Clean spacious room. Beautiful.

Old florida vibe. Well maintained, clean and steps from the beach. Very family friendly area. We were right next to the pool which was heavily utilized. If you want a quiet room, book one away from the pool. Didn't bother us since we were exhausted from all our sun and ocean time. Would stay here again. One suggestion for the owners. Adding a couple chairs to the king rooms would be great for morning coffee in the room.

This room was HUGE! I did not think that this room would be this large! The staff was super friendly and walked us through what was available on the property and even suggested nearby locations for food and amenities. Parking was a breeze and the location was well lit! Bed and sectional were amazingly comfortable and the A/C worked exceptionally well once the temp got to its setting. The views were amazing even though we were staying across the street from the hotel! I would highly recommend this location and probably will be staying again!

The TV didn’t work well but the staff said they are upgrading their service. Everything else was great.

We booked because we thought that we were having vies to the beach and it was across the street views to the road! My romantic surprise getaway turned into a terrible shock. The staff wasn´t either helpful, we arrived early in the morning so we asked to keep our luggage because we took a flight there, they said that we could kept in the laundy room, an open room with no surveillance at all. It was extremely expensive and a disaster...

The room came with an enormous living area. But the lights in the outside hall came through to the bed room. The bedroom was too light. They told us we had to check out in person, but no one was at the desk at 8:45 in the morning.

We asked for a refund immediately, as this was not what we had in mind, and they did not do it. We paid almost $400 for a room, 1 night, in a horrible place. In other words, be careful when renting this hotel. Check carefully where your room is; the price is not worth what they offer.

Quaint and Quiet. Rooms arent huge but who stays in their room when they are at the beach?! It was perfect for us and we were two adults and two teenagers. It feels like you are on vacation as soon as you walk through the gate! Beautiful courtyard. Crystal clear pool. A few more steps and you are in the back patio equipped with tables and chairs. A little further and your feet are stepping down into powder soft sand. Loungers are provided for a relaxing rest by the ocean. Want to play a little? An entire chest of beach toys provided for use too. The entire place is lovely.

We had a wonderful stay. The place was quiet and conducive to rest and relaxation. Friendliness of stay and actually other guests made the stay even better. We used the pool daily. If I had one criticism it would be only that the towels were just ok. They need new ones. Otherwise, a great overall experience

Hotel was nice - don’t under the resort fee’s. Also our room smelled of marijuana everytime the AC came on. We let the front desk know.

Lots of seating on the patio and on the sand and even around a the pool. They have grills available but I’m not cooking on vacation. But a nice option. 😉

If you are traveling in with more than one person and more than one vehicle, be aware that they will only give you one parking pass. The other vehicles must park on the street. There was ample parking in their garage, but there was also ample parking on the street. Besides that if you needed to use the restroom while you were at the pool and you were in one of their suites that was across the street, you had to go across the street to your suite to use the restroom so if you have children plan accordingly Overall, the state was pleasant. The beach was gorgeous, and the sun was wonderful.

Great place to stay for a quite weekend.

Our room was clean, but the bed linens had not been changed before our arrival, I asked for clean linens and we had received them. The beach is the one of the best points. The pool was nice and maintained. It was so loud in the early morning with staff using loud blowers and talking loud. It wasn’t the most restful place. It was a nice stay for a quick weekend getaway.

We stayed in a room across the street from the beach as we were there for a wedding and not a beach weekend. The check in process was fast and friendly. The room was HUGE and sparking clean. Very fresh and modern. Will stay again!

The automated check-in was convenient. Our room was very clean, the mattress was comfortable and seemed new. The courtyard/pool was nice, as was the beach access. There were plenty of beach chairs and lounge chairs for us to use. The parking lot in front of the hotel is small and can only accommodate a dozen vehicles or so but there is ample parking across the street. This was our first stay and we would definitely stay again.

