We got to book a room here in a last minute deal and it was well worth the price we paid. Friendly staff and very nice having free valet and bell service, Tip them well and they really appreciate it! Casino was pretty smokey and breakfast was great. Would stay here again for sure

We usually love staying here, but this time we had an issue. No hot water in the shower! They did compensate us, but realizing there’s no hot water at 11:30pm just wasn’t acceptable. Never had this problem before, but next time I will make sure the room has hot water in the bathroom before we do anything else. Otherwise, it’s a great place to stay. The martinis are good and the food in the Bistro Napa is wonderful.

The trip was amazing it was my first time going on vacation with my family. 10 stars the staff was great and the resort was fabulous.

Always a wonderful stay and this time was no different even with 30 of our family staying at the Hotel.

I reserved 2 rooms and they were not ready by check in time. We got there at 1:30 and the receptionist said she will request an expedite on the rooms. I went back at 3:00 for check in and they were still not available. I didn’t get the rooms until almost 4:00.

Very nice clean and Quiet.

We stayed here last week and thought it would be “just ok” cause the rooms were so affordable. We had a great check in, then went to the room and it was so new and clean. All the bars are great offering happy hours, the Napa grill was our favorite second to the sky bar and all you can eat sushi. Will definitely go back.

The lady at the desk was very nice and professional the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable how ever the coffee maker was dirty and un usable the coke machine took my money and didn’t give me product other then that it was quiet clean and enjoyable the bathroom was also nice n big not small and also has a place to sit down Other then that it was a nice and comfortable stay i would stay there again but would bring my own hot water kettle for coffee thank you

I truly enjoyed my two day stay at Atlantis. The property is extremely well taken care of and I cannot wait to go back. The doors in the hotel are done if the most beautiful doors I’ve ever seen

Clean room staff were helpful

Don't use the check in kiosks - the key dispenser will not work. Better to wait in line. If you book on Expedia and select "room with view" it may be a view of a plaster wall. Casino is super smokey despite all filters. Room service is decent. Gym is decent. Oddly enough I was given an ADA room that was about a 2 minute walk from the closest elevator. While I didn't need it, I thought it was quite odd that the room was so far away. Valet process is strange; you have to get a new ticket everyday and tell the valet your last name, every day. I stayed here because of convenience but in the future would opt for a normal hotel sans casino.

The pool and jacuzzi is my favorite.It opens up at six a m and closes at ten p m.

The entire hotel smells like heavy cigarette smoke… you can’t breathe! If you are a non smoker this place is not for you .. they walk around with cigarettes in their hands everywhere!!! Even to check in man in back of me smoking… disgusting!!! They say they have non smoking machines area , well it’s so small and over taken with smoke anyway!! Terrible !!

I’m aware that it’s a common practice for large hotels to charge resort fees, but I don’t use the amenities. I wish I have an option to opt out of paying resort fees since I choose not to use the amenities offered.

Excellent place to stay, casino is noisy, as all casinos are, and machines for gambling are all new, none of the old pull the handle and watch where your money goes. Parking is also easy, large lots, chargers for electric cars also.I would stay again if in Reno.

I property was well maintained very well kept up--

The room seemed to smell smoky this time. I guess it’s coming through the vents?! We were hard pressed to find an area where we could gamble that wasn’t filled with smoke. Sushi was great as always, and the bellhop and valet were great. Just a little frustrated with the amount of smoke in the air in general. All of our other stays have not been like that.

Stayed 2 nights here. First night was good experience. Didn’t have time to do much but just enjoy the nice clean suite was on a time crunch so didn’t have time to explore. Second night after a long day our stay was not as good. Got to hotel which was smaller room but still clean and comfy. Had dinner at purple parrot. Slept through the most the night. At around 7am to about 10 am there was constant pounding on the walls nonstop I’m assuming due to the remodel. From 10 to about check out time the fire alarm in the room was non stop. Called front desk to notify them of issue still took about 45 minutes to get it fixed. Decided to go to buffet and try it out. Buffet experience was much better than room experience. Would stay again hoping to never run into issues like the 2nd night. 1st night was great second night was terrible.

Appreciated the bed having an actual comforter and the pillows being soft and comfortable. I also enjoyed a day at the spa and liked the amenities it had to offer. Housekeeping came really early in the morning, I wish they had offered housekeeping services later in the day.

