They were very friendly and so accommodating to any need happily There was really nothing not to like.

This location was a perfect jumping off spot for traveling the St. Pete’s coast. Kelly at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating and made sure that we had everything we needed. The room was clean and there was plenty of parking.

A step back in time. Beautifully cared for retro motel with all the charm of yesteryear. Ample parking, clean, big rooms. Staff is outstanding. Large pool with plenty of seating and lounging options. Grill area for guest use and floats and pool toys for days. Our favorite area is the breeze-way. Easy walk to restaurants, coffee and beach. The grounds are an island paradise. Beautiful palm trees and lush tropical plantings. Very reasonable pricing for such an awesome place. The only downside; the week flew by. Unfortunately, a very large family with multiple rooms shared our stay. Obnoxious people can have an ill effect during your stay but, that can happen anywhere. Kudos to the staff for keeping them under control.

The resort was very clean and well maintained. The rooms were nicely decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was very spacious and included a convenient mini kitchenette area. The hotel also provides beach chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys to borrow, which made trips to the beach super easy since it’s just a short walk across the street. The beach access is next to a larger resort that has restrooms, a beach bar, and outdoor dining, making it a perfect place to spend the day and catch the sunset each evening. There are also plenty of walkable options nearby for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. Plus, it’s only about an 11-minute drive to John's Pass Village & Boardwalk. Overall, this is a fantastic spot for a relaxing beach getaway.

The rooms were very clean and the kitchenette was fully stocked with a two burner cook top, mini fridge/freezer and microwave. The beach was a short walk across the street and the motel had chairs you can borrow for your beach trip.

Amazing property!

We will always stay at Island House when we visit Redington Beach. The staff is inviting, the property is tropical and beautiful, pool is gleaming with plenty of places to get comfortable. Best of all, the room is fantastic - large and beautifully decorated, comfortable, feels like home with all the extra touches. The beach is directly across the street. Many restaurants are within walking distance. We loved staying there.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at the Island House! The ladies running the office were amazing, the rooms were beautiful and the island vibe in the pool area was fun. This hotel made our trip so easy and fun! They offered beach chairs, umbrellas and towels to take with you to the beach (any beach!). They location was perfect, right across the street from a gorgeous white sand beach and a beach view restaurant/bar. Several walkable breakfast cafes, and beach bars. A super short drive to John’s pass which was a fun place to walk the board walk, shop and eat. We will definitely be back!!!

Room seemed to have everything we needed, but we only stayed 1 night so we didn’t do any cooking. We were on the first floor so we couldn’t see the beach but we looked out on to the pool area. Overall we were very surprised and happy with our room. Would stay again.

This is a great place to stay. It is centrally located between St Pete Beach and Clearwater Beach with North Redington Beach directly across the street. They offer you the option to borrow beach chairs and beach towels, which is a fabulous perk. We only stayed one night and preferred to hang out at the beach so we didn’t get to use the pool, but it looked great as well. I would stay here again anytime.

One thing that could be a bit bothersome is guests are permitted to smoke outside of rooms and around the pool and we did find a regular presence of smoke in the air (not in the room at all, that was very clean and smoke free!) which we didn’t love to have our kids around.

Only thing i would change is the mattress and put up dividers outside for the balcony. Great place to stay

We had a great stay! The room was clean and tidy. The mattresses were super firm. And it was so quiet at night. Diane at the front desk was simply wonderful, so kind and accommodating. We loved the courtyard pool, we did not however love that smoking was allowed in the courtyard, it wasn’t frequent but we did see the staff doing it, which was shocking to us. Where we’re from you can’t smoke with 30 ft of entry doors so we didn’t anticipate it being a problem. Overall a great experience. We will be back.

Rooms were very large and very clean. We were only here one night so we didn't cook but they had everything to cook with. Pool was beautiful and had a deep end which we love. Staff was great 👍. Will definitely be back. Beach access was so easy. 2 minute walk.

Our girls getaway was amazing and this stay made it much more enjoyable. The bed was comfortable but my neck disliked the pillows. Restaurants and stores were just a quick walk away. Can’t wait to come again.