This is a 2-part hotel; an older, beach-front building, with a newer annex across the street. The annex is above a parking area and is accessed by elevator. The beach building is two stories, stair access only. Only a few rooms at the west end have a beach view. But it is walk-out to the beach, with lots of chairs and lounges, tables under lit shelter, pool, and well-landscaped patio. Easy walk to a breakfast joint in one direction, and a coffee shop in the other. Note that our room had a kitchenette (sink, fridge, mike, toaster, and 1-cup coffeemaker), but there's no plates, glasses, or cutlery, not even coffee stirrers. There were coffee pods and two mugs, and you can go to the lobby coffee machine and get some plastic spoons. There were USB ports in the wall sconces and nightstand, but the sconces had to be powered on by a wall switch fot the ports to be live.

The room was clean. We had all the amenities we needed. The beach was awesome! Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Joseph! He made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you Joseph!

Beach access was great and very friendly staff. The room was quite small and no dishes stocked in the kitchenette. They do offer some styrofoam bowls/cups and plastic utensils though.

This is a great hotel for a reasonable price, right on the beach. It's really more of a motel in my opinion. The front desk is not there 24/7, and there's really no extra amenties like a hotel would have. That didn't affect our stay, though! The rooms were clean and modern. We never had any issues regarding the utilities. Water pressure in the shower was great. Walls are a little on the thinner side, so we could hear what was going on outside. This property is on a strip with other hotels, and there are a limited number of restaurants/bars within walking distance. Having a car in this location is a MUST!

Room was clean and the staff was friendly. Air conditioning worked well. Right on the beach. Parking lot by the hotel office was really small, but there was additional parking across the street. Hotel was in walking distance from bars, restaurants and shopping.

On check in the front desk was able to change our reservation to beach front for the night which was beautiful. Thank you to Sandy.

The housekeeping staff did an amazing job. Immaculate. Dated property that has some cosmetic updates, but infrastructure still has issues. Hard work to get hot water. Lacking blackout curtains for those light sleepers. Location is amazing...the beach outside the rooms saves this place. Fire alarms went off in the night...twice. Couldnt be comped because we purchased third party through expedia.

Ended up in an annex across the street (not on the beach) from the main property. Nothing was mentioned in the pre-book information about being placed in a building with no ice machine or other amenities and an elevator that stopped working requiring a climb to the third floor. Front desk attendant didn’t answer the phone at 8:30 PM, when we tried to call for info on hotel ice machines, requiring us to walk across the street to ask in person. Not a cheap hotel. Service could be better. Rooms were very nice, however, only a a single mirror in bathroom, with none others throughout the suite.

Not from my room ! 15 foot walk to the beach ! Didn't use the pool but it was clean and the garden was nice! I would return!!!

The location is unbeatable! The gorgeous beach is steps away! The grounds are lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. The room was clean and beds were comfortable, but space was very tight. The biggest downside was the walls were thin so we could hear people talking in the next room, their TV, someone knocking on a door around 4am. No dishes (except two mugs) provided in the kitchenette, but there is a small fridge and microwave. Good for one night but I dont think I'd want to stay more than a night or two.

The room was clean but very bare. It was very loud as we could hear the road traffic even though we weren’t directly on the road. We could hear the people in rooms beside us talking and moving the chairs around and we could hear their tv. This kept us up for several hours. The shower was awful. The spray was sharp and hard and sprayed in several directions. And we had very little hot water. I could not shower our son in that shower. I feel that my star rating could actually be a 2 but I think that what was lacking and wrong is because they had to renovate some of the rooms after the hurricanes in 2024. I hope that they can fix the problems and succeed. The staff lady that I spoke with in the morning was very nice and apologetic about our key problem and parking problem.

We found this quaint little hotel for the night before our flight back home, the price was decent for beachfront. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised at how adorable it is! The little courtyard is beautiful, the pool was enjoyed by my three teens, and I was able to get a front row seat to an amazing sunset! The rooms are on the small side but very tastefully decorated, simple and clean and fresh with beautiful countertops. It was a little cramped with two 19 yr olds a 15 yr old and one adult, but overall I loved it! We would definitely stay again. The only downside was vending was unavailable, and although the office had items for sale, they didn’t open until 9am. It gives off old Florida vibes, surrounded by big hotels, it was refreshing in its own way.