Stayed for the weekend for West Coast Classic rabbit show at the convention center. Good restaurants. The indoor pool was great. It was kept very clean and the staff was pleasant and very helpful.

We have stayed many times at this hotel. During this visit to Reno we were in a newly renovated room which was convenient to the pool and elevator. Our room had a door to a small outside fenced area that had 2 chairs. We enjoyed sitting outside before dinner. There were many good options for food. Highly recommend this hotel!

I HAD A VERY COMFORTABLE STAY IT WAS MY FIRST TIME AT THIS RESORT AND IN RENO. I WAS VERY HAPPY THAT I CHOSE TO STAY HERE EVERYTHING WAS VERY NICE. EVEN THE PARKING WAS CONVENIENT.

I am not a casino person. And I only booked this room because I was attending an event close by. But I did really like this hotel. If, like me, you’re not into the casino vibe, just leave the first floor. The rooms were spacious and clean, and I had a great view of the mountains.

Other then the costs and the No view for lots of money the place is great!

I was first put in a room behind a noisy elevator an d then when I asked for another, I was placed in an adjoining room with children and awakened at 4 AM with loud talking and laughing all night. I was told this is a “family” resort and I am part of a family and i found the “resort” so much less than a resort and more of a family managerie. I was treated like a second class citizen. I will never stay there again!!!

2. There were two Starbuck's counters in the Hotel, but they were not on the directory. 3. The dinner restaurants were all great. The Manhattan Deli served full meals that were great. They also served really good Matza Ball Soup and New York Cheesecake. Prices were moderate. 4. On my first review I asked for the hotel to buy batteries for the bathroom scale. The error I made was to not have instructions to use the scale. You need to first step on the scale and then step off, this turns on the scale. Operating instructions for the bathroom scale would have helped.

Great Hotel for a Reno Getaway, lots of amenities and restaurants are awesome!

We ate at the steakhouse and had an excellent meal. Played Blackjack and the dealers were nice as was the table atmosphere. Over all a very nice stay - will not miss the cigarette smoke in the casino/lobby when that's finally done away with :)

I loved this hotel! It has everything you need and the rooms were perfect. The staff was wonderful and the rooms cleaned every day. My daughter and I used the spa and loved it. We used the pool and it was as busy but the pool was as big so it wasn’t an issue. We will definitely stay here again

This is the second time I have stayed at this facility. Impressed with the expensive fixtures, carpet, and construction evident in the room. The staff was very helpful and friendly at check in. Plenty of safe parking witch is appreciated if you drive a vehicle you are concerned about and unlike some Tahoe "resorts" it is free.

To my surprise, this was a amazing experience

Room was clean and the staff was very nice. No issues while we were staying there. We aren't casino people, but came for a volleyball tournament. We were pleasantly surprised at how well we slept. The rooms were really quiet, allowing for a decent night sleep after a long day.

This is a fantastic hotel and highly recommend! We stayed here because we had a vollyeball tournament at the Reno convention center. The location is absolutely ideal and only a 10 minute walk to the convention center. The hotel rooms are light, bright and very comfortable and modern. The hotel restaurant and amenties are excellent as well. We will definitely be back and will always choose this hotel.

We had a wonderful one night stay at the Atlantis. The room is new, modern , clean and spacious. The gym is equipped with top of the line technogym weight machines and Precor treadmills. We had the lunch Buffett at Toucan Charlie and it’s a great value for the quality of food it offered. All the hotel staff were very friendly .

Our air conditioning in our room didn’t work. Our room was hot and humid. We couldn’t win anything at the casino and dumped over $4000 at the casino. Couldn’t even get a sniff at a bonus. We would have to pay the same price if we were staying at the resort or just coming to visit for the daily spa package. Our area we were staying was under construction.

Got to the property early, did the pre check in and was told my room number and that I would receive a call when my room was ready. Went back at 3:00 ( official check in time) and was told my room still was not ready and they told me my room a different room number than what they told me before, which leads me to believe my room was given away. They again told me I would receive a call when my room was ready, by 5:30 and I still hadn’t heard from them so I went back and they were able to find me a room at that time but again it was a different room number, which leads me to believe they gave my room away once again. Very unhappy with the customer service of the front desk staff. I paid for a resort fee and didn’t even get into my room until almost 6:30 and then it was time to eat dinner so I didn’t even get to use the resort as I was checking out the next day.