The only reason I dropped it by one star is the light at night from the outside. The outside area is well lit at night which is good, but the curtains inside are short and light came in. Possibly a blackout shade along with the bkackout curtains would do the job. So if you are sensitive to light at night , bring an eye mask.

I stayed here for 8 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The room was clean, well decorated and comfortable. The staff was absolutely amazing!! They were all super friendly and very helpful with anything that I needed. This is not the place to be if you’re looking for a party, but if you want a nice, quiet place to relax, I would highly recommend it.

Room and actual facilities were excellent Please bear in mind. This is a very smoker friendly hotel. Smoking is allowed in the pool area, common areas as well as private balconies. As a non-smoker, this could be very overwhelming.

I've stayed at many beach hotels over the years since I've lived Florida my whole life and this is hands down the nicest one I have ever stayed at. The employees go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. The pool area has everything you need including a grill and bar. Its located steps from the beach and in a nice area.I also really liked all the little decorative touches all around the hotel. If you're looking to support a family owned and outstanding hotel this is it. Island House Resort Hotel is now my go to beach hotel on the Gulf.

The area suffered a year prior a devastating hurricane which severely brought extreme flooding. The "Island House " managed to regroup and rebuild the facility while maintaining its appeal and accommodations to their customers and visitors. I admire the owners for their resilience and determination while it restored the "resort's" luster and beautiful appeal to the area. Great workmanship and results. Love the location and ease to the beach area along with the quaint shops and walk able breakfast restaurant. Thank you for a pleasant stay and your hospitality. The Marshes

The front office staff are so friendly and accommodating. The room was very spacious and clean. I love the entry mud room area, great area so you don’t get sand throughout the room.

Love the island feel and how clean everything was wish the pool hours were more reasonable 8am-10pm. Owner was on property 24/7 and I felt like she’s just watching your every move also she could’ve been more pleasant, she didn’t have a welcoming vibe and that made me and my husband very uncomfortable also would never invite family over for the day not with her attitude being like that

Very nice and small property built around a swimming pool. Reminded me of some places we stopped when I was a kid in the 70's, but updated with a fantastic pool area and great front desk staff and amazing cleaning staff. This is a place I would go back to any time I am in the area. The only (very small) negative thing for me was that the bed was super firm, but I still slept good enough.

Many businesses and hotels around here are still recovering from the hurricane, but we still did not have trouble finding a place to eat. This early did not affect our stay. The staff was wonderful! The beach access is right across the street. The beachwas beautiful and plenty of spaceif you just walk a short distance from the crowd of the Doubletree. Will Definitely stay here again!

Quaint “Old School” Motel just across the street from the beach. Great swimming pool. Large comfortable rooms. Reasonably priced. Will definitely stay here again.

The resort is right next to a souvenir shop. 2 blocks from a liquor store. And a pedestrian crosswalk with immediate push button lights right in front of the hotel with a public beach access directly in front as well. No smoking in the rooms, but smoking is allowed anywhere outside on property. They have a tiki bar with a top of the line propane grill that is available for use for every guest, you just need to reserve a time for it to make sure you got dibs. They also have a flat top outdoor that can be used by any guest. I visited a few years ago and loved it then. For this trip, I price compared and the Island House was $175 for Fri and the same for Sat. The DoubleTree immediately across the street, right on the beach, but 10 times as big with a pool half the size, was $310 per night. And I’m fussing DT charges for daily parking. Oh, but the bad with Island House, I have two complaints. One is that the pool closes at 9:30pm. Not a big deal, but it’s a weird time since I’m used to 10. The biggest complaint is the matresses are a lot too firm.

The hotel was really nice. The rooms are large and clean with a kitchenette. The pool is really nice and it’s in the middle of the hotel with lots of foliage around. I stayed for two days and I loved it!

I’ve stayed this property many times over the years. They have recently done major upgrades/renovations to all of the rooms, the pool area and the seating areas with barbecue grills stereo system, etc. our room was furnished beautifully and had all of the amenities that we needed. We had such a good time we even extended our stay a couple days It’s directly across the street from the beach, The crosswalk is directly in front of the property. We will definitely be going back again!