This is a very small hotel located on the beautiful beach. The room was small but clean and renovated.The staff were friendly. I wish they have some wine glass ,wine opener and some plates in the room . I hope when I visit this hotel next year in early November the water will be heated in the swimming pool. This hotel is located few miles away from a cute pier with restaurants and shopping center . It was great to have a car rental so we can easily move around . We really enjoyed this hotel. I know that this hotel has a few rooms across the street not on the beach but they indicated clearly on descriptions.

The property has great beach access, we had a room at the very end and were able to walk right out to the sand. There’s not a lot of dining options that are within walking distance.

Terrible customer service. The person who takes care of the morning was extremely rude to my mother. This place also seems to run on racism. We will not return. To top it off, they did not have “irons” to iron clothing and nearly every request made was a NO. “0” customer service. This place needs to level up on the basics.

This is a great hotel I've been to many times now. The beach access is awesome and it's a nice smallish place and not too crowded. The staff are all super friendly and the rooms are recently remodeled (after the hurricane). Everything was nice and clean and well-maintained. The only trouble I had was the wifi doesn't really work - the staff were aware of this but it seems to be an unsolvable issue. Also none of the washing machines worked but I managed without those. All in all a great place and I would stay again.

Originally spoke with Joseph at the desk when I called. He was very accommodating and answered my questions.very helpful concerning our walking issues. He gave us a room very close to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and we'll be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Sol in Redington Beach! The place is quaint, lovely, and peaceful — exactly what we were looking for. The location was perfect with easy access to everything we wanted to do, yet it still felt quiet and relaxing. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This property is newly renovated after the recent hurricanes. Not a large resort, very reasonably priced for being on the beach, staff was friendly. Beach was absolutely beautiful and quiet. Front desk is not 24 hour, but it’s a small business, so not expected. Double bed room would be tight for larger persons, but worked well for a friend and I (petite). If you like space book a suite across the street with them, still a close enough walk. Highly recommend and encourage supporting the locals. I’m from STL, MO.

We were looking for a reasonable place to let my grandson enjoy the beach. We were very happy with your hotel, for the price. You can tell that they are still recovering after that whole area sustained hurricane damage, but the areas that we used were mostly done. The beds were super comfortable and the beach was great!

For my every thing was perfect, very clean, the staff beautiful, my husband needed help with our truck and the receptionist helped him, no problems, it was very friendly. We strongly recommended this hotel. I brought my food so I didn't need to go out

The only thing I really have to complain about is the parking

Although the hotel is pretty and right on the beach which is great, the rooms are VERY small and cramped with no sitting space. The bathroom shower is the size of a pantry closet. Very VERRY tight space for the nightly cost. Not even enough space in the room for a small breakfast table so be prepared to sit on your bed to eat if you wanna eat inside and rent their double room pool side. The pool is also small for amount of guests that were there on our stay so that was a no go either. They do have a good outdoor space for grilling and pic nicking with a beautiful beach view, however, you'll also need to pack the grilling utensils you'll need to use them. Nothing in the room. No cups, glasses, utensils.... Nothing. We brought our own food from home excited to be grilling and picnicking on the beach only to have to go buy more items just to be able to do so. We have stayed at many places in this beautiful beach which have always supplied those items so I never thought I'd need to pack them. Our neighbors were smoking pot all day and night which the smell entered our room every time we opened our door, their kids were running up and down the walkway at all hours and banging around in the rooms hitting walls. Kids will be kids and this isnt the hotels fault, but dang. We had to complain to get more towels or our floors swept because it "wasn't our day for cleaning", and the TV never came off of closed captioning voice over because no one knew how to fix it.

The front desk Joseph was amazing since the check in. Explained us everything and he was promptly able to help us. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable bed. The location was perfect beach front and closed to John’s pass board walk.

I really enjoyed my time here! I was traveling alone for R&R and it fit the bill.. the onky thing if suggest is a bathroom access near beach/pool area for those of us who are staying on the other side of the street.

