    Staff was completely non-helpful. Previously requested and paid for a room with a view but was provided a room overlooking the HVAC units. When my dissatisfaction was forwarded to "customer service" that woman told me that not liking my room was my fault and my problem. Being charged for a room with a view and not receiving one is completely unacceptable. Absolutely no attention to detail at the Peppermill Resort.

    We were extremely surprised by the number of small kids swarming everywhere at this casino property. Naturally, they’re always shouting and the pools and hot tubs were crowded with them. Might as well have been in Disneyland. I think it probably serves as the Great Wolf Lodge for the local residents. Also, the casino was smoky and super loud, which deterred us from entering.

    Rooms were clean and very modern. Shower was amazing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurants were plentiful and good. Gambling was good with double deck blackjack tables and a wide variety of slots. The slots were looser than in Vegas. Parking was free!

    The food was just okay, and you had to have reservations to go to any of the other restaurants. The casino was fun. They picked us up at the airport which was good however they dropped us off at the other end of the airport and was a very long walk to check in. I don't think I would stay there again because of the distance to get to my room.

    Had a wonderful experience staying at the peppermint casino hotel in Reno. We had a room in the Tuscan Tower with two King beds, and let me tell you their rooms were wonderful. The area to sleep in was spacious, the TV was big, and very clean. The bathrooms were also huge and I love the feature of a small little separate toilet rouge and the dual sinks. Overall I have to say the place was really really nice to stay in. And the price was great as well. The only negative is there really isn't anywhere to walk around outside on Virginia Street in that area.. but again, everything in Reno is a really close drive. I would definitely stay here again, Great clean room and hotel, wonderful staff, nice pool, lovely decor. Decor. Oh and the rooms are at a great price.

    Stayed in West wing. Room could use some updates but was comfortable and clean. Just a little dusty. Walkway to building could definitely use a complete makeover and user friendly. Overall for is was perfect for our trip.

    Fun for a quick one or two nights. Casino is older with lots of smoke. Stayed in the Pepermill tower. Room was clean. Staff super friendly. Poor was night. Just needs to be update. Spa was wonderful!!!!

    I’ll always stay in the main tower, but this time I stayed on the northside tower and it’s not good at all. had a weird fragrance smell. The floor is squeaky all the time you can hear everything from the neighbors way too far from the casino floor hard to get to it. I don’t recommend staying on the north side tower.

    Definitely not a kids friendly hotel. The room was ok water pressure in the shower wasn’t good and walking down the hallway had a horrible smell as well as the room. We also went to swim in the pool and had to get out because someone had threw up in it.

    We were their to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was the worst night ever. Fridge didn't work. It took us 3 times going to lobby to try to get someone up there. No help until almost midnight and still didnt work. Next morning we made reservations for breakfast. We were waiting and after 30 mins we check for an update and we were told someone canceled our reservation. What should have been the best night, was the worst.

    From the time we checked in to the hotel, it was a nice experience. Although we were not able to use the pool because it was still a cold weather, we would definitely recommend this hotel to other friends when staying in Reno. The only set back we had was the phone in the room was not working and the remote of the tv needs to be updated too.

    The room, a Tuscany Tower King Suite, was recently renovated and was very nice. The pool and hot tub area were great although it was a cool and slightly breezy day. The casino area was fantastic and the staff went out of their way to make sure that our needs were met. The reason for my “less than excellent “ rating was because of our experience at the Bimini Steakhouse. My wife and were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary at the place that we got married and decided to splurge a little for a special dinner. My wife loves crab legs and asked what the “Market Price” was for the 1 lb dinner. Our waiter said that it was $151.00. After discussing this with my wife we decided that the occasion warranted the price and she ordered it. Approximately 5 minutes later our waiter came back and said he had made a mistake and that the price was actually $180.00. I was hoping that he would honor the lower price but he did not. Because my wife was looking forward to the crab legs dinner we stated that we still wanted her dinner choice. Drinks were around $18 each. Needless to say, our dinner, although very delicious, was more than we had anticipated. On a good note, I explained this to the lady doing our “Check Out” and she credited our bill $50.00. Would I stay at the Peppermill again, “Yes” it is a gorgeous facility and well worth a visit to anyone going for the first time.

    First, it seems our room was built in the older part of Peppermill. The Skywalk floor to our room felt wobbly or unstable. Next we called for room service only to be told several other ways to GET room service. The menu would be on our room TV. After several attempts, that was not the case. So then we were told to find the website on our phones. When that proved false we were told to call a number for the TV Tech. He was quite helpful in finding our phone WiFi issue. But we still were given the same “instructions” to get room service. We finally chose to forego room service and leave the Peppermill to order food outside its premises. I was happy to check out after our stay was over.

