable arm chairs, but no side table to set items on. 4. No closet for hang up clothes. 5. They had the audacity to bill me a $1.50 per night "safe usage fee". This was written as automatic fee in the fine print and not reviewed by check in clerk.

This was a good choice for our overnight stay while we were traveling. I am middle-aged and suffer from chronic pain, yet I found the bed and pillows to be comfortable. I requested extra blankets and was brought freshly laundered blankets. The gal working was very gracious in helping to get us settled in. I was traveling with my elderly mother and my teenager. There were plenty of channels on the tv. The room was clean and had ample outlets to charge our devices. After a good night's sleep, we had a quick continental breakfast. This served our purpose for the quick stay.

Was ok

We had a very pronlematic check-in that took 45 minutes after being given a room that hadn’t been cleaned and smelled of some sort of ionizer used after a dog had been in it. Finally, we were given another room that was generally fine except for sand in the sheets. Not sure how that happened. The breakfast was not worth eating, very skimpy. Staff was friendly, but it was overpriced. We would not have stayed here except that Mothers Weekend at the University of Illinois locked all rooms up closer than Rantoul.

Very old and dated. Queen beds are not queen, they are full size. Price was disgustingly inflated. We paid for 2 nights, left in the middle of the second night and drove 3 hours home. Walls are paper thin, all we could hear were the people on one side of us having sex and a baby crying on the other side. The shower wouldn’t drain so we stood in our shower water and the shower head was corroded and nasty.

Breakfast was fruit, yogurt, cereal, frozen waffles, and toast. Nothing hot or made. Breakfast, broken tiles in my room, drain not working either.

Best price in this area. Our room smelled like someone had smoked in it and it was ‘sanitized’ but it still smelled a little stale. But it was okay for the one night. The breakfast consists of bread, muffins, or pancakes in sandwich bags that you can toast or microwave. Yogurt, cereal, etc. Coffee in the lobby was great. I would stay again if my travels take me there.

They are racist and don’t like black peoples

Lots of lamps, outlets for different lighting and charging options. Some reception issues with certain channels on TV. My travel companion complained about the bed, too hard, but I was fine. Comforter was a light sheet but can control window thermostat.

I have pictures of everything else, besides the blood on the blanket because I ran to the front desk as quickly as possible. Staff were friendly about it. I don’t expect the best of the best when it comes to Super 8, but I do not expect blood and bugs.

Nice hotel at a good price

Michelle was at the desk when we checked in and out. She was gracious, kind, knowledgeable and professional. The room was basic,dated but for the price , good value.

Good place to stay. I will return. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean but could have use a good vacuuming. The shower pressure was weak at times. The pillows could have been a little firmer, but the bed was super comfortable! I’ll be back.

Rooms had a funky smell and we found dirty socks in our room so the cleaning before us was a short quick job. Rooms need updating and shower/toilets needed some work done but over all was fine for a 1 night stay.

The hotel is ok. Just we reserved a king size bed and upon arrival we got a regular. When I asked manager on duty why we had a regular she said that there were no more king beds we booked days before. Which made no sense. But overall ok I guess.

Fridge and microwave did not work and I my food in it and it went bad!

Clean and quiet

The toilet wouldn’t flush (broken handle) and the shower diverter valve was broken. Walls were paper thin (could easily hear our neighbors). Not a well kept property, look elsewhere.

This was a great experience for the price and enabled me to see my grandpa for his 90th birthday!

Room was strange with hot tub in room. We asked for nonsmoking but smelled really bad in the room. Asked to change rooms. Smell was gone but rooms really need remodeling. Pictures are not accurate. Rooms were dark and dingy and generally depressing. Would not stay there again.

Great place!

It was old & outdated but the staff was friendly & helpful throughout. They didn’t straighten the room and replace towels on the last day but when we inquired, they replaced the towels. I think they were short staffed that day.

Why would you not post that you must be 21 to check into the hotel. This is pertinent information for people to know when it is not state law that you must be 21 to check into the hotel. Oversight...

Our room was clean and comfortable and convenient for our destination. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Service

This is Super 8. Staff nice. Room is typical decor. Slightly dated but clean. Mattress and pillows were fine. Does have we things that need replacing - arm chair (hole in arm) and shower surround (hole). Breakfast is continental so nothing fancy. Room did initially have musty smell but that was due to no air circulation. Turned on ac it was fine. There was cigarette smoke smell in hallway but i believe it was from guests smoking just outside the doors and it wafting in.

We were more than satisfied with our room. We were in room 204. It met our needs perfectly. We cannot say enough about the staff. They were all so friendly and helpful!!! We had some really great conversations with them. Next year when we book our Fighting Illini game, we will visit you again!!! Thank you for a great weekend!

The property was convenient to the highway we traveled for a football game. The staff was friendly.

Smell of cannabis in the hallway. Bad bad.

Room was dirty. We had the jacuzzi suite and there were bugs in it. She went to front desk at 1am and they gave her a spray bottle of cleaner to clean up herself. Then in the morn the bathroom had huge spider in there. And we both woke up wit numerous bites on legs and arms. We think those bites were from bed bugs. I contacted hotels.com to let them kno of problem with room they contacted back and said they will not be able to refund. Terrible place. At night they have a hood type black felller workin front desk and he was outside smoking weed most of the night. Definitely would not recommend

It wad very good but I would have thoght someone would have come i n and at least make the beds.

The lady who checked me was most helpful. I was struggling with my bags. She helped me to my room.

The whole hotel smell, the water faucet wasn’t working employees weren’t polite at all I felt I was in the 60s the sheets stain it was just awful ended up checking out earlier.

This hotel is one notch above usual interstate motel expectations. All we needed is quiet and cozy night's sleep with good bathroom facilities, and we are happy to report that those expectations were met and exceeded.

Quiet, safe, reasonably priced location. 20 min from UIUC turned out to be an excellent compromise given the really high room rates in Champaign during graduation.

Bathroom was not clean, not vacuumed, and it had the strongest smell of cigarettes and marijuana. Staff were phenomenal- kind and attentive. Felt very safe there but the smell was so bad.

Good job adding a $1.70 on me with the room safe fee. I don't want a safe, I wasn't told about a safe, I assumed a credit card deposit scan or whatever it is called would not have a deceptive fee.

The hotel is perfectly located among restaurants and gas stations as well as shopping and the sports complex is less than a half mile awsy

Was perfect

This has been the worst hotel I have stayed at. It was filthy. And for the price I paid not worth the money. Everything in our room was stained. You could smell animal urine. The shower was gross. And you could tell it use to be a smoking room but was never properly cleaned.

Room smelled like cigarettes

Great location for travelers who a passing through the area and need a place to stay the night. Lots of dining options, a Circle 9 gas station right across the street. The hotel was very clean (one of the cleaner ones I stayed in), quiet, and had a breakfast included in the price of the stay.

Comfortable bed and great towels.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Good location for our overnight needs. The room was clean . The TV was a bit fuzzy. Breakfast was disappointing and the beds were not very comfortable.

everything was great, except the bed could be a little softer. but the room was very clean, no sign of any bugs, lots of food and a gas station close by. over all 10/10 experience, loved the jacuzzi tub. plenty of hot water to fill it too.

Perfect location for my needs

We had a suite, but there was only one chair in a huge room. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was poor. There were 4 kinds of boxed cereal, all sugar. There was bread and granola bars, and packaged food in the fridge to microwave for a “hot” breakfast.
