It’s right by the freeway, so it’s convenient on and off. But it’s not noisy or annoying. It’s also close to my son, who we visit a lot. All the staff are super helpful and friendly. Great to see Betsy again and got to know Samuel at breakfast time too. He was friendly, helpful and funny. Senedn was another friendly face at the front desk that welcomed us.

Staff was extremely unhelpful and flat out rude. We requested help working the tv and were told ‘well if you want to watch something, use your phone’, the pool area was not maintained at all with a diaper sitting by the pool. will NOT be staying here again.

The property was nice and clean, but needs updating. The tub was stopped up. When I was taking a shower, the tub was filling up with water. The bathroom door was hard to open. It was dragging the floor. Couldn’t find good tv stations. The refrigerator leaked water. The air conditioner made noise all night. A dog in the next room was barking a lot.

The hotel looks nice from the outside and the lobby is pleasant; however, once we got to our room, I was thoroughly disappointed. The room felt very old and unclean, and overall just gave me an uncomfortable feeling. While I do want to note that the staff was great and very attentive, the condition of the room itself really took away from the stay. Additionally, the AC unit was extremely loud throughout the night, which made it difficult to sleep.

Staff was great. Hotel was an older building. Had minor hiccups in the room. Doable for a stay with your kids if you’re looking for somewhere cheap. Personally would not stay there again nor if I was with my partner. Overall staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Unfortunately as is happening several times on my so far week long travels I had to switch rooms.. I had already unpacked and brought my dog and dog food up to the room and got relaxed and then I could not get the bathtub or shower to work no water.. the front desk clerk who was very kind did graciously give me the room across the hall so he transition was fairly easy but it was still time and frustration

Beds are so hard

I got in late evening and just decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. I honestly did not have high expectations but I was hungry and tired. WOW, one of the best cheeseburgers I have had in a long time, fresh veggies, cooked properly, and pretty quick to service. I would certainly stay here again.

The water pressure was EXTREMELY low and slow. The shower would not get hot. The volume of the Tv was very low even when you turned the volume all the way up. The elevator wasn’t working- had to walk my luggage down three floors. Horrible experience

When you walk into the lobby, it is nicely decorated and clean and welcoming! But when we got our 1st room it smelled like wet towels or something like that. And when I looked at the beds, one bed had dirty sheets on it but the bed was made up to be ready to sleep on! I attempted to call the front desk and the phone was useless because all I could hear was crackling! So I went to the front desk and requested another room. I was given another room w/no hesitation. When we got to the floor that our room was on, OMG the floor smelled like it had not been ventilated for weeks! It was stuffy and hot! We got to our room and I had paid for 2 queen beds but was given 2 full beds for a family of 5! At this point I was just so tired and frustrated from the long drive and traffic and having to go from one room to another. I just decided to keep the room and keep our ac at 60 degrees so our room will not be hot or stuffy like the hallway. We will not be staying here again!

Positives- The breakfast was tasty and the staff was nice. Negatives- the hotel is very old, there was a hole in the corner of my room wall, the window shade fell off on my first night, and the hardware holding it did too. The room also had a humid smell. I did tell the staff about the shade and they offered to send someone from maintenance so that was also good.

We had no hot water the water barely got lukewarm, no continental breakfast but there was coffee. Of all the Holiday Inn stays we have booked over the last 40 years this had to be the worst.

This hotel is extremely dated and unclean. The halls seemed to have zero airflow, it was hot, stuffy and smelled disgusting. They didn’t have towels. Was charged a $100 incidental hold for booking via a third party, but their typical incidentals hold is only $25/night. Very thankful that this was only a one night stay. This place needs major work!

Employs at the front desk window is a wonderful stay. I just cannot say enough good things about Maggie and Senedu. They are professional kind and courteous. They greet you with a big smile and ensure that you have a great day. I haven’t recommended this place because they’re so welcoming and fun.

Exactly what you would expect for budget hotel. Excellent customer service, good enough rooms. The amenities are deteriorating— gym, pool— but for an overnight stay it was adequate.

My spouse and I chose this hotel for a brief staycation, seeking an opportunity to escape parental responsibilities for a night. The hotel provided ample open parking, and the online booking process was straightforward. The staff members were courteous and accommodating, contributing to a seamless experience. The beds were comfortable, which allowed us to enjoy our stay. Additionally, we perceived the surrounding area as safe and peaceful. I would consider reserving accommodations at this hotel again in the future.

Had to call maintenance three times. No hot water. Toilet broke and needed new parts, then it wouldn’t flush. Shower leaks through the tub on the floor. AC cover comes off. Unable to talk to a manager.