    I'd say the only thing that could be improved upon is that it's hard to reach the front desk if you need to call from your room. Upon check-in, I was told to ask for a late check out in the AM. So at 7am, I tried calling multiple times from the room phone and just got a voicemail message. I then tried texting the number they gave to basically outsource common issues, but the person I texted with wasn't on-site and said I needed to ask the front desk, so I ended up just walking all the way from the North Tower to the front desk to get late checkout approved. Otherwise, we had a great time and I'd recommend it.

    The room was really far from the main entrance, I had a wagon full of kids stuff and had to take 2 elevators and a set of stairs that there was no way around. Staff could not accommodate. The A/C did not work, no windows so it was extremely uncomfortable. I am not the one to complain but this is one of the worst experiences I’ve had.

    The room I had was in the old building with a parking garage under it. The room smelled like smoke even though the whole floor was non-smoking. Wasn’t overly up to date but was clean and mostly comfortable. The bed could have been better but the pillows were nice. Keurig was nice to have, coffee also wasn’t bad. The restaurants were very good as well as the deli. Casino was nice and clean and has a very nice variety of games new and old. They constantly give out water bottles both in the hotel room and the casino but there is exactly zero recycling bins. This is disappointing and should be rectified. There should be at least a few through the casino and one in every hotel room. There was also nice ventilation in the casino and overall smelled nice.

    Excellent restaurants to eat at all staff in the restaurants were friendly. Don’t stay in the North or south tower if you expect nice or even close to casino and restaurants. We were put in this room which I wouldn’t want to spend one night let alone 4. The pool area was nice there are two areas but one side was closed so it was a bit crowded.

We didn’t use any of the oools as it was cold and didn’t use the casino because we had kids with us but the game room for the kids was fantastic. Rather than the normal crap where kids win tickets to trade in for worthless junk, they had real old school arcade games! Our group LOVED it! We left them with a card and credits and they were entertained for the evening.

    Don’t stay in the North Wing. Older rooms that are nicely remodeled but the room we had stunk of cigarette smoke. It was a non smoking room. The rooms in that wing are very small. Stay in the Tuscany Tower if you can. Makes the entire visit feel very different. Overall the property was nice and we had a great time.

    Hotel was clean and rooms were nice. Don’t stay in North Wing-our room was over housekeeping I’m guessing as we could hear carts being rolled around and people talking at 6am every morning. Loud argument outside our room at 6:30 another morning between a guest and hotel security. There was no sleeping in in the North Wing!

    Our room was amazing. We stayed in the Tuscany Tower. The room was beautiful and elegant. The hotel was massive so it was a little hard to navigate. They should have a dining guide to all their restaurants in the rooms and maps where everything is. That is my only complaint.

    I have stayed here many, many times but I have never stayed in this particular area and I never will again! My husband and I are Seniors and walking is hard at times, but when we finally found the room we have to walk down a flight of stairs with our luggage! I was not feeling good and the registration area was very far from our room otherwise I would have gone and changed the room! It was discusting and smelled of mold and smoke! We will be back to Peppermill in July and I will definitely get myself a better room than we had! NOT HAPPY!!!!!

    The pool was very packed with people, so we were unable to go swimming. Prices for items in the shops closely compare to Las Vegas, so bring plenty of spending money. Beautiful place and is nice and quiet in the rooms. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and great food.

    Peppermill is a fantastic place to stay in Reno. Unfortunately, even though it was May, the pool area was still on winter hours so there was nowhere to buy food or drink, and the upper pool wasn’t open. This made it super crowded and it was hard to find something to buy inside that can be brought outside. Other than that, it was great.

    If you are allergic to smoke, stay far away from this property. While smoke is unfortunately common in casinos, the lobby, elevators, hallways, and rooms stink of smoke. I have been home for two days after a week at this property and still have a headache from being staying place for an on property conference. The smoke detector in my room had been tampered with by the previous guest, but they still chose to put me in this room where I coughed through the night and could hardly breathe.

    Super good vacation the only bad thing is the hot tub closes at nine. This is my first time in Reno. I don’t drink so it just seemed like a really dirty little town but if you’re a gambling and you’re a drinker, this would be a great place to go. The food in the hotel was amazing. We ate out a few of the restaurants. I was there for a wedding and I did the brides Photography inside the hotel which was awesome most hotel casinos won’t let you however this sunset just don’t do any room rooms with machines. I would stay there again.

    The entire staff at the Peppermill from the casino floor the little store, everyone was more then helpful and so polite I was very impressed. The casino was clean, the rooms were clean, every resturant was more then clean. 110% recommend the Peppermill as a destination regardless of if you are there just to stay the night or enjoy a trip away.     Our room and its location were a tremendous disappointment, especially given the price I paid and the set expectation that it would be a "luxury experience". The room was in the West Wing, which was a very far walk from the rest of the property, only accessible by going outside and walking through an employee area, and in a building which was clearly dated. The room itself was on a par with a Best Western more than a "luxury" resort. The refrigerator did not work, the room got warm (even though we had the thermostat set to 67), it was small, two of the dresser drawers kept sliding open , and the showerhead had little coverage. We were here to celebrate my wife's birthday and I chose Peppermill because it was presented as an upscale experience. I would not stay here again.