The hotel was like a brand new building!! Because of the hurricanes last year, it suffered water damage like all of the buildings in the beach. They were able to rebuild/repair everything. Everything was new

We love staying here. Have been over MANY times and keep coming back. Management appears to have changed but rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. Beach access is so nice and they have lounge chairs you can use. Great place!!

Our family had a wonderful time. Staff was friendly. The room was a little small but suoer comfy. The hotel is right on the beach. The only issue i had was that hotel.com doesnt inform you that there are two properties one is acroos the street and one is on the beach. Also i thought i booked a room that opened up to the beach but it wasn't. Staff got me steps from the beach and in the end it was just as good. If you are wanting ocean side be sure to call the property. Overall it was an amazing stay and a great price would recomend!!

Shower didn’t work. Very low water pressure and either hot or cold water. Nothing inbetween. Couch was supposed to be pull out bed but it wasn’t. Desk staff weren’t helpful or nice. There was even more……

We enjoyed the beach which was very close, and the pool, which was great. Then we came into the room to take a shower before dinner and both the toilet and shower were overflowing. The gentleman manning the desk apologized and said the maintenance man was gone for the day, but he came in with some Drain-O of some sort and it helped to drain the tub. He said that someone had clogged the public toilet ( ext door to our room) and it was impacting our room and the room beside us. This was not a big deal to us, as this is human error and out of their control. Everything else was great up to that point. We then went out for dinner and came back to discover theee GIANT cockroaches in the room. We are Floridians and we know well that if there are three giant cockroaches there are definitely more. This made our skin crawl and there was no way we were going to turn out the lights and lie down to sleep in the room. I messaged the office earlier to inform them of why we left immediately after seeing the roaches (around 9:00 pm) and no one bothered to reply. It’s unfortunate as we thought we had discovered a nice getaway from Tampa but now we will never return.

They have done some very nice remodeling, however the bathrooms are very small. I went for a swim today in the pool at eight o'clock this morning and the pool was locked. I hate to say anything bad about this place because i've stayed there several times. But i'm not sure what they were thinking when they made the bathrooms? It's not much bigger than a airplane bathroom.

Providing they had been hit by recent hurricanes and re opening in December, they are a survivor and have done a great job getting things back to half way normal. This is my 3rd stay here and will be back. #floridanative

When I pulled up I was not super impressed the sign was knocked over and there was a banner over the diode that read now open there was no parking and we had to be directed by a Mexican man who did not speak English to the parking lot across the street. We used the check in kiosk and that was alright but there were two employees just standing being the counter in the opposite room watching us do that the entire time I thought they could have helped us a little better. I was not expecting the rooms to to motel style but didn’t bother me all that much the room was alright average nothing to special. I liked that we were able to walk right out to the beach that was the best part. The worst part was at check out my girlfriend was running late as she typically does however at 1115 a woman knock very aggressively and then immediately entered the room I was standing close to the door and that prevented her from entering fully as my girlfriend was still in a state of undress. And she said very rudely and aggressively that check out was at 11 I told her I understood that and that we were running a little behind and told her I didn’t appreciate her opening the door she could have simply called the rom or knocked and waited for me to open the door. That incident alone was enough for me to almost file I formal complaint against that staff member. I would not recommend nor will I be staying at this establishment ever again.

Excellent location. The ocean is close with no obstructed views. Rooms are newly done over and are bright and beautiful. Sadly there is no breakfast provided. However there is a family type restaurant <10 minute walk away. Would love to keep going back but the prices have gone up to where they’re not as affordable for us. ☹️

We liked the property a lot. We were only at this area for 1 day, this hotel met our needs! The rooms were small, but nice and very clean! The area was still suffering from the hurricanes, but this property was in very good shape the grounds were nicely landscaped and the pool was heated and very nice. Beach access was great. It was windy and chilly, the day we were there, so we pooled it more than usual, having a heated pool was wonderful!