The front desk assured us the problem was resolved. Other inconveniences were the elevator was out and the frequently had events at their ballroom and seemed to care less about their customers who were staying in rooms.

I stayed at this property years ago and when I checked in the person at the front desk so I know you haven’t been here since we’ve renovated. I said no I hadn’t lobby looks great. Well when I got up to the room, it was subpar it was unfortunately dirty Light was falling off the wall. It had not been updated.

Family member sick. Checked in December 24 but checked out December 25th. Exxpecting refund but so far nothing. Also charged $50 extra for deposit of some sort to be refunded at check out, and lchecked out one day early. Advised check in day and she said to let her know before noon the following day and it would be ok to check out day early. I checked out around 9:30 and was told would get email, so far nothing

The location is convenient. The Hotel is very outdated, and not very clean. The room towels were old, stained and what seem like pub hairs.

My husband and I are tall and needed a king bed! Was very disappointed with this!

Proximity to freeway made the room a bit loud when loud vehicles like motorcycles went by.

The decor colors were awful. Not even cheerful. The water for shower was extremely hot and no water pressure at all and the toilet was not for adults. We asked for more towels and they were not delivered. I was really disappointed in this Holiday Inn.

Hotel was nice. Room was spacious with micro and frig bbut room maintenance was not up to par. Mold in ceiling corners. Lamp not working. Shower hrad drips. Sink slow drain.

The bedding was extremely dirty. The elevator broke down twice one my night stay. Bathroom walls were peeling. The tub was painted over and looked disgusting. Will never recommend anyone to stay here.

It was a great stay and convenient for us to stay near the UTD for a high school graduation and prom. The only issue we had was the hotel hosting a huge gathering in the convention center/lobby areas and no parking for guest.

My experience was very pleasant.

Our room was comfortable, the beds were great! It was close to the park we needed to be at. The swimming pools were freezing, the indoor pool felt like ice. I was woken up by the window rattling when the wind started blowing off the tornado that was near by. Other than that.... it was a good stay.

We had a last minute trip to the Dallas area for a basketball tournament...hotels in the area of the tournament were overpriced so I looked on Expedia for Holiday Inns near and found this one. It was easy to find, easy to get to our tournament 30 minutes away, and reasonably priced.

Customer service was really nice. I had issues with the tub, the water wouldn’t drain when the water was running ( even when the shower was used). There was a bad smell coming from the vents. They mention breakfast is included but it’s really not i was misinformed. There a fee of 14.99. House keeping missed our room twice to get cleaned out when that service is listed as services.

Old microwave and television, chair was broken in the room, toilet made soo much noise even when its not flashed. Fridge was broken as well. Over all was just ok

The room was also worn down, the carpet was torn and the bathroom fixtures were loose and almost falling off. The breakfast was not free (I thought it was, but that was my misunderstanding). So instead of paying $60 for breakfast ($15 x 4 people) for cereal and eggs, we just went to Starbucks.

Just wasn’t happy

I didn't like how I booked on Expedia and the lady who checked me in didn't tell me about the breakfast wasn't complementally breakfast wasn't free. The is a shock and embarrassing. 14.99 for some nasty and not much to choose from food. The kitchen team was nice to me. other than this issue I like the cleanness of the hotel and option of indoor and outdoor pool. The room was comfortable. Maybe if they have a posting of the breakfast at check in and weather you book or Expedia or not it should be practice mentioning it when checking in. I blame Expedia also too, they didn't say i had to pay a deposit, and they had complementally breakfast on the site which wasn't true. I will soon stop booking on Expedia. This is not the first suprise from Expedia Group bookings

The beds were terrible they were broken

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. the front of the building looks amazing and you expect the indoors to match. The lobby area was acceptable and somewhat clean. The rooms are another story. I had 2 bed for my children. walked in to a musty smell and older not updated rooms. TV was not working. inspected the beds for cleanliness and they were adequate enough. outdoor pool needed extra cleaning or upgrade and the guest rooms view from the pool area was shocking. Many of the rooms seemed to be inoperable because you could see mattresses standing by the windows. Who wants to see this while relaxing by a pool? My husband had a separate room and his room WAS disgusting. we had to ask to be changed to a different room. Musty smell upon walking in, apparent mold on the bathroom wall, chair was overly stained and dirty, bed box springs were tore and hanging, but when we lifted the pillows from the headboard we were shocked. We didnt know if it was mold or major stains on the headboard. WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!

The toilet in one room was leaking but we didn’t notice until the day we were leaving. Overall the hotel could use new carpet and some remodeling but it was a good option for us.