    The curtains had gaps, were very dirty, and one wouldn't close all the way. The coffee and creamer/sugar weren't ever replenished. It was absolutely unacceptable, not worth the expense that was much too high, and we will NEVER stay again after all the issues. The once nice hotel, which we have spent so much money on, has gone way downhill. Ridiculous.

    All of the above, but the best was the staff! All my staff encounters were personable, meet with a smile, and helpful. I felt welcomed, like the staff was actually glad I was there.     There were only two minor issues. Since it was my first time visiting and I was staying in the Tuscany Suite, I entered on the opposite side of the property from where my room was located. It took quite a while to find my room, and when I wanted to head out, it was difficult navigating back. I think having clearer maps available or being informed at check-in that there is parking on the Tuscany Tower side would have made coming and going much easier and prevented confusion. I eventually figured it out on my own, but some guidance upfront would have helped. The second issue was with the shower temperature. It seemed to only run either very hot or cold, with no comfortable warm setting in between. Aside from those two things, everything else was perfect. I truly enjoyed my stay and would absolutely return and recommend this property to others.

    trying to extend my stay a night, not long after checking in, in having to return to front desk?, greeting was rushed, and again cold and unfriendly, not extendd. "Here is your key you complimentary package is in side." Buy a drink get drink. Spend ten dollars in arcade get 10 dollars. "No i cant extend your stay I have to do a whole new reservation." Two complimentary bottles of water and a coffee maker. So drink the water or make coffee? Nice Room. disgustingly kept. Nice jet tub, after washing,to soak just don't look around the room as it starts to fog up. Especially the windows. Hallways dirty dishes sitting outside doors, housekeeping working? Same dishes outside same doors when I retired to my room that night. First thing i noticed walking out my door into hallway dirty dishes on the floor watched Housekeeping working? walk past them numerous times? Yet Concier was able to walk right in to my room to bring a band aid I did not ask for. Checking out greeting, wait no greeting here's your receipt........ not even a I hope you enjoyed your stay see you next. ....My whole stay was a joke and a waste of my time, and money. There Will not be a next time anyways. I am vey disappointed would not and will not recommend your resort to anyone. Im very glad I did not extend my stay!

    Very disappointed - paid extra for Tuscany Tower, it was not the Tuscany decor that we planned on like all our other stays. The Italian restaurant manager was amazing! The cocktail waitress at the fireside was horrible, wouldn't help us, rued when asked for help.

    Nice, quiet room. This was our first stay at the Peppermill, and it overall a very good. Two issues we encountered could have been better. The hotel check-in desk was quite a walk from where we parked; it would have been nice to have better directions for finding registration in this large casino. The next issue was the contrasting color scheme on the steps that we used to descend from the elevator landing area of the 3rd floor in the North Tower. There is an optical illusion created by the dark color on the steps the makes it seem to be at the same level as the adjacent patterned carpet. It’s OK ascending the steps; however, when descending, the false illusion results in taking unexpected descending steps on the dark carpet.

    The North Tower room in which I stayed was completely outdated. The electrical outlets were only USBa. The room was carpeted and the carpet was old and clearly needed updated. While the room may have been a nonsmoking room, the wing wasn't nonsmoking and it smelled like it.

    The room was very clean, well organized, and extremely welcoming—everything was in place and well maintained. The only issue we experienced was with the fridge not cooling properly, which also happened during our stay last year. However, the staff quickly replaced it with a much larger fridge, which we truly appreciated since we had several items that needed refrigeration. Overall, everything else was great, and we had a pleasant stay.

    Resort has 3 jacuzzi’s but only one was open. One of the largest pools was closed. It seems to me that resort is trying to cut costs of maintainence at the expense of customer’s experience. We paid money to sit like sardines in one hot tub that was open. Very unfortunate. Sitting in one tiny jacuzzi shoulder to shoulder it felt very cheap, like a motel experience. Do better for your paid guests.