It’s a lovely complex which is quiet and perfect for families or couples alike.

For an older building we were totally impressed. The staff, Kelli, Brenda and Azarel were amazing and very helpful. They made suggestions for restaurants and things to do. Azarel even gave us a history lesson on the building. We didn't get to meet any cleaning staff but the first thing we noticed in our room was the clean smell. My husband has OCD and he was impressed with the attention to detail. Loved the pool. Only thing I'd like to see would be a staffed tiki bar. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks to all!

Hotel lived up to expectations. I’m picky about pillows & didn’t care for this one but I really need to start packing my own. All in all it was what we needed - small kitchen, comfy bed, seating for two & decent bathroom. It’s a charming & old 50’s/60’s style motel with pool in center & plenty of shaded seating around. The upgrades & new furniture were excellent. I was reminded of old movies where the family goes on a roadtrip! Also right across from beach access. This was a bargain & we would stay here again!

This little hotel is amazing! Rooms are huge! Pool is beautiful and has that tropical feel... lots of pool toys and floats to use. They have two beautiful outdoor kitchens you can reserve at no charge to use the grill. The staff is amazing and friendly! The walk to the beach is super easy! Only a block away and the drivers in the area all stop before you ever even get to press the button to cross the road...There just isnt one negative thing I could say about this hotel. Other hotels should take notice and learn from this hotel how to get it right!

Landscaping and pool area were beautiful. The owner are fantastic as was their staff, very accommodating and friendly. Pool very clean. Nice kitchenette but could use some more large plastic glasses. Highly recommend as location was fabulous, perfect that had beach access right there, and walking distance to restaurants and bars. Would highly recommend and we will be back!!

Our stay was brief due to flight delays. We want to come back and spend some time. We loved what we did experience. More than accommodating and kind.

We enjoyed our 3 day stay at this property. The little details of fresh coffee in the front office, beach supplies that they loan out to the guests and just a general warm hospitable welcome is what makes this property a great place. We would stay here again.

The only criticism I would have is the bed was a bit too hard my my taste. But to be honest that's a subjective critique. Overall a great stay.

We had an amazing trip. The room was exactly as advertised. We researched lots of hotels in the area, in our budget and so happy we chose Island House. We would definitely stay there again.

This place is now our go to to stay at the beach. This place is amazing. The room was very very spacious and very roomie. The beds were sooo comfortable. The check in/check out was fast the ladies are super sweet, and they made us feel so welcome. The pool is wonderful the beach is right across the street super easy to get to. The rooms are beautiful and very spacious, and the balcony was fantastic to have The front desk ladies are super sweet, and very helpful with anything extra needed for the beach. We just recently stayed here and I have to say this is an absolute gem. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming. The location is perfect for walking across the street to the beach. The pool was extremely nice and clean and this place gave me a Melrose Place vibe with the set up around the pool. Our room honestly might have been the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in and large and spacious. The hotel has beach chairs and umbrellas they will let you use as well. We fell in love with this place and we will 100% be back here to stay!

This is a smaller "motel" like property with a traditional Florida theme. It has been very well kept up/remodeled. The rooms are clean and spacious. The pool area is spectacular and quiet. Beach access it literally across the street AND there was parking on site. In addition he staff is friendly and helpful. I would stay here again no question!

The property is right across the street from the beach, parking is free and the pool, grilling area was very relaxing. Our room was clean and comfortable with stove, full size refrigerator, microwave and sink in kitchen. Dish soap and sponges.

The rooms was huge! Great for it to include a little kitchenette as well. The beds are very noisy. They have a metal bed base that make noise anytime you move.

Great, funky "retro" feel to this low-key gem. Reminded me of great memories of places we stayed at as kids in the 1970's... but with just enough updated conveniences for today. Just really well done. Staff is great and personable.

They were very accommodating with some of the nuances that happened via expedias settings. The pool was very warm and super clean. The Room was Great! Our ONLY complaint - The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows a little flat. But we were so exhausted by the end of the days we still crashed.