Nice hotel for a very reasonable price. Check-in was easy, our room was small but newly remodeled and very clean. Excellent location steps from the beach. Nice pool, didn't use it though with the beach outside your door. Parking looks small when you pull up, however, they have a lot across the street that worked just fine. Highly recommend for a couple.

My stay was the worst experience ever imaginable. My birthday was ruined . We heard a banging on our door to see the front desk clerk, he had the nastiest attitude saying our music is loud and assumed we were fema guests in a very racist way , even though I was a paying customer. He then called the police and had us removed . Even the cops said they have dealt with this guy before and he is nasty work. Never gave us a chance, we turned the music off completely and he still called the cops. Paid $300 for a king suite for one night and it was the worst experience ever! I will never go back to Hotel Sol or recommend anyone to do so either. The desk clerk created a very hostile environment when it wasn’t necessary.

What a beautiful room! We were hoping for beachfront but rooms are being renovated after the hurricanes so had a higher level room across the street which was AMAZING! Like a mini condo. Price was phenomenal for this type of room and the staff was super nice and accommodating. A service!

We stayed one month after hurricane Milton and while the cleanup was still going on, the hotel was wonderful, the staff while apologetic of some things out of their control, were courteous and accommodating. It was still a wonderful stay. The beach was perfect and the hotel has a great location to restaurants and shopping. This is the second time we’ve stayed here and will always stay here when we come.

A little pleasure in the middle of hell, Had to meet with FEMA and Insurance's for our house that was totaled and thankfully had a place to stay close by. Room was great with full kitchen and Comfy bed. Parking was cleaned and down stairs very convenient.

Hotel Sol is my favorite place to stay when in the area. I love the courtyard, pool and beach area. The hotel staff is always very nice and helpful. I always feel safe at this hotel too.

Despite showing availability and allowing us to book, we were unable to check in - as there was no electricity. The hurricane is obviously not the fault of Hotel Sol, but we shouldn’t have been able to book the room - and they should refund us immediately.

For the price I could have found a room right on the beach instead of across the street. Limited parking. Had two vehicles and had to struggle to find street parking. Don’t understand why they won’t give two parking passes.

I was looking for a hotel close to the beach. At Hotel Sol, I only had to walk out of the room ,and the beach was right there. They also have a real nice pool ,with plenty of lounge chairs. If you enjoy cooking outside they have gas grills too.

We booked this hotel last minute for a weekend getaway for Labor Day. We were across the street not at the main property which was fine considering we booked same day. Our room was awesome. We had a king suite with a family room, kitchen, and a bedroom. The couch had a pullout which was great for the kids and plenty of room for our extra blow up bed. Our room was well updated and clean. It was quiet. Our bed was comfortable and parking was easy. The pool and beach were great. Loved the lounge chairs provided and easy access to the beach. The staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome. We drug a lot of sand into our room, wish we would have had a broom. We had a great time and would definitely stay again.

Great value for a fun beach getaway. The hotel is impeccably clean and the staff is very responsive. Highly recommend!!

The hotel was EMPTY. I can understand if I’m asking to check in at 9am and asked to pay a fee, but 49 min before when it’s going to take me 30 min to unload my car and get settled… come on!

It felt like our own apartment right on the beach.

This property is so peaceful and clean. The facilities are close to shopping and various styles of food. You can tell the property manager cares due to the little things like perfectly painted and clean walls inside and out. No trash or broken fixtures or furniture.. Like the old Disney experience used to be!

Highly recommend Hotel Sol if you want immediate beach access in a quaint and pleasant hotel. The maintenance /cleaning crew never stopped working.

Loved the room, fantastic location, great staff, many places near by to walk to, only thing is the room smelled stronly like cannibis, otherwise a super clean a comfy room with a great bed and pillows. Will stay here agian loved my stay!!!😎

Everything was in good condition , and clean ,I arrived at 9:20 am and the front desk clerk told me that it was too early for me to even park or use the facilities, until my room was ready , she told me that I had to leave and come back at 11am that was an Exception , normally it was 12 noon and I can park on property and use facilities at 11 am , I had driven 2 hours to get there . I am a titanium Marriott member, that decided to go outside the Marriott family to be on beachfront property, the only amenity was the pool , we were there for the beach , no bar or restaurant onsite , there was plenty of parking available . It reminded me to stick to my Marriot properties never have I been told that I can’t even be at the property until 12 noon or she made the exception at 11 am . By the way no one was at the pool the only amenity .