Excellent customer service by all staff we encountered (check-in desk, valet, shuttle driver, bar staff and restaurant staff) and incedibly clean. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The place was clean and modern with all of the ammentities at a lower price than most hotels. Great bargain. We got off the elevator to go to breakfast and the general manager escorted us to the restaurant. Definitely outdid the Venetian/Palazzo in Las Vegas at a bargain price!! I stay at the Palazzo every year for a conference so I know!

Fridge in room but no microwave to reheat food and don’t expect anyone in the hotel or casino to help. So don’t bring back any left overs that need to be reheated. Rooms were clean and staff was cordial.

I don’t like casino atmospheres in general but the location was right and the casino part wasn’t horrible.We just walked quickly to avoid the smoke and stayed in the concierge tower section.

The elevators were extremely slow .. sometimes up to a five-minute wait. Getting to the pool area was also inconvenient since you have to take one set of elevators down and then another set up. On top of that, sections of the carpet were missing and certain walkways were frequently blocked off. Overall, it just didn’t feel very smooth or well-maintained.

I stayed at the Atlantis Reno just a few weeks after staying at some skanky casino hotel in south lake tahoe. What a difference! Still a casino (barf) but clean, friendly, and didn't overtly stink of smoke. Fantastic views, and free parking. Breakfast in the Purple Parrot was great. N.B. Check Expedia for rates - I was able to book a better room for $100 less than my wife got when booking directly with the hotel.

Great room, great Hotel, great staff! Had a blast I can’t wait to go back. My only complaint which has to do with the city or state. You pay a resort fee and you pay taxes on the resort fee! I paid $90 in fees for two nights.

Our room was great, clean and had a fabulous view of the snow covered mountains. This hotel has so many different types of restaurants and the food is delicious. Employees were very friendly and more than willing to help when needed. This hotel sits next to and connected to the convention center and away from downtown Reno. I would book this hotel again, the payout on the slots were pretty good, after 3 days we left with the same amount we arrived with. This hotel is close to the airport but you don’t hear the noise, also there is a distance between downtown Reno and the Atlantis hotel but our trip to downtown Reno was a waste of time, I will come back to the Atlantis again.

My room was truly recently renovated. Very new. We are so happy for the stay.

I was traveling with my children, and the road closure was an official safety measure, completely beyond our control. When we arrived the following day, I explained the situation and asked for a room, but the hotel stated that my reservation had been canceled as a no-show and that the hotel was fully booked. I spoke with the manager and requested written confirmation that we were not allowed to stay, even after facing dangerous weather conditions, so that Expedia could contact the hotel regarding a refund. Despite this, Expedia later informed me that the hotel refused to authorize any refund, even though the stay was already paid in full. I am now forced to pursue a travel insurance claim to recover the cost of a night I could not use due to a snowstorm and highway closure. Even with travel insurance, resolving this situation has been extremely difficult and stressful. I understand hotel policies, but I believe there should be basic flexibility and human consideration, especially during weather emergencies involving families. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here, and based on how this situation was handled, I would not recommend this hotel.

Expedia Refuses to refund this room after it was completely innacurate. Atlantis does not provide the spa tub in the double room premier as phots show. After having the property agree to refund Expedia is unable to get ahold of the property to process it. Expedia is unable to communicate at a basic level.

Great stay for the ABA conference. Friendly welcome, super convenient location (easy walk to Walgreens, etc.), and an amazing spa—Hilda (facial) and Michelle (massage) were both wonderful. Housekeeping was kind and attentive, and the Atrium Bar bartenders were the best—welcoming and clearly loved by locals. Would return!

I recorded the noise at around 3:00 a.m. The front desk claimed it was hail, but that is not true — it was light rain, not hail. The constant loud “dah…dah…dah…” noise from rain hitting metal made it impossible to sleep.

The first room we were given had an extremely strong weed smell. We were quickly moved to a new room which was great. Spacious, very quiet even though we were close to the elevator. Free charging for the electric car was great.

The hotel manager walked us personally to the check-in desk and had us checked in admittedly.