    Everything was perfect except for security falling my car around when i was trying to smoke my cigar in my car. I didn't know that there was a problem with smoking cigars or cigarettes in my own car while i was trying to stay warm in the parking garage. I seen other people doing the same in the garage area and also walking around so i didn’t understand why they were following me around and parking right behind my car while there were tons of opens space for them to park. Felt like they were singling me out for some reason but they were definitely following me around and i did not like that especially since i was a guest staying at the resort and also eating and gambling at your casino. Did not like that

    Room so super clean and staff was friendly from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out. Room service was fast, accommodating, and pleasant even at 1am when we ordered😂 There were lots of fun little spots such as The Fireside Lounge and The Terrace Lounge. There was also an arcade and the best part is they include coupons for all of these places with your room keys! Such an easy hotel to navigate! We could go on and on about it!     When I first contacted the front desk, I was told that we could only change rooms immediately, otherwise there would be no room available later. This was very unreasonable, especially as my child had just fallen asleep. When we finally changed rooms the next morning, the new room was not ready at all—it was messy and dirty. The front desk told us this was the only available room, otherwise we had to move back to the noisy one. This handling of the situation was especially unsatisfactory for a family traveling with a young child and was completely unacceptable.

    The blackout curtains were also poorly designed — the top did not fully cover the window, letting in a significant amount of light and making the room very bright, especially at night and early morning. Overall, the experience was terrible. I will never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Families with children should absolutely avoid this place, as it is far from quiet or comfortable.

    The negative is that the room was very loud with doors slamming all night, people talking loudly in the hallways and even in the adjacent rooms - walls are very thin and you hear everything. Despite checkout being 11am - maids start coming by circa 8am - came 3 time before 9:30am so put the do not disturb sign out bc they are somehow very aggressive… There are many places to eat, get drinks and deserts around the facility, casino is nice with many machines and tables, and the decor is very clean and well done. Overall very nice place to stay despite a few issues.

    We received the room with the bed undone, sheets were dirty with something black/brown, there was trash in the floor, the sink and the bathroom counter were full of brown stains. When I called front desk they said they were going to clean the room and I said no way. I went down to the lobby and the person attending the front desk named Drew was extremely rude. So there is no way I would stay again in this hotel. They dont care about their guests.

    The food is very expensive. The lady checking us in was very rude. She gleefully told me the pool had been and would be closed while we were there. It was open. A lady in the hot tub said it had been open the whole time. The pool was the main reason we came to the Peppermill. There was a sock and toy left in our room. Makes one think it was not cleaned well.

    The overall experience was great. We visited the steak house that was amazing.     The room was beautiful and spacious, very clean! My only complaint was the showerhead that had hardly any water coming out of it. I had to wash my hair with the wall mounted jets. I am grateful they were there, but it was awkward to use. A few more water bottles and coffee pods would have been nice because I was there for three days. I asked for room service one day and no one ever came. not horrible inconveniences but they were a bit of a bummer. Overall, I love this property and what it has to offer!

    We booked a room on a holiday weekend, so the property was busy. At check in, we were given a room at the end of a hallway that shook from the mechanical room next door. It was vibrating and buzzing loudly through the walls. The front desk offered to move us to a different room after a lot of back and forth - but again we were put on the end of a hallway next to the elevators. There were no options available for a quiet room without downgrading. I reached out to Expedia and they were able to have the hotel waive $100 resort fees, but no help with a quieter stay. The room was clean, but in the worst possible locations. Not sure if it’s because I used a 3rd party site?

    Dinner at Oceana was an absolute highlight! The salmon and halibut were both cooked to perfection – flaky, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Mmmmm is right! The service was friendly and attentive too. Highly recommend this hotel.

    The pool was amazing with a waterfall pool, was cold and warm, hot tub, and another heated pool, room with jacuzzi tub was also really nice, the only complaints is that it said free breakfast to order but there was no free breakfast and food was very expensive but it was still awesome, I only wish I had more time to get a massage, I'll definitely be staying here again 😁

    This is the worst stay I’ve had here. When I checked into my room the floor hadn’t been vacuumed and it was NASTY. Like toenail clippings etc. Then the people next door were slamming their door all night long so it wasn’t relaxing at all. Only good thing was that housekeeping came immediately to vacuum after I complained. I usually like this hotel but this stay was pretty terrible.

    Rooms were great. Large bathroom, lots of counter space. We had the Two King suite. I had no idea that this place existed in Reno. I felt like we were at the Venetian in Las Vegas. Lots to do, so we spent 3 days here. The only thing is I wish the smokers would have their own enclosed area. The smoking allowed would be enough for me not to stay too long, but this was a non-busy time of year so we had to put up with a lesser amount of them... but they were everywhere...

    Everything was clean. Room and staff were all great. In 267 most of the plugs in the room didn’t work. And on Saturday night there was a big party with loud band nearby when I got to the room about 11:30 pm. They did turn it down by midnight but I could still hear it. About 12:30am the band stopped but people were really loud and coming out in the hallway. That lasted until 1:30am.

    Our stay was a mixed bag. First we were sent to a room and the key didn't work. We went back to the desk and discovered that that 1 should have been a 7 so we went to the correct room and did get in. Then we spent the evening and next morning trying to get internet, but couldn't. When we said so when checking out, we were told "Yes the internet was down." For the entire resort? With no message or notification? Awkward.