Very clean room and the check in process was fast and easy.

Last minute 1 night getaway did not disappoint!! Will go for a bigger room next time but the location, the environment, and walking to the view of the gulf was amazing. So happy we had a great experience def will be back!

Average property with no amenities. Pool not heated. No restaurant or bar. Pool not open until 9am so we had to wait on it to be unlocked. Closest walking beach bar/restaurant is doubletree. Not many restaurants and no shops in immediate area. Gypsy coffee nearby is overrated. We made nats or mosquitos in room. Not sure what they were. Ladies at front desk were very nice otherwise would have rated 2.

This is a hidden gem in Redington Shores. Large, clean rooms with lots of extras. Steps to the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

It’s a great small hotel right on the beach. Lots of good dining close enough to walk to. Plenty of lounge chairs around both the pool and the beach. We had an excellent stay.

The room was a little small, but clean and very nicely decorated. The pool was fantastic and the beach was amazing with the patio and chairs. While the staff seemed small in size (not many) they were very nice!

Great place. The room was advertised as a courtyard view. The view was of an exterior stairway to the upper level. Calling that a courtyard view was a stretch.

This hotel is dated and since the staff leave at 9 it is very noisy people drinking and talking very loud in the common area until 2AM. We were very disappointed and were booked for 2 nights asked if we could leave and refund the 2nd night and the refused. We left and paid for another hotel. The location here is fabulous though right on the beach but you won’t get much sleep!

Hotel Sol was right on the beach! The suite we had across the street was very nice and newly renovated. Amanda at the front desk went above and beyond to help us during our stay.

This hotel was so cute! The room was very clean and it was so great being right on the beach.

I enjoyed my quiet family getaway. The facilities were clean and anytime we had a problem maintenance had the problem solved in moments.

Only downfall of the hotel in general was that there was no bathroom or changeroom close to the pool for those that stay across the street. This means you have to return to your room to use the bathroom, or you are chilly after getting out of the pool and have to get back across the street to get changed.

Beach chairs were available for free. Private beach, private, swimming pool. You couldn’t ask for anything more.

Beds could’ve been a little softer, but other than that it was perfect. We can’t wait to go back!

We stayed in a suite in the building across the street (2 bed plus pullout couch). It was huge, very clean and brand new. The walk to the pool/beach is very quick. I would stay again!

I was drawn to this hotel from a review that described it as a "hidden gem." Upon arrival I found my greeting to be underwhelming. The person who checked me in gave no smile and I felt as if they couldn't wait for me to stop asking clarifying questions. As a solo traveler and mom to a young child I wanted nothing more then quiet relaxation and a few good nights sleep. I found my room to be small though clean and updated. My room was right next to the pool so at first I was worried it would be loud, but it wasn't and it was actually really nice to be able to slip right out of my room for a dip. The pool area was lovely with palm trees all around and protected from the wind off the ocean. It was a short walk from my room to the beach which was also lovely and chaise loungers were provided to relax on. I would describe Redington as a quiet beach town, very walkable to cafes and food. IF YOU WANT A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GET IT. I found the bed to be lumpy and uncomfortable. Even worse were the bright lights shining through the flimsy shades on the windows coming from the pool/walkway on one side of the room and parking lot on the other side of the room. The noise outside the room at night was unbelievable! A staff member was rolling a mop bucket which sounded like a giant, rumbling storm around 2 am every night. The first night I stuck my head out the door because I was so alarmed and informed them how loud it was yet they continued to do it every night.

Hotel was super cute, clean and fresh smelling. LOVED the jr suite beachside and the large balcony area. Definitely staying here again.