Our first impression was that this hotel didn't seem smoke heavy, our entire stay we were impressed that the overwhelming scent of cigarettes wasn't present like it is in most casinos. Second impression was that there are were bars everywhere, which was such a major plus!! The bell man was SO nice. Don't remember his name, but he was bolo head and from Hawaii. Looks like the rocks cousin. He was totally patient with my kids who were running wild and he made friendly conversation with us the whole way up to the room. Our room was super clean and spacious; plus it didn't smell like smoke. All the staff were extremely friendly. The bartenders, servers, cocktail waitresses and housekeeping. The pool was open until 10pm and it was a really nice setup. The arcade is open twenty four hours, which our kids took full advantage of. We ate at the Purple Parrot and really enjoyed our breakfast. Front desk was meh. We had a lot of questions at check in about the amenities and it felt like we were being rushed, although there was no one else in line. I am a cook and EVERY SINGLE ITEM we ordererd to eat ( alot of food) was amazing and way above standard. We will not stay anywhere else and decided vegas is 4 the birds and millionaires. Not us. The girl at the front desk didn’t care that I was a platinum member, not to mention I am a ruby member of the monarch rewards club for the Atlantis. This is the worst front desk experience I have had here. It was a very ordinary experience. Nothing too terrible, but definitely not exceptional. Other properties offer free upgrades to platinum vip Expedia members. Usually the Atlantis is a pretty exceptional property. It was disappointing if I’m being totally honest.

Indoor pool water temperature could be a little bit higher in the winter.

We tried to eat at the buffet, we got to the buffet right when they opened the doors, 2 hours later we were still in line waiting with no sign of the entrance to the buffet we gave up & decided to do room service.

The Atlantis is a beautiful place to stay in Reno! They have plenty of great restaurants on site. Our room was great with an amazing view. The elevators were fast and always ready. The best part, in your room they have a PILLOW MENU! You can choose from a variety of pillows to suit your needs. We will definitely stay here again!

I called down for extra hotels at 9pm and again at 9:45pm when they didn’t arrive. At 10:30pm I caved and put up the do not disturb sign and went to bed. No towels! My son showered and used a hand towel to dry!

(We are a black couple) We had previously talked to different representatives and felt they could have helped us but they stood aside and let Omar give us this hard time even though they were the ones who gave us different information just 30 mins ago. We were embarrassed and frustrated with the way we were treated by him and this is why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of a 5 but other than that the room was very nice and very clean!! My boyfriend and I stayed there for the weekend for our anniversary and we had a great time. Had an AMAZING dinner at the Atlantis steakhouse! (Highly recommend it)

Clean rooms, friendly staff and good food! Both the buffet and the all you can eat sushi bar were of good quality and value. Recommend getting a day pass to the spa! It's a good work around if you are trying to relax and avoid a pool/hot tub full of kids. It was quiet and well worth the money for access to private hot tubs, relaxation rooms, steam rooms and saunas. Will stay again !

We stayed in a king room for a couple days and then moved to a double queen. The DQ room had a rip in the bedding. The bathroom smelled like mildew. We liked the king room better.

I would definitely stay here again, I travel to Reno for work, this hotel was perfect for my trip. I usually stay at a different hotel when in Reno, but that hotel did not have accommodations this time, I will now return to this hotel, on future trips.

I stayed in one of their rooms that was recently updated and it was great. It’s so close to the airport. The close proximity helped me in a pinch and would gladly stay here any time. I last stayed at Atlantis maybe 20 years ago and it was still a nice place to stay.

We were there to join an event held in the Convention Center. There is a sky bridge from the resorts to the convention center, very convenient! Parking is easy. There are a couple good restaurants inside. The room we stayed was newly renovated. Nice trip.

What an amazing place, so many resort and really stunning architectural features. Staff were consistently excellent - great communication, and results focused.

The front desk didn’t have our reservation and said they were sold out - very negative first impression - they “found” the reservation and we got checked in after the second try.

Came for a ladies spa day long weekend. The Spa is fantastic and I highly recommend! My spa services were great and other spa amenities like the hot tubs, sauna, locker room and were clean and quiet. My room seemed nearly brand new, had nice amenities and plenty of space. There were several bars and restaurants on property and all of our meals were excellent and reasonably priced. Take advantage of happy hour between 4-6pm. We got excellent cocktails from the Bistro for half price! Our trip was short so we didnt venture out of the hotel much. The Casino floor is quite smokey and most of my clothes smelled when I got home but thats generally expected. Overall I would come for another spa day here again!

The new remodeled rooms were awesome !!!! Staff was great right down to the room cleaning. Stay away from the Pizza at the Manhattan Grill......not even one star, the rest of the restaurants and bars were really good.

Most impressive was the noticeable hospitality. From the bell staff to the bartenders, all were exceptionally welcoming.
